- 0:08Speaker 1: Scalable advice spice Hellollolloallo. Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nisha.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your host, drop Shooter, and it is Friday. It's
- 0:18Speaker 1: a special edition of the show. Our friend Corey is
- 0:21Speaker 1: off today because I am in DC still with my
- 0:25Speaker 1: dear friend Mindy Barnett, who has an amazing book that
- 0:30Speaker 1: you should all check out. It's called You Don't Need
- 0:34Speaker 1: to Be a Bitch to Be a Boss. Hello, Mindy,
- 0:37Speaker 1: Welcome to the show, Hill Rob, It's so amazing to
- 0:40Speaker 1: be here with beer. Let me tell you a little
- 0:43Speaker 1: bit about my friendship with Mindy. So Mindy and I
- 0:47Speaker 1: met several years ago when I was looking for a
- 0:48Speaker 1: publisher for my book and a friend of as a
- 0:51Speaker 1: mutual friend hooked us up and literally within maybe twenty minutes,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I got a book deal because of Mindy's kindness. So
- 1:00Speaker 1: thank you for that. I'm not sure I've ever said
- 1:01Speaker 1: thank you personally. And then, on top of that, because
- 1:04Speaker 1: my fairy godmother is amazing, Mindy also got us this
- 1:09Speaker 1: gig in DC talking at Georgetown University that we did yesterday.
- 1:14Speaker 1: We were pretty maybe I'm even inclined to go back
- 1:16Speaker 1: to school. Yeah, it felt like initially I had. Is
- 1:21Speaker 1: it called impostor syndrome and where you feel like you
- 1:26Speaker 1: shouldn't be out of place? I felt like Elwoods Havard,
- 1:30Speaker 1: you know this stuff. It's amazing in life, how much
- 1:33Speaker 1: you really do know the experience that you pick up.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It's so true. I mean, I'm actually in graduate school
- 1:39Speaker 1: and a lot of what we talk about is that
- 1:41Speaker 1: wife experience versus book experience. Thank you Georgetown University. Hey,
- 1:46Speaker 1: let's jump into the show. What time is it? My friends? Altogether, Mindy,
- 1:48Speaker 1: We have lots of audience participation on this show. So
- 1:51Speaker 1: when I say it's tea time, we all sing along.
- 1:54Speaker 1: What time is it? My friend? It is time? Thank
- 1:56Speaker 1: you very much. Big story at the top of the show.
- 1:59Speaker 1: So Kate Middleton was actually relieved that Meghan Marcole is
- 2:02Speaker 1: skipping the coronation. So Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Meghan
- 2:08Speaker 1: Markole won't be attending King Charles's coronation next month, and
- 2:13Speaker 1: reportedly at least one royal is relieved by this news.
- 2:17Speaker 1: That would be Kate Middleton, who is said to be
- 2:20Speaker 1: pleased that she won't have to face Megan come face
- 2:23Speaker 1: to face with her after all that she's said about
- 2:25Speaker 1: her in the book. Now, let's be clear here, Meghan
- 2:28Speaker 1: didn't say Harry did, although they are a pair. But
- 2:32Speaker 1: my sources are telling me that one person that's upset
- 2:36Speaker 1: about this is King Charles. You have to remember, he's
- 2:39Speaker 1: still their dad. He totally loves both his sons. He's
- 2:43Speaker 1: so happy, happy, happy that Harry's going, but upset that
- 2:47Speaker 1: Megan isn't going to be there. Meghan incidentally, is going
- 2:49Speaker 1: to be staying home in California with their children Archie,
- 2:53Speaker 1: Prince Archie and Princess Lillibit. They now officially have those titles.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Mindsiders in London are telling me they expect Harry will
- 3:02Speaker 1: be in and out. In fact, in London they've nicknamed
- 3:06Speaker 1: him Harry in a Hurry because he's going to be
- 3:09Speaker 1: hurrying in and then hurrying. Mindy, what do you think
- 3:12Speaker 1: about this? I don't think she should go because I
- 3:15Speaker 1: think she's basically kind of severed herself from the palace,
- 3:18Speaker 1: so why should she go for the happy times when
- 3:20Speaker 1: she doesn't want to be a part of what she
- 3:22Speaker 1: calls drama and all that other good stuff as well.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I think you make a really good point here, because
- 3:26Speaker 1: if she went, should be called a hypocrite career. I mean, yeah,
- 3:30Speaker 1: clearly there's a lot that's going on here. Sources actually
- 3:33Speaker 1: say that Meghan really weighed this very carefully. She thought
- 3:37Speaker 1: of the pros, she thought of the cons, And I
- 3:40Speaker 1: think that's a really good thing to do in life.
