- 1:19Speaker 1: That podcast from the Value and Podcast Network. I'm Chad Mollman,
- 1:23Speaker 1: Chief Content Officer of the Action Network. Look, the last
- 1:28Speaker 1: couple of weeks for the NFL, no matter what any
- 1:31Speaker 1: other sport tries to do, the NFL proves it's superiority.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Baseball wants to have a lockout that could created the
- 1:41Speaker 1: sport and then come up with a dramatic solution to
- 1:44Speaker 1: get the sports starting on time. Let's talk about NFL trades.
- 1:50Speaker 1: March Madness wants to start for the first time with
- 1:52Speaker 1: full tournament people in the stands, nothing interrupted. Tom Brady
- 1:57Speaker 1: is going to come back from retirement. Every single time
- 2:01Speaker 1: we're waiting. We're in between first and second round games
- 2:04Speaker 1: and the Sweet sixteen games. Oh hey, let's trade Tyreek
- 2:08Speaker 1: Hill from the Chiefs to the Dolphins. Later on the show,
- 2:14Speaker 1: our boss, our boss at the Volume Podcast Network, Colin
- 2:19Speaker 1: Coward's gonna come on and we're gonna talk about a
- 2:21Speaker 1: lot of things related to the NFL. Silent Hunter, my
- 2:25Speaker 1: co host, my companion, my compadre, might b f F.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I want to kick off that conversation a little bit
- 2:32Speaker 1: before we get into it with Colin Um, because we're
- 2:35Speaker 1: gonna talk about quarterbacks. We like the bed on Um people,
- 2:39Speaker 1: the team, the quarterbacks that we trust the most. But
- 2:43Speaker 1: also before we even do that, I'm throwing a curveball
- 2:45Speaker 1: at you right now. You've never met Colin, You've never
- 2:49Speaker 1: had a conversation with Colin? Are you nervous now? As
- 2:55Speaker 1: someone that bets hundreds of thousands of dollars? Chat? This
- 2:58Speaker 1: is just another Tuesday for your guys. I'm excited, but nervous.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Definitely not nervous hundreds of thousands of dollars. We should
- 3:06Speaker 1: definitely push Colin on what amount of money would make
- 3:10Speaker 1: him nervous to bet? And and if not an amount
- 3:14Speaker 1: of money, like, what is the equivalent of something that
- 3:18Speaker 1: does make him nervous? What does he get nervous for
- 3:20Speaker 1: in the same way that betting hundreds of thousands of
- 3:23Speaker 1: dollars would make you nervous. I honestly, I still get
- 3:27Speaker 1: nervous if I don't know the sport. Like I had
- 3:30Speaker 1: a guy gave me info on March madness. I just
- 3:33Speaker 1: put just a grain on it. I was sweating more
- 3:35Speaker 1: than I was sweating the Super Bowl. So it is
- 3:37Speaker 1: funny where it's like if you're outside your comfort zone,
- 3:40Speaker 1: that definitely affects what you're betting on. All right, well,
- 3:44Speaker 1: speaking of outside our comfort zone, the quarterback carousel in
- 3:49Speaker 1: the NFL has been mind boggling the insane, and there's
- 3:55Speaker 1: a lot of ways to think about how to vale
- 4:00Speaker 1: you what those moves have been, Right, Matt Ryan, going
- 4:04Speaker 1: from the Falcons to the Colts? Does that make the
- 4:06Speaker 1: Colts automatic contenders maybe to win the a f C South? Right?
- 4:11Speaker 1: Are they better than Tennessee? Now? Are they better than Houston?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Are they better than Jacksonville? All of a sudden, like
- 4:17Speaker 1: where is the betting opportunity? Right? Deshaun Watson to the Browns,
- 4:23Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes without Tyreek hill Um, all these things that
- 4:28Speaker 1: like we've seen changing. Who are the quarterbacks? Right now?
