- 0:09Speaker 1: Bye bye. It's hell le no no no lo lo
- 0:14Speaker 1: lo lo loan no. Welcome to the nordibn N. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, job Shooter and it's Thursday, which means and
- 0:19Speaker 1: dear friend Mark Loopo joins us. Hey, Loopy are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Lupy lewis here?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Hello rab Loopy lou You always bring a smile to
- 0:28Speaker 1: my face, which we need today because we have some
- 0:29Speaker 1: really tragic news leading off the show. Everybody is talking
- 0:34Speaker 1: about the tragic death of Liam Payne. Hey, what time
- 0:38Speaker 1: is it, my friends? It is tea time. So a
- 0:41Speaker 1: sad beginning to today's show. We're getting more details about
- 0:45Speaker 1: the tragic final hours of his life, including a hotel
- 0:49Speaker 1: manager desperately calling nine one one. So this has been revealed.
- 0:53Speaker 1: The Sun newspaper has got hold of the call and
- 0:57Speaker 1: on the call we can hear somebody at the hotel.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I think it's the hotel manager desperately plean saying please
- 1:04Speaker 1: get over here, quickly, quickly, send somebody over. He's putting
- 1:08Speaker 1: his life at risk. He then went on to allege
- 1:12Speaker 1: that the star went on a rampage, destroying his hotel
- 1:15Speaker 1: room and reportedly was under the influence of alcohol and
- 1:22Speaker 1: drugs mark. We're getting a really really dark, sad picture.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Some people are saying, this is the underbelly of fame.
- 1:30Speaker 1: This is part of the business that we work in
- 1:33Speaker 1: that we don't really want to talk about that much,
- 1:35Speaker 1: but we do know that it's there.
- 1:37Speaker 2: We do. And I think I first started realizing there
- 1:40Speaker 2: might be a problem in the spring when his ex
- 1:42Speaker 2: partner had written a book that was kind of loosely
- 1:45Speaker 2: based on their relationship and it kind of alluded to
- 1:47Speaker 2: him having some issues with domestic violence and other problems.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And then just yesterday there was a car or an
- 1:53Speaker 2: announcement me that the X had, you know, contacted the
- 1:56Speaker 2: police and as a restraining order of some type to
- 2:00Speaker 2: to stop contacting her and her family. And I was wondering,
- 2:02Speaker 2: what is going on with this guy?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Like I see, okay, we can give you a little
- 2:07Speaker 1: bit more background here. So sources are telling page six
- 2:11Speaker 1: that he was on a real cycle of destruction for years.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So behind the scenes, the beloved Star's life was like
- 2:18Speaker 1: a ticking time bomb. I spoke to a few of
- 2:21Speaker 1: friends of Liam's that were close to the group just
- 2:24Speaker 1: this morning and they said that he had been battling
- 2:26Speaker 1: demons for a really long time, and while he'd tried
- 2:29Speaker 1: to damplay his struggles, they were much worse than anybody knew. Recently,
- 2:34Speaker 1: he did confess that he has been sober. He has
- 2:38Speaker 1: talked about his addiction his struggles here and so it's
- 2:42Speaker 1: painting a picture of somebody that really needed help, whose
- 2:47Speaker 1: life was a ticking time bomb. Inside has telling me
- 2:50Speaker 1: that after the group split in twenty fifteen, even though
- 2:54Speaker 1: he was successful, he put out a successful solo album,
- 2:58Speaker 1: he could sell out the garden market. He wasn't playing
- 3:00Speaker 1: tiny little venues. I know a lot of pop stars
- 3:04Speaker 1: who would absolutely love to sell out Madison Square Garden.
- 3:08Speaker 1: So even though he was selling out the garden, he
- 3:10Speaker 1: wasn't as successful as Harry Styles, and he wasn't as
- 3:13Speaker 1: successful as one direction. If you can play ten nights
- 3:17Speaker 1: at a venue and then you're just doing one is
- 3:21Speaker 1: that a bad thing or can you be grateful for it? Well?
