- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. Today we're
- 0:09Speaker 2: talking headlines. Ben had sort of a headline making weekend
- 0:14Speaker 2: himself as he organized a big Bachelor Guide strip to
- 0:18Speaker 2: his home state of Indiana where they golfed. It was
- 0:22Speaker 2: Zach Clark, Joey, You Wells, Dean, am I missing anyone,
- 0:28Speaker 2: Joe Oh Grocery Shore Joe. What a great group. I
- 0:32Speaker 2: want to hang out with that group.
- 0:35Speaker 3: It was a great time.
- 0:36Speaker 4: We're gonna have him on to talk all about it.
- 0:38Speaker 4: We have a lot of fun stuff coming out. We
- 0:40Speaker 4: actually had thirty six guys there, so, as I mentioned,
- 0:46Speaker 4: it was like buddies from middle school, high school, college,
- 0:50Speaker 4: my first job out of college, and then post that
- 0:55Speaker 4: job into the bachelor world and today and so yeah,
- 0:58Speaker 4: we had everybody from pastors to influencers to accountants all
- 1:05Speaker 4: mixed in together. Nobody knew everybody except for me, which
- 1:09Speaker 4: made it really fun. It was an incredible trip to
- 1:11Speaker 4: French Lick, Indiana, one of the best golf resorts in
- 1:16Speaker 4: the country. We had a lot of fun, a lot
- 1:20Speaker 4: of stories to be had. I did not play well,
- 1:23Speaker 4: so I'm frustrated, but we will have hopefully most of
- 1:29Speaker 4: those guys able to come on next week kind of
- 1:31Speaker 4: talk about the trip, talk about what it was like
- 1:33Speaker 4: to be together, because there was no you know, here's
- 1:36Speaker 4: what I wanted to do. I wanted to bring everybody
- 1:37Speaker 4: together because they're friends. There was no expectation for publicity
- 1:42Speaker 4: or content or exposure. There was no asks or requests,
- 1:48Speaker 4: and so it was a trip just to be friends.
- 1:53Speaker 4: And I'm excited to hear kind of how they felt
- 1:55Speaker 4: about that. I don't know if many of us go
- 1:58Speaker 4: on trips anymore where there's not some reciprocal ask that
- 2:03Speaker 4: needs to be done in exchange. But I really wanted
- 2:06Speaker 4: to make sure that this was just a trip to
- 2:08Speaker 4: hang out because I.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Liked these guys.
- 2:10Speaker 2: What did everybody stay?
- 2:12Speaker 4: We stayed at French Lick. It's the West Baden resort.
- 2:15Speaker 4: It's a very nice old like it was built in
- 2:18Speaker 4: the eighteen hundreds. It's if you look it up, it
- 2:21Speaker 4: used to be called the ninth Wonder of the World.
- 2:23Speaker 4: It's a huge dome. I was nervous, honestly, bringing thirty
- 2:28Speaker 4: six guys in to a like five star resort was
- 2:32Speaker 4: very scary for me.
- 2:35Speaker 3: That they would tear it up. Nobody did.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Nobody got arrested, nobody got in trouble, nobody broke anything.
- 2:40Speaker 4: But I was nervous. But we stayed there and then
- 2:43Speaker 4: we played the three courses that French Lick has kind
- 2:47Speaker 4: of around the resort, had dinners there at night. They
- 2:52Speaker 4: have a casino. We watched a lot of like basketball together,
- 2:56Speaker 4: stayed up way too late at my watch, said, I
- 2:59Speaker 4: averaged four hours and thirty minutes of sleep every night,
- 3:01Speaker 4: which is crazy.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Was it three nights?
- 3:04Speaker 4: It's three nights, two days of golf, three nights. We
- 3:09Speaker 4: got in Sunday. I think it's three nights. Yes, Sunday night,
- 3:11Speaker 4: Monday night, Tuesday night, left Wednesday morning. So Sunday night
- 3:15Speaker 4: we just did a big like welcome party with food
- 3:19Speaker 4: in the game. And then Tuesday thirty six or Monday
- 3:23Speaker 4: thirty six holes of golf, Tuesday eighteen holes of golf,
- 3:25Speaker 4: and then I had a big campfire setup. They have
- 3:29Speaker 4: like this amazing stables set up there at French Lick,
- 3:33Speaker 4: and so we had like a big campfire with everybody
- 3:37Speaker 4: and just hung out for the rest of the afternoon,
- 3:39Speaker 4: which was great.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I know that you want to have the guys on
- 3:42Speaker 2: to talk about the experience, but just give us one
- 3:45Speaker 2: little didbit for the week. What was the best laugh
- 3:49Speaker 2: that you had?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Oh goodness.
