- 0:12Speaker 1: Is the gold reform it.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Well, thanks for joining us on the Bolt Reporters. We
- 0:18Speaker 2: continue our rolling coverage of what is a momentous day,
- 0:21Speaker 2: not just in Israel, but for the entire world. We've
- 0:25Speaker 2: just received confirmation that all twenty living hostages have now
- 0:29Speaker 2: been released. There was first seven hostages released into the
- 0:33Speaker 2: care of the Red Cross before they were transferred to
- 0:36Speaker 2: the IDF to be reunited with their families, and just
- 0:40Speaker 2: in the last few minutes we've received word that the
- 0:42Speaker 2: other thirteen living hostages, making twenty in all, have now
- 0:46Speaker 2: been released from.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Captivity in Gaza.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Donald Trump arrived in Jerusalem about ninety minutes ago, and
- 0:54Speaker 2: he'll soon be speaking at the Knesset, that's the Israeli Parliament.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Will bring you that speech as it happens, and as
- 1:00Speaker 2: you can see on your screen, preparations being.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Made there for his arrival.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Before Trump speaks at the Kannesset, he's having a private
- 1:10Speaker 2: meeting with hostages. He didn't want that meeting to be public.
- 1:13Speaker 2: He didn't want cameras there. He wanted a private meeting
- 1:16Speaker 2: with those hostages. And following that he will speak at
- 1:20Speaker 2: the Kannesset. You can see Benjamin nettan Yahoo and other
- 1:23Speaker 2: officials arriving there at the Israeli Parliament in preparation for
- 1:28Speaker 2: that address. I'll be joined now by Victorian Liberal Party
- 1:32Speaker 2: President Michael Kroger, just as they make preparations for Trump
- 1:36Speaker 2: to address the Kannesset. Michael, this will be a very
- 1:40Speaker 2: historic speech, President Trump, being only the fourth US president
- 1:44Speaker 2: ever to address the Israeli Parliament. I think Jimmy Carter,
- 1:49Speaker 2: Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush the only other US
- 1:53Speaker 2: presidents ever to speak. And when Trump speaks in a
- 1:56Speaker 2: few moments, He'll not just be addressing Israel, but will
- 1:59Speaker 2: be addressing the entire world.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Mattie sure will be.
- 2:04Speaker 3: And what an extraordinary day, What a momentous day. I'm
- 2:10Speaker 3: quite optimistic about the future. I think these Arab states,
- 2:14Speaker 3: Pakistan and Indonesia, the other Muslim states and countries have
- 2:18Speaker 3: had enough of the ongoing bloodshed brought about by Fatah,
- 2:25Speaker 3: you know Hamas Islamic g had the Alexa Martyrs brigade.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I think they've all just had enough of Islamic terrorism,
- 2:33Speaker 3: and I think they want to turn Gaza and West
- 2:36Speaker 3: Bank whatever else into you know, first world countries down
- 2:40Speaker 3: the track, like qataris, like the Saudis, are like Jordan
- 2:44Speaker 3: Is Egypt. I mean, I think they just want peace.
- 2:46Speaker 3: I think they've had enough. So I'm optimistic James going
- 2:50Speaker 3: forward for as long as Trump stays there, of course.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I mean, this guy's performance is, whatever his faults, this
- 2:56Speaker 3: guy's performance has.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Been unbelievable, unbelievable.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's a triumph by the way of deal makers over diplomats.
- 3:04Speaker 3: I mean, no diplomats and this has been going off
- 3:06Speaker 3: for decades have been able to engineer this Trump has.
- 3:10Speaker 3: He's a deal maker and everyone knows what I mean
- 3:12Speaker 3: by that. He can twist arms and do deals with
- 3:16Speaker 3: these other foreign leaders that no other American president has
- 3:18Speaker 3: been able to do. And through the force of his
- 3:21Speaker 3: will and those around him, this guy Witcoff's obviously very good, Kushner, etc.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Marco Rubio and his relationship with the Qataris more recently
- 3:30Speaker 3: with the president of Turkey, the Pakistanis, who is now
- 3:35Speaker 3: close to the Egyptians. I mean, this is Trump's golden moment.
