- 1:06Speaker 1: Woo, woo. Hannah McDonald.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Juicy Scoop.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I am back from
- 1:16Speaker 1: my Napa Valley weekend and boy was it fun. I'm
- 1:20Speaker 1: going to tell you the whole deal. So it was
- 1:23Speaker 1: Brandy and Julie, who you know from my show, Justin
- 1:26Speaker 1: Martindale and his boyfriend Evan and my friend Liz and
- 1:28Speaker 1: Mark and of course Peter. So we went up Thursday,
- 1:32Speaker 1: checked into our VRBO, which was very nice. It was
- 1:35Speaker 1: just like a housewives moment where everyone went ran to
- 1:38Speaker 1: the rooms. Justin, I'd sent him the, um, the RBO
- 1:41Speaker 1: and he had already picked out his room and all
- 1:43Speaker 1: the rooms were a name. I got Chardonnay. Uh, Justin
- 1:48Speaker 1: got Cabernet. Um, there were like little kid rooms upstairs
- 1:53Speaker 1: that were like petite Syrah. Anyway, so we get our
- 1:56Speaker 1: room and we go to Brasswood in Napa Valley. It
- 1:59Speaker 1: is a beautiful restaurant and cafe and winery. And we
- 2:04Speaker 1: had so much fun. I thought that was going to
- 2:06Speaker 1: be a mellow night. Like I was like, Oh, have
- 2:08Speaker 1: a beautiful glass of wine and, you know, nice salad. No,
- 2:11Speaker 1: we stayed so long. The owner, Marcus, was crazy amazing.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Like it was literally out of a movie. So we
- 2:18Speaker 1: eat in the restaurant, then we go outside to the
- 2:20Speaker 1: garden and the guys are having cigars. Then like an
- 2:25Speaker 1: extra pizza comes out, even like a second dinner. Then
- 2:28Speaker 1: we go into like this wine cave and then to
- 2:32Speaker 1: this other place and to the sitting room. And it
- 2:35Speaker 1: was just a lot of red wine. Next morning, wake up,
- 2:39Speaker 1: have to get ready for my shows, but we still
- 2:40Speaker 1: go to Pride Winery in honor of Pride Month, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: it's been called Pride for a long time. And then
- 2:46Speaker 1: we went to Raymond, which is really fun. And then
- 2:49Speaker 1: I got on stage. And it's not the greatest photo
- 2:52Speaker 1: of me, but it's the only one I have for
- 2:54Speaker 1: me being on stage. Thank you, Lisa. And the outfit
- 2:58Speaker 1: was cuter when the jacket was closed.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Then wake up, wake up. Peter and I go for
- 3:03Speaker 1: a walk. I mean, this is just like, listen, I've
- 3:05Speaker 1: got Brandon putting together a longer like TikTok to music
- 3:09Speaker 1: about what a fun weekend it was. Then we walked
- 3:11Speaker 1: around St. Helena and it's like, everything is so freaking cute.
- 3:14Speaker 1: There's a bunch of consignment stores and Peter and I
- 3:19Speaker 1: were thinking, maybe it's like, you're the rich wife. Your
- 3:22Speaker 1: husband is the Silicon Valley billionaire and you got to
- 3:25Speaker 1: show a couple losses. So take your rich person clothes.
- 3:29Speaker 1: and sell it at these consignment stores. Tell me, have
- 3:31Speaker 1: you not noticed that if you've gone into Napa or St. Helena's?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Because the stores are open from 12 to 5 on
- 3:37Speaker 1: a Saturday. Doesn't sound like a real hungry entrepreneur is
- 3:42Speaker 1: working that store. Anyway, walk around, go to Oprah's cute
- 3:46Speaker 1: bakery place called Model Bakery, the best English muffin in
- 3:50Speaker 1: the world.
- 3:51Speaker 7: Eat.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Now we're in the Sprinter van and we are going
- 3:54Speaker 1: to Rumbauer. Todd showed us everything. This was so beautiful.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I was harassed by the paparazzi, which was like super annoying.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I guess they knew I was going there. And then
- 4:04Speaker 1: I had, they call Rumbauer. They have three names that
- 4:08Speaker 1: they call it. They call it Mombauer, Danville Crack, because
- 4:13Speaker 1: Danville is like a ritzy community in Northern California, and
- 4:16Speaker 1: my favorite, Housewife Heroine. And it really is. I love
- 4:20Speaker 1: their Chardonnay, but I loved their Sauvignon Blanc. I like
- 4:24Speaker 1: all the wines. It's a beautiful place. So we go there.
- 4:28Speaker 1: We go in the caves. We look at the barrels.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Then we went to Hall Winery. Oh, we ate lunch
- 4:33Speaker 1: at Brasswood in between. Went to Hall Winery, which felt
- 4:36Speaker 1: like a private estate. Drank a lot of red wine there. Oh,
- 4:40Speaker 1: my God. Just so much fun. Then came back to
- 4:44Speaker 1: the house and rallied. Went to dinner. Woke up the
- 4:48Speaker 1: next morning. Recapped the weekend. It was seriously like the
- 4:53Speaker 1: movie Wine Country, but with not all women. So fun.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Then it was Father's Day. Let's talk about Father's Day. Well,
- 5:01Speaker 1: Nick Cannon, as you know, he has nine children. A
- 5:06Speaker 1: couple on the way will make nine. And only six, wait,
- 5:12Speaker 1: let me see. Only a few of the baby mamas
- 5:15Speaker 1: wished him a happy Father's Day on Instagram. As you know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: if it doesn't happen on Instagram, it didn't happen at all.
- 5:20Speaker 1: You can't just pick up the phone or send a card.
- 5:22Speaker 1: You have to post about it. I did see a
- 5:26Speaker 1: very interesting TikTok about Nick Cannon in which there's a
- 5:30Speaker 1: theory going around that he suffers from some health issues. Apparently,
- 5:37Speaker 1: he has something I want to say, but whatever he has,
- 5:43Speaker 1: if it progresses, sometimes there's liver or sometimes there's kidney failure.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And so these people are wondering, is he having all
- 5:51Speaker 1: these kids in case one day he needs to get
- 5:55Speaker 1: an organ donation. I think it's kind of a stretch.
- 6:00Speaker 1: It might be like a happy, like, hey, I didn't
- 6:02Speaker 1: plan on having nine kids, but thank God if something
- 6:05Speaker 1: like that happens, like I got all these kids, I
- 6:07Speaker 1: don't know who's going to give it up. But anyway,
- 6:10Speaker 1: that's why I love TikTok. Lisa, who is married to
- 6:15Speaker 1: the plastic surgeon on Miami, she wasn't happy with her
- 6:19Speaker 1: situation on Father's Day. She took a gorgeous photo of
- 6:22Speaker 1: herself and her two cherub children And she wrote, Happy
- 6:25Speaker 1: Father's Day to all the amazing dads out there who
- 6:28Speaker 1: put their family first. But it's just her and her
- 6:31Speaker 1: two kids. She's the only one putting that family first.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So there's a lot of snark in there. Tristan Thomas. Thompson. Sorry.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Tristan Thompson. Hollywood Unlocked said that reportedly he has made
- 6:45Speaker 1: no immediate plans to meet his son, Theo, as morally
- 6:50Speaker 1: Nichols awaits child support payments. So I don't. know how
- 6:54Speaker 1: they know this I don't know what she did but
- 6:57Speaker 1: in the meantime he did see his daughter True who
- 6:59Speaker 1: has with Chloe and they went and had a cute
- 7:02Speaker 1: lunch and then Kris Jenner posted all the fathers in
- 7:07Speaker 1: her life which include of course Rob Travis who's Kylie's
- 7:13Speaker 1: baby daddy Caitlin who is Kendall and Kylie's baby daddy
- 7:21Speaker 1: no I mean father father Uh, the other Travis has
- 7:28Speaker 1: his kids with Courtney. I mean, with his other wife. Anyway,
- 7:32Speaker 1: who cares? You know what we got. We got Kanye.
- 7:36Speaker 1: We got Robert Kardashian senior, but it just kind of,
- 7:40Speaker 1: it was a lot. I do kind of wonder, cause
- 7:43Speaker 1: she's so organized. Kris Jenner is this, this has got
- 7:46Speaker 1: to be all planned ahead of time. She's not laying
- 7:49Speaker 1: in the bed like the rest of us, like finding
- 7:50Speaker 1: eight photos. Pretty great.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Okay.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Well, Rob Kardashian did get a Father's Day gift today
- 7:57Speaker 1: because I told you I've been following the Rob and
- 8:01Speaker 1: Shaina trial. And my boy, Steven Mango, was getting his
- 8:06Speaker 1: cute court look together when he found out online they
- 8:10Speaker 1: are not starting the trial today. They have settled. So
- 8:15Speaker 1: the jurors were sent home. I don't know what the
- 8:18Speaker 1: settlement is. I assume we won't know that's usually, but
- 8:22Speaker 1: I think it's very wise on everyone's part. This was sad.
- 8:27Speaker 1: As you know, Wendy Williams is finishing and some people
- 8:29Speaker 1: were really disappointed in the way that they concluded that
- 8:32Speaker 1: last show of Wendy. Now they'll have a little break.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And then in the fall, we'll start with Sherry Shepard.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Sherry Shepard said some nice words, but Wendy wasn't there.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And now staffers are telling page six that they're just
- 8:46Speaker 1: going to throw out anything that she didn't pick up,
- 8:48Speaker 1: which is, nothing. She there's her wigs are going to
- 8:51Speaker 1: get tossed and the iconic purple chair. I mean, I
- 8:57Speaker 1: can't believe that. Listen, this is just someone talking to
- 8:59Speaker 1: page six. I would think that if you've worked there
- 9:03Speaker 1: for eight years or whatever, even if you haven't talked
- 9:06Speaker 1: to Wendy in this last year, because it's a weird situation,
- 9:10Speaker 1: really going to just throw it out like in the dumpster. Like,
- 9:12Speaker 1: why wouldn't you just, I'm sure just like, you know what?
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'll take it home. So I highly doubt that you're
- 9:18Speaker 1: going to be able to walk around the studio and
- 9:20Speaker 1: find it on its side with a rat running through it.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I think someone is going to make sure they take
- 9:26Speaker 1: it home. Anyway, the whole situation is just a real
- 9:30Speaker 1: bummer because the show went on for so long. As
- 9:32Speaker 1: you know, I have my Wendy robe. I have my
- 9:34Speaker 1: Wendy cup. I got to be on the show a
- 9:36Speaker 1: bunch of times. It was so fun. I wish Sherry
- 9:39Speaker 1: the best. It has nothing to do with Sherry. She
- 9:41Speaker 1: deserves the show, too. I just feel badly... That Wendy
- 9:45Speaker 1: found herself in this situation and it all seemed to
- 9:48Speaker 1: happen once it was revealed that her husband, you know,
- 9:51Speaker 1: was not only having an affair but had a child
- 9:53Speaker 1: on the way. Then they got divorced. Then, you know,
- 9:57Speaker 1: it was interesting because then she did those two movies.
- 10:00Speaker 1: one the documentary, one the Lifetime movie about her life.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And when she shared the breakup of the marriage and
- 10:08Speaker 1: then she still was doing the show. And then it
- 10:09Speaker 1: was after that that now we just don't really know why,
- 10:13Speaker 1: why she left and didn't come back. We don't know
- 10:15Speaker 1: if it's part of her Graves disease, if she's struggling
- 10:18Speaker 1: with something else. if she's just over it, but I mean,
- 10:24Speaker 1: it's just, anyway, people are bummed about it and myself included.
