- 1:43Speaker 1: But you know it is what it is.
- 1:46Speaker 2: So with that being said, because we got a lot
- 1:48Speaker 2: of business, big shout out to hip Hop Way hold up,
- 1:54Speaker 2: hip Hop DX is gone. I forgot so used to
- 1:59Speaker 2: saying that. Shout out to them for being one of
- 2:02Speaker 2: my sources for a number of years. But everybody is
- 2:07Speaker 2: a source. Social media, Instagram, Twitter, all that good stuff,
- 2:12Speaker 2: but it's specifically Hot New hip Hop, sometimes Complex and
- 2:18Speaker 2: other places where I get my stories from. Let's get
- 2:21Speaker 2: righted to the business, a boy, I almost didn't want
- 2:26Speaker 2: to do this one. DJ Academics reveals Drake's mindset during
- 2:34Speaker 2: the Kendrick Lamar battle. Right, and I'm going to read this.
- 2:41Speaker 2: This is coming from Hot New hip Hop dot com.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I want to get the quote, you know, because Academics
- 2:51Speaker 2: Glaze Unit King Glazer of Drake.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Here's the quote.
- 2:57Speaker 2: He did get to a place where he's like like, yo, okay,
- 3:01Speaker 2: it's one of those where everyone's against me, Like the
- 3:05Speaker 2: rest ain't calling it fair no more. This guy could
- 3:08Speaker 2: just make up whatever even if it's a complete lie.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Is this some audio? I don't want to play no
- 3:17Speaker 2: audio from this cap. Also, he said he was never sad.
- 3:23Speaker 2: He was definitely focused and competitive, one hundred percent focused
- 3:28Speaker 2: and competitive. Now, excuse me if if I'm getting this wrong,
- 3:36Speaker 2: because I could be, but I feel like on Iceman,
- 3:40Speaker 2: Drake really said how he felt. We don't need you
- 3:45Speaker 2: academics to come up and tell us now this how
- 3:48Speaker 2: he felt. Y'all wow, because you was in the bed
- 3:50Speaker 2: next to or is your pillow talk, Pauls. You know
- 3:55Speaker 2: what I'm saying, like what Drake?
- 3:57Speaker 1: I think?
- 3:57Speaker 2: I feel like On Iceman Drake in the first song,
- 4:01Speaker 2: Drake already said how he felt what his mind state was.
- 4:05Speaker 2: And sure, you might not want to use the word
- 4:09Speaker 2: sad because it feels weak, but he kind of was.
- 4:16Speaker 2: He just used different words. You know what I'm saying,
- 4:19Speaker 2: And there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, quite honestly,
- 4:22Speaker 2: if you're on top of the game, successful as as
- 4:28Speaker 2: a pop artist, as a rap art like you just
- 4:31Speaker 2: you're hitting the streams, you're selling music, you're the biggest
- 4:34Speaker 2: artists in the world, and now it feels like the
- 4:38Speaker 2: world is against you.
- 4:40Speaker 1: You can't tell me that it wouldn't make you sad.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Now, I do believe he was focused on being competitive
- 4:49Speaker 2: because he went back and forth with Kendrick, so he
- 4:52Speaker 2: was trying to be competitive.
- 4:54Speaker 1: He just lost, y'all. That's it.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Like we're doing the jay Z and noasting again, right,
- 5:00Speaker 2: talking about oh, well, his stuff was all lies, not
- 5:04Speaker 2: all of it.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Not all of it, Drake.
- 5:07Speaker 2: We have footage that's lived on the internet forever of
- 5:13Speaker 2: you saying the N word in a way that the
- 5:16Speaker 2: hip hop don't say it like that. Okay, just look
- 5:21Speaker 2: it up. If you're an obie Ho, you like impossible,
- 5:24Speaker 2: just look it up for yourself obi Ho. Okay Again,
- 5:28Speaker 2: I've said before numerous times, even when I reviewed Iceman,
- 5:31Speaker 2: which I thought was good, I ain't gonna lie. I mean,
- 5:34Speaker 2: it's what I expected from Drake. I didn't expect him
- 5:38Speaker 2: to become pharromanch overnight.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He's not that guy.
