- 0:30Speaker 1: we didn't really know what to expect and it just
- 0:34Speaker 1: unfolded and unfolded and unfolded. Gina is a psychic medium
- 0:39Speaker 1: and she lives in Kentucky, and we're going to provide

- 0:52Speaker 1: and enjoy this podcast with ginas Garpino. Welcome back to
- 0:57Speaker 1: the Observatory Podcast. Ray and I are sitting down here
- 1:00Speaker 1: remotely with Gina Scarpino, and we're so honored to have
- 1:04Speaker 1: you here. Gina is a medium and we're going to
- 1:08Speaker 1: chat about that and among many other gifts that she
- 1:11Speaker 1: has and the work that she does in helping others
- 1:14Speaker 1: and coaching others and guiding others. We're excited to dive
- 1:18Speaker 1: into that. So thank you Gina for being here.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Yes, welcome, Thank you guys so much. I've been looking
- 1:24Speaker 3: forward to being on this podcast for a while since
- 1:26Speaker 3: the day that you all asked me. I'm so happy
- 1:29Speaker 3: to be here. Thank you, thank you, thank you for
- 1:31Speaker 3: having me.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yes, it's all right, that's great. It's something you know.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Your gifts are something that I have spent a lot
- 1:39Speaker 2: of time thinking about and very curious and have I
- 1:42Speaker 2: myself have had sessions with mediums, and so I just
- 1:46Speaker 2: really value the talent and gift that that is, and
- 1:49Speaker 2: so I've been super excited to talk to about about
- 1:53Speaker 2: it with you and have you share the story of
- 1:56Speaker 2: your journey to that gift and how that gift has
- 1:59Speaker 2: unfolded for you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, my journey is it's been a wild ride.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Never in a million years, if you would have asked
- 2:10Speaker 3: me twenty years ago if I would be doing this,
- 2:13Speaker 3: I would have looked at you and tilted my head
- 2:14Speaker 3: to the side and been like, what are you talking about?
- 2:18Speaker 3: It was not in my orbit at all, whatsoever. Now,
- 2:22Speaker 3: I always knew that I was different from everyone else.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Like my mom used to tell me stories how when
- 2:29Speaker 3: I was a little girl, I'd be sitting in the
- 2:32Speaker 3: backseat and I would say odd things as a three
- 2:36Speaker 3: or four year old, and I would say, Mom, can
- 2:40Speaker 3: I just take the world's pain away? As a little
- 2:45Speaker 3: three year old? And then as I aged or got older,
- 2:49Speaker 3: my mom might have, you know, taken me to a store,
- 2:52Speaker 3: and the adults would always find me and they would
- 2:56Speaker 3: always tell me their life stories. Even I would be
- 2:59Speaker 3: five six years years old and have someone in their
- 3:01Speaker 3: fifties sobbing telling me their life story, and my mom
- 3:05Speaker 3: is like, what's going on with my little girl? This
- 3:08Speaker 3: is not this is not normal.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Whoa And But.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It wasn't until my early twenties when when my grandfather
- 3:18Speaker 3: passed away, he came to me in a dream. And
- 3:23Speaker 3: earlier earlier that day, we were we were getting his
- 3:26Speaker 3: belongings together and we were trying to find his classic outfit. Now,
- 3:31Speaker 3: my grandfather was a very amazing flambuoyant Italian masculine man,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and he was very color coordinated. And this one outfit
- 3:43Speaker 3: he always wore, this red eyes od sweater and these
- 3:46Speaker 3: yellow shorts. That was like his favorite kind of vibe.
- 3:50Speaker 3: And we searched everywhere that day for the red sweater
- 3:53Speaker 3: and the yellow shorts. Couldn't find it anywhere. I mean,
- 3:56Speaker 3: it just vanished, and lo and behold that night he
- 4:00Speaker 3: showed up in my dreams. And this was the first
- 4:03Speaker 3: dream I ever had of a spirit connection. And he
- 4:07Speaker 3: was sitting in an old wooden chair in that red sweater,
- 4:10Speaker 3: those yellow shorts, and he just sat in the chair
- 4:13Speaker 3: and looked at me, and it was kind of like
- 4:18Speaker 3: this telepathic connection that we had. That he made me
- 4:23Speaker 3: feel really content and peaceful and that everything was okay.
- 4:29Speaker 3: And I woke up from that dream and my whole
- 4:33Speaker 3: world changed. I could see spirit, I could hear spirit,
- 4:38Speaker 3: I could feel them, and the intensity was something that
- 4:42Speaker 3: I could not shy away from. And so I had
- 4:48Speaker 3: reached out to one of my aunts and I told
- 4:53Speaker 3: her all about this, and she goes, well, you know
- 4:56Speaker 3: you have to go see You got to go see
- 4:58Speaker 3: a medium in Lilydale. And I was like, what's Lilydale?
- 5:03Speaker 3: And she goes, No one's told you about Lilydale. I
- 5:06Speaker 3: grew up less than two miles away from the world's
- 5:11Speaker 3: most well known mediumistic community.
- 5:13Speaker 2: No clue.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Oh wow, I can walk there from my dad's house.
- 5:18Speaker 3: That's how close it is. No clue. My whole entire life.
- 5:21Speaker 1: So how old were you around this time did you say?
- 5:24Speaker 2: She said early twenties.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Yeah, like early twenties, maybe twenty three, twenty four, something
- 5:30Speaker 3: like that. And so that next year, my aunt took
- 5:35Speaker 3: me to Lilydale and I saw a wonderful medium who
- 5:39Speaker 3: then became a mentor and a friend to me. His
- 5:43Speaker 3: name was John White. He's passed now, but I went
- 5:46Speaker 3: in for a reading, and the first thing that he
- 5:49Speaker 3: said to me, I mean literally the first sentence, have
- 5:52Speaker 3: it on a cassette tape and everything. He said, I
- 5:57Speaker 3: see a blue star in the center of your forehead.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I don't know if you know this yet or not,
- 6:02Speaker 3: but you're a medium. I had never heard anything like
- 6:06Speaker 3: that before. And I sat there and I was like, huh,
- 6:10Speaker 3: this really all makes sense, But also what's a medium?
- 6:13Speaker 3: And how do I do that?
- 6:16Speaker 2: That's what I'd have been saying, Yeah, like what is
- 6:18Speaker 2: that exactly?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah, because you had I mean twenty years ago, this
- 6:23Speaker 3: was not mainstream. No, this was like you still kind
- 6:27Speaker 3: of tiptoed around this kind of thing. Right, it's not.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Really even mainstream now, but it's becoming.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That exactly exactly, more so ever now than than before. Sure,
- 6:40Speaker 3: So after that reading, I was lit on fire and
- 6:43Speaker 3: I was like, how do I do this? What do
- 6:45Speaker 3: I do? So I did the only thing that I
- 6:48Speaker 3: knew how to do is I booked an appointment with
- 6:51Speaker 3: every medium known demand, so that at the end of
- 6:54Speaker 3: the reading, I could ask them, can you teach me?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Can you mentor me? Can you help me with this?
- 7:00Speaker 3: They all said no, every single one of them. I
- 7:04Speaker 3: mean I spent thousands of dollars on readings trying to
- 7:08Speaker 3: find one that would help me because I didn't know
- 7:11Speaker 3: how to put the pieces together. And so I vowed
- 7:14Speaker 3: to myself it's there is ever a point in my
- 7:18Speaker 3: life where I can teach others to do this. Once
- 7:21Speaker 3: I learn, I will do it. And a very very
- 7:24Speaker 3: short time after that, I went to the Arthur Finlay
- 7:29Speaker 3: College in Essex, England, and it is a psychic college.
