- 0:33were sort of the crowning JUELI it was. It was so beautiful, man,
- 0:36What about you? I was absolutely fantastic for me as well. And
- 0:39you and I were talking and you pointed out as we as we get a
- 0:43little older, and of course I got the kiddos more excited for the kids
- 0:46than we are for ourselves, which is which is a good thing to have
- 0:49a good, a good, a really good experience. I think as parents,
- 0:53I think you know something you don't always think about, is you know,
- 0:56cherishing the joy with the kiddos and what a great agree just watching their
- 1:00face, Yeah, just watching their face light up, you know, sharing
- 1:03stories the kids are all you know. What's your favorite Christmas presents you got?
- 1:07I think mine was like nineteen ninety one a Nintendo set. I could
- 1:11not believe that I had just received a Nintendo set. It was the best
- 1:15day of my life. I remember we got the eighth bit right, not
- 1:18the Super Nintendo right, No, Nintendo Yeah, eight bit? Yeah?
- 1:22Oh was that cool? You and I that same Christmas kift Man. Problem

- 2:54That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. We got a bunch of
- 2:58great emails. Of course, we can always email Tim at find your Healthy
- 3:01Place dot com. That's Tim at find your Healthyplace dot com. And before
- 3:07we get to the emails and before we get to the calls, Tim,
- 3:09real quick, I want to ask you about, of course, this time
- 3:12of year, we're just just a few days away from the new year,
- 3:15and something we've touched on a bit in the past, which is people really
- 3:20taking a kind of stock in life, assessing things. Where are they where
- 3:23do they want to be, how are they feeling, what do they want
- 3:25the new year to be be liking? How can we improve? And one
- 3:30of the best steps for that is kind of starting that journey, starting that
- 3:34conversation and looking to find natural supplements, better things for your body, better
- 3:38things for yourself when it comes to taking care of yourself. And of course
- 3:43I know a lot of folks have been getting into the healthy place in recent
- 3:46weeks making that very step. Yeah, absolutely, man, you know,
- 3:50if you're listening right now, I just I just like everyone's in a different
- 3:53place on their sort of health journey, younger, older, you know,
- 3:57no problems or minimal issues to their severe and chronic conditions issues. Everyone's on
- 4:02a different sort of place on that moving meter called the health journey, and
- 4:08so I love fanning the flame of somebody's health like whatever that looks like,
- 4:12small, medium, large, And the reason I love it so much is
- 4:15really connected to my passion for life, Like life is a gift that is
- 4:20worth living, it's worth understanding. And when you don't see that life is
- 4:26a gift, then you act that way, you live that way, you
- 4:28love that way, you don't love that way. You know you draw who
- 4:31you are and how you walk from what your belief is. Even about life
- 4:35and the quality of life is something that I'm passionate about, Becky's passionate about.
- 4:41And we've both had Becky and I both had health crises in our own
- 4:46family structures. And many of you, if you're listening right now, you've
- 4:48had a loved one or yourself have gone through something intense. So I would
- 4:53just look in and I would challenge you for twenty twenty four small, medium,
- 4:57large. You know everyone's a little bit different, but just taking one
- 5:00step, what does that look like for the healthy place? It would mean
- 5:02asking yourself, what is something health wise that bugs me? Or what is
- 5:08something health wise that bugs somebody I know or love? And I would just
- 5:12challenge you just that one item that comes to mind. I'd say, you
- 5:15know, either stop in our stores, call or hit the live check feature.
- 5:19Just experience who and what our wellness consultants are. I'm so proud of
- 5:25the training, the teamwork, and the mastermind of sorts that our wellness consultant
- 5:30Army has worked for nearly fifteen years now at the Healthy Place, sharpening recommendations
- 5:35and skills for this community, like what you're battling, what came to mind
- 5:40when you ask yourself, Hey, do I have a health condition that I
- 5:43kind of don't like? Or do I have a loved one? Like when
- 5:45that comes to mind. We're really successful in all the most popular and even
- 5:51medium popularity, and we discover what's working in our community and we reach out
- 5:58all around the world. We have mentors and heroes in this industry and we're
- 6:03connecting on what's working and then we're sharpening those skills to be more successful.