- 3:26Speaker 2: I think that's where it gets complicated, because you know,
- 3:29Speaker 2: he peaked so early in his career and the band,
- 3:33Speaker 2: while they were only together for a few years, they
- 3:35Speaker 2: had many successful albums and just recently he was announced
- 3:39Speaker 2: to be a part of a Netflix show that it
- 3:41Speaker 2: had Kelly Rowland and some other big names where he
- 3:43Speaker 2: would be judging, you know, other performers. So we had
- 3:46Speaker 2: a lot to live for and a lot to look
- 3:47Speaker 2: forward to. His career was not dead, it just maybe
- 3:50Speaker 2: wasn't as you know, peaking as it once was.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's a lesson in trying to be
- 3:55Speaker 1: grateful for your piece of the pie. There's always somebody
- 3:59Speaker 1: out there who has more, but there's always somebody that
- 4:02Speaker 1: has more than them. We've encountered this mark. I've worked
- 4:06Speaker 1: with celebrities who were huge stars, who are big stars
- 4:09Speaker 1: who are jealous of other celebrities. If you mention the
- 4:13Speaker 1: name Elton John or Bruce Springsteen, some of the people
- 4:16Speaker 1: I represented would go crazy. And I wanted to be like,
- 4:19Speaker 1: check yourself, Like, you're a huge star, you live in
- 4:22Speaker 1: a multimillion dollar home here. I think it's all always
- 4:27Speaker 1: about how you feel, though not about the truth, but
- 4:30Speaker 1: about how you feel. And he just never felt that
- 4:33Speaker 1: good about himself. His life was increasingly messy. I'm being
- 4:38Speaker 1: told now that they're actually photographs being shopped today. You're
- 4:42Speaker 1: probably going to see them on a website today, maybe TMZ,
- 4:46Speaker 1: maybe Radar of actual pictures inside his hotel room, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: allegedly it looks as if Mark I've seen these pictures,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it looks as if they're a drug paraphernalia all around.
- 4:58Speaker 1: There's a lot of white powder I'm seeing. There's a
- 5:02Speaker 1: lot of pipes. There's some tinfoil that looks like it
- 5:05Speaker 1: has been lit, which we know is part of how
- 5:08Speaker 1: people use heroin. There's a television screen that is broken.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The room looks like it's in disarray.
- 5:16Speaker 2: That's very disturbing to hear. And you know, I can imagine,
- 5:19Speaker 2: just based on what I've read and what you shared
- 5:21Speaker 2: this morning, that there really was this last moment in
- 5:25Speaker 2: his life was really one that was low and it
- 5:27Speaker 2: was out of control, and that doesn't just happen right Like,
- 5:30Speaker 2: this is probably going on for some time now, and
- 5:33Speaker 2: you know it escalated. And what's so crazy, too, is
- 5:35Speaker 2: in the hours leading up to his death, it looked
- 5:38Speaker 2: like he was having a great time on vacation with
- 5:40Speaker 2: his partner. They were taking selfies in the mirror addressed
- 5:43Speaker 2: for the beach and they were looking at the view
- 5:45Speaker 2: and saying how lovely it was to be an Argentina.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So I just don't understand what happened in those hours.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's a really good point. We should talk
- 5:53Speaker 1: about his social media posts. They look really really happy.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But once again, don't believe everything you see on someone's feet.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Often people who are in a really bad place put
- 6:05Speaker 1: up photographs of them looking really happy. And we know
- 6:07Speaker 1: there's something a little off about these pictures because his
- 6:11Speaker 1: girlfriend is in the posts. Well, she left Argentina two
- 6:16Speaker 1: three days ago, so he was posting pictures of his
- 6:20Speaker 1: time with his girlfriend after she had left. Are we
- 6:23Speaker 1: reading into this maybe? Or is there something significant here?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Maybe two? We will find out. But sometimes I know
- 6:31Speaker 1: that when I post pictures a couple of days later,
- 6:33Speaker 1: it's because I've been having such a good time I
- 6:35Speaker 1: forgot to post, and then I look in the phone
- 6:37Speaker 1: and like, oh, that's a great picture. Other times I
- 6:41Speaker 1: felt a little blue mark, and I've tried to post
- 6:43Speaker 1: a picture of happier days to remind me of those.
- 6:46Speaker 1: We don't know what he was up to yet, but
- 6:48Speaker 1: we will be finding out now. Normally this is the
- 6:51Speaker 1: part of the Naughty Butt Night Show where we do
- 6:54Speaker 1: a poll. We're not going to do one today. We
- 6:56Speaker 1: do not do polls when somebody has passed away. I've
- 6:59Speaker 1: noticed marks. So far, nobody from One Direction, or even
- 7:03Speaker 1: Simon Cowell, who created this group, nobody has said a word.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm assuming they will later today. Do you remember when
- 7:10Speaker 1: Matthew Perry passed, all the friends got together and issued
- 7:14Speaker 1: a group a joint statement. I'm told that's what's going
- 7:19Speaker 1: on right now. All the representatives of the different members
- 7:22Speaker 1: of the band are all talking about putting out just
- 7:26Speaker 1: one statement, and I think that probably will be the
- 7:29Speaker 1: way that they should go.
