  challenging, uh, broadcast. You're going to learn today if people

  are actually dealing with a mental health or if it's a demonic spirit.

  And I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think half

  the people even know what they're dealing with. And this is why so many people

  cannot go free. So let me just say, because I've been attacked
• 0:24
  a lot on this subject that I'm not like other
• 0:27
  deliverance ministers that you've seen. I don't go and film people convulsing
• 0:31
  and all that kind of garbage. I don't, uh, believe in that
• 0:35
  as far as I don't think the devil should be allowed to do that kind
• 0:38
  of mess. Um, but I want to tell you that you might have a
• 0:41
  family member that's struggling because of a spirit, and then the
• 0:45
  spirit affects the mind. It's not the other way around. But in America—
• 0:49
  now, I don't know where you're watching me from, but if you're in India or
• 0:52
  if you're in Pakistan, you've probably said— especially if you're in Africa, you've seen this
• 0:55
  firsthand, that there are people and they have demons, and it's
• 1:00
  very real, and you know that. But in America, sometimes we don't know that,
• 1:03
  and we think that medicine will fix it. But all medicine does is dull the
• 1:06
  body. That's pretty much all. But it doesn't— it doesn't remove
• 1:10
  the problem. So I'm going to let you listen to him, and then I'm going
• 1:13
  to tell you some Bible verses on it for you to tell, you know,
• 1:16
  is it mental health? Is it a demon? But the main purpose of my broadcast
• 1:21
  is to help so that somebody can get help, so that you can get
• 1:24
  help for your loved one or your family member or whatever.
• 1:28
  And recently a man was in the news. I've got his title in the thing.
• 1:32
  And, um, and it was a very serious situation, uh,
• 1:36
  a very serious situation. And so we don't want to have
• 1:40
  that. Let me see, it's taking a minute. Let me see if this broadcast

  is even going live because,

  whoo, because I know it's a tricky subject and it's going to take the feeds
• 1:50
  a few minutes to, you know, I might need to I might
• 1:54
  need to get his name out of the thing.

  In the Great Commission, Jesus said, they that have faith shall cast out devils.

  Say faith. It does not say preachers. It does not say missionaries,
• 2:30
  deacons, or elders. It says they that have faith shall cast out devils.

  Now, I was born and raised in Pentecost. My mother spoke in tongues before I
• 2:38
  was born. We heard so much tongues in my house when I was a boy,
• 2:41
  I didn't know which to use on the street, you know. They were— they
• 2:45
  used them all the time, you know. In those days they were fanatics anyway,
• 2:48
  blessed ones. In all my life in
• 2:52
  the Pentecostal movement, I never heard a sermon in my life on how to cast
• 2:56
  out devils. Not one in all my life. If you
• 2:59
  were sick, we'd pray for you. It always ended up with, say, if the
• 3:03
  Lord wills. That was a sneak patch. Nothing happened, the preacher said, well, the Lord
• 3:07
  didn't will, you see, so he could get off really But if
• 3:11
  you lost your mind, we put you in the crazy house. Didn't bother about that.
• 3:14
  We put a few in a crazy house when I was growing up. You see,
• 3:17
  we didn't cast the devil out of insanity. I began
• 3:21
  to preach, preach 3 years, never preached one sermon on how to set people free
• 3:25
  from demon power. You say, why? I didn't know anything about it.
• 3:28
  And I went off to New Zealand and Australia and came around to Java.
• 3:32
  Brother Howard Carter and I were traveling together by that time. We were the only
• 3:36
  2 people We're listening to a great man of God tell you how he helped
• 3:40
  people, so I think it'll help you today to listen. Great big church.

  It was an enormous thing.
• 3:47
  They already had a big church in Surabaya. On a high platform
• 3:51
  with all the dignitaries up there, a little girl slipped off the front pew and
• 3:55
  began to undulate like a snake on the floor. Green mess come out of her
• 3:58
  mouth, 8, 10 inches like this. Eyes like tiger eyes.