- 5:42Speaker 2: But I kind of feel like it's the same excuses, right, Oh,
- 5:48Speaker 2: Kendrick was lying and oh everybody believes him and everybody.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Was against me.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It's extremely similar to the fallout of the Nas and
- 5:59Speaker 2: jay Z Beef. Jay Z lost, y'all. I was there,
- 6:03Speaker 2: more importantly, I was on the radio for a hip
- 6:06Speaker 2: hop show.
- 6:07Speaker 1: We did a poll.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Every radio station did a poll, included in New York.
- 6:12Speaker 2: He lost everyone once he dropped super ugly. He lost
- 6:17Speaker 2: every pole. Okay, so let's not revise history. But one
- 6:24Speaker 2: of the things that was said over time to try
- 6:27Speaker 2: to make you feel like jay Z might have actually won,
- 6:30Speaker 2: this is what they do.
- 6:31Speaker 1: He might have actually won. Ah, Man, come on, dog, if.
- 6:35Speaker 2: There's a fight going down and one dude clearly gets
- 6:38Speaker 2: knocked out, you can't come twenty years later and be like,
- 6:43Speaker 2: but he got up, so actually he wasn't really that hurt.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He was hurt enough to go down right. Okay.
- 6:53Speaker 2: So it's just one of those things where you could
- 6:58Speaker 2: tell there is a fan base, and now I can't
- 7:01Speaker 2: even I don't know if I could call them fans
- 7:03Speaker 2: because I had plenty of Drake albums, because I like
- 7:05Speaker 2: the music, right, I would consider myself a fan. But
- 7:09Speaker 2: when you just I'm a hip hop fan first, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: Drake said he was also, So a battle went tu
- 7:18Speaker 2: and he lost. We can't turn around and act like
- 7:22Speaker 2: it really wasn't that was not like us really that good,
- 7:25Speaker 2: wasn't really that popular. It was bots in the Super Bowl,
- 7:29Speaker 2: they had bots in the stands or they piped in
- 7:32Speaker 2: people saying a minor No they didn't.
- 7:37Speaker 1: The song was I okay, it just was so.
- 7:42Speaker 2: But again, we know where Drake was because he wasn't
- 7:49Speaker 2: hiding any of it. Right, And this is the last
- 7:52Speaker 2: thing I'm gonna say before I move on, But.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You gotta look at.
- 7:56Speaker 2: The timeline of Drake during the battle, everything he did
- 8:01Speaker 2: and said, and not just in record for him, right,
- 8:05Speaker 2: Drake was completely engaged. Yes, he was focused on winning,
- 8:08Speaker 2: he was focused on being competitive, all of that. But
- 8:12Speaker 2: it started with him begging Kendrick to drop a disc record,
- 8:18Speaker 2: and in the midst of him waiting, he Drake dropped
- 8:22Speaker 2: two disc records, right push ups, which is probably his
- 8:26Speaker 2: best because I like that one, especially when he said
- 8:31Speaker 2: to Rick Ross, you know your first number one? I
- 8:33Speaker 2: put it in your hand. I was like, WHOA, Okay,
- 8:36Speaker 2: I like that one. But he dropped two disrecords. The
- 8:40Speaker 2: other one was that AI crap that everybody seems to forget,
- 8:45Speaker 2: the super ugly of the Drake disses, right, just complete trash.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And then all he did was troll online with images
- 8:56Speaker 2: and stories and Compton College. Oh Drake posted the picture
- 9:02Speaker 2: wearing Compton High School Compton College shirt and he told
- 9:07Speaker 2: Kendrick to drop until he did, And now everybody is
- 9:11Speaker 2: just so, well, no, this is what the battle is.
- 9:17Speaker 2: So academics trying to help Drake because he gave him
- 9:21Speaker 2: a chain like he was some high school girlfriend rewarding
- 9:25Speaker 2: him for his support during this time tells you everything
- 9:32Speaker 2: you need to know about Drake's mindset. Brother was hurt,
- 9:37Speaker 2: the boy was down, and he continues.