- 4:33Speaker 1: We're gonna ask columns too, who are the quarterbacks you
- 4:36Speaker 1: trust the most when it comes to making a bet?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Who It's such a load of question because there's so
- 4:43Speaker 1: much that goes into it. But I I know what
- 4:44Speaker 1: we have to do here, Chad. I know this is media,
- 4:46Speaker 1: but I actually told Chad before the season ended that
- 4:50Speaker 1: I had moved up Josh Allen to my number one
- 4:53Speaker 1: quarterback in my power ranking. So and my model, I
- 4:56Speaker 1: have him as a little bit higher than I had
- 4:59Speaker 1: my homes defendish the year. Now losing Tyreek Hill, there's
- 5:03Speaker 1: a little gap there. So I have Josh Allen. One
- 5:06Speaker 1: have my homes too, I would say, because again of
- 5:10Speaker 1: the movement with Green Bay, you know that's a big deal.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Like Aaron Rodgers just lost his guy about the Adams,
- 5:16Speaker 1: Like that's not just some run of the mill wide receiver,
- 5:19Speaker 1: Like these are two major weapons. So I just had
- 5:22Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes down a little bit and I went from
- 5:24Speaker 1: having Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers kind of too a
- 5:27Speaker 1: to be two. Now in the third spot, I do
- 5:30Speaker 1: have Rogers, And again it's snow shocker here. I got
- 5:33Speaker 1: Brady coming in that fourth spot. And this is when
- 5:36Speaker 1: it starts getting really tricky. I feel like everyone has
- 5:38Speaker 1: different opinions. I'm a Herbert guy. I love Herbert. I
- 5:42Speaker 1: love everything about him. I I love the coaching style
- 5:46Speaker 1: they have with them of they just letting this kid
- 5:49Speaker 1: pretty much run that team. It's fourth and fifteen. They
- 5:52Speaker 1: believe in their quarterback enough to go for it with him.
- 5:54Speaker 1: So to me, that's a big deal when you're looking
- 5:57Speaker 1: at these different quarterbacks because I did think about it
- 5:59Speaker 1: for a little while where Joe Burrow has done it,
- 6:01Speaker 1: like this guy in his second year, just went through
- 6:03Speaker 1: Super Bowl. He he kind of kind of did want
- 6:05Speaker 1: to put him in this spot, especially with the weapons
- 6:06Speaker 1: as around him. But I look at I look at
- 6:09Speaker 1: Burrow and I'm I'm good looking at his talent. I'm
- 6:12Speaker 1: just good with putting him in that six spot, so
- 6:13Speaker 1: that I would go him go Stafford. And again it's
- 6:18Speaker 1: we're getting a trick area where everyone's gonna have different opinions.
- 6:20Speaker 1: It's like, I I do think Stafford's a really good quarterback,
- 6:24Speaker 1: just on the talent level, like these other guys above him.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I just think Joe is more town. I just think
- 6:29Speaker 1: Herbert has more town. So that's one of those where
- 6:30Speaker 1: it's like, no disrespect the Stafford, but the man had
- 6:34Speaker 1: Cooper Cup, Like I think as great as Stafford is,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I do think Cooper Cup has really elevated that whole
- 6:41Speaker 1: um playing style. And as you get to the back
- 6:43Speaker 1: end here, honestly, chat I was looking through it, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: don't I don't really know how to fill it out,
- 6:47Speaker 1: Like I wanted to throw Russell Wilson there, but I
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't really know where Russell Wilson's gonna be on this
- 6:51Speaker 1: new team, and um wanting to put Deshaun Watson in there.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I don't know what he's gonna be on a new
- 6:57Speaker 1: team after sitting for an entire season. So it was
- 7:00Speaker 1: actually way tougher and I thought it was going to
- 7:02Speaker 1: be to make this top ten. But if I'm forced
- 7:04Speaker 1: to put in, i'd put those two guys in. And
- 7:07Speaker 1: you know, my my last spot, I don't know. I
- 7:11Speaker 1: know there's gonna be someone I'm missing that I didn't
- 7:13Speaker 1: think of. But to me, just looking on paper, as
- 7:16Speaker 1: much crap as I love to give him, I do
- 7:18Speaker 1: think Kyler Murray is a top ten town. So that's
- 7:20Speaker 1: where I ended up for my last quarterback I put
- 7:22Speaker 1: in there was Kyler Murray. God, it's so funny. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: made my list of the top ten quarterbacks I trust
- 7:31Speaker 1: the most right with my money, and the same thing happened.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I got to nine and I could not find a tent.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And I went back and forth on Kyler Murray because look,
- 7:45Speaker 1: he was amazing last year when he had his full
- 7:48Speaker 1: compliment of receivers right, and as soon as DeAndre Hopkins
- 7:52Speaker 1: goes down, he sort of becomes pretty mortal. And he
- 7:56Speaker 1: becomes mortal when they get into November and it's Cliff
- 7:59Speaker 1: Kingsbury and he's a coach who doesn't know how to
- 8:01Speaker 1: coach once it turns cold, even though they're playing in
- 8:06Speaker 1: the warmth of Arizona, Like you get to November, as
- 8:08Speaker 1: Matt Mitchell Is said often, and Cliff Kingsbury kind of
- 8:11Speaker 1: turns into a pumpkin. So it's so interesting that you say,
- 8:15Speaker 1: couldn't get the tent and he was sort of the
