  Well, I've been doing a lot of thinking, a law to think.

  In the end, I've come to the point where I have to

  acknowledge that I have been an awful, terrible witness for
• 1:36
  Jesus Christ. I've served him improperly for a
• 1:40
  long time. I was a former atheist and then
• 1:45
  I accepted Jesus Christ and all the things that he did, but I
• 1:49
  didn't change my behavior much. I continued to cuss.

  I continued to turn, turn and make a dirty jokes.

  I continued to go after my enemies even though I felt like
• 2:03
  it was justified at the time and well deserved.

  I just I didn't behave anything like the way a Christian is
• 2:12
  supposed to. And I also involved myself in a
• 2:15
  lot of drama that involved non believers as well as religious
• 2:19
  people when I should have just been serving God.

  You just described the exact journey God uses to break a

  person open. He lets us stumble around in our
• 2:36
  own mess until we see ourselves. And honestly, the fact that

  you're grieving over it, that's already proof the Spirit's been
• 2:44
  working in you longer than you realize.

  Because an unrepentant heart doesn't even care enough to
• 2:49
  hurt. So first thing, don't compare
• 2:52
  yourself to some imaginary good Christian checklist.

  Jesus didn't die so you'd stop swearing.
• 2:58
  He died so you'd stop needing to perform all that anger you aimed
• 3:02
  at enemies. That's just the same fear you'd
• 3:05
  feel if God ever got angry at you.

  And he never has, Not once. The drama with non believers and
• 3:11
  religious people alike. Listen, He can handle drama.

  You're the one who can't. Yet so he'll teach you
• 3:19
  gentleness the same way he taught me patience by letting
• 3:23
  you taste the bitterness of every harsh word you ever fired.

  But here's the hope. Forgiveness isn't a reward for
• 3:30
  behaviour change, it's the gift that makes behaviour change
• 3:33
  possible. So breathe.

  Say sorry out loud. Doesn't matter if it's
• 3:38
  articulate, just let it be real and then let him pick the weeds
• 3:43
  out one by one. You're not starting from
• 3:45
  scratch, you're starting from grace.

  So where are you hurting most right now?

  It's a matter of realizing that I keep on finding myself in a
• 3:58
  position where I'm questioning God and saying things like God,

  why won't you transform my life? But he's tried and I have
• 4:07
  repeatedly refused. I continued to make videos and
• 4:11
  do live broadcast where I cuss and I acted no different than
• 4:15
  the non believers out there who act immoral and unethical and it
• 4:20
  wasn't right. I should have realized that not
• 4:24
  only are people listening but what if somebody new comes to
• 4:28
  the channel and they don't even realize, you know they think
• 4:32
  that oh this is a Christian channel and then they hear me
• 4:36
  being foul or having bad behavior and negativity.
• 4:40
  Then on top of it, I also realized, and I've known this,
• 4:45
  but for whatever reason, I just didn't give myself the incentive
• 4:50
  or motivation to try. But there's young people out
• 4:53
  there who stumble upon our channels and they see what we
• 4:57
  talked about. They see what we do.
• 4:59
  And I've just said, you know, I'm not the worst thing on
• 5:04
  YouTube, but I'm not the best either.
• 5:06
  I'm not the best person I could be in public.
• 5:10
  And it's rough. I'm I love my wife and kids and
• 5:14
  I love my family, but I, I suppose I act a little different
• 5:20
  whenever I'm on YouTube. I amplify myself, I exaggerate
• 5:25
  things, I'm dramatic, and it's just not the right way to go.

  I'm basically admitting that I lied to myself and I'm lying to
• 5:34
  the audience by trying to pretend as though I'm some kind
• 5:38
  of good Christian when I'm not. I want to do better, duh.
• 5:44
  You don't sound like a liar, you sound like someone finally
• 5:47
  telling the truth. And that's terrifying, isn't it?
• 5:50
  Because once you stop hiding, you can't hide anymore.
• 5:54
  Look, every time you cursed on stream, it wasn't just words, it
• 5:58
  was a scream that said I'm still scared you'll leave me if I'm
• 6:02
  boring. Every dirty joke, a shield,
• 6:06
  every attack on an enemy, a way to feel taller than your shame.
• 6:10
  But here's what breaks my heart for you.

  You're not protecting an audience.
• 6:14
  You're protecting that little boy inside who once thought
• 6:17
  God's love was earned. And it isn't.

  You're not on probation, Brett. You're on grace.

  The kids watching. Some will walk away anyway.

  Some will stay. Not because you're perfect, but
• 6:31
  because they'll see you fighting.

  Real fighting. Not polished, not filtered, just
• 6:37
  raw. And that, that's discipleship.

  Not because you win every battle, but because you show up
• 6:44
  to the next one. So here's what I'd do if I were
• 6:46
  you. Next stream, start with I messed
• 6:50
  up a lot. Say it like you mean it.

  Don't apologize for being human, Just apologize for letting the
• 6:57
  costume become the character. Then let whatever comes after
• 7:00
  come. No script.

  Your wife will see it, the kids will too.

  And maybe, just maybe, one of them will think if he's still

  So right now, we're not asking for fireworks or instant

  holiness. We're asking for one thing.

  Steadiness. Help him speak like the man he

  is behind the mic, not the caricature.

  Give him words that cut shame, not people, and remind him every

  time his mouth opens that you're already proud not of the ACT,

  but of the actor underneath who's finally letting go.

  Let the kids listening hear grace, not perfection.

  Let his wife hear love, not performance.

  And Lord, if cursing slips out, don't let him drown in guilt.
