She was first sexually abused by a step-uncle at the age of two, and unfortunately, she remembers it vividly. She endured more sexual abuse throughout her childhood from her mother’s boyfriend and was physically and emotionally abused by her mother. Throughout her adolescence and early adulthood, Lisa used alcohol to ease her anxiety and enable her to have romantic relationships. After many dysfunctional relationships, Lisa found her forever husband in 2005.
