- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Wr Hey, another beautiful day. Well, it'll be a little
- 0:14Speaker 3: rain later on. Now, the problem is there's going to
- 0:16Speaker 3: be a rain. There's rain in the forecast for tomorrow morning.
- 0:19Speaker 3: That's when the big Knicks Parade takes place. It'll be
- 0:23Speaker 3: at ten o'clock. The Knicks Parade is expected to draw
- 0:27Speaker 3: one million people. This sounds like trouble a million people
- 0:36Speaker 3: in Mom Donnie world. I don't know. And we like
- 0:40Speaker 3: the police commissioner, but he's got no experience in this
- 0:43Speaker 3: sort of stuff. I don't know. This could be to
- 0:48Speaker 3: a million people. You might need a little rain tomorrow.
- 0:51Speaker 3: If things go badly, the parade will be fine. It's
- 0:54Speaker 3: just when it's done, like the next game. When it's over,
- 0:57Speaker 3: sometimes some of these people go crazy, So little rain
- 1:00Speaker 3: might help afterwards. They used to say in the good
- 1:03Speaker 3: old days, rain is the best policeman. It kind of
- 1:06Speaker 3: gets the criminals to go home. But they'll end at
- 1:11Speaker 3: City Hall at about eleven thirty or so, and then
- 1:16Speaker 3: they're going to do the big ceremony. And apparently it
- 1:19Speaker 3: hasn't really been announced yet. Alicia Keys will sing new
- 1:23Speaker 3: York state of mind. At the ceremony, this will be
- 1:26Speaker 3: pretty pretty good. There are tickets, there are only a million.
- 1:30Speaker 3: People will line the parade route, which is quite long,
- 1:33Speaker 3: but at City Hall Plaza there's only room for six hundred.
- 1:37Speaker 3: They're holding a lottery to give away some of those tickets.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I think you only got about another half hour to
- 1:42Speaker 3: get into that lottery and possibly win tickets. So big
- 1:47Speaker 3: by the way, we'll bring it to you live. I
- 1:50Speaker 3: don't care how much you love the Knicks. I wouldn't
- 1:51Speaker 3: go there with the million people there. Who knows what's
- 1:54Speaker 3: going to happen, who knows what could break out there.
- 1:57Speaker 3: But if you stay home or wherever you are, you
- 1:59Speaker 3: can live listen to it. The parade there's really nothing
- 2:02Speaker 3: to listen to. It's just throwing ticker tape. There's no
- 2:05Speaker 3: such thing as ticker tape anymore. It's this artificial fake
- 2:11Speaker 3: ticker tape that they make. But the ceremony will be
- 2:14Speaker 3: the best part. The speech is the singing the songs.
- 2:16Speaker 3: But we'll bring you that live, probably around eleven thirty tomorrow,
- 2:20Speaker 3: which another added benefit. I can get done early like
- 2:24Speaker 3: that too, So be listening here tomorrow. We'll bring it
- 2:27Speaker 3: to you live the whole ceremony, Alicia Keys live and
- 2:30Speaker 3: you never know who's going to show up at that
- 2:33Speaker 3: ceremony to speak talk about the Knicks. It is the
- 2:36Speaker 3: biggest thing in New York. It is unbelievable. The Yankees
- 2:39Speaker 3: are on a winning streak. Nobody even notices. The Yankees
- 2:42Speaker 3: used to be the center of sports attention in New York.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Now nobody pays any to. It's all Nicks, all the time.
- 2:49Speaker 3: So big day tomorrow. Hey, Gilgo Beach monster is going
- 2:54Speaker 3: to be sentenced a little later this morning, probably in
- 2:57Speaker 3: the next hour. It's expected it'll get obviously life in prison,
- 3:01Speaker 3: no chance of parole. But the only question they're waiting
- 3:04Speaker 3: to see how many life sentences he gets. He's admitted
- 3:08Speaker 3: to eight murders. Just a crazy looking monster of a guy.
- 3:14Speaker 3: You know, they were looking for that Gilgi Beach killer.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I remember for years they had no idea who it was.
- 3:19Speaker 3: They couldn't find him. And then some new guys took
- 3:22Speaker 3: over the investigation. They were very smart. They were able
- 3:25Speaker 3: to track down It was an unusual make of a car.
- 3:29Speaker 3: They narrowed it down only six people own one. They
- 3:32Speaker 3: found one in this neighborhood, And well, how can you
- 3:36Speaker 3: be sure who it will? Oh yeah, to do is
- 3:37Speaker 3: a look at this guy. I'm sure as soon as
- 3:38Speaker 3: they got a look at this guy. I mean, if
- 3:42Speaker 3: you were doing a movie about a crazed serial killer
- 3:44Speaker 3: and this guy showed up at the casting call, you'd
- 3:47Speaker 3: hand him the part right on the spot. So he'll
- 3:50Speaker 3: be sentenced at any moment. So the Iran Deal a
- 3:54Speaker 3: lot of false news out there. We're gonna give him
- 3:56Speaker 3: three hundred billion, totally false, completely false the number. It's
- 4:00Speaker 3: not three hundred billion, and we're not giving them anything.