- 7:35Speaker 3: It's a psychic science college for mediums, and it looks
- 7:38Speaker 3: like Hogwarts. It's in a big, huge castle and you
- 7:43Speaker 3: go there, you sleep there, eat their train there, and
- 7:45Speaker 3: it is intense and I was lit on fire. The
- 7:49Speaker 3: day I got back, I started my business. I started
- 7:52Speaker 3: teaching other mediums and that's where my heart and soul
- 7:55Speaker 3: lives is teaching other people how to access their gifts
- 7:59Speaker 3: so that they don't feel alone in this. And that's
- 8:02Speaker 3: my why behind doing the teaching and the readings, so
- 8:06Speaker 3: that people don't feel alone, because I felt that and
- 8:09Speaker 3: it was excruciating at the time. So if I can
- 8:13Speaker 3: help other intuitives feel like someone has their back or
- 8:16Speaker 3: someone understands the weird things that are happening to them,
- 8:21Speaker 3: that's what I want to be there for. So then
- 8:25Speaker 3: everything just created and flowed, and it was I started
- 8:29Speaker 3: teaching mediums before I actually started doing paid professional readings.
- 8:34Speaker 3: That's how lit on fire.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I was wow.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And then little by little started doing readings and retreats
- 8:41Speaker 3: and healings and all of that fun stuff.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Well, I have so many questions. So when you you know,
- 8:49Speaker 2: it's interesting that you were looking and so actively looking
- 8:53Speaker 2: for a mentor to help you. And was this before
- 8:56Speaker 2: you I mean, you said, after the experience with your grandfather,
- 9:00Speaker 2: you could feel spirit, see spirit. But did you associate
- 9:03Speaker 2: that with a talent that you had or you just
- 9:06Speaker 2: knew you had had that experience.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I did not know that that was a talent or
- 9:11Speaker 3: an ability or anything. I just thought I thought it
- 9:14Speaker 3: was very normal, okay, And I didn't know what I
- 9:18Speaker 3: was doing was mediumistic at that time. It took me
- 9:22Speaker 3: a little bit to understand that. So I didn't I
- 9:26Speaker 3: didn't think that it was anything special at all whatsoever.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I thought I was like everybody else.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Wow, So you go to England. Tell us a little
- 9:34Speaker 2: bit about how that what that experience was like. Being
- 9:37Speaker 2: with other people who were aware that they had these
- 9:40Speaker 2: gifts and kind of taking that journey together. That must
- 9:44Speaker 2: have been fascinating me. Yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah, and a whole school full of us. So first
- 9:52Speaker 3: and foremost, I have to talk about how hilarious my
- 9:55Speaker 3: family was about me going to the Arthur Finlay College.
- 9:59Speaker 3: They called it because I arrived on Halloween. That was
- 10:04Speaker 3: my first day there.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Oh may.
- 10:07Speaker 3: They wanted to give me all of the Hogwarts T
- 10:10Speaker 3: shirts and the hats and the whole get up. Oh
- 10:12Speaker 3: they made fun of me. It was hilarious. We all
- 10:15Speaker 3: make light of this. And so pulling up to the college,
- 10:20Speaker 3: So first off, I'm going out of the country for
- 10:23Speaker 3: the first time ever by myself, okay, and I'm going
- 10:28Speaker 3: to going to England. I got there, I had the
- 10:32Speaker 3: wrong adapters. I'm like, what am I gonna do? And
- 10:35Speaker 3: then cell phones weren't what they are today. Twenty years ago.
- 10:39Speaker 3: So I was like, oh my gosh, this huge place
- 10:44Speaker 3: and I found Chinatown in the middle of London and
- 10:47Speaker 3: then eventually made my way to the college and just
- 10:52Speaker 3: walking into this and it is a castle. Just walking
- 10:57Speaker 3: into this massive structure was just mind blowing to me.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I'd never seen anything like this in the States. And
- 11:08Speaker 3: then being around other people that like, you didn't have
- 11:12Speaker 3: to explain yourself, you didn't have to explain what you
- 11:16Speaker 3: were feeling, what you were said like they just got
- 11:19Speaker 3: it and you can just talk in terms of what
- 11:22Speaker 3: you're feeling and experiencing without explaining all of the background
- 11:27Speaker 3: work of it. And it was and it brings tears
- 11:32Speaker 3: in my eyes just thinking about it, because it made
- 11:35Speaker 3: me feel like I was at home.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and coming home to yourself.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Yes, exactly exactly, And it made me feel so supported
- 11:47Speaker 3: and understood. And the teacher that I had over there,
- 11:52Speaker 3: her my very first mediumistic teacher was the famous Mavis Patilla.
- 11:59Speaker 3: And in the medium world, the English spiritualist mediums are
- 12:05Speaker 3: the top tier. And my first ever teacher was the
- 12:10Speaker 3: best teacher that ever walked this planet. With Mavis Patilla,
- 12:15Speaker 3: she was the most amazing teacher. She nurtured me and
- 12:21Speaker 3: helped me feel comfortable in sharing what I was feeling
- 12:25Speaker 3: in the reading. And without her teaching me first, I
- 12:30Speaker 3: don't know where I would be now, but I'm so
- 12:33Speaker 3: grateful to her for that.
- 12:35Speaker 1: That's beautiful.
- 12:36Speaker 2: That is beautiful, kid, Go ahead.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, I'd like to back up
- 12:41Speaker 1: just a little bit because imagine someone turning on the
- 12:44Speaker 1: podcast and they're like, I don't even know what a
- 12:46Speaker 1: medium is. Yes, maybe just express in general terms. You
- 12:52Speaker 1: know what a medium does, and a medium is experiencing
- 12:56Speaker 1: and that kind of thing. That'd be awesome even for me.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I'd like to know about that.
- 13:00Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah, So I'm a psychic medium and spiritual
- 13:04Speaker 3: life coach. So the term psychic medium or medium, the
- 13:09Speaker 3: term medium means that you can communicate with people that
- 13:13Speaker 3: have crossed over to the other side, that have gone
- 13:16Speaker 3: to heaven or you say, a different dimension, whatever word
- 13:19Speaker 3: you want to plug in. I use heaven. But you
- 13:22Speaker 3: can communicate with loved ones that have crossed over. You
- 13:26Speaker 3: can communicate with guides and with angels as well. Now,
- 13:30Speaker 3: a psychic is different. A psychic can tune into the
- 13:35Speaker 3: here and now, the present, the past, and the future,
- 13:39Speaker 3: and they can predict things that are going to happen
- 13:42Speaker 3: in your life. Not all psychics are mediums, but all
- 13:46Speaker 3: mediums are psychics.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, okay, that's really good to know.
- 13:50Speaker 1: You're really good.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, very interesting.
- 13:54Speaker 2: And I would imagine that it's like, and I just
- 13:58Speaker 2: have this feeling like it it mus start, you said,
- 14:01Speaker 2: like I'm lit on fire. So does it start as
- 14:03Speaker 2: this small flame? And then as you fan it, as
- 14:06Speaker 2: you become familiar with it, it grows and it grows,
- 14:09Speaker 2: and it just becomes part of who you are, or
- 14:12Speaker 2: you recognize it was always part of who you were.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Absolutely, you recognize that it was always there. So I'm
- 14:19Speaker 3: what you call a natural medium. And what that means
- 14:24Speaker 3: is that it was passed down in my bloodline on
- 14:28Speaker 3: both sides of my family. Mind you, and my mediumistic
- 14:32Speaker 3: ability happens so naturally that I didn't know what was
- 14:38Speaker 3: mediumistic and what was me And so it all happens
- 14:42Speaker 3: so naturally and so in the flow that it's hard
- 14:44Speaker 3: to separate the two because it is who you are, right.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And did your I'm sorry, sweet, we're both so eager
- 14:51Speaker 2: to ask questions. Did you what you said? It came
- 14:55Speaker 2: down through both families. Did you have anyone who was
- 14:58Speaker 2: a practicing medium that you knew about as you were
- 15:01Speaker 2: growing up?
