- 0:00The Donald Trump presidency can light a major fire under the
- 0:03price of silver and gold. It may not feel that way right
- 0:07now, but after this video, after we listen to what Goldman Sachs
- 0:12is saying, we could expect out of this Donald Trump presidency
- 0:16and how it will have a major impact on the price of gold and
- 0:20silver. My fellow basement dwellers, we
- 0:23will be feeling much, much better.
- 0:24Thank you for being here. Thanks for being part of our
- 0:27group. Please subscribe to the channel,
- 0:30give the video a thumbs up. Super chat, super thanks are
- 0:32always never expected, but always super appreciated.
- 0:36Let's go out and see what Goldman Sachs themselves are
- 0:39saying we can expect from the Donald Trump presidency and the
- 0:44price of silver and gold. This comes from Fortune
- 0:47magazine. Donald Trump's presidency could
- 0:49light a speculative fire under gold.
- 0:52We know they're also talking about silver pushing the price
- 0:57to a fresh all time high. Guys, this article is excellent
- 1:01and packed with and very interesting, intriguing
- 1:05information that I think a lot of people are overlooking
- 1:08concerning what Donald Trump can do to the price of precious
- 1:12metals. They say escalating trade
- 1:15tensions and concerns over the sustainability of the United
- 1:19States fiscal balance sheet. That would be the US debt clock
- 1:23that could help ignite a fire under the price of gold in the
- 1:27coming year. According to a study by Goldman
- 1:30Sachs, the most prestigious financial investment firm in the
- 1:36world, in the planet, in the history of the universe.
- 1:39They said, quote the gold price consolidation following the
- 1:43orderly US election. We call that the Trump slump,
- 1:47right? Not the Trump dump.
- 1:49The Trump slump. We endured, what, 8-9 percent
- 1:52decrease in the gold price, 1215% decrease in the silver
- 1:57price. That was flushing speculative
- 2:00positions from near all time and provides an attractive entry
- 2:06point to buy gold. And we'll nudge each other with
- 2:10our elbows and say buy silver as well in yellow.
- 2:14Goldman. Goldman Sachs expects robust
- 2:17underlying demand for bullion among central banks looking to
- 2:22permanently diversify their reserves away from their current
- 2:26allocation of U.S. dollars. Guys, look, we got to realize
- 2:31one thing, central banks buying gold.
- 2:34Now the Russian government buying silver will more will
- 2:38more governments, more central banks follow suit?
- 2:40But the fact that they're buying precious metals, these are the
- 2:43most sophisticated in the know insiders in the financial world
- 2:49period, the world central banks. And that's not going to change
- 2:53since Donald Trump was elected as president.
- 2:58In Orange. Key point exchange traded funds
- 3:02will also bid up the price Goldman predicted due to
- 3:05cyclical inflows from investors seeking to hedge their
- 3:09portfolios against the forecast effect of the Federal Reserve
- 3:13lowering interest rates between two between 3 1/4 and 3.5%.
- 3:18We have not even begun to see Western investors, you and I,
- 3:22yeah, sure. But we have not, from a
- 3:25historical perspective, even really begun to see Western
- 3:28investors show up and start buying the precious metals.
- 3:32When they do, that will be the catalyst for the gold price and
- 3:37the silver price to go to areas that maybe we can only imagine.
- 3:41Then, Goldman says bullion could rise all the way to $3150.00 an
- 3:48ounce by the end of 2020. Five, 2025, my friends, starts
- 3:54in just a a short few months away.
- 3:57As a result, gold bullion ought to be trading at $3000 per oz by
- 4:03the end of next year. The Wall Street investment bank
- 4:06believes in red. But now, the bank estimates
- 4:10geopolitical risk could prompt speculators who were active up
- 4:14until very recently to return, as Trump's transition team
- 4:18continues to shock markets with its unorthodox policies and
- 4:23Cabinet appointments. We've got the situation in
- 4:26Russia right now where the US has approve the use of American
- 4:31long, long range missiles. We've got major geopolitical
- 4:35turmoil in the world right now. But on top of that, just
- 4:39internally, like this article stated, there's so much
- 4:42uncertainty surrounding what Trump's team is going to do.
- 4:47If they do a third of what they've talked about, guys, it
- 4:51will send massive shock waves of uncertainty through not just the
- 4:55US economy and markets, but also throughout the world.
- 4:59And people want one thing when there's heightened levels of
- 5:03uncertainty, they want their gold and they want their silver.