- 4:03Speaker 3: It's not us money. It's their money, which we will
- 4:06Speaker 3: put into a fund and it will be released to
- 4:09Speaker 3: them bit by bit if they know, based on performance,
- 4:13Speaker 3: based on sticking to the agreement. Now, nobody likes this
- 4:17Speaker 3: Iran deal. Everybody hates it. Nobody's seen it, nobody really
- 4:20Speaker 3: knows what's in it. There's supposedly Bloomberg supposedly has published it,
- 4:25Speaker 3: Axios has revealed the twelve points. Nobody knows if any
- 4:29Speaker 3: of this is accurate stuff or if it's real. Now
- 4:32Speaker 3: the good news. They keep trying to Obama, the Democrats
- 4:36Speaker 3: keep trying to compare this to the Obama deal. No
- 4:41Speaker 3: comparison at all, none, zero, totally different deals. First of all,
- 4:46Speaker 3: the Obama deal was one hundred and fifty nine pages.
- 4:50Speaker 3: He made the mistake most presidents make. They let the
- 4:53Speaker 3: State Department, they let the idiots with the briefing books
- 4:57Speaker 3: put the deal together. It was one hundred and fifty
- 4:59Speaker 3: nine pages of fine print. The Trump deal is a
- 5:03Speaker 3: page and a half. It's very clear, there's no fine print.
- 5:08Speaker 3: It's got all kinds of things in it. Most important
- 5:11Speaker 3: thing is there absolute pledge. Now we don't know if
- 5:15Speaker 3: they ever stick to anything, but the pledge to never
- 5:18Speaker 3: build a nuclear weapon, buy a nuclear weapon, acquire a
- 5:21Speaker 3: nuclear weapon of any kind. Also, they will turn over
- 5:28Speaker 3: all their enriched uranium, which we will destroy. It may
- 5:32Speaker 3: involve the International Atomic Energy Agency. They may come in
- 5:36Speaker 3: and do it with us, but we'll go in there
- 5:38Speaker 3: and destroy it in place. That's something we've done before,
- 5:42Speaker 3: we know how to do it. Then, this basically, it's
- 5:46Speaker 3: not the greatest deal, but it's basically punting. This will
- 5:50Speaker 3: go for sixty days, give them time to work out
- 5:52Speaker 3: something even better. The US would allow Iran to resume
- 5:56Speaker 3: oil sales. That's the other big part. Of the deal,
- 5:59Speaker 3: the Straight of Moose will open completely open. There'll be
- 6:02Speaker 3: no tolls, no fees, no anything, which would help Iran
- 6:06Speaker 3: start selling oil again, which could get their economy actually
- 6:10Speaker 3: started again. The US will lift the naval blockades, but well,
- 6:17Speaker 3: our ships will remain there to resume that blockade any
- 6:20Speaker 3: second we need to. US and their allies would stop
- 6:24Speaker 3: fighting across the region. It goes on. Iran, Oman, Gulf
- 6:31Speaker 3: states would negotiate new shipping and maritime security arrangements for
- 6:34Speaker 3: the Gulf. Now here's the other key thing. We depend
- 6:38Speaker 3: on this well wet, we don't use any of the oil,
- 6:40Speaker 3: but other countries depend on the straight Ohorn Moose to
- 6:43Speaker 3: get that oil out of there. So one reason for
- 6:46Speaker 3: all this stalling is we're gonna get set up so
- 6:50Speaker 3: that we never depend on the straight Ohrn Moose again.
- 6:53Speaker 3: There would be other ways to move oil out of
- 6:55Speaker 3: there without having to use the Straight. It would require pipelines.
- 7:00Speaker 3: It's expected to be somewhere in this pipelines will be built.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It's the other countries, it's Dubai, it's Cutter, it's Oman,
- 7:08Speaker 3: it's the sal East that need to move that oil
- 7:11Speaker 3: so instead of having to get it out by the
- 7:13Speaker 3: straight horn moose. We'll start building pipelines and other ways
- 7:19Speaker 3: to ship it in other directions so oil can get
- 7:22Speaker 3: out without the straight of horn moose. That's important for
- 7:24Speaker 3: the future. Are you saying, well, you can blow up
- 7:27Speaker 3: a pipeline, Yeah, you can, but you can fix it
- 7:29Speaker 3: pretty fast too. You can patch it up pretty fast.
- 7:32Speaker 3: President Trump on all this.
- 7:35Speaker 2: What's happening is that at an appropriate time, there's no
- 7:38Speaker 2: rush at all. We have cameras from space on it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We know everybody that goes there, which is like nobody.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah, we can watch all the nuclear material.
- 7:48Speaker 2: The B two bombers hit it, the entire mountain collapsed
- 7:51Speaker 2: inside it. It's a very tough excavation. Nobody else can
- 7:55Speaker 2: do it but US and probably China. They have the equipment.
- 7:58Speaker 2: We have the equipment. We're in no rush, but we
- 8:01Speaker 2: get it, and when we get it will destroy it.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, all the nuclear material will be destroyed, much of
- 8:06Speaker 3: it under that rubble. You know, you got to remember
- 8:10Speaker 3: President Trump, the greatest foreign policy president we've ever seen.