- 9:40Speaker 1: So there you have it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Do you think it even matters what his mindset was
- 9:46Speaker 2: during this back and forth? I think some people tend
- 9:50Speaker 2: to want to know what Kendrick's mindset was, you know,
- 9:53Speaker 2: you know through the music. But because Kendrick just dropped records,
- 10:01Speaker 2: he didn't do like you know, Instagram stories and cryptic
- 10:05Speaker 2: posts and all that. He was just in the batcave.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So leave your comments in a comments section below. Next same,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I'll make sure. I want to make sure I get
- 10:17Speaker 2: this right. Baby King thinks he's better than the.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Current Big three.
- 10:24Speaker 2: We have to get a quote from him before I respond,
- 10:27Speaker 2: because I want to make sure I understand completely what
- 10:32Speaker 2: this guy is saying. And if you wonder, what's the
- 10:34Speaker 2: Big three I don't really listen to rap, but I
- 10:36Speaker 2: like your podcast, Drake, Kendrick and Jacole, right, which I
- 10:42Speaker 2: don't think there's a big three anymore. Kendrick said it,
- 10:47Speaker 2: it's the big me, okay. But baby King say he
- 10:50Speaker 2: better than all of them. Okay, so let's get a
- 10:53Speaker 2: quote from him real quick. I don't want to be
- 10:56Speaker 2: the best of the weakest. I want to be the
- 10:59Speaker 2: best of the best, and that should be the mentality
- 11:03Speaker 2: of everybody coming up. Well, I don't need to read
- 11:05Speaker 2: no more. He tuck his tail at the same time
- 11:09Speaker 2: he pound his chest.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm better than the big three, but everybody should say that. True.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It's absolutely true. If you're competing in this art form,
- 11:24Speaker 2: you should feel like you are the best. But there's
- 11:27Speaker 2: one thing you're missing.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Team.
- 11:32Speaker 2: All of these guys, including Drake, at one point of another,
- 11:39Speaker 2: has shown that they are formidable when it comes to
- 11:45Speaker 2: Mike's skills and see it right on one level or another, right,
- 11:50Speaker 2: including Drake duppy freestyle go look it up. But I
- 11:58Speaker 2: kind of feel like Kim is really looking at popularity
- 12:04Speaker 2: and success and honestly, when you say, hey, I think
- 12:09Speaker 2: I'm better than a big three, and you mean it,
- 12:13Speaker 2: in that way. It just for hip hop heads. It's
- 12:16Speaker 2: like saying, you know, you might as well not even
- 12:18Speaker 2: open your mouth. We don't care about who's popular. We
- 12:22Speaker 2: care about if you strip away the money and the popularity.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And these guys are in a cipher who getting busy
- 12:31Speaker 2: and who ain't. And I haven't heard anything from Baby
- 12:36Speaker 2: King from a lyrical standpoint that suggests that he could
- 12:41Speaker 2: hold his own against any three of them in the cipher.
- 12:45Speaker 2: You would be last, you would be the weakest. And
- 12:48Speaker 2: the thing about Baby King is his album Casino.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I love it. I've been listening to it like since
- 12:55Speaker 1: it dropped.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's probably a short shot for my top five if
- 12:59Speaker 2: it doesn't get knocked out by something crazy. But that's
- 13:03Speaker 2: because he makes great music. To his point, he's not
- 13:10Speaker 2: really He's not really top three lyrical guys. And I
- 13:15Speaker 2: wouldn't even say the top the big three are the
- 13:20Speaker 2: best lyrical mcs in the game today because they are
- 13:23Speaker 2: not right. There's some guys who may not be as popular,
- 13:28Speaker 2: but they Pin is Crazy, thirty eight Specs, Ransom, Comway Ben.
- 13:38Speaker 1: He been slipping a little bit, but he's still my guy,
- 13:41Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like this, there's some guys
- 13:43Speaker 1: who are better if we're just talking lyrically, plenty more.