- 3:39Speaker 3: This is the highlight of his of his presidency, and
- 3:42Speaker 3: it will long be remembered.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Well, He's certainly receiving a hero's welcome Israel. In Tel Aviv,
- 3:50Speaker 2: they had billboards lighting up the streets saying thank you,
- 3:54Speaker 2: mister President. On the beach of Tel Aviv was a
- 3:57Speaker 2: massive sign saying thank you to the US President. And
- 4:00Speaker 2: in the kanesset where Trump is about to speak, we've
- 4:04Speaker 2: got pictures. I'm not sure if we'll show them right now,
- 4:06Speaker 2: but we've got pictures of Maga hats being distributed to
- 4:09Speaker 2: people in the public gallery. They'll be wearing those as
- 4:13Speaker 2: Trump stands to speak.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I mean, it's just remarkable, is it not. It's remarkable.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I just hope they don'derstone know how to aud Trump
- 4:21Speaker 3: twenty twenty eight hats, because that would.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Be a bit bit premature.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But the way he's going over there, that wouldn't surprise
- 4:28Speaker 3: Trump twenty Trump thirty two.
- 4:31Speaker 1: No, look, this is this guy.
- 4:35Speaker 3: This has been remarkable. I mean, you know what they
- 4:38Speaker 3: did over Iran. I mean for twenty years we've been
- 4:41Speaker 3: talking about what with consequences would be with if Iran
- 4:44Speaker 3: got a nuclear warhead. What do you did with Katar
- 4:48Speaker 3: after the Israelis bombed Qatar, signing a peace pact overnight
- 4:53Speaker 3: with Katar, saying an attack on Qatar's attack on America
- 4:56Speaker 3: like an ancestry with Qatar overnight no congressional approval, no
- 5:00Speaker 3: macking around inquiries and reports and overture. He just decided, Bang,
- 5:05Speaker 3: you attack Katar, you attack America full stop. That alone
- 5:09Speaker 3: meant that the Arab States knew this was a guy
- 5:13Speaker 3: that could be trusted to make sure that everyone kept
- 5:16Speaker 3: their side of the bargain and trying to not This
- 5:19Speaker 3: couldn't have happened without Donald Trump. I'm not the first
- 5:21Speaker 3: to say that there's there's plenty of people who you know,
- 5:26Speaker 3: are downplaying his role. Well, you just complete mugs, ignorant
- 5:30Speaker 3: mugs if you think you know. But now he's after
- 5:33Speaker 3: he speaks with the Kanessa. As we know, James, he's
- 5:35Speaker 3: going off to Egypt, and I wouldn't want to be
- 5:39Speaker 3: Emmanuel Macron or the British Prime minister and poor things
- 5:42Speaker 3: turning up there. They'll be sitting at the back of
- 5:44Speaker 3: the room, totally embarrassed and I don't even know why
- 5:46Speaker 3: they're going.
- 5:47Speaker 1: It's embarrassing.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Thank goodness, our Prime minister is not.