- 8:14Speaker 3: When it comes to the Mid East, from you know,
- 8:18Speaker 3: killing Solomony to blowing up destroying Iran's nuclear reactors to
- 8:23Speaker 3: all of this nobody's ever had the nerve to do
- 8:25Speaker 3: all this. Now a lot of that dust is under
- 8:29Speaker 3: the mountain where we destroyed the nuclear reactors, so it's
- 8:32Speaker 3: an incredible engineering feat to get to it. But we
- 8:35Speaker 3: can do that, that's what he's talking about. But it
- 8:37Speaker 3: looks like Friday they'll sign it in Switzerland.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I'd like to get a formal setting first before we
- 8:43Speaker 2: do that, but I have no problem with that. It's
- 8:45Speaker 2: a good document. He's what it says, Iran will never
- 8:49Speaker 2: have a nuclear weapon. That's where it says it won't
- 8:51Speaker 2: have one to buy to develop. They will not have
- 8:55Speaker 2: a nuclear weapon. And I would say that's about ninety
- 8:58Speaker 2: nine point nine percent of what I want it.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah. And also President Trump said yesterday that he never
- 9:05Speaker 3: cared about regime change there, that was never the thing.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Eh doesn't quite pass the smell of this, but but
- 9:15Speaker 3: he makes a good point. We really did get regime
- 9:17Speaker 3: change in some ways. I mean, the whole leadership was
- 9:21Speaker 3: killed immediately first day. The fourteen top leaders of Iran
- 9:24Speaker 3: were blown up the first day of the war. And
- 9:27Speaker 3: then there was a second group that took over and
- 9:30Speaker 3: then we killed them too. So we've had regime change
- 9:34Speaker 3: twice in Iran. This third group that's now running things,
- 9:38Speaker 3: he says, they're easier to deal with. They're a bit
- 9:40Speaker 3: more rational, and that's why the less need for regime change,
- 9:44Speaker 3: because we really had it twice and apparently this third
- 9:47Speaker 3: group more rational. And also they saw what happened to
- 9:50Speaker 3: the first two leadership groups, so they're a little more
- 9:55Speaker 3: flexible after watching what happened to the first two groups. Hey,
- 10:00Speaker 3: the other big news, Oh well, actually it's one more clip.
- 10:04Speaker 3: The Obama deal that bore no resemblance to this. The
- 10:07Speaker 3: Obama deals. We just hand them money and they promised
- 10:10Speaker 3: not to use their nuclear weapons. The Obama deal did
- 10:12Speaker 3: nothing to get rid of the nuclear stuff, nothing at all.
- 10:15Speaker 2: This deal is a wall to a nuclear weapon. His
- 10:20Speaker 2: deal was a road to a nuclear weapon.
- 10:23Speaker 4: My deal.
- 10:24Speaker 2: They can't have a nuclear they get blown up. If
- 10:26Speaker 2: they have a nuclear weapon, they get blown up.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah, the Obama deal did nothing about taking their nuclear
- 10:32Speaker 3: materials stopping it. In fact, we just ended up sending
- 10:35Speaker 3: them money. They could, you know, spend more money on
- 10:39Speaker 3: nuclear stuff.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Hey.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I don't know why he did it, but well I
- 10:42Speaker 3: kind of do. Vice President Vance has a new book out,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and even the biggest publishers, their publicity departments are the
- 10:50Speaker 3: dumbest in the world. That's why you go out and
- 10:52Speaker 3: you hire most big authors, professional big authors that do
- 10:55Speaker 3: it all their life, hire their own publicists, because if
- 10:58Speaker 3: you depend on the twenty four year old knitwitz that
- 11:03Speaker 3: are working in the publicity department in the publishing house,
- 11:05Speaker 3: they just book you on anything and everything. They don't
- 11:07Speaker 3: even know what they're booking you on. I mean, listen,
- 11:09Speaker 3: I hear from them all the time, the suggesting guests
- 11:12Speaker 3: that would be totally inappropriate. Nobody would have. They have
- 11:16Speaker 3: no idea what they do. They just book you on everything.
- 11:19Speaker 3: The view. Vice president Vance went on that I think
- 11:22Speaker 3: he knows better. I think he wanted to do because
- 11:24Speaker 3: he knows it'll go viral. You got some good viral
- 11:26Speaker 3: clips out of there. Of course, they were attacking them
- 11:29Speaker 3: left and right, the fours a four or five women.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They all look the same, and they're all clucking away
- 11:37Speaker 3: and yelling and screaming. They're asking them the most loaded,
- 11:40Speaker 3: vicious attack questions, and as soon as he starts answering,
- 11:43Speaker 3: they're cutting him off, yelling at him. But he was
- 11:46Speaker 3: pretty good at it. He sit there and took it
- 11:47Speaker 3: near's a.
- 11:47Speaker 6: B Yes, Donald Trump, and he said this, he knew
- 11:50Speaker 6: Jeffrey Epstein back in the nineteen.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Yeah, of course they got to bring up Epstein. Now
- 11:54Speaker 3: we've seen the files, six million pages, pretty clear that
- 11:58Speaker 3: Donald Trump had known Jeffrey Epstein very early in the
- 12:00Speaker 3: good old days for a year or two, saw what
- 12:03Speaker 3: a creepy was, immediately cut him off, threw him out
- 12:06Speaker 3: of mar A Lago, called the police on him, and
- 12:08Speaker 3: for the last thirty years had nothing to do with
- 12:11Speaker 3: Jeffrey Epstein. And if you read the Epstein files, it's
- 12:14Speaker 3: pretty clear Epstein hated Donald Trump. They were bitter enemies.
- 12:18Speaker 3: You can see it all through the files. In fact,
- 12:21Speaker 3: many times you see Epstein plotting with that wormy little
- 12:24Speaker 3: Michael Wolf to try to bring down Trump. But of
- 12:27Speaker 3: course it's the view. They don't know what's going on.