- 3:42Speaker 1: When I have to make a difficult decision, I often
- 3:45Speaker 1: pull out a piece of paper and I write the
- 3:47Speaker 1: good and the bad, and I see which one ultimately
- 3:50Speaker 1: wins the day. So I think Megan is making the
- 3:53Speaker 1: right decision. But what we care about on this show
- 3:55Speaker 1: is what do you think which brings us to our
- 3:57Speaker 1: polar the day? Prince Harry will attend Daddy King Charles's
- 4:02Speaker 1: coronation without Megan Markle. Are they making the right choice?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Take a vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
- 4:11Speaker 1: A Facebook page is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to
- 4:14Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. Haymandy, what are
- 4:19Speaker 1: you working on? All right? I have some really good
- 4:22Speaker 1: youth about Andy Cohen. He's dragging Howie Mandel's com Sandoval's interview.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Listen to this. This is so good. So Andy Cohen
- 4:31Speaker 1: laughed at Howe Mendel's interview with Tom saying that the
- 4:35Speaker 1: podcast host didn't do his homework. Quote. Cohen accused Howie
- 4:40Speaker 1: pf quote not knowing what he was getting himself into.
- 4:44Speaker 1: End quote when he spoke to Tom, Howie, you have
- 4:49Speaker 1: to be careful before you take a side. He continued
- 4:52Speaker 1: on Bravo, fans are very passionate. It's true. They are loyal, loyal,
- 4:59Speaker 1: loyal and superheated. Likely dragged Tom for his interview. Quote,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what a weird first interview, like the game show host,
- 5:09Speaker 1: She added, It's so strange and so off brand. What
- 5:13Speaker 1: an odd choice. It wasn't od choice, wasn't it? It
- 5:16Speaker 1: was this story a little bit weird, blown up. So
- 5:19Speaker 1: as a publicist, mindy, as well as an author, you've
- 5:21Speaker 1: represented a lot of people. If you were representing Tom,
- 5:24Speaker 1: who really is on the cover of newspapers at the moment,
- 5:27Speaker 1: all over the websites, all over the blogs, this was
- 5:31Speaker 1: an unusual choice to do it. How he actually explains
- 5:35Speaker 1: how it all happened. Yes, So he's basically saying, listen,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I don't watch Bernard pump rolls and I don't either.
- 5:42Speaker 1: By the way, I know what it is. I met
- 5:46Speaker 1: Tom at a wedding. He's a friend of a friend.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I saw a scandal wall thing going into this normal
- 5:51Speaker 1: news cycle and it was big. And then as for
- 5:55Speaker 1: claims by Andy that he didn't quote do his homework,
- 5:58Speaker 1: Mendell responded, I don't need to do homework. I wasn't
- 6:01Speaker 1: going to weaponize this information and challenge him on each thing.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It's not a deposition, it's a podcast, right, right, am
- 6:09Speaker 1: I right? He makes a really good point here that
- 6:12Speaker 1: Harry just had Tom on just to chat. Obviously it's
- 6:16Speaker 1: in the new citle. I do think that we've interviewed
- 6:19Speaker 1: a lot of people over our careers. I think sometimes
- 6:23Speaker 1: that not knowing everything give us a better interview because
- 6:28Speaker 1: it allows people in who are not just inside the
- 6:33Speaker 1: baseball crowd of this. So there's fans of Brother who
- 6:36Speaker 1: watch this show and know every single detail, and then
- 6:38Speaker 1: there's people like you and me, Mindy, who don't watch
- 6:40Speaker 1: the show religiously all at all. But I'm aware of
- 6:43Speaker 1: what this scandal is, so I thought it is weird
- 6:46Speaker 1: of Andy to go after Howe, although mindsders are telling
- 6:49Speaker 1: me what's really going on here is that Brother did
- 6:52Speaker 1: not approve this interview and he wanted the first interview,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and the fact he sat down with Howie Mandell and
- 7:00Speaker 1: usual choice. He could have been on the Today's Show.
- 7:02Speaker 1: He could have been on Jay. This is a huge story.
- 7:04Speaker 1: The factor ended up on how Is podcast is probably
- 7:08Speaker 1: what's going on. Hey. Moving along, Kelly Ripper is talking
- 7:11Speaker 1: about her marriage to Mark and now co hosting Live Together,
- 7:16Speaker 1: which they start on April seventeen. I cannot wait, can
- 7:20Speaker 1: not wait, so she said, to have Mark joined me
- 7:22Speaker 1: at that desk every day, it's like a dream come true.
