- 0:56I don't know if anybody's ever watched this show, but I like to
- 0:58drink applesauce. It's like one of my favorite
- 1:01things to do. And I like my cinnamon
- 1:04applesauce. I do not use spoons.
- 1:07I drink it. As you see, right now, you
- 1:09watch. You got no teeth, so you can't
- 1:13actually eat it. So.
- 1:16I like to drink it, so for all the people out there that think
- 1:19I'm weird, good for you. That's.
- 1:21What I do on this day, we learned that Era loves to drink.
- 1:25Everybody knows. I drink applesauce.
- 1:27They think, they think I'm weird.
- 1:28Jabba thought I was crazy when I was doing it.
- 1:31I think Johnny even was mocking him for one of the times he was
- 1:34on last year. I like to drink applesauce.
- 1:36It's actually really, really good.
- 1:37It's nutritious and it makes me feel good about myself.
- 1:39But it gives me kidney stones. That's.
- 1:42What it is, it's it's not nutritious.
- 1:44There's so much sugar. In that don't televise, please
- 1:49don't surprise. You don't got diabetes.
- 1:51I don't have diabetes because I'm running about.
- 1:53I I'm doing cardio every day. 30-40 minutes, Yeah.
- 1:56Not ready. I'm burning, baby, I'm burning,
- 1:59but I like my applesauce. I don't drink all of it.
- 2:02I just can't take a couple of sips it gives.
- 2:04Me. You weren't there done already.
- 2:05I need no, I'm not. No, I'm not.
- 2:09There's a lot more left on this. I, I drink it here and there and
- 2:12I, I want people to understand something.
- 2:14I, when you're standing up all show and I'm sweating my butt
- 2:17off trying to entertain you guys, it happens.
- 2:20I need something to kind of give me energy.
- 2:22I'm not going to go out of my way to, you know, take a whiff
- 2:25or something or, you know, there could be a whiff or something,
- 2:27you know, but you know what I mean.
- 2:29I, I, I like to give myself some energy.
- 2:32I don't like coffee or coffee and I don't like smoking or any
- 2:37of that stuff. So I like to calm down and drink
- 2:39some applesauce. I'm a weird guy.
- 2:42I like my applesauce. Anyways, we call this.
- 2:46Let's parlay. It's time for let's.
- 3:00Parlay Oh, right, we got Reno Johnny here.
- 3:03Do we have anybody else comments?
- 3:05No, just Johnny tonight. He's going to be on for tonight
- 3:07and then he's got to defend his crown on King of the Hill.
- 3:09All right, so he'll be on and making me sick to my stuff,
- 3:14right, ladies and gentlemen? So if you don't know the rules
- 3:17of this, it's very simple. Johnny is one of the better
- 3:19handicappers in the country. We have them on the show every
- 3:22single week. We we usually have Wes or Chaz.
- 3:25And by the way, congratulations, Chaz made $780 this past week on
- 3:30the Kentucky Derby. So he, he gave you some winners
- 3:33guys. So you should be listening,
- 3:35listening with your ears and watching.
- 3:37There it is. I love my nutrition.
- 3:39There it is. Anyways, the I would love my own
- 3:42apple applesauce by the way, but it's got to be cinnamon.
- 3:45It can't be regular. It's got to be cinnamon.
- 3:47I need my cinnamon. Anyways, he's going to give you
- 3:503 history top picks of the weekends and then give you a
- 3:54parlay for the 4th. Listen, guys, and you might get
- 3:58yourself some money and some winners.
- 4:01All right, Reno. Yeah, thanks for having me on
- 4:05again. I'm going to start off with the
- 4:07fading of the hometown team here.
- 4:10I'm going to fade the New York Knicks and take the Sixers.
- 4:13This Sixers team has been a money maker this season, and I
- 4:16will this playoff. Not this season, the playoffs.
- 4:19And I will say one more comment that might be a little bit hard
- 4:22to contend, but they're maybe better without him beat.
- 4:25They they they feel like they play a little bit more freer.
- 4:28Like when the beat went out and the spread went three points up
- 4:32to 10, I jumped on that. They could have won that game.
- 4:36And if you look at that Celtic series, they really had, you
- 4:38know, they had him beat a couple games.
- 4:40His first game back they were they were blown out game one.
- 4:43They're going up by 30 with them beat and without them, they feel
- 4:46they play a little more free. I don't like the fact that we're
- 4:48going to lay a point and a half. I felt like maybe the Knicks
- 4:51would still come in as slight favorites for the value there,
- 4:54but I'm going to take the Sixers here to win the win the game.
- 4:57I think the Knicks will eventually come out on top in
- 4:59the series. It's going to be too much for
- 5:01them. But I do think the Sixers will
- 5:03compete and and and look, they did.
- 5:05They took off that monkey off their back by by by being the
- 5:08Celtics and now they're available to kind of continue
- 5:10this run. I don't think it's going to
- 5:12continue, but I do think they get game three and we'll kind of
- 5:15see how the rest of the series goes.
- 5:17The Spurs, after losing a game that they probably should have
- 5:22won, they got the shot they wanted.
- 5:24A lot of people said Mitch should have taken the time out.
- 5:27I thought he in for the decisions he's made.
- 5:30I thought that was actually a good decision not to take the
- 5:32time out. They got the shot they wanted a
- 5:34game one. It didn't fall if it hit if it
- 5:36if it hits, of course Mitch is a genius, right?
- 5:39So I think you know, Game 2, they came in, They did say that
- 5:43apparently Pop had a 40 minute film session with the team after
- 5:48game one in the that's the case. He had to be a genius or
- 5:51whatever he said to him. In 40 minutes, they turned
- 5:54around and demolished the Timberwolves.
- 5:57Injury concerns for Anthony Edwards.
- 5:59Not sure he'll be available. I think the Spurs will win this
- 6:03game and they're going to win by margin.
- 6:05I think they're going to blow out the Timberwolves.
- 6:08This might be and again, I don't want to overreact.
- 6:12This might be a gentleman sweep, give me the first game and then
- 6:16demolishing the rest of the way. So I think I'm going to lay the
- 6:18points there tomorrow night with the Spurs on the road to the
- 6:23ice. We got two games that I'm going
- 6:27to go back-to-back on. So it says it's gone, be a
- 6:29playoffs name and NHL playoffs. We're going to take the Sabres.
- 6:34We're going to lay the -130 -, 140 now.
- 6:39Think I laid that -130 This Buffalo Sabres team is a team
- 6:42that didn't make playoffs last year, started the season kind of
- 6:44rocky and kind of wrote some mid season momentum all the way to
- 6:48playoffs. They, they really from, from
- 6:50puck drop in the, in the Boston series have dominated their,
- 6:53that playoff series. So I really think that there's a
- 6:55better team here. I think Montreal played a down
- 6:59to Tampa Bay Lightning team that didn't have one of their better
- 7:02players due to mental issues. He he missed the last 25 games
- 7:06of the season plus the playoffs. They won every game by one.
- 7:09It was a 7 game series. It was kind of a grueling
- 7:11series. I think Buffalo is going to take
- 7:13advantage of that here. They're going to have the
- 7:15fresher legs. They're going to take advantage
- 7:17here early. Give me the -130.
- 7:19I think it's not the -1 40. We will lay that.
- 7:22We're also going to head out to Anaheim, the Las Vegas Knights.
- 7:28You don't know that. I am a Las Vegas Knights fan.
- 7:31I jumped on early, but I think this is a good opportunity to
- 7:36take the over. I think six goals, you know,
- 7:40the, the Knights have won in this playoff series in, in, in
- 7:44the previous playoff series, not by defense.
- 7:45They were scoring a lot of goals.
- 7:48Plus their defense is a little bit leaky.
- 7:49Plus their goaltender is not very strong.
- 7:52I think the Golden Knights offense is going to dictate the
- 7:54pace of this game. I think we're going to get
- 7:56plenty of goals. I'm looking at about 6 and -110
- 7:59-, 115. If you don't like the goals
- 8:02total, I do think the Knights win this series and you're only
- 8:05getting a -, 110 of value, not big travel spot.
- 8:09I think they can play on the road and win this game, so I'm
- 8:12going to take that. But my official play will be the
- 8:14over 6 and -110. Human waste.
- 8:19There you go ladies and gentlemen, that was let's parlay
- 8:22with Reno Johnny and now he will be joining us with King of the
- 8:26Hill. The king of the hill.
- 8:30This, Bobby, is the Beltline. You never, ever hit below that.
- 8:34Not that kind of King of the hill, you dumb.
- 8:38This is King of the Hill. Awesome.
- 8:43Welcome back to King of the Hill.
- 8:47Let's. Get the Speedy, go Speedy, get
- 8:50the music going for King of the Hill and we will start this
- 8:53segment. We're just going to mute you,
- 8:55Johnny Reno, for a second because we're a little kid
- 9:00friendly in the background. Thank you very much.
- 9:03Let's get into it, Johnny. You are the king because you won
- 9:06last time. I'll be your court jester
- 9:08sitting next to you. Doesn't look like we have any
- 9:10interns in the back right now, so it'll just be the three of
- 9:14you. Q Speedy and Errol for a chance
- 9:17to become the king. Here is the week of questions in
- 9:22Peasant Fight where you guys will figure out who will go on
- 9:26to the joust and then the finals to take on the king.
- 9:29I want you to tell me your best individual NBA playoff
- 9:35performances of all time. We're not in the Finals right
- 9:38now. You could could include finals
- 9:40obviously in this, but it does not have to be.
- 9:44I want to hear your top three. And again, if someone takes it,
- 9:48you got to give me another one because we're going to go down
- 9:50the line and then back and down like we always do for best
- 9:54playoff performances of all time.
- 9:55And then Johnny, since you're the king, you're going to decide
- 9:58which 2 are going to move on to the next round based on their
- 10:01not just picks, but their defense of their picks.
- 10:05Let's go with. King of the Hill.
- 10:10Speedy, I don't think you have the right music on for.
- 10:12This. Yeah, it does.
- 10:13I'm not. Yeah, it does.
- 10:14If we we can't hear it over here, you've had issue with that
- 10:17most of the night. So let's see if we can get it
- 10:19going on the YouTube stream. Let's get it going here.
- 10:22It is back to the main screen. Let's start it up with Q speedy
- 10:29and then arrow for two and then back down the line.
- 10:32Here we go. You start us off.
- 10:35I'm a go with a Carolina legend against my favorite team,
- 10:41obviously, because I understand sports the most.
- 10:43I must say in regards to the Celtic ball, Michael Jordan, 63
- 10:51points versus the Celtics and 86.
- 10:54It's one of those games if you look back at it, it was
- 10:59incredible. Definitely unheard of.
- 11:02I mean, obviously some guys did it before, but it was kind of
- 11:04unheard of. The score 63 points versus the
- 11:09team Boston Celtics at that point in time was pretty much
- 11:13unbeatable. You know, it had Larry Burrow
- 11:16who was like a three time MVP world champion, but at that
- 11:20point in time it was just incredible.
- 11:24One of the famous remarks that Larry Burrow said was God was
- 11:29disguised as Michael Jordan that night.
- 11:32So I'm going to go with the 63 points performance for Jordan
- 11:37versus Boston Celtics in 86. All right, Speedy all.
- 11:42Right, I'll go with the one that you said in the on this ASIC at
- 11:44the Clyde Fraser 36 points and 19 assists in that Game 7 for
- 11:49the New York Knicks, winning their first NBA championship
- 11:51against the Lakers team that was on paper a lot better than they
- 11:54were at that time. Obviously a lot of pressure to
- 11:55win the first championship, winning in New York against the
- 11:58Lakers team that just moved into to LA from Minneapolis where
- 12:00they won a bunch of championships at the time.
- 12:02But 19 assists? That was unheard of stat line
- 12:04unless you were Oscar Robertson pretty much back then.
- 12:07All right. Errol for two.
- 12:09All right, Michael Jordan, 1997 NBA Finals Game 5, the flu game.
- 12:14Well, it was something the pizza game, whatever they said, they
- 12:17said it was, but he was very severely ill and he scored 38
- 12:22points and obviously took the lead three to two in the series.
- 12:25It was an unbelievable. I remember that game.
- 12:27I really stuck out to me. It was against the Portland
- 12:30Trail Blazers, if you remember. So it stuck out to me.
- 12:33It was one of them and I was a kid and I watched that game.
- 12:36It was unbelievable. In 1997 I was right there.
- 12:39It was three years away from being graduating from high
- 12:43school in 2022 thousand. So that was that was the game.
- 12:48So I get another one, right? Yeah, another one.
- 12:50Magic Johnson 1980 NBA Finals Game 6 as a rookie.
- 12:55If anybody remembers Kareemel, Jewel Jabbar goes down.
- 12:59They needed a guy to take over and they had their point guard
- 13:02play and defend in multiple positions.
- 13:04Scored 42 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists to win the title.
- 13:10Those two really stuck out to me the most.