- 12:30Speaker 3: They kept asking about Trump and Epstein.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Yes, Donald Trump, and he said this, he knew Jeffrey
- 12:34Speaker 6: Epstein back in the nineteen eighties. He also threw Jeffrey
- 12:37Speaker 6: Epstein out of his club when he found out it
- 12:38Speaker 6: was a creep and reported him to the police. That's
- 12:41Speaker 6: something that the media often misses when it reports the
- 12:43Speaker 6: story They tell the fact that they knew each other
- 12:45Speaker 6: in the eighties, which the President himself admits. They ignore
- 12:48Speaker 6: the fact that he knarcked on him to the police
- 12:50Speaker 6: and led ultimately to Jeffrey Epstein's downfall.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they also forget to mention that it was under
- 12:55Speaker 3: the Trump administration, first Trump administration, that Epstein got arrested
- 13:00Speaker 3: and charged. Now I know they Oh, look at here's
- 13:03Speaker 3: a picture of them together at a party. Yeah, look
- 13:05Speaker 3: at the picture. Trump looks like he's thirty eight years
- 13:08Speaker 3: old in the picture. Now, whoopy Goldberg keeps springing up.
- 13:12Speaker 3: They'll love to make it look whoop be Goldberg playing
- 13:15Speaker 3: the race card, trying to propel the myth that the
- 13:18Speaker 3: Trump administration is a racist And why did they take
- 13:22Speaker 3: all the black history off down They're trying to erase it.
- 13:27Speaker 3: You know what really happened when they came in there,
- 13:30Speaker 3: They found out that every department had web pages, websites,
- 13:34Speaker 3: Like the Pentagon had a website that was four thousand pages.
- 13:38Speaker 3: It had the history of the world, the history of America,
- 13:41Speaker 3: the history of the Holocaust, the history of slavery, the
- 13:44Speaker 3: history of this of this so part of the Trump
- 13:48Speaker 3: administration and Doze and all that was clean up these websites.
- 13:52Speaker 3: If you have If the Pentagon has a website, it
- 13:54Speaker 3: should just be the Pentagon website and Pentagon stuff. You know,
- 13:58Speaker 3: like if the Motor Vehicle Apartment as a website, all
- 14:01Speaker 3: it's supposed to be is all the information on the
- 14:04Speaker 3: Motor Vehicle Department click here. If you want to get
- 14:06Speaker 3: a driver's license, click here to find out how to
- 14:08Speaker 3: get a registration. That's all it should be. It doesn't
- 14:12Speaker 3: have to have thousands of pages of the history of
- 14:13Speaker 3: every car. So they cleaned up all these websites. The
- 14:16Speaker 3: Pentagon took down all that history and and just it
- 14:20Speaker 3: became a Pentagon website. You know, all the information you
- 14:24Speaker 3: need about the Pentagon click here. If you want to
- 14:27Speaker 3: take a tour click here. If you want to know
- 14:29Speaker 3: the hours, that's all it should be. So but New
- 14:33Speaker 3: York Times and others. He took down the They took
- 14:36Speaker 3: down all the black history, they took down the Holocau.
- 14:39Speaker 3: They just cleaned up the website. But here's Whoopi Goldberg.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And notice when Vance tries to answer, he just jumps
- 14:44Speaker 3: all over them.
- 14:44Speaker 7: So when you see, you know things, the amatil stuff
- 14:50Speaker 7: coming down or them doing all kinds of removal of
- 14:54Speaker 7: information of black heroes. How do you, how do you
- 15:00Speaker 7: how does that sit with you?
- 15:02Speaker 6: Well, what do you?
- 15:02Speaker 3: What exactly are you talking about?
- 15:04Speaker 6: Will be because you no, no, I want to I want
- 15:09Speaker 6: to know what.
- 15:12Speaker 7: So in a lot of the museums just there's so
- 15:19Speaker 7: many I just you know.
- 15:21Speaker 3: She didn't know what she's talking about. She's just repeating
- 15:23Speaker 3: a myth that was spread around by the Morning Joe types. Now,
- 15:26Speaker 3: remember there's high IQ shows, low IQ shows, Rachel Maddow.
- 15:30Speaker 3: That would be like a high i Q left wing show.
- 15:34Speaker 3: The View is a low IQ show, low IQ audience.
- 15:37Speaker 3: So whatever these clucking hens say, the audience cheers them.
- 15:41Speaker 3: They don't know anything about anything, but they love it.
- 15:44Speaker 3: This is actually vance, This is vance. Later in the day,
- 15:48Speaker 3: he then went on to do a million shows. He
- 15:51Speaker 3: was on the Five, he was on Guttfeld, he was
- 15:54Speaker 3: on anything he could go on. But later he was
- 15:57Speaker 3: asked about being on The View.
- 15:58Speaker 6: I expected them to be absolutely vicious, and they were
- 16:01Speaker 6: only a little bit vicious. It wasn't It wasn't as
- 16:04Speaker 6: bad as I thought it was going to be. Joy
- 16:06Speaker 6: Bayhar even said during the break, not joking.
- 16:09Speaker 3: She said, you know.