- 15:02Speaker 1: He took my question, okay, good, we were.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Thinking along the same lines two birds of a feather
- 15:08Speaker 2: m me exactly.
- 15:09Speaker 3: But yeah, that would have been helpful, don't you think.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, oh, of course I have this talent.
- 15:15Speaker 2: My my aunt Mabel was this way or something.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Absolutely that would have been lovely, But those stories didn't
- 15:23Speaker 3: come out for quite a few years after I was
- 15:25Speaker 3: a practicing medium. Oh wow, And and it was interesting
- 15:32Speaker 3: because or no, I don't want to say a few
- 15:34Speaker 3: years after I was a practicing medium, but it was.
- 15:37Speaker 3: It was very much all at the same time. I
- 15:39Speaker 3: remember having hosting Christmas and having my family in town,
- 15:44Speaker 3: and I remember telling them that I think my brother
- 15:48Speaker 3: is psychic, because there were a couple of instances where
- 15:53Speaker 3: he called me when I was in a pickle and
- 15:56Speaker 3: I was like, there's no why are you calling me?
- 15:59Speaker 3: He was like, I felt that you needed something. Are
- 16:01Speaker 3: you okay? So I'm telling my family about this. My
- 16:05Speaker 3: dad looks at my aunt. My aunt looks at my dad,
- 16:08Speaker 3: and they're like, should we tell them? And we're like,
- 16:10Speaker 3: tell us what. And then the stories came out about
- 16:14Speaker 3: my grandmother and telling us that she would know things
- 16:20Speaker 3: before they would happen. There's stories of her. This is
- 16:24Speaker 3: the famous one. Her and my grandfather went to bed.
- 16:28Speaker 3: My grandmother sprung out of bed in the middle of
- 16:32Speaker 3: the night at like two am, and she heard ambulance
- 16:37Speaker 3: sirens and she woke up my grandfather. He didn't hear
- 16:41Speaker 3: the sirens, and she said, Anthony's been in a car wreck.
- 16:45Speaker 3: And that's my father. Anthony's been in a car wreck.
- 16:48Speaker 3: We have to go to the hospital. They rushed down
- 16:50Speaker 3: to the hospital. There my dad is. He was in
- 16:53Speaker 3: a horrible car wreck.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Wow.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And so these stories started to play out. They started
- 17:01Speaker 3: telling me more and more and more. Not all at
- 17:03Speaker 3: that first meeting, but over the years the stories started
- 17:07Speaker 3: trickling out. So then when I created my business and
- 17:11Speaker 3: I started doing readings and teachings, that's when my family
- 17:16Speaker 3: all started flocking to my workshops. Now we have two
- 17:19Speaker 3: working mediums in the family from that so it was
- 17:24Speaker 3: kind of like God gave me this fire and the
- 17:28Speaker 3: ripple effect woke up the rest of my family members.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Now they were spiritual before I was, Don't get me wrong,
- 17:35Speaker 3: They definitely guided me on my path, but it was
- 17:39Speaker 3: almost by me doing it, it instigated them of oh,
- 17:44Speaker 3: this is who I've always been. Now that she's doing it,
- 17:48Speaker 3: we feel comfortable and now we're doing it too. But
- 17:51Speaker 3: they did it first one thousand percent, but not professionally
- 17:56Speaker 3: in the way that they do it now. It's been
- 17:59Speaker 3: beautiful to see my family members reach out there's something
- 18:04Speaker 3: to this, you know.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Wow, that's beautiful giving them permission right to step into
- 18:10Speaker 2: their gifts.
- 18:12Speaker 1: You know. I think the way I kind of see
- 18:15Speaker 1: the people who work in the work that you do
- 18:17Speaker 1: is they're like these pioneers. They're they're going out there
- 18:21Speaker 1: before we've all we all have this realization. We need
- 18:25Speaker 1: to all have this realization that we can tap into
- 18:28Speaker 1: that world you're talking about. Every single human I believe
- 18:31Speaker 1: can tap into that world. And that's why we honor
- 18:35Speaker 1: people like you that come into that. You know, it
- 18:36Speaker 1: can be the woo woo and you know you're right
- 18:39Speaker 1: in a broom and you know all that stuff that
- 18:41Speaker 1: people try to put it in this box. The reality
- 18:44Speaker 1: is is they're tapping into this other like you said,
- 18:47Speaker 1: into this other dimension, into heaven, into the space where
- 18:52Speaker 1: that energy exists all around us, and it's there. It's
- 18:55Speaker 1: it's how I think we communicate it in the beginning,
- 18:58Speaker 1: but we forgot me too, we forgot how. And now
- 19:02Speaker 1: now we're starting to see that again. So people like
- 19:04Speaker 1: your pioneers into taking us to our inner knowing within
- 19:08Speaker 1: us and listening to that space. So speak to that
- 19:10Speaker 1: a little bit and how how you feel about that?
- 19:13Speaker 1: What the hell that resonates or doesn't resonate?
- 19:16Speaker 3: So first, thank you for calling us a pioneer. That's
- 19:20Speaker 3: very humbling. I always like to say, I'm just the
- 19:23Speaker 3: person holding the flashlight, well the light on the on
- 19:26Speaker 3: the dark path, and I lead them forward this way.
- 19:31Speaker 3: But I will, but I will speak to when I
- 19:34Speaker 3: first began, there was myself in one other medium in
- 19:37Speaker 3: town in Louisville that that really paved the way for
- 19:41Speaker 3: this city and her and I would, you know, host
- 19:46Speaker 3: events and do readings and try to, you know, help
- 19:51Speaker 3: as many people as possible. And it's been an amazing
- 19:56Speaker 3: experience of guiding and helping other men become who they
- 20:01Speaker 3: are and help them create the ripple effect in their
- 20:05Speaker 3: own communities, you know. And I always say, there's there's
- 20:11Speaker 3: so many people like I'm not everybody's medium. I'm not
- 20:14Speaker 3: going to work for everybody. We have to resonate with
- 20:17Speaker 3: one another, and so it's important to have other mediums
- 20:21Speaker 3: with a different type of vibration that that can affect
- 20:25Speaker 3: other people that I can't, and together we raise the
- 20:29Speaker 3: consciousness and so it really is really is a group
- 20:34Speaker 3: effort amen of doing.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That that's beautiful.
- 20:38Speaker 1: It's like we're all tuning forks. Yeah, and you run
- 20:41Speaker 1: into someone who's vibrating at the same tone and so
- 20:44Speaker 1: you're able to tap into what you're talking about.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I love that, yeah, absolutely, But I will tell you
- 20:50Speaker 3: along the journey one of my biggest lessons of healing
- 20:55Speaker 3: for me is not needing the the want or the
- 21:00Speaker 3: need of having validation from people, sure, or being a
- 21:04Speaker 3: people pleaser of you know, as long as I feel
- 21:08Speaker 3: happy and content and peaceful in my life and with
- 21:12Speaker 3: my God, then that's what That's what matters, you know,
- 21:16Speaker 3: especially in those early years where people would be like,
- 21:20Speaker 3: you're doing what right? But I've also been very very
- 21:24Speaker 3: blessed in this community where I've always been very loved,
- 21:28Speaker 3: very accepted. I've not had too much controversy, but controversy
- 21:35Speaker 3: comes no matter what you handle it, you know, in
- 21:38Speaker 3: the best way that you can, with non judgment and
- 21:41Speaker 3: sending love everybody's way. You know.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Well, well, do you mind telling us a little bit about,
- 21:48Speaker 2: you know, kind of how that process works, Like do
- 21:50Speaker 2: people all over the world find you? And then how
- 21:53Speaker 2: do you prepare for that kind of engagement or conversation
- 21:58Speaker 2: with someone that you either have met or have never
- 22:01Speaker 2: met before. Is there something that just you could share
- 22:05Speaker 2: that so that people understand it. It takes away some
- 22:08Speaker 2: of the fear that perhaps people feel for them to
- 22:11Speaker 2: realize just how it is that tuning process, that vibrational exchange.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so it's really interesting. When I first started, obviously,
- 22:21Speaker 3: like my clientele was very Louisville, Kentucky based, and then
- 22:25Speaker 3: as I branched out, I do have clients all over
- 22:28Speaker 3: the world, and I do work with interpreters to help
- 22:33Speaker 3: me get into those readings. And I have a great
- 22:36Speaker 3: interpreter that helps me with various different languages and so
- 22:40Speaker 3: we get on zoom, he interprets I read, and it's
- 22:45Speaker 3: always a fun experience in doing that with different cultures.