- 13:13All right, back to Speedy. I'm going to go with Tim Duncan,
- 13:1632 point and 20 rebound game in the NBA Finals.
- 13:21I believe it was the Nets, one of the times they played the
- 13:22Nets so that I think they played him twice and obviously that's
- 13:26how to type a stat line. 2020 is pretty hard to do.
- 13:28We've seen Nicole Yokich do it a couple of times, but it's very
- 13:31hard in the monitor, but definitely prevalent for
- 13:33somebody like Duncan back then, one of the best defensive
- 13:35players, the best defensive player this century that we've
- 13:38seen and that definitely showed in that game as well.
- 13:39It's a Nets team. Obviously they were a lot better
- 13:41than but 32 and 20. Very impressive.
- 13:45Q for two. I'm gonna go with everybody's
- 13:48fast favorite, the GOAT, LeBron James.
- 13:52He was a Game 6 versus the Celtics in 2012 was a legacy
- 13:56game. I think it's that was that on
- 13:58set around 45 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists of 19 of 26
- 14:04field goal percentage. So, you know, it was a legacy
- 14:06gaming. It elevated him into that, you
- 14:09know, upper echelon of where he is now.
- 14:11Later on is listed as one of the ghosts of the game, silenced all
- 14:15the criticism and one of the coldest not their performances
- 14:19that we have seen almost current to date.
- 14:22Yeah, all. Right, you get the other one.
- 14:27Me. Yeah, you go back.
- 14:29Oh, yeah, the third one. All right, let me go.
- 14:33Kobe Bryant 48 and 16 versus the Kings in 2001.
- 14:38That was that was so exciting. So yeah, 48.16 rebounds.
- 14:42It was on the road versus the Sacramento Kings.
- 14:45And yeah, Kobe just took over locked in.
- 14:49That's kind of where that Mama mentality came in and was
- 14:52stamped him, as, you know, one of the greatest scores of all
- 14:55time. So yeah, that's my guy.
- 14:58I'm going to go with that one. Speedy, your last one, all
- 15:01right. I'm going to go with an old
- 15:02school 1 here. Elgin Baylor, I believe had a 62
- 15:05point game early in his career when he was a younger player, I
- 15:09believe against the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
- 15:10I believe that was the first or second time ever the Lakers
- 15:13played the Celtics and obviously one of many going to the 80s
- 15:16after that. But Elgin Baylor, one of the
- 15:18kind of the one of the more forgotten players of when you
- 15:20look at the NBA legends, but as is one of the greatest players
- 15:23ever. And that was definitely one of
- 15:24the best stat lines in an NBA Finals, you could say.
- 15:27And finish it off, Errol. 2021 NBA Finals Game 6 Mr. Greek
- 15:34Freak recorded 50 points, 14 rebounds in five blocks to
- 15:39clinch the NBA Championship. Remember that, because Milwaukee
- 15:44fans will probably not see it for a very, very long time.
- 15:47That stuck out to me. I mean, look at the stat lines.
- 15:50I mean dominance. Absolute dominance.
- 15:53I'm going with Giannis. All right, Johnny, tell us who
- 15:58the two guys you would pick to move on are.
- 16:03Overall body of work, you know, Speedy had a really good Tim
- 16:07Duncan pick, but overall body of work like couples had three of
- 16:13the best arguably of all time, Jordan, Bron and Kobe.
- 16:18Like, Gee, I don't know how you. Can.
- 16:21Deal with that and then I do like I think arrows arrows
- 16:24squeaked past speedy with the Greek Freak 50 point closeout
- 16:28game states performance. So I'm going to go with those
- 16:32two partly and I will admit 100% a couple of the guys they're be
- 16:38all my time for speedy. You're picking you're picking
- 16:41out the hat. I'm like I I heard about Elgin
- 16:43Baylor, but I never seen the cat play.
- 16:46Hard to do that when I'm, when I'm competing with guys.
- 16:48I've seen, I saw Kobe's game, I saw George, I saw Earl.
- 16:52I was young, but I remember seeing during the games, I
- 16:54remember I saw Greek freeze game.
- 16:56So those are my 2 for this round.
- 16:58All right, Speedy, pop off the camera for a little bit and
- 17:01we'll move on to the joust where it gets real serious.
- 17:06The next question that you guys will debate for the finalist
- 17:10round for a chance to take on the King, the best NBA playoff
- 17:15teams that did not win a title. So this is the guys the best
- 17:22runner UPS of all time. I thought you'd appreciate this
- 17:27question. You got to dig a little deep.
- 17:29There's a couple of obvious ones laying there for you.
- 17:33You're the king, Johnny. Who do you want to go 1st?
- 17:36And this one will just go back and forth.
- 17:40We'll go, we'll go, Arrow. All right.
- 17:43Cyril, you're going to get the lead off in this round.
- 17:46The Joust. All right, I'm going to go the
- 17:492015, 2016 Golden State Warriors that were 7373 and 9.
- 17:56They set the record for most regular season wins and NB in
- 18:01NBA history and only lost to the NBA final seven games against
- 18:05the Cleveland Cavaliers. I remember it because it was the
- 18:08shot that Kyrie Irving hit, that 3 point shot, and then we all
- 18:13remember Green fouling LeBron James and putting them at the
- 18:16line to hit those two game running free throws that ended
- 18:20the Golden State Warriors. I remember that Kevin Love
- 18:23showed up in Game 7, actually knew how to defend.
- 18:27I remember that. That to me really stuck out the
- 18:29most. Cute.
- 18:32I'm gonna go with the 2018 Houston Rockets.
- 18:35It was James Harden's MVP year. That team was kind of
- 18:39orchestrated just to knock off well, Arrow just mentioned the
- 18:42the Golden State Warriors. They weren't able to Chris Paul
- 18:46injury, you know, he was known as having a playoff curse.
- 18:49And then I think from that moment moving forward, James
- 18:52Harden became a playoff curse player type there as well.
- 18:57And also in that game is 27 straight threes, which we have
- 19:01learned that isn't a key factor and always win the championships
- 19:05and win a big time playoff game. So I'm going to go with the 2018
- 19:08Houston Rockets. All right, back to Errol.
- 19:12All right, I'm going to go with the Sacramento Kings in 2001 and
- 19:172002. I remember that team.
- 19:20I remember Mike Bibby, if you remember that.
- 19:22I remember that team. Mr. Weber, Mr. I don't know how
- 19:25to call a timeout. Oh, I forgot there was a
- 19:27timeout. No, there wasn't a timeout for
- 19:29Michigan. The Fab 5, the Fab 4, whatever
- 19:33they call themselves, 61 and 21 dominated first style team that
- 19:37lost a highly controversy 7 game Western Conference finals
- 19:41against the Los Angeles Lakers. And Robert Horry I call him not
- 19:46Ori Horry. That game really stuck out to
- 19:50me. Cute.
- 19:52I'm going to 2012 Oklahoma City Thunder.
- 19:55They had Kevin, Katie, obviously, Russell Westbrook,
- 19:58James Harden, James Harden, Serge Ibaka.
- 20:01They went and went all the way to the Finals.
- 20:04I lost to the Heat. And listen, I mean a team that
- 20:09stack with that many mega superstars, even though they
- 20:11were still young, you can't you know, not the talent that it was
- 20:15gifted. They beat the Spurs and the
- 20:17Lakers and The Mavericks that year.
- 20:19Biggest what if team in regards to you know, a bunch of talent
- 20:23on set on one team. It was picked on paper to win
- 20:27the championship and fella and came up short and then changed
- 20:31not only that city or that that locker room but it changed the
- 20:36legacy of those 3 superstars with KD, Russell, West Book and
- 20:39James Harden. All right.
- 20:41Last ones, Errol. All right, so I want to do the
- 20:44Knicks, but I'm not going to do that because that should me not
- 20:47To me. I don't think it was really that
- 20:49impressive of a loss against a Rockets team that had a chemo
- 20:53Lajuan and Clyde the Glide. I'm going to go with the Phoenix
- 20:56Suns. Remember the 9293 Phoenix Suns?
- 20:59Remember Charles Barkley is MVP year dominating at Johnson.
- 21:05This team was a great, great team, but guess who they walked
- 21:08into? They walked into a a bobsledding
- 21:12Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls team and we all know the story.
- 21:15Michael Jordan never went to a Game 7.
- 21:17Charles Barkley had two great games.
- 21:20It didn't matter. Michael Jordan ended in in six
- 21:24the Chicago Bulls a lot of people talk about and that, by
- 21:26the way, was the Chicago's dynasty.
- 21:29That was the start of the Chicago Bulls dynasty.
- 21:34Cute. Yeah, I'm gonna stay up within
- 21:36that dynasty. I'm gonna go with the 1997 Utah
- 21:39Jazz. I mean, you got a John Stocking
- 21:41and Karl Malone. I think Karl Malone was like top
- 21:44five in Poys. John.
- 21:45John Stockton is top ten, top five in assists or number one in
- 21:49assists, I think, but so they could never get past Jordan.
- 21:53Jordan was always in a in a way, the guys had a legendary pick
- 21:58and roll style offense. It was one of the greatest duos
- 22:02that we've ever seen with John Stockman and Carl Malone and
- 22:06they never could never just get past Jordan.
- 22:08It was in the wrong time. If they would have caught him in
- 22:10the first nine years of his season, they probably would have
- 22:13got him at least one out of it. But I'm going to go with the
- 22:151997 Utah Jazz all. Right, Johnny, you got to make a
- 22:21choice. Now who are you picking the move
- 22:24on to take on the game? There was, there was 2, two
- 22:27teams that I was like really three teams that I was really
- 22:31keen on, Y'all said. Two of them, the 13, the team
- 22:34Y'all did not say was the the 2000 Suns.
- 22:38The 2000 was a 2006 Suns. I believe that probably should
- 22:43have beat the Spurs, but they had some suspensions in that
- 22:47match up, a lot of fighting. So that should have been one of
- 22:49the teams, but I look at the two things I was looking at and that
- 22:52was my my top one was Sacramento.
- 22:54If you look at that, that that series as a kid, I remember I
- 22:58was rooting hard for Sacramento, one of the better series of all
- 23:02time. And then of course, you cannot
- 23:05say the Golden State Warriors. They lost nine games, didn't win
- 23:09the finals at rubble 31. They so those are the two I was
- 23:11looking at. So that's going to be the
- 23:13winner. And then of course, you had that
- 23:15Sun matchup would have been one of my place for sure.
- 23:19All right, Speedy, come back in. That means Errol's moving on to
- 23:22the final round. But now, Q, we get some revenge.
- 23:25We get to vote as a Democratic Republic instead of this.
- 23:28Well, I already know he's not voting me, so I know that over.
- 23:34How they please. It's a free country.
- 23:35You're free to vote whoever you. Want I tell students all the
- 23:38time, in 2016, 16,000 people woke up that morning and voted
- 23:43for a dead guerrilla named Harambe to be president.
- 23:46So you could do whatever you want to vote, whatever you want
- 23:50to do. So here it is, the last round.
- 23:52This is what you guys are going to be competing for and we're
- 23:53going to be judging based on this one.
- 23:57If I can just zoom it forwards a little bit.
- 23:58Here it is, Take on the king and the question is the best star
- 24:03players who just suck in the playoffs.
- 24:06Errol, you were talking about this earlier tonight with a
- 24:09certain player and I thought this would have been a great
- 24:12topic. I'm just saying guys that are
- 24:14great but terrible in the playoffs, or at least
- 24:18historically have been big choke artists in the playoffs.
- 24:22Give me your top three, Johnny. Since you're the king, you can
- 24:26decide if you want to go first or second.
- 24:30I think I'm going to go 2nd and this one, I think that did me
- 24:36last. That almost did me last time.
- 24:37I'm going to go second. All right, Errol.
- 24:40All right, I'm going to go number one who everybody knows,
- 24:44Mr. James Harden. This man sucks in the playoffs
- 24:49ever. He's the most disappointing
- 24:51player. This guy has won an MVP.
- 24:53This guy has won a six man. This guy has been a dominant
- 24:57regular season player and then when he go to the playoffs, game
- 25:00sevens mental breakdowns. The guy can't find.
- 25:03It doesn't matter if Chris Paul on a team, Russell Westbrook's
- 25:05on a team, Kevin Durant's on a team with Kyrie Irving.
- 25:08This guy does not show up in the big game.
- 25:11James Harden. It's my #1.
- 25:13Johnny. Players that don't, for me, it's
- 25:18going to be Carmelo Anthony, one of the better players of all
- 25:23time scoring wise. Seems to never make the plays,
- 25:27never makes turns the ball over a bunch, doesn't make the shots.
- 25:31I think he's been a disappointment and never won a
- 25:33title, never really got close. I think at Denver he was the
- 25:37closest he ever had got and then he ran his coach out of town
- 25:41because it didn't go his way. So I think for as brave a player
- 25:44as he was, a great college player as he was, he won the
- 25:46title first year at Syracuse, right?