- 5:50Speaker 2: At least I was going to say, at least they're
- 5:53Speaker 2: in the room. Unlike Anthony Albanezi. I should point out
- 5:56Speaker 2: those hats weren't Maga hats, but they were certainly Maga's
- 5:59Speaker 2: style hat proclaiming Trump as the President of Peace. We're
- 6:03Speaker 2: looking at live pictures of the Kanesset. They're waiting for
- 6:06Speaker 2: Donald Trump to arrive, where he'll address the Israeli Parliament.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Security is absolutely tight.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Even those people who have full time passes to the
- 6:16Speaker 2: Kanesset reportedly had to reapply for a special entrance permit
- 6:21Speaker 2: and the lines apparently were massive and huge waiting times.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You can imagine security absolutely tight for Donald Trump's arrival.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah, well, interuding the other interesting.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Thing, Michael were absolutely he's arriving in the Beast, which
- 6:39Speaker 2: of course is his beefed up security vehicle. The other
- 6:43Speaker 2: thing viewers might not be aware of is I understand
- 6:46Speaker 2: At the airport, Donald Trump broke with protocol and invited
- 6:50Speaker 2: Benjamin Netanyahoo and Benjamin Etya, who's wife Sarah, to join
- 6:55Speaker 2: them in Trump's vehicle for the ride into Jerusalem. So
- 7:00Speaker 2: that just shows the level of friendship and relationship between
- 7:03Speaker 2: the US president and his Israeli counterpart.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Well, this is where the deal maker comes into it.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I mean, this guy's friends with net Yahoo, He's friendly
- 7:14Speaker 3: with the Katari Prime minister. They're very close. He's friendly
- 7:19Speaker 3: with ol Cci. He's now got a very good relation
- 7:23Speaker 3: with Duwan, who we had in the White House a
- 7:25Speaker 3: few weeks ago. He's very friendly with the saudiast He's
- 7:29Speaker 3: fallen in love with the Pakistanis as a result of
- 7:31Speaker 3: that brilliant work done by that Pakistani general who edged
- 7:34Speaker 3: out the Indians as the as the American's favorite. I mean,
- 7:39Speaker 3: he's friendly with all these Muslim Muslim countries. I mean,
- 7:42Speaker 3: no other American president. Let me seconds relationships.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Let's just let's just listen in and see what we
- 7:50Speaker 2: can hear here as Trump.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Yes, please, mister president.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Please, okay, okay, radio, let's start with one here. Let's
- 8:33Speaker 5: look here, person, then here and please.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Here, let's try again.
- 8:54Speaker 5: Now here please flabby.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Lighthouse, that's generals.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Okay, what's that?
- 9:08Speaker 7: What's no pay? Yes?
- 9:31Speaker 8: A yeah, yeah, amen?
- 9:35Speaker 7: Today will be here.
- 9:45Speaker 8: Then you wanna get you.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Mister.
- 10:33Speaker 2: You can see Donald Trump signing a book there saying
- 10:36Speaker 2: it's a great honor, a great and beautiful day, as
- 10:40Speaker 2: he prepares to address the Israeli parliament.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Let me bring in Andrew Bolt.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Andrew, great to have you on the program. A remarkable
- 10:49Speaker 2: thing for Donald Trump, I mean, who was lampooned as
- 10:53Speaker 2: a hitler, a dictator and authoritarian, a warmonger, now about
- 10:58Speaker 2: to address the Israeli parliament having brought about a deal
- 11:01Speaker 2: to return the remaining hostages and potentially to start a
- 11:06Speaker 2: whole new chapter in the Middle East.
- 11:07Speaker 1: It's just an astonishing turn of events.
- 11:11Speaker 6: I think you've nailed it there. It's not just bringing
- 11:14Speaker 6: back the hostages, and that alone is huge. I mean,
- 11:17Speaker 6: if you see the reception Donald Trump is getting from
- 11:20Speaker 6: Israel there, if you see the joy there across the board.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Even NETNYO, who has Israel thinks it has won. The
- 11:27Speaker 6: hostages are back. Har Mars has got nothing on it.
- 11:30Speaker 6: But the other point here is that the Middle East
- 11:33Speaker 6: is being remade, and that is in part due to
- 11:35Speaker 6: Israeli's strength, but also the unwavering support of Donald Trump,
- 11:40Speaker 6: plus it's military help in Iran to help destroy their
- 11:44Speaker 6: nuclear weaponsy. There are so many moderate now Muslim countries,
- 11:49Speaker 6: the UAE, for example, now Saudi Arabi you want to
- 11:53Speaker 6: call them moderate, but they want to get on with
- 11:54Speaker 6: business and with this out of the way, this war
- 11:57Speaker 6: out of the way, they can do it and usually
- 12:00Speaker 6: restore their properties with Israel. That is the future. And
- 12:05Speaker 6: Donald Trump has helped to achieve it.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I've got to ask you, Andrew, how optimistic are you
- 12:12Speaker 2: that he can?
