SBI, Startale and BlackRock explore linking tokenized funds with JPYSC
SBI Holdings, Startale Group, BlackRock Financial Management, and BlackRock Japan have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore connecting tokenized money market funds with JPYSC, SBI's Japanese yen-denominated stablecoin. The firms plan to assess the required technology and infrastructure, potential business models and distribution opportunities, and relevant regulatory developments. They say the collaboration will be open to financial institutions and businesses in Japan and internationally.