- 8:18Speaker 1: throw in tent. I felt the exact same way. I
- 8:21Speaker 1: will tell you I had Alan one, I had Mahomes too.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I had Deshaun Watson three Wow, because I think a
- 8:31Speaker 1: year away makes us forget how good this guy is,
- 8:36Speaker 1: how often he carried not very good Texans teams not
- 8:40Speaker 1: just into the playoffs, but had them in games late.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Like so many visuals I have of Deshaun Watson blowing
- 8:48Speaker 1: up someone's bet because he was able to make plays
- 8:52Speaker 1: in the final few minutes of a game that really
- 8:55Speaker 1: no one had any business making, and make throws that
- 8:57Speaker 1: know it had any business making, and so I had
- 9:01Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson really really high. Look, he's gonna have the
- 9:05Speaker 1: weapons he needs in Cleveland, just by virtue of the
- 9:07Speaker 1: fact they've got a better defense than he ever had
- 9:09Speaker 1: in Houston and a better running game then he ever
- 9:12Speaker 1: had in Houston. So to me, you know, again, we
- 9:16Speaker 1: can debate sort of the moralistic elements of having Deshaun
- 9:19Speaker 1: Watson on your team, but if he's on the team,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna judge him, and for me, he's a guy
- 9:25Speaker 1: that I trust my money. He just is You're shaking
- 9:28Speaker 1: your head. You feel like I'm convincing you that he
- 9:30Speaker 1: should be higher than where you had him. I think
- 9:32Speaker 1: I haven't properly rated just because there's a lot of
- 9:34Speaker 1: question marks around him. Again, we're about to see him
- 9:36Speaker 1: without Hopkins as well, which we just touched about how
- 9:38Speaker 1: great he is. The same reason I don't have Lamar
- 9:41Speaker 1: on this list. It's like, I love Lamar, I love
- 9:43Speaker 1: Lamar's potential, but do I trust Lamar to bet on
- 9:47Speaker 1: and especially coming off what he's just dealt with this
- 9:49Speaker 1: past year of all these injuries, it's like, that's my pause,
- 9:52Speaker 1: That's what that was my pause with Watson. It's like,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I know the talent I know incredibly is but we
- 9:56Speaker 1: talk all the all the time. Football is more than
- 10:00Speaker 1: six mental again, it's it's that important to have the
- 10:03Speaker 1: right mental ability to be playing this game, like you
- 10:06Speaker 1: have to have a clear, conscious, clear mind. So that's
- 10:08Speaker 1: my biggest balls with the Sean. I also had Russell
- 10:11Speaker 1: Wilson rated higher than Aaron Rodgers. We talked about putting
- 10:17Speaker 1: together this list and trying to get to ten. Aaron
- 10:21Speaker 1: Rodgers was a very late ad for me. I don't
- 10:23Speaker 1: think he's a guy that with that without Davante Adams,
- 10:26Speaker 1: he is someone that, like I want to be trusting.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I feel like he fades too often in big games,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and there's too many times where when it's easy for him,
- 10:37Speaker 1: he plays exactly as you'd expect him to play. When
- 10:40Speaker 1: it's a little bit harder, there's moments where he's not
- 10:44Speaker 1: the guy that you need him to be. Russell Wilson,
- 10:47Speaker 1: to me, is always the guy that you need him
- 10:49Speaker 1: to be. I think this pastor was an anomaly, and
- 10:52Speaker 1: there's too many times over the years where he has
- 10:55Speaker 1: been in a spot to get me a cover or
- 10:57Speaker 1: to blow up a cover that he's done exactly what
- 11:00Speaker 1: he's supposed to do and he's gonna be. He's gonna
- 11:03Speaker 1: have great receivers, Courtland Shutt and Jerry Judy like that team,
- 11:08Speaker 1: great running backs. He's much higher for me than in Rodgers.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's that's a personal thing. Chat. You never make gambling personal.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Your your bad mouth in the back to back m
- 11:19Speaker 1: d P. I can't let you sit here and slander
- 11:22Speaker 1: the man. You're out of your mind. It's I think
- 11:23Speaker 1: it's more personally anything else because you've had to one
- 11:26Speaker 1: money on him. He's one of the few quarterbacks other
- 11:28Speaker 1: than Brady where him as a favorite. Even when the
- 11:32Speaker 1: public is all over it, I will still back Rogers
- 11:34Speaker 1: if it's the right matchup. So again, I'm gonna make
- 11:36Speaker 1: adjustments this upcoming season because he did lose his safety
- 11:39Speaker 1: outlet in Davante Adams. But now there's no way you
- 11:43Speaker 1: can have him below a Russell Wilson. Jack, Come on, now,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I do I have him below Russell Wilson. I just do.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's not it's a little bit of a personal thing,
- 11:52Speaker 1: like but not because not because it's a Packers thing
- 11:56Speaker 1: versus a bearrass thing. I just feel like I've seen
- 11:58Speaker 1: too many times we're Also, Wilson has performed up to
- 12:01Speaker 1: his full capabilities in the highest pressure moments, and we're
- 12:04Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers is kind of craterd We've just seen it.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Forget about him being a two time m v P.