- 13:48Speaker 2: But the Big three is supposed to be the guys
- 13:52Speaker 2: that can do at all, and that's what those three can,
- 13:55Speaker 2: and I feel like Baby King does. He can make
- 13:59Speaker 2: a great out and he can make great songs, he
- 14:01Speaker 2: can make hits, but he's not on their level. He's
- 14:05Speaker 2: not on their level. Most people are familiar with the
- 14:09Speaker 2: big hits from Drake first and maybe Kendrick second, and
- 14:13Speaker 2: then Jake Cole is like an acquired taste, even though
- 14:17Speaker 2: he has hits also, but he's not a household name
- 14:20Speaker 2: like for example, you know, my wife was a fan
- 14:23Speaker 2: of Drake's liveries. I think the battle turned out against Drake,
- 14:26Speaker 2: but she was a fan of Drake. She's a fan
- 14:28Speaker 2: of Kendrick. She don't mess with j Cole, and I
- 14:33Speaker 2: don't think it's anything he did. I think it's a
- 14:36Speaker 2: sense that we witnessed that what he says really doesn't
- 14:43Speaker 2: matter as much. You know, I think she's wrong, but
- 14:49Speaker 2: there you have it. So I don't know, do you
- 14:51Speaker 2: think Baby King has done enough with two albums on
- 14:55Speaker 2: the mainstream side. I know he's had music before then,
- 14:59Speaker 2: but if you just stick to the first two on
- 15:02Speaker 2: PG lane. Do you think he's done enough to be
- 15:06Speaker 2: considered better than the current Big three? Do you think
- 15:11Speaker 2: maybe he's a part of a new Big three? I
- 15:13Speaker 2: think that's impossible considering Kendrick's the only survivor of the
- 15:18Speaker 2: whole Big three situation. They all dropped albums gn X
- 15:25Speaker 2: for Kendrick, to fall Off for J Cole, which was
- 15:28Speaker 2: a double album Iceman, and two other albums for Drake,
- 15:35Speaker 2: and gn X seem to be the only one that
- 15:39Speaker 2: really had any kind of real buzz, like long lasting buzz.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I feel like people forgot J Cole dropped the fall
- 15:48Speaker 2: Off and man, the intine is Destroyian Drake for his lyrics,
- 15:55Speaker 2: So there goes that momentum, right, and then you have
- 15:58Speaker 2: people like academics to saving so baby King uh not yet,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you don't have to get some bar work in in
- 16:06Speaker 2: order to be considered a part of the victory because
- 16:08Speaker 2: that's the area where you lacking. So if y'all agree, disagree,
- 16:12Speaker 2: don't even care, leave your car, leave your comments in
- 16:16Speaker 2: the comments section below. And lastly, so with all the
- 16:25Speaker 2: beefs and disc records and confrontations in the rap game,
- 16:34Speaker 2: which is all a part of the sport. Don't listen
- 16:36Speaker 2: to Jay Z, Well, yeah, definitely don't listen to him
- 16:41Speaker 2: because he said, you know, I don't know who bad
- 16:42Speaker 2: the rep should be part of hip hop anymore, and
- 16:46Speaker 2: then he going dis mad people on stage, Man, are
- 16:49Speaker 2: you crazy?
- 16:50Speaker 1: Okay, but if you don't know Griselda Griselda Records, Roselda
- 16:59Speaker 1: was a movement that helped helped usher boom back into
- 17:05Speaker 1: a more prominent light. Right, like not underground, but a
- 17:10Speaker 1: little bit above underground. Right.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Griselda Records mainstays basically feature a Westside Gun, Benny the Butcher,
- 17:22Speaker 2: and Conway the Machine, classic mixtapes, songs like just a
- 17:29Speaker 2: hell of a Run, and just for those who don't know,
- 17:33Speaker 2: Westside Gun and Conway are brothers, and Benny the Butcher
- 17:39Speaker 2: is their cousin, so they're also family. They put Buffalo
- 17:43Speaker 2: on the map for real. Upstate New York in general
- 17:46Speaker 2: put them on a map for real, which opened the
- 17:49Speaker 2: door for more people to listen to the Shade Noirs
- 17:53Speaker 2: and the thirty eight Specials, right because they were all
- 17:58Speaker 2: coming from up top and they had at this traditional
- 18:01Speaker 2: boom bat that quite honestly to their point, you know,