- 10:28Speaker 1: So Leah Thompson is the transgender woman, as you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: that really had a lot of controversy happening because when
- 10:40Speaker 1: she was living as a boy, she was like 155th
- 10:44Speaker 1: ranked in the men's swimming. And then when she transitioned
- 10:48Speaker 1: at 22 years old, into a female Leah, she, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 1: won all these medals and her teammates at college pretty
- 10:59Speaker 1: much didn't say anything because you can't. And anyway, they
- 11:02Speaker 1: have now said, the head of the swimming said, no,
- 11:06Speaker 1: if you are a trans man and want to compete
- 11:10Speaker 1: against biological females, you will have had to transition by 12.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You will have to be on the hormones and everything,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and living your life as a girl with the hormones
- 11:25Speaker 1: and as a 12-year-old because they believe it is not
- 11:29Speaker 1: fair being that a biological man's body has broader shoulders,
- 11:34Speaker 1: a larger lung capacity, along with being taller and bigger
- 11:38Speaker 1: muscle mass. But those two things are really a big
- 11:41Speaker 1: deal in the sport of swimming. So Kind of interesting
- 11:47Speaker 1: that they say that when at the same time there's
- 11:49Speaker 1: this movement that's saying, like, we shouldn't be giving kids
- 11:53Speaker 1: these drugs at this young age, yet to successfully transition
- 12:00Speaker 1: and possibly play the sport you want to play, you've
- 12:02Speaker 1: got to take these. Anyway, it's a lot, and it's
- 12:05Speaker 1: a lot for Pride Month, but there you go. And J-Lo,
- 12:10Speaker 1: her Netflix special is out. I have yet to see it,
- 12:13Speaker 1: though everyone says I should, and I will because I
- 12:15Speaker 1: do enjoy her. She said that my mom beat the
- 12:18Speaker 1: shit out of me. She said she, meaning her mother,
- 12:27Speaker 1: did what she had to do to survive, and it
- 12:29Speaker 1: made her strong, but it also made her tough, and
- 12:33Speaker 1: she beat the shit out of me. Well, I kind
- 12:36Speaker 1: of like the honesty, and a lot of kids, a
- 12:41Speaker 1: lot of adults that are of a certain age may
- 12:44Speaker 1: have gotten hit as a part of discipline. I think
- 12:47Speaker 1: we know better now. I think, you know, that's just how,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and also culturally, sometimes that was considered okay, but pretty juicy.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I don't know how the mom feels about it. I
- 12:57Speaker 1: always remember the mom won a lot, won, um, not
- 13:00Speaker 1: the lottery. I want to say she won the lottery.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And then she also, we look this up. I want
- 13:06Speaker 1: to say she won the lottery literally. And she also
- 13:09Speaker 1: had a huge win at a casino one time. Besides
- 13:13Speaker 1: winning the lottery with J-Lo as your daughter. Like, she's
- 13:15Speaker 1: literally won some stuff. She won $ 2. 4 million in the
- 13:24Speaker 1: slots jackpot. So, I guess that makes the blow a
- 13:28Speaker 1: little easier that your daughter's telling the world that you
- 13:31Speaker 1: hit her. Jennifer Lopez, speaking of her daughter, she introduced
- 13:35Speaker 1: her twin.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She has twins, boy-girl twins. The one that she introduced
- 13:41Speaker 1: last night to sing, Emma has been singing with her
- 13:44Speaker 1: a couple times. She also performed at the Halftime Show,
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think, with the they-them pronoun. Did I say she? Well,
- 13:54Speaker 1: we don't know, though. I think it's new, but there's
- 13:57Speaker 1: a little bit of confusion because I think at first
- 14:02Speaker 1: people thought she was talking about her twins together, like
- 14:06Speaker 1: They sometimes don't want me to bring them out to shine,
- 14:11Speaker 1: but I am. Something like that. But here they are.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And then just one person came out, which is the
- 14:17Speaker 1: daughter named Emma. Or the human named Emma. Anyway, it's
- 14:25Speaker 1: been a big month. And then also Tori Spelling's Husband
- 14:31Speaker 1: or ex-husband would be, I don't even know. But Dean McDermott,
- 14:34Speaker 1: he announced that his older son, I think the one
- 14:37Speaker 1: that is Tori's stepson, is gay. And then his other
- 14:41Speaker 1: son is a trans girl. Okay. Amber Heard has continued
- 14:49Speaker 1: to fight back and releases, he said she's going to
- 14:52Speaker 1: release years worth of therapy notes detailing allegations of physical
- 14:57Speaker 1: abuse by Johnny Depp. She, uh, we saw a little
- 14:59Speaker 1: bit of this on the today show. It was all
- 15:01Speaker 1: part of a long dateline. I was just watching our
- 15:04Speaker 1: local news and they said, interestingly, it was like a very,
- 15:07Speaker 1: very low rated dateline episode featuring Amber Heard. And I
- 15:13Speaker 1: kind of thought, well, probably because a lot of people
- 15:15Speaker 1: that watch dateline listen to juicy scoop and I've covered
- 15:19Speaker 1: this thoroughly and they're like over it. But, um, Still
- 15:23Speaker 1: found it kind of interesting.
- 15:25Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 15:25Speaker 1: But you know what? I don't know if I'll watch it.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's in my DVR. I'm like, I got it. I
- 15:29Speaker 1: got what you're saying. She's basically saying that, you know, no,
- 15:33Speaker 1: nobody came forward. No one is coming forward but me
- 15:36Speaker 1: because look what happened when I came forward. My life
- 15:38Speaker 1: is ruined. You know, people are sending Heather MacDonald fake
- 15:42Speaker 1: turds for her birthday because my name is Amber Turd now.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And It happened, okay? I have all this evidence that
- 15:51Speaker 1: they wouldn't allow in this trial that says something differently.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I was also thinking, though, if your doctor that you're
- 15:58Speaker 1: reporting this to was taking notes, as a doctor, it
- 16:02Speaker 1: is his duty, just like a school nurse or a
- 16:07Speaker 1: teacher or anything like that. When you say you're being abused,
- 16:15Speaker 1: they have to report it. They have to go to
- 16:18Speaker 1: the police. So who's this doctor that you're reporting this
- 16:21Speaker 1: to about being physically abused who then didn't go to
- 16:25Speaker 1: the police? Was that person being paid off by Johnny
- 16:27Speaker 1: Depp too? I mean, that I find very, very weird. Anyway,
- 16:31Speaker 1: she called the paparazzi and said, go into TJ Maxx
- 16:35Speaker 1: and show me shopping. They just happened to be inside
- 16:38Speaker 1: TJ Maxx, just like they happened to be outside and
- 16:42Speaker 1: inside Walmart when Pete Davidson... was hanging out with Saint.
- 16:50Speaker 1: So it's interesting because these are places I go, I
- 16:54Speaker 1: don't see paparazzi. However, when I was at Rumbauer walking
- 16:58Speaker 1: the gardens, the paparazzi was there and it was just,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I kind of freaked out. So I'm just warning you guys,
- 17:04Speaker 1: I don't get me canceled, but we were like very,
- 17:07Speaker 1: very harassed. And you can just, you can go to
- 17:09Speaker 1: my Instagram or TikTok and Reel's wherever. I posted it
- 17:13Speaker 1: everywhere just because I want people to be aware of
- 17:16Speaker 1: absolutely how invasive it is. So I feel for Amber
- 17:19Speaker 1: Heard when you're just shopping for some clothes to let
- 17:22Speaker 1: the world know that you're just a regular girl that
- 17:26Speaker 1: meant to give $ 7 million to Children's Hospital and the
- 17:29Speaker 1: ACLU but didn't, okay, because your ex was suing you.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But that was your intention and And now you're just
- 17:39Speaker 1: a single mother who has a huge bill on her hands,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and she's going to go to the same TJ Maxx
- 17:45Speaker 1: that Erika Jayne went to. And apparently TMZ is very
- 17:49Speaker 1: familiar with that TJ Maxx, so good for her. Major
- 17:53Speaker 1: weird behind-the-scenes social media juice on The Real Housewives of
- 17:59Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. On Wednesday's episode, a couple things happened. Diane Jenkins,
- 18:05Speaker 1: who is the newest... housewife. She's 48 or 49. She
- 18:09Speaker 1: has a one-year-old baby with her second baby daddy. She
- 18:13Speaker 1: came from Bosnia, was very poor, lived like war-torn, like
- 18:18Speaker 1: horrible childhood, got out there. She's very pretty and she's
- 18:21Speaker 1: extremely rich. When she divorced the husband who she has
- 18:24Speaker 1: the adult kids with, to my understanding, she got $ 250 million.
- 18:28Speaker 1: She has a jet. So when Dorit says, I don't know, PK,
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm just feeling so weird after the robbery. He says,
- 18:35Speaker 1: You know what? Take the girls. You know what? Go
- 18:39Speaker 1: to Punta Minta. That's what you do. You go to
- 18:41Speaker 1: Punta Minta after you get robbed at gunpoint. You go
- 18:44Speaker 1: to Punta Minta. She goes to Punta Minta. She's like,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you know, at the hotel, they gave me a room
- 18:51Speaker 1: with a balcony right outside on the first floor, mind you.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And so I'm having anxiety. Anyway, they're there having some fun.
- 18:59Speaker 1: And Lisa Renna goes, ah! Tell everybody, Diane Jenkins, about
- 19:08Speaker 1: your beautiful book, Rube 23. Because she modeled in it.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It was just a bunch of people in a room naked.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I wish I could see it, but apparently it's $ 500
- 19:19Speaker 1: and also out of print. Diane says, I think I
- 19:24Speaker 1: already told the story. I don't think I want to
- 19:26Speaker 1: talk about it. I have to work on her accent.
- 19:28Speaker 1: But anyway, she said, I think I want to talk
- 19:29Speaker 1: about it. Don't want to talk about it. They cut
- 19:31Speaker 1: to her interviews and she's like, I did this book.
- 19:35Speaker 1: The intention was good. Erica Jane's like, yes, very sex positive,
- 19:40Speaker 1: very beautiful, very sexual, very much about the body, about
- 19:43Speaker 1: the woman's body. And so there were articles written about
- 19:48Speaker 1: this book and a lot of deep dive Reddits that
- 19:52Speaker 1: believed that this was a book of clients and their customers,
- 19:57Speaker 1: that it was like a, you know, call girl kind
- 20:00Speaker 1: of a thing. And was she a call girl at
- 20:03Speaker 1: one time? There was rumors about that. There was rumors
- 20:06Speaker 1: that somehow She even jokes. She goes, apparently people thought
- 20:09Speaker 1: I was some big sex trafficker, some international sex trafficker.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Absolutely not true. Well, now there is photos of her
- 20:16Speaker 1: hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein. Who else was in that photo?
- 20:20Speaker 1: The Jeffrey Epstein photo. Anyway, but listen, people hung out
- 20:24Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. Doesn't mean that they were, you know,
- 20:27Speaker 1: that you could be at a party with Harvey Weinstein too.
- 20:30Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that you slept with them or you
- 20:32Speaker 1: were delivering women to him. However, um, I don't know
- 20:37Speaker 1: what that is. I mean, I could think of a
- 20:38Speaker 1: scenario of where the rumor started. It doesn't mean it's true,
- 20:41Speaker 1: but I assume she's a very beautiful woman. She might
- 20:45Speaker 1: have known a lot of other really beautiful women, and
- 20:49Speaker 1: she's with a really rich guy or husband, and he's
- 20:52Speaker 1: got all these powerful people coming. And you know what?
- 20:57Speaker 1: Let's have some beautiful eye candy. Let's have some classy,
- 20:59Speaker 1: gorgeous-looking women. And if they want to partake in something
- 21:05Speaker 1: with who they meet with after, okay. I don't, I'm
- 21:08Speaker 1: just saying that could have been how the rumor started.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I don't think at any time was she like booking
- 21:14Speaker 1: it like Heidi Fleiss and give me 10% or anything
- 21:17Speaker 1: like that. But maybe that's where these stories started of
- 21:20Speaker 1: like this elite crowd that would go out on, you know,
- 21:24Speaker 1: yachts and they go out on the yachts because you're
- 21:26Speaker 1: out in the sea and there's no jurisdiction. And now,
- 21:28Speaker 1: you know, these powerful people and just like you're the
- 21:31Speaker 1: person that has the yacht or the person that brings
- 21:34Speaker 1: the great ball of wine. Maybe you're also that person
- 21:36Speaker 1: that has the really hot, gorgeous girls that like rich
- 21:41Speaker 1: men and buying purses. I don't know. But she does not,
- 21:45Speaker 1: this book was not a good move for her and
- 21:48Speaker 1: she is able to whatever, laugh it off. But she
- 21:51Speaker 1: does end up in tears later that night because I
- 21:53Speaker 1: think she's starting to freak out that the book was
- 21:55Speaker 1: brought up. But Lisa Rinna, one, she's in it, but two,
- 21:59Speaker 1: I think she's like, I know that would be kind
- 22:02Speaker 1: of juicy to talk about. So meanwhile, Crystal has now
- 22:08Speaker 1: profusely apologized to Sutton for saying when Sutton said, I
- 22:12Speaker 1: had a little international soup in my jacuzzi. I had
- 22:17Speaker 1: my daughter. She had two of her African-American friends. She
- 22:22Speaker 1: had a Chinese friend and she had a redhead Catholic girl.
- 22:25Speaker 1: And I said, that is what I want. So Crystal goes, OK,
- 22:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I thought it was problematic. I guess nobody did.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I used the wrong words. I'm sorry. And Sutton's like,
- 22:35Speaker 1: you better just tell. Say it to my face so
- 22:38Speaker 1: you'll never do that to me again because I know
- 22:40Speaker 1: you've done it to some other people. I know you've
- 22:42Speaker 1: done it to some other people with your 14 friends
- 22:46Speaker 1: that dumped you. So we'll get into that in a minute.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Fridge looking empty.
- 22:54Speaker 7: Need dinner sorted fast? With Super Value Online Shopping, place

- 23:15Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 23:18Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 23:21Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 23:26Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 23:28Speaker 8: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 23:34Speaker 1: filed against me.
- 23:35Speaker 8: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 23:37Speaker 8: what would you do if it was given back?
- 23:40Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 23:42Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 23:45Speaker 7: He said, I have a work dad.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I need a home dad.
- 23:47Speaker 3: What happens next?
- 23:48Speaker 1: When I came in, he started crying.
- 23:50Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 23:54Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 23:57Speaker 6: happens next.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 24:01Speaker 7: You're worth the work.
- 24:02Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 24:07Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 24:10Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Apparently, Crystal had 14 friends that dumped her. And I
- 24:25Speaker 1: have some theories about that. But first, we go back
- 24:28Speaker 1: to the Diane Jenkins because she had quite a weekend. First,
- 24:31Speaker 1: she had to deal with this. Then on Friday morning
- 24:35Speaker 1: or Saturday morning, I think, some shit went down. There
- 24:42Speaker 1: is this Instagram account that found a photo of Diane
- 24:48Speaker 1: Jenkins and wrote, look how different she looked, whatever, eight
- 24:54Speaker 1: years ago and posted it. And it had a very
- 24:55Speaker 1: small following. And Diane Jenkins went after this person and
- 24:59Speaker 1: was like, really? This photo was 20 pounds thinner. And
- 25:04Speaker 1: it was at this UCLA law thing where I was
- 25:07Speaker 1: talking about war-torn Bosnia. And so she's pissed. She's like, no,
- 25:12Speaker 1: I didn't have a ton of plastic surgery. Fuck off, whatever.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So then the woman is like, oh, I'm getting all
- 25:20Speaker 1: this press from it. I just started being, you know,
- 25:24Speaker 1: posting about things like this. This is what gets her
- 25:28Speaker 1: in trouble. She says, Diane Jenkins says, let.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Me see.