- 12:09Speaker 1: You know, in those moments, he's built incredible numbers. But
- 12:14Speaker 1: there's still been a lot of moments in the highest
- 12:16Speaker 1: profile spots where he hasn't performed the same level as
- 12:20Speaker 1: Russell Wilson has performed. So there's to it. Agree with
- 12:23Speaker 1: you on Burrow, agree with you on Stafford, agree with
- 12:25Speaker 1: you on Herbert. Obviously Brady is up there. Um, but
- 12:31Speaker 1: it's amazing that we couldn't come up we couldn't come
- 12:33Speaker 1: up with the ten. What do you think? What are
- 12:36Speaker 1: the I know the qualities I'm thinking about. What are
- 12:40Speaker 1: the qualities that you're thinking about when you make this list? Um? Honestly,
- 12:45Speaker 1: it's the it's the quarterbacks. Like at the top, are
- 12:48Speaker 1: the guys that if they throw a pick six, I'm
- 12:51Speaker 1: not worried about my bet, where As we got low
- 12:53Speaker 1: and lower. That's what I kept thinking about. Which quarterback
- 12:55Speaker 1: but throw up picks six and I'm like, all right,
- 12:56Speaker 1: that's a dead bet. Like that that that Bed's done.
- 13:00Speaker 1: So like I mean, I thought, Josh Allen, I've seen it.
- 13:03Speaker 1: This kid, he gets down, he just does not care.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And that's like, I love. That's what Again, all of
- 13:08Speaker 1: us we want that on our team, Like that's the
- 13:10Speaker 1: dream of getting the quarterback that's like that him, Joe Burrow,
- 13:14Speaker 1: my Homes. These young guys who are now you know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: in our top six, top three quarterbacks, that's what they
- 13:19Speaker 1: all have. So that's again, that's something I really value
- 13:22Speaker 1: of guys can throw picks, have stupid turnovers, and then
- 13:25Speaker 1: drive the field have a touchdown. Like that's what we
- 13:28Speaker 1: want that that kind of mentality. So to me, that's
- 13:30Speaker 1: the biggest thing I look for these quarterbacks. Then how
- 13:32Speaker 1: was Aaron Rodgers on this list? Can you only throw
- 13:35Speaker 1: his like four picks a year? Yeah, but if any
- 13:38Speaker 1: of them are pick six, he's out of that game mentally,
- 13:41Speaker 1: gone from that game. I only can think of one
- 13:43Speaker 1: on the top of my head, and that was the
- 13:44Speaker 1: Week one against the Saints, Like he literally threw that
- 13:48Speaker 1: pick six and he was just like, all right, this
- 13:49Speaker 1: game is gone. So that seasons ago, two seasons ago
- 13:52Speaker 1: against the Bucks, same Tampa. Yep. So that's fair. But
- 13:56Speaker 1: at the same time. I think both years he was
- 13:58Speaker 1: like ten and five against the spread and tend and
- 14:00Speaker 1: tend and four against the spread. It's funny that you
- 14:02Speaker 1: mentioned the pick six though, because I think I'm thinking
- 14:05Speaker 1: about something similar, which isn't necessarily it's a pick six.
- 14:09Speaker 1: It's who's the guy that I want to have the
- 14:11Speaker 1: ball in their hands the least if I've bet against them. Yeah, right.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I don't want Josh Allen to have the ball. I
- 14:19Speaker 1: don't want Patrick Mahomes to have the ball. I don't
- 14:21Speaker 1: want Joe Burrow. I don't want Russell Wilson. I don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: want Tom Brady like I don't want to Shaun Watson.
- 14:27Speaker 1: To me, there's a very clear difference between sort of
- 14:29Speaker 1: the top five and the rest, Like for me, Alan Mahomes,
- 14:34Speaker 1: DeShawn Brady, Russell Wilson, that to me is like top
- 14:39Speaker 1: five and then the rest can be interchangeable. I am
- 14:44Speaker 1: shocked how much respect to giving Russell Wilson. This man
- 14:46Speaker 1: is literally not to shoot on him. He's done basically
- 14:49Speaker 1: nothing his entire career. Like this guy won a Super
- 14:52Speaker 1: Bowl with one of the greatest defenses ever in the
- 14:54Speaker 1: Legion of Boom and then through a pick, a pick
- 14:57Speaker 1: to end his chance to win of his own Super
- 14:59Speaker 1: Bowl where would give him his respect? And he just
- 15:02Speaker 1: ran a ten and six, twelve and four every other
- 15:06Speaker 1: year team in Seattle, and he was choke in the playoffs.