- 6:09So in my challenge to you twenty twenty four, pick one thing, one
- 6:13health thing that you want to improve, and that incremental improvement would be inspiring
- 6:16and helpful to you. As you were talking a friend of mine, just
- 6:18text and must be listening said they said solar Power. O mg. Exclamation
- 6:26point, exclamation point. Yeah maybe, yeah, maybe we've got a big
- 6:30fan. Listen off. I love solar Power. Solar Power is a vitamin
- 6:35D and K supplement, and people, millions of people are taking vitamin D
- 6:40Shawan without vitamin K and they don't know because they haven't been told or been
- 6:44educated that when you take vitamin D, your body assimilates and uses up your
- 6:48vitamin K stores. So the D and the K two together are magic.
- 6:54And I'm imagining this person texting and has been impacted by that because most people
- 6:59are efficient in vitamin D. And so when you take, especially through the
- 7:02winter months, when you take a quality vitamin D supplement like solar Power,
- 7:08you feel the difference. You feel your mood uptick, you feel your energy
- 7:11a little bit better, Your immune system gets strengthened, It connects and benefits
- 7:15balance as hormones like, there's a lot of lot to it. So whoever
- 7:18you are that Texan, thanks for giving solar Power a shout out. Very
- 7:23good timing too, by the way, speaking of that, is, as
- 7:26I look out the window here, the sun is shining. We are getting
- 7:29some good sun today. The problem is obviously the days are finally starting to
- 7:32get longer, but we're talking about even if you're getting all that sunshine and
- 7:38how beautiful it is, you're still not getting there. The days are so
- 7:42much short that you're not you're just knocking getting it. And where we're positioned
- 7:46on the globe, which I found interesting. UW did a study some years
- 7:49back, and where we're positioned on the globe you don't absorb it as well
- 7:53either, just with the angle of the sun to the earth. So yeah,
- 7:56take some vitamin D. So much, so much sun knowledge today.
- 8:00Thanks. If you've got a question, of course, we'd love to have
- 8:03you. Can you know, if you want a text, I guess that's
- 8:05fine. Prefer a call. We'd love to hear this morning six eight three
- 8:09two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten,
- 8:13even if it's to call in. And we get these calls from time to
- 8:15time, people who absolutely rave about their experience. We'd love to hear from
- 8:18you as well. If maybe you've had an opportunity to meet with a wellness
- 8:22consultant and see this stuff firsthand, experience some great results, we'd love to
- 8:26hear from this morning gets you on the air with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy
- 8:28Place, so I can just pick up phone gives call six oh eight to

- 9:45they are open for you right now at six oh eight three two one thirteen
- 9:48ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. Another great way
- 9:52folks reach out is via email Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 9:56That's Tim Tim at five your Healthy Place dot com. And Erica took the
- 10:01time email to write to us this week, says, after many years on
- 10:07birth control pills, I decided to switch to an alternative contraception methods following research
- 10:13into their potential long term effects. Since making the change, I've experienced more
- 10:18painful periods than before. Could you offer any suggestions for managing this increased discomfort?
- 10:24And that email is from Erica. What a great question, Erica.
- 10:26Yeah, really good question, Erica, And it's a pretty common one for
- 10:31the women in our community. And birth control obviously a big part of our
- 10:35culture and life. And what can happen is when a woman is on birth
- 10:41control for say ten years, you know, fifteen years, there is some
- 10:45imbalances that can take place that make it difficult for someone to get pregnant again
- 10:50after they get off, or it can mess with their monthly cycle from a
- 10:56timeframe standpoint or from a pain standpoint, and so that's something that we connect
- 11:01with on a pretty regular basis. And there is a fair amount of nutrients
- 11:05that have been successful in this area. There's a product called get Even by
- 11:11Lively Vitamin Co. I really like it because it has a nice blend.
- 11:15It's a bit of a normalizer, which what that means is if your levels
- 11:18US stain levels are too high, it will come down, if they're too
- 11:22low, it'll bring it up. So it's like a balancing formula for women.
