- 0:00SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: This is Pastor Millie, and one more day that the Lord has given us.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: And I'm here.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Let's get together.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Let's get our mind away from all the noise of this world.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: And let's go to our secret place with the Lord, that place where you can feel the breeze of the Holy Spirit just moving you and making you feel that you're good enough.
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I thank God for all those who continuously tell me that these messages are blessing their lives.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: This is the sole purpose as to why I do these messages.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Because I know sometimes we just gotta get away and hear a word that will motivate us and make us feel like we can continue to go on strong.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: And today I want to talk about your peace.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Your peace.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Because your peace matters more than anything else and all the loud voices of this world.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we're so eager to want to do everything people want us to do.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we think we're failing people because we tend to believe that in order to find that peace, we gotta please everyone.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: No, I want you to think about you right now.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: I want you to think about how you're feeling deep inside, deep inside that no one else knows but God.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: And I want you to know that God wants you to protect your peace, to make sure above everything, you protect yourself.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: You know, and we're gonna go to the word of God, and I want to read the word because the word is the only thing that can transform, that can renew, and that can make you feel that the healing is happening inside of you.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Maybe healing from the past, maybe something that's making you feel guilty, and you keep blaming yourself when it's not even your fault.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: I want you to ease down all that noise and come to the secret place where God is gonna speak to you through my lips in Jesus' name.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: And let's go to the word of God, Philippians chapter 4, verse 6 to 7.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: It says, Be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your bequest be known unto God.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: It is a peace that no one can give you.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: It is a peace that only comes from God when you surrender your all.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: And it says, be careful.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: So, and everything by what?
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Prayer.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: Pray about things, even the little minor things that you think God is not hearing.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: God is so attentive to your needs, and all you have to do is pray.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And it says, and the peace of God, not the peace of man, not the peace of anyone else, but the peace of God, which passes all understanding.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Doesn't matter what, it doesn't matter who or understanding, shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: You know, it's good to go to your secret place that maybe is your car, maybe it's your room, maybe it's in a place that in a closet, and talk to God.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: You know why?
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Because peace is valuable.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: We have to know that peace is so valuable, especially in this loud world that we're living, that everybody wants to be heard, everybody wants to be right, nobody wants to be wrong.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And don't get me wrong, but there's things that we are afraid to do because there's things sometimes we're afraid to just say no.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we're afraid to walk away, sometimes we're afraid to silence the mouth of the liars.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: We'd be afraid, but God wants you to let all that go.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And remember this always.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: Not every situation deserves permission to take it from you.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: Some people spend their days explaining themselves, defending themselves, and responding to every opinion.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: Some people eventually become exhausted because you want to be right, you want to be heard, and at the end of the day, ask yourself, does it really matter?
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: Let God fight for you, let God vindicate you, let God be the one to show up for you and be still and receive that peace that comes from God.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we say, why is it that God is not answering me?
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: I talk to you.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: I pray, Father God.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: I'm praying without seizing, God.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: But what's going on?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: What's going on is that you may be praying, but you're still trying to defend yourself.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: You may be praying, but you're still attending to every argument that doesn't deserve your attention.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: You're probably praying, but yet you're doubting somehow.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And God wants a complete surrender where you pray, take your mind at peace, the peace that comes from God.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: You know, sometimes defending ourselves and and trying to explain everything, and sometimes even fighting against everything that rises up against us sooner or later will make your spirit become exhausted.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: You'll become so exhausted, it will drain you, it will make you feel like you can't go on.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: That's why, you know, you have to learn how to choose your battles.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: There's some things not worth fighting for, there's some things that we just gotta let it go.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Make changes because I know changes can hurt.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: I believe that everything you do over 21 days, you become used to it.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: You start feeling better, and you can do it and continue to do it.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: There's things, there's people, there's situations.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: You just gotta learn how to cut and continue going forward.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Pray.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Pray at all times.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: Pray for them.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: Pray for whatever it is, but continue forward with Christ.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: That's the only way you will receive a change of mind, a change of heart, new strength, new motivation to do different things.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: You know, there was a survey that said that some people that seen changes in their lives for the good were the ones that decided to make the changes, to say, you know what?