- 25:36Speaker 1: So she goes, can't be the same woman. And then
- 25:39Speaker 1: Diane Jenkins, whose Instagram is very weird. It's S-D-J-N-E-U-R-O. I
- 25:45Speaker 1: don't know if that's the answer. That's her Instagram. She goes,
- 25:50Speaker 1: it can't feel good being a black content creator. Oh,
- 25:57Speaker 1: interesting that you caught that. So Annie caught the fact
- 26:01Speaker 1: that in this sentence, she wrote black with a capital B. Well,
- 26:08Speaker 1: according to Diane Jenkins, she didn't know it was anything
- 26:14Speaker 1: bad to do. Crystal called her up. What the fuck
- 26:18Speaker 1: is this about? So then she wrote, oh my God, Crystal,
- 26:21Speaker 1: just call me. What the fuck is this about? I
- 26:23Speaker 1: had no idea that this person was black as in
- 26:27Speaker 1: the color of her skin. I thought a, um, Instagram
- 26:32Speaker 1: account that writes this kind of snarky shit about someone
- 26:35Speaker 1: having plastic surgery and not looking good. I thought that
- 26:38Speaker 1: was like black content, like, um, I don't know how
- 26:43Speaker 1: someone might say black comedy is dark comedy. It's black
- 26:46Speaker 1: comedy about whatever, death or something. That's what she's claiming.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You should believe her because even though she's got multi, multi-million,
- 26:57Speaker 1: millions of dollars and has been a mother for a
- 27:00Speaker 1: long time and is almost 50, she didn't come from America.
- 27:06Speaker 1: She does also speak four languages and she spoke at
- 27:09Speaker 1: this very important conference at UCLA, as she said, this
- 27:14Speaker 1: law conference at UCLA. She's an author. She did a
- 27:18Speaker 1: big book. You can't get mad at her because she
- 27:25Speaker 1: was not born in America. She's an immigrant. So therefore,
- 27:29Speaker 1: give her a, you know, give her a break. Meanwhile,
- 27:34Speaker 1: she said that Sutton was yelling at her and that
- 27:37Speaker 1: Sutton's words are sloppy and this and that, or clumsy.
- 27:41Speaker 1: She said, Sutton, you're clumsy, you're awkward, you're this. So
- 27:44Speaker 1: all I can say is this woman has so much money.
- 27:47Speaker 1: She's very attractive. She also has a team of people
- 27:49Speaker 1: that go anytime she travels and they go to the
- 27:54Speaker 1: hotel and set it up and make sure that everything
- 27:57Speaker 1: is beautiful and like the pillows are right and the
- 27:59Speaker 1: pillowcase is right and there's like the right scent going
- 28:02Speaker 1: on in the room. Maybe like a diffuser. But I
- 28:05Speaker 1: think it could also be for security reasons that they
- 28:08Speaker 1: make sure that so you're not on the bottom floor
- 28:10Speaker 1: like Dorit. Like you're making sure everything's safe and secure.
- 28:13Speaker 1: There's no bugs in the room. I don't know. I mean,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I guess that's what they would do if like Secret
- 28:18Speaker 1: Service or something. Also, you're just rich. And why not?
- 28:21Speaker 1: You know, she said, I've never been shopping. I've never this.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I've never that. And that was the other thing this
- 28:26Speaker 1: woman was kind of balking her at, which pissed her
- 28:28Speaker 1: off because she's like, was this the face of a
- 28:30Speaker 1: person that has never been inside a regular store or what?
- 28:34Speaker 1: I just think she's got to wake up and be like,
- 28:36Speaker 1: why the hell did I go on Real Housewives of
- 28:39Speaker 1: Beverly Hills? So I don't know what's going to happen
- 28:43Speaker 1: with her. But yeah, I just guess because you think
- 28:46Speaker 1: you're like Erika Jayne and you think you're so above
- 28:49Speaker 1: it that you even if you're doing shady things in
- 28:51Speaker 1: your life or you have kind of a controversial background
- 28:54Speaker 1: that could be misconstrued or talked about. I think you're
- 28:57Speaker 1: just like, why not? I'll be famous too. I'm beautiful.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I'm rich. I'll be famous too. Get ready. This was
- 29:04Speaker 1: pretty fun.
- 29:05Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:05Speaker 1: So now let's get back. Alex by Aline, by Aline too,
- 29:09Speaker 1: which is a Twitter account at Mary souls cup is
- 29:13Speaker 1: her name. She took the classic photo of Teresa flipping
- 29:17Speaker 1: the table and said me to crystal. You were dropped
- 29:20Speaker 1: by friends 14 times. Thought that was funny. So This
- 29:25Speaker 1: is what I think happened with Crystal and her 14 friends.
- 29:28Speaker 1: From the research that I've done, these girls look pretty normal.
- 29:32Speaker 1: They don't look like the cupcake girls from Newport that
- 29:35Speaker 1: are all size zero and all around the same age.
- 29:37Speaker 1: They look like they're probably wealthy. women and they look
- 29:41Speaker 1: a little older than Crystal. So I think she made
- 29:45Speaker 1: friends with a lot of these kind of powerful women,
- 29:48Speaker 1: very rich women through her husband's business and being a
- 29:51Speaker 1: director and whatever. And she kind of got put on
- 29:54Speaker 1: this list. And she got to be invited to the
- 29:56Speaker 1: people's birthday, which was probably once or twice a month.
- 30:00Speaker 1: If there's 14 of them, you've got to figure there's
- 30:02Speaker 1: got to be a girls' dinner at least once or
- 30:04Speaker 1: twice a month. And that's what I think she was
- 30:07Speaker 1: going to. We're in Beverly Hills, and they're rich. I
- 30:10Speaker 1: think what happened was probably a handful of them over
- 30:15Speaker 1: the years have been approached to be on Real Housewives
- 30:18Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills. And maybe they considered it. Maybe they
- 30:22Speaker 1: really wanted it. Crystal probably shit on it, and then
- 30:26Speaker 1: she got it. And they were like, that's what I
- 30:29Speaker 1: think happened. I've heard it happen with other franchises before. And,
- 30:34Speaker 1: you know, I can see why they chose Crystal. She
- 30:38Speaker 1: is a woman of color. We wanted to see different
- 30:42Speaker 1: experiences and different people. She's younger. I think they wanted younger.
- 30:47Speaker 1: And I think she's been an interesting hit. I mean,
- 30:50Speaker 1: we're talking about it. I like her as a person.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But probably some of these other women that have been
- 30:54Speaker 1: kind of circling the drain to get on for a
- 30:57Speaker 1: while might have found it to be hypocritical that she
- 31:01Speaker 1: took it. Or maybe they're just bummed that she took it.
- 31:04Speaker 1: But I think there was something that she must have
- 31:06Speaker 1: said or done. Maybe they were all being interviewed at
- 31:09Speaker 1: the same time and they somehow believe that maybe she
- 31:13Speaker 1: sabotaged their chance or whatever. But they can only include
- 31:16Speaker 1: like one or two new people max every season. So
- 31:20Speaker 1: it's either you or me. Um, I mean, from what
- 31:23Speaker 1: she told me, she was like, I didn't seek it out.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I didn't think it was going to be true. So
- 31:27Speaker 1: I don't really think she was pursuing it until they
- 31:29Speaker 1: approached her. So she also may have, like I said,
- 31:32Speaker 1: shit on in the past. And then somehow there's probably
- 31:35Speaker 1: some jealousy there. And because she was younger and didn't
- 31:39Speaker 1: have the history with the other women, they were just like, yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 1: she's out. She's out of the group. You guys, she's
- 31:43Speaker 1: out of the group. Also, we don't want her knowing
- 31:46Speaker 1: our personal business if she's going to be on this
- 31:48Speaker 1: housewife show. And being out as a public figure, that
- 31:52Speaker 1: could also be it. I remember I was supposed to
- 31:54Speaker 1: go to a dinner with a rich billionaire female women
- 31:59Speaker 1: party out in Santa Barbara, and I was really excited
- 32:01Speaker 1: to meet these women. And the minute my friend who
- 32:04Speaker 1: was bringing me along told them that I was coming,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they were like, no. And I'm like, oh, my God. So,
- 32:15Speaker 1: I mean, I think they're like, we don't want some
- 32:18Speaker 1: comedian there. I mean, I really think they just might
- 32:21Speaker 1: have thought, like, I want to talk about, like, these
- 32:23Speaker 1: are my, I'm going to dinner with six people. These
- 32:27Speaker 1: are my good friends. I want to talk about this stuff.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I don't want to worry about, like, who else is
- 32:31Speaker 1: there or whatever. So that's me, just my own, just
- 32:36Speaker 1: philosophy of knowing women, relationships, rich women, and TV, and
- 32:40Speaker 1: what I think may have happened. But I don't know
- 32:42Speaker 1: that anybody really knows the truth. If you do, write me. Meanwhile...
- 32:48Speaker 1: Kathy Hilton and Lisa Rinna are still going at each other,
- 32:52Speaker 1: even though Patrick Summers has disappeared. That was the kid
- 32:55Speaker 1: that started the controversy from a couple weeks ago. Reality
- 33:00Speaker 1: Rundown had this. Kathy, who's still friends with Crystal, remember
- 33:03Speaker 1: I went to dinner with them for the book party
- 33:07Speaker 1: for Brazen, Julia Hart. So Crystal does a little cute
- 33:14Speaker 1: photo of her dog. And Kathy goes, so sweet. Okay,
- 33:18Speaker 1: that's it. Lisa Renna turns off her phone from dancing, okay?
- 33:23Speaker 1: Hikes up her free people sweats and gets out the
- 33:30Speaker 1: phone and was like, oh, writes under Kathy's comment at
- 33:35Speaker 1: Kathy Hilton. I remember when you first got the show,
- 33:39Speaker 1: you called me and said what Kim said about Harry.
- 33:42Speaker 1: She made it all up and know that right. And
- 33:47Speaker 1: I said, I know she did, Kathy. Just flashed on
- 33:53Speaker 1: that today for some reason. Oof, you're so angry. So basically,
- 33:58Speaker 1: I mean, Lisa Renna just really wants to stay in
- 34:03Speaker 1: this fight and talk about it. And she knows that
- 34:09Speaker 1: people follow this type of stuff, and it's not hard.
- 34:12Speaker 1: If you want to write a comment under someone's post,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you're verified. And it's anything to deal with the housewives.
- 34:19Speaker 1: One of 20 Instagram accounts will catch it and make
- 34:23Speaker 1: a story about it. And Heather McDonald and Juicy Scoop
- 34:26Speaker 1: might be talking about it. So she knows what she's doing.
- 34:28Speaker 1: So I think she just wants to just solidify that
- 34:31Speaker 1: forever rumor when Kim's like, let's talk about the husband,
- 34:35Speaker 1: that there's nothing to talk about Harry Hamlin, except if
- 34:39Speaker 1: you want to talk about his sauce, his compost, or
- 34:43Speaker 1: his great gardening skills. Okay, that's it. You want anything
- 34:46Speaker 1: else to talk about? We're not talking about it.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 34:51Speaker 1: So there you go. Meanwhile, her daughter, Amelia Gray, who
- 34:55Speaker 1: used to date Scott Disick, they covered their eyebrows in
- 34:59Speaker 1: this awful look where you put like white cream on
- 35:02Speaker 1: your eyebrows. You have no eyebrows and they're licking lollipops
- 35:07Speaker 1: and barely dressed her and Julia Fox. Julia Fox, we
- 35:11Speaker 1: thought went away. But I told you guys, the drought
- 35:15Speaker 1: in L.A. is really, really bad. It's getting to a
- 35:18Speaker 1: serious place. Like, you're not supposed to water your lawns.
- 35:22Speaker 1: And these girls are really thirsty. They're getting really thirsty.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Even though Julia's on the East Coast, she came in dehydrated,
- 35:29Speaker 1: so thirsty. And they're trying to get some, you know,
- 35:33Speaker 1: some hydration from these lollipops and having no brows. I
- 35:37Speaker 1: hate this no brow look. This is a look that
- 35:39Speaker 1: has gone in and out of style since 1900. Madonna
- 35:44Speaker 1: did it at one point. I think it looks awful.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I don't want it to come back. But look, it
- 35:49Speaker 1: got us talking about it. Just interesting that she dated
- 35:52Speaker 1: Kanye and she dated Scott Disick. And it's, you know,
- 35:55Speaker 1: a couple days before Father's Day. So whatever. Now I'm
- 35:59Speaker 1: very excited, you guys. I get to talk to Luann
- 36:03Speaker 1: de Lesseps. Had a great interview with her. And here
- 36:06Speaker 1: we go. We're going to hear all the juice in
- 36:08Speaker 1: New York. Well, people are out and about. They're joining
- 36:13Speaker 1: the gym again. But the same thing that happened before
- 36:16Speaker 1: the pandemic is happening now. You know what that is.
- 36:19Speaker 1: You got there late. You couldn't find parking. You're frustrated.
- 36:22Speaker 1: You didn't sign up for the class in time. There's
- 36:24Speaker 1: no spot for you. And now there's no workout for you. Well,

- 37:34Speaker 1: much more, Luanne de Lesseps, Countess Luanne. Welcome.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Hi, Heather. Very good to see you. I haven't seen
- 37:43Speaker 3: you in ages.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I know, and I'm going to see you on the
- 37:47Speaker 1: 23rd here in LA. I was thinking about it. This
- 37:50Speaker 1: is almost, is this like kind of like your fourth
- 37:52Speaker 1: round of shows or tour per se, like- I feel
- 37:57Speaker 1: like you started quite a while ago now.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Yeah. I started in 2018 and the.
- 38:01Speaker 9: Last time I was in LA, I played the Wiltern,
- 38:05Speaker 9: which was amazing. It was a sold out show and packed.
- 38:08Speaker 3: To the gills. Did you come to that show?
- 38:10Speaker 1: I don't think I came to that one, but I've
- 38:12Speaker 1: seen you twice in New York. I also saw you
- 38:15Speaker 1: at Bravo con.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Oh, right. Okay. Yeah. I played Bravo con. Right.
- 38:20Speaker 9: So the last time I was in LA, I played
- 38:21Speaker 9: the Wiltern and yeah, It was so exciting because we
- 38:25Speaker 9: had done something with the doorbells with Andy Cohen at
- 38:29Speaker 9: that theater. And to be back there and actually be
- 38:31Speaker 9: playing it on my own was amazing. And, you know,
- 38:35Speaker 9: I had, you know, Molly Shannon came and Terry Hatcher
- 38:39Speaker 9: and all these celebrities come.