- 12:13Speaker 1: I mean, his vision is pretty clear.
- 12:15Speaker 2: There seems to be a lot of goodwill and from
- 12:18Speaker 2: many Islamic countries, as you've pointed out, but so many
- 12:22Speaker 2: obstacles in the way. How hopeful are you that he
- 12:25Speaker 2: can indeed do what he's setting out to do?
- 12:29Speaker 6: Oh, there are many obstacles in the way. Syria is unstable.
- 12:32Speaker 6: I mean, it's on a somewhat encouraging track. That's unstable.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Iraqa's You've got all these Iranian supported militias, they're all unstable.
- 12:44Speaker 6: But this is a very definite new start for many countries.
- 12:49Speaker 6: When you see that Qatar, when Israel bonded the Hamas
- 12:53Speaker 6: headquarters in Qatar, kata I finally realized the game was up.
- 12:57Speaker 6: It cannot play both sides against the other, you know,
- 13:00Speaker 6: supporting Hamas, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood, pumping out vile anti
- 13:05Speaker 6: Israeli propaganda on Al Jazeera, particularly Arabic speaking channels. It
- 13:10Speaker 6: is one of the countries that put the pressure on Hamasi.
- 13:13Speaker 6: You're out of friends, You've got to give in. And
- 13:15Speaker 6: I also don't have much faith at the moment in
- 13:18Speaker 6: the peace process in actually Gaza itself. I mean, you
- 13:22Speaker 6: can see right now footage of Hamas terrorists killing their opponents,
- 13:27Speaker 6: taking back control as Israelis pulled out. So that's still
- 13:30Speaker 6: a festering saw and there's no army anywhere. That says
- 13:34Speaker 6: to the Israelis, well, if you pull out, we'll come
- 13:37Speaker 6: back here, We'll go in and we will disarm Hamas.
- 13:40Speaker 6: They don't want to be targets of Hamas Terris. So
- 13:42Speaker 6: I don't know how that's going to play out. But
- 13:44Speaker 6: the point there is, in a way that's up to
- 13:49Speaker 6: the Palestinians if they want a new future with lots
- 13:52Speaker 6: of aid, or they want to just revert back to
- 13:55Speaker 6: you know, there's violent type in a sense that almost
- 14:00Speaker 6: doesn't matter because Israel has smashed mass It is smashed Iran,
- 14:05Speaker 6: the main funder of the mass, cowed Qatar, and of
- 14:10Speaker 6: course it is absolutely destroyed Hesbala, the main terrorist army
- 14:14Speaker 6: that was supporting Hamas. So Israel has never been safer,
- 14:18Speaker 6: even if Jews around the world have never felt they're
- 14:20Speaker 6: safe themselves.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and of course it's a bit of sweet day today,
- 14:26Speaker 2: isn't it. I've just received word that the bodies of
- 14:30Speaker 2: the deceased hostages I think there's about twenty eight in total,
- 14:34Speaker 2: will be transferred to Israeli authorities later this afternoon Jerusalem time.
- 14:40Speaker 2: So it's a funny sort of day, isn't it, Andrew,
- 14:42Speaker 2: Because there's great hope and optimism and celebration, but at
- 14:45Speaker 2: the same time a lot of grief. And it's been
- 14:48Speaker 2: two years of hell for israelis.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Absolutely two years of hell. I mean, the joy of
- 14:55Speaker 6: having people come back after two years is precisely because
- 14:58Speaker 6: of what they've suffered for the two years in between.
- 15:01Speaker 6: We can't forget that. And the body is coming back.
- 15:03Speaker 6: I mean, it's just I'm trying to think of any
- 15:07Speaker 6: other so called liberation movement that actually holds the bodies
- 15:12Speaker 6: of the dead as bargaining chips. Yeah, we might remember
- 15:16Speaker 6: at an earlier host this exchange, they did a big ceremony
- 15:20Speaker 6: handing over the coffins containing a baby and essentially a
- 15:24Speaker 6: toddler that actually strangled with their bare hands, kept the
- 15:28Speaker 6: bodies and then swapped them for terrorists being released by Israel.