- 16:10Speaker 6: What, you're like pretty good for a Republican. I was like, whoa,
- 16:14Speaker 6: that is a way better compliment that I expected from
- 16:17Speaker 6: Joy Bayharr.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Anyway, we've got a lot to get to. We'll
- 16:20Speaker 3: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:24Speaker 3: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:28Speaker 3: zero seven ten.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Here's more of the Mark Simon Show on WR.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Let's take some calls eight hundred three to two one
- 16:40Speaker 3: zero seven ten. Let's go to Mara in Nevada. Mara,
- 16:43Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 16:45Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 16:45Speaker 8: Thank you for years of fun and entertainment and bringing
- 16:50Speaker 8: Vincent into my life.
- 16:51Speaker 9: Yeslood's nephew from.
- 16:53Speaker 3: The Old Nighbors, James Dolan, announced that a Rocky horror
- 16:57Speaker 3: show will be playing at the Skier.
- 17:00Speaker 4: We talk to each other every week.
- 17:05Speaker 3: We're on two different subjects here, but yeah, Rocky Horror
- 17:11Speaker 3: show come into the sphere. She's out there in Nevada,
- 17:14Speaker 3: Las Vegas. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert, how
- 17:19Speaker 3: you doing?
- 17:20Speaker 4: All right? Mark? And good morning? So Mark, I don't
- 17:23Speaker 4: know if you heard the news about Kathy hokel signed
- 17:26Speaker 4: and agreement where we're going to be getting electricity from
- 17:29Speaker 4: Canada hydro electric electricity, and her praise is that it's
- 17:33Speaker 4: clean electricity. First of all, we're going to be paying
- 17:36Speaker 4: more for that electricity would normal electricity, and we're not
- 17:41Speaker 4: even keeping our usolars circulating within our own come.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Well, yeah, this is going to be an issue that
- 17:46Speaker 3: probably brings her down if they ever have a debate.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Kathy Hochel and Andrew Cuomo drove the price of our
- 17:54Speaker 3: electricity and our energy way up. If you're wondering, my
- 17:58Speaker 3: electric bill used to be like one hundred dollars, why
- 18:00Speaker 3: at four hundred now that's because of Cuomo and Hokel.
- 18:03Speaker 3: That's from closing Indian Point, which was twenty five percent
- 18:06Speaker 3: of our energy. We are sitting on the largest supply
- 18:09Speaker 3: of natural gas in the world, and Hokel and Cuomo
- 18:14Speaker 3: refused to touch it. Natural gas is as clean as
- 18:18Speaker 3: could be. It would bring down the cost of energy.
- 18:20Speaker 3: We'd be overflowing with energy. It would just make the
- 18:24Speaker 3: revenue soar here in New York. And not only do
- 18:27Speaker 3: we not touch it because of a crazy green nonsense.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Not only do we not touch it, we go buy
- 18:32Speaker 3: it from Pennsylvania. We buy their natural gas while we
- 18:35Speaker 3: got tons of it right under us. It's absolutely Kathy
- 18:38Speaker 3: Hokel the dumbest energy policy ever in the history of dumb.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing,
- 18:48Speaker 3: good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 18:50Speaker 8: This constant drum beat of the whoopee Goldbergs of the
- 18:54Speaker 8: royal world. That Trump is in the White House a
- 18:57Speaker 8: bunch of racist homophobes, posterous. I mean, as a businessman,
- 19:02Speaker 8: just forget about what he's done as president.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Just as a.
- 19:03Speaker 8: Businessman, I guarantee any of these people that Trump is
- 19:07Speaker 8: employed more minorities and homosexuals than all of their all
- 19:11Speaker 8: of Hollywood and the View and all the shows come.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Not only did he, but you can go back and
- 19:16Speaker 3: check the record. Jesse Jackson twice flew to New York
- 19:18Speaker 3: to give him an award for the best minority hiring
- 19:22Speaker 3: of anybody in the field.
- 19:24Speaker 8: So exactly, and don't you think by now, after you know,
- 19:28Speaker 8: what is it eleven years that he's been, you know,
- 19:30Speaker 8: in office on and off, that there would have been
- 19:33Speaker 8: a group that they gathered of ex employees to say
- 19:36Speaker 8: what a biggot he was. Now you haven't heard of peep.
- 19:39Speaker 8: I mean, that would be the easiest go to.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You know, the rabble rousing method they could find and
- 19:44Speaker 3: they can't find it is the way that works. These
- 19:47Speaker 3: people have a lot of people have this Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 19:49Speaker 3: So if you're Morning Joe or The View, you just
- 19:52Speaker 3: spew all this nonsense about Trump, and those people love
- 19:55Speaker 3: it and you get nice ratings with it. You can
- 19:56Speaker 3: make money with it. It works as a business.
- 20:00Speaker 8: They never turned that tap off. It's amazing. And if
- 20:03Speaker 8: people fall for it, it's a shame.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Hey, if you can make a lot of money off it,
- 20:08Speaker 3: that's why they do it. It works for them. I
- 20:11Speaker 3: know it's terrible. Let's go to uh Linda in Long Island. Linda,
- 20:14Speaker 3: how you doing?
- 20:16Speaker 5: Hell are you?
- 20:18Speaker 3: No? It's deep, it's it's lower, it's I'm back, No,
- 20:21Speaker 3: it's how are you? How are you?
- 20:24Speaker 9: I have to practice some.
- 20:25Speaker 3: More, It's not it's how are you?
- 20:29Speaker 5: Okay? I do? I really will try to practice okay.