- 25:49NBA never was able to find it. I do think that as as big of a
- 25:53name as he was, great offense just never never really came to
- 25:58fruition. All right, back to Errol.
- 26:01Joellen beat I, he pops up right away.
- 26:06If you look at what his regular season is scoring usually 2030
- 26:10points. I'm looking at his efficiency.
- 26:12Think about his efficiency dropping below 50% in the
- 26:15playoffs and 45% shooting in every single series.
- 26:19He has been horrible in the playoffs, doesn't show up, and
- 26:22he's the only big man that's won an MVP that's never taken his
- 26:27team to a fight. Eastern or Western Conference
- 26:30finals. The guy is an absolute debacle.
- 26:34That's so. That's a good one right there.
- 26:36Back to Johnny. Yeah, it is a good one.
- 26:38But I thought players actually play to be eligible for some
- 26:42work, you know, whatever play. But I'm going to go with Patrick
- 26:46Ewing. And I know, I know I'm not, I'm
- 26:50not nice to the voters here. But if you look at what Patrick
- 26:54Ewing did, he, he took him, you know, had a chance, a couple
- 26:57chances in the 90s and every single time it became you just
- 27:03aren't good. Enough.
- 27:06He got there. He just couldn't do end up not
- 27:10part of that. He runs to the Spurs, you know,
- 27:12runs into the Rockets. He just wasn't good enough.
- 27:17I do think that his performances lacked in the Finals when they
- 27:20matter the most. So I'm going to take that you're
- 27:22Ewing, and I know it's probably not great considering I'm got a
- 27:26bunch of big fans. All right, so I could go with
- 27:29two people, but this guy really sticks out to me like a sore
- 27:33thumb. Never won a championship.
- 27:34He's gone to a final with a great OK C team, and he's done
- 27:39it and failed to do it. Russell Westbrook criticized
- 27:43this guy, won an MVP, another one like James Harden, those
- 27:46OKC, OKC, Thunder guys that just don't show up in the playoffs.
- 27:50Every single team he's ever played for, he played with James
- 27:53Harden. He's gone on and left OKC.
- 27:55He's played with Paul George, who's another absolute debacle.
- 27:59He's an A complete, complete debacle in the playoffs and
- 28:02never won a championship. It doesn't matter where he goes.
- 28:05He went to the Nuggets, couldn't win with them.
- 28:07Everywhere he goes, he's a jinx. Everywhere he goes, it's Russell
- 28:11Westbrook. He doesn't show up in the
- 28:13playoffs. I got one that's probably not
- 28:17going to be very popular and it's actually part of that
- 28:20Oklahoma City team. I'm going to go Kevin Durant.
- 28:24And the reason I say that is because the one final he has,
- 28:28the only final he has, he only went there because he couldn't
- 28:32beat the Warriors. The Warriors didn't need Kevin
- 28:36Durant. The Warriors did not need Kevin
- 28:38Durant. They were going to win with or
- 28:40without Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant went there because
- 28:43he could not win without Steph Curry and company.
- 28:47They didn't need him. He could have, they could have
- 28:49hired him to mop the floors and they probably still would have
- 28:51been there. If you look at every other
- 28:53opportunity Kevin Durant has had outside of the Warriors, every
- 28:57other opportunity, he never was able to win a title and he had
- 29:02opportunities. He did have opportunities.
- 29:04We can blame Russell Westbrook, but I think we can also blame
- 29:06Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant in the what do you
- 29:09do with Houston this year? No, he didn't play with Houston
- 29:12this year. They brought him in.
- 29:14Everywhere he's gone. He except OAK, except for that
- 29:16one year in Golden State when they won a title.
- 29:19He does not ever perform in the playoffs.
- 29:23He has failed to win a title without Steph Curry and without
- 29:27Steph Curry, he still does not have a title today.
- 29:30And that will be his only title he ever has.
- 29:32His thanks to Steph Curry. All right, let's do the voting.
- 29:37I'll start it off. I'm going to go with Errol on
- 29:40that one. That Duran argument.
- 29:44I award you no points and May God have mercy on your soul.
- 29:48The guy won Finals MVP. What are you talking about?
- 29:50Twice, twice, twice. He didn't just win one, they won
- 29:54two together with him. They were the most ridiculous
- 29:57team to ever watch. I look, you're right that I
- 30:00don't. I just don't think that fits the
- 30:01parameter of the question enough.
- 30:03I don't like the the mellow ones.
- 30:05I understand it, I just don't think he got to the playoffs
- 30:08enough really to like even see how good Mellow could have been.
- 30:13I do think he was a choke artist and Ewing.
- 30:15I grew up watching him deciding not to do a little finger roll
- 30:19instead of just putting his hand down and dunking it against the
- 30:22Pacers in 95 and they would have been in the finals 2 straight
- 30:25years instead of only one. That was the biggest debacle of
- 30:29Ewing's career. So I agree with you on that one.
- 30:31But Errol Harden? Hard to argue.
- 30:33Embiid, hard to argue. Westbrook, hard to argue.
- 30:37A couple of guys that I thought you'd bring up, Karl Malone, I
- 30:40wanted. To.
- 30:40I wanted to, but I'm not. Going to do that.
- 30:43Chamberlain, famously, was nowhere near the player he was
- 30:46in the regular season. In the playoffs, they won a
- 30:48championship. Julius Randle as Knicks fans
- 30:51know all about Julius Randall in the playoffs compared to Julius
- 30:55Randall. Brickley.
- 30:57Regular season Qi saw you having like an appendicite like and
- 31:02beat over there listening to John's Durant take.
- 31:05Would you like to go next? No, I'm less speedy because I'm
- 31:07probably a little long and speedy.
- 31:09Like to go ahead and get it out the way.
- 31:10So I usually when you you want to take the title of King of the
- 31:14hill, usually want to go 1st. And this was one of the
- 31:16instances I think you did because I think James Harden is
- 31:17the obvious one because he only went to a Finals as a 6th man
- 31:21with the OKC Thunder on a loaded team.
- 31:23I think that was the more of the parameters of Errol was taking a
- 31:26lot of players that were on those loaded teams.
- 31:27Westbrook, another one that was on a lot of loaded teams and
- 31:30just fell apart in the playoffs. Definitely the Knicks were
- 31:32loaded with Ewing at the time. And yeah, probably should have
- 31:34beaten the Rockets butt loaded. Who do they have?
- 31:37Charles Smith, Charles Oakley. Anthony.
- 31:39Mason. The rock compared to the
- 31:40Rockets? No, the Rockets have the two
- 31:42best superstars on the team. They had Glide.
- 31:44The glide and they had and Elijah Wan.
- 31:47Those are two Hall of Famers. The only Hall of Fame in the
- 31:50Knicks had was. Patrick Ewing Smith.
- 31:52Who's Ewing? Patrick Ewing, I disagree with
- 31:55you QS to bring up the UNC guy, but yeah, I would think I am
- 31:58sorry, John, I'm going to take Carol here as well.
- 32:02Yeah, it it saddens me and it really breaks my heart the pick
- 32:05that I have to pick. But yeah, John, I think you took
- 32:08a lot of personal shots at the Knicks.
- 32:10I didn't really see where you actually dove in into your
- 32:14encyclopedia brain of knowledge in the game and whatnot.
- 32:18So I thought it was a little personal.
- 32:19Then you said something about KD said he only won one title,
- 32:23which he won two. He was two times Finals MVP
- 32:26would have been three, but he got, you know, him and Clacy
- 32:29Thompson toward a where he tore his Achilles and then Klay Tyson
- 32:32towards ACL. So I just thought that wasn't a
- 32:34fair argument at all. And in regards to helping your
- 32:37case, I threw a alley hoop out there for Earl, which was James
- 32:42Harden and I mentioned earlier and he took the hint.
- 32:45And so if we pay attention to details and I think that, you
- 32:48know, that was a part of his strategy of winning this round.
- 32:51So I'm a part I'm I'm proud of him for taking on the hint.
- 32:55And yeah, I'm about to vote Earl as well in the unanimous
- 32:59decision this seat that, you know, you had a bad shoot
- 33:02tonight, tonight, you know, and I think that you have way more
- 33:07to offer than what you showed up tonight.
- 33:08So this playoff performance is probably the biggest let down
- 33:13that we've seen from you as well in the last last couple of
- 33:17years. You've been killing.
- 33:21You're right off nights all right.
- 33:23Via a vote of three to nothing, Errol is the king once again.
- 33:29The King of what the. King of the Hill.
- 33:33Thanks for playing. Well, thank you.
- 33:35Thank you very much. Do you want?
- 33:38Do you want me to thank everybody?
- 33:40Yes, because you've got a unanimous.
- 33:42Decision. You're the king.
- 33:43You can, you know, talk. You know, it's you're, you got
- 33:45the mic. I'm not thanking anybody, Reno.
- 33:48I, I, I got to give you some credit.
- 33:50You always throw curveballs. You always do.
- 33:53You don't care if it's this or that.
- 33:56You, you have your own opinion. And I, I love that about you.
- 33:58It doesn't matter. I did think you were out of
- 34:00control when you said Carmelo Anthony.
- 34:03I I mean that that's just out of control.
- 34:05It became personal. It was at.
- 34:07Least and then and then it. Wasn't look, it wasn't personal,
- 34:11but I look at I look at like I will I, I stand on this hill to
- 34:15the day I Kevin Durant should have never left OKC like
- 34:18100,000%. I agree with 1000%.
- 34:20So my thing is for me, if you're going to be great, if you're
- 34:24going to be the best, if you're going to be the the you're going
- 34:27to talk to talk. Why do you need to go join?
- 34:29Steph Curry had already won a title.
- 34:32He would have never won. He had already won a title.
- 34:36They asked him. To come.
- 34:37They were up 31. And they asked him that.
- 34:40OK City, OK See was because he could not win.
- 34:44He could not do it without two other superstars.
- 34:47OK, James Harden got traded right and then he was never
- 34:50going to win. The organization was poorly ran.
- 34:53He no first round draft picks into now where they building a
- 34:55whole nother team in another infrastructure.
- 34:57But he was never going to win in OKC.
- 34:59He would have been he would have been he would have been the
- 35:04James hardest. He would have been all of that
- 35:06never got a title. All it was a superstar had an
- 35:09MVP, but you don't want to be in that kind.
- 35:12Of that's weird though because I was told that they had the best
- 35:14leadership ever on that team without Kendrick Perkins, how he
- 35:17led that franchise. You just you just took advice
- 35:22from probably the worst person in professional basketball
- 35:25analysts and knows nothing when it comes to basketball.
- 35:29You're in. You're giving compliments to
- 35:31perks. That guy doesn't even know his
- 35:33ABC's. I please Kendrick Perkins legend
- 35:38Kendrick Perkins. Kill legend Kendrick Perkins.
- 35:42Oh, he's a legend all right. A legend.
- 35:43Of he's a ibuprofen when you got a perk.
- 35:47You're right, I could use a perk right now as we speak.
- 35:50Oh my God. Holy crap.
- 35:53But anyways, I I thought it was crazy with the Kevin Durant
- 35:56thing too, but hey, listen. I stand on that hill.
- 35:58I stand. On that, you could be bad at the
- 36:00decision, but you can't knock the legacy the.
- 36:03Thing that what legacy? Let me ask you a question.
- 36:05Let me ask you a question cuz we got to.
- 36:07Move out. Look.
- 36:07And I'm and I'm look what what did he do before Steph?
- 36:10I got, I got. What has he done?
- 36:12I got a question. Hold on.
- 36:13I got a question for you who went to the Hamptons and begged
- 36:17Kevin Durant to come there. It was Steph Curry and Draymond,
- 36:22but they baked. Him, but I, they baked him on
- 36:25that hill that they didn't at the end of the day they got
- 36:28tested right they were down 31 they came back and.
- 36:31Hold on. And beat Oklahoma City.
- 36:33No, they got tested. They didn't leave.
- 36:35Hold on. They didn't.
- 36:36Hold on, hold on, hold on. I just I got a.
- 36:38Curveball for you too. I have a curveball for you.
- 36:41Why did they bake Kevin Durant? Because thank you.
- 36:43Because they before the year before they lost against LeBron.
- 36:48James and it would have kept losing to him.
- 36:51That's why they begged him to come there.
- 36:54Like there's no curveball here. They would not have lost again
- 36:58to LeBron James. It's the bad performance.
- 37:05Come on, Jr. Smith missing.
- 37:07Did you? Really.
- 37:09Break What incident? Jr.
- 37:12Smith They were going to win that series.
- 37:14That was game one. We really just go.
- 37:17They were never going to win. They were never going to win
- 37:19that series. But I don't think LeBron James
- 37:22would have ever. I don't think they needed Kevin
- 37:23Durant still. I still think they could have.
- 37:25They wanted Kevin Durant to not go anywhere else, but they
- 37:28didn't need him to win. No, Win a championship, not win
- 37:33games completely. Disagree.