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna cut loose, I'm gonna continue my life, because at the end of the day, it is only you and God.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: People will get tired, people will give up on you, but God will never ever give up on you.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: He will be with you at all times.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Um, so in this story that I'm talking to you about, it's more like uh to me, is a story of my life, story of your life, because we all go through things, we all go through um motions of emotions, which is normal as a human being.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: But how do you keep yourself at peace to just continue on, continue on, and before you know, everything that happened becomes just a past memory.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: How surrendering your all to God and receiving the peace of God.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Action speaks louder than words.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: When you actually say, I'm gonna get this done, and you do it, that's when you see the hand of God.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: So in this Bible verse of Philippians chapter 4, verse 6 to 7, if you have a chance, I want you to look it up on your phone, on your Bible, and read it.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: Whenever you're feeling some kind of way and you're feeling that your mind is under attack, receive that peace.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: Because in this Bible verse, we see that Paul tells us to bring everything to God and what?
- 9:14SPEAKER_00: In prayer.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: God's peace can guard our hearts and mind, even while the situations around us is still unresolved.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Even though if it's not resolved, if you don't see what you want to see, God is the one handling the situation.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: You know, and protecting your peace does not mean that you're avoiding every difficult conversation.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: It doesn't mean that.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Sometimes truth must be spoken, but wisdom, the wisdom of God, that wisdom that you can only find through prayers and supplication, that wisdom that only comes from a heart surrendered to God.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Wisdom teaches us when to speak, when to pray, and when to walk away from an argument that is not producing anything good in your life.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: You know, when you seek God in prayer, you know the good thing about us is that we got something given to us that it was such a beautiful gift from God, that even in our mind, we don't have to speak the words, but in our mind we can carry on a huge conversation with God when no one has the authority to know what you're thinking but God.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: And we can speak to God, talk to God when we see something rising up against us, talk to God.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: You don't need to understand, sorry, everyone.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: You do not need everyone to understand you as well in order to obey God.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: If your heart is right before God, you can stop living under the pressure of constantly trying to prove yourself, okay, because that's the problem.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: Sometimes we have the need that we want to prove ourselves.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: You don't have to prove yourself to no one but the one that knows your heart, knows the intentions of your heart, and knows who you are.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: So we have to stop trying.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: And I say we because all of us are are guilty of this.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: We feel the need, we have to defend ourselves, we feel the need, we have to win every argument, we feel the need that we have to explain ourselves to people who will not understand you no matter how much you try to defend yourself.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Continue going, continue strong in the things of God, pray, have a secret relationship like no other, with the one who can control the world, control the situation, change your mind, change your heart.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And if you come to think about it, even in the Bible, we see many stories within families, within people, within friends.
- 12:29SPEAKER_00: Look at Job in the Bible when he went through so much, and yet at the end of it all, his friends, what did the friends do?
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: The friends doubt it.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: The friends try to make him feel worse than actually making him feel better.
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: So in the Bible, it speaks about many things that happened so that today we can understand that it will happen to us, but the one that wins the fight continues to be with us.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: May God bless you, may God guard your heart at all times, and know that every day is a new day.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I want to give you this prayer.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: I want to say this prayer for you, and I want it to penetrate so deep in your heart that you find that peace of God.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Almighty God, in the name of Jesus, Heavenly Father, I come to you this morning for all those who are tuning in that may come across this message, Father God.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Guard their hearts and their minds, mighty God.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: Give them wisdom, Father God, to know when to speak, when to remain quiet.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: Help them refuse, mighty God, unnecessary conflict.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: For them to choose peace, Father God.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: The peace that you have given them.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' mighty name I pray.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: God bless you, and I'll see you soon in our secret place with Pastor Millie.
