- Kasra Dash: Today we're going to be talking about reputation monitoring services in Dubai. There might be a lot of different reputable companies or websites talking negatively about you. What would you do in those scenarios? James Dooley: For anyone who doesn't know what reputation monitoring is, let me explain. There are lots of different software tools we use to monitor brands—whether personal or corporate—across the entire internet. That includes social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, images, Google Search results, and any new webpages that appear. We monitor everything daily—and even hourly—to see exactly what information is being published. The minute anything with negative sentiment appears, a big red flag pops up. We reach out to the client immediately because many clients aren’t even aware something negative has gone live. From there, we act quickly to counter it with reputation management strategies. Kasra Dash: Some of the things we monitor include Google reviews, tweets, Facebook posts, Facebook reviews, Trustpilot, and any website mentioning your brand, your CEO, or a celebrity you're associated with. We ensure everything surrounding your brand, from an entity standpoint, is positive. In cases of cancellations or genuine issues, there may be reputable companies or websites speaking negatively about you. So what should you do? James Dooley: If a genuine customer leaves a one-star review, the first thing a business should do is reach out and try to resolve the situation. Ideally, they remove or upgrade the review. Sometimes delays happen, sometimes it's human error—there are many reasons someone leaves a one-star review. If you can’t resolve it, respond politely and professionally. Every business gets the occasional one-star review. You just need a healthy mix of five-star reviews. As long as you reply positively and have a majority of satisfied customers, that’s what matters. Dwelling too long on one negative review is unproductive. If the reviewer has never been a real customer, legal letters or specific wording to Google Business Profiles or Trustpilot can help have the review removed. On the other side, you should continuously collect five-star reviews to balance any negatives. Kasra Dash: Beyond reviews, tools like Google Alerts and Ahrefs Alerts notify you every time another website mentions you. We have a team monitoring this across all clients. As soon as something negative pops up, we counter it by flooding the web with positive content—press releases, images, videos, and articles—so the negative piece never ranks. That’s the power of monitoring your brand, company, or founder. If you feel your business needs this, visit Fatranks.com, fill out the contact form, and our team will reach out.