- 15:32Speaker 6: I mean, I think this is a wake up to
- 15:35Speaker 6: the world that the forces arraigned against the West. Right now,
- 15:39Speaker 6: include a lot of barbarians. And this idea that Albinisi
- 15:43Speaker 6: and France and Canada and Britain had of Oh, look,
- 15:47Speaker 6: if we just appease a maas you know something, we
- 15:50Speaker 6: will recognize a Palestinian state, will condemn Israel in the UN,
- 15:57Speaker 6: We'll do all that kind of it, will tell Israel
- 15:59Speaker 6: to pull back a bit and you know, de escalate,
- 16:02Speaker 6: de escalate. That that would solve that absolute utter nonsense.
- 16:07Speaker 6: I think that's the message we have to learn here.
- 16:09Speaker 6: Peace is from strength, and our Prime Minister's got to
- 16:13Speaker 6: recognize that, not just in terms of his treatment of Israel,
- 16:16Speaker 6: but in the building up of our own army. Peace
- 16:19Speaker 6: is through strength, and I hope Donald Trump realizes that
- 16:22Speaker 6: with Ukraine as well.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Absolutely, Andrew, I wanted to ask you my understanding is
- 16:30Speaker 2: that the twenty hostages living hostages who have been reunited
- 16:36Speaker 2: with their families today, every single one of them is
- 16:39Speaker 2: a male, not a single female living hostage left.
- 16:43Speaker 1: What do you make of that.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Well, that was a key demand of past host hostage releases,
- 16:52Speaker 6: that the women went first, and the young went first,
- 16:55Speaker 6: and the noncombatance went first. So that was part of
- 16:59Speaker 6: the a deal. Then, so left them with these twenty
- 17:03Speaker 6: twenty young men or twenty men and of various ages.
- 17:08Speaker 6: The thing, you know, you've got to emphasize here, Israel
- 17:13Speaker 6: is so happy in part because now Hamas has got
- 17:17Speaker 6: nothing to bribe them with, nothing to hold you know,
- 17:21Speaker 6: they don't have hostages. The thing there is that Israel
- 17:25Speaker 6: can pull back. But now Hamas it's got to be disarmed.
- 17:29Speaker 6: That's part two. They haven't agreed to that, but they've
- 17:32Speaker 6: got to be disarmed. That's part two Trump's plan, peace plan,
- 17:36Speaker 6: and they've got to have no part in the running
- 17:39Speaker 6: of Gaza. But you can actually see on the streets
- 17:41Speaker 6: they've got police back in the streets and they're shooting.
- 17:44Speaker 6: You actually can see footage of them shooting their opponents.
- 17:47Speaker 6: So they are back in charge. The thing here is
- 17:51Speaker 6: Israel will have every excuse to go back in and
- 17:54Speaker 6: next time, perhaps with the support tacit support may be
- 17:58Speaker 6: of some of the former countries that will go tut
- 18:01Speaker 6: tut tut to Israel. Because I don't know that I
- 18:06Speaker 6: don't know there's any sympathy left in the Muslim world
- 18:08Speaker 6: for leadership, at least for Hamas, and nor do I
- 18:11Speaker 6: believe that they would want Hamas to take back control
- 18:16Speaker 6: of Gaza, so no one else is put into the hands.
- 18:19Speaker 6: You know, ALBINIZI is not saying we'll send austraining troops
- 18:22Speaker 6: to disarmed Hamas. Egypt's not saying they'll send troops as
- 18:25Speaker 6: Turkey isn't and that will leave it ultimately to Israel.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Let me bring in.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I think we've got Senator Stephen former Labor Senator Stephen
- 18:35Speaker 2: Conroy with US. I wanted to ask you, Stephen, what
- 18:40Speaker 2: you make of the summit that will take place later
- 18:43Speaker 2: today in the Middle East. You've got the leader of Canada,
- 18:47Speaker 2: the leader of the UK, You've got the leader of
- 18:52Speaker 2: what was the other nation that the French president will
- 18:54Speaker 2: be there. All of those leaders recognized a state of Palestine.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Of course, the notable absence is our own Prime minister.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Has the Albanezi government made ourselves pretty much irrelevant in
- 19:07Speaker 2: this part of the world and what does that mean
- 19:09Speaker 2: for our relationship with the US? I know Anthony Albaneze
- 19:11Speaker 2: is on holidays, which is probably a good, pretty good
- 19:15Speaker 2: place for him to be right now, so he doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 2: have to be interviewed about what's happening right now in
- 19:20Speaker 2: the Middle East without him.