- 5:08It says in green, this could lift gold the $3150.00 an ounce
- 5:12as speculators begin to take bets on whether the US economy
- 5:16will saddle its trading partners with new punitive tariffs.
- 5:19We haven't even talked about that.
- 5:21Just as the country struggles increasingly to shoulder its
- 5:25immense fiscal deficits and 36 trillion, $1,000,000 and
- 5:31national and national debt, gold's vote of no confidence and
- 5:36paper currencies backed by government Fiat Unicorn part
- 5:40does paper money. The 1.83 trillion budget
- 5:44shortfall from this past fiscal year through September had to be
- 5:49met with additional borrowing, which can be inflationary.
- 5:53Should the Fed be forced to purchase more U.S.
- 5:57Treasury notes with fresh actually printed dollars?
- 6:01If the Fed prints money to buy the government debt, it's the
- 6:05biggest smoke and mirror funhouse financial system in the
- 6:09world. Guys that is called monetizing
- 6:12the debt. Japan tried it, Zimbabwe tried
- 6:15it. You know, any country that's
- 6:18that's printed money to buy their own debt, it is massively
- 6:22inflationary and inflation will drive the price of gold and
- 6:25silver like nothing else in the coming year and years.
- 6:29In yellow quote, rising fears of inflation and fiscal risk could
- 6:34drive speculative positioning and ETF flows higher, Goldman
- 6:38wrote, while U.S. debt sustainability concerns may push
- 6:42central banks, especially those holding large U.S.
- 6:45Treasury reserve reserves, to buy more gold.
- 6:49They don't want to buy the Treasuries.
- 6:50Foreign countries, right? Saudi Arabia, China, of course,
- 6:55Russia, all the big previous purchasers of U.S.
- 6:59Treasury notes. They can work a calculator and
- 7:01they know right that this level is unsustainable.
- 7:05While idiosyncratic aspects, which means like unique or
- 7:08peculiar. Honestly, I did Google that word
- 7:12idiosyncratic, which means unique or peculiar.
- 7:16That's your vocabulary. Lesson for the day.
- 7:18Aspects can drive gold buying, including central banks actively
- 7:22managing their allocation of gold reserves or demand in key
- 7:25jewelry markets like India. A broad sustained rise in the
- 7:30gold price during periods of uncertainty is often viewed as a
- 7:34vote of no confidence in the US dollar as a store of value, as
- 7:39well as other paper currencies backed solely by government
- 7:43Fiat. OK, just a few more things here
- 7:45guys. This article is great.
- 7:47It's on Yahoo Finance. It's from Fortune magazine in
- 7:50green. The key upside risk to inflation
- 7:52under the second Trump administration on the supply
- 7:55side are much higher tariffs. Not to mention Trump is coming
- 7:59into office with a much higher debt load, $36 trillion.
- 8:05To think that he's going to like institute austerity and cost
- 8:09cutting. Well, we'll see how that all
- 8:11works out because his history as a president and as a private
- 8:15businessman is one of really reckless spending and racking up
- 8:19massive amounts of debt. The Federal Reserve's
- 8:22independence is to set policy is under attack, right?
- 8:27The Fed's independence last paragraph here.
- 8:31Just as worrying has been Trump's insistence that the
- 8:35White House gained a direct say on monetary policy in addition
- 8:40to fiscal policy, de facto ending the Federal Reserve's
- 8:44political independence. In countries where this barrier
- 8:48has been breached, like Turkey, it can lead to spiraling
- 8:52inflation. Guys, the bottom line is this.
- 8:56We are going to have spiraling inflation.
- 8:59I could be wrong, right? But if you think I'm right and
- 9:01if you think the price of gold and silver are going to go
- 9:04higher, please support channel sponsor Pinbecks right there.

- 10:26websites in the description of this video.
- 10:29It's going to be a big, interesting run in the coming
- 10:33years. I think that the Trump, just
- 10:36like the Trump election landslide was a surprise to a
- 10:39lot of people. I think the coming four years is
- 10:42going to be a surprise to a lot of people in regards to the
- 10:46heightened level of uncertainty, the heightened level of
- 10:50inflation, and of course, what we love, a heightened level of
- 10:55price for gold and silver. We'll see how it plays out.
- 10:59Remember, I don't have a crystal ball.
- 11:00Don't make any financial decisions based on what I say,
- 11:04but that's my truth. I'll look forward to seeing you
- 11:07soon.