  It's frightening. I looked at the pastor and he
• 4:06
  counted the lights. He wouldn't look.
• 4:10
  I'd never seen anything like it.
• 4:14
  And I'll tell you what evangelists do when they get in a corner and don't
• 4:17
  know what to do. They start saying, oh Lord, save souls. Oh Lord, save souls.
• 4:20
  They don't really mean it. Oh Lord, save souls. Oh Lord, save souls. That's the
• 4:23
  way they get out of it. So I did my regular routine when I saw
• 4:26
  this devil thing going going back and forth across there, mocking the platform, spitting out
• 4:30
  that green mess. I'd never seen anything like it, never dreamed about it.
• 4:34
  All I could say is, Lord, say so. And God spoke back, says, I can't.
• 4:37
  I says, well, why can't you? He says, that demon is between you and the
• 4:40
  people. I said, well, move it. He says, move it yourself. Well, he said,
• 4:44
  you can't do anything tonight. That demon won. I said,
• 4:48
  I'm gonna win. He said, it looks like it to me.
• 4:52
  I was glad for that long song service, about 50 or 60 minutes.
• 4:57
  It gave me time to argue with God what to do about a girl
• 5:01
  going up and down like a snake clear across that big auditorium, back and
• 5:05
  forth, wild eyes and green mess coming out of her mouth. Now he, you know,
• 5:09
  he's in another country, this guy, and he's preaching the gospel and he doesn't know
• 5:13
  anything about this kind of stuff. He's just going up to have a nice little
• 5:16
  old meeting and a little girl starts going crazy.
• 5:19
  Good morning, everybody. And so, you know, what do you do? This is what I'm
• 5:23
  telling you. I, like, I posted on my, on my Facebook page about
• 5:27
  the whole incident, and people are having it come apart. Well, I don't
• 5:32
  care, because some of you have people that you love and they are
• 5:35
  in bondage. And if a preacher is so afraid to tell you the truth because
• 5:39
  it's going to offend you, your person will never go free, and you'll be medicating
• 5:43
  for the rest of their lives when it's a spiritual problem.
• 5:46
  And spiritual issues cause physical issues.
• 5:50
  And I'm going to prove that through the gospel. So let's take
• 5:54
  a look, shall we? Here we go. I didn't
• 5:58
  know what to do, so I finally was called on to preach, and I preached
• 6:01
  from this side. My interpreter was over here, and I stood up, and I was
• 6:04
  ready to do like evangelists usually do. Your flowers
• 6:09
  are so pretty, your homes are so lovely, your climate is so wonderful,
• 6:13
  I'm so delighted to see you. You know, it's a lot of baloney, but they
• 6:16
  they feel like they have to start that way being an evangelist.
• 6:21
  And I didn't give my regular, you know, of telling them how nice they were.
• 6:25
  When my hand hit this, I screamed.
• 6:28
  It didn't come out of my head, came out of my belly. My belly.
• 6:33
  I said, get up off that! And I scared myself.
• 6:39
  And the interpreter got scared and said nothing.
• 6:44
  But the devil understood English. Amazing.
• 6:47
  She wiped that mess off her face. She backed up and sat in the pew
• 6:51
  like a zombie. She sat there and stared at me while I preached for 45
• 6:55
  minutes. I thought it's all over. Yeah, see, I was very ignorant. Never heard
• 6:59
  any sermons on it. Never read a book on it. There were no books in
• 7:01
  those days about it. And I got ready to give my altar
• 7:05
  call because I'm an evangelist. And as I did, Rather than giving my altar call,
• 7:09
  I said, come out of her!