- 37:34With they needed him. That was LeBron.
- 37:36He asked about 7:00 if if he didn't get KD.
- 37:39And let me ask you a question. And here's another curveball.
- 37:42Who won back-to-back MVPS when they did win Kevin Durant?
- 37:46Yeah, but again, that's not that's Steph Curry delegating
- 37:49the ball like that ain't. Give it to him in the the second
- 37:53championship, he literally forced him the whole fourth
- 37:57quarter to try to get the fighters MVP because he didn't
- 37:59want the narrative that Curry never got the MVP so he
- 38:03literally forced him the ball if you go watch the game.
- 38:06And by the way, if you look at before Kevin Durant came there
- 38:09and even when Kevin Durant was there, Steph Curry statistics in
- 38:13the playoffs are not what you call greatness.
- 38:16It didn't transition until Kevin Durant left after that, that
- 38:19time where he put up those numbers against the Celtics and
- 38:22won a championship and won his first MVP in the playoffs.
- 38:25I'm just saying that's what's. Out again that last Steph Curry
- 38:30has has two titles without Kevin Durant.
- 38:32Kevin Durant was never like a needed four Steph Curry win
- 38:36titles. Kevin Durant leads the.
- 38:38Injuries that it took to get there.
- 38:41So wait Johnny, you saying Steph Curry is better than Kevin
- 38:44Durant? No, I didn't say that.
- 38:48I said Steph Curry is a better. Steph Curry is better sooner.
- 38:50I give that. But I'm not saying better.
- 38:51No, but I'm saying. I'm saying, I'm saying.
- 38:54Kevin Durant, I mean, never went.
- 38:55Title without Steph Curry? Never.
- 38:57Yeah, but Steph Curry didn't even Durant.
- 38:59So on that logic, doesn't that make Steph Curry better?
- 39:02I mean, no, you got players that.
- 39:04So then why do you care if you went there or not?
- 39:07That's my other thing. Like why did you go?
- 39:09Then Christian Brown got the All I'm saying is because if he
- 39:13could go anywhere else, but why did he go there?
- 39:15It was. The best organized basketball
- 39:18team that he could play without having to worry about me and the
- 39:21leader and directing everybody. That was the best organization
- 39:24he could have went to. It was the best.
- 39:26It was set up for him to just be able to play basketball like he
- 39:33always wanted to do and not be the best scorer, be the best
- 39:53rebounder. You don't want to do that.
- 39:57That's why, that's why Oklahoma City title, That's why Oklahoma
- 40:01Cities title is that much more sweet, because they did it.
- 40:05They built A-Team. They built a team.
- 40:06They. Didn't and Durants legacy is
- 40:09that he's, you know, a mercenary.
- 40:11He's a soldier of fortune. He's fired gun.
- 40:14Well, they didn't. Just so you know, they didn't
- 40:16build a team. The Clippers gave their team.
- 40:19They did to OKC. So thank you to the Clippers.
- 40:22How many? But how many picks those hey,
- 40:24we've seen? Dude.
- 40:25They treated. SGA and Williams, they traded
- 40:29them both in that. Trade they traded them SGA who
- 40:32was already picked and Williams who was drafted with that next
- 40:35they. Traded them both and, and, and
- 40:37honestly, that changed everything for OKC and it made
- 40:40OKC's and the Thunder one of the smartest organizations right now
- 40:44in professional basketball. But we got a lot of, we got a
- 40:46lot more left. We love you and.
- 40:48He's still going to lose to the Spurs, but.
- 40:51We'll see about that. We'll.
- 40:52Lose the Spurs. I think we can get you back on
- 40:55in a couple of weeks to talk about that one.
- 40:57Yeah, it's going to happen. Athletes.
- 40:59Thanks, Johnny. Johnny Reno, John Boy, very
- 41:04interesting as always. Interesting enough that I wanted
- 41:08to throw up. So just.
- 41:10Anyways, Speaking of throwing up, I'm sure Ranger fans were
- 41:13ready to throw up after this. The Toronto Maple Leafs won the
- 41:182026 NHL Draft, the lottery for the third time in team history
- 41:25and the first time since drafting Austin Matthews in
- 41:282016. The Leafs came in with the 5th
- 41:32best odds at 8.5% and beat out the Rangers and Canucks in the
- 41:38final draw despite only having one winning combination.
- 41:44The Sharks also made a big leap to get the second overall pick,
- 41:48coming in with the 9th best odds at just 5.5 point 2%.
- 41:56They have now had a number one OR and a number two overall pick
- 42:02in three years in a row. The Canucks will pick at #3
- 42:07overall, despite having 14 less points than the next worst team
- 42:12in the NHL, which was the Blackhawks.
- 42:14The Rangers, who came into the draft with the third best odds
- 42:19to get the number one pick, will select 5th overall.
- 42:24It is unlikely the defense defenseman, Chase Reed, the
- 42:29number one ranked defenseman according to many analysts, will
- 42:32be there at #5 Keaton Vanderhoff and Carson Carroll's are the two
- 42:39options. If they go defense, Nikita Plop
- 42:43off as the winger and Caleb Malhotra at center.
- 42:48The Devils and the Islanders didn't move from their original
- 42:52spots. The Devils will be drafting at
- 42:54#12 and the Islanders at #13. Well, ladies and gentlemen, by
- 43:00the way, Keaton Van, if Keaton Vanderhoff is there for the
- 43:04Rangers, the Rangers win the draft.
- 43:06Just so you know, for Ranger fans, if you're going to be
- 43:08crying about this, they might be very, very lucky because I
- 43:14believe I watch a lot of college hockey.
- 43:16I've been following these guys all season long.
- 43:20And I believe and a lot of analysts believe that Keaton
- 43:23Vanderhoff is the best defenseman in this class.
- 43:26He's 6 foot 4. This guy's got tremendous
- 43:30ability, great skating ability. He's a Canadian player, great
- 43:33shot, unbelievable defensive player.
- 43:36Mean he's going to hit you, he's going to hurt you, You and
- 43:41Speedy. We were talking about this, who
- 43:42did the Islanders draft at #16 last year, that was Keegan
- 43:46Aitchison. OK, now Aitchison right now is
- 43:50dominating the OHL. He's moving on in the, in the
- 43:53OHL, he was unbelievable. He led OHL defenseman and, and
- 43:57practically almost all OHL offensive players at his
- 44:01defenseman. Keaton Vanderhoff is like
- 44:05Aitchison. He's bigger, he's a little bit
- 44:07stronger. Hits like Acheson might not be
- 44:11as good of goal scorer, but he's going to develop.
- 44:14That's who I think I can compare him to right now.
- 44:17He is not Schaefer. If Schaefer was in this draft,
- 44:20he would have gone #1 no question.
- 44:22He would have been the number one pick in this year's class.
- 44:25But McKenna, I know all Ranger fans wanted this guy.
- 44:28McKenna. McKenna looks good and we know
- 44:30he's going to the Maple Leafs and it's not going to keep
- 44:33Austin Matthews there. Austin Matthews don't want to be
- 44:35there. What it tells me right now is it
- 44:37gives them a reason to trade Austin Matthews in the offseason
- 44:41because they're adding a young offensive player and most of his
- 44:44teammates in Austin Matthews are not very happy with him on the
- 44:48season that he had and really practically giving up on the
- 44:51season with the players. There was a lot of stuff going
- 44:53in the locker room that was coming out at the end of the
- 44:55season. I think Austin Matthews is as
- 44:57good as gone. How does this help the Rangers?
- 45:00Well, for Ranger fans, you should put a smile on your face
- 45:03if you get Keaton Vanderhoff and maybe move to trade for Austin
- 45:09Matthews in this draft or trade the number 5 pick and get Austin
- 45:14Matthews. They win.
- 45:16They win the draft because you're getting an elite player
- 45:20at 28 years old who is going to give you 50 goals.
- 45:23He's to me, one of the best American born players we've seen
- 45:27in a very long time since Mike McDonald.
- 45:29I think he's the best. I think he's going to go down as
- 45:31the best American born player to ever play the game when he is
- 45:34done. If the Rangers want to bring in
- 45:36a player that can change their team right away, you go after
- 45:41Austin Matthews. So trade that 5th pick and get
- 45:45Austin Matthews and then you, you know, that's all you have to
- 45:48give up for Austin Matthews, I would think, because you still
- 45:50have to take his contract on and you might have to move something
- 45:53else. You probably have to reshuffle
- 45:54salaries. You have to take somebody else
- 45:56that has no tray clause, right? That's and that's what's
- 45:58probably going to happen and the Rangers will figure that out.
- 46:00I don't trust Chris Drury, but that could happen.
- 46:02It would make a lot of sense. Everybody's sitting here on
- 46:05Chase Reed. I watch Chase Reed.
- 46:07He's a good player. Small.
- 46:09They're trying to compare him to Schaefer.
- 46:10He is not Matthew Schauer. He's not.
- 46:13I've watched enough of him. And I told this to the Beef and
- 46:17Beef was crying. Oh, this is rig.
- 46:19This is rig. This is rig.
- 46:21How is it rigged when they're doing the lottery?
- 46:22This isn't the NBA. This isn't any of the MLB.
- 46:26They're actually showing you the balls.
- 46:28They're showing you what happened, what is happening.
- 46:31So I think what I've seen, what Gary Bettman has done with the
- 46:34NHL has been amazing. You guys should be happy about
- 46:38what the NHL is doing right now. They're changing the game.
- 46:41So you sit here and you're complaining about, oh, my poor
- 46:44Rangers. The Sharks are set up really,
- 46:49really good. They're getting the number two
- 46:51pick. They got Misa last year.
- 46:53They got one of the most electrifying offensive players
- 46:55right now in the NHL. We saw him in the we saw him in
- 46:58the the Olympics. We know what he is.
- 47:01And now they're they're going to get they're going to get read.
- 47:04I'm telling you right now, everybody keeps talking about
- 47:07that. This is a loaded draft for
- 47:08defenseman. Vanderhoff is Vanderhoff is the
- 47:13best defenseman in his class. I'm telling you right now, a lot
- 47:16of people believe he's the best player in this class, the best
- 47:20player in this class. So you sit here and as a as an
- 47:23Islander fan, I'm liking at #13 because there's a lot of players
- 47:27that are going to fall to them at #13 some of these guys are
- 47:31going to fall out because a lot of these teams that are right
- 47:34now on this list, and I'm looking at the list right now,
- 47:36I'm going to bring it up. So here it is.
- 47:39The Rangers are getting five. So the Maple Leafs, we know
- 47:42they're going to go with McKenna.
- 47:44The Sharks are not getting Stenberg.
- 47:45They don't need him. They're going to drop him.
- 47:47Chase Reeb will go there. The Canucks will get Stenberg
- 47:51if. And I like Caleb Maholstra.
- 47:54I've watched him a little bit. I've seen a little bit of him.
- 47:56Don't know much about him. Out of all the guys that he's
- 47:58here, he's the fastest center. But he's also undersized too.
- 48:01So he's going to probably need a couple.
- 48:03I need a year or two to develop. Probably, yeah.
- 48:06And Chicago's stupid enough to do this because if I'm Chicago,
- 48:09I'm drafting Keaton Vanderhoff. That's I'm doing that.
- 48:12I'm, I'm letting if the Rangers, if Keaton Vanderhoff falls to
- 48:16the Rangers, the Rangers won the draft.
- 48:18I'm telling you right now, Ranger fans, don't be upset.
- 48:21You should be very, very happy with Keaton Vanderhoff because I
- 48:24think he's, I think he's the best player in this class.
- 48:28I I think he's that good. I've watched him play for North
- 48:30Dakota this year. He is fun to watch.
- 48:33He's mean. And that's what the Rangers
- 48:35need. They gave away a mean player.
- 48:36They let him to go to Carolina. Made no sense what they did, but
- 48:40this guy's better than him. This guy is.
- 48:42This guy is going to be a leader.
- 48:44He's your future captain. He's a leader.
- 48:46He was the leader for North Dakota.
- 48:48I, I, I love him now, but look at the teams that are drafting
- 48:51after them. I don't trust Calgary.
- 48:53I don't trust Seattle. Florida's a great organization.
- 48:57They'll draft the right guy. They're a great organization.
- 49:00They find and Florida bag of riches.
- 49:02They had a one bad season and they they got the number 9 pick
- 49:06and and they're going to be guys that falling for him.
- 49:08And I don't trust Nashville. I don't trust them at #10 So
- 49:13Hemming could fall to the Islanders, Lawrence could fall
- 49:16to the Islanders. Smith's can fall to the
- 49:19Islanders, who I think is the third best defenseman in this
- 49:22class. Not Carols, Albert Smith.
- 49:26Smiths, who I watched all season long too, watching him play
- 49:30hockey, junior hockey. This kids a special player too.
- 49:33Yeah, Smiths is one I've seen a lot of hype on recently.