- 3:51Speaker 4: I mean for me, this was like a laugh the
- 3:54Speaker 4: whole time because I had so many men I loved
- 3:57Speaker 4: throughout my life. There At one time we did have
- 4:00Speaker 4: a camera like that kind of a drone that followed
- 4:04Speaker 4: the trip. I wanted to capture the trip for these
- 4:08Speaker 4: guys that helped me plan it. They're called golf trip
- 4:12Speaker 4: makes sense. They helped me plan this trip, and I
- 4:14Speaker 4: wanted to make sure we got good video and photos.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And the funniest was just the guys kind of getting
- 4:21Speaker 4: caught peeing in the woods by the drone.
- 4:25Speaker 3: That was my favorite. I think.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Also, I rented out the high Limit room one night
- 4:31Speaker 4: at the casino, so it'd just be us in there,
- 4:34Speaker 4: and so we got all around a craps table and
- 4:36Speaker 4: played craps and it was just full of laughs.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And cheers and hugs.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I don't know, it's just it's a really cool thing
- 4:46Speaker 4: to have so many people that I have memories with.
- 4:49Speaker 4: And one of the things I'm sure these guys and
- 4:52Speaker 4: I won't talk about, but I went to a store
- 4:55Speaker 4: here in Denver called Pins and Aces. It's a golf
- 4:57Speaker 4: brand and they do like really cool head covers and
- 5:01Speaker 4: golf apparel. And I went in and picked out a
- 5:04Speaker 4: headcover because they have like two hundred different head covers
- 5:07Speaker 4: in there for like your clubs. Yeah, that reminded me
- 5:10Speaker 4: of each person. So like, wait, guy, have you.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Bought thirty something golf headtops.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I did for these guys?
- 5:18Speaker 2: How much you're one of those things?
- 5:20Speaker 4: Oh they're not too like they're they're I mean, it
- 5:23Speaker 4: wasn't a cheap trip for me, no, because the guys
- 5:26Speaker 4: only had to pay for their food while they're there.
- 5:30Speaker 4: So it was yeah, but it was worth it, like
- 5:32Speaker 4: I think it's worth it to if I'm able to
- 5:35Speaker 4: bring everybody together. But it was in like thirty six
- 5:37Speaker 4: to fifty bucks a head cover and so but it
- 5:40Speaker 4: was fun to like pick out Like a guy I
- 5:42Speaker 4: know gets a ton of sunburns, Like he doesn't ever
- 5:45Speaker 4: not sunburn He's like has like really light hair and
- 5:48Speaker 4: he like really fair skin. And so I got him
- 5:50Speaker 4: like a hot like a fire hot sauce headcover.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I got wells like.
- 5:57Speaker 4: A a transfusion, which is like a golf drink headcover
- 6:01Speaker 4: for his you know, and he had flown back from
- 6:04Speaker 4: Paradise to get there for this, which meant a lot too.
- 6:09Speaker 4: There was a sacrifice there on everybody's end for him
- 6:11Speaker 4: to be there. Dean flew in from Bolivia for this,
- 6:17Speaker 4: so there was just a lot of like sacrifices that
- 6:20Speaker 4: these guys made. I got Dean a leopard. I don't
- 6:24Speaker 4: think he liked it, but I got him a leopard
- 6:26Speaker 4: because he's an adventure I got Zach Clark an Abe
- 6:32Speaker 4: Lincoln headcover because I think Zach Clark could change the
- 6:35Speaker 4: world and he is honest and a man of integrity.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I got Joe a Ninja Turtles because all the Ninja
- 6:42Speaker 4: Turtles are Italian.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Man, this is so good. I love this because you know,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I love personalized gifts. It's so awesome.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Yeah, so I got Wells, I said, Wells's Dean, Zach's
- 6:54Speaker 4: Joe's who I'm missing out of the group.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Of bachelor guys. Oh, Joey.