- 20:33Speaker 5: You know, I just wonder why to me, it sounds
- 20:36Speaker 5: so stupid. Why would the vice president reference the dumbest one,
- 20:42Speaker 5: the stupidest person.
- 20:43Speaker 9: They should have been listening to your show. They said
- 20:47Speaker 9: that Joyce Beehaw was fired because she was so dumb.
- 20:51Speaker 9: She never read anything, she never knew anything. They fighted her.
- 20:55Speaker 9: They I couldn't believe, and they put her on this show.
- 20:58Speaker 9: And I don't know why vice president would go on
- 21:01Speaker 9: yet to give them publicity. They should be up the
- 21:04Speaker 9: air the law.
- 21:06Speaker 3: No, listen, you got a Like I said before, there's
- 21:09Speaker 3: high IQ shows, there's low IQ shows. You gotta have
- 21:11Speaker 3: those low IQ shows. There's a place for them. There's
- 21:15Speaker 3: dumb people that want to watch that stuff. It's the
- 21:17Speaker 3: most low IQ show of all the view.
- 21:20Speaker 9: Yeah, give them publicity, Well why not?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Who cares? And it's a small it's a small audience anyway.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I think the only reason he did it he figured
- 21:30Speaker 3: it'll go viral, it'll mention the book a lot more.
- 21:33Speaker 3: You know, when you're the vice president. That's the same
- 21:36Speaker 3: thing with Biden. You're not making a lot of money.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I mean, he's a very wealthy guy. But if you
- 21:42Speaker 3: do a book, money comes flowing in. You to make
- 21:44Speaker 3: millions off a book. That's what Biden did when he
- 21:47Speaker 3: was vice president. Remember when we come back, Liz Peak,
- 21:51Speaker 3: the brilliant columnist, will be with us. Everybody hates this
- 21:54Speaker 3: Iran deal. Let's see what she thinks we'll get to
- 21:56Speaker 3: that next on seven to ten w R from the
- 22:01Speaker 3: w R Life Back Studios, Mark Simone, well, the great
- 22:06Speaker 3: columnist Liz Peak who you can read her at the
- 22:10Speaker 3: Foxnews dot com, of course at The Hill, and mostly
- 22:13Speaker 3: check out our website lizpeak dot com. Make sure you
- 22:16Speaker 3: follow on Twitter and all that stuff. Liz Peak. How
- 22:19Speaker 3: you doing?
- 22:20Speaker 1: I'm here? Can you hear I can hear you.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Now, I can hear you. Hey, everybody condemning this Iran
- 22:28Speaker 3: deal except one person, says NATO boss hails the Iran deal.
- 22:32Speaker 3: That worries me even more if he likes it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: You know, Mark, I was thinking about this just now
- 22:39Speaker 1: because the Wall Street Journal has a particularly damning article
- 22:42Speaker 1: out where they quote an awful lot of people have
- 22:46Speaker 1: a vested interest in this right. So who hates the
- 22:49Speaker 1: Iran deal? Let's start with the Obama people, because they
- 22:53Speaker 1: want to tell you that his deal was just as good.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Note to Mark Simone, it was not just as good.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And for one thing, we are now confronting an Iranian
- 23:03Speaker 1: regime handing them a deal when they are flat on
- 23:07Speaker 1: their back. Obama never did that. I mean, he let
- 23:10Speaker 1: the regime basically prosper gave him a lot of money,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and I spent yesterday kind of going through all the
- 23:16Speaker 1: evidence we have, and there's monumental evidence that Iran cheated
- 23:20Speaker 1: on their JCPOA, the twenty fifteen Obama deal from the
- 23:25Speaker 1: day for the first even before it was inked, they
- 23:28Speaker 1: were cheating on it. So all right, the Obama people
- 23:31Speaker 1: we should pay no attention to. All Right, the pro
- 23:35Speaker 1: Israel crowd is not one hundred percent happy because there
- 23:39Speaker 1: is every expectation that Israel is going to have to
- 23:44Speaker 1: step back from its attacks on Lebanon. But I think
- 23:49Speaker 1: at the end of the day, everyone also recognizes that
- 23:51Speaker 1: if Hesbela attacks Israel, they will respond. So I really
- 23:55Speaker 1: don't take that very seriously. I don't mean to suggest
- 23:59Speaker 1: that Israel should not be a partner in this.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Of course they.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Should be, and they have been, and I think going
- 24:06Speaker 1: forward they know that we will have their back under
- 24:09Speaker 1: President Trump. Then there's the pro Iran faction, and there
- 24:14Speaker 1: are some of those people, and I really mean the
- 24:16Speaker 1: people who are very invested in the people of Iran
- 24:20Speaker 1: and who wanted to see regime change. You know, Mark,
- 24:24Speaker 1: at the end of the day, regime change has to
- 24:26Speaker 1: come in Iran from the people. Every time the United
- 24:30Speaker 1: States has stepped in, with the possible exception of Venezuela
- 24:35Speaker 1: and change the top leadership of a country, it has
- 24:39Speaker 1: not fared well. So I think in this case, what
- 24:43Speaker 1: is a possible right spot or bright outlook is that, yes,
- 24:49Speaker 1: we work with the golf countries to kind of get
- 24:52Speaker 1: Iran back on its feet, because a completely devastated Iran,
- 24:59Speaker 1: which is what it is now, is really a source
- 25:01Speaker 1: of instability, not a source of stability. But increasingly have
- 25:07Speaker 1: involvements with the Iranian people, the Iranian government, and rating
- 25:10Speaker 1: companies that probably that may or may not preclude a
- 25:15Speaker 1: reversion to the mean, which the mean in Iran is
- 25:19Speaker 1: just NonStop warfare against all of its neighbors that cannot
- 25:22Speaker 1: be tolerated. It cannot be tolerated that they control the
- 25:25Speaker 1: Strait of Hormuz. I think Trump knows that he won't
- 25:28Speaker 1: allow that. But meanwhile, the world needs oil, and I
- 25:32Speaker 1: think he really wants this to happen so that the
- 25:35Speaker 1: strait is opened and the oil supply resumes.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah. He also pointed out it's not fair to say
- 25:42Speaker 3: there's been no regime change. In the first day he
- 25:44Speaker 3: killed the whole leadership, all fourteen people. There was a
- 25:47Speaker 3: second group of leaders. He then killed them. We're on
- 25:49Speaker 3: the third group. So that is a little regime change,
- 25:52Speaker 3: isn't it.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with you one hundred percent. And you know,
- 25:56Speaker 1: people were saying, oh my gosh, he's lauding the current group. Well,
- 26:01Speaker 1: the current group could be like Delsi Rodriguez. I don't
- 26:04Speaker 1: know anything about them really, but where they figure. You
- 26:07Speaker 1: know what, A I want to survive personally, I don't
- 26:10Speaker 1: really want to get killed by the United States and
- 26:13Speaker 1: Israel and.