- 15:09Speaker 1: So I think you're overlooking a lot of Russell Wilson's shortcomings.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You're you're just a nice guy. Chat to me, Russell Wilson.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He he choked away. What a what a career to
- 15:20Speaker 1: me should have been way better than what it ended
- 15:22Speaker 1: up being. Like, they just they never recovered from him
- 15:24Speaker 1: throwing that pick to Malcolm Butler. That team has just
- 15:28Speaker 1: exploded every season ever since then. I guess I could
- 15:31Speaker 1: argue that I could put Joe Burrow in there instead
- 15:36Speaker 1: of Russell Wilson. I still would have put any Rodgers
- 15:39Speaker 1: in there. You're cold, your ice cold, man, You're cold blooded.
- 15:43Speaker 1: That's just my take. But that's that's sort of how
- 15:46Speaker 1: I think about it. Who am I going to be
- 15:47Speaker 1: afraid of? Yeah, most when we sort of get to that,
- 15:52Speaker 1: when he gets to the final moments of the game
- 15:54Speaker 1: and we'll ask we'll ask count her this too. But
- 15:56Speaker 1: which qbs could you never see getting on your top ten?
- 16:01Speaker 1: Oh man? So I guess when we do we're doing this,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you kind of have to go with like the new
- 16:06Speaker 1: blood because we've seen it this it's a quarterback here,
- 16:10Speaker 1: so it's like you've got three or four years to
- 16:13Speaker 1: figure it out and then you're kind of out unless
- 16:14Speaker 1: your name is Daniel Jones. So I mean that's one
- 16:17Speaker 1: easy one right there, Daniel Jones. This man will never
- 16:21Speaker 1: will never be what the New York Giants keep thinking
- 16:23Speaker 1: he's going to be, So that that's an easy one,
- 16:25Speaker 1: right there. Have a guy that don't never about to
- 16:27Speaker 1: make my top ten. And like the Sam Donalds of
- 16:29Speaker 1: the world again, Baker Mayfields of the world. These guys
- 16:32Speaker 1: that's like they have little moments of flash, but we
- 16:35Speaker 1: all know, like when we watched Herbert that first season,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you'd see him throw off balance, right, just have these
- 16:39Speaker 1: incredible throws you kind of know. So those are the
- 16:42Speaker 1: ones that really stay off to me. And the guys
- 16:44Speaker 1: that I would say are like the in between ers
- 16:49Speaker 1: of some years. They bump up to it and now
- 16:51Speaker 1: they've fallen out of it. It's like Matt Ryan, like
- 16:54Speaker 1: Matt Ryan's past that age of I don't I can
- 16:55Speaker 1: never see him getting back into my top ten. You know,
- 16:57Speaker 1: you had a great year with the Colts off think
- 17:00Speaker 1: of ways to be like, you know what, they had
- 17:01Speaker 1: a great offensive line, they had Jonathan Taylor. Is Matt
- 17:04Speaker 1: Ryan really a top ten quarterback now? So those are
- 17:07Speaker 1: the kind of things I'm looking at where it's like
- 17:09Speaker 1: these young guys I just can't see making it in
- 17:11Speaker 1: that like they've already had their opportunity, they've kind of
- 17:13Speaker 1: blown it. And old water and quarterbacks that are just
- 17:16Speaker 1: mid tier below mid tier kind of quarterback. So to me,
- 17:19Speaker 1: those are the ones that would never make it into mind.
- 17:21Speaker 1: So here's my other question for you. Of these three quarterbacks,
- 17:27Speaker 1: who do you think in the next two days, three
- 17:29Speaker 1: years is most likely to leap onto this list? Lamar Jackson,
- 17:35Speaker 1: Matt Jones, Justin Fields, Lamar Lamar Lamar, and Lamar Lamar.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I think Lamar is a top ten quarterback, I just forbetting.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I don't trust him because he has choked two different
- 17:47Speaker 1: times now in the playoffs, and I just don't like
- 17:51Speaker 1: all the drama with him right now. But if you're
- 17:53Speaker 1: just giving me those three options again, Mac Jones, he
- 17:57Speaker 1: might have some potential. I just don't think he seelings
- 17:59Speaker 1: high enough ever make my top ten. He would have
- 18:01Speaker 1: to be like Tom Brady. This like guy that didn't
- 18:04Speaker 1: have the talent, but he is just to clutch his
- 18:06Speaker 1: quarterback we've ever seen, which it's we haven't seen it yet.