- 22:50Speaker 3: And every single time I'm like, I wish I could
- 22:54Speaker 3: be like Edgar Casey and put all of these books
- 22:57Speaker 3: under my pillow and know the information when I you know,
- 23:01Speaker 3: so I can learn all these languages, so I can
- 23:04Speaker 3: read for everybody.
- 23:05Speaker 2: You know.
- 23:07Speaker 3: But uh, but yeah, so the process of getting a reading,
- 23:15Speaker 3: my process for prepping myself is is a lot. I
- 23:20Speaker 3: will say that. I will say that, uh. And I
- 23:24Speaker 3: only say this because I had the privilege of staying
- 23:27Speaker 3: with my mother for a couple of months two years ago,
- 23:32Speaker 3: and she brought this up to me, and she goes,
- 23:36Speaker 3: you never miss a day, do you? And I said, no,
- 23:39Speaker 3: I don't. And she goes, you really do a lot
- 23:42Speaker 3: to prep yourself to be of service, and I said, yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 3: it's very important to me. So I do have a
- 23:50Speaker 3: daily schedule of things that I do to prep my mind, body, spirit,
- 23:55Speaker 3: so that I'm like this all the time, so that
- 23:58Speaker 3: it's not just prepping right before a reading, but I'm
- 24:02Speaker 3: always in prep mode of taking care of myself. So
- 24:07Speaker 3: I have my rituals. I sit down with my tear
- 24:11Speaker 3: coffee every morning, I light a candle to open up
- 24:14Speaker 3: my vessel for more light. I journal for about an
- 24:18Speaker 3: hour to an hour and a half and contact my
- 24:23Speaker 3: angels that way and journal with my angels and then
- 24:27Speaker 3: you have to add in breath work and working out.
- 24:29Speaker 3: So then I either do yoga or I go lifting
- 24:34Speaker 3: and prep my body that way, and I get the
- 24:36Speaker 3: breath and the motion going because that's super important as well.
- 24:41Speaker 3: I used to have to prep for my readings, and
- 24:44Speaker 3: I used to prep the night before because this is
- 24:46Speaker 3: the spiritualist way. I used to sit in meditation the
- 24:51Speaker 3: night before, and it's called sitting in the Power of Meditation.
- 24:54Speaker 3: You can find one on YouTube. They're all by English mediums,
- 24:58Speaker 3: and it's a basically, it's a meditation to fill up
- 25:01Speaker 3: your spiritual gas tank so that you have enough energy
- 25:04Speaker 3: to read for the next day. So I used to
- 25:07Speaker 3: do that really diligently, but my practices now fuel fuel
- 25:12Speaker 3: me perfectly. So when a person comes in for a reading,
- 25:17Speaker 3: I always try to ease their fears. First. I'm going
- 25:20Speaker 3: to talk to you a little bit and let you
- 25:22Speaker 3: know that I'm a human being and I'm not too
- 25:24Speaker 3: woo woo. That's important. Then I also express to them
- 25:29Speaker 3: my spirituality and how I do this because people in
- 25:34Speaker 3: their spirituality is very personal, right, and I read for
- 25:39Speaker 3: born again Christians. I read for people that practice Judaism.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I mean all religions. So I speak to all religions,
- 25:48Speaker 3: but I tell them right up front, I'm going to
- 25:50Speaker 3: use the word God and angels. If those words don't
- 25:54Speaker 3: resonate with you, plug in whatever you want, but those
- 25:56Speaker 3: are the words I'm going to use, yep, right, you know.
- 25:59Speaker 3: And then I prep them for the reading of what
- 26:02Speaker 3: to expect. This is exactly how I read. This is
- 26:06Speaker 3: what to expect in a reading. And I give them
- 26:08Speaker 3: everything up front so that they can just sit and
- 26:11Speaker 3: relax and take it all in.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Hm. I love that.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's really beautiful, and I love that it's it's
- 26:18Speaker 2: not an event before reading. It is your way of living. Yes,
- 26:24Speaker 2: that really resonates with me. It's something that is just
- 26:28Speaker 2: in your every waking breath, right that it's something that
- 26:32Speaker 2: you're always preparing and honoring within yourself.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Absolutely, that's really beautiful at my heart and soul. It
- 26:41Speaker 3: is to be of service, and it is the epitome
- 26:45Speaker 3: of mediumship, or the process of mediumship is getting yourself
- 26:50Speaker 3: out of the way so that God and your angels
- 26:53Speaker 3: can give you the messages that come straight through you
- 26:56Speaker 3: and channel straight through you. So it is a process
- 27:00Speaker 3: of getting yourself out of the way. And it's not
- 27:03Speaker 3: about you, and it's not about you know, creating an
- 27:06Speaker 3: event in all of this before reading. And I think
- 27:11Speaker 3: that that differentiates a lot of mediums of you. Either
- 27:15Speaker 3: you know, you walk the talk, or you don't. You
- 27:18Speaker 3: live this as your life or or you don't. And
- 27:21Speaker 3: that doesn't mean that you're a good or a bad medium,
- 27:23Speaker 3: it's just you know, the difference of of where you
- 27:28Speaker 3: are in your life path.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I love that.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah, that's really beautiful.
- 27:32Speaker 1: That really resonates with me because in the work that
- 27:35Speaker 1: I've been doing it involves music. And one of the
- 27:39Speaker 1: mentors that I worked with, one of the ones that
- 27:41Speaker 1: I have the most respect for and I probably learned
- 27:44Speaker 1: the most from. That's what he used to say, get
- 27:46Speaker 1: out of the way and let it play because we
- 27:50Speaker 1: because we don't play music from a place of something
- 27:54Speaker 1: that's already created, We get out of the way, we
- 27:57Speaker 1: go to the place where the music plays, I call it,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and then we just start to play. And as we
- 28:02Speaker 1: started to have that experience with other people, it was
- 28:05Speaker 1: profound because it was just like such a pure how
- 28:09Speaker 1: does this even exist? And it doesn't exist unless we
- 28:13Speaker 1: all do what you're talking about. We keep ourselves in
- 28:16Speaker 1: this place of a higher vibration by having whatever our
- 28:20Speaker 1: practices are not meaning we're perfect people, but we realize
- 28:24Speaker 1: the importance of keeping yourself and what you're doing in
- 28:27Speaker 1: a high vibration and keeping your life in alignment with
- 28:30Speaker 1: that which allows the channel to open, or whatever you
- 28:35Speaker 1: want to call it, whatever words you want to say.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I think it's beautiful.
- 28:38Speaker 3: One thousand percent, and you hit the nail on the head.
- 28:41Speaker 3: You get it, You absolutely get it. You have to
- 28:44Speaker 3: get yourself out of the way to do this, to
- 28:48Speaker 3: do this kind of work and be I don't want
- 28:51Speaker 3: to say selfless, but to more so, just be of service. Sure,
- 28:57Speaker 3: there can't there can't be. And of course boundaries come
- 29:00Speaker 3: into play. You have to have healthy boundaries. But to
- 29:03Speaker 3: be of service not about you, right, you know, it's
- 29:06Speaker 3: about just being with the person.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question because I've had this
- 29:12Speaker 1: experience myself, because I'll do sound healing work for people.