- 19:24Speaker 8: Look, fer think could I join Andrew and Michael in
- 19:29Speaker 8: a wonderful day of celebration. We've got to cease fire.
- 19:33Speaker 8: It's held for a few days with the return of
- 19:35Speaker 8: the hostages, the bodies. This is a truly great day
- 19:39Speaker 8: for the state of Israel and for those who are
- 19:42Speaker 8: critical of Donald Trump, and I would include myself on
- 19:45Speaker 8: that long list. He deserves congratulations and to be fated
- 19:51Speaker 8: for his role in driving I think Michael and Andrew
- 19:55Speaker 8: might have both said it's through force of his will,
- 19:57Speaker 8: no question about that, absolutely clear. No matter what you
- 20:02Speaker 8: think of Donald Trump, he deserves congratulations today. In terms
- 20:06Speaker 8: of the summit, I hope that it creates the building
- 20:09Speaker 8: blocks for a lasting piece. I think Michael, Andrew Greg
- 20:14Speaker 8: Sheridan on Peter Credlin's show, we're all making the points
- 20:19Speaker 8: that enforcing the peace, ensuring Hamas don't have ongoing control,
- 20:24Speaker 8: will be a great challenge. We all hope that these
- 20:29Speaker 8: building blocks that are in place can create that lasting peace.
- 20:33Speaker 8: We hope that the moderate Muslim countries do make a contribution,
- 20:41Speaker 8: and for it to be successful, they will need to
- 20:44Speaker 8: deal with the Hamas styled terrorists in the same way
- 20:49Speaker 8: they deal with them in their own countries because they
- 20:52Speaker 8: don't take too many prisoners when it comes to dealing
- 20:57Speaker 8: with dissidents who try to undermine their regime. So I
- 21:00Speaker 8: think the sooner Hamas understand what's confronting them, supported by
- 21:06Speaker 8: an overwhelming number of Muslim countries, the better. So I
- 21:09Speaker 8: think it's important to send those messages very strongly that
- 21:13Speaker 8: Hamas have no role. They have to disarm, they have
- 21:16Speaker 8: to deliver on the rest of the peace package. In
- 21:19Speaker 8: terms of that summit, as you can see a whole
- 21:24Speaker 8: range of leaders that Donald Trump allegedly is angry with
- 21:27Speaker 8: over recognizing they're all present, and Anthony Albanize is going
- 21:32Speaker 8: to meet Donald Trump in a week or two. So
- 21:34Speaker 8: I think trying to draw, you know, trying to draw
- 21:40Speaker 8: issues out of whose president who's not president, is really
- 21:43Speaker 8: stretching it. Everyone knows that our prime minister's meeting President Trump,
- 21:50Speaker 8: and I think to try and muddy the warders around
- 21:52Speaker 8: who's there and who's not there this week is just
- 21:55Speaker 8: doing that, mudding the waters with no purpose.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Let me go back to you for a second, Andrew Bolton.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I want to focus on what's happening in Israel. It's
- 22:03Speaker 2: a great momentous day, So let's not get too stuck
- 22:07Speaker 2: into Anthony Albanezi. But do you agree that it's irrelevant
- 22:10Speaker 2: that our prime minister is not there or should he
- 22:13Speaker 2: be part of that Egyptian summit later today?