- 18:05Speaker 2: the City, New York City was it had to kind
- 18:08Speaker 2: of abandon on a mainstream level, Like there was always
- 18:13Speaker 2: dudes who were still had bars and was still making
- 18:16Speaker 2: boom back, but the attention on that sound was gone
- 18:21Speaker 2: because most of the stars or the young stars wasn't
- 18:25Speaker 2: you know, from New York, weren't doing that right. They
- 18:27Speaker 2: were doing drill and you know, rapping like the South
- 18:31Speaker 2: and all of that. So there's a lot of credit there.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Also shout out to rock Marci, who been in his
- 18:36Speaker 2: pocket forever, so he's old a lot of credit. But
- 18:42Speaker 2: with Griselda, it felt like at some point the three
- 18:48Speaker 2: split up, right all of a sudden. Benny the Butcher
- 18:52Speaker 2: over here were his group, the Soprano the Black Soprano
- 18:56Speaker 2: Family or whatever it's called, which I really like one
- 18:59Speaker 2: guy out of there. I always forget his name. It's
- 19:03Speaker 2: like heen something like that BSF Heen. I like, excuse me,
- 19:07Speaker 2: I like him. And then you see Conway got his
- 19:13Speaker 2: own situation with drum work and he signed loved the Genius,
- 19:17Speaker 2: and I forget the other dude's name, and you know,
- 19:21Speaker 2: then West Side Gun is over here, like, oh, I'm
- 19:24Speaker 2: gonna go get stove God and I'm gonna go get
- 19:27Speaker 2: this one and that one, and it was like, wait
- 19:30Speaker 2: a minute, what's going on? And these guys weren't saying anything,
- 19:35Speaker 2: which was kind of honorable. But there were a lot
- 19:38Speaker 2: of subliminals also, and not coming from West Side Gun
- 19:43Speaker 2: for the most part from what I could think of,
- 19:45Speaker 2: But it seemed like between tweets and subliminals on social
- 19:50Speaker 2: media and subliminals and records, it felt like Comway and
- 19:55Speaker 2: Benny felt like all three of them didn't really rock
- 19:59Speaker 2: with each other, but especially with Westside Gun until last week.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I think it was last week when Conway put a
- 20:12Speaker 2: crazy freestyle over Drake's make Him Pay beat, which I
- 20:17Speaker 2: think is the best song on Iceman.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I like it a lot.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Crazy freestyle, but in that freestyle, he addressed the situation subliminately.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Now what happened right before that, Like there was this
- 20:34Speaker 2: video of I guess pictures or paintings or whatever. Conway
- 20:41Speaker 2: was at a show and he took the like the
- 20:43Speaker 2: Griselda painting and put it off to the side, like, nah,
- 20:46Speaker 2: not that one. And I started to feel like, maybe
- 20:49Speaker 2: he's doing a little bit of trolling, right because the
- 20:53Speaker 2: rumor is y'all beefing, but they never say it, and
- 20:56Speaker 2: they'd been together, like remember when Westside Gun was like
- 21:01Speaker 2: he was in the airport with Benny and they saw
- 21:05Speaker 2: Freddy Gibbs and he said, y'all shoot, y'all two should talk, right,
- 21:09Speaker 2: So saying Bennie and Westside got a beef was wrong, right.
- 21:15Speaker 2: And then you know, then Conway, after this freestyle, was
- 21:18Speaker 2: at a show with the West Side Gun. So the
- 21:26Speaker 2: thing that makes this quote unquote rumor rail, which they're
- 21:33Speaker 2: still kind of denying in some crazy way, is that
- 21:38Speaker 2: Conway basically said it on a freestyle and then Maul
- 21:44Speaker 2: confirmed it in detail, right, Maul being the podcast dude,
- 21:50Speaker 2: who is.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Big Berks brother. Basically jay Z's.
- 21:58Speaker 2: I think he's still with rock Nation, but he was
- 22:01Speaker 2: a part of the three for Rockefeller Records. He's, you
- 22:05Speaker 2: know on the third guy you see who's not Dame
- 22:07Speaker 2: Dash or jay Z. Right, Maul the podcaster is his brother.