- 7:03Speaker 4: I got Joey at Dancing Flamingos headcover for Dancing with
- 7:07Speaker 4: the Stars, and it's like a bunch of Flamingos doing
- 7:09Speaker 4: dance moves.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Oh that's so fun. I love that so much.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Honestly, if you're looking for a personalized gift for somebody,
- 7:17Speaker 4: that golfs, pens, and aces is the way to go.
- 7:20Speaker 4: It just has so many different options. They were great
- 7:23Speaker 4: and they were super fun. And so I started out
- 7:26Speaker 4: the weekend by because again, not everybody knew each other,
- 7:29Speaker 4: So I started out the weekend by like pulling out
- 7:31Speaker 4: the head cover explaining why I got it for this
- 7:34Speaker 4: person and how I knew them, and then they would
- 7:35Speaker 4: walk up and get it, and so everybody in there
- 7:37Speaker 4: would be able to like be like, oh, that's so
- 7:40Speaker 4: and so he has dancing flamingos. That's the guy from
- 7:43Speaker 4: the Bachelor. Because I don't think any of my buddies
- 7:45Speaker 4: watched the show.
- 7:46Speaker 2: That's such a good idea to put things together, give
- 7:51Speaker 2: him something to spark a conversation. Ben, what are your
- 7:55Speaker 2: head covers on your own clubs?
- 7:57Speaker 3: It's Waylan my dog.
- 8:00Speaker 2: So it looks just like Whalen.
- 8:01Speaker 3: It's literally Whalen remaxed.
- 8:03Speaker 2: It's hilarious. Oh you made it.
- 8:05Speaker 3: It was like personalized, it's personalized.
- 8:07Speaker 4: And then I got like a sasquatch head cover because
- 8:10Speaker 4: there's a sasquatch museum in Bailey, Colorado. Just about twenty
- 8:13Speaker 4: minutes from my house, and I think it's the funniest,
- 8:16Speaker 4: fun most interesting place.
- 8:19Speaker 3: And I'm like obsessed with sasquatch now.
- 8:22Speaker 4: And so I got a sasquatch head cover from Pens
- 8:25Speaker 4: and Aces because.
- 8:28Speaker 3: You know, does he does he live or not?
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 8:33Speaker 4: But if my voice sounds weak, it's because I spent
- 8:36Speaker 4: all week and not sleeping and yelling. Yeah, because you
- 8:41Speaker 4: get thirty six dudes in one place and it's it's
- 8:46Speaker 4: hurting cats all the time, and so you're just yelling
- 8:50Speaker 4: commands at everybody. And I woke up Wednesday morning and
- 8:56Speaker 4: I can't. I haven't been able to get my voice
- 8:57Speaker 4: back yet. I'm just now recovering.
- 9:01Speaker 3: So yeah, it was great.
- 9:02Speaker 4: And my dad was there, my father in law was there,
- 9:04Speaker 4: my brother in law was there, so you know, they
- 9:08Speaker 4: got to be around these guys again, meet a lot
- 9:12Speaker 4: of them for the first time. My dad knew a
- 9:14Speaker 4: lot of them just from life, but get to meet them.
- 9:17Speaker 3: It was just special. And I think, you know, I
- 9:21Speaker 3: want to do it more often.
- 9:24Speaker 4: And and but you know, it's it's one of those
- 9:26Speaker 4: times that you don't know how many times you're gonna
- 9:28Speaker 4: get to do.
- 9:28Speaker 3: It and so it. Jessica said it best.
- 9:31Speaker 4: She said, Hey, when you when we got married, you
- 9:34Speaker 4: looked around the room and I whispered in her ear.
- 9:36Speaker 4: At our wedding she said, I said, hey, I'm just
- 9:39Speaker 4: now realizing this is one of the only times in
- 9:41Speaker 4: my life that so many people I love are going
- 9:42Speaker 4: to be in one room. And she's like, you found
- 9:45Speaker 4: a way to do it again, and I was like,
- 9:48Speaker 4: you know what, You're right like this this is special
- 9:51Speaker 4: for me.