- 49:36He wasn't getting as much I think before the the HL season,
- 49:39OHL season. I believe he's from Germany, I
- 49:42believe, or Switzerland, one of those countries.
- 49:44And I think he got later on hype.
- 49:45But yeah, I've seen him above, above Carols as well and even
- 49:50some drafts even above Verhof as well.
- 49:52Now it's interesting because Verhof is is not because he's a
- 49:55bigger guy. Like he's not the skater that
- 49:57obviously some of these other ones are yet.
- 49:59But that doesn't mean he couldn't develop into that with
- 50:02not the raw speed, but just the tactical skating too, because
- 50:04we've seen it with I bring up MO Sider as an example of that with
- 50:07Detroit. He was expected to fall in his
- 50:09draft because he was big and bulkier, but not as good of a
- 50:12skater. But he's still a really good
- 50:13skater and he's become a really well-rounded good defenseman for
- 50:16the Red Wings. And that's, I think the kind of
- 50:18player that Verhof I think definitely could be as well.
- 50:20And well read, I think it's the consensus probably #1 he's still
- 50:24a little on the other undersized size compared to that too.
- 50:27Now. He's the best skater.
- 50:27He's the best. He's the best tactical one.
- 50:29Yeah, I think Verhof could still develop into that.
- 50:32So yeah, there's definitely a world where he could be better.
- 50:35I think they're both kind of 1A1B right now.
- 50:37They're both could be very good players.
- 50:38He's 1A and Reed's 1B. And that's why I mentioned on
- 50:43the phone a couple days ago, Chicago is the wild card because
- 50:46they tend to draft very weird when they've had, obviously he's
- 50:48not the number one pick with Bedard, but every other time
- 50:51when they've gotten lucky and gotten 2 and 3 picks and teams
- 50:54like that, they have a lot of players that they draft
- 50:56unconventionally. This guy is going to be called
- 50:58up. He's not going to the AHL, He's
- 51:01not going to OHL. This guy's going to be called up
- 51:04right away. I'm telling you, he's 6 foot
- 51:06four, 212 lbs. He's a beast.
- 51:08He can skate. He's a good skater for a guy his
- 51:11size. He's mean.
- 51:13He is a mean player. He played for Team Canada, He
- 51:16was one of the leaders for Team Canada.
- 51:18I'm telling you right now, Ranger fans, don't be so sad.
- 51:21Don't be so sad because I said no matter where the Rangers
- 51:24draft from 1:00 to 3:00, if they fall in those, I'm drafting
- 51:28Keaton. Well, how do you pronounce
- 51:30Verhof? Verhof.
- 51:31That's the guy. That's the guy I'm drafting.
- 51:34So Ranger fans, you're all upset.
- 51:37Cry me a river. You're getting the guy that you
- 51:40want you. I'm telling you, he's not
- 51:42Matthew Schaefer. He's not.
- 51:44And I'm not saying that he is. He's not that.
- 51:47He's once in a generational type of player.
- 51:49I don't think there's anybody in this draft like him.
- 51:51There's not. I'm not saying this because I'm
- 51:52an Islander fan. I'm telling you for facts.
- 51:55What Matthew Schaefer did this year, we're not going to see
- 51:57another defenseman do for a very, very long time.
- 52:01It was Brian Leach was the last guy to do that, OK.
- 52:05And not even Cole Mccarr did what he did.
- 52:07No, not that early in his career, like year three-year 4,
- 52:09he started to develop and what Schaefer did this year.
- 52:11So just think what Schaefer is going to do next year.
- 52:14So I'm not trying to attack the Ranger fans.
- 52:18Think about this for all you Ranger fans that are probably
- 52:20not listening, listening to this, or they're like, I don't
- 52:23want to hear this. Listen to me.
- 52:26I am a hockey fan. I know hockey.
- 52:28I've watched hockey. I've played hockey at a high
- 52:30level. This guy's the real deal.
- 52:32I'm telling you right now, he's going to be a star in this
- 52:34league. He's going to be a great player.
- 52:37He's going to make All Star games and he's going to be your
- 52:39future. And.
- 52:40And the Rangers haven't drafted a guy this good at his position
- 52:43since Brian Leach. That's how good he is.
- 52:45So you should be very, very happy to get Keaton Verhoff.
- 52:50Yeah. Now the other options, if he's
- 52:51gone, if Chicago actually does the right thing that you would
- 52:53think that's yeah, that's where you get into a wild card.
- 52:56I like my Ultra, too. I just don't know.
- 52:59The Rangers, we have had this problems with developing,
- 53:01helping Young's homegrown Centers for the longest time.
- 53:04They obviously lucked into the bandage because Ottawa.
- 53:06Trade him for practically how much you want to bet that if the
- 53:09Hultra's there, Mahultra's there and Verhof's there, they draft
- 53:13Mahultra? And that's something Chris Jury
- 53:15would do because he's an idiot. He's an idiot, he's a Jackass.
- 53:19So I wouldn't trust him to do the right to make the right
- 53:22thing. I do either.
- 53:24But if Verhof is there, you're drafting Verhof.
- 53:28I'm telling you guys, I I know hockey, I'm telling you I'm not
- 53:32blinded to tell you guys this. He is the real deal.
- 53:35He is the real deal. What scares me the most of all
- 53:37based on the Rangers loving to draft a lot of these wingers
- 53:39too, is taking clap off where they have an overload of the
- 53:42wingers that they don't need. And that's the position they had
- 53:44a multitude of. And I'm going to tell you this
- 53:45right now. If he falls out of the top five,
- 53:48Verhof could fall all the way to 10 or maybe even further than
- 53:51that. Because there are teams when
- 53:54you're looking at when you're looking at analytics and these
- 53:56teams are looking at what? We don't want a big guy.
- 53:58We don't. I mean, could you imagine him
- 53:59fall all the way to 12 or 13 to the the Devils or the Islanders?
- 54:03And we've seen this before. It's happened.
- 54:06Yeah. I'm going to say with the Devils
- 54:07now bringing in AGM that comes from Florida, I think Verhoff
- 54:10wouldn't slide past the Devils. Not a chance in hell, because I
- 54:13they build on more of the physical guys and Verhoff can
- 54:16obviously skate very well. Oh, he's fucking fantastic.
- 54:19I'm sorry to curse, but he's fantastic.
- 54:21Dude, I watch so many clips to this kid and I told the beef.
- 54:25What are you complaining about? Everybody's saying that Keaton's
- 54:27going to be there, so if he's going to be there, you jump.
- 54:31Dude, I follow 3 or 4 really big NHL prospect guys in in in all
- 54:38of hockey and every one of them, three out of the I'm not every
- 54:42one of them, three out of the five said Keaton Verhoff is the
- 54:45best defenseman in this class. And two out of the five of them
- 54:49says he's the best player in this class.
- 54:51So what does that tell you? Ranger fans?
- 54:53Snag them up. Stop crying that you lost the
- 54:56draft and hope Chris Jury makes the right decision.
- 54:59Well, yeah, that's the other thing, too.
- 55:00Like the Rangers fans, Yeah, they can complain that they fell
- 55:02at odds, but there's other teams that have fallen at odds that
- 55:04didn't get those kinds of benefits too.
- 55:05Look at how many times in Coyotes before they were Utah
- 55:08could have gotten the number one pick and they didn't get it.
- 55:10Vancouver's are screwed this year recently, and they've been
- 55:13screwed in other years as well. I don't know.
- 55:14They've had the number one pick since one of the city guys.
- 55:16You should be happy that the Maple Leafs are getting the
- 55:18first pick. Oh, yeah, because they're going
- 55:20to drop us again. They're going to get Jeff
- 55:22McKenna and to me McKenna is is not as good as everybody thinks
- 55:26he is. I remember Mikey C two years ago
- 55:28telling me he's going to be a McDavid type of player.
- 55:31And I'm going to tell you this right now, I don't care what
- 55:34anybody says, he's not McDavid. He is not Connor McDavid.
- 55:37There is nobody that we're going to see in the next three or four
- 55:40years that's anywhere close to Connor McDavid.
- 55:43So there is a kid that they're talking about.
- 55:45He's 13 years old. He's right now in Canada.
- 55:48I think he scored 70 something goals playing in the 16 or
- 55:52older. They're saying that that kid is
- 55:54like the next Sid the kid or McDavid.
- 55:56But that's like 3-4 years away, right?
- 55:58You know, so, but this kid as much as McKenna is and what
- 56:02we've seen in McKenna, I don't think he's as good as everybody
- 56:05thinks he is. As a matter of fact, I think
- 56:06Steinberg is Stenberg is better than he is at his position and
- 56:10especially in the World Championships and what we saw,
- 56:13he outplayed McKenna for Team Canada.
- 56:15I was going to say too, if Vancouver hypothetically got the
- 56:18number one pick, I think they actually might have taken
- 56:20Stenberg number one too, because they love to go a lot of
- 56:22European players. He's definitely going to
- 56:23Vancouver because I San Jose is not going offense.
- 56:27They're not, they're not. They have one good defense with
- 56:29Ferraro, who's a good young player.
- 56:30They're not. They're going Reid.
- 56:32Reid's going to and if they were smart, you go Verhof, that's
- 56:36where I go. But the Rangers are going to be
- 56:38lucky. I'm going to say this.
- 56:39The Rangers are going to get lucky and hopefully you pray.
- 56:43You pray Ranger fans that they draft Keaton.
- 56:48I'm telling you, if they screw this up, it's you need to get
- 56:53rid of them tomorrow. I mean get rid of them now
- 56:55before. Keaton.
- 56:57I'm getting a Keaton jersey. Is that what you're saying,
- 57:00Errol? You hope.
- 57:01You hope that they don't screw this up because he's the guy,
- 57:04he's the guy, he's the right. Guy, how would Jerry screw this
- 57:06up? Is he trading down?
- 57:07Is that what? He's gonna do.
- 57:08He'll drop, clap off. He better not.
- 57:10He better not. Whatever he does or whatever he
- 57:13decides to do. If this kid is sitting there at
- 57:15five, you don't even wait. You make sure you just go up
- 57:19there and say Keaton Verhoff, because that's the guy.
- 57:22He's a Canadian born player, He's fun to watch, He's mean, he
- 57:27hits, he can skate, he can shoot, he can do everything you
- 57:31want and he's your future. He's your captain and you talk
- 57:34about the future of the New York Rangers.
- 57:36You need a guy like that and he's going to be he's going to
- 57:38fulfill everything that you need.
- 57:40Like I said, he's not a Schaefer.
- 57:41He's not Matthew Schaefer, but who is?
- 57:43No, he's a he's a guy that reminds me of Aitchison.
- 57:46He's he is the spinning image of Aitchison, just a bigger
- 57:50Aitchison. Aitchison is probably a little
- 57:52bit better as a goal scorer. That's about it.
- 57:54But remember, he wasn't supposed to be, by the way, he's
- 57:56developed that this year that quickly.
- 57:58So we'll see. Keaton and Keaton, Keaton's
- 58:01getting called up right away. If the Rangers draft team he is
- 58:04right away, he will be up with the NHL team.
- 58:07He's special. And I think the Ranger fans will
- 58:09be they'll fall in love with him.
- 58:11I'll I'll tell Beef. I told Beef, you're going to buy
- 58:13his jersey. You're going to you're going to
- 58:15get on your hands and knees and you're going to kiss his ass
- 58:17because that guy is the right guy and he's he's he's got that
- 58:21personality and he knows how to speak.
- 58:23By the way, I've seen him on a couple hockey shows, very funny,
- 58:26very outgoing, very good leader. North Dakota, North North Dakota
- 58:30is they never made it to the Frozen 4I.
- 58:32I mean, the last time they went to Frozen 4 was a long time ago.
- 58:35Did they not make the tournament this year?
- 58:38They did. And why?
- 58:39Because of Keaton and Verhof. So I'm telling you, he's that
- 58:43good of a player. So that's all I'm going to say
- 58:45about that. All right, we'll call this Dial
- 58:47it Up. We interrupted this regularly
- 58:49scheduled. Hot mix to bring an important
- 58:51news we got a. Big broadcast to do here.
- 58:54We're about to dial it all it up.
- 58:58All right, let's bring, let's bring.
- 59:00Let's bring Mr. Ad in. Why not?
- 59:02Let's bring him in. He can hang out with us.
- 59:04Let's bring him in our new producer.
- 59:07All right, bring him in. Here we go.
- 59:10Dial it up. Everyone's favorite Lightning
- 59:14Round sports segment. We're going to go through a few
- 59:16stories. Errol has not seen him yet.
- 59:18He's going to. Dial up a take.
- 59:20And one of us is going to react to his comments.
- 59:23Here we go. First story is this one that we
- 59:28talked about about a week and a half ago on The Sports Minute.
- 59:32Brendan Sorsby is under investigation.
- 59:35He's currently suspended by the NCAA for gambling.
- 59:40Apparently he made somewhere around 20,000 bets since 2022.