- 7:26Speaker 1: She said, We're really very blessed, but it is going
- 7:29Speaker 1: to go off the rails. Mark said, I'm super, super grateful.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Kelly admitted when she first met Mark back in nineteen
- 7:38Speaker 1: ninety four, a casting director shared her a photograph of Mark.
- 7:42Speaker 1: He was a budding actor at the time, up for
- 7:44Speaker 1: a role opposite Kelly, and she said, I'm a very
- 7:47Speaker 1: practical person, but there was something about him. She said,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I was like, Oh my gosh, that's my person. This
- 7:55Speaker 1: is my husband, my future hubs. She was right. They'd
- 7:59Speaker 1: been married is a long time. Do you think they're
- 8:01Speaker 1: taking a risk working together? No, I don't because they
- 8:05Speaker 1: have worked together and he co hosts that show quite
- 8:07Speaker 1: a bit, and the chemistry is so strong and they
- 8:09Speaker 1: all like that production company together, and I think they
- 8:13Speaker 1: have the greatest relationship and shoos the new podcast have
- 8:15Speaker 1: you heard of? Ye? Yes, Yeah, I like these two together.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I've interviewed him several times. He's so good looking. They
- 8:24Speaker 1: both are so cute. I'm excited about it. I want
- 8:29Speaker 1: to guess those mornings when he's in the doghouse, when
- 8:32Speaker 1: he hasn't taken the trash out, when he's been snoring
- 8:35Speaker 1: too loud. I hope it all plays out on TV.
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm really looking forward to it. We'll bring you the ratings,
- 8:40Speaker 1: so I'll get the ratings earlier, within the first couple
- 8:42Speaker 1: of days, so let's see if this is a huge
- 8:45Speaker 1: rating success. I'm going to predict right now we'll save
- 8:47Speaker 1: the tape that the first show is going to be massive.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I agree, I definitely do. I wonder who they're going
- 8:53Speaker 1: to have it on. I don't even think they need
- 8:56Speaker 1: a guest. I think I just watched these two for
- 8:58Speaker 1: an hour. I just want to see these too for
- 9:00Speaker 1: I know. I love the host child so into it. Hey, congratulations,
- 9:04Speaker 1: end quickly before we go to break. Joe Alwyn, who
- 9:07Speaker 1: is Taylor Swift's x NOW, has landed a new movie role.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So this is just a few days after the breakup
- 9:16Speaker 1: was announced. The British actor who's thirty two, has landed
- 9:19Speaker 1: a role in the upcoming film The Brutalist, who, according
- 9:23Speaker 1: to a new press release, is going to be working
- 9:25Speaker 1: alongside Academy Award winner Adrian Brody Guy Pers and it's
- 9:30Speaker 1: already started filming. He's in Hungary now. Taylor too, she's
- 9:34Speaker 1: busy on her tour. We spotted her just a few
- 9:37Speaker 1: days ago in New York City. Now, these two are
- 9:40Speaker 1: very private about their relationships. But I do think throwing
- 9:43Speaker 1: yourself into a project into work after a breakup is
- 9:48Speaker 1: a good idea. What threatment, I don't think. So why
- 9:50Speaker 1: not a breakup throwing yourself back into work because you
- 9:53Speaker 1: need to mourn the relationship. It's good and bad. She's
- 9:57Speaker 1: going to stay busy and she's going to distract herself,
- 9:59Speaker 1: hopefully in a productive way. But I think she does
- 10:02Speaker 1: need to mourn. I think she needs to be human
- 10:03Speaker 1: being for a little bit, and just like and they
- 10:06Speaker 1: kind of bask in that moment so that you can
- 10:08Speaker 1: go back out there and be one hundred and fifty
- 10:10Speaker 1: percentful of Yeah. I love different perspectives of this. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: never thought about that. Maybe they do need a minute
- 10:16Speaker 1: off to mourn. I keep myself busy, which maybe covers
- 10:19Speaker 1: up the fact that I don't want to deal with
- 10:21Speaker 1: all those emotions, but I do too rop and it's
- 10:23Speaker 1: like a drug, right, Yeah, No, it's better than a
- 10:27Speaker 1: destructive like because some people go on benders, they drink
- 10:29Speaker 1: too much, they eat too much, they do all sorts
- 10:32Speaker 1: of other things. So I guess working is better than that.
- 10:34Speaker 1: But I think you're probably right when Mindy, you've convinced
- 10:37Speaker 1: me here that maybe this isn't such a unidea after all.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Let us know what you think. We're going to take
- 10:43Speaker 1: a quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I'm not even sure I'm from. Mindy was still in DC.