- 11:26So that is called get Even by Lively Vitamin Co. And there's a
- 11:31few different nutrients that will help with pain overall. So like don Qui is
- 11:37a uterine tonic that can help relieve the painful cramping and blood flow. So
- 11:41that's in get Even gim assistant managing painful cramps and heavy flow while also encouraging
- 11:48balance to overall hormones, and so that formula has been really helpful. I
- 11:52would encourage a lady experiencing some of these difficulties one serving twice a day,
- 11:58both an AM serving and a PM serving. And then in addition to that,
- 12:03I would I would encourage adaptagenic herbs. It just helps sort of balance.
- 12:07So adaptagen means that it helps your body adapt to stress and your body's
- 12:11under this different levels of stress. It brings balance there which can also help.
- 12:15So I would encourage those two items. Great question. Of course,
- 12:18full lines are open for you as well. If you've got a question for
- 12:20Tim, love to get you on the air. Six eight three two one
- 12:22thirteen ten. That's six so eight three two one thirteen ten and Jackie joins
- 12:28us. Jackie, welcome to the programming. You're on the air with Tim
- 12:30O'Brien from the Healthy Place. Hey, good morning, Jackie. Hey guys.
- 12:33Hey, I was just wondering when I wake up in the morning,
- 12:39whether I sleep good or good. And I used to read voraciously and I
- 12:48can't even finish a book now. Is that something to do with my foremost
- 12:52service? You cut out there for a second, were you saying that you'll
- 12:56you'll fall asleep and you can't read whether I sleep good or not, which
- 13:03usually it's not, but I wake up tired the next morning. Ah.
- 13:07Yes, there could be a dozen reasons for that. When a customer comes
- 13:13in our store and reports a similar question, will always go for the adrenal
- 13:18glands first. So your glandular system is responsible for over ninety percent of the
- 13:24time when somebody says I'm fatigued or tired, it ends up being their adrenal
- 13:28glands most of the time. So there's a product called Adrenal Boost and that's
- 13:35by Lively vitamin Coat. It's our top adaptogenic formula, so it has like
- 13:39your rodeola ashwaganda macha and it's a nice blend that you feel the difference.
- 13:46So you probably have adrenal fatigue because most of the time that's what it ends
- 13:52up being. With this level of fatigue, even when you get a good
- 13:54night's sleep, you'll wake up and you'll still battle fatigue throughout the day.
- 14:00And stress and fatigue play and have an intimate connection. So stress is an
- 14:03indicator. So getting the adrenal gland strengthened will lead to more energy, lower
- 14:11stress, and deeper, better sleep. All of those things are sort of
- 14:15connected. If your sleep does and is affected pretty regularly, you don't feel
- 14:20like you are getting deep sleep, then I'd encourage a product called Snoozefest.
- 14:26Herbs like trip to fan and passion flower and Cama mile and Valerian root all
- 14:31will help you fall asleep, stay asleep, get that deeper sleep. And
- 14:37then you mentioned hormones. Hormones play such a huge role and adaptogenic herbs.
- 14:41I just brought this up with the previous question. Daptogenic herbs with some normalizing
- 14:46herbs that are a balancing formula for women is not a bad idea. So
- 14:50I'd encourage get even by Lively vitamin coat and adrenal boost by Lively vitamin.
- 14:56Those two together will hit the adaptogenic approach and the hormone balancing side of things.