- 29:16Speaker 1: But if I'm in a place where I come into
- 29:17Speaker 1: a sound healing and you know that life is life, right,
- 29:21Speaker 1: so you'd never know when you know, right before a
- 29:24Speaker 1: sound healing you get or a channeling or a psychic reading,
- 29:29Speaker 1: something happens that kind of gets you out of your
- 29:32Speaker 1: alignment or whatever, and then you go, you got to
- 29:36Speaker 1: do it, you got to go through with it, you
- 29:38Speaker 1: got to continue. For myself, when that's happened, I feel
- 29:43Speaker 1: depleted when it's over. That's just the way I feel.
- 29:48Speaker 2: For me.
- 29:50Speaker 1: When I'm in a space where I'm nothing like that's
- 29:52Speaker 1: going on, I don't feel depleted at all. In fact,
- 29:55Speaker 1: I feel like elevated. That's kind of how I tell
- 29:59Speaker 1: the difference of where I'm Maybe can you speak to
- 30:01Speaker 1: that a little bit in some of the experiences you
- 30:03Speaker 1: may have had along that line.
- 30:06Speaker 3: I thank you for saying that, because I've had that
- 30:09Speaker 3: experience also where something kind of throws me off and
- 30:13Speaker 3: it drains my energy. But I've also had the opposite
- 30:18Speaker 3: happen as well. I remember when my aunt passed away.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Two days later, I had a huge event and it
- 30:27Speaker 3: was like the biggest event I had planned in my career.
- 30:31Speaker 3: And I had about thirty students coming in for a
- 30:34Speaker 3: mediumship class, and I was like, how am I going
- 30:37Speaker 3: to teach this mediumship class? I am severely grieving, and
- 30:42Speaker 3: I was, and I sat with it and I said, Okay,
- 30:46Speaker 3: I can either cancel this event and feel awful about it,
- 30:50Speaker 3: or I can go and do the event and see
- 30:53Speaker 3: how it goes. I went and did the event. I
- 30:56Speaker 3: taught the class. I did it, and it was one
- 30:59Speaker 3: of the most powerful classes that I ever taught. But
- 31:03Speaker 3: here's why. I was vulnerable and I was raw. So
- 31:11Speaker 3: all of my faculties, right, like, all of my oh
- 31:16Speaker 3: I care too much, my fear, my, this, my that,
- 31:19Speaker 3: all of that was out the window. I was at
- 31:21Speaker 3: my raws, my purest and I was just letting it rip,
- 31:25Speaker 3: you know. And it was, Oh, it was awesome. It
- 31:30Speaker 3: was so good.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel that that's great. Yes, any experiences where
- 31:36Speaker 1: it was the other way, yes, Okay, I'm not letting
- 31:41Speaker 1: me off the hook. Sorry, No, oh.
- 31:43Speaker 3: No, I'm glad we're diving into this. Okay. So I
- 31:48Speaker 3: so this is another event situation. I used to do
- 31:51Speaker 3: an event called Wine and Spirits and I would get
- 31:55Speaker 3: mediums from So at this event, I had two local
- 31:59Speaker 3: media and then I brought two other mediums in that
- 32:03Speaker 3: lived in different states. Okay, and one of the mediums
- 32:07Speaker 3: that lived in town. She was a mentoring student of
- 32:12Speaker 3: mine and she I had called her right before the event.
- 32:17Speaker 3: I felt something weird, something was off, and I could
- 32:21Speaker 3: feel that something was off the whole event. I couldn't
- 32:26Speaker 3: put my finger on it. It was weird, it was funky,
- 32:30Speaker 3: it didn't feel good, and I struggled through the whole event. Now,
- 32:34Speaker 3: the audience had a great time. They everybody got messages,
- 32:39Speaker 3: there were tears, there were laughed The event was great,
- 32:42Speaker 3: thank God. But me, I was worried the whole event.
- 32:47Speaker 3: I was waiting for the shoe to drop. And the
- 32:51Speaker 3: next day I got that mentoring student reached out to me,
- 32:58Speaker 3: gave me some disturbing news, and from that point on,
- 33:02Speaker 3: it took me out for weeks weeks. There was a little,
- 33:09Speaker 3: a little betrayal element, uh in that communication and from
- 33:15Speaker 3: that event, and that I mean it took me out
- 33:18Speaker 3: for weeks. It probably took me out for three weeks. Wow,
- 33:22Speaker 3: And I didn't do that type of event again for
- 33:25Speaker 3: three years.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Oh wow, uh huh.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Yeah, So yeah, it happens. But also I look at
- 33:33Speaker 3: it like this, The universe wanted me to go in
- 33:36Speaker 3: a different direction, and so I felt that way because
- 33:42Speaker 3: I wanted to go over here and they wanted me
- 33:44Speaker 3: to go over there. So it took me a little
- 33:47Speaker 3: bit to get recalibrated you know, right, Yes, sometimes your
- 33:54Speaker 3: energy just goes a little wonky and gets the best
- 34:01Speaker 3: of you and it takes a little bit to reget
- 34:03Speaker 3: to get recalibrated like human.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and then like you said, once you do, you
- 34:09Speaker 2: have clarity then about that recalibration as to where you're going. Yes,
- 34:14Speaker 2: so that's really beautiful too.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm intrigued by your mentorship and the classes that you
- 34:19Speaker 2: give when people how do people approach you? You obviously
- 34:24Speaker 2: have this process or this training that you offer, and
- 34:28Speaker 2: do people come that already know or do they reach
- 34:31Speaker 2: out to you first to explore that how does that
- 34:35Speaker 2: look for that mentoring and that training ground to really
- 34:40Speaker 2: really be fertile for people.
- 34:43Speaker 3: So I do have certification processes. So I do have
- 34:47Speaker 3: certification classes that are between six and twelve week For
- 34:53Speaker 3: that type of thing, you, I would have to know you.
- 34:57Speaker 3: You would have had to have gotten readings with me
- 34:59Speaker 3: or done and done trainings with me. We would have
- 35:03Speaker 3: to have a rapport to then go through that certification process. Oh,
- 35:08Speaker 3: by the way, you don't have to be certified to
- 35:10Speaker 3: be a medium, but a lot of mediums like that
- 35:13Speaker 3: credential because it makes them feel more educated. It gives
- 35:18Speaker 3: them something concrete to show your clients, and I love it.
- 35:21Speaker 3: It's great training. It's wonderful because a lot of mediums
- 35:25Speaker 3: there's nothing to validate our education, and so it helps
- 35:30Speaker 3: us feel more content in that area. But as far
- 35:33Speaker 3: as my regular on glow going classes that I have
- 35:38Speaker 3: once a month or every other month, or my development
- 35:41Speaker 3: groups things of that, they just they find me one
- 35:45Speaker 3: way or another. They might find me on Google, they
- 35:48Speaker 3: might find me on social media. It might be word
- 35:51Speaker 3: of mouth, and then uh, and then and then the
- 35:55Speaker 3: stalking happens of Okay, I'm gonna watch this trick on
- 35:58Speaker 3: social media and see what she's all about, and then
- 36:02Speaker 3: maybe I'll try a class of hers. So there's always
- 36:05Speaker 3: there's always a miraculous story on the other end, is
- 36:09Speaker 3: what I have found. Uh. And I always ask people,
- 36:13Speaker 3: regardless if it's a reading or a workshop, I'm like,
- 36:16Speaker 3: how did you? If I don't know them, I'm like,
- 36:17Speaker 3: how'd you find me? And they're always like, well, it's
- 36:20Speaker 3: the most miraculous story.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's beautiful. That's really beautiful.
- 36:28Speaker 3: So I always love asking that because they're all very
- 36:32Speaker 3: unusual stories of how I came into their their eyesight,
- 36:36Speaker 3: and it never surprises me. I'm like, where there's a will,
- 36:40Speaker 3: there's a way, and you were always guided to where
- 36:43Speaker 3: you need to be, right.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah, even even with us, that's how it happened.