- 59:48I looked up how much money he's in danger of losing if he ends
- 59:53up going to the NFL, which is what they're talking about.
- 59:55The supplemental draft he'd have to declare by next month and the
- 59:59draft is at the end of June, June 30th.
- 1:00:02If he gets taken there, whatever round he gets taken, that team
- 1:00:06has to forfeit a draft pick in that round.
- 1:00:09So if he were to be taken in the third round and no one has been
- 1:00:13taken in a supplemental draft since 2019 in the fifth round.
- 1:00:16Safety the Cardinals had for about 6 years actually worked
- 1:00:19out for them. He would lose, it says here,
- 1:00:22anywhere between 10 and $48 million by having to come to the
- 1:00:29NFL on a third round thing instead of taking his 5 million
- 1:00:33in the NAL, which he's now losing and a potential they were
- 1:00:36saying he was in line to be the 8th pick or a top ten pick in
- 1:00:41the first round next year. Dial it.
- 1:00:44Up here, here's the facts guys, I for the New York Jets sitting
- 1:00:48here and sitting pretty. This is the guy I want to bring
- 1:00:50in And and here's another thing. I I sit here today and I know a
- 1:00:54lot of people would say why are we bringing a guy that bet on
- 1:00:56sports? Everybody bets on sports.
- 1:00:58You think he's the only one? It's been going on forever.
- 1:01:01He got caught, that's all that happened.
- 1:01:04He's going to lose money, but he's going to prove himself.
- 1:01:06He sits behind Geno Smith. If they bring in Russell Wilson,
- 1:01:09he'll sit behind those guys for a year or two.
- 1:01:11This guy would probably be The Jets pick a lot of people.
- 1:01:15I've read some analytics and what people think that this kick
- 1:01:18could be. A lot of these top end analysts
- 1:01:21say that this guy could be the best quarterback in next year's
- 1:01:24class. He had 2800 yards drawn, 27
- 1:01:28touchdowns. He only threw 5 interceptions.
- 1:01:32This guy can move outside of the pocket.
- 1:01:34Guess what his passing rating over 155.1.
- 1:01:38Accurate as hell. I'm, I'm telling you right now,
- 1:01:42if The Jets are sitting in this, in this draft and he decides to
- 1:01:46go into this draft, who cares about the money?
- 1:01:48He's going to win himself a lot of money because he's gonna sit
- 1:01:50behind for a couple of years, learn the position and then sit
- 1:01:54pretty because he's going to have Cooper to throw to.
- 1:01:56He's going to have Sonic to throw to.
- 1:01:58He's going to have Taylor to throw to.
- 1:02:00He's got Bruce Hall. He's got a good young offensive
- 1:02:02line who's better than him and who's better than the New York
- 1:02:06Jets. They can take their three first
- 1:02:07round draft picks next year and use it for players to fill.
- 1:02:11And by the way, The Jets have $150 million off the cap next
- 1:02:15year. Who's better than the New York
- 1:02:18Jets slam dunk, go after Soresby?
- 1:02:22Yeah, Soresby's a guy that had a lot of good traits that you
- 1:02:24definitely are encouraged by Cincinnati transitioning to the
- 1:02:27Big 12 after they were in the American Athletic Conference for
- 1:02:30a while, too. And he still played well amidst
- 1:02:32that. Again, I think if he declared
- 1:02:34just directly in this NFL draft or even the draft last year
- 1:02:37where he was still eligible, I think he wouldn't have been
- 1:02:38ready yet. But I think this situation now,
- 1:02:41you could get to the red shirt with an NFL team or play for a
- 1:02:43Texas Tech team that lost a lot of pieces.
- 1:02:46They got a lot of guys drafted in this draft.
- 1:02:48So I think it would have been stuck for him either way going
- 1:02:50into a loaded draft already where you're dealing with,
- 1:02:52obviously we talked about Arch Manning and Dante Moore.
- 1:02:54There's other guys that are going to do you draft him if
- 1:02:56you're The Jets. I I wouldn't mind taking a
- 1:02:59flyer. I think taking a flyer on a guy
- 1:03:01that's going to be a first round he's he's, again, he's raw.
- 1:03:04And that's they're raw raw. So is Arch Manning.
- 1:03:07They're all saying he's a raw player.
- 1:03:10They're all raw. You're raw until you step on an
- 1:03:12NFL football field, am I right? Q.
- 1:03:14Am I? Right.
- 1:03:16You're right, based on what we know.
- 1:03:17Yes, you don't know what they. Are and that sads my heart that
- 1:03:21I have to agree with him, Speedy.
- 1:03:22But yeah, he's right on this one.
- 1:03:25So then how about I give you the counterpoint?
- 1:03:28You always say Mark Sanchez needed to stay in college for
- 1:03:31another year. Yes.
- 1:03:32He wasn't ready. Yes.
- 1:03:33Well, then why would Soresby be ready?
- 1:03:35He's not being allowed to stay in college the year he needs.
- 1:03:38Two years, you're going to have him sit down, He'll come in,
- 1:03:41he'll sit behind Geno Smith and Russell Wilson.
- 1:03:43Whoever they, if they bring Russell Wilson in, they don't
- 1:03:45have to rush him in. Next year.
- 1:03:47You bring him in, in the middle of the season.
- 1:03:49Geno Smith will have one more year left on his contract.
- 1:03:52He will be ready. Sitting behind those guys,
- 1:03:55learning behind those guys and having all the young talent
- 1:03:58around and building relationships.
- 1:04:00I, I'm telling you right now, Sorsby's going to if, if he goes
- 1:04:03back to college and he gets drafted this year, The Jets are
- 1:04:06drafting him anyways. I think The Jets really like him
- 1:04:09and I think you get him as as a steal a first round talent for a
- 1:04:12third round pick who's better than them?
- 1:04:15They'll win. They don't have to use that pick
- 1:04:17next year on that. They could go after the the kid
- 1:04:20from Ohio State. They could go after the the wide
- 1:04:22receiver. What's his name again?
- 1:04:24Jeremiah Smith. Jeremiah Smith.
- 1:04:25They could get the the best wide receiver, the most game changing
- 1:04:28wide receiver we've seen come out of the draft.
- 1:04:30They well, who would be better? Salisbury will be laughing to
- 1:04:33the bank. He'll have Cooper What?
- 1:04:35Are you going to do with Cade? What are you going to do with
- 1:04:37Cade? What do you mean Cade?
- 1:04:38What? Your daughter.
- 1:04:40Dude, he's, he's a, he's a fourth round draft pick.
- 1:04:43I I don't think he's going to be anything more than a backup
- 1:04:47quarterback. That's it.
- 1:04:48He shouldn't have declared this year, yeah.
- 1:04:50Anytime you got a you got a chance to make a degenerate
- 1:04:53gambler the leader of your franchise that by the time he
- 1:04:55turns 20. Three typical typical giants.
- 1:04:57Got by the time we got a playoff, got to do.
- 1:05:01It great jets move great jets. Less on the game channel, it's
- 1:05:03more that he's bumped around many different teams.
- 1:05:06We've never seen someone in a situation like this.
- 1:05:08He could owe money to the Lucchesi crime family for all we
- 1:05:11know. Here we go.
- 1:05:13Let's take a look at a take that I know I wanted Q to take a look
- 1:05:17at. So we have this one.
- 1:05:19This is from Bill Simmons of the Ringer.
- 1:05:21He's obviously the Super fan of the Celtics.
- 1:05:24How he got his start. He blew a gasket about the great
- 1:05:29coaching of Joe Missoula. Basically Joe Missoula when he
- 1:05:34talks to him after the games, he's just like, yeah, the guys
- 1:05:36were open, they just didn't hit the shots.
- 1:05:38At some point, maybe they're leaving the guys open for a
- 1:05:42reason is basically Simmons argument.
- 1:05:46He was not happy with a number of things that Missoula did in
- 1:05:49the series, including, you know, punting on the bench and going
- 1:05:53to a short rotation. Despite the fact they had
- 1:05:56success with the bench all season.
- 1:05:58They kind of went back to the over reliance on three pointers,
- 1:06:00although they didn't have as many any good 3 point shooters
- 1:06:03as they did a couple years ago when they won.
- 1:06:06And then going with a line up, queue Baylor Shireman, Luke
- 1:06:10Garza and Ron Harper in the starting line up of game 7A line
- 1:06:14up they had never done at all once in the entire season.
- 1:06:18Predictably, it didn't work and Simmons might have a point here.
- 1:06:22Errol, what do you think? Dial it off.
- 1:06:25It's pretty simple. I could care less what Bill
- 1:06:28Simmons has or has to say. What does he know?
- 1:06:31He's what, 6 foot, 5 foot 10? It doesn't matter how tall he
- 1:06:35is. He don't play basketball.
- 1:06:37And Missoula, whatever. Missoula, to me, he's won a
- 1:06:42championship and this guy was looked at as possibly coach of
- 1:06:46the year. Now all of a sudden you're going
- 1:06:48to take shots at him because the team just had no depth and he
- 1:06:51played guys that he had to play. He didn't have a healthy Tatum.
- 1:06:55He, Jaylen Brown, is all over the place making excuses.
- 1:06:59Here's the facts. Why is Bill Simmons opening his
- 1:07:02mouth? He doesn't know anything of
- 1:07:04anything. Go ahead.
- 1:07:04Because his father took him to basketball games and he became a
- 1:07:08Celtic fan because of that. I could care less what Bill
- 1:07:11Simmons has to say. What he needs to do is he needs
- 1:07:14to bend over and I'll take a Celtic paddle and I'll beat him
- 1:07:16on the ass. Because I could care less what
- 1:07:18little Bill Simmons has to say about the Boston Celtics.
- 1:07:22Yeah. Listen, we're we're going to
- 1:07:25stick to just covering the support.
- 1:07:27But listen, Joe was playing with house money this year.
- 1:07:31This team was predicted to go nowhere at the start of the year
- 1:07:35and then they ended up overachieving in so many
- 1:07:37different areas. I agree with them and some of
- 1:07:40the points switching the lineups I think.
- 1:07:42You don't agree with the paddle, I think you don't agree with
- 1:07:44that. You don't agree with.
- 1:07:46The paddle so I think some of the.
- 1:07:47Boys never make. Money, Errol, Why do you want us
- 1:07:50to not make money? That guy has money that we could
- 1:07:52get one day and you just don't want us to ever get.
- 1:07:54Money. I don't need anything for Bill
- 1:07:56Simmons. I'll just give him a pack.
- 1:07:57That's not a lot of money. Yeah.
- 1:07:59So I think that at the end of the day, I think the the such is
- 1:08:03proved that analytics isn't everything.
- 1:08:05And I think they overly called in on the analytics that was
- 1:08:10shooting too many threes. And everybody knows we are our
- 1:08:12hit and miss and live or die by the three.
- 1:08:15We'll shoot the three if we own, we're going to blow you out by
- 1:08:1730 if we all if you have a chance to beat us by 510 and so
- 1:08:21on and so on. So I think Joe Missoula and and
- 1:08:24that staff proved that analytics isn't everything and then at
- 1:08:27some point you're going to have to coach.
- 1:08:28But again, I think they were playing my house money and at
- 1:08:31the end of the day, nobody was expecting us to do nothing.
- 1:08:33It was just a shock that the fact that we was up 31 and we
- 1:08:36blew that lead. Oh, stop.
- 1:08:38With this stop. With this, nobody thought they
- 1:08:40were going to be. They thought it, you thought it.
- 1:08:42That's not the reason. Why I wore it?
- 1:08:43I'm a fan. There's a difference and I'm not
- 1:08:46and I'm not kissing Bill Simmons ass for for anything.
- 1:08:49You don't have to. You don't have to be gay.
- 1:08:51You don't have. What makes it gay?
- 1:08:54Paddling in the ass. What do you mean?
- 1:08:57What makes it gay? What makes it gay?
- 1:09:00Wait, hold on one second. Hold on.
- 1:09:01One second. Hold on.
- 1:09:03Hold on. Hold on.
- 1:09:04Hold on. That has nothing to do with it.
- 1:09:05Think about it this way. Hold on.
- 1:09:07No, it's not. You guys obviously don't
- 1:09:08understand when you go to a private school.
- 1:09:11Hold on when you go to a private school.
- 1:09:13And if you know anything about Bill Simmons, because he said he
- 1:09:15went to a private school and he used to do a lot of bad things.
- 1:09:18He used to get paddled in the ass.
- 1:09:19You think I don't know what I'm talking about?
- 1:09:21Fish, you need to be quiet. I actually know what I'm talking
- 1:09:24about if I'm bringing something up.
- 1:09:26What are you talking? About you're just ridiculously
- 1:09:28gross. Everyone knows.
- 1:09:29I don't care what you're saying. I I care what I say because I
- 1:09:32know what Bill Simmons does and I know what he said.
- 1:09:34I watch the Celtic. Hold on.