- 38:41Speaker 3: It was incredible. And so it's exciting to be back
- 38:44Speaker 3: in L.A.
- 38:45Speaker 9: And play the iconic El Rey Theater. I'll be there
- 38:48Speaker 9: four nights, you know, the 23rd to the 26th. So
- 38:51Speaker 9: super excited to bring an all new show. I have
- 38:53Speaker 9: a new director now who is, um, Kristen Chenoweth's director,
- 38:57Speaker 9: the queen of Broadway's director. And, you know, he's been
- 39:00Speaker 9: Bette Midler's director and Barbra Streisand. And so I'm working
- 39:03Speaker 9: with the best in the business. I work really hard
- 39:06Speaker 9: to bring a great show to the stage. Uh, and
- 39:10Speaker 9: you know, I'm excited to, uh, to feature my new song,
- 39:14Speaker 9: F-bombs on the G4 with the OGs, which is spun
- 39:17Speaker 9: off of the Ultimate Girls Trip because I always get inspired.
- 39:20Speaker 3: You know, that's how I write my music.
- 39:22Speaker 9: That's how I wrote Money Can't Buy You Class and
- 39:24Speaker 9: Chic C'est La Vie and.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Feeling Giovanni because it feels so good. So, you know.
- 39:30Speaker 9: I always get inspired by the ladies this show is
- 39:32Speaker 9: no different you know I you'll see that you know
- 39:36Speaker 9: new song in the show I do a Q &
- 39:38Speaker 9: A with the audience and we talk everything housewives which
- 39:41Speaker 9: is a lot of fun I've got some great video
- 39:44Speaker 9: packages and I take you know some classic cabaret songs
- 39:48Speaker 9: I turn them on their heads And I sing a
- 39:50Speaker 9: lot of my favorite music that I personally like to
- 39:53Speaker 9: sing and all the songs I pick myself in and
- 39:56Speaker 9: are linked together by stories that that kind of explain
- 40:01Speaker 9: how I got to that song, et cetera.
- 40:03Speaker 3: So it's a good time. It is a full on party.
- 40:07Speaker 9: And I'm just having the best time, you know, and
- 40:10Speaker 9: bring it spreading the joy of cabaret.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Well, I definitely think that the vibe in the shows
- 40:16Speaker 1: that I've gone to is just so fun. You know,
- 40:19Speaker 1: it's just it's like everyone's so excited to be out
- 40:22Speaker 1: and it's just like a really fun time. So not
- 40:25Speaker 1: only are you having fun watching the show, but you're
- 40:26Speaker 1: kind of having fun with the people surrounding you and
- 40:29Speaker 1: the environment. So I'm bringing my girlfriends and I'm celebrating.
- 40:33Speaker 1: My birthday. Yesterday was my birthday, but I like to
- 40:36Speaker 1: milk it out for two to three weeks.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Happy birthday. You're pulling a Ramona, huh?
- 40:40Speaker 1: Totally. Ramona and I. Speaking of Ramona, where were you?
- 40:46Speaker 1: It's like, where were you when JFK got shot for
- 40:49Speaker 1: all these people? Where were you when you heard that
- 40:53Speaker 1: Ramona did the IG story? revealing the deets of Teresa's
- 40:57Speaker 1: wedding and the invitation.
- 40:59Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 40:59Speaker 9: I think I was in Canada to tell you the truth.
- 41:01Speaker 9: I was, I've been on a tour. So, um, I was,
- 41:04Speaker 9: you know, not surprised because, you know, Ramona, you know,
- 41:08Speaker 9: did not realize because of her, you know, her ability
- 41:12Speaker 9: at social media did not realize that, you know, by
- 41:15Speaker 9: doing a video that people could freeze it and actually
- 41:18Speaker 9: blow up all the details of her, of Teresa's wedding.
- 41:21Speaker 3: So, um, I think she did it as a total accident, obviously.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Yes, definitely.
- 41:27Speaker 9: And I felt like, you know, I felt, you know,
- 41:29Speaker 9: at first I felt bad for her. And then I
- 41:31Speaker 9: felt bad for Teresa because she's had to move a
- 41:34Speaker 9: lot of things around because of that faux pas.
- 41:37Speaker 3: And, you know, and, you know, it's typical Ramona. Yeah.
- 41:42Speaker 1: It's so typical Ramona. So when that happened, of course, like,
- 41:45Speaker 1: you know, I see it. People are, you know, posting
- 41:48Speaker 1: it and joking about it, whatever. And so I hear from,
- 41:52Speaker 1: you know, I think Ali wrote me like, did you
- 41:54Speaker 1: see this? Jill Zarin's Ali. Oh, look what I'm wearing.
- 41:56Speaker 1: I'm wearing Scary Island. Oh, my God. This is Jill
- 41:59Speaker 1: and Ali's shirt. I love it. So I called Jill.
- 42:03Speaker 3: And look what I'm wearing.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Wait.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Giovanni. Oh, that's the Giovanni little cute jacket. I love it.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Whoops, my computer. Yeah, I got my little Giovanni bomber on.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really cute. So anyway, I called Jill as
- 42:19Speaker 1: Ramona and I blamed it all on Jill. I just
- 42:23Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, Jill? I don't know
- 42:26Speaker 1: how this story got out. OK, obviously, we've had our
- 42:29Speaker 1: ups and downs. And I just like this whole thing.
- 42:32Speaker 1: And she goes, I'm going to share this with Teresa.
- 42:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, I know, like when it's all said
- 42:38Speaker 1: and done, hopefully she didn't get disinvited. Obviously, it was
- 42:41Speaker 1: like a mistake. And, you know, but then there was
- 42:45Speaker 1: rumors that you were going to be a bridesmaid with Kenya.
- 42:50Speaker 3: You know, that is the funniest thing in the world.
- 42:52Speaker 9: In fact, I just got off the phone with Teresa because,
- 42:56Speaker 9: you know, she invited me to the wedding and I
- 42:57Speaker 9: wanted to talk to her about the details.
- 42:59Speaker 3: And and I told her, I said, people think that
- 43:02Speaker 3: I'm one of your bridesmaids. I said, I don't know
- 43:05Speaker 3: how that happened. But, you know, am I your bridesmaid?
- 43:10Speaker 3: And I don't know it. Yeah. And and she laughed.
- 43:13Speaker 9: And and I said, oh, my God, how upset would
- 43:16Speaker 9: Melissa Gorga be? You know, if if I was to
- 43:19Speaker 9: be a bridesmaid, I said, I don't know how that
- 43:21Speaker 9: story came out, but it's totally not true.
- 43:24Speaker 1: But you are going.
- 43:26Speaker 3: I'm planning on going. Yes.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yes. That's very nice. Because you guys, you know, I
- 43:31Speaker 1: feel like, you know, so many housewives throughout the years
- 43:33Speaker 1: doing shows together. All this stuff. And then so many
- 43:36Speaker 1: of the, you know, you're so generous inviting people to
- 43:39Speaker 1: your shows as well. But did you love when you
- 43:43Speaker 1: heard about Ultimate Girls Trip since you were on the
- 43:45Speaker 1: first one in the Bahamas? Were you super excited about it?
- 43:48Speaker 1: Were you nervous about who you might know? Did you
- 43:51Speaker 1: know who you were going to be on with when
- 43:53Speaker 1: they asked you or did you accept and just like
- 43:55Speaker 1: throw caution to the wind? And, you know, it's not
- 43:58Speaker 1: Scary Island.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:59Speaker 9: I think at first I accepted if I remember correctly
- 44:02Speaker 9: and you know, listen, they called and they were like,
- 44:04Speaker 9: do you want, it was the Turks and Caicos.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:06Speaker 9: And they're like, Do you want to go on this
- 44:08Speaker 9: trip with some of the various housewives from other franchises
- 44:11Speaker 9: and go for a week vacation and get paid? I'm like, yes,
- 44:16Speaker 9: that sounds great to me. And and then I found
- 44:19Speaker 9: out who was coming. And, you know, I didn't know
- 44:21Speaker 9: Kenny at all. And everybody was like, oh, you got
- 44:23Speaker 9: to be careful. She's shady and throw shade and blah, blah, blah.
- 44:27Speaker 3: And I ended up.
- 44:28Speaker 9: Getting along with her probably. the best I got along
- 44:31Speaker 9: with everybody to tell you the truth. I mean, Kyle
- 44:34Speaker 9: surprised me. I thought Kyle might be a little stuck up,
- 44:36Speaker 9: but she's actually really down to earth. They couldn't have
- 44:39Speaker 9: been nicer and was a lot of fun.
- 44:41Speaker 3: I mean, we laughed a lot. Um, and you know,
- 44:44Speaker 3: Ramona ended up being the wild card for me. Yeah.
- 44:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Well, what I enjoyed about it is that you guys
- 44:52Speaker 1: would have those moments that felt very much like when
- 44:56Speaker 1: you go on a real girls trip that isn't being filmed.
- 44:58Speaker 1: And you'd have those moments of just like having breakfast
- 45:00Speaker 1: and being like, God, what was that like when that
- 45:04Speaker 1: happened on your show, like to each other? And then
- 45:08Speaker 1: having the perspective of that, it wasn't your, you know,
- 45:11Speaker 1: it wasn't your cast and it wasn't your season, but
- 45:14Speaker 1: you watched it. And then being a housewife, you could
- 45:17Speaker 1: participate in the point of view and the conversation. I
- 45:20Speaker 1: thought that was like... Really cool. And like when they
- 45:24Speaker 1: do more of them, they should make sure that they really,
- 45:27Speaker 1: you know, make sure that the girls do that kind
- 45:30Speaker 1: of a thing. Because to me that was the most interesting.
- 45:32Speaker 1: Not even like that there was a little bit of conflict.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Who cares about that? I liked like those breakfast moments
- 45:38Speaker 1: of you guys like talking.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, they call it, you know, breaking the fourth wall.
- 45:42Speaker 9: We broke the fourth wall and we talked about what
- 45:44Speaker 9: it is to be like on our different franchises.
- 45:48Speaker 3: And I thought that was really good.
- 45:49Speaker 9: It's, you know, things that people never get to hear
- 45:52Speaker 9: that they want to know. And so it was great
- 45:55Speaker 9: to be able to share our experiences because, you know, listen,
- 45:58Speaker 9: we're all, you know, housewives. Um, and you know, we
- 46:03Speaker 9: all go through our, you know, our things on the
- 46:06Speaker 9: show and, and people don't necessarily get, you know, those,
- 46:11Speaker 9: details that you get to hear. So I think it
- 46:13Speaker 9: was a very smart thing. And that trip to me
- 46:15Speaker 9: felt very old housewives. It felt OG housewives. There was drama,
- 46:20Speaker 9: but the right amount. It wasn't crazy. It was very,
- 46:24Speaker 9: I think, like you said, it was very interesting to
- 46:26Speaker 9: see that side of our lives in terms of what
- 46:30Speaker 9: it's like to actually be filming on the housewives.
- 46:34Speaker 1: And no one gave you shit for just taking a
- 46:36Speaker 1: swim on the beach.
- 46:38Speaker 3: That's right. I mean, right.
- 46:43Speaker 1: You're in Miami and they were just like so awful.
- 46:46Speaker 1: And you're like, my God, I just want to take
- 46:47Speaker 1: a swim on the beach. I know.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I know.
- 46:50Speaker 9: And then I'm there in my lounge chair, like relaxing
- 46:53Speaker 9: while they're like, why isn't she getting us truffle fries?
- 46:55Speaker 9: I mean, what's the matter with her? She went to
- 46:57Speaker 9: see her cabaret poster. How dare she? Like I'm playing
- 47:00Speaker 9: the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami, which is a big
- 47:03Speaker 9: deal to me.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Um, and to anybody.
- 47:07Speaker 1: And I was like, and I'm like, also you're there
- 47:10Speaker 1: a couple of weeks before it happens. That's such a
- 47:12Speaker 1: great post, you know, to take a photo of you
- 47:14Speaker 1: and be like, so you get a couple of weeks,
- 47:15Speaker 1: like who, no person wouldn't do that. If I had
- 47:18Speaker 1: that opportunity, I would be doing it too. Like it
- 47:21Speaker 1: was so, but you know, like when that was that whole, like,
- 47:25Speaker 1: not everything's a cabaret.
- 47:27Speaker 3: Life is not a cabaret.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Yeah. And it's like, well, that is your career and
- 47:32Speaker 1: you're still doing it, you know? And it's like, It's,
- 47:35Speaker 1: it's weird because, you know, the women always talk about supporting,
- 47:38Speaker 1: let's support each other, but then there's, but then if
- 47:41Speaker 1: someone is, you know, actually really doing something great, then
- 47:45Speaker 1: it's like, there's always that girl that's really not as
- 47:47Speaker 1: supportive otherwise. why would you shit on it? You know?
- 47:51Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 47:51Speaker 9: Well, you know, and, and it's funny cause I talk about, actually,
- 47:55Speaker 9: I do talk about that moment in my cabaret show
- 47:58Speaker 9: and I do talk about all the really horrible things
- 48:02Speaker 9: that have happened to me. And I sing a song.
- 48:04Speaker 9: It's really funny.
- 48:05Speaker 3: You're going to love it.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Oh, good. Okay. So let's, so now did you see
- 48:10Speaker 1: the latest drama with Dorinda and what she said about Vicky?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Because their season's coming up on the 23rd, actually, or 21st. Yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 9: Yes, yes. I, you know, I heard some things going
- 48:25Speaker 9: back and forth about, you know, Dorinda and Vicki. And
- 48:28Speaker 9: remind me exactly what it was.
- 48:30Speaker 3: I can't remember exactly.
- 48:32Speaker 1: You know, Vicki saying like she misheard it, but basically
- 48:36Speaker 1: Dorinda got wind that Vicki said something, oh, you know,
- 48:40Speaker 1: Bluestone Manor is kind of old and dark. It's not
- 48:43Speaker 1: really my vibe. I'm paraphrasing something to that effect. Yes.