- 36:47Speaker 3: You know.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Our my nephew who runs and produces our show, actually
- 36:52Speaker 2: suggested that to us that we, you know, have you
- 36:55Speaker 2: on and explore this conversation. And he lives in Kentucky,
- 36:59Speaker 2: and he lives in Kentucky, and it was just and
- 37:02Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, that sounds wonderful. Let's let's do that.
- 37:06Speaker 2: And so, you know, otherwise I don't know how we
- 37:09Speaker 2: would have found found you. So it is rather miraculous.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it blows my mind the amount of people that
- 37:20Speaker 3: have found me on YouTube. Now recently, it had been
- 37:24Speaker 3: like a decade since I had posted anything on YouTube,
- 37:27Speaker 3: and I will say all of my Canadian clients have
- 37:30Speaker 3: all found me on YouTube.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Isn't it interesting?
- 37:33Speaker 3: You know, like I haven't posted on there in a decade.
- 37:36Speaker 3: How did you find me? Like? How did that come
- 37:38Speaker 3: up in the algorithm?
- 37:39Speaker 2: You know?
- 37:39Speaker 1: Yeah, everything changed in Canada one day.
- 37:42Speaker 2: And oh that's that's amazing.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Yes, So your your life as a medium obviously has
- 37:52Speaker 1: been has given you a lot. Yeah, tell us a
- 37:56Speaker 1: little bit more about you know, other things that you
- 37:58Speaker 1: do beyond that, I mean, how do you how do
- 38:02Speaker 1: you You're not doing this twenty four to seven, seven
- 38:05Speaker 1: days a week, I'm assuming. So what are the kind
- 38:08Speaker 1: of things that you enjoy doing in your life that
- 38:10Speaker 1: kind of keep you grounded and keep you in that
- 38:12Speaker 1: space that feed you.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I love that question. So, prior to all of this
- 38:20Speaker 3: mediumistic stuff, I was trained as a yoga teacher, and
- 38:25Speaker 3: prior to that, I did hair and makeup for a
- 38:29Speaker 3: television show the Food Network, and and so I have
- 38:34Speaker 3: a lot of background and a lot of different things.
- 38:38Speaker 3: But I love spending time with my family first and foremost.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I love spending time with my fiance and his family
- 38:45Speaker 3: and my family members, and we're all very close knit.
- 38:50Speaker 3: But as far as staying grounded, I do yoga and
- 38:52Speaker 3: I walk daily, and that's something near and dear to
- 38:57Speaker 3: my heart. Yoga enhances intuition, for sure, but it's I'm
- 39:04Speaker 3: an introvert. Like if you see me on social media
- 39:08Speaker 3: or if you meet me in person, you'll be like,
- 39:10Speaker 3: she's not an introvert, But I am. I am so
- 39:14Speaker 3: introverted to my soul of anything that is quiet, and
- 39:18Speaker 3: by myself. I love so yoga, solo, quiet by myself, walking,
- 39:25Speaker 3: I go by myself, it's quiet, all of those things.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I love journaling. But I'm also a writer as well.
- 39:32Speaker 3: So right now I'm working on a children's book series
- 39:38Speaker 3: to teach kids about grief. And that's a miraculous story
- 39:45Speaker 3: in itself of how that was channeled. My little fur
- 39:51Speaker 3: baby passed away two years ago August, and the January
- 39:58Speaker 3: after she passed away, I went to this event and
- 40:03Speaker 3: there was a healer there and her name was Jody,
- 40:07Speaker 3: and we had been Facebook friends, but I never met
- 40:11Speaker 3: this person in person. And one of my best girlfriends
- 40:14Speaker 3: is like, hey, let's go to this New Year's thing
- 40:16Speaker 3: and I'm like, yeah, okay, i'll go. And so we
- 40:19Speaker 3: go and she's like, I'm going to get a healing
- 40:21Speaker 3: from this person, Jody, do you want one? And I'm like,
- 40:24Speaker 3: you know, as a medium, I'm like no, I'm okay,
- 40:26Speaker 3: Like I don't want anybody messing with my energy. I
- 40:28Speaker 3: got it, and I was like, but you get one.
- 40:32Speaker 3: So finally it was her turn. She's going to walk
- 40:35Speaker 3: in and she grabs me and she's like, you're coming
- 40:38Speaker 3: with me. I'm not going in by myself. And I'm like,
- 40:41Speaker 3: You're best friend's a medium and you're scared to go
- 40:43Speaker 3: see a healer by yourself. So we walk in the
- 40:48Speaker 3: room and I see this woman and she looks at me,
- 40:53Speaker 3: and I look at her, and it was like kindred spirits.
- 40:57Speaker 3: I knew her and she knew me, but we had
- 41:01Speaker 3: never met. And she started healing my friend. And the
- 41:06Speaker 3: moment she rubbed her hands together and then placed her
- 41:10Speaker 3: hands on her shoulders, I began to sob. It was
- 41:17Speaker 3: and I was like, this is embarrassing. I'm like, she's
- 41:21Speaker 3: getting the healing, and I just got so emotional and
- 41:26Speaker 3: I sobbed the whole entire time. And we left the event.
- 41:31Speaker 3: I went home, and I was home for about fifteen
- 41:36Speaker 3: minutes and I started sobbing again, and I didn't stop
- 41:40Speaker 3: crying for four hours. And during that four hours, I
- 41:47Speaker 3: got my journal and my pen out, and I channeled
- 41:49Speaker 3: a whole entire children's book created around my fur baby
- 41:54Speaker 3: opal teaching kids about the feeling of grief and what
- 42:00Speaker 3: it's like.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Wow and wow.
- 42:03Speaker 3: It was so cathartic and so beautiful of an experience
- 42:09Speaker 3: that I was like, maybe this is something that I'm
- 42:12Speaker 3: meant to do also, and so I've been so I've
- 42:15Speaker 3: been working on that for fun. And last, but not least,
- 42:20Speaker 3: this is the most fun thing. Myself and my business partner,
- 42:26Speaker 3: Kim Littrall, we started a podcast this past August. That
- 42:30Speaker 3: was when our first episode aired, and we are so
- 42:35Speaker 3: it is so fun and so thrilling and so different
- 42:39Speaker 3: from everything else that I do. Like, technically it's work,
- 42:44Speaker 3: but it's not work. That's like, that's my fun. I
- 42:47Speaker 3: get to like get on a mic and talk about
- 42:49Speaker 3: whatever I want to talk about. It's fantastic.
- 42:51Speaker 1: That's cool. So that's very cool to be able to
- 42:55Speaker 1: talk about all that stuff.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Very cool.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely does she Does she work in this realm too?
- 43:02Speaker 2: Or is she a medium as well?
- 43:04Speaker 3: No? No, no, no, not at all. Miraculous story here.
- 43:10Speaker 3: So my partner, Kim and I know each other through
- 43:15Speaker 3: her sister, and her sister was a very dear friend
- 43:19Speaker 3: of mine, knew her for twenty years, loved her, and
- 43:24Speaker 3: she had a tragic ATV accident and passed away, and
- 43:30Speaker 3: so Kim and I started becoming closer and closer throughout
- 43:34Speaker 3: all of that, and we were together one day and
- 43:37Speaker 3: she was talking about how she wanted to start a
- 43:40Speaker 3: podcast or how she had thought about it, and I
- 43:44Speaker 3: was like, you know what, I've always wanted to do
- 43:46Speaker 3: a podcast also, but I don't know the technical stuff.
- 43:49Speaker 3: I can't do, like I just want to show up.
- 43:51Speaker 3: And she's like, well, I know all the technical stuff.