- 1:09:36Well, I do. I watch the whole Celtic story.
- 1:09:39I, I hold on. I heard the whole Celtic story.
- 1:09:42I watched the the documentary and I heard what Bill Simmons
- 1:09:45said. So you're going to sit here and
- 1:09:47tell me, oh, you'll be gay? No, He said he used to get a
- 1:09:50paddle in the ass every time he went to private school because
- 1:09:52he wanted to watch the the game. So what did I say?
- 1:09:54He needs to be smacked in the ass with a paddle because he
- 1:09:57doesn't know what he's talking about.
- 1:09:58That just shows you how stupid you are, Fish.
- 1:10:01Now go on. I'm pretty sure you sounded more
- 1:10:04dumb than me. We're going to move on to the
- 1:10:05next topic right here, and it's a hockey one.
- 1:10:08This is real dumb. Somehow the Maple Leafs
- 1:10:11benefited and got the first pig, but they hired a new general
- 1:10:15manager and it set off all of the Canadian hockey.
- 1:10:21Sports media lost their mind about this guy.
- 1:10:24Conduct detrimental to the league.
- 1:10:26The league made him lose his job.
- 1:10:28He was basically trying to get other jobs while still being the
- 1:10:31general manager in Arizona before they moved.
- 1:10:35He was doing a legal draft testing.
- 1:10:38Anyway, the Toronto media really pissed off saying it's a sham
- 1:10:41hiring. He's a con artist and they hired
- 1:10:45Matt Sundino. You mentioned a minute ago
- 1:10:46Speedy, you know, as senior executive advisor.
- 1:10:50A lot of people are saying he is being used as a deodorant to get
- 1:10:53rid of the stink of Sheka Errol. This is a weird hockey story
- 1:10:58that you have to be really dialed into the Canadian media I
- 1:11:03think here. Dial it up.
- 1:11:05I actually heard this story and very interesting.
- 1:11:08I love Matt Sandean. I watched him play hockey for
- 1:11:11many, many years at a high level and he knows hockey.
- 1:11:14I think what they're doing is they're bringing in this guy
- 1:11:17because he he did some good things in Arizona, but also
- 1:11:20didn't do the right things at the end of his time in Arizona.
- 1:11:23Nobody wanted to hire this guy. I know that the Islanders were
- 1:11:26interested in hiring or even interviewing him and they
- 1:11:29decided to pass up on him. The fact here is we don't know
- 1:11:33what this guy is. And he went to an Arizona team
- 1:11:35that had nothing there. There was nothing there.
- 1:11:38And then they go to Utah and and they transition.
- 1:11:41I think that you look at the Maple Leafs right now, they
- 1:11:44can't go wrong with no matter what they do.
- 1:11:46They they won the drift. If anything, this the NHL made
- 1:11:50sure and I don't believe in, I don't believe in these bowls and
- 1:11:54they were cheating and stuff like that.
- 1:11:55But the NHL somehow gave the Maple Leafs an opportunity not
- 1:11:59to screw this up because I don't know what McKenna is going to
- 1:12:03be. I think he'll be a good player.
- 1:12:04I don't know if he'll be an elite player like everybody
- 1:12:06thinks he's going to be, but if he isn't, you're going to see
- 1:12:10this whole story come back again about this guy.
- 1:12:14This guy, they brought him in. He made the wrong decisions.
- 1:12:17But everybody and their mother thinks McKenna should go number
- 1:12:20one. I don't.
- 1:12:21But it's just to me, it's it's a hit or miss.
- 1:12:24You don't know what these GMs are going to be.
- 1:12:26Look, Lee, everybody hated Leon Rose.
- 1:12:28They were, they were jumping out of a building.
- 1:12:31They really were. When Liam Rose came to the New
- 1:12:33York Knicks, they're like, you're bringing in an agent.
- 1:12:35He doesn't know anything about basketball.
- 1:12:37Then he decided to bring in Worldwide W.
- 1:12:38Then he bring all these executives with them.
- 1:12:40And look, Leon Rose has changed the New York Knicks in five
- 1:12:44years to one of the worst organizations in all of sports,
- 1:12:48to one of the best basketball teams in basketball.
- 1:12:51That says a lot. You can't always judge what you
- 1:12:54see. You got to believe in what your
- 1:12:56organization is doing. I don't think this is a good
- 1:12:59move, but maybe I'm wrong. It's also one of those things
- 1:13:02where the reason he got suspended was a a conduct that
- 1:13:07was doing fitness tests and like hard workouts that were beyond
- 1:13:11the combine thing, which is also in a way hindering other teams
- 1:13:14too. And Fish says maybe we're
- 1:13:15bringing up like here, he's the GM of the Coyotes, but he's also
- 1:13:19doing things to these prospects that are hurting these other
- 1:13:21teams. And we saw a college football
- 1:13:24coach with with Maryland, the one before lock save DJ
- 1:13:28something DJ Durbin or something like that actually get fired
- 1:13:30because he was fish. I don't know if you've had
- 1:13:33instances with other coaches that were like these players are
- 1:13:35getting overheated because they were overworking him in the
- 1:13:37summer. Like that's what essentially
- 1:13:39what he's doing, the hockey equivalent to these NHL
- 1:13:41prospects. In addition to the fact that he
- 1:13:42was tampering in certain instances in 2018 and 2019 as
- 1:13:47well. And I was talking about it
- 1:13:48before, like maybe the Coyotes got punished for that reason.
- 1:13:50Maybe they didn't get the number one pick that they could have
- 1:13:52gotten another years because he was there and he didn't serve as
- 1:13:54AGM for five years now because of this.
- 1:13:56So yeah, it definitely looks a little bit shady on the Maple
- 1:13:58Leafs part, but it's the Maple Leafs.
- 1:13:59They're going to get away with things because the Maple Leafs.
- 1:14:02Errol, it kind of reminds me, you brought up somebody, the guy
- 1:14:05that that I always thought of that got a terrible reputation
- 1:14:09and didn't deserve it was our friend of this show, Neil Smith.
- 1:14:12I was just about to say that. Why isn't Neil Smith getting
- 1:14:15offered another job? Neil Smith knows hockey just as
- 1:14:18good as anybody and he won the Stanley Cup and since then he's
- 1:14:21not gotten another job. The Island just hired him for
- 1:14:23what, 5 minutes? They bring in Mike Millbury.
- 1:14:26Look how great that was sensational.
- 1:14:29Thank you Islander fans. We we've seen bad hockey.
- 1:14:32Finally, Lou Lamarella decides to step away sleeping.
- 1:14:34Lou and ownership actually brought in a guy in Darsh who I
- 1:14:37think actually knows what he's doing.
- 1:14:39So. All right, let's go on to the
- 1:14:41next one. We got 2 left.
- 1:14:43You know, I was going to throw a Giants one in there, of course.
- 1:14:46Oh, yeah. The New York Football Giants
- 1:14:49have completed the defense. They have signed the guy that
- 1:14:55everyone was projecting on the sign when they didn't take a
- 1:14:57real defensive tackle until the 6th round in the draft.
- 1:15:01DJ Reader. It's going to be their nose
- 1:15:03tackle. The deal says it's two year base
- 1:15:07value of 12 and a half million and 5.25 guaranteed could go up
- 1:15:13to 15 1/2 with incentives. He played for the Lions last
- 1:15:18couple of years, was pretty good for the Lions.
- 1:15:21He's one of the better run stoppers in the league.
- 1:15:23Not bad against the pass when he's out there, but really A2
- 1:15:26down player for the most part. They're going to use him to
- 1:15:29replace Dexter Lawrence in first and second down situations.
- 1:15:34Errol. I don't know who made the
- 1:15:36choice. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Joe
- 1:15:37Shane though. Dial it off.
- 1:15:40Now rage, I'm, I'm sorry, Giant fans are sitting here today and
- 1:15:43they're like, oh, we got DJ Reader.
- 1:15:46It's, it's okay. We, we added a, a great pass
- 1:15:49rusher at #5 we added a great offensive lineman.
- 1:15:52We're winning, we're winning. We're going to bring in DJ
- 1:15:55Reader, but you lost Dexter Lawrence.
- 1:15:58OK, this guy, DJ Reader is not Dexter Lawrence.
- 1:16:02He doesn't get triple teamed and quadruple teamed and, and draws
- 1:16:07people to him to open up seams for their other pass rushers.
- 1:16:11This guy's a completely different player now.
- 1:16:13Doesn't mean he's not a good player.
- 1:16:14It doesn't mean he's not a good addition to the defense.
- 1:16:17He is, but he is not Dexter Lawrence.
- 1:16:20For Giant fans to come out and say, I remember, by the way,
- 1:16:23shout out to Nathan, he came out.
- 1:16:25There's a good move. There's a good move.
- 1:16:26Really. OK, here's my thought.
- 1:16:28In 2025, he played 17 games, right?
- 1:16:32He had eleven solo tackles. How many sacks did this guy
- 1:16:35have? 00.
- 1:16:37And you're going to sit here and you're going to tell me Dexter
- 1:16:40Lawrence, who was not healthy last year, how many sacks did he
- 1:16:42have? Speedy, I rest my case.
- 1:16:45He's. Same thing.
- 1:16:47The same thing. I rest my case A.
- 1:16:49Half a SEC. I'm I'm talking about how many
- 1:16:52tackles did he have? Is about the same.
- 1:16:55No, it's not. He's not.
- 1:16:57He's not the same. You're going to compare DJ
- 1:16:59Reader to Dexter Lawrence. No, he's not Dexter Lawrence.
- 1:17:01He's not. But I'll tell you what, there
- 1:17:03was one player who had more double teams last year than
- 1:17:06Dexter Lawrence, and it was DJ Reader.
- 1:17:08You're wrong about that. DJ Reader was at 71.7%, the only
- 1:17:12player higher than Dexter Lawrence.
- 1:17:14I will tell you guys this for giant fans out there that are
- 1:17:17going to sit here and try to make.
- 1:17:19DJ, are you going to let me give the case or you're just going to
- 1:17:21cut me off before I? Because I know what you're going
- 1:17:23to say. You're going to make it all
- 1:17:25happy to. Know what I'm going?
- 1:17:26To say happy go lucky, happy go lucky.
- 1:17:29It's raining. We're.
- 1:17:31Gonna do. That's what we're gonna bring.
- 1:17:32Happy go lucky or I'll give you happy go lucky defense is said
- 1:17:37all the pieces of now. Watch this, ladies and
- 1:17:39gentlemen. What a choke.
- 1:17:40The edges All Pro level edges Brian Burns, second team All Pro
- 1:17:45last year on one edge you got Abdul Carter led the league in
- 1:17:50quick pressures. On the other edge, you just got
- 1:17:52the number five overall pick, R Valreese, playing Will
- 1:17:55linebacker on that. Defense and he's going to be
- 1:17:57doing. All sorts of crazy things.
- 1:17:59Jermaine Edmonds can be the green dot for that defense.
- 1:18:03My goodness. What?
- 1:18:04Who, Where are they coming from? Shelby Harris, an extra 3 Tech
- 1:18:07veteran presence. He's going to coach those boys
- 1:18:10up, going to bring them along on the inside and that's just the
- 1:18:13front seven. I haven't even gotten into the
- 1:18:15secondary. We're going to see a resurgent
- 1:18:18year, resurgent year out of Tay Banks.
- 1:18:21He's going to come back. Just wait till you see him.
- 1:18:24Could somebody mute this guy over here?
- 1:18:26Are we really sick? You said happy go.
- 1:18:29Lucky you didn't. Want to You're on drugs.
- 1:18:32You've lost your freaking mind. This because I've been.
- 1:18:35Listening to you for the last four.
- 1:18:36Hours. That's fine, that's fine.
- 1:18:38At least I make my points and not sit here and kiss my inject
- 1:18:41him with something. I'm not going to kiss my team's
- 1:18:43ass. I'm not going to sit here and
- 1:18:44say, dude, you're. Sorry.
- 1:18:46I'll give blue to my doofence. Give me some red hots because I
- 1:18:51need some Chili Peppers, baby. This is ridiculous.
- 1:18:54Java used to do popcorn promos. Should I do Raisin promos for
- 1:18:57you? Now I need some chili so I could
- 1:19:00fart my way out of this crap. I'll give you the real football
- 1:19:05take. This is real.
- 1:19:06The nose tackle position is not all that important compared to
- 1:19:10other defensive line position because it's a 2 down position.
- 1:19:13You can cobble together that position with a run stopper and
- 1:19:16you can get some guys in pass rush situations.
- 1:19:18You can put Thibodeau in, you know, play on the edge and then
- 1:19:21have Abdul Carter inside knifing in.
- 1:19:23You could have Reese knifing and you could do all sorts of things
- 1:19:26with those guys and mess around with it in a NASCAR type of a
- 1:19:28package, especially if you're going 425.
- 1:19:31So I think there's a lot they could do.