- 18:09Speaker 1: With Mac we kind of saw him flame out towards
- 18:10Speaker 1: end of this season, just in fields same thing. I
- 18:12Speaker 1: need more time to watch him. That's why, like I
- 18:14Speaker 1: wouldn't say Zach Wilson's a bust, you, I wouldn't say
- 18:16Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence is, because you know it is. We just
- 18:18Speaker 1: need more time. It's all about scheme and coach as well.
- 18:21Speaker 1: But with Lamar, Lamar's top ten. If he was healthy
- 18:24Speaker 1: last year and had a healthy offense, I probably would
- 18:27Speaker 1: have had him in my top ten this this upcoming
- 18:29Speaker 1: season just because I've seen a Lamar. He's arguably the
- 18:32Speaker 1: greatest ath that we've ever seen play quarterback. So I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: still he's still in his prime, so I would definitely
- 18:37Speaker 1: take him as a Betty Man for the next three years,
- 18:39Speaker 1: just because my worries are about Lamar right now. It's
- 18:42Speaker 1: about when he's had thirty one thirty two, when he
- 18:44Speaker 1: can't just be scrambling taking hits. He's got to stand
- 18:47Speaker 1: there and throw it so that that's when I'll start
- 18:48Speaker 1: worrying about Lamar. It's time to play vall right now,

- 20:36Speaker 1: As promised, we are bringing in our boss at the
- 20:40Speaker 1: Volume Podcast Network. Hello Colin, Hello, Mr Boss of the
- 20:45Speaker 1: Volume Podcast Network, Thanks for coming on the favorites. That's
- 20:49Speaker 1: not really true. I don't view myself as that. I'm
- 20:53Speaker 1: a content guy. I don't like to be a boss.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I'm not a boss. That's not my that's not my
- 20:59Speaker 1: d NA. Dude, you're a content guy who started a
- 21:02Speaker 1: freaking company. You gotta own it. Literally, you own it,
- 21:05Speaker 1: own it. Yeah, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm
- 21:09Speaker 1: gonna be generationally wealthy, but that that does not qualify
- 21:14Speaker 1: me by the way gonna be. But come on, whatever,
- 21:17Speaker 1: let's move on. Listen, Simon and I were having a
- 21:20Speaker 1: debate before you came on. As you know, this is
- 21:23Speaker 1: a betting podcast, the betting podcast that you know is
- 21:26Speaker 1: the anchor of the betting coverage and the volume podcast network.
- 21:30Speaker 1: And we were talking about with all this movement going
- 21:32Speaker 1: on in the NFL, that's the straw stirs the drink
- 21:36Speaker 1: and coverage. Generally, the ten quarterbacks that you were most
- 21:39Speaker 1: comfortable investing your money in. He gave me his ten,
- 21:45Speaker 1: I gave ten, Give me your ten. Well, I look
- 21:49Speaker 1: at it differently. The ten quarterbacks I would wag your with.
- 21:54Speaker 1: One of them is against Kirk Cousin on standalone games. Seriously,
- 22:00Speaker 1: I bet against Kirk Cousins in standalone games. I bet
- 22:04Speaker 1: four Kirk Cousins at Lambeau. I love Justin Herbert. I
- 22:08Speaker 1: bet against them all last year because I don't necessarily
- 22:10Speaker 1: trust a rookie defensive coach. So when when I look
- 22:14Speaker 1: at quarterbacks, I usually take Dak against Giants Washington or
- 22:19Speaker 1: Philly because he really performs well in division when he's
- 22:22Speaker 1: comfortable with teams. He knows this morning, if you said
- 22:27Speaker 1: bet a quarterback, Josh Allen would be my number one bet.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I've said I feel like he was Mike Tyson. He
- 22:33Speaker 1: has a Mike Tyson quality where he had jagged edges,
- 22:38Speaker 1: like with Ali in his prime, you kind of knew
- 22:40Speaker 1: the fight you got. You know, Mike is bite and
- 22:43Speaker 1: ears off, Mike is buster Douglas. Mike had these wild,
- 22:47Speaker 1: jagged edges, but at his best he was the best.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I think Josh Allen's the most talented quarterback and football,
- 22:53Speaker 1: not Patrick Mahomes, but his edges have been jagged. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: thought this year take out the Northeastern game, maybe JAG's game.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I thought he softened his edges, so I kind of
- 23:03Speaker 1: feel like I know what he's getting. I think he's
- 23:05Speaker 1: probably my favorite bet. I still think Brady in big
- 23:09Speaker 1: games is a great bet. Um. I've been a little
- 23:12Speaker 1: out on Aaron Rodgers. Now you have the numbers against
- 23:16Speaker 1: the spread, I'm sure you know my takeaway on Aaron.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I wish I could bet it after the third series.