- 9:52Speaker 3: It's what I think life's all about.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I feel that, and it is depressing at your wedding
- 9:58Speaker 2: to realize that that is one of those. So it's
- 10:00Speaker 2: cool that you were able to have sort of a
- 10:03Speaker 2: similar one.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm sure we're going to get the guys
- 10:06Speaker 4: on here and they're going to talk about the golf.
- 10:10Speaker 4: I do want to mention Wells is going to love
- 10:12Speaker 4: this and he's going to see the headline.
- 10:14Speaker 2: What did he tell you about Paradise?
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sworn to secrecy. The head to head matchup
- 10:21Speaker 4: that I had with Wells, I did beat him. I
- 10:22Speaker 4: want to make sure that is clear and out there.
- 10:24Speaker 4: So that is three times in a row now in
- 10:27Speaker 4: our head to head matchups. When we play with each other,
- 10:30Speaker 4: that I do come out on top, and that is
- 10:33Speaker 4: a brag. That is me floating my ego out into
- 10:36Speaker 4: the world and also saying there's very few people in
- 10:38Speaker 4: this world I'd rather beat at golf than Wells Adams.
- 10:41Speaker 4: And I know he's going to hate it if he
- 10:43Speaker 4: hears this and sees it, and I love that so much.
- 10:46Speaker 4: So yeah, that's my big takeaway from the weekend. Joey Dean,
- 10:50Speaker 4: Wells and I got the play in our own group
- 10:53Speaker 4: one day against each other, and it came down to
- 10:59Speaker 4: the last hole, but some mispuss later and I walked
- 11:01Speaker 4: away with a one hundred bucks from each.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Good job, Thank you.
- 11:05Speaker 2: You're the best of all of them.
- 11:06Speaker 4: No, I can't say that. I think Wells is better.
- 11:09Speaker 4: But for some reason, I think I'm in his head. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 4: I think he just shuts down. I think I just
- 11:15Speaker 4: stare out to you.
- 11:16Speaker 2: You're the Eli Manning to his Tom Brady.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yes I am.
- 11:19Speaker 4: He just gets on the course and he wants to
- 11:21Speaker 4: one so bad that he acts like he doesn't He
- 11:24Speaker 4: acted like he didn't care. Oh, it burns him inside.
- 11:38Speaker 2: All right, She'll we get into other headlines.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we have some big headlines today, ash and and
- 11:43Speaker 4: we will bring those guys on to talk all about it.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Uh and I have a lot of good I have
- 11:47Speaker 4: a lot of questions for them based on the trip.
- 11:50Speaker 4: First headline is this we're getting our first look at
- 11:53Speaker 4: Bachelor in Paradise is season tens. They call it chic
- 11:57Speaker 4: new Costa Rican digs. I guess I can spoil this
- 12:02Speaker 4: because it's not really a spoiler. The weather was really
- 12:05Speaker 4: bad down there. It's Costa Rica this time of year,
- 12:10Speaker 4: it's rainy season. It's not like it's always bad. It's
- 12:12Speaker 4: usually a beautiful place. But I do know it was bad.
- 12:16Speaker 4: You can look at that on the weather forecast or
- 12:18Speaker 4: you know, maybe talk to somebody who's there.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Okay, well that sucks. It's called the Azora Beach Resort
- 12:24Speaker 2: in Costa Rica. If you google it, it's a four
- 12:26Speaker 2: star hotel. I was told by one of the cast
- 12:30Speaker 2: members that it did take a four It was four
- 12:32Speaker 2: hours from the airport I drive, so that's rough. But
- 12:37Speaker 2: the thing about this season, as we suspected a few
- 12:40Speaker 2: weeks ago, there won't be any crabs around and there
- 12:44Speaker 2: won't be any excessive sweating because every contestant gets a
- 12:48Speaker 2: room with four walls, air conditioning and a private pool.
- 12:52Speaker 2: That's nuts they when they write this this is an
- 12:56Speaker 2: Entertainment Weekly article, do they truly mean that each person
- 13:00Speaker 2: has their own room with their own pool. And when
- 13:04Speaker 2: we say pool, like I'm looking at a picture right now,
- 13:06Speaker 2: it's kind of like a big pool. But every room
- 13:08Speaker 2: has its own entrance way, like a walking entrance way
- 13:10Speaker 2: into the pool, which is very nice. I can see there.