- 22:12Speaker 2: And he said he knew about this information, but he
- 22:16Speaker 2: kept quiet, and what he reported tracked with the subliminals
- 22:24Speaker 2: in Conway's freestyle. Right, And this is basically what happened.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And I know I went a long way to say
- 22:31Speaker 2: what happened I'm sorry for those who don't know. I'm
- 22:34Speaker 2: just trying to give context for the people who don't
- 22:37Speaker 2: follow this stuff, Okay, But basically, there was a point
- 22:41Speaker 2: in time with Griselda where Westside Gun, Conway the Machine,
- 22:46Speaker 2: and Benny the Butcher met with jay Z, and jay
- 22:50Speaker 2: Z suggested as far as keeping the wealth going and
- 22:55Speaker 2: spreading out and you know, like kind of like Wu
- 22:58Speaker 2: Tang and all of that, and or jay Z used
- 23:00Speaker 2: to do with some of his artists on Rockefeller. At
- 23:03Speaker 2: least that I know of, is he suggested to give
- 23:09Speaker 2: Benny and Conway ten percent of Griselda records and what
- 23:17Speaker 2: they were earning. And I'm not talking about ten percent each,
- 23:22Speaker 2: five percent for Benny, five percent for Westside Gun, which
- 23:27Speaker 2: the grand scheme of things is absolutely nothing. Give my
- 23:33Speaker 2: brother five percent, give my cousin five percent of this
- 23:36Speaker 2: thing that we built musically, at least at least musically,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and I take the lion's share because I did all
- 23:44Speaker 2: of the business. It seems more than fair and it
- 23:48Speaker 2: seems like something they would have taken. But Westside Gun said, now,
- 23:52Speaker 2: and that's where you get that bar where in the
- 23:56Speaker 2: freestyle or Conway was like, he don't want me to eat.
- 24:02Speaker 2: First of all, this is foul. I know they were
- 24:05Speaker 2: on stage afterwards because I think the thing is is
- 24:10Speaker 2: the beef part of it. They don't want to air
- 24:14Speaker 2: out because they're family. The reason why you'll see after
- 24:19Speaker 2: you know, after the split, so to speak, Bennie's and
- 24:24Speaker 2: you know with Westside Gun and after this freestyle Conway's
- 24:29Speaker 2: on stage with Westside Gun is because they're not trying
- 24:32Speaker 2: to tear down each other in public.
- 24:35Speaker 1: For cloud.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Right, it's just not They understand now at least that
- 24:44Speaker 2: some of this is good press, even when it's bad.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Now it may not be the best look for Westside
- 24:51Speaker 2: Gun because it makes them look no different than any
- 24:55Speaker 2: other rape label. Exact, it's it's the business. I keep
- 25:02Speaker 2: telling y'all, you can't really look at one person who
- 25:05Speaker 2: you don't like and say like, And I'm not trying
- 25:09Speaker 2: to take up for Diddy and everything he's done, but
- 25:14Speaker 2: I used to say, this person can't be the poster
- 25:17Speaker 2: child for an industry that does this on a regular
- 25:20Speaker 2: basis to most artists, if not all. And here you
- 25:26Speaker 2: have a Westside Gun with his own family not wanting
- 25:32Speaker 2: to give him five percent five What was he thinking
- 25:40Speaker 2: to give y'all two percent, like it's crazy, but since prerogative,
- 25:48Speaker 2: So I think what I think going forward, I think
- 25:53Speaker 2: they may have mended some of their differences. And it's
- 25:58Speaker 2: just like Jodasy, like you hear Joe tell their stories.
- 26:01Speaker 2: The brothers was fighting backstage and then performing not the
- 26:06Speaker 2: best way to do things. But I kind of feel
- 26:08Speaker 2: like with them, it's regardless of the disagreement, it's family first.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And I think.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Because that Griselda shine was starting to dim a little
- 26:23Speaker 2: bit and they were just releasing stuff and it was
- 26:26Speaker 2: only it was like they were heading right back to
- 26:29Speaker 2: the underground in some respects that if they did another compilation,
- 26:35Speaker 2: because they only did one where you get Westside Gun,
- 26:38Speaker 2: Benny and Conway back together again, that would do great
- 26:42Speaker 2: business for them. But they got to handle the paperwork first.
- 26:44Speaker 2: That's just what it is. So what do you think
- 26:47Speaker 2: about this Griselda situation? Do you think Westside Gun should
- 26:51Speaker 2: have given his brother and his cousin five percent of
- 26:55Speaker 2: Griselda so that it stays within the family and you
- 26:59Speaker 2: don't have this split that now features different artists who
- 27:03Speaker 2: most for the most part, we're all good, but it
- 27:07Speaker 2: didn't branch out as a part of Griselda. It branched
- 27:11Speaker 2: out as a result of bad business. Leave your comments