- 48:46Speaker 3: I remember now.
- 48:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 48:47Speaker 1: And then, you know, she just went off because, you know,
- 48:49Speaker 1: Bluestone Manor is, you know, so fabulous and was built
- 48:53Speaker 1: in 1922. And she has, and what would a woman who,
- 48:57Speaker 1: you know, dances on tables in Puerto Verde or wherever
- 49:01Speaker 1: know about taste or class. And then I just watched
- 49:04Speaker 1: a clip of it and she's like, well, clearly, you know, um,
- 49:07Speaker 1: she's jealous of me. And a lot of people are
- 49:09Speaker 1: jealous of me when you're doing as well as I am.
- 49:11Speaker 3: And I'm like, Oh God, what Dorinda said that?
- 49:14Speaker 1: Yes. And I'm like, I don't really think that's the case.
- 49:18Speaker 1: I mean, I think this stem from, they did not
- 49:20Speaker 1: get along.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Uh, And we're going to get to see that. And
- 49:24Speaker 1: I think it'll be fun and juicy.
- 49:26Speaker 9: But yeah, I think it's going to be a much
- 49:28Speaker 9: different vibe than the Turks and Caicos. I mean, I
- 49:32Speaker 9: love Dorinda, but Bluestone Manor is not that house of
- 49:35Speaker 9: Turks and Caicos.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Right. And of course, it's going to be a different
- 49:38Speaker 1: thing than if everybody just went to a remote location
- 49:42Speaker 1: where no one owns it. I mean, I think it
- 49:44Speaker 1: will be a very different vibe. It'll be super juicy.
- 49:47Speaker 1: The stakes in certain places will be higher just because
- 49:50Speaker 1: of that. So I actually think it's kind of brilliant
- 49:53Speaker 1: that they will be so different.
- 49:56Speaker 5: Yes.
- 49:57Speaker 9: I mean, not to say Dorinda's house isn't fabulous, but
- 50:04Speaker 9: in that.
- 50:04Speaker 3: It was a lot more work for her.
- 50:06Speaker 9: I mean, for Dorinda to have all the crew, all
- 50:09Speaker 9: the cast in her house, I mean, that's got to
- 50:11Speaker 9: be nerve wracking. So, you know, hats off to Dorinda
- 50:15Speaker 9: for having everyone in her home because that takes a
- 50:17Speaker 9: lot of work.
- 50:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:18Speaker 1: And you were the one that really made a point
- 50:21Speaker 1: to remind us that there was a fish room and
- 50:23Speaker 1: that you were constantly being, you're either wearing the bowels
- 50:27Speaker 1: of Ramona's house or the fish room.
- 50:31Speaker 3: I know. Right. And I, I think I took it
- 50:34Speaker 3: pretty well.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Yes.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Um, how do you feel about Ramona being a realtor now?
- 50:40Speaker 9: Like, You know, listen, listen, you know, Ramona loves, you know,
- 50:45Speaker 9: real estate. She loves home and decoration and stuff like that. So,
- 50:50Speaker 9: you know, I, I hope that she thrives in it.
- 50:52Speaker 9: You know, I think it's a good, it's a good,
- 50:55Speaker 9: it's a good second, you know, chance in life for
- 50:59Speaker 9: her to do something different.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Why not?
- 51:01Speaker 1: So you're not worried that she's going to be stolen
- 51:03Speaker 1: by the two little tiny Oppenheimer twins of selling Sunset?
- 51:09Speaker 1: She could wear those outfits. She could rock those tiny shorts.
- 51:14Speaker 3: She will, she will move to LA in a heartbeat.
- 51:20Speaker 1: Now, what is this about the spinoff of you and Sonia?
- 51:24Speaker 9: Well, I mean, I really can't talk about that. It's,
- 51:29Speaker 9: you know, nothing is confirmed. So I have really no
- 51:33Speaker 9: comment on it, but it does sound fabulous. So, you know,
- 51:36Speaker 9: let's see what happens.
- 51:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:39Speaker 1: I mean, from, well, I guess you can't say, but
- 51:41Speaker 1: I mean, I think it would be fun. I mean,
- 51:43Speaker 1: you guys are fun together. And, but one of the, one,
- 51:47Speaker 1: some of the comments was like, well, if this is
- 51:49Speaker 1: supposed to be the simple life, you know, Luann didn't,
- 51:53Speaker 1: wasn't born with a silver spoon in her house, in
- 51:55Speaker 1: her mouth, like Paris Hilton. And I was like, yeah,
- 51:57Speaker 1: you're right. You can cook. You're a nurse. Aren't you
- 52:00Speaker 1: one of seven? So I'm like, it can't be that
- 52:02Speaker 1: you're like, you know, I don't think it would be
- 52:05Speaker 1: that is what I'm saying. The way they wrote in
- 52:07Speaker 1: page six, I'm like, I don't think it'll be that
- 52:09Speaker 1: because you're not going to be like fumbling around like
- 52:12Speaker 1: an idiot, you know?
- 52:14Speaker 3: No, not at all. Not at all. So there you go. That's,
- 52:17Speaker 3: that's where rumors start. You see? Yeah. Page six. Don't forget.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Right.
- 52:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Well, good. So tell me what, if you were, if
- 52:26Speaker 1: you're going to do another, Oh, first let me ask,
- 52:30Speaker 1: do you, can you share anything about the talk of having,
- 52:33Speaker 1: you know, Real Housewives of New York, like classic and
- 52:39Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New York, newbies. Like, can you share
- 52:43Speaker 1: anything of, or what your thoughts were when you heard
- 52:46Speaker 1: those rumors?
- 52:47Speaker 9: Well, I, you know, I, you know, I was surprised
- 52:49Speaker 9: because I, um, I, I found out literally like everybody else, uh,
- 52:55Speaker 9: five minutes before.
- 52:56Speaker 3: So I was surprised. I really didn't see that coming. And, um,
- 53:01Speaker 3: and at first I was disappointed. And then I thought,
- 53:03Speaker 3: you know what?
- 53:04Speaker 9: I would really like to film with the OGs because
- 53:07Speaker 9: I feel comfortable with those girls. And it's always hard
- 53:10Speaker 9: to bring somebody new in and they don't really fit.
- 53:12Speaker 9: It's like, you know, the square peg in the round
- 53:14Speaker 9: hole doesn't fit. And so I feel like, you know what,
- 53:17Speaker 9: let them try a new cast and let's bring back
- 53:19Speaker 9: the old cast.
- 53:21Speaker 3: And, and, you know, I'm good with that.
- 53:23Speaker 9: I'm, you know, I'm excited about it. I, you know,
- 53:25Speaker 9: I don't know what's happening in terms of, you know
- 53:29Speaker 9: if I'm even being cast, but, you know, I think
- 53:32Speaker 9: we're going to have news fairly soon.
- 53:33Speaker 3: So that's exciting.
- 53:35Speaker 1: And, you know, that, that, That season was a struggle,
- 53:39Speaker 1: you know, because also what was going on in the world.
- 53:42Speaker 1: It was just like everybody was talking with their friends about,
- 53:46Speaker 1: you know, social injustice and politics and everything. Just so
- 53:50Speaker 1: then you guys would get together and it would come
- 53:52Speaker 1: up as well. But did you... when you were in
- 53:56Speaker 1: it and living it, did you go, did you have
- 53:59Speaker 1: the concerns of like, wow, this really isn't the usual
- 54:03Speaker 1: housewives fun. This feels like a struggle. Or did you
- 54:06Speaker 1: not realize it till like after you started watching it
- 54:09Speaker 1: and seeing like the audience reaction?
- 54:12Speaker 9: Well, listen, you know, I felt it was a struggle
- 54:14Speaker 9: from the get-go. You know, we filmed during Black Lives Matters.
- 54:16Speaker 9: We filmed during an election. We filmed during a pandemic and,
- 54:21Speaker 9: You know, so we were limited in terms of where
- 54:24Speaker 9: we could go. We were limited in having any people around,
- 54:28Speaker 9: you know, so it didn't feel like the party of
- 54:30Speaker 9: the housewives that usually does. And so I knew it
- 54:34Speaker 9: was going to be more difficult and. Um, and it was, uh,
- 54:38Speaker 9: filming and, um, you know, you never know until, you know,
- 54:42Speaker 9: you actually are seeing the show because, you know, we
- 54:44Speaker 9: don't edit it and all of that stuff. So, um,
- 54:48Speaker 9: so I, you know, I was, I actually was very
- 54:50Speaker 9: proud of ourselves for getting through the pandemic and filming.
- 54:54Speaker 3: Um, and I feel like we got.
- 54:55Speaker 9: To a good place at the end of the season,
- 54:57Speaker 9: you know, with Ramona's pajama party and our, um, and
- 55:01Speaker 9: our topless party, um, So, you know, I felt like
- 55:05Speaker 9: we were in a good place and, you know, and,
- 55:08Speaker 9: you know, I'm hoping the next season is going to
- 55:09Speaker 9: be even better.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Speaking of the topless moment, I thought it was kind
- 55:15Speaker 1: of not necessarily hypocritical because people change and times change.
- 55:19Speaker 1: But I remember when Ramona walked off the reunion because
- 55:24Speaker 1: she was like, I can't even, I'm just so, you know,
- 55:28Speaker 1: I can't even have a conversation about the fact that
- 55:30Speaker 1: Alex McCord is did some nude photos or something.
- 55:34Speaker 9: Right.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Topless.
- 55:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:35Speaker 1: And then here she is like just dancing around and.
- 55:38Speaker 3: Pasties looking good. Handing out titty pasties.
- 55:40Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:43Speaker 9: Well, listen, I think only stupid people don't change their mind.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Yeah. And I think it shows some growth on Ramona's part.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I mean, why the hell not?
- 55:53Speaker 3: Right. She looks great.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Who cares?
- 55:55Speaker 3: She looks great for Asia.
- 55:56Speaker 1: I agree. Now you guys didn't have a reunion and,
- 56:01Speaker 1: You know, we heard different reasons why, but how did
- 56:05Speaker 1: you feel about that?
- 56:07Speaker 9: Well, you know, I feel like, like I said, you know,
- 56:10Speaker 9: by the end of the season, I feel like we
- 56:12Speaker 9: we all got we're in a good place. I feel like,
- 56:15Speaker 9: you know, that with the timing issues of the show
- 56:19Speaker 9: and not getting the reunion done in time, it was
- 56:22Speaker 9: also a scheduling conflict issue with the network.
- 56:26Speaker 3: And so it just never happened.
- 56:27Speaker 9: And I I can't say that I was mad at
- 56:29Speaker 9: it because I was in the south of France and
- 56:31Speaker 9: I just stayed longer. So I was OK with it.
- 56:35Speaker 1: So you didn't have a reunion dress waiting in the
- 56:38Speaker 1: wings that now you could just use for your show? No,
- 56:41Speaker 1: you didn't have one planned out?
- 56:42Speaker 3: No, we didn't even get that far, you know?
- 56:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:46Speaker 3: So it was no big deal.
- 56:47Speaker 9: You know, listen, you know, the reunions are always difficult
- 56:50Speaker 9: in any case. So I feel like, you know, we've
- 56:53Speaker 9: gotten to a good place. So I really didn't feel
- 56:56Speaker 9: like we needed to rehash at all.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Do you have a favorite, like, reunion look or a
- 57:01Speaker 1: reunion look that you regretted that you're like.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Um, probably, well, let's see.
- 57:10Speaker 9: My favorite is, you know, probably, you know, I've worn
- 57:13Speaker 9: some really gorgeous Giovanni dresses in the reunion. Probably I
- 57:15Speaker 9: had this strapless black number one year that was amazing. Um,
- 57:21Speaker 9: so I've had a couple of favorite looks in my
- 57:23Speaker 9: worst look.
- 57:24Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 57:25Speaker 9: I would say it was probably in the very beginning of, of,
- 57:27Speaker 9: of the reunion.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Yeah. And do they always say to you like, okay,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you guys, the choice, you can wear either black or red,
- 57:36Speaker 1: send us three choices. Cause I always hear so many
- 57:39Speaker 1: different things about how they come up with that scheme.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 57:44Speaker 9: Well, basically they come up with a color scheme because,
- 57:46Speaker 9: you know, they have all these different franchises now.
- 57:49Speaker 3: And so we all have to look different. Right.
- 57:51Speaker 9: So basically it's a color scheme and then you kind
- 57:54Speaker 9: of pick your favorite look and then.
- 57:55Speaker 3: Set and send that in.
- 57:56Speaker 9: And, you know, the earlier you get it in the
- 57:58Speaker 9: better so that you get first choice.
- 58:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Or have you ever or I'm sure there's been a chance,
- 58:04Speaker 1: like if everyone has to wear yellow or something like
- 58:07Speaker 1: Atlanta or whatever. I think it was Atlanta or yellow.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:10Speaker 1: How many yellow fabulous gowns are out there? You know,
- 58:13Speaker 1: there's a chance that you might pick one that your
- 58:16Speaker 1: co-star also has.
- 58:17Speaker 9: And it's like, well, it's never happened to me. So
- 58:20Speaker 9: I've been lucky that way. We have different tastes on
- 58:22Speaker 9: my franchise.
- 58:23Speaker 1: That's good. Now, what is going on, um, with the sobriety?
- 58:29Speaker 1: Are you still totally sober or are you partaking?
- 58:32Speaker 9: Yeah, no, I'm, I'm totally sober and, you know, I
- 58:35Speaker 9: take it day by day. I, um, you know, listen, it's, uh, it's,
- 58:40Speaker 9: it's a, it's a journey and, um, it's, you know, progress,
- 58:44Speaker 9: not perfection, I say. And, you know, um, you know,
- 58:48Speaker 9: every day is, you know, people struggle with sobriety and,
- 58:51Speaker 9: you know, I'm no different.
- 58:53Speaker 3: And, um, so I take it day by day. I'm
- 58:55Speaker 3: so lucky.
- 58:56Speaker 9: I have my option of my which I will be
- 58:59Speaker 9: bringing to my California shows for everybody to try.