- 15:01And then if sleep is still an issue in general, a product called
- 15:05Snoozefest or you can go uh. The CBDTCHC route has been helping our community
- 15:11quite a bit, but the snooze Fest doesn't have any CBDTHC, so you
- 15:13got a couple options there. But I think between those three items we can
- 15:16really help you out okay, thanks Jackie, and then email yeah at find
- 15:22your Healthy Place dot com. That's Tim Tim at find your Healthy Place dot
- 15:26com. Great question, Jackie. You two can be like Jackie. If
- 15:28you've got a question, We've got Toime foy would love to have to join
- 15:31us. Six eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three
- 15:35two one thirteen ten. We'll get you right on the air with Tim O'Brien
- 15:37from the Healthy Place. Of course, the website find your Healthy Place dot
- 15:41com. Let's find your Healthy Place dot com. Three locations west sid of
- 15:45Madison, Fitchburg and sun Prairie. And again the website find your Healthy Place
- 15:48dot com. And Jackie kind of when she was talking something kind of popped
- 15:52into my head. In one of the things that I've noticed as as I'm
- 15:56getting a little older, Jackie sounded quite young. But for me, as
- 15:58I'm gonna a little bit older, you start to kind of things start changing
- 16:03a little bit, whether it's not sleeping as well, fall asleep, or
- 16:07lack of energy and those kind of things. And for so long, so
- 16:11many people just kind of accepted that, well, that's just the way it
- 16:14is, Okay, So as I get older, I'm not going to get
- 16:15as good as sleep or as I get older, I'm not going to have
- 16:18that energy level and that simply shouldn't be the case, should it? You
- 16:23know, aimen to that that sort of hits a chord in me, because
- 16:26people do, they just sort of wake up. They're like, here's where
- 16:30I am. Life is intense, life is busy. This is just how
- 16:34I'm going to feel. And when something goes really bad, then we go
- 16:37to the doctor or we go to the urgent care and we sort of wait
- 16:41for bad things to happen. And being proactive in this area, not just
- 16:48with your medical professionals, but with your natural alternative side of things. You
- 16:52know, there is everything is connected, and when you're having a problem in
- 16:56one area of the body, it's not like that's always isolated. Like everything
- 17:00in the human body is connected. So looking at things from a holistic approach
- 17:04and asking the question, is there something I can take that's going to help
- 17:08this condition or issue that's natural with outside effects that's going to treat the issue
- 17:14make me feel better is something that hundreds and hundreds of Madisonians are experiencing with
- 17:18the healthy place every single day. And I'd like to draw it a sort
- 17:22of a comparison. I grew up in sort of the G and C culture,
- 17:26So my mom managed a GNC store. I manage a GEN store.
- 17:29And I really appreciate GNC and what they brought to the United States because they
- 17:33were around way long ago, and they're a little bit more of like a
- 17:37nutrition spot. You know, you can go and get nutrition, but as
- 17:41far as like going there and finding you know, the healthy place, what
- 17:45we do that's very different is we're targeting specific conditions, issues, problems,
- 17:51and we know what the solutions that are working in our community that have been
- 17:53working for decades, and we share that doesn't make us doctors or pharmacists,
- 17:57but we know nutrition, know supplements, We know brands of supplements, forms
- 18:03of ingredients that are good, better, best, and that's all. That's
- 18:06what we know and when we share that with the community every single day.
- 18:07So if you have an issue small, medium, are large, you know,
- 18:11like like like Jackie and Erica, and you know, bring it up,
- 18:15just ask the question, just know, just experience it. And what
- 18:18I'm trying to figure out, Sean, is how to help people experience it
- 18:22better. So like today, I mean, whether it's new year's resolution,
- 18:26whatever it is, like, get doesn't even have to be my company,
- 18:29Like, get someone on your team that can recommend natural alternatives that can impact
- 18:33and change your life, because life really is a gift. Your health is
- 18:37a gift. We're going into a new year here. You have people that
- 18:40you love, people that love you, and man, if you want to
- 18:42shine at all, you know, stay vibrant, like you got to do
- 18:47something. We talk about it and Tim, I know, you know,
- 18:51we get a chance to talk each week, and you and I will text
- 18:53back and forth during the week as well. And for people who don't know,
- 18:56you are passionate and it runs throughout the entire organization at the Healthy Place,
- 19:00everybody's passionate about being healthy and making those those lives well. Thank you
- 19:04man. It's like our vision, you know, It's like, how do
- 19:07you take Dane County? How do you increase the life expectancy of Dane County?
- 19:12How do you look at the total pharmaceutical drug intake of Dane County and
- 19:17be like, how do you minimize that in a healthy way? How do
- 19:19you really educate? And those are the big questions that we're asking and refining
- 19:22solutions to those. Every day and my ten year mission. Man, how
- 19:26cool would it be if we move the meter on some of those metrics?
- 19:30Would that be absolutely amazing? And it all starts. You've got to help
- 19:33out, by the way, folks, and I'll start. We need you,
- 19:37we need you. Get on and they'd love to see you. Whether
- 19:40it's West side of Madison, Fitchburg's on Prairie location of the Healthy Place,
- 19:42meet with wellness consultants or online Find your Healthy Place dot com that's fined your