- 23:24Speaker 1: If you want to do live betting. I would always
- 23:27Speaker 1: bet against Aaron if he trails at half. I've never
- 23:31Speaker 1: thought he's a foxhole guy. I always call him the
- 23:34Speaker 1: great Baylor allows Eballer. The minute he throws a second pick,
- 23:38Speaker 1: he quits because you know, my theory with Aaron has
- 23:40Speaker 1: always been, he'll never have the trophies of Brady a contemporary,
- 23:45Speaker 1: or the stats of Breeze and Peyton contemporaries. He desperately
- 23:49Speaker 1: wants to be the highest paid and win the passer raiding.
- 23:53Speaker 1: That's what he clings to. So if he gets off
- 23:56Speaker 1: to a bad start, he's out. He's gotten. Remember that
- 23:59Speaker 1: Tampa game two years ago, a second pick, Wendy, I'm out. Listen.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Listen to me. I'm with you. I have him. Of
- 24:08Speaker 1: the ten quarterbacks that I would bet on, I have
- 24:12Speaker 1: him eight. Simon has him like third. And Simon said
- 24:15Speaker 1: to me, why do you say that? And I pointed
- 24:19Speaker 1: to the Tampa game. I pointed to a game earlier
- 24:23Speaker 1: this year where he threw a pick six, Like, I
- 24:26Speaker 1: think the guy is about vanity. I'm not going to
- 24:29Speaker 1: bet on a guy who's about vanity. And I agree
- 24:31Speaker 1: with you on the live betting. I loved him. Bet
- 24:34Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers live once. I know where his head is
- 24:38Speaker 1: at in the game and how he's being played. Yeah, no,
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's I'll tell you a guy, and it's easy to
- 24:43Speaker 1: jump on this now. Um, I'm a Burrow better. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: kind of feel I feel with Joe. I get a consistency,
- 24:51Speaker 1: not only a consistency of excellence, but a consistency of mistakes.
- 24:56Speaker 1: He throws picks, he's daring. I kind of know head
- 24:59Speaker 1: Zoe is a the game Foxhole guy, doesn't care about stats.
- 25:04Speaker 1: He's very much Andrew Luck. I'm in it to win it.
- 25:08Speaker 1: My legacy is not built on anything other than winning games.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I think Erin's got to a point now where money stature,
- 25:15Speaker 1: how he's viewed, and the passer rating has made him
- 25:19Speaker 1: a very safe quarterback when he faces dress a pass
- 25:23Speaker 1: rush trailing. And I've been on this now for years
- 25:26Speaker 1: and years. He remembered. You know, It's like everybody says, well,
- 25:31Speaker 1: you know, the fleur has really elevated him. I would
- 25:36Speaker 1: say it's interesting the division's worse. The Flirst thirteen and
- 25:40Speaker 1: three against the division when McCarthy was there, the Bears
- 25:43Speaker 1: went to a Super Bowl. Stafford had Jim Caldwell. He's
- 25:47Speaker 1: not out of the division and Minnesota had like a
- 25:49Speaker 1: four year peak run. The flour is not winning more.
- 25:52Speaker 1: He's winning more in the division. He hasn't solved anything
- 25:56Speaker 1: with Aaron. He's simply patting stats in the division. His
- 26:00Speaker 1: out of division stats Tampa twice. How do you do?
- 26:05Speaker 1: San Francisco still not beating him? So you know this
- 26:09Speaker 1: this this, there's this narrative that, oh, the fleur is unlocked,
- 26:15Speaker 1: the King tut there's a secret in the tomb and
- 26:19Speaker 1: he's unlocked. It's like, no, the division shittier, and he's
- 26:23Speaker 1: padding stats against the Lions, the Bears and the messy Vikings.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Simon College just hit on something very key about Joe Burrow,
- 26:33Speaker 1: which explains why you liked him so much. And when
- 26:35Speaker 1: you and I talked earlier about the one trait that
- 26:40Speaker 1: we look for in a quarterback when we're thinking about
- 26:44Speaker 1: this concept, he nailed what you were talking about with
- 26:46Speaker 1: Joe Burrow, explaining, Yeah, my whole idea that I just
- 26:50Speaker 1: love quarterbacks. You can throw the pick, make the big mistake,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and then literally drive the field when they get the
- 26:55Speaker 1: ball back and score a touchdown. So will you touch
- 26:57Speaker 1: on with Joe Burrow is my exactly why I put
- 26:59Speaker 1: him in my top top six. But my Aaron Rodgers
- 27:02Speaker 1: point was, I know what I'm getting with Aaron, like
- 27:04Speaker 1: you just broke it down perfectly, Conn where I love
- 27:07Speaker 1: to ride him during the season as a favorite, and
- 27:08Speaker 1: then I fade him for big money in the playoffs.