  You say,

  what happened? She was healed like that. That's right. Yeah, I was 20
• 7:21
  feet away. Healed. Her eyes became straight, her distorted
• 7:25
  face became smooth, and she became a beautiful little 12-year-old
• 7:29
  girl. Now, 2 things. Okay, so if
• 7:33
  you missed part of the story, he's a preacher. He's in a foreign country as
• 7:37
  music is going or whatever. She's only 12 years old.
• 7:41
  Now you cannot believe in this all you want, but it's all over the
• 7:44
  world. I know a preacher that went through
• 7:48
  India and they had a little girl— I'm gonna spell some stuff because
• 7:52
  I'm on TikTok and I don't want to set the thing off— but she was
• 7:55
  chained to a pole. And when he
• 7:58
  walked past, he's in a foreign country, nobody knows him, she reached out
• 8:02
  her hand and said she was going to kill him. And I think she called
• 8:04
  him by name. I'm telling you,
• 8:07
  my friend, that demons are real. They are still here and
• 8:11
  they are affecting people's lives. And there are people on earth
• 8:15
  that can help people go free, but most Christians don't even realize
• 8:19
  you're dealing with a spiritual problem. And if you're watching me today and you're thinking,
• 8:23
  Lisa, this doesn't pertain to me, I don't have a spirit— oh, it does pertain
• 8:27
  to you. Because if somebody has a spirit, it can affect you. And if
• 8:31
  there's someone you know that has a spirit, it can affect you. And you need
• 8:35
  to guard yourself to make sure that no spirits come to affect you. And I'm
• 8:38
  gonna break some fallacies. You know, I see a lot of Christians
• 8:42
  and they're like, yeah, you know, when you ask Jesus in your heart, then the
• 8:45
  devil comes and attacks you worse. And oh, by the way, welcome Godly Hacks

  that person is now free. And there's a lot of people in America

  and they're in bondage. There's a lot of religions, they're in bondage. They're, you know,

  there's an entire religion taking over America right now and it's in bondage to the
• 9:30
  devil. And nobody knows. So we're trying to get people free. I grabbed my interpreter,

  I said, what'd she say? What'd she say? And he turned and said,

  I don't want to be a screamer. He said, what happened? And I told

  him. I said, it's awful. He said, I think that little girl must belong to

  the pastor or the devil.

  He says, that don't matter. She says, it sounds all right to me. I said,

  that's because you weren't there. If you would have been there, it was nasty and

  I don't like it. LA, awesome. Thank you, LA. That's how ignorant

  I was of delivering people from that. I'd never heard, never seen it. She was

  the first person I'd ever seen that was possessed of the devil. Let me show

  you something. So this great man of God, you know, he didn't even— he's like

  most Christians. He didn't know someone could have a devil. He didn't even know it
• 10:46
  was even possible. He He didn't know how to deliver anybody. He didn't want
• 10:50
  to deliver anybody because it was— it's not a— it's not a fun thing.

  It's a yucky thing. But there are so many people right now,

  and, and you've allowed— like, people don't realize how the devil gets in,

  but he does get in because you've sinned and you got a bunch of preachers
• 11:05
  telling you that your sin doesn't matter, God loves you anyway. Well,

  sin will give a toehold to the devil.

  and I prayed for— let me tell you something, true ministers of the gospel,

  we don't like dealing with devils. I mean, I know you got people out there

  like, I'm a demon slayer, and The first time I cast the devil out,
• 12:36
  I like was in my hotel room just grossed out. I didn't even want to
• 12:40
  leave. The first time I cast out a devil, I might show you the video.

  I was in Chicago and there's a little boy and
• 12:46
  that thing talked to me and I was like, I don't never want
• 12:49
  to do that again. And then God led me to this video.

  And, and so I'm just trying to help you. I know people are mad at
• 12:56
  me. I posted about, you know, this guy that sliced himself up on, um,

  on my page and people got all mad at me. But I'm trying
• 13:04
  to help you. I'm trying to tell you that there

  are bad, evil, wicked— some people are like, how could
• 13:11
  Jeffrey Dahmer do that? A bad, wicked, probably several

  spirits. All you got to do is look in the prisons, look in the
• 13:19
  psycho ward. Those are demonic spirits. Well, they have mental health.

  Yes, because of a demonic spirit. I am

  telling you that's irresponsible. No, it's the truth.