- 13:15Speaker 2: There's a bonus too, Okay, So I like to see
- 13:17Speaker 2: everybody sweat. And I think that, like that survival camping
- 13:23Speaker 2: experience that is traditionally a paradise thing, I think that
- 13:28Speaker 2: that like brings more drama. It's probably just because of
- 13:32Speaker 2: the way that I experienced it, but like I think
- 13:34Speaker 2: that's like we must survive, we must survive in love,
- 13:38Speaker 2: we must survive in this heat. I just I like
- 13:43Speaker 2: that it comes along with like amazing race, survive or
- 13:46Speaker 2: whatever you want to call it, like that kind of vibe.
- 13:49Speaker 2: But this is gonna be more lux I would feel
- 13:51Speaker 2: like this is gonna be more of like a love
- 13:52Speaker 2: Island situation. I will say I think drama could come
- 13:59Speaker 2: from this because because if everybody has their own room,
- 14:03Speaker 2: that means there's probably going to be a lot more
- 14:06Speaker 2: hookups early on, because I think there's a lack of
- 14:10Speaker 2: privacy in Plia Escandida. Everybody knows everybody's business. We're all
- 14:15Speaker 2: sharing eight to ten people a room with bunk beds.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Some people are even sharing beds. Nothing really has a
- 14:23Speaker 2: door with a lock. Everything's made out of straw and
- 14:27Speaker 2: you know, plywood. And in this case, they're going to
- 14:31Speaker 2: have like resort rooms, and I think that that's going
- 14:34Speaker 2: to mean a lot more dirtyness, if you know what
- 14:37Speaker 2: I mean.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I think the last spot also was good for bonding.
- 14:42Speaker 4: It took away that kind of reality television aspect where
- 14:47Speaker 4: you're like, I don't really know what your life looks
- 14:49Speaker 4: like outside of this, and what is life like when
- 14:51Speaker 4: everything's not plush and comfortable. I always appreciated seeing how
- 14:54Speaker 4: people handle the bugs in the sweat and the dirt
- 14:57Speaker 4: and the downtime. I do do you think this will
- 15:00Speaker 4: add a different element? I actually actually will say. My
- 15:04Speaker 4: guess is that there are less hookups because the privacy is.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Yes more.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I don't think people didn't hook up because of privacy, though,
- 15:15Speaker 4: I think it's because of the cameras and the cameras
- 15:17Speaker 4: still are going to be there. Yeah, And how weird
- 15:21Speaker 4: is it to be like, Hey, we're going back to
- 15:23Speaker 4: my room and then there's two camera crews following you
- 15:25Speaker 4: and it's just like the four of you in your
- 15:27Speaker 4: room together. I actually think it would be more common
- 15:30Speaker 4: to make out on a sunny love seat with thirty
- 15:34Speaker 4: people around that it would be with like you and
- 15:37Speaker 4: two camera guys.
- 15:38Speaker 2: No, I understand. I'm reading this article further, and they
- 15:41Speaker 2: say that each person will have one roommate, but they
- 15:43Speaker 2: won't be sleeping in bunk beds and there will be
- 15:45Speaker 2: a VIP suite available much similar to the Boom Boom
- 15:48Speaker 2: Room for special quote quote occasions, to get a loan,
- 15:52Speaker 2: time with a proviential love interests. This room has a
- 15:58Speaker 2: real private pool, It's on the top floor with a
- 16:01Speaker 2: jacuzzie and a full on kitchen, huge balconies. It is, Yes,
- 16:07Speaker 2: they're saying, like the Boom Boom Room, but a lot nicer.
- 16:10Speaker 3: I mean it's helpful.
- 16:12Speaker 4: It is helpful, and I've always respected like the Jaden
- 16:14Speaker 4: Tanner move, where they just pretty much call the Boom
- 16:17Speaker 4: Boom Room their own because they're like, I know, we're
- 16:19Speaker 4: getting married, we love each other and it's the only
- 16:21Speaker 4: place that's air conditioned, and so we're just going to
- 16:24Speaker 4: call it our own.
- 16:25Speaker 2: But they didn't sleep together for quite some time, sure
- 16:28Speaker 2: the room.