- 43:55Speaker 3: And I was like, huh okay, And she was like,
- 43:58Speaker 3: do you want to start a podcast? And I said yes, absolutely,
- 44:03Speaker 3: And so her and I have I mean, we feel
- 44:07Speaker 3: this in our bones that her sister guided us two
- 44:10Speaker 3: together to create a friendship, to create this this podcast together.
- 44:16Speaker 3: And so being able to do that with Kim and
- 44:23Speaker 3: have her sister as our guardian angel through all of that,
- 44:29Speaker 3: it's just so special.
- 44:31Speaker 2: And what is the name of the podcast and sort
- 44:34Speaker 2: of your topic.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Yes, it's called the Charmed Life Project. And so I'm.
- 44:40Speaker 2: The spiritual I know great, So.
- 44:45Speaker 3: I'm the spiritual part. So I hold up the spiritual
- 44:48Speaker 3: side of things, and Kim is on the science part
- 44:53Speaker 3: of things. So she brings in the scientific evidence to
- 44:58Speaker 3: all of my spiritual things, and so it gives spirituality
- 45:02Speaker 3: a concrete basis. So we go into things like neuroplasticity
- 45:07Speaker 3: and the vagus nerve and the nervous system, and then
- 45:11Speaker 3: I come in with all of the spiritual side of things.
- 45:15Speaker 3: So it's a great it's a great blend. I learn
- 45:18Speaker 3: a lot on the podcast, and so does Kim with
- 45:23Speaker 3: our various different angles that we have.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Oh wow, that's great.
- 45:27Speaker 1: But that sounds in my language because I mean, that's
- 45:30Speaker 1: I really feel like, you know that science and spirituality
- 45:34Speaker 1: are speaking the same language with completely different words, and
- 45:38Speaker 1: neither one of them realize it from the other yet.
- 45:42Speaker 1: But it's it's it's manifesting as we speak. It's beautiful.
- 45:46Speaker 2: And listening to a podcast like the one that you're
- 45:49Speaker 2: doing brings that together, so that as listeners listen, they're like, oh,
- 45:53Speaker 2: of course that now is making sense to me. So
- 45:55Speaker 2: you open that doorway and allow that integration to start happening.
- 45:59Speaker 2: That's it's beautiful.
- 46:00Speaker 1: One of the guys that I like to listen to
- 46:03Speaker 1: and he does podcasts and stuff. His name is Robert
- 46:06Speaker 1: Edward Grant. I don't know if you've heard of him before.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I have heard of him.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So, I mean he's into stuff like I've got my
- 46:12Speaker 1: hat on here, it's got the Fibonacci sequence. Oh little
- 46:15Speaker 1: spiral in my head. But you know, he talks about
- 46:19Speaker 1: mathematics a lot, but then he goes he has this
- 46:22Speaker 1: spiritual side, he's had this spiritual awakening, and you know,
- 46:25Speaker 1: he's seeing things from both sides. And so whenever there's
- 46:30Speaker 1: something like that around, I'm definitely going to go listen
- 46:32Speaker 1: to your podcast because whenever there's something like that around,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I always want to see it because those two perspectives
- 46:38Speaker 1: are starting to harmonize, starting to come into this place
- 46:42Speaker 1: where there's more harmony right now. Lots of division, but
- 46:46Speaker 1: that's the thing that's harmonizing.
- 46:48Speaker 3: Yeah, And I couldn't agree with you more on that.
- 46:51Speaker 3: You know, when you bring in the science element to
- 46:54Speaker 3: all of these spiritual kind of subjects, it gives you
- 46:58Speaker 3: something concrete when the spiritual aspect is more fluid. And
- 47:04Speaker 3: that's something that I need in my mind also. So
- 47:09Speaker 3: I was raised by doctors and nurses and like a
- 47:13Speaker 3: lot of medical around. Like when I got up in
- 47:15Speaker 3: the morning growing up, my dad would get out the
- 47:17Speaker 3: medical charts and be like, Okay, this is where you're
- 47:20Speaker 3: you know, your nerve is there, that's why you're having
- 47:24Speaker 3: your pain there. Let's go up to the cervical spine.
- 47:27Speaker 3: So That's how I got into medical mediumship, and that's
- 47:32Speaker 3: where my basis is in medical mediumship, bringing that medical piece,
- 47:36Speaker 3: but then with Kim in the podcast, bringing more scientific evidence.
- 47:41Speaker 3: And I liked what you were saying about spirituality and
- 47:47Speaker 3: science are speaking the same They're saying the same thing,
- 47:51Speaker 3: but they're in different languages. I've been saying this for years.
- 47:55Speaker 3: It's just like, you know, when you're in a relationship.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Men are from Mars, women are from VP, every saying
- 48:00Speaker 3: the exact same thing, but you all are like, you're
- 48:03Speaker 3: not listening to me, but you're saying the same thing,
- 48:06Speaker 3: just in a different language.
- 48:08Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Well, in the in the open mindedness, it like for spirituality,
- 48:13Speaker 1: for example, the religious part or the more uh you
- 48:17Speaker 1: know out there part of the of the spiritual part
- 48:21Speaker 1: that's more about trying to figure it out, becomes super dogmatic.
- 48:25Speaker 1: And the same thing happens in science because science is
- 48:28Speaker 1: just as exclusive as religion is about being right about something,
- 48:32Speaker 1: and they don't allow further research about things that someone questions,
- 48:36Speaker 1: Oh no, it's always been that way. Well, I think
- 48:39Speaker 1: we know about this much, you know, I've got my
- 48:42Speaker 1: fingers about a quarter of an inch apart. I think
- 48:44Speaker 1: that's about how much we know as humanity about what's
- 48:47Speaker 1: really happening here. The reality is is that no one
- 48:50Speaker 1: knows and it's and.
- 48:52Speaker 3: It's okay, yeah, let's just speak.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Let's just be present and curious and curious and allow it.
- 48:58Speaker 2: You know, we're we're.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Boom, so for me, she can sell, but we're we're
- 49:10Speaker 1: not known at this point in our lives for being curious.
- 49:12Speaker 1: But you know why we came out of the hippie
- 49:15Speaker 1: generation where we got super curious. Why did we have
- 49:18Speaker 1: to shut that off and and and and not continue
- 49:23Speaker 1: to be curious when the things that are going on
- 49:25Speaker 1: with the earlier generations are they're not comfortable anymore, just
- 49:31Speaker 1: like we weren't comfortable for our parents. It's the human
- 49:34Speaker 1: human cycle. That's the way it happens. But the things
- 49:37Speaker 1: that are happening now and the awakening that's happening now
- 49:42Speaker 1: is amazing to be able to witness when we become
- 49:45Speaker 1: open and curious. If we don't become open and curious
- 49:48Speaker 1: about it, we go we can trackt and go into
- 49:51Speaker 1: this place of fear and it's like, oh, I'm going
- 49:53Speaker 1: to just turn on the news and sit here in
- 49:55Speaker 1: my chair and watch this all day and that that's it,
- 49:58Speaker 1: that's what's destroying us as a generation.
- 50:02Speaker 3: And I will so I have Boomer parents, and I
- 50:05Speaker 3: have one parent. You know, the Boomer generation is known
- 50:09Speaker 3: for that kind of fear based thought process. But I
- 50:13Speaker 3: wonderfully have two parents that were raised in that hippie generation.
- 50:19Speaker 3: And my dad awesome, awesome human being. He's very much
- 50:24Speaker 3: into the Mayans and the Peruvians and anything that's connected
- 50:30Speaker 3: to aliens and mysticism and all of that. And then
- 50:34Speaker 3: you know, you have my sweet sweet mother that's more
- 50:38Speaker 3: so like I'm just gonna worry about everybody.