  Well, they're a baby. Yes, and let me address this because I know sometimes

  people are like, you know, well, a kid can't have that.

  Let me, let me explain to you how a child can have a demonic spirit

  the demon knows no boundaries. You guys need to understand

  They are evil. They don't care if you're a 90-year-old

  grandmother or a 5-year-old child. If they can invade you,

  they will. And so if I'm a mom and a dad and

  I don't know anything about God— and let me tell you another way a devil

  can get in a child. You got 2 parents, they're both drug addicts.

  Um, see, we got— I'm not coming into you,

  Drop. You can, you can bug off. There's 2 parents and

  they're both drug addicts and they're fighting in the house, let's say,

  beating each other up and fighting and all the stuff. Guess what? If that woman's

  pregnant That spirit can get right inside the baby.

  That's how a little child can become full of
• 14:57
  the devil. That's how. Okay,

  a full-blood Irishman. I was born that way. I wanted

  to hit her so I wanted to sock her upside the head and said,

  But then I said, well, that sure would be poor news in the paper tomorrow.

  American evangelist socks the people with his fist. I said,

  I better not do that. I said, I could do like Joseph, I could give

  her the coat. But then I said,

  people thinking me up there preaching without a coat. And I looked down

  and unclean spirit, come out of her! You could hear it a block

  away. You say, well, why did you scream? Well, the Lord said the devil was

  hard of hearing. You got to get his attention. God bless you,

  really, I didn't do it. She says, the devil grabbed it. And I said,

  I'll tell you one thing, he never grabbed anything else of yours as long as
• 18:54
  you live. She said, I felt it leave when you said get out of there.

  She says, this was the first time my belly has been soft like this in
• 19:00
  15 years. That was you. Awesome. Thank you.

  Oh, it was easy to preach, man. They got saved by the bushels around there

  that night. Yeah, it was so easy. I discovered something. See, I was learning.

  Just, just, just learning. So I, I sped it up. I'm going to slow it

  down again, but I want you to hear what he said. And this is why

  I'm doing this. This is why I want to do this for you guys.

  He said this little girl, you know, this little girl was totally

  demon possessed. No, nobody thinks that, but he was totally demon possessed.

  And he, he prays and he tells it to come out,

  and the little girl said, I've never felt this free. Like,

  she didn't even know that she had something going on in there.

  And she's completely free. And she's like, my belly is soft.
• 19:41
  She had a spirit. And so I know people get really mad at
• 19:45
  broadcasts like this. I know you might have seen some nut
• 19:49
  jobs casting devils out, but the first time that I did it with
• 19:53
  this little boy, it cast the demon out. It grossed
• 19:56
  me out because the thing talked to me, and I was just like,
• 20:00
  I didn't even know what to think. So I'd never done that. And the— there
• 20:04
  was a film guy and he was trying to film the whole thing. Um,
• 20:09
  right. And let me tell you something, Nathan, you're dealing with a spirit.

  And the Lord spoke to me about that to help because I'm going to try
• 20:16
  to minister to some of them. And he said, Lisa, the same spirit that's causing
• 20:20
  them to hate you wants to destroy them.

  And, and Nathan, that is true. So I'm going to believe God that the
• 20:27
  Lord— maybe even you, Nathan, maybe God can help you to rise up and be
• 20:30
  one of the mighty men of God that can help and bless. But anyway,
• 20:32
  so this little girl didn't even know she had something on her and
• 20:36
  she went free. Um, and can I just say this too?

  And Marissa, I'm so glad you're on. I don't have time to answer,

  uh, insane people today. I'm trying to teach something from my heart,

  and I'm going to believe God that people will go free. So I'm not commenting

  to any haters. You're welcome to help me with my algorithm. And so I was

  just learning, and I was learning that when you cast the devil out,
• 20:57
  you'd expect a mighty uproar of some kind. You know, that's what Paul found.