- 10:51Speaker 1: It is beautiful here. I love it here. We missed
- 10:54Speaker 1: the cherry blossom. It's such an amazing city. I came
- 10:59Speaker 1: down by trade a couple of days ago, and the
- 11:01Speaker 1: minute you walk out of Union Station you see the
- 11:04Speaker 1: dome of the Capitol. It looks like a movie that's
- 11:08Speaker 1: a Hollywood back lot, but no, it's here in DC.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Next time we come into we have to spend more
- 11:13Speaker 1: time so we can do some too uristy things instead
- 11:15Speaker 1: of work, work quick. Let's jump right back in. Where
- 11:17Speaker 1: were we Let's get to the poles. So Tom from
- 11:22Speaker 1: Vanda Pump Rules blindsided Bravo with this new interview. There
- 11:27Speaker 1: was a report in the Sun the Bravo did not
- 11:29Speaker 1: know he was doing this. This was not an approved
- 11:32Speaker 1: interview by Bravo. Bravo runs all their talents, that PR
- 11:36Speaker 1: department at Bravo with a really really strict hand. You
- 11:41Speaker 1: have to get permission from Bravo to do interviews. It's
- 11:44Speaker 1: in your contract. You have to do all the interviews
- 11:46Speaker 1: they want. But if you have a friend or if
- 11:48Speaker 1: you have a show you want to get on and
- 11:50Speaker 1: it's not Bravo approved, you cannot do it. So I think,
- 11:53Speaker 1: here Tom doing how I caught everybody by surprise. At
- 11:56Speaker 1: least that's what the Sun is saying. And they do
- 11:58Speaker 1: have these PR strata years. They did not want this
- 12:01Speaker 1: interview to happen until after the reunion, the first conversation
- 12:06Speaker 1: about this to be on Bravo. So I don't think
- 12:09Speaker 1: how his podcast has probably hurt. But what hasn't made
- 12:12Speaker 1: them very worried is our other loose Cannons is a
- 12:15Speaker 1: housewife now going to pop up on a show that
- 12:19Speaker 1: isn't helpful to brother. So they're very angry about this.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Our question was he might be fined. They sometimes knock
- 12:25Speaker 1: money out of your salary. Really, if you I know
- 12:29Speaker 1: a housewife who did an unapproved show, it wasn't mine,
- 12:32Speaker 1: so don't be angry. But she did another approved show
- 12:34Speaker 1: and she had money doctor out of her salary. They
- 12:37Speaker 1: were furious. So our question is should he be fired?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I know this is a really tough question. Should he
- 12:43Speaker 1: be fired? Part of me is like, if you sign
- 12:45Speaker 1: a contract and you work for a company, you have
- 12:47Speaker 1: to play by the rules. Me and you would get
- 12:49Speaker 1: fired for this if we broke. So let's have a
- 12:53Speaker 1: look at the results. Forty percent said yes, So the
- 12:56Speaker 1: majority say no, we have to go. If you don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's pole Twitter pay Eat Johant,
- 13:04Speaker 1: naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook pay which is naught.
- 13:07Speaker 1: He goes in, but I'm a sure to check back
- 13:10Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. And now it's time
- 13:16Speaker 1: for the nicest of the day. Oh, I love this story.
- 13:22Speaker 1: This is so good. All right, So Jeremy shared that
- 13:25Speaker 1: his mom wants to light his snowplow on fire after
- 13:29Speaker 1: it ran him over. But he will not allow it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Rob He's saying, no, it's a snow cat. It's a
- 13:35Speaker 1: snow cat. Oh, God forbid the snow cat. And it's
- 13:37Speaker 1: necessity on the property because he says they gets so
- 13:40Speaker 1: much snow up there. Renner said of the need of
- 13:44Speaker 1: his plow at his Reno, Nevada house. So he needs it.
- 13:47Speaker 1: He needs the plow. He needs it. I might need
- 13:49Speaker 1: it too if we ever get snow. My mom says,
- 13:52Speaker 1: quote to light it on fire and have a big
- 13:55Speaker 1: party lighting it on fire, like a big bonfire of
- 13:59Speaker 1: the snowplow. But the thing is amazing and I love it.
- 14:02Speaker 1: It's a necessity. I just gotta learn to drive that battery.
- 14:05Speaker 1: So I love He's going to sense a humor about it.
- 14:09Speaker 1: And he last lost his life that I did get
- 14:12Speaker 1: put back in. His eye popped out, so thankfully he
- 14:14Speaker 1: still think I have both of his eyes. But this
- 14:17Speaker 1: is so interesting. I totally get it. My mom would
- 14:20Speaker 1: want to burn to the ground anything that hurt me.