- 22:17Speaker 6: No, the other European leaders that were very helpful in
- 22:21Speaker 6: supporting Trump. Leaders in Finland, for instance, I think that
- 22:27Speaker 6: isn't there. New Zealand isn't there, but India is. And
- 22:31Speaker 6: Indonesia is right next to us, but that's a Muslim country. Indonesia.
- 22:37Speaker 6: The thing here, I think when you say that Macron
- 22:41Speaker 6: is there and Starmer is there, I reckon they're there
- 22:45Speaker 6: because this is Donald Trump flexing. Let's not forget Donald
- 22:49Speaker 6: Trump loves to show his power, which is one reason
- 22:52Speaker 6: why he's been so successful here, and he would love
- 22:55Speaker 6: those two guys being brought to heal right next to
- 22:58Speaker 6: him having to suck it up that this is a
- 23:01Speaker 6: piece deal created by him and Israel. Let's not forget
- 23:05Speaker 6: Israel and not them, and they are paying court to
- 23:08Speaker 6: Donald Trump. And the more great leaders of the world
- 23:11Speaker 6: are around Donald Trump applauding him, the better for him,
- 23:15Speaker 6: the better for American power, and the more chance we
- 23:17Speaker 6: have deals like this.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Absolutely, we're just showing live pictures there of the Kanesse.
- 23:24Speaker 2: That's the Israeli Parliament where Donald Trump will address the
- 23:29Speaker 2: crowd shortly, the fourth US president to do so, Andrew.
- 23:33Speaker 2: The first US president to ever speak in the Israeli
- 23:36Speaker 2: parliament was Jimmy Carter back in nineteen seventy nine when
- 23:39Speaker 2: he said, and I quote, no people desire or deserve
- 23:43Speaker 2: peace more than the Jewish people. That was nineteen seventy nine. Gee,
- 23:49Speaker 2: it's been a long long road, hasn't it Here we
- 23:52Speaker 2: are again.
- 23:54Speaker 6: Oh, and hasn't finished either. And from that point, you know,
- 23:58Speaker 6: we have to remember exactly how this came about. It
- 24:01Speaker 6: isn't all Donald Trump. I mean, what is done by
- 24:05Speaker 6: getting the hostages free is allow Israel to say we're
- 24:10Speaker 6: stopping now. You know, job almost done. You know, we're
- 24:13Speaker 6: out of here. Now. They don't need to keep fighting
- 24:16Speaker 6: to free the hostages. That's done. Ha mass is essentially decimated.
- 24:22Speaker 6: And if you look around, so many of Israel's enemies
- 24:27Speaker 6: have been humiliated, defeated. It's over. It is over. And
- 24:32Speaker 6: Donald Trump just came screaming over the top with this
- 24:35Speaker 6: particular deal to end this phase of the war. But
- 24:38Speaker 6: you know, low level conflict is still going to be there.
- 24:42Speaker 6: The Islamic religion has still not had the reformation it
- 24:45Speaker 6: needs to preach peace. We've seen that right here with
- 24:48Speaker 6: our own Mum's Council. So that's still there. But the
- 24:52Speaker 6: point is here that most of Israel's enemies have had
- 24:56Speaker 6: their fangs, if not removed and filed down.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Michael Kroger, the pro Palestinian protesters in western countries would
- 25:07Speaker 2: be feeling a bit silly right now, wouldn't they as
- 25:10Speaker 2: we watch pictures of hostages being returned to families, of
- 25:15Speaker 2: preparations for a new Dawn in Gaza, Well.
- 25:20Speaker 3: They would worldwide, James, they've been Hummas have been defeated.