- 16:28Speaker 4: But yeah, but like it was smart, it was a
- 16:31Speaker 4: good move. I've always appreciated it. Next headline is this, Well,
- 16:35Speaker 4: I guess we'll close that and say we're looking forward
- 16:37Speaker 4: to Paradise. I think it's going to be different, it's
- 16:40Speaker 4: going to be interesting. I am excited to watch the changes.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I hope the changes are good because I do believe
- 16:48Speaker 4: it is one of our biggest chances to see The
- 16:52Speaker 4: Bachelor return next year is if Paradise does well this year,
- 16:55Speaker 4: So it's there's a lot riding on it.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Ben did Wells tell you anything about the accommodations.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Not necessarily. We didn't talk too much of honestly about Paradise.
- 17:05Speaker 4: It's I usually try not to because you know, it's
- 17:09Speaker 4: his job and he has an NDA. But he did
- 17:11Speaker 4: say that it rained a lot, that it was really hot,
- 17:15Speaker 4: really humid, and that was about I mean, that's all
- 17:20Speaker 4: I really do remember. I don't know anything about relationships
- 17:24Speaker 4: that went on, people that came or went.
- 17:28Speaker 3: He did say there was a lot of twists.
- 17:30Speaker 4: It like was different than years before, which I think
- 17:33Speaker 4: has already been talked about like that it's going to
- 17:35Speaker 4: change it up quite a bit for this year.
- 17:39Speaker 3: But no, I did not get a lot.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Of like juicy details, okay, and it makes it harder
- 17:45Speaker 4: to do this show when I do years past, I've
- 17:47Speaker 4: gotten juicy details, and then I'm like lying to everybody
- 17:49Speaker 4: the whole time being like.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't really know what happened. I didn't have
- 17:52Speaker 3: no clue what happened.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Nick Viile looks back on uncomfortable moment with the Valleys
- 18:09Speaker 4: Jasmine Good on The Bachelor.
- 18:12Speaker 2: This is interesting. So obviously Nick does a lot of
- 18:17Speaker 2: recapping of the Bravo shows, the Valley being one of them,
- 18:19Speaker 2: and his former cast the former cast member from his season, Jasmine,
- 18:24Speaker 2: has been on it. And he said on his podcast
- 18:27Speaker 2: that he would love an apology from Jasmine because he's
- 18:30Speaker 2: still triggered from the time that she was on his
- 18:34Speaker 2: season and she was trying to express anger towards him
- 18:38Speaker 2: because she was frustrated by not getting one on one
- 18:41Speaker 2: so she put her hand on Nick's throats. I remember
- 18:44Speaker 2: the moment. It was bizarre, and she's just like, your
- 18:49Speaker 2: behavior makes me want to choke you, and apparently he
- 18:53Speaker 2: still wants an apology for it.
- 18:56Speaker 4: Good for him for even remembering what people did during
- 18:58Speaker 4: his season. Somebody was asking me that this weekend about
- 19:01Speaker 4: my time on The Bachelor. I'm like, I don't remember
- 19:03Speaker 4: half of it.
- 19:04Speaker 2: I couldn't tell you, Like now you've been saying that
- 19:07Speaker 2: that's what also Molly was saying or anything.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I guess it's just been like so far removed. But
- 19:15Speaker 4: I'm sure he could get one. I'm sure she doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 4: think twice about it, or if she does, it's one
- 19:19Speaker 4: of those moments that she's like, I wish I wouldn't
- 19:21Speaker 4: have done that.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she probably had. It's one of those moments
- 19:23Speaker 2: where she lies in bed at night and then it
- 19:24Speaker 2: pops in her head and she's like, oh my god,
- 19:26Speaker 2: oh my god, my god, suppressed memories.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Yeah, well, how do I do these things? Hey, we
- 19:31Speaker 4: have update on the Clayton Eckered not trial. But we
- 19:36Speaker 4: have some updates on the pre trial hearing for Laura Owens,
- 19:43Speaker 4: the woman that allegedly lied about pregnancy with the former
- 19:46Speaker 4: Bachelor star. Her arraignment is scheduled. Ashley, what do we know?