  That's what Jesus found, you know. He delivered the maniac of the devil and came

  back. There was 4,000 people down there wanting to hear him preach and teach.

  He had to feed the whole bunch. He kept them for supper that night.

  Yeah. And so when you deal with the demon power,
• 21:13
  it loses the people to come to Jesus. So I was learning, learning,
• 21:17
  accepting I hated it. See, I went back to the room and I said,

  I think I'll just go around with you, Brother Carter. I said, why does the
• 21:22
  devil never fight you? Well, he says, you know, I'm just a teacher and they
• 21:25
  don't fight teachers, they fight evangelists. I wish I was a teacher,
• 21:30
  but I wasn't. I was just an evangelist. I said, it won't ever happen anymore.

  This is enough. And I don't mean maybe. I said, did you know I scream?
• 21:37
  They can hear me a block away. He said, I'd like to hear that.
• 21:39
  I said, no, you won't ever hear it. It's awful. And I don't want to
• 21:42
  do that anymore. You got to understand, he was a— look at him. He's in
• 21:46
  a suit. This is 1988. Look at the man. Well,
• 21:49

  be restrained, and he said, my name is Legion. There was a boy who had

  But Jesus rebuked the foul spirit and he went free.

  a woman bent over and he called it a spirit whom— shouldn't

  Many were delivered at sunset. There was a gathering of demoniacs.

  Spirits that have names in the scripture is a spirit

  of infirmity in Luke 13:11. It causes physical bondage.

  associated with a physical affliction. There was a

  So what did Jesus do? Did Jesus minister medication?

  Did Jesus say you need a psychiatric ward? No, he rebuked the evil spirits,

  he commanded them to leave, he laid hands on them, he spoke

  with authority And people went free. Now in Matthew

  12:43, it said Jesus said an unclean spirit leaves a person,

  wanders in dry places, and then returns if,

  swept, or garnished. So some people were saying,

  you know, when you ask Jesus, you're just going to get attacked. And that's not

  true. When you ask Jesus Christ into your heart and

  and you accept Christ, then you get filled with the Holy Spirit and the

  enemies won't come for you. So that's how that works.

  All right, I want to go through some of these Bible verses. James 4:7.

  How do you protect yourself against demon spirits? Submit yourself to God,

  resist the devil, and he will flee. Well, if you're living a lifestyle that's

  against God— God says that marriage is between a man and a woman and

  you think it should be about something else— you're not submitted to God.

  If the Bible tells you not to be angry and you have fits of rage,

  you're no longer submitted to God. It's an open door to the demon.

  So these things open the door. But 1 John 4:4 says,

  center you can imagine. He went through several rehab centers. He had all

  but he still had— he felt rejected, he felt

  brokenhearted, he had anger issues, and that opened the demonic

  door and he couldn't go free. And he had many people pray for them.

  He's been in many churches. He told me that when he came to my church,

  he had already been to church after church and people prayed, but nobody apparently

  knew how to take authority over spirits, and nobody knew or

  had any power. You see, there are many, many, many Christians

  out there today and they are powerless because they don't even half believe there is

  a devil. So you have no power and you can't get people free.

  And it breaks my heart. You got people like, you know, the guy that just

  sliced and diced himself. I mean, he needs to encounter somebody that

  knows the truth of God's word. But I will tell you something. Sometimes you tell

  people God's truth and they still won't listen to you. Sometimes you tell people,

  be careful, don't do this, don't do that. And they run and do it anyway.

  And you can't help someone like that. And I'm not chasing people down. Like that.

  And let me tell you how to protect yourself against the devil. I don't care

  what comes at you. I don't care what happens to you. Stay close

  to God. Stay in the Bible. Keep praying.