- 7:31Speaker 2: What do you think I did too, because in this
- 7:34Speaker 2: instance they were not as close as we would hope,
- 7:37Speaker 2: right like the Friends actors, while they didn't see each
- 7:40Speaker 2: other all the time, they still had this respect and
- 7:42Speaker 2: love for each other. I think One Direction had a
- 7:44Speaker 2: complicated relationship over the years, and some members loved early
- 7:47Speaker 2: from the group, and then it dissolved and over the
- 7:50Speaker 2: years we're not really sure where they were. But I
- 7:52Speaker 2: think these these events bring people together.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they were not close. Let's let's point out too, though,
- 7:59Speaker 1: that Liam was in Argentina to go and watch a
- 8:02Speaker 1: performance by Niall, who was in the band, and he
- 8:04Speaker 1: was playing a massive venue. He wasn't playing like a
- 8:06Speaker 1: little cabaret bo This is not Countess Luanne, this is
- 8:09Speaker 1: not a RealD like he was playing a massive, massive venue.
- 8:13Speaker 1: So once again they were They are successful, Mark, Maybe
- 8:17Speaker 1: not as successful as they were when they were in
- 8:20Speaker 1: one direction, maybe not as successful as Harry Styles, but
- 8:24Speaker 1: a life that I know many many, lots and lots
- 8:27Speaker 1: of musicians would absolutely love to have. Okay, moving along.
- 8:32Speaker 1: My favorite show is it The Golden Marshalrette. Did you
- 8:35Speaker 1: watch last night? I love this show. Joan is defending
- 8:38Speaker 1: a decision to remove beds from the fantasy suite. Mark
- 8:43Speaker 1: tell us.
- 8:43Speaker 2: All, yes, so, Joan Vassos. She explained her choice to
- 8:46Speaker 2: remove the beds from Venicee Squitek taking sex off a
- 8:49Speaker 2: table during her season I just love Joan. Joan said,
- 8:53Speaker 2: I'm not a person who can have physical relationship with
- 8:55Speaker 2: more than one person. She wanted to create the space
- 8:58Speaker 2: where meaningful conversation could take place without the pressure of
- 9:01Speaker 2: physical intimacy. She wanted to say, we didn't spend the
- 9:04Speaker 2: night together. There is no bed in the room.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Good God, Joe. No, it's called make decisions. If you
- 9:12Speaker 1: know what's going to happen in an hour, try and
- 9:14Speaker 1: set that up to be a good hour. If you
- 9:16Speaker 1: know you're going to go out tonight with friends for drinks.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Don't get too drunk. You just figure out what is
- 9:22Speaker 1: going to happen. You can predict the future. We've been
- 9:25Speaker 1: on this earth a long time, Mark, you have a
- 9:28Speaker 1: good thirty years where you know what's going to happen.
- 9:31Speaker 1: And so if you're having drinks and you bring somebody
- 9:33Speaker 1: back to a fantasy suite, come on, we know what's
- 9:37Speaker 1: probably going to happen. So removing the bed, as awkward
- 9:41Speaker 1: as that is, I think that's a really really good idea.
- 9:44Speaker 1: These fantasy Sweet Sweet Smart. Now the show's been on
- 9:47Speaker 1: over a decade. They used to really creep me out,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and so I sort of got used to it. It
- 9:52Speaker 1: became normal. But it should never be normal because it's
- 9:56Speaker 1: just sort of creepy.
- 9:57Speaker 2: It is creepy, and it you know, I've met and
- 9:59Speaker 2: you have too many of the people over the years,
- 10:01Speaker 2: and they'll do anything to find fame and attention. And
- 10:04Speaker 2: I think the difference is I've met John recently on
- 10:06Speaker 2: an event and we spent the night talking at her table.
- 10:09Speaker 2: She's so lovely and down to earth, and but she
- 10:11Speaker 2: I could tell she's serious about this. It's not just
- 10:13Speaker 2: the thing that she did to be, you know, have fame.