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so we do know. We talked about it that
- 19:53Speaker 2: earlier this month, Americopa County grand Jury did indict her
- 19:57Speaker 2: on several felony charges, including fraudulent schemes, forgery, and perjury.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Now there is we're waiting to hear about how she's
- 20:08Speaker 2: going to get sentenced. She did enter a not guilty
- 20:11Speaker 2: plea in court on Thursday. She wasn't present in the courtroom,
- 20:15Speaker 2: but she appeared virtually and the prosecutors are saying that
- 20:19Speaker 2: she went to extreme links to manipulate Clayton. We will
- 20:23Speaker 2: know more at a pre trial hearing, which is scheduled
- 20:25Speaker 2: for July eleventh. The real trial will begin on October
- 20:31Speaker 2: twenty third.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Teresa Niss's life is updated after her breakup and also
- 20:37Speaker 4: we find out if she had paradise fomo oh.
- 20:41Speaker 2: She was on a podcast this week and she said
- 20:45Speaker 2: that Gary recently called her before going news with the
- 20:48Speaker 2: public that he has a new girlfriend, and she said
- 20:52Speaker 2: that she wishes the best for him, but that was
- 20:53Speaker 2: very polite of him to do, and she said that
- 20:58Speaker 2: she has a wonderful relationship of friendship with her runner up, Leslie,
- 21:02Speaker 2: and Leslie is on paradise and well, Teresa said that
- 21:07Speaker 2: appearing on Paradise wasn't for her. We don't know whether
- 21:10Speaker 2: she was asked or not, but she said that it.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Wasn't for her.
- 21:12Speaker 2: She says she's ready to cheer on her friend as
- 21:15Speaker 2: she goes on the beach, and she did say that
- 21:17Speaker 2: she has a bit of fomo but is excited to
- 21:20Speaker 2: go to the watch party at Leslie's house and watch
- 21:23Speaker 2: her journey. So I mean, yeah, we don't know whether
- 21:26Speaker 2: she said yes or no, and Teresa totally should have
- 21:29Speaker 2: said yes, but I understand that's she's gone through a
- 21:34Speaker 2: lot with the show in the best year and a
- 21:35Speaker 2: half two years.
- 21:36Speaker 4: But when we talked to her last it sounded like
- 21:38Speaker 4: she wanted to be back out there in the public.
- 21:41Speaker 4: So it's shocking that she would say no. In fact,
- 21:43Speaker 4: I would have her, Yeah, it would. It's a big
- 21:47Speaker 4: name from that season, maybe the biggest. So kind of
- 21:50Speaker 4: interesting that she is now saying she was not there. Actually,
- 21:55Speaker 4: Rachel kirconnell is talking about Matt James. She went on
- 21:59Speaker 4: a podcast called The Squeeze. Her quote is that she
- 22:03Speaker 4: once to remained friends with Matt James. I don't think
- 22:06Speaker 4: that's the most interesting part here. I think most exes
- 22:11Speaker 4: that end the relationship in some type of healthy way,
- 22:15Speaker 4: and it sounds like they did even from her interview
- 22:19Speaker 4: interviews right after the breakup, would say publicly they want
- 22:23Speaker 4: to remain friends. I mean, what other option do you have?