  Don't give up. Love the Lord. Stick on broadcasts

  that, you know, help you. All right, how do you recognize a spirit

  of bondage? We're going to go through this quick. The Bible teaches that demon spirits

  are real and they can affect the body, mind, emotions,

  behavior, speech. But it doesn't say that every sickness

  is a mental struggle. So Jesus encountered both people who are physically sick

  and emotionally distressed, people who are demon-possessed or

  oppressed, people whose sickness was directly connected to an

  evil spirit. In John 10:10, it says, the thief comes to steal,

  K-I-L-L, and destroy, but I came that you might

  have life and life more abundant. So the devil's mission is

  to steal your peace, your joy, your truth, your identity,

  To, to get rid of hope in your life, to destroy families, to destroy

  your mind, your body, a person's relationship with
• 46:51
  God. But Jesus said, I came that you would have life.

  Saul was tormented, but it was God's will that he didn't have to have that.

  Satan entered Judas. You guys know that. Uh, let me read some of these Bible

  verses with you. In Mark 1:23,

  there was a man in the synagogue and he had an unclean spirit and he

  cried out. Let us alone! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth?

  Have you come to destroy— it's funny, they hate Jesus of Nazareth—

  have you come to destroy us before our time? And Jesus rebuked

  him and said, hold your peace. In other words, he said, shut up,

  hold your peace, and come out. When the unclean spirit came out,

  it cried with a loud voice. They were all amazed,

  and they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? What new doctrine

  is this? With authority he commands unclean spirits

  and they obey him. That's in the Bible.

  So what was the spirit doing? Hiding in a religious environment,

  crying out, disrupting worship, tormenting and resisting

  Jesus. What did Jesus do? He rebuked the spirit and commanded it to leave.

  Okay, what about the encounter with Legion? This is

  what you and I just witnessed in real time across all

  social media platforms with the man Perez Hilton. This is exactly what

  happened in Mark 5:19. They came to the other side of the sea.

  When they came out of the ship, there was a man in the tombs with

  an unclean spirit. He had his dwelling among the tombs.

  Nobody could bind him, not even with chains, because oftentimes

  he would break them and he would throw people apart, and nobody could tame

  him. Day and night he was in the mountains, in the

  tombs, crying and cutting

  That's not a— that's mental health.

  don't know if his family's watching. Probably not. But if there's anybody watching

  that knows the man that just did this to himself, if he doesn't

  get a spiritual person— if he doesn't get a spiritual

  He cried out with a loud voice and said, what do we have to do

  with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you that you would

  not torment me. You know, everyone's worried about the devil tormenting them. They're always talking

  about that. But when the devil encounters Jesus, he says, don't torment me.

  So if you are a Christian, if you are full

  of the power of God, the devil is afraid of you.

  He's afraid you're going to torment him, not the other way around.

  That's the Bible. Jesus gave them leave, and the unclean

  spirit went out and entered into the swine. So there you go.

  They were— what was the spirit doing? Listen to this. These are tactics of

  the devil. If you find yourself under any of these, you are under the sway

  or the influence of a demon spirit. Are you ready?

  Demon spirits drove that man to isolation.

  of the devil is to isolate a Christian. Go off by yourself. I don't want

  want to hear the word. You, you're under the sway of a spirit and

  you got to watch yourself because you'll be eaten. Literally, you'll be eaten alive.

  So don't do that. Drives him into isolation,

  makes him live among dead things. He living around a bunch of dead people

  that don't believe God and all that stuff. It causes people to self-harm.

  There's all types of self-harm. There are people that do this,

  there are people that medicate with drugs, there's all kinds of stuff that

  you harm yourself. That's a demonic thing. Um, it produced uncontrolled

  crying. Man, I had that before.

  I was under an oppression and I couldn't stop crying. I had that.

  It gave him unnatural strength. It destroyed relationships.

  It took his peace. So what did Jesus do?

  After the deliverance, the man was clothed, sitting peaceful,

  and in his right mind. And then he testified.

  she was raised up. The spirit was binding her physically, bending her body,

  I know Christians like to think that medicine will fix everything, but that's

  false. You cannot fix a devil with medicine. It's impossible. The medicine

  might be able to dull the body or dull the mind, but it cannot remove

  the spirit. There is only one way to remove a spirit,