- 10:16Speaker 2: She's really looking for the next chapter in her life
- 10:19Speaker 2: and to spin it with someone she cares about. And
- 10:20Speaker 2: so that's the difference from me and.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Oh, that's so lovely, Mark, you know what, You're so
- 10:25Speaker 1: right here, and you know why. I know Joan is
- 10:27Speaker 1: the real deal because she's not tried to reach out
- 10:29Speaker 1: to Rob Shooter, all that bothering me finding my email,
- 10:33Speaker 1: finding my folks. They want to be stars. They want
- 10:35Speaker 1: me to talk about them, they want me to write
- 10:37Speaker 1: about them, they want me to gossip about them. They're
- 10:40Speaker 1: really thirsty. The first housewife that I became friendly with,
- 10:43Speaker 1: the first housewife whose cell phone was in my phone.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Guess who it was, Mark, who's the thirstiest? Jill Saren
- 10:50Speaker 1: definitely Frank close because they're guest friends. Second was Jill,
- 10:55Speaker 1: but they were the firstest before. He contacted me very quick,
- 11:00Speaker 1: like I was aware of Bethany, before I was even
- 11:02Speaker 1: aware of the show. I was like, what are you
- 11:03Speaker 1: talking about? What is this show? I'cally really watched it.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Joan not so much. A lot of the people on
- 11:09Speaker 1: the Bachelor and The Bachelorette are in my cell phone
- 11:12Speaker 1: because they want the attention. They want people like you
- 11:16Speaker 1: and me Mark talking about them. The fact that Joan
- 11:19Speaker 1: doesn't really care about me tells me that she's really
- 11:22Speaker 1: in this for the right reasons. It's not publicity. Oh,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I hope Joan finds love. I'm really invested in this Mark,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Like I have not watched network TV in a really
- 11:31Speaker 1: long time, and certainly not prime time. I watched the news,
- 11:34Speaker 1: or I watch like old black and white movies or Netflix.
- 11:38Speaker 1: But I'm really invested in this Mark. And if it
- 11:40Speaker 1: doesn't work out, I'm gonna be so sad. Me too.
- 11:43Speaker 2: No, this is good. I have a feeling from I
- 11:45Speaker 2: have a feeling it's gonna work out. A fingerscribe, oh, Mark.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And it's not Joan's fault. If it doesn't work out,
- 11:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna blame him right right away. Now, I think
- 11:53Speaker 1: there's about four left. There's one of them that I
- 11:56Speaker 1: do have my eye on. Is there anyone on the
- 11:58Speaker 1: show that has your heart? Let her a little bit, Joe,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and that's how you want?
- 12:02Speaker 2: I can't say, but I know that there's future plans
- 12:05Speaker 2: for her and they were really great, and so whatever happens,
- 12:07Speaker 2: it's going to be exciting for us. All tease.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Mark Okay, moving along. Brandy Glansville lawsuit against Andy hut
- 12:15Speaker 1: Cohen looks like it's stall. So Brandy was full, full
- 12:18Speaker 1: speed ahead with this lawsuit. She released the videos. We
- 12:22Speaker 1: saw the videos of Andy's outrageous behavior. It's a boss
- 12:25Speaker 1: asking for a three way sexual encounter. And even if
- 12:30Speaker 1: that's a joke, he's still her boss. I know that
- 12:33Speaker 1: anybody at my company who did that, if you phoned
- 12:35Speaker 1: me or texted me and it was sexual, you would
- 12:39Speaker 1: be fired. Like you just can't. It's inappropriate. You cannot
- 12:42Speaker 1: say this, and Andy did. And I think he's gonna
- 12:45Speaker 1: get away with it because it looks as if the
- 12:48Speaker 1: lawsuit has stalled. Well Brandy, Oh, Brandy, she's fell out
- 12:52Speaker 1: with the lawyers. She falls out with everyone doesn't say so.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Now she's fell out with the lawyers. She wasn't taking
- 12:57Speaker 1: the lawyer's advice. The lawyers were like, lay low, we've
- 12:59Speaker 1: got all this evidence here, lay low. She's been out
- 13:02Speaker 1: there on TikTok, she's been doing only fans, she's been
- 13:05Speaker 1: talking to the press. They were like, this is not
- 13:08Speaker 1: helping you. Plus, Brandy herself has been accused of sexual harassment,
- 13:14Speaker 1: and so that also has reduced her credibility. Listen to
- 13:19Speaker 1: your lawyers, Honestly, if you get yourself in trouble, if
- 13:21Speaker 1: you're ever in a big lawsuit, that's what you're paying
- 13:24Speaker 1: them for. That's why you pay them the big money.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Brandy's uncontrollable. I think that's her charm mark. That's part
- 13:30Speaker 1: one of the things that I really do like about her,
- 13:32Speaker 1: but not in a legal way, not helping.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It's nine And I think this begs the question, what
- 13:36Speaker 2: is actually going on on these shows and why is
- 13:39Speaker 2: this culture allowed to exist where people act in such
- 13:42Speaker 2: outrageous ways? Because where I work, in other places, you
- 13:45Speaker 2: be out, you be out so quickly. And I think
- 13:48Speaker 2: for Andy too, it's just incredible to me that there's
- 13:50Speaker 2: been so many examples of his bad behavior and he
- 13:53Speaker 2: continues to have a shoe mark.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I don't get it. I just I'm trying to think
- 13:58Speaker 1: of other people. If this happened to Jimmy Fallon, or
- 14:00Speaker 1: if it happened to George Stephanopolis, or if this happened
- 14:04Speaker 1: to somebody else on TV who had their own show,
- 14:07Speaker 1: they would be fired. They would be fired. And Andy's
- 14:11Speaker 1: tefl on here. Ah, We'll wait and see okay, quickly
- 14:14Speaker 1: before we get a break. What's going on with Nick Jonas?