- 25:26Speaker 3: In the Great War of twenty twenty three to twenty
- 25:29Speaker 3: twenty five, the Jewish Nation of Israel prevailed over Hamas
- 25:33Speaker 3: and their supporters around the world. And you know, I
- 25:37Speaker 3: went to that demons. I was in Sydney on the weekend.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I went to that demonstration yesterday in Hyde Park for
- 25:42Speaker 3: half an hour just walking around, and there are elements
- 25:46Speaker 3: of that group. They're just it's Jewish hatred. I mean,
- 25:49Speaker 3: I'm sorry, it's not pro Palestine. There's elements of Jewish
- 25:52Speaker 3: hatred there. I mean, Queers for Palestine had a banner
- 25:58Speaker 3: where they had hummas inverted triangles on it, cleverly sort
- 26:04Speaker 3: of disguised, but they had banners calling for Netanyahu to
- 26:08Speaker 3: be arrested f Israel. Chris Mins was supporting terrorism f Israel,
- 26:14Speaker 3: you know, I mean a chance from from the River
- 26:17Speaker 3: to the Sea, I mean, this is just a cesspit
- 26:20Speaker 3: of Jewish hatred. And that the great Chris Kenny showed
- 26:24Speaker 3: that clip before of that guy, the head of the
- 26:27Speaker 3: Palestinian network in Sydney Lees, who started a sentence by saying,
- 26:34Speaker 3: for as long as Israel exists, right now, we understand
- 26:39Speaker 3: mister Lees, if we're in any doubt what you think,
- 26:42Speaker 3: which is that Israel needs to be wiped off the map.
- 26:45Speaker 3: And this is just you know, this is what these
- 26:47Speaker 3: Palestinian demonstrators in large wanted, James. From the River to
- 26:51Speaker 3: the Sea means the destruction of the Jewish state. Well,
- 26:53Speaker 3: I've got bad news. It's not happening. It's never going
- 26:57Speaker 3: to happen. The Jewish people are going to protect their
- 26:59Speaker 3: state forever, their country forever, and as soon as you know,
- 27:03Speaker 3: these extremist Arab groups, Palestinian groups understand that the better.
- 27:09Speaker 3: So I know these demonstrators have had a shocking tea years.
- 27:12Speaker 3: They've disgraced themselves, They've embarrassed their Western governments in the
- 27:16Speaker 3: countries that we've just referred to, including Australia, and Penny
- 27:20Speaker 3: Wog will long be remembered as the foreigners country who
- 27:23Speaker 3: in October eight called on the Jewish state to exercise restraint. Well, Penny,
- 27:27Speaker 3: if they'd listened to you, we wouldn't be about to
- 27:29Speaker 3: watch Donald Trump speak in the Knesset today.
- 27:34Speaker 2: And I think, Andrew Bolt, you wrote a wonderful column
- 27:37Speaker 2: in the News Limited papers today or yesterday pointing out
- 27:41Speaker 2: that very thing that if Benjamin ette Ya who had
- 27:45Speaker 2: listened to our government, we wouldn't be seeing the images
- 27:48Speaker 2: we're seeing today, and of course hostages wouldn't be back
- 27:52Speaker 2: with their families. We're going to go into just the
- 27:54Speaker 2: second Andrew, but just very quickly, any final.
- 27:57Speaker 6: Thoughts, Well, I think I want to pick up in
- 28:02Speaker 6: something Michael said. Yes, what it's been exposed is that
- 28:06Speaker 6: so many protests hate Israel and not to see Israel.
- 28:08Speaker 6: They cheered their senator Lydia Thorpe, who when she said
- 28:12Speaker 6: should burn Parliament to our Parliament to the ground to
- 28:15Speaker 6: get things done. I think there's a current of hatred
- 28:18Speaker 6: for the West and Israel that we have to tackle
- 28:21Speaker 6: right here.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Very well said.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Michael Kroger, thank you Stephen Conroy, and
- 28:29Speaker 2: thank you Andrew Bolt.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Great to have all of you with me tonight.
- 28:32Speaker 2: And Andrew, We're wishing you all the best as you
- 28:34Speaker 2: continue your recovery. It's great to see you this evening.
- 28:38Speaker 2: If you want to watch President Trump's speech to the Knesset,
- 28:42Speaker 2: you can on Sky News Extra channel six three. There's
- 28:45Speaker 2: also a special edition of Sharry on Today's Historic Events
- 28:48Speaker 2: coming up at eight thirty. But now time for the
- 28:51Speaker 2: exclusive premiere of Part one of Tony Abbott's landmark documentary
- 28:54Speaker 2: Australia The History