- 59:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I heard it is delicious.
- 59:05Speaker 9: So I'm super excited to have people taste it out
- 59:07Speaker 9: in LA. And, i'm actually having a party in the
- 59:10Speaker 9: hamptons on july 2nd to celebrate it um with purist
- 59:14Speaker 9: magazine so i'm really looking forward to that and you
- 59:18Speaker 9: know i um You know, I made something during the
- 59:22Speaker 9: pandemic with my daughter. My daughter is also sober, Victoria. And,
- 59:27Speaker 9: you know, we couldn't find something that we liked and
- 59:30Speaker 9: elevated in a beautiful bottle. You know, you're at the
- 59:32Speaker 9: mercy of a mocktail artist. And, you know, it's usually
- 59:34Speaker 9: sweet and filled with sugar. Um, and so, you know,
- 59:38Speaker 9: I wanted to have something that, that, um, it was
- 59:41Speaker 9: a great option and, you know, whether you don't drink
- 59:43Speaker 9: for a day or for a week or for the
- 59:46Speaker 9: rest of your life, um, it is a great option. And, um,
- 59:49Speaker 9: you know, people drink a glass of rosé, then they'll
- 59:51Speaker 9: have a glass of Fosay, uh, or people put vodka
- 59:55Speaker 9: in it. So, you know, it is, um, it's a great,
- 59:58Speaker 9: great option for me.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: I love it.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: It's low calorie and it is filled with fabulous ingredients
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: that are healthy for you. So there's a lot of
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: great qualities that go into it. I worked really hard
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: on it and came up with something that I really
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: love and people are loving it.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: So that's, that's fabulous. Okay.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I love that too. So, um, let me just ask you,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: how are you, are you getting a chance to keep
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: up with the other housewife shows? Have you seen Dubai?
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: I have glimpsed and, uh, watched a little bit of Dubai.
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: Excuse me. I've seen a little bit of Dubai. Um,
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: carolyn stansbury i know is like a friend of dorinda's
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: from england at a time so i've heard a lot
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: about her um and she looks gorgeous and has that
- 1:00:46Speaker 9: cute young boyfriend right and um and.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Then um and then i.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: Don't know who the there's like the one right in
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: the center with caroline she's looks like she might be
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: indian or.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: The the the model chanel yeah and she's like Very
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: bold in her opinions and they don't get along. Yeah.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Have you ever been to Dubai? Oh, you guys went,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: did you guys go as a cast to Dubai?
- 1:01:11Speaker 9: No, no, we didn't go to Dubai as a cast,
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: but I've been to Dubai before.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Not, not for long. I don't know it well, but,
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: but it looks pretty glamorous. Yeah.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I mean, it's, it's, as a viewer, it's kind of,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: it's like, you're excited for a new season, but it's
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: almost like, oh my God, I have to learn, you know,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: six new people. Cause normally if you go back to,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you know, a Beverly Hills, oh, there's one new person
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: that I can like, and then everybody else, I know
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: their backstory. So honestly, as like a viewer, it's kind of,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it feels like a little bit like more of an
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: effort and homework, you know, but I think, you know,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: it'll be a hit. People are, I mean, I'm going
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to continue to watch it. It's just taking time to like.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: Get into the characters.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Get a little more into it.
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: Yeah, you have to learn about the characters, get interested
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: in their storylines, you know, discover who they are. You know,
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: I think, like you said, you have to do a
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: little bit more homework because it's a new franchise.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: But it looks like it's cool and it looks like
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: they've got a lot of.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Money to play with those girls.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, that's really, I mean, it's interesting. It's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: kind of interesting. I've never been there. I don't know
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that I'll, I mean, I would probably only go if
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: it was like, You know, we're filming a TV show
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: or they hired me to do something like that's not
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: on my list to just like go with my family.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: So, yeah. So we'll see. But I wanted to also.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So what's going on with the love life?
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Are you.
- 1:02:36Speaker 9: Well, listen, you know, I'm you know, I I'm dating.
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: Do I have anybody special in my life?
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Not right now.
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: I've been, you know, so busy with the tour that
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: I'm focusing on that right now.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: And then this summer, you know, watch out. I'm single
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: and ready to mingle.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: And where are you going to be this summer? Mostly
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: in the Hamptons? Or are you traveling?
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: You know, I'll be Hamptons. I'll be traveling.
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: So, you know, I feel like timing is everything in life.
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: And I'm a hopeless romantic. So I feel like three
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: times the charm. So, you know, look at Teresa. She
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: found Louie.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: So there's hope out there.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, you know, I think it's like you definitely, though,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: have to. I think it's hard, though, too, as you know. Like,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you've got to find someone that's downtown. to be in
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: the limelight. And, you know, in his case, I think
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: he's comfortable in front of the camera and I think
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: he loves what she does, but then there's this risk
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: that it could, you know, affect your personal life and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: your business as well. It's like a double-edged sword, you know?
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: It is a double-edged sword. I think it's very difficult
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: for men.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: Um, but You know, my experience is that, you know, listen,
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: Jacques was great on the show. You know, he was
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: very supportive and he always, you know, came out looking
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: great because he was comfortable with who he was. And
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: I think if you've got skeletons in your closet, this
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: is definitely not the show you want to be on.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: And what's going on with Harry Dubin? Is he dating
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Ramona again? I saw some blind that they were out
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: smooching again.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: Well, you know, I, I wouldn't doubt it because, you know,
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: they move in the same kind of social circles. So,
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: you know, probably by the end of the night, you know,
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: they get a little bit more friendly.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: A little kissy, kissy, kissy, kissy by the toilettes, you know?
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: And so we're going to see you in LA. What
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: other dates do you have that you can share so
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: people can see you before you take a break?
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Well, you know what? I'm taking a break right after
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: my LA date. Oh, you are?
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Okay, great.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Catch me in LA.
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: And cause I've just been on tour. You know, I played,
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: let's see, like 11 shows. I did New York before that.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: And I did an East coast tour and then Canada.
- 1:04:52Speaker 9: So LA is where I'm landing. And yeah, Uh, super
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: excited to finish out my tour in Los Angeles with you.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Awesome. Okay. Well, I, I will be there on the 23rd.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: And so there are, there's still tickets available.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: There's still tickets.
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: I think, um, I think there's still some tickets available
- 1:05:11Speaker 9: on the 23rd and, but the 24th, 25th and 26,
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: there's some tickets and.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Um, and you know, but they're going fast.
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: So I'm excited to, to get there and perform and
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: see you and see all my friends in LA.
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Awesome. Well, thank you so much.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: I'm excited. The Housewives will be coming.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Oh, the Beverly Hills girls are coming?
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: Oh, yes.
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: The Beverly Hills girls are coming. There'll be some surprise
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: guests for sure. You're going to have a good time.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: And Beverly Hills is good. Yeah.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: It's great.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: I mean, I always love Beverly Hills and New York.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I mean, I love them all, but there's just certain
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: ones because it's my town and I just feel like
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: they always just bring it. And there's like, they have
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: the storylines like you guys do where You really can
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: go deep in the discussions. It's not just like, oh,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: this person, you know, said this mean thing or was
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: late to a party.
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: It's like, oh, I feel like I feel like that.
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: What I've seen of Dubai, it seems very superficial like that.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: But maybe I'm wrong. I haven't watched it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: It is. It's exactly that. I think sometimes when people
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: get into it and they're starting, it's like, you know,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: they've been watching it for 10 years. And so you
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: can't anybody that says, oh, I have it. They've been
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: watching it. They kind of know like, well, I guess
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: I should be bringing this or we got to come
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: off in a bang. So that's why I'm like, I
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: wasn't really that in love with it, but I'm like, okay,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: let's give it some breather because the trailer looks good.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: But yeah, but when you have people that you've watched
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: for a long time, it's like they don't have to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: do some weird activity. Like they can just sit around
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and With a Bloody Mary and you've got 10 minutes
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: of like really good TV. And so that's why I
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: love it. Well, I'm excited to see all the Beverly
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Hills girls too. So thank you. Tell everybody where they
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: can get their tickets if they're in LA.
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: Well, if you're in L.A., I'm at CountessLuanne.com and I'll
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: be at the El Rey Theater for four nights.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I'm feeling Giovanni. Money can't buy a class.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: And, you know, life is a cabaret, my friends.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: It really is. All right. Thanks so much, Luanne.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: This was great.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Thanks, Heather.
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: Great to see you, honey.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Take care.
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: Bye.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: Thanks. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have a
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: great guest. I'm going to talk a lot about fashion,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: what we all need in our lives. Thanks to my girlfriend,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Jen Principe, also the author of her new book, A
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Common Thread. And what is it? A Fashion for the
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Soul book. Great stories, great tips, everything. Welcome, Jen.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: I'm so excited to be here.
- 1:07:41Speaker 10: This is my first in-person since COVID interview, so it's
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: nice to just be face-to-face.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely. And you brought a lot of great ideas.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I really enjoy our friendship. I love that you've been
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: married forever. You have two strapping boys that work with
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: your husband, and you are the soul girl, stylist, girly
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: girl forever. stylist to stars, regular people, and you always
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: look great. And so I'm so glad you put all
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: your tips, all your ideas in this book. It's really great.
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: I'm really, really excited about the book and it just
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: launched last Tuesday. So I made the bestseller list.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Already, which is really awesome.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: I'm really happy for you. Yeah, right underneath Anna Wintour.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: So I was like, oh my God, my face right there.
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: It's amazing.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: But yeah, I'm very excited about the book. I think
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: it's going to change lives.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: So Yeah. I mean, what I really like is like,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I always struggle. I love fashion and everything. I always
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: struggle with what to get rid of in my closet,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: what I need. Now that I'm a woman of a
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: certain age, I still like to show my legs. I still,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: but my body's changed a little. Like I definitely am
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: not the size I was, um, you know, five years ago. Yeah.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: And I don't want to wear Spanx. Yeah. I do
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: not have a good time in Spanx. When I was
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: like on TV all the time, every Yeah. know, a
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: line super tight dress when I was, you know, would
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: be that Spanx and I could not wait to take
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: it off. Now I'm like, what can I, you know,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: look great and still feel cute, still have a great time,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: not have a clinging on to like, you know, a
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: squirt of fat that I'm not into. So, um, I
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: love that you brought these items. So here's your book.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: You look so cute here.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Um, and we'll tell everybody where they can get it
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: at the end and all the fun stuff, but okay,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: let's get right into, I love that you style these, um, items.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: So you have a beautiful, like this kind of this
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: color that I'm wearing right now, this coral color, like
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: describe what is going on in this. Yeah.
- 1:09:35Speaker 10: So what I did is this is how I work
- 1:09:37Speaker 10: with my clients is I, you know, I kind of
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: put everything on a mood board for them with different
- 1:09:41Speaker 10: options and different price points. But, um, I just brought
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: in the current trend, um, which is a lot of
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: bright colors. But this also, I don't know if you
- 1:09:47Speaker 10: can see it, but it has a little cutout on
- 1:09:49Speaker 10: the side. And cutouts are really, really big. So for
- 1:09:52Speaker 10: people that are very young and can handle the cutouts
- 1:09:54Speaker 10: that are all over the place, that's great. But for us,
- 1:09:56Speaker 10: we have to be very selective on where we want
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: the cutout to be. So this particular dress, it's ALC.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: It's beautiful.
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: And the cutout is on the side, and it's an
- 1:10:05Speaker 10: area that is just– you can rock it. You can
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: totally rock it. So the other thing I put in
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: here is platforms are coming back.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Huge, big, freaking platforms. I'm wearing a platform right now.
- 1:10:15Speaker 8: Yeah, big, freaking platforms.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I mean, I'm tall, but the reason I like a
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: platform and a platform and a wedge is just they're
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: so much more comfortable. They're comfortable, for sure. They're comfortable. Yeah.
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: And then I put a rock-studded shoe just for a
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: little edge. I love that fan bag. And then just
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: a couple options. And I always throw in sunnies because
- 1:10:32Speaker 10: I'm from Southern California.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes. So cute. Thank you. Now, this is like
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: a little more of a casual. You know, this is
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: an off-the-shoulder. And I love a look of an off-the-shoulder.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: But again, I kind of struggle with wearing an off-the-shoulder
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: all day. Because it's, like, it's falling. It's falling. And then, like,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: you almost have to have, like, a little bag like
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: you have. You cannot have a strap bag because that
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: will– so– and then you've got to get the right
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: type of bra. So how do you deal with all
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: those things?
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:11:04Speaker 10: So, well, the reason I chose this is because we're
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: going into summer. So this is– when I choose for
- 1:11:09Speaker 10: my clients in the summer, I really try to choose, like,
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: fabrics that are light. And this is cottony, very, very
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: light fabric. Off the shoulder, I think, is such a
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: beautiful trend because it shows your decollete. So no matter
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: how old you get until you're, like, probably, you know,
- 1:11:20Speaker 10: in your late 70s, it's harder to do.
- 1:11:22Speaker 8: But I see women in their 70s and 80s still
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: rocking it.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and what is great, too, is it then covers, like,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: the armpit. It covers this area for sure. I call
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: it the, you know, vaginal armpit. The squirts of fat
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: around the brow. Like, you're right. It's like, I was
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: just thinking about that the other day. I'm like, I
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: don't know why I don't have more. things like that
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: because it is still good and it is still flattering. Yeah,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: it's great.
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: I love off the shoulder and it's great for travel.
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: A good, you know, strapless bra.
- 1:11:50Speaker 10: I tend to wear just the silicone pasties because I
- 1:11:52Speaker 10: don't really need the lift.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: But, and they're, and they're amazing. And then everyone needs
- 1:11:58Speaker 10: a good summer hat. And then I love this wedge.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: It's so cool.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: I'm seeing a lot of this heel now.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. It's a lucite heel.
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: Yeah, and Fendi started this.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Sort of trend.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Oh, it's not a lucite heel. No, it's not.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: It's a metal.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: It's a metal. It's actually pretty comfortable. So it's like open.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: It looks like it can't handle your foot, but it can.