- 14:17Speaker 1: A very dramatic story at a Prague.
- 14:19Speaker 2: A very dramatic so. Nick Jonas abruptly left the stage
- 14:22Speaker 2: during a Jonas Brothers concert in Prague after a laser
- 14:26Speaker 2: was pointed at him. The thirty two year old singer
- 14:29Speaker 2: was performing at the arena when the incident occurred, and
- 14:32Speaker 2: forcing him to stop the show and dash off the stage. Now,
- 14:35Speaker 2: in the video that's circulating online, the singer can be
- 14:37Speaker 2: seen reacting to the laser before quickly exiting, and fans
- 14:41Speaker 2: of the concert were left shocked, with some speculating about
- 14:44Speaker 2: the potential dangers of such a prank and as fun.
- 14:47Speaker 2: This incident really raised concerns about security measures at lave events,
- 14:50Speaker 2: especially when artists are facing these risks, people throwing bottles
- 14:54Speaker 2: at them, other objects. Very scary, very very scary.
- 14:58Speaker 1: And after what happened with Taylor Swift, a terrorist plot
- 15:02Speaker 1: against her, I understand why artists are a little on edge.
- 15:05Speaker 1: But after I got over my initial shock, Mark, a
- 15:09Speaker 1: friend of mine who knows the Jonas brothers, pointed out
- 15:13Speaker 1: that Nick left his brothers behind. He did spark he
- 15:18Speaker 1: thought there was danger and he didn't turn to his
- 15:22Speaker 1: brothers and say run with me. So the other two
- 15:25Speaker 1: Jonas brothers were left standard there, potentially vunerable. Mark. I mean,
- 15:30Speaker 1: it's a little insight, actually a little devious insight. He
- 15:34Speaker 1: left us.
- 15:35Speaker 2: He did leave them, you know, I can't say I'm surprised,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and I you know they don't get along. I was
- 15:41Speaker 2: at one of the concerts last year, you know I'm not.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised he left his family and the
- 15:46Speaker 2: audience too, because they were there at the show. I
- 15:48Speaker 2: went to this guy is definitely about himself and as
- 15:50Speaker 2: I run, so.
- 15:53Speaker 1: He ran so far I thought there was a sniper
- 15:58Speaker 1: shooting at the stage and you and me were performing.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'd grab your hand and say run thank you. No
- 16:05Speaker 1: thank you? Is the nor think Nick left his brothers
- 16:09Speaker 1: or were devious. Here, Okay, we're gonna take a quick
- 16:11Speaker 1: break and we'll be right back. Welcome back to the
- 16:15Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice Show. I'm Rob shuld have my dear
- 16:17Speaker 1: friend Mark Lupo, Heyloupa. Let's get to the pole results.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Last show, we talked about Mega, Marko's ex friend accusing
- 16:24Speaker 1: the duchess of not doing enough at a charity gala,
- 16:27Speaker 1: So she said she turned up at the gala, she
- 16:29Speaker 1: looked amazing, but she did the press line and then
- 16:31Speaker 1: she sort of left. She didn't really do anything to
- 16:34Speaker 1: help the charity. I think she wanted her to volunteer
- 16:36Speaker 1: or turn up the next day and do stuff. She
- 16:39Speaker 1: didn't do that, but she was happy to walk the
- 16:41Speaker 1: red carpet. Now, my question's a bit tricky. Is it
- 16:44Speaker 1: enough for Megan to just turn up at the event?
- 16:48Speaker 1: So lending her celebrity to an event like this, it
- 16:51Speaker 1: got us talking about it is that enough? Or if
- 16:54Speaker 1: you're gonna help the charity, should you really help it?