- 1:19:33Dexter Lawrence was a luxury, obviously, but it's not like
- 1:19:37they can't make up what he. Who's their defensive
- 1:19:39coordinator? Who's their defensive
- 1:19:40coordinator? Is a better guy than they had
- 1:19:42last. Who is their defensive?
- 1:19:44Coordinator. Wilson.
- 1:19:44OK. And how many times and how long
- 1:19:47was he a defensive coordinator in the NFL?
- 1:19:49He was a coordinator last couple years.
- 1:19:52Where was he Speedy last couple years?
- 1:19:53Replacing St. Bowen.
- 1:19:54You don't even know where he was.
- 1:19:56You don't even know where he was.
- 1:19:57Sorry I wasn't at the top of my head.
- 1:19:58Just saying you had no idea where he was.
- 1:20:02That to me, settles everything for you giant fans.
- 1:20:06That's what settles it. You don't listen to the whole
- 1:20:08argument. You don't refute a single point.
- 1:20:10You try to do a gotcha on me that I don't have a gotcha.
- 1:20:14But immediately I asked our a resident stat guru and he tells
- 1:20:19me immediately and you just. Gotcha.
- 1:20:21My entire argument. Gotcha.
- 1:20:22That's not God, that's lame. You didn't.
- 1:20:24Even want to fight the. Argument Lame.
- 1:20:27We got one left. Calamity on that last one for
- 1:20:30Errol. I guess he's the king though.
- 1:20:32Here it is. This is the one of the craziest
- 1:20:34stories going. I don't know if you've seen
- 1:20:36this, but Alec Baum having a terrible year for the Phillies.
- 1:20:41You know, third baseman, there's this crazy story out there right
- 1:20:46now. It's been going on for a while.
- 1:20:47He's suing his parents. It's actually pretty fun.
- 1:20:50For mismanaging funds. Let me give you the full details
- 1:20:53on it. So in late March, he filed a
- 1:20:56civil lawsuit of at least three million in damages against his
- 1:20:59parents for misappropriation of finances.
- 1:21:02He said that they've been charged with handling his
- 1:21:04earnings since he started in the league in 2018, but they had
- 1:21:08been siphoning money through LLC starting the following year.
- 1:21:13They blocked his access to some of his funds According to him
- 1:21:17and freezing him out of four accounts and bomb fired Scott
- 1:21:21Boris because his parents pressured him into hiring Boris.
- 1:21:26What he's saying under considerable duress.
- 1:21:29The parents are are trying to get the case thrown out and have
- 1:21:32categorically denied any wrongdoing that they were only
- 1:21:36just trying to help their son. But he had all full access to
- 1:21:40accounts and if he ever wanted to look, he should have been
- 1:21:43able to. This story is just absolutely
- 1:21:46bizarre. It's pending the stories of
- 1:21:49parents and kids. You know, sometimes this does
- 1:21:51happen. I don't know if it's actually
- 1:21:53happening in this case right here.
- 1:21:56What have you heard? Dial it up.
- 1:21:59It's actually pretty funny and it reminds me of a lot of
- 1:22:02different things that have happened in the past with many
- 1:22:04different players. This is not a funny story, but
- 1:22:07does anybody remember the former Minnesota Twins pitcher Dan
- 1:22:11Safini? Remember him?
- 1:22:12He was sentenced after killing killing his father-in-law.
- 1:22:16Remember that that story and because you know, he's just out
- 1:22:21of his mind. I'm not saying this guys going
- 1:22:23to kill his parents, but it it seems like he's just an idiot.
- 1:22:27Why would you leave? And it's the same thing with the
- 1:22:29Shay Otani thing. Shay Ohtani didn't know where
- 1:22:32his money was going. Get out of here.
- 1:22:34You have 6 accounts. It was.
- 1:22:35It was said that he has 6 accountants.
- 1:22:37You're going to tell me your accountants don't know how to
- 1:22:39count numbers? Get out of here.
- 1:22:41You knew where your money was going.
- 1:22:43You just plain stupid. And baseball just tried to
- 1:22:46protect you because you are Shay Ohtani.
- 1:22:48You're an international superstar.
- 1:22:50This story. Who the hell is Alex Bohm?
- 1:22:53Who the hell is he? You're sitting here today and
- 1:22:56you're trying to pinpoint, well, what is he doing with his money
- 1:22:59or what did his parents do with his money?
- 1:23:00Oh, he fired his his, his agent or fired whoever.
- 1:23:04Here's what you do if you're making money like that.
- 1:23:08Millions of dollars or hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 1:23:12You have a way to check your statistics of money.
- 1:23:16You, you, you go out there, you look at the numbers, your
- 1:23:19finances, understand where your money's going.
- 1:23:21It's going here. It's going there.
- 1:23:22You don't let your parents run your crap.
- 1:23:24Are you a little kid or you, you 5 years old and Mommy, Daddy,
- 1:23:28give me my lunch money. I need my lunch money.
- 1:23:31This is ridiculous. This is this is stupidity.
- 1:23:34The kids an idiot. He deserves everything that he's
- 1:23:36getting, honestly. And who trusts Scott?
- 1:23:39Boris who the hell trust that idiot?
- 1:23:42That guy steals, steals steals. The guys stolen so much money
- 1:23:46and he drips people off. It's a joke, honestly.
- 1:23:50Don't cry me a river. If you want to cry me a river.
- 1:23:53Play whatever you want. Play the music.
- 1:23:55Play some Billy Joel. Remember that.
- 1:23:57I I I mean, seriously, I I have no idea what this kid is doing
- 1:24:00with his money, and he's stupid. That's it.
- 1:24:03Yeah. I wonder what the context is
- 1:24:05going to be about. Like, why he would have used it
- 1:24:07anyway. Like, you're giving your parents
- 1:24:09and you're becoming a baseball player.
- 1:24:10You're giving your parents your right to this.
- 1:24:12You know, they're going to want to, like, do some stuff with
- 1:24:14them and have something where they can benefit as well.
- 1:24:17So I wonder what the purpose of it was, maybe.
- 1:24:20I mean, obviously doing it behind the scenes maybe doesn't
- 1:24:22look bad on the on the parents part.
- 1:24:23But yeah, I wonder maybe there could have been more security.
- 1:24:26Maybe there could have been ways that you could have managed it a
- 1:24:28little better. And I think boom, for somebody
- 1:24:31that isn't making a huge contract anyway, maybe turned
- 1:24:33out Boris for that reason, like he's making a lower end third
- 1:24:36base money because he's an average third baseman.
- 1:24:38And you would think you'd be more careful with that kind of
- 1:24:40thing. And maybe if you knew something
- 1:24:43like that was going to happen, get the security, get better.
- 1:24:45That's nothing to do with it. Allen Iverson didn't know how to
- 1:24:47control his money and he went bankrupt.
- 1:24:50You don't know how to control your money.
- 1:24:51It goes fast. Hundreds of millions of dollars
- 1:24:54is nothing when you can go out there and help your buddies,
- 1:24:57help your mother, your sister. Everybody needs money.
- 1:25:00Everybody thinks that you're making money and you think it's
- 1:25:02endless money. Eventually it goes, it
- 1:25:05disappears. You got to be smart with your
- 1:25:06money. Allen Iverson came out and said
- 1:25:08it on his documentary. He made mistakes.
- 1:25:11He helped people that he shouldn't be helping, and
- 1:25:14unfortunately, it made him bankrupt.
- 1:25:16Thank God he's Allen Iverson. He's making money off of
- 1:25:18autographs, but people are like, he's not Allen Iverson.
- 1:25:21Nobody even knows who this kid is.
- 1:25:23And it's unfortunate. Yeah, he's he's somebody that's
- 1:25:26bounced around from the minors and the majors, too.
- 1:25:28Like the Phillies fans were booing him, I believe a couple
- 1:25:30of years ago, and they were really booing him in the
- 1:25:32playoffs. And I think something like that,
- 1:25:34like you don't get that kind of contracts with that too.
- 1:25:37So you're really have to be careful when it's even less and
- 1:25:40that's your main assets for it. So I, I think it looks bad both
- 1:25:43ways. And maybe the parents are kind
- 1:25:44of shady in this too, but Boehm should have definitely been a
- 1:25:47little more aware to be more secure with something that big.
- 1:25:50Go ahead, Sam. No, I mean, I agreed to whatever
- 1:25:57he said, you know? I thought you were you were
- 1:25:59going to add to it. OK.
- 1:26:00All right. Yeah, that's good.
- 1:26:02Thank you. Don't you think, Errol, it's
- 1:26:04like the guy never looked at his money and then like, he's like,
- 1:26:07oh, I should look at my money and he's like, oh, there's not
- 1:26:09as much in there as I thought. What happened?
- 1:26:12All my parents must have been taking it.
- 1:26:14That's what it feels like. It feels like this is like the
- 1:26:17dumb, one of the dumbest guys in baseball.
- 1:26:19And there's like not a lot of, I mean, there's a bunch of guys
- 1:26:22that aren't super. Bright, I mean, daddy stole my
- 1:26:24lunch money. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 1:26:27You're, you're, you're a little girl.
- 1:26:30You need to stand up for yourself.
- 1:26:31And if your parents are stealing from you, you should have seen
- 1:26:34it. And, and like I said, Shea Otani
- 1:26:37didn't understand where $22 million was going when he had 6
- 1:26:41accountants looking over his money.
- 1:26:43That's a bunch of crud. And nobody believes that story.
- 1:26:46Nobody that we've had on the show except the idiots, Jabba
- 1:26:49Chamberlain that actually wants to sit there and believe that.
- 1:26:52And I no, Jabba, I don't think you're an idiot, but that was an
- 1:26:54idiot take because you, you know, 20, if you're missing $22
- 1:26:57million, you would know, everybody would know that twenty
- 1:27:00$22 million is missing out of my account every single dollar.
- 1:27:04So I, I don't care how rich you are, it's $22 million.
- 1:27:07That's a lot of freaking money. That's a lot of moolah.
- 1:27:10So you're going to sit here and then just stupid.
- 1:27:12It just the whole freaking thing is dumb.
- 1:27:15Thank you. We have a new producer.
- 1:27:16He's going to be joining us. He's getting to know who we are.
- 1:27:19Sam ad he's right there in the corner.
- 1:27:21We really appreciate him joining us.
- 1:27:23And, and he's going to be working with us on, on so many
- 1:27:26things on the back end and the front end of the stuff.
- 1:27:27So we think everybody that tunes into us on every single profile,
- 1:27:32I never thank anybody on Roku. And somebody actually reached
- 1:27:35out to me the other day and says I watch your show on Roku all
- 1:27:38the time. And I said, so I'm going to
- 1:27:41thank all the people that are tuned in on Roku watching our
- 1:27:44show, interacting. If we can't see you, I
- 1:27:47apologize. We can't see you.
- 1:27:49And there's another stupid thing Fish is posting up.
- 1:27:52Stand out to the Roku nation, maybe?
- 1:27:54Yes, thank you to all the Spotify and Apple fans on video
- 1:27:59and audio, all the downloads, all the views, all the videos
- 1:28:04and all the other stuff. Thank you to the TikTok,
- 1:28:06Instagram and X fans, New York sports, loudmouth, YouTube or
- 1:28:11YouTube fans, and we have a couple of them on still on.
- 1:28:15It's crazy. We do our show from 7:00 to
- 1:28:1711:00. It's, it's, it's a long one, but
- 1:28:20I will say this, this is like the prime time for sports and,
- 1:28:23and a lot of guys go in and out. It's it's not easy.
- 1:28:26We're not doing prime time for radio shows.
- 1:28:29We're doing prime time for sports and, and, and people are
- 1:28:31sitting there and watching our show throughout the show.
- 1:28:34So everybody that tunes. And by the way, after we're
- 1:28:37live, we take the video off. So you cannot watch it on our
- 1:28:41YouTube channel, the full video. So the only way you can see it
- 1:28:44is on Spotify and Apple. So I want to let all the fans
- 1:28:47know that we do not keep it. We only do with this live on
- 1:28:50video. So you can watch us when you're
- 1:28:51interacting and you can interact, you know, during our
- 1:28:54live events. But we really appreciate all the
- 1:28:57fans, sweetie. Who do we have on Monday and
- 1:29:00Thursday? Joining at 8:20 on Monday, Mr.
- 1:29:02Invincible, Vince Papale, the first undrafted free agent, the
- 1:29:05first player in the NFL history did not play college football.
- 1:29:08He'll join us at 8:20. And then on Thursday, Greg Oden,
- 1:29:12former NBA player and was saying some of the directors of his new
- 1:29:15movie as well. Yes.
- 1:29:17And, and I've been following Greg and he's doing some things
- 1:29:20and he has a clothing line. He's doing all these crazy
- 1:29:22things and Greg was expected to be one of the better big men
- 1:29:27when he was drafted by the Trail Blazers.
- 1:29:30Obviously, it didn't happen that way.
- 1:29:32He had problems with his leg and his feet and all that other