- 1:12:14Speaker 10: And so this is– I think Fendi started the trend.
- 1:12:16Speaker 10: This is called Gaia, so it's a lower price line,
- 1:12:18Speaker 10: and then everyone needs hoops in their wardrobe. So I
- 1:12:21Speaker 10: just threw that all together.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and the dress is only– $ 115? Is that what
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: that price is?
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: No, that's the earring. I don't know if the price
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: is on there. It's very reasonably priced. It is about $ 130. Okay,
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: this is Zara suit.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: So you're going to be seeing a lot of colored suits.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I love lime. It's huge. With the blazer and a
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: wide-legged trouser pant. Right.
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: And again, she's like, what, 12? So she can pull
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: off wearing just a bra.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Yeah, under the blazer, which is cute.
- 1:12:51Speaker 10: So I put it with a bodysuit. And then that heel, again,
- 1:12:54Speaker 10: I'm into these great heels. And I love a monochromatic look.
- 1:12:57Speaker 10: That's called Gaia. Everyone needs a solid gold chain in
- 1:13:00Speaker 10: their wardrobe. And then I put two pairs of sunnies.
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: that I would rock it with. So yeah, that's a
- 1:13:06Speaker 10: Zara trend.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I actually own that suit. This is really cute.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: It's so cute.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I feel like I got to go get that because
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: when I perform in Napa, like that's what I should
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: be wearing.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: It's a little like oversized and loose.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: And then, yeah, and then it's like, let's go shopping
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: at Zara. Yes, and also, yeah, and the way the
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: pants works, what I kind of like about this is
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: you still are seeing, like, a shape and a thin thigh.
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: But it's taking away from, like, you know, the skinny
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: jean or when the skinny look is out. And then
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: what I also like about this length is you could
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: wear a platformer or a wedge and have a more
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: comfortable shoe.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: You could, or if you really want to get edgy,
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: you could shorten it and wear it with a sneaker.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: That's true.
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: Which is like an edgier look.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: It might not be for you, but that's another option.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I don't like– my ankles are very small, the circumference
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: of them. So I've never been a capri pant girl.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I hate T-length.
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: So do you do strappy shoes or do you not
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: like that?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: You know, I'll do a strappy ankle. Yeah, because you
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: have a skinny ankle.
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: I'm not weird about that.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: You could do that. I used to be weird about it.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I thought it emphasized it, but then I– I don't know.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: One day I thought it looked kind of cute.
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: It is cute.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: But I don't like like cropped pants on me. But
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I like to look on other people.
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: Crop pants are hard in general. That's just a trend
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: that I've not really gotten into. If you wear a crop,
- 1:14:23Speaker 10: I think you have to wear a heel. You have
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: to make it kind of sexy on top.
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: I just think crops with, like, sneakers is just– unless, again,
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: like you're 12.
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: It doesn't look great. I don't think it's a– it's
- 1:14:33Speaker 8: not my favorite trend.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: What do we have next?
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: Oh, these are your basic essentials.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Let's get into the basic essentials that everyone needs in
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: their wardrobe.
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: Everyone needs this. And I could have, you know, given
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: you a lot of stuff.
- 1:14:45Speaker 10: In fact, we'll talk about my QR code and all
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: this is on my website and plus more.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: But yeah. So everyone needs a good buttery leather black jacket.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Totally agree. This particular one is, who is this?
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: Slide.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Oh, what do you mean? No, no, no.
- 1:15:02Speaker 8: I put it on the side.
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: Oh, sorry. Sorry.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: Okay, nope, can't see it.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: Oh, I can't remember who it is, but.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: Why am I forgetting?
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: If you want to pause, you can go to the link. No,
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: if you slide down, it's not there.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I have a screenshot. She screen grabbed it.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Oh, okay, okay.
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: So this is a great leather jacket, and the price
- 1:15:22Speaker 8: point's like $ 4.
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: 99.
- 1:15:22Speaker 10: So for a good, buttery leather, it's really reasonably priced.
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: Everyone needs a jean jacket. You can do a regular
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: jean one. I like this one with the little puff
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: sleeve because I feel like it gives you a little
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: bit more fashion.
- 1:15:34Speaker 8: That's on there.
- 1:15:35Speaker 10: Um, a good cami and, um, cami New York is
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: where I tend to buy mine because they have a
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: little lace and they're just easy to wear. T-shirts, um,
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: redone is one of my favorite lines cause it's a
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: little cropped and I like them a little bit shorter,
- 1:15:48Speaker 10: but on my website I have all different styles.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: A good hat. I like a v-neck t-shirt.
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: And I do feel like, um, I know sometimes as
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: people are like, who would pay, you know, nine, $ 85
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: for a t-shirt. And, uh, But I have recently and
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: I'm like, God, a really great t-shirt lasts really long
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: and you feel like it fits you good or it's
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: in a great color and you wear it a lot more.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: But you can also find something very similar for $ 20.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: You can.
- 1:16:19Speaker 10: You're just going to need to replace it more often probably.
- 1:16:23Speaker 8: But you definitely can. Once I find what I like,
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: I tend to stick with that and I like a
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: shorter length.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Sleeve.
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: Sleeve and a little bit more of a boy crew
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: cut for me.
- 1:16:35Speaker 10: A pair of aviators. Again, there's that necklace. A good
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: clutch in gold works really well. A pair of hoop earrings.
- 1:16:42Speaker 10: And then I put a black tennis shoe and a
- 1:16:43Speaker 10: white tennis shoe. I mean, of course, you can go
- 1:16:45Speaker 10: nuts with tennis shoes. You can get Golden Goose, which
- 1:16:47Speaker 10: is like $ 600, or you can get Stan Smith that's
- 1:16:50Speaker 10: been around forever and accomplish a similar look.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: My one friend kept going, you've got to get Golden Goose.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: If you're going to wear tennis shoes on stage, you
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: have to. And I just felt like it's just I
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: see it everywhere and it's so trendy and I don't
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: really like the dirty look of it. I don't.
- 1:17:07Speaker 10: I remember I first got it and I came home
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: and my husband's like, what are those? And then he
- 1:17:12Speaker 10: found out how much they work because the credit card
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: came in and he's like, are you kidding?
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: They look like they're used. Yeah. Such a huge trend.
- 1:17:20Speaker 8: I like them. But, you know, it's like fashion sometimes
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: has to grow on you.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: And even me, like sometimes I see it, I'm like,
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: I'm never going to wear that. And then after a while,
- 1:17:27Speaker 10: I'm like, maybe I'm going to wear that. And then
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: I'll incorporate it.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it does.
- 1:17:32Speaker 10: And then there's certain things I just will not wear.
- 1:17:34Speaker 10: But then these are vejas. These black ones are super cute.
- 1:17:37Speaker 10: A closed-toe pump is a black and nude are your basics.
- 1:17:41Speaker 10: But I like this one because it's got clear and
- 1:17:42Speaker 10: it's just got.
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: Some edge to it.
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: A slip dress, a nude shoe, and a bootleg. And then,
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: of course, a blazer.
- 1:17:48Speaker 10: These are just– you have to have these things in
- 1:17:50Speaker 10: your wardrobe. And I could make 10 outfits out of this.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:54Speaker 8: Yeah, so these are the basic essentials.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: I basically have all of this.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: Good.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I don't think, I don't have a good pair of
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: cool ripped jean shorts. I kind of was wondering if
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I'm too old for that. Well, you don't have to
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: do ripped jeans. I mean, the shorts, the shorts, the
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: jean shorts. No, no, you have great legs.
- 1:18:10Speaker 8: Are you kidding? Flun them while you can.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: For sure. I know, but like, I feel like it
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: could look a little like, at a certain age, like
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: how do you, how do you make that work? And
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: not look like a crazy old lady that, like, you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: don't want to let into the store. Okay.
- 1:18:26Speaker 10: So I think when we slide, we're going to do
- 1:18:27Speaker 10: the next one.
- 1:18:28Speaker 8: So beach.
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: Beach.
- 1:18:30Speaker 10: You wear them to the beach with a bathing suit.
- 1:18:32Speaker 8: Or you can wear them with a blazer over it.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: A blazer. A heel. It looks really cute. Yeah.
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: A long blazer. So here's your jean short.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:18:40Speaker 10: I put this on here because we're going into summer.
- 1:18:42Speaker 10: Bucket hats are huge right now.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: So I put that cute little bucket hat. I don't
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: know about my face with a bucket hat, but I
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: like the look on other people. It's cute. Yeah.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: It's cute.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: One of those you have to wear.
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: To grow.
- 1:18:50Speaker 10: And then cutouts on the bathing suits are still really
- 1:18:53Speaker 10: big and one pieces. And then this cover-up I really
- 1:18:56Speaker 10: like because it buttons all the way down, so it
- 1:18:58Speaker 10: can dub as a duster as well.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. That's good.
- 1:19:02Speaker 10: And then I did a colored lens on a sunglass
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: because I like that to tie in sort of the
- 1:19:07Speaker 10: whole look. Sometimes I'll throw in a colored lens of
- 1:19:09Speaker 10: whatever color I have going on.
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: And then I did.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: A studded shoe. So yeah, very cute.
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: I totally wear that to the beach.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. And I love that one piece suits
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: are in. They're so big. Yes. What's the suit that I,
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: that I, that they gave me? Oh my God. It's called,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I think it's called TR three and they're one piece
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: suits and they tie in the back. So they suck
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: in your waist.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: TR3.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:19:37Speaker 8: I'm going to have to check that out.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: They're extremely flattering, and they have really high cut. Oh,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: I like that. Or you can get it a little lower,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: but they still have that suck in. People have tried
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: these one-piece suits that are almost like spank suits or whatever,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: but they sometimes almost make you look fatter because they
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: cut you. They cut your skin. So this cut is
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: really nice. Okay.
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: I'll check that out.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I will feature it.
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:20:03Speaker 8: I'll check that out.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:20:05Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:20:06Speaker 8: Are we done?
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: So, okay, summer.
- 1:20:08Speaker 8: Yeah, summer's right here. So another, like, basic essential is
- 1:20:10Speaker 8: a maxi. And I did off the shoulder again. This
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: is beautiful.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: It's a great dress for travel. With a big slit
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: in the leg. Love it. I like it.
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: Yeah, that would look great on you.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You know what I hate about slit legs is every
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: dress puts the slit with the left leg leading.
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: Do you know that? I've never noticed that.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And I always, I have a very specific way that
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: I pose, and I am right leg leaning. Oh. And
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I always thought if I was ever going to get
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: like a dress made, I would obviously want like, like
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: I always thought if I ever like was going to
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: the Oscars or whatever, some big thing, I definitely want
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: like off the shoulder where, so the covers of the
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: bad part of like behind the arm and then nipped
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: in at the waist and go down, have the slit.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: But on the right leg. Just notice. That's really funny, Heather.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I've never thought about that. See, this is her left leg.
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: I've never thought about that.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: And so then, like, yeah, you notice how you have
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: a good side or whatever.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I have a good side, too. So my right is
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: my good side, so my right leg's always out. And
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: every dress I have, then when I pose for it,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: trying to get that left leg out, I'm not happy
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: with the photo.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: No.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: That's really funny.
- 1:21:22Speaker 8: I'm going to start paying attention to your photos now.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: So fashion designers listening to this, if you can just
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: try it. Just for Heather. Just try it. See if
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it– I'm telling you, they'll still sell. Nobody else will
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: care but me. I need a right-legged slit. A right-legged slit.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: That's too funny. No, but this is a really cute dress.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Cute look.
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: And then again, there's that clear shoe.
- 1:21:44Speaker 10: So if you don't know what color to wear– On
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: the bottom because you have a lot going on.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Clear is a very big trend.
- 1:21:49Speaker 8: And all these, like, cool heels.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: But it's, like, clear with a strap. It's not like
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: a hooker clear shoe. No, no, no.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: So cute.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Or a stripper. So cute.
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: And then a chain necklace. And there's your hoop earrings again,
- 1:21:58Speaker 8: a pair of sunnies.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: So easy. Yeah, you still have the... You have this
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: chain-link necklace on. I wear this every day. And I
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: feel like that's been in for, like, a couple years.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh, my God, I still love it
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: and everything. But I'm like, is that going to be gone? No, no.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: Get it.
- 1:22:13Speaker 8: No, get it.
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: But why.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: But where was it three years ago? I feel like
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: six years ago, everyone had the bar. The bar. Sometimes
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: there was a name. Sometimes there was nothing. And it
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: was the bar this way and then a chain. Yeah.
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: And then the layering and all that.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: And the bar would like sit between your whatever these
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: bones are.
- 1:22:34Speaker 10: I don't think this trend is going anywhere soon. So
- 1:22:36Speaker 10: I would invest now. You can get a knockoff.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: You don't have to get a real gold one. Can
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: I just tell you? There is a real gold one.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: People are going to die. There's a real gold one,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: a very good quality, kind of thick like you have,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: like a little more. $ 500, Costco.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: Oh!
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: And I've been eyeing it and eyeing it. I'd be
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: going to Costco. But I was just kind of like,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: is this going to go out? You would be wearing
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: this today. I would be wearing it if I had it. No, no, no.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: I think the trend is going to stay for a while.
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: And you know what?
- 1:23:05Speaker 10: Once it goes away, you just– I don't get rid
- 1:23:07Speaker 10: of jewelry. That's one thing I don't get rid of. Jewelry,
- 1:23:10Speaker 10: belts– um, like great outerwear pieces.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: And stuff like that. But I, I would be at
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: Costco today before that sucker's gone.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, probably. Well, I have to head down that way
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: to the good, to the, like my favorite. Well, my
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Costco is really nice in Woodland Hills, but the Westlake one,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: sometimes they have different stuff. I have to go that
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: way to the DMV. So fun story. Fun story. Um, okay.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: So let's get back to the book here. Um, So
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: tell me a little bit, tell us a little bit
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: about the book and the QR code and the chapters
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: and the stories within the fashion. Okay.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: So yeah, the book is called A Common Thread.