- 26:14Speaker 5: B You know.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The way to do that is to possibly work with them.
- 26:18Speaker 1: And by the way, if it helps our country, it
- 26:21Speaker 1: helps the people, my future is more secure. I mean,
- 26:25Speaker 1: there is a scenario here where the people that Trump
- 26:29Speaker 1: is now saying are pragmatic, et cetera. Maybe they are
- 26:33Speaker 1: in survival mode and they know what they have to
- 26:36Speaker 1: do to survive. So I agree with you.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Yeah. And this is not the end of This is
- 26:41Speaker 3: not the final chapter. This is a middle right. Yeah, Hey,
- 26:45Speaker 3: I haven't talked to you since Elon Musk became a trillionaire.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Why do they get so mad at him on the left?
- 26:52Speaker 3: Do they believe that he took the money from somebody else.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Why are they so ad?
- 26:55Speaker 1: That's the thing. It's a zero sum group, right. If
- 26:59Speaker 1: Elon must make a dollar, somebody else loses a dollar,
- 27:02Speaker 1: which actually goes to the fact that they fundamentally don't
- 27:05Speaker 1: understand capitalism and the way it works. Elon Musk has
- 27:10Speaker 1: created wealth, He has created companies out of nothing that
- 27:14Speaker 1: all of a sudden become worth a great deal of money.
- 27:17Speaker 1: That doesn't take away anything from the Hispanic day laborer
- 27:21Speaker 1: who can't buy who's having a hard time buying bread
- 27:25Speaker 1: and coffee right now, right, I mean, there is no
- 27:28Speaker 1: connection there. What really galls me Elizabeth Warren is out
- 27:33Speaker 1: there saying, oh, he's a trillionaire three hundred billion dollars
- 27:38Speaker 1: with solve homelessness in America.
- 27:40Speaker 4: No, when we have a.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Federal budget of seven trillion dollars, If Elon Musk is
- 27:45Speaker 1: corrupt because he's got one trillion, how about the federal
- 27:48Speaker 1: government having seven trillion and doing very little that most
- 27:52Speaker 1: Americans think is really terrific, including not solving homelessness. So
- 27:57Speaker 1: I think all this chatter on the left politics of envy.
- 28:02Speaker 1: They know that they can kind of gin up a
- 28:04Speaker 1: lot of again, envy amongst people who also would like
- 28:10Speaker 1: to have a trillion dollars. They don't understand how much
- 28:12Speaker 1: did it. Must did it because he created these marvelous companies.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Not only by the way. They used to love Elon
- 28:18Speaker 1: must because he put EVS on the map, something that
- 28:20Speaker 1: the left really really wanted to happen. But then they
- 28:23Speaker 1: began to hate him because he didn't use union labor,
- 28:26Speaker 1: which kind of shows you that yin and yang of
- 28:29Speaker 1: leftist priorities. But then he also created Neuralink, which gives
- 28:33Speaker 1: hope to people who are paralyzed that they may somehow
- 28:37Speaker 1: have productive lives going forward. Obviously starlink is it dominates
- 28:43Speaker 1: global satellite communications and has been very influential in Ukraine
- 28:47Speaker 1: surviving the attack from Russia and other geopolitical events also.
- 28:53Speaker 1: And then of course SpaceX is just an amazing thing.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I mean, he conceptualized the reusable rock concept and made
- 29:01Speaker 1: it a reality, and it wasn't easy with three failures
- 29:04Speaker 1: and finally, you know, down to survival mode, they got
- 29:08Speaker 1: the fourth one in the sky. So I give him
- 29:11Speaker 1: just enormous credit. And yeah, he's made a lot of money.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Good for him, that's what's supposed to happen in America,
- 29:17Speaker 1: and frankly, Mark, thank god he came to America and
- 29:19Speaker 1: he's not still in South Africa. Aren't we happy he's here?