- 50:43Speaker 2: And spend my energy there.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes, but it's that curiosity that I really
- 50:50Speaker 3: do love seeing and my father in that way, you know,
- 50:53Speaker 3: him and I just traveled to Peru together in June
- 50:58Speaker 3: because this was i mean his list trip and I
- 51:01Speaker 3: was like, yeah, I'll go to Peru, but as long
- 51:02Speaker 3: as we can go see a shaman while we're there,
- 51:04Speaker 3: you know, I get my spiritual plug in. And so
- 51:08Speaker 3: he wanted to see all of the different ruins and
- 51:11Speaker 3: sights and all of the different big huge rocks, and
- 51:15Speaker 3: you know, we hiked Machu Pichu, we did the whole thing.
- 51:19Speaker 3: But then we went up to the mountains with a
- 51:22Speaker 3: shaman and we did healing ceremonies and so we got
- 51:25Speaker 3: all of that aspect also. So it was really cool
- 51:29Speaker 3: to see him be in that curious mind of he's
- 51:34Speaker 3: wanted to see these things since the second grade. You know,
- 51:38Speaker 3: He's always had such a curious mind. And that's where
- 51:42Speaker 3: I get my curious mind from him. And then to
- 51:45Speaker 3: infiltrate him into my world a little bit and do
- 51:48Speaker 3: some healing ceremonies with an actual Peruvian shaman, it was
- 51:52Speaker 3: the beasneys.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Now now we know why the puzzle pieces are coming.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Of course, because we traveled in twenty sixteen to Peru.
- 52:01Speaker 1: We went to Peru and we.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Did we also visited a shaman and we actually went
- 52:07Speaker 2: with the shaman to Machu Pichu. We took a break
- 52:09Speaker 2: from ceremonies and went to Machu Pichu and then came
- 52:13Speaker 2: back and completed the trip again with more ceremonies with
- 52:17Speaker 2: the shaman before we left Peru. And that was in
- 52:19Speaker 2: October of twenty sixteen, sixteen. And it was such a
- 52:23Speaker 2: beautiful catalyst for our lives.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Life changing.
- 52:25Speaker 2: It was life changing, and it just awakened to curiosity
- 52:30Speaker 2: and knowing that neither one of us had been living
- 52:34Speaker 2: with but had always been a seed inside of us.
- 52:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Oh, I love that absolutely, And now that
- 52:41Speaker 3: you mention it, I've had that same thought process. My
- 52:45Speaker 3: dad and I have talked about this so much over
- 52:48Speaker 3: the past few months since we've gotten back of how
- 52:52Speaker 3: our lives have changed since visiting that place. The energy
- 52:56Speaker 3: in Peru is and I don't know if you all
- 52:59Speaker 3: felt this can identify this. I felt like it was
- 53:02Speaker 3: so feminine and so unconditionally loving, Yes, that I walked
- 53:09Speaker 3: away from there just soaking it up, and I want
- 53:12Speaker 3: to feel that energy again. But I've now changed things,
- 53:17Speaker 3: and my father has changed things in his everyday life
- 53:20Speaker 3: to bring more of that feminine, unconditional loving energy into
- 53:24Speaker 3: our areas and into our love. And it's a beautiful place.
- 53:28Speaker 3: I can't wait to go back.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh that's beautiful. What a beautiful synchronicity for.
- 53:33Speaker 1: That you're describing my life's work. Yes, my life's work
- 53:38Speaker 1: is to help bring balance to masculine and feminine and
- 53:42Speaker 1: it came out of that and other things in my
- 53:46Speaker 1: life and how disconnected I was from that and now
- 53:49Speaker 1: becoming more connected into that, and yeah, it's amazing.
- 53:54Speaker 3: That's really that's really really beautiful and balance the feminine
- 54:01Speaker 3: and the masculine. You know, in my world, a lot
- 54:04Speaker 3: of people are very very much tuning into healing one
- 54:09Speaker 3: side or the other. Oh, I need to heal my
- 54:12Speaker 3: feminine energy. I gotta feel I gotta heal my masculine energy.
- 54:16Speaker 3: And it's like, now you gotta heal both.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a little structure on both that you need
- 54:24Speaker 1: to heal.
- 54:25Speaker 3: But it's about the balance and and bringing light to
- 54:31Speaker 3: balancing the masculine and the feminine.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I love.
- 54:36Speaker 3: That concrete ways, I love that you're doing this work
- 54:41Speaker 3: because I feel like that's exactly what this world needs,
- 54:44Speaker 3: especially right now.
- 54:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I believe in it so much. I'm going to
- 54:49Speaker 1: show you. No one else is able to see this,
- 54:51Speaker 1: but I got one and only tattoo and that's it
- 54:54Speaker 1: right there. So it's a.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it came through a session.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Came through a reiki session with a reiki.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Master, and it's about a balance. It's about balance.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I want seeing the masculine and feminine. It's called it's
- 55:08Speaker 1: a symbol called dougu and it resonated so much with
- 55:13Speaker 1: me that I got it on my arm. I don't
- 55:17Speaker 1: know if I'll get any other tattoos, but i'd have one.
- 55:20Speaker 2: Oh, Gina, this has been delightful.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Yes, this has been absolutely wonderful. I could sit here
- 55:28Speaker 3: and talk to you guys all day. So anytime you
- 55:31Speaker 3: want me back, I'm open to coming back. Thank you.
- 55:34Speaker 2: So yes, we will come back. Absolutely, Yeah, we definitely
- 55:37Speaker 2: will have you come back. Because I was I was curious.
- 55:40Speaker 2: I don't mean to put you on the spot, but
- 55:42Speaker 2: if there was any message that you feel that is
- 55:47Speaker 2: coming through for us for you.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Yes, So it's interesting that you asked that because the
- 55:52Speaker 3: whole entire time I've been looking at you two on
- 55:55Speaker 3: the screen, I've been visualizing that butterfly that's right behind
- 55:59Speaker 3: you on your windows. Oh yeah, yep, and it keeps
- 56:02Speaker 3: on screaming at me. First and foremost, I do see
- 56:05Speaker 3: a woman guardian angel above you all. That is part
- 56:08Speaker 3: of your All's family unit. I believe this is on
- 56:11Speaker 3: the Ray's side of the family. But I feel like
- 56:14Speaker 3: this is either mother or grandmother coming through. But they
- 56:18Speaker 3: would have some kind of reference to this butterfly. Either
- 56:22Speaker 3: they had a picture with like a dragonfly or a
- 56:25Speaker 3: butterfly on their shirt. You'll have to look through your photos,
- 56:28Speaker 3: but I believe it's your mom or your grandmother coming through,
- 56:31Speaker 3: and so the presence has been there this whole entire time.
- 56:35Speaker 3: But it's this, it's this feeling of you've already transformed,
- 56:41Speaker 3: and it's not a I'm transforming, I'm healing, I'm working
- 56:46Speaker 3: on things. No, you guys have arrived. You all have
- 56:50Speaker 3: done all of the transforming and the healing that you
- 56:53Speaker 3: need to do, and now it's time to shine and
- 56:56Speaker 3: show your beauty and flutter and flow. So there's your message.
- 57:02Speaker 2: That's beautiful. That's really beautiful. Thank you.
- 57:05Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 57:07Speaker 1: So we will put in the show notes all the
- 57:10Speaker 1: ways to get in touch with.
- 57:11Speaker 2: You, and the link for the Charmed Life Project podcast.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I would love to I'm going to become a new
- 57:18Speaker 2: listener to that.
- 57:19Speaker 3: Oh great, thank you so much.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I will too. That's that's speaking my language for sure.
- 57:24Speaker 2: And I have to say I'm feeling called to check
- 57:27Speaker 2: out the mentorship, so I'll be in touch, Gina.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Absolutely please reach out to me. I feel that over
- 57:35Speaker 3: the moon, over the moon, I love it.
- 57:38Speaker 2: I feel that.
- 57:38Speaker 1: So all right, so thank you again for being here.
- 57:42Speaker 1: And we will close for now, but thank.
- 57:44Speaker 2: You until next time, and there will be a next
- 57:46Speaker 2: time the time.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Thank you guys so much, bank Bye bye.
