  Speaker 1: Growth in the shadows. Hebrews three and five says Moses

  Speaker 1: was faithful as a servant.

  Speaker 2: In all God's house.

  Speaker 1: You know, throughout scripture, every person who accomplished something great
• 0:28
  Speaker 1: had to go through dark places.
• 0:30
  Speaker 2: Moses is a perfect example.

  Speaker 1: He made a grave mistake and killed an Egyptian, thinking
• 0:37
  Speaker 1: he could deliver justice in his own strength.

  Speaker 2: Oh help me Jesus.

  Speaker 1: That act led to years of isolation, forty long years
• 0:47
  Speaker 1: on the back side of the desert. He might have
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: felt forgotten, useless, or like his life was wasted, but

  Speaker 1: those years were not wasted at all. In the dark places,

  Speaker 1: Moses was being shaped. He was developing patience, humility, discernment,

  Speaker 1: and trust in God. His character was being refined so
• 1:11
  Speaker 1: that when the time came, he could step into his
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: full calling. Without that season of preparation, he could never
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: have held up his rod and parted the Red Sea,
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: or even led millions of Israelites out of slavery. The
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: dark place was necessary for the greatness that lay ahead.

  Speaker 1: You know your season may look different from the principle,
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: but the same principle applies when life feels confusing, you lonely,
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: things are unfair. Remember that God is working even in
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: the shadows. It's in the quiet, it's in the difficulty.

  Speaker 1: It's in those sometimes discouraging moments that your spiritual muscles
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: are strengthened. In the dark, you learn to pray with persistence.

  Speaker 1: You learn to trust beyond what you see. You learn

  Speaker 1: to seek God's wisdom above all. You go closer to him,

  Speaker 1: You reevaluate what truly matters, and you prepare for the

  Speaker 1: next step of your journey. Don't resent the darkness, don't

  Speaker 1: rush through it or despise it. Instead, let it mold you,

  Speaker 1: let it teach you perseverance, let it refine your faith.

  Speaker 1: These shadows are not the end. They are preparation for

  Speaker 1: your breakthrough. The dark place is not punishment, It's a

  Speaker 1: prerequisite for your destiny. Oh Father God, thank you that

  Speaker 1: you work in the shadows of our lives to prepare

  Speaker 1: us for what is to come. Thank you that even

  Speaker 1: when we feel forgotten or stuck, you are shaping our character,

  Speaker 1: strengthen in our faith and teaching us to trust you fully.

  Speaker 1: We will embrace these dark places, knowing that you are

  Speaker 1: using everything dark places to bless us and prepare us

  Speaker 1: for the destiny that You've planned for our lives in