- 29:23Speaker 4: Yes?
- 29:24Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's well said. We got this crazy mom
- 29:28Speaker 3: Donnie as mayor, and now we see running for assembly
- 29:32Speaker 3: legislat we show all these crazy, kooky Mom Donnie types,
- 29:35Speaker 3: he's endorsing them. What are we going to do about
- 29:38Speaker 3: this whole new crop of nuts that we got running.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Well, it's a good question. I don't think their appeal
- 29:43Speaker 1: goes much beyond really progressive blue cities like New York
- 29:48Speaker 1: and LA. Thankfully they have had, you know, primaries across
- 29:52Speaker 1: the country where the progressive candidate lost out. But here
- 29:56Speaker 1: in New York, Mom Donnie really is sort of Astoni
- 30:00Speaker 1: Wish is lending his weight and popularity to electing someone
- 30:05Speaker 1: that honestly really should not be electable at all. I
- 30:08Speaker 1: do love the fact that these people, including this one,
- 30:11Speaker 1: comes out of nowhere and oh gosh, it turns out
- 30:15Speaker 1: that really they've said hateful, racist, anti American things up
- 30:20Speaker 1: until like two years ago on social media. But then
- 30:24Speaker 1: they apologize and they take down their social media sites,
- 30:27Speaker 1: and we're supposed to think what that they didn't mean
- 30:30Speaker 1: it that that was fake and now this is a
- 30:32Speaker 1: real person running for office. It's preposterous. So look, time
- 30:38Speaker 1: will eventually get rid of these people, I believe, because
- 30:41Speaker 1: they're not going to really produce anything of value for voters.
- 30:44Speaker 1: What doesn't shock me a little bit is the Democratic establishment.
- 30:48Speaker 1: The person this radical leftist is running against is the
- 30:53Speaker 1: share of the Hispanic caucus. How can that be a
- 30:56Speaker 1: really popular thing with the Hispanic vote in New York
- 31:01Speaker 1: I can't imagine. Esbiot is the four term congressman at
- 31:07Speaker 1: risk here and again not believes he shared the Hispanic caucus.
- 31:10Speaker 1: He's a very popular guy in Congress. So where is
- 31:13Speaker 1: where Chuck Schumer and Hapim Jeffries and all these people?
- 31:16Speaker 1: Why aren't they weighing in? Because they're scared to death?
- 31:19Speaker 1: I mean, how pathetic is that? The Democrats? We you know,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Republicans have some problems inner party warfare going on. Boy,
- 31:27Speaker 1: the Democrats are really big time fighting each other, and
- 31:31Speaker 1: we're going to see it on steroids as we approach
- 31:34Speaker 1: not just the midterms but twenty twenty eight.
- 31:36Speaker 3: Well, Well, Liz Peak brilliant as always. Now the best
- 31:40Speaker 3: place to read your columns, Foxnews dot Com, in The
- 31:43Speaker 3: Hill dot com.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Well, everything's aggregated at lispeak dot com. So I really
- 31:47Speaker 1: encourage people to visit my website.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Please.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and there's a lot of good stuff up there.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Just go to lizpeak dot com. Lizpeak dot comcourse said,
- 31:57Speaker 3: he's all over television. You'll see her here or here
- 32:00Speaker 3: and this Peak. Thanks great stuff, Thanks for being with.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Us, Mark, take care, thank.
- 32:06Speaker 3: You, all right, take care. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay.
- 32:09Speaker 3: We'll be here at noon today. They always do a
- 32:12Speaker 3: great show every day noon to three. Then you got
- 32:14Speaker 3: the most listened to radio show in America. Sean Hannity
- 32:18Speaker 3: at three, got Jesse Kelly at six, Jimmy Fayla. We
- 32:21Speaker 3: love that show. Everybody loves it. It's interesting, it's funny.
- 32:26Speaker 3: It's every night nine to midnight here on seven ten WR.
- 32:30Speaker 3: The Mark Simone Show continues WR. Well, Hey, tomorrow's the
- 32:38Speaker 3: big parade. They're expecting a million, although Jim Dolan said
- 32:42Speaker 3: he's hearing it could be up to two million people.
- 32:45Speaker 3: It's going to be quite crazy down there. I'm looking
- 32:48Speaker 3: at the very detailed hour by our forecast. Now, parade
- 32:52Speaker 3: starts at ten. We keep hearing. There could be rain.
- 32:56Speaker 3: It's a fifty one percent chance of rain around eleven o'clock.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Fifty one percent chance, and this could change. It'll be
- 33:03Speaker 3: about seventy five degrees seventy three degrees, so if it
- 33:07Speaker 3: doesn't rain, the weather'd be pretty nice for the parade.
- 33:10Speaker 3: The parade is like ten to eleven thirty, and then
- 33:13Speaker 3: eleven thirty the big ceremony at City Hall. Alicia Keys
- 33:16Speaker 3: is going to sing a lot of great species. We'll
- 33:19Speaker 3: broadcast that. We'll bring it to you live, so tomorrow
- 33:23Speaker 3: just tune in here and you can hear the whole ceremony.
- 33:26Speaker 3: I don't think they want to be there. It's going
- 33:27Speaker 3: to be crazy, but you can hear it here live tomorrow.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I'll be back right after the news. We've got a
- 33:32Speaker 3: whole other hour to go and a lot coming up
- 33:33Speaker 3: on seven to ten wo