- 22:25Speaker 4: You want to say no, I never want to talk
- 22:26Speaker 4: to that person again. But I think the most interesting
- 22:32Speaker 4: part is that she's still emotional as she reflects back
- 22:37Speaker 4: on her relationship with Matt James, because it feels like
- 22:41Speaker 4: there is still this not maybe love poll, but there
- 22:43Speaker 4: is this poll towards him and that time together.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Yeah, the Squeeze is Taylor and Taylor Lotner's Taylor's Time Too,
- 22:52Speaker 2: Lotner's podcast, and on it, she said, people are going
- 22:56Speaker 2: to kill me for this, but I do wish on
- 22:58Speaker 2: some level we could be friends because he was my
- 23:00Speaker 2: best friend. So it sounds as if they're not actually
- 23:03Speaker 2: friends right now, but she would like to be. She said,
- 23:08Speaker 2: I'm trying not to cry, and of course he was
- 23:11Speaker 2: my best friend for years and we're friends. We were
- 23:14Speaker 2: friends before boyfriend and girlfriend in our relationship, not like
- 23:17Speaker 2: every relationship is like that. And for me at times,
- 23:20Speaker 2: I was like, it really does just seem like we're
- 23:23Speaker 2: best friends and again. So many relationships are different, and
- 23:25Speaker 2: I love that, but I want all my relationship to
- 23:28Speaker 2: feel like the man that I'm dating is actually my
- 23:31Speaker 2: best friend. First, she said that there's part of me
- 23:37Speaker 2: that will always be rooting for him, and we'll hope
- 23:39Speaker 2: that he's doing okay. I would love to maybe some
- 23:42Speaker 2: days someday, not anytime soon. Don't worry, guys, but like
- 23:46Speaker 2: have a catch up. If we run into each other
- 23:48Speaker 2: at event, I would love to be able to sit
- 23:50Speaker 2: down have a conversation. I'll laugh a catch up. I
- 23:53Speaker 2: don't think either of us will have any bad blood,
- 23:57Speaker 2: so maybe when we're ready to be like fully moved on,
- 24:00Speaker 2: that's something that we can do. Well.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Yeah, one of the breakdowns from her interviews was that
- 24:05Speaker 4: he was still calling her. I think he probably sounds
- 24:07Speaker 4: like got the hint and stopped calling her, so it
- 24:10Speaker 4: doesn't sound like they're speaking very often, which is healthy
- 24:14Speaker 4: for a breakup. No matter where and how you break up,
- 24:17Speaker 4: I think it's healthy to cut ties for a period
- 24:19Speaker 4: of time and allow both people to move on and
- 24:21Speaker 4: get their lives back in order. And Rachel's definitely done that.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Goodness gracious, she's blown up since the breakup. She's everywhere
- 24:29Speaker 4: now speaking to somebody who's everywhere. This person was also
- 24:33Speaker 4: in Paradise. Hannah Brown celebrated her bachelorette party in Florida.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Hannah posted distant Instagram the house that they stayed at,
- 24:42Speaker 2: and she was like, bachelorettes in your thirties are different
- 24:45Speaker 2: than bachelorettes in your your twenties. You just like kind
- 24:49Speaker 2: of want to sit in a nice house with your girls.
- 24:53Speaker 2: And it's not about like going out and partying. It's
- 24:55Speaker 2: more about like being in a house and having good
- 24:57Speaker 2: conversations and good food. And that's what she did. Her
- 25:01Speaker 2: wedding is coming up any well, I feel like in
- 25:05Speaker 2: a month or so. And they did like a little
- 25:08Speaker 2: fun dress up nights. They did a Hannah era. It
- 25:12Speaker 2: was like dress up as your favorite or different Hannah era,
- 25:16Speaker 2: you know, like her pageant era, her bachelorette era, her
- 25:19Speaker 2: wedding era. And the only other Bachelor Nation friend that
- 25:23Speaker 2: was there was Heather Martin, and she dressed up as
- 25:27Speaker 2: bachelorette Hannah. She was holding a rose in a red gown.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah, they've been friends for a long time, very close.
- 25:35Speaker 4: The final headline is this Jin Tran reveals she's a mom.
- 25:42Speaker 2: She says, I've been keeping a secret for you guys
- 25:44Speaker 2: for like half an hour. I'm a mom. I'm a mom.
- 25:47Speaker 2: And then she pans over and she shows her new
- 25:49Speaker 2: adorable kitten. It's a foster cat. She said, she might
- 25:53Speaker 2: end up adopting her. I don't know what to name
- 25:55Speaker 2: her right now. We'll just kind of see what her
- 25:57Speaker 2: personality's like. But right now she's seeming very brave, very smart,
- 26:01Speaker 2: and friendly, she said. Usually when I foster kittens, which
- 26:06Speaker 2: she's been doing now for a couple of years, the
- 26:08Speaker 2: very skendition scared. But I met her half an hour
- 26:11Speaker 2: ago and she's already warmed up to me. Very adorable,
- 26:15Speaker 2: very very sweet.
- 26:16Speaker 3: It's very sweet. Hey, those are the big headlines we
- 26:18Speaker 3: have this.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Week for you. We will continue to bring headlines your
- 26:22Speaker 4: way week to week because there are always things happening
- 26:26Speaker 4: in Bachelor Nation.