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: And I chose that name because there's two threads that
- 1:23:51Speaker 10: have been running through my life since as far back
- 1:23:53Speaker 10: as I can remember, and that's faith and fashion. And
- 1:23:56Speaker 10: it's really a weaving of these stories that have happened
- 1:23:59Speaker 10: throughout my life.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: What is your faith?
- 1:24:02Speaker 10: Well, I came from an Orthodox Jewish family. My grandfather
- 1:24:05Speaker 10: was the chief Orthodox rabbi of Los Angeles.
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: For 53 years.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: So like black hat, like really, really Orthodox.
- 1:24:12Speaker 10: But my father who raised me was more conservatives, but
- 1:24:16Speaker 10: I spent my weekends at my grandmother's house. So it
- 1:24:18Speaker 10: was really kind of dogmatic. So I weaved In and
- 1:24:22Speaker 10: Out of Faith. And my book is a weaving of
- 1:24:24Speaker 10: In and Out of Faith. And it's also how the
- 1:24:27Speaker 10: universe sort of spoke to me. And The stories are
- 1:24:29Speaker 10: true stories. They're my life stories.
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: And they're.
- 1:24:35Speaker 10: The things that taught me the basic virtues of life
- 1:24:37Speaker 10: about forgiveness and resilience and humility and courage. And they're
- 1:24:42Speaker 10: all told in a way that sort of ties in
- 1:24:44Speaker 10: faith or fashion in one way or another. And, you know,
- 1:24:48Speaker 10: I came from, I came from abuse, like I came
- 1:24:50Speaker 10: from alcohol, I came from a lot of people see
- 1:24:52Speaker 10: me like you, I don't know what you thought of
- 1:24:54Speaker 10: me when you first met me. But I had, I
- 1:24:56Speaker 10: had several people come up to me after reading this book.
- 1:24:59Speaker 10: And they're like, you know what, I'm sorry, like, I
- 1:25:02Speaker 10: really judged a book by its cover. And there's a
- 1:25:04Speaker 10: story in my book called judge a book by its
- 1:25:06Speaker 10: cover and story about me judging somebody else and the
- 1:25:09Speaker 10: lesson I learned, but You know, I.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Live a beautiful life. Because you are very pretty and
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: put together.
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Your husband is also very attractive. He's pretty darn handsome.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: You guys are wealthy. You're outgoing. Your sons are cute. Like,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: you know, you've led a great life. You're put together
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and you're sexy for your age, you know, too. So, yeah,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: I think people probably just thought you're this like, like
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: you won the lottery and the, you know, trophy wife girl.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: I think a lot of people think that.
- 1:25:41Speaker 10: And I had somebody say to me and actually quoted
- 1:25:43Speaker 10: her in the book that once she got to know
- 1:25:44Speaker 10: a bit, like a tidbit of my story, she was like, Jen,
- 1:25:48Speaker 10: you weren't born in a Faberge egg.
- 1:25:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25:50Speaker 10: I was not like, I came from, I came from trauma,
- 1:25:53Speaker 10: like major trauma. And I, myself as a teenager, I
- 1:25:58Speaker 10: really struggled.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: I struggled with depression.
- 1:25:59Speaker 8: I was kicked out of school.
- 1:26:00Speaker 10: Four times for fighting. I went to jail several times.
- 1:26:03Speaker 10: I mean, I had a gnarly background. And this is
- 1:26:07Speaker 10: a story I wrote this book, I took a leap
- 1:26:09Speaker 10: of faith, it's really scary to put yourself out there
- 1:26:11Speaker 10: and be this frickin vulnerable. And I put myself out
- 1:26:16Speaker 10: there because I believe that my stories will help others
- 1:26:18Speaker 10: rise from the ashes and also realize that trauma is
- 1:26:22Speaker 10: not a final destination, like we can really overcome hard things.
- 1:26:25Speaker 10: And so that's why I took the leap of faith
- 1:26:27Speaker 10: to put it out there. And then in the process,
- 1:26:30Speaker 10: because I love fashion and I've always loved fashion since I.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Was a little girl.
- 1:26:34Speaker 10: I've loved fashion and I've been doing photo shoots for years,
- 1:26:37Speaker 10: even before I went into my career. But it wasn't
- 1:26:40Speaker 10: until I really got into my career, Heather, that I
- 1:26:42Speaker 10: really fell in love with fashion. And the reason I
- 1:26:44Speaker 10: did is not because of the aesthetics of fashion. I
- 1:26:49Speaker 10: think that clothes and wardrobe extend way beyond covering our
- 1:26:52Speaker 10: bodies and making ourselves look beautiful. There's a psychological impact
- 1:26:56Speaker 10: that clothes have on our psyche. And I've seen that
- 1:26:59Speaker 10: happen More so with all of my clients, but.
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: Then with my nonprofit even more. That's when I really.
- 1:27:05Speaker 10: Fell in love with fashion. And what's your nonprofit? So
- 1:27:08Speaker 10: 20% of the proceeds goes towards my nonprofit. It's called
- 1:27:11Speaker 10: The Phoenix Effect. I started it nine years ago, and
- 1:27:13Speaker 10: I curate photo shoots for people that suffer from life-dubilitating
- 1:27:17Speaker 10: diseases and trauma.
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: Did you not know that? No, I did not know that. Yeah,
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: it's on my website.
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: The transformations are freaking remarkable.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:27:27Speaker 10: But I named it the Phoenix Effect because the metaphorical phoenix,
- 1:27:30Speaker 10: you know, dives into the fire and it reemerges a stronger,
- 1:27:35Speaker 10: you know, more beautiful bird. And so when people go
- 1:27:37Speaker 10: through trauma and cancer, they lose parts of their identity.
- 1:27:40Speaker 10: They're losing their hair. They're losing like they're losing it all.
- 1:27:43Speaker 10: So it's hard for them to reemerge back into like.
- 1:27:46Speaker 8: Material.
- 1:27:47Speaker 10: And so I know the benefits of it. So I
- 1:27:49Speaker 10: meet with these families, and we curate beautiful photo shoots
- 1:27:52Speaker 10: based on, you know, what they want, what do they
- 1:27:54Speaker 10: need at the time, and they literally come alive on camera.
- 1:27:58Speaker 10: And then they're provided a coffee table, a memorialized coffee
- 1:28:02Speaker 10: table book to keep. And now we give away clothes
- 1:28:04Speaker 10: and sorts of wishes along the way. But So that's
- 1:28:08Speaker 10: really why I'm here. I feel like, you know, God
- 1:28:10Speaker 10: gave me this gift for a reason and that's to
- 1:28:12Speaker 10: give back to other people. It's not to just make
- 1:28:14Speaker 10: everybody look pretty.
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Well, it's so true. And it's like, and what is
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: really fun about fashion is that like, there'd be those
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: certain outfits, especially when I was like single, like there
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: was a halter black romper from express that every time
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: I wore that outfit, You got attention. I got attention.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: I had the best night ever. I know. You know,
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: and then there's certain outfits that you buy and you
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: try a couple times. And have you ever bought something
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: that you think is great and you realize you've worn
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: it three times and nobody told you that they liked it?
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: No.
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: And you're like.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Just kidding. No, but no, maybe not.
- 1:28:54Speaker 9: Yes.
- 1:28:54Speaker 8: Honestly, it's kind of rare for me too.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: But I kind of go, that's interesting. Yeah. Like, not
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: that many people complimented me on this. Like, I thought
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: it was, like, kind of great, you know? And then
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: you're like, maybe it's not. Or, like, there's certain items
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: that you buy and you're like, oh, I spent a
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: lot on it, but I still haven't worn it yet.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Or I don't have the right undergarments for it. What
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: is your advice to that? Do you just go bite
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: the bullet, give it away, or sell it on one
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: of these resale things? Like, that's where I have a
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: hard time.
- 1:29:23Speaker 10: Okay, here's my answer. First of all, yes, I purchased
- 1:29:25Speaker 10: a lot of fashion faux pas through.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: But I've also purchased things that make me feel really good.
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: And if I don't get compliments on them, it makes
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: me feel good. I feel good in it.
- 1:29:36Speaker 10: But, you know, what we wear shapes our experience, right?
- 1:29:39Speaker 10: I mean, that's exactly what you were saying with your
- 1:29:41Speaker 10: express romper.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: It does. It shapes our– it.
- 1:29:45Speaker 10: Can shape our parameters. So sometimes we go out and
- 1:29:47Speaker 10: we feel like a million bucks, right? We walk in,
- 1:29:49Speaker 10: our head held high.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: We're like, ooh, I look good.
- 1:29:51Speaker 8: And then other times we just don't feel good in
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: what we're wearing. Give it away. If you don't feel
- 1:29:55Speaker 8: good in what you're wearing, give it to somebody.
- 1:29:57Speaker 10: Who will enjoy it because there's so many people in need.
- 1:30:00Speaker 10: And I like to visualize like people walking around wearing
- 1:30:03Speaker 10: like my stuff and like being happy.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: It makes me feel really good.
- 1:30:07Speaker 10: So I go through my wardrobe all the time and
- 1:30:08Speaker 10: I give away stuff that like– if I haven't worn
- 1:30:11Speaker 10: it in a year, there's a reason why. But if
- 1:30:14Speaker 10: it makes me feel really good, and that's the whole
- 1:30:16Speaker 10: purpose of wardrobe. Somebody can hire me and I can
- 1:30:19Speaker 10: make you look fashionable, no problem. But if I'm in
- 1:30:21Speaker 10: somebody's wardrobe and they're like, oh, I got this from
- 1:30:24Speaker 10: my brother, gave it to me before he passed away.
- 1:30:26Speaker 10: Or I got this from my husband, this really means
- 1:30:29Speaker 10: a lot to me.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Should I wear it?
- 1:30:30Speaker 8: Is it still in fashion?
- 1:30:31Speaker 10: I'm like, it is 100% in fashion if it makes
- 1:30:34Speaker 10: you feel good. And we're going to incorporate it and
- 1:30:37Speaker 10: make it so that it does look good with whatever
- 1:30:40Speaker 10: you're wearing. So My answer is if it makes you
- 1:30:43Speaker 10: feel good, then you should wear it.
- 1:30:44Speaker 8: Yeah. If it doesn't make you feel good, get rid
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: of it.
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: Well, tell everybody where they can find your website, all
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: this stuff, and the cool QR code that's the part
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: of the book. Yeah.
- 1:30:56Speaker 10: So the best part about the book is I wrote
- 1:30:58Speaker 10: this book and then I have always wanted to provide
- 1:31:01Speaker 10: a platform for people who can't afford the luxury of
- 1:31:03Speaker 10: a personal size because it is expensive and it's a luxury.
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:31:06Speaker 8: And I want to help more people.
- 1:31:07Speaker 10: So I woke up in the middle of the night
- 1:31:08Speaker 10: and I was like– and this was during COVID when
- 1:31:10Speaker 10: we had to like scan.
- 1:31:11Speaker 8: All the codes. And I'm like, oh, my God, I
- 1:31:13Speaker 8: have this idea.
- 1:31:14Speaker 10: What if I do fashion tutorials and I put QR
- 1:31:17Speaker 10: codes in my book and then people can scan them
- 1:31:19Speaker 10: and I can teach them how to become their own
- 1:31:21Speaker 10: personal stylist?
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: So I started doing.
- 1:31:24Speaker 10: That and I started filming these tutorials about a year ago.
- 1:31:27Speaker 10: And so I built this thing called the Wardrobe Wisdom Club.
- 1:31:32Speaker 10: And when you scan the codes, you get your basic
- 1:31:35Speaker 10: essential wardrobe for free. There's like, I think, four videos.
- 1:31:38Speaker 10: They're long and they tell you exactly what you need
- 1:31:40Speaker 10: in your wardrobe with free downloads, etc. And then you
- 1:31:43Speaker 10: join the wardrobe wisdom club. It's $ 15 a month, which
- 1:31:46Speaker 10: is so reasonable with links on where to buy things,
- 1:31:48Speaker 10: free downloads. And I cover everything from basic essentials, body types,
- 1:31:54Speaker 10: also with downloads so that you can do's and don'ts
- 1:31:56Speaker 10: for your body type. So when you go shopping, if
- 1:31:58Speaker 10: you can find an experienced salesperson, you can say, Hey,
- 1:32:01Speaker 10: I'm looking for a shift dress. I'm looking for, you know,
- 1:32:05Speaker 10: I give them verbiage that they know what to find.
- 1:32:09Speaker 8: Body types, color, tailoring, vintage. I mean, you name it,
- 1:32:13Speaker 8: it's all in there.
- 1:32:14Speaker 10: And then bimonthly, you'll get a newsletter with more looks,
- 1:32:17Speaker 10: just trends for the season, things I've run into that
- 1:32:20Speaker 10: I love, et cetera. So the QR code is in
- 1:32:23Speaker 10: the book and it's scannable. And there's four in the
- 1:32:26Speaker 10: book total because there's a story in there about my
- 1:32:29Speaker 10: son who which is incredible. It's chapter three and it's
- 1:32:32Speaker 10: a documentary that he made that is grab tissues. It's
- 1:32:35Speaker 10: really fricking good. So yeah, so there's the book. You
- 1:32:38Speaker 10: can get it on Amazon. You can get it Barnes
- 1:32:40Speaker 10: and Noble online. I did an audible with my own
- 1:32:44Speaker 10: voice that apparently everyone really likes.
- 1:32:46Speaker 8: I had no idea.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: So I did an audible.
- 1:32:50Speaker 10: And then my website is jpstyles.com. So you can go
- 1:32:53Speaker 10: to my website. You can buy it there.
- 1:32:55Speaker 8: And I'm on Instagram.
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Yes, of course.
- 1:32:57Speaker 8: So you can follow me there.
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and your Instagram is great. You get a lot
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: of fashion tips just by following her on Instagram and
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: get to see her cute life too.
- 1:33:04Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Thank you, girl. Thanks for having me.