- 14:24Speaker 1: But he's saying no, he's going to keep it. I'm
- 14:26Speaker 1: not sure I could keep it. This was interesting. We
- 14:29Speaker 1: spoke about this not so long ago, when Jay Leno
- 14:33Speaker 1: trouble with his cars. Remember Jorge Clooney too, like he
- 14:36Speaker 1: got in trouble with his motorbike and he got rid
- 14:38Speaker 1: of his bike. George Clooney has never ever been on
- 14:41Speaker 1: a motorcycle since that accident. I don't think I would
- 14:45Speaker 1: want to drive this thing ever again, but Jeremy says
- 14:49Speaker 1: he does. So we're wishing you the best that Jeremy.
- 14:52Speaker 1: If this thing does accidentally catch on fire, I would
- 14:56Speaker 1: look towards your mom. I agree, and get your snow
- 15:01Speaker 1: shovels now, get your snow shuffles out. Hey, let's do
- 15:03Speaker 1: and naughties the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty. Melissa
- 15:07Speaker 1: Gorgo who's on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and
- 15:09Speaker 1: Andy Cohen are getting called out by fans every testy
- 15:14Speaker 1: exchange they had on Watch What Happens Live, So brother fans,
- 15:19Speaker 1: they couldn't help but to notice that Melissa and Andy
- 15:22Speaker 1: got in a real testy exchange on his show was live,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and Andy said, but he does not think he's going
- 15:29Speaker 1: to get a resolution between all the drama between Melissa
- 15:32Speaker 1: and her sister in lure, Teresa Judici. During the upcoming reunion.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Gorga said, that's fair because you're not a therapist, right,
- 15:42Speaker 1: You're not certified. Andy was visibly taken back by this
- 15:47Speaker 1: and said, okay, let's not question my credentials. And Melissa
- 15:53Speaker 1: didn't let it go. She said, I'm just saying and
- 15:56Speaker 1: he said, no, after sixteen years of thing doing this,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I think I have some idea of what I'm doing.
- 16:06Speaker 1: So he really took offense by this. You know, I
- 16:08Speaker 1: like sometimes when you say something quite innocently but it
- 16:11Speaker 1: upsets somebody else. Yeah, you've got to read the room.
- 16:14Speaker 1: You've got to read I say stuff all the time
- 16:16Speaker 1: and it's quite naughty, and so I've upset people that
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't mean to. And when I want to upset somebody,
- 16:21Speaker 1: they don't care. So you sort of can't win here.
- 16:23Speaker 1: But it's interesting that Melissa's you're not a therapist. And
- 16:27Speaker 1: I think Andy, you do a brilliant job at hosting
- 16:29Speaker 1: these shows, these reunion shows. You do a great job
- 16:32Speaker 1: at hosting your own show. But I don't know. I
- 16:34Speaker 1: think Melissa's onto something here. You shouldn't be given relationship advice.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You can give TV advice. You're a brilliant producer. Andy,
- 16:41Speaker 1: But you're not a therapist. You're not. What do you
- 16:43Speaker 1: think about that, Mindy? I agree completely. You have to
- 16:46Speaker 1: take input from others and know more about maybe what's
- 16:48Speaker 1: going on in the family dynamics and things like that. Yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 1: because it's not just a reality show, it's a real family,
- 16:54Speaker 1: and Andy might give great advice on how to make
- 16:56Speaker 1: this a really delicious, really scandalous, really naughty TV show.
- 17:00Speaker 1: He does, but it also too is a real family
- 17:03Speaker 1: and they I think they need some professional help. Hey,
- 17:06Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of rob You go, rub.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I stole that from Oprah Indy, So for fifteen twenty minutes,
- 17:12Speaker 1: we love to gossip about celebrities, but for a moment,
- 17:14Speaker 1: we're just a little bit more deep. Today's moment of
- 17:18Speaker 1: rub When you can't unfriend them and you can't cut
- 17:22Speaker 1: them out of your life, I think I'm talking about
- 17:25Speaker 1: family members here. The only answer is empathy. So when
- 17:29Speaker 1: someone's really rude to you, and someone's mean to you
- 17:31Speaker 1: and you just can't get rid of them. We always say,
- 17:34Speaker 1: if they can't be nice, walk away, But what happens
- 17:37Speaker 1: when you can't walk away? Instead of getting hurt, get
- 17:41Speaker 1: empathetic when they can't show kindness, you must. This does
- 17:48Speaker 1: not excuse what they are doing for one second, but