- 27:11Speaker 1: And I've been being paid NonStop these last couple of years.
- 27:15Speaker 1: NFC Championship game at home, Rogers big favorite. We talked
- 27:19Speaker 1: last year on the podcast. We just loved the dog
- 27:21Speaker 1: in that position every time, and we took the money line.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So I'm right there with you. I'm more looking at
- 27:26Speaker 1: with Rogers. I just have a good read on him
- 27:28Speaker 1: at this point in his career. I know he'll do
- 27:29Speaker 1: good to the regular season. Like you talked about Patti stats,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I know when the big moment comes, he's just choked
- 27:34Speaker 1: every single time. No, Colin, I want to throw a
- 27:39Speaker 1: wild card at you. I had this guy rated third
- 27:42Speaker 1: for me behind Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes de Sean Watson.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I would bet on this guy all the time. I
- 27:54Speaker 1: feel like anytime he was playing with the Texans, they
- 27:57Speaker 1: were in the game. And when I'm thinking about my
- 27:59Speaker 1: one straight, Like, how much do I want this guy
- 28:03Speaker 1: to have the ball at the end of the game.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I want this guy to have the ball at the
- 28:08Speaker 1: end of the game. I feel like every single time
- 28:10Speaker 1: he'll have the ball, I'm in contention to win a bet. Well,
- 28:15Speaker 1: he's a hard judge for me because I think he
- 28:17Speaker 1: had to overcome such personnel deficiencies and the offensive line
- 28:21Speaker 1: was so bad and the running game was so spotty.
- 28:27Speaker 1: So he's a he's a hard it's hard to He
- 28:30Speaker 1: didn't really have a comp for me. I don't. I
- 28:32Speaker 1: don't think he throws a beautiful ball. Um, I never
- 28:35Speaker 1: did that. I thought he was kind of a B
- 28:37Speaker 1: plus prospect out of Clemson. I I my scouting guys
- 28:40Speaker 1: were like, he just he skips ball him. He like
- 28:43Speaker 1: he misses easy throws. He's got kind of an inconsistent
- 28:47Speaker 1: wind up. So, you know, a guy that's a little
- 28:51Speaker 1: underrated for me is Derek carr Is. You know, I
- 28:59Speaker 1: always judge people like when the fit hits the shan,
- 29:02Speaker 1: like when things go sideways in life. What kind of
- 29:05Speaker 1: parent are you? I mean, we're all great when your
- 29:07Speaker 1: kid hits the home run, What if he gets called
- 29:09Speaker 1: out in a bad third strike. How do the parents react?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Derek Carr has literally had the porous owner, the worst
- 29:17Speaker 1: head coaching situation, below average, suboptimal general manager, mostly battle
- 29:24Speaker 1: lines and chaos, and this franchise moved. You start looking
- 29:29Speaker 1: at his numbers the last three and four years. If
- 29:31Speaker 1: you do a blind resume, you kind of know what
- 29:34Speaker 1: you get. Every Sunday, you kind of new and you know.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I make this argument if not for his throw to
- 29:41Speaker 1: Hunter Renfrow an Indie, Carson Wentz is still there. That
- 29:44Speaker 1: effectively ended Carson Wentz Um. I'm more impressed with people
- 29:49Speaker 1: that overcome. That's my knock on Aaron Rodgers. He didn't
- 29:52Speaker 1: really overcome again. He is the best lead horse in
- 29:56Speaker 1: the history of the league. Brady's overcome Julian Edelman being
- 30:01Speaker 1: his top receiver for three Super Bowls like that. He
- 30:04Speaker 1: had two, and some would argue a three, like I
- 30:08Speaker 1: want to see Aaron now where his best receiver is
- 30:11Speaker 1: Alan Lazard. That's overcoming now. I do think they'll be
- 30:16Speaker 1: in the race to get Davonte Parker. I think that's
- 30:18Speaker 1: a good landing spot and he's available now. But I
- 30:24Speaker 1: think I've always thought Derek Carr has been a life
- 30:26Speaker 1: preserver of a sinking ship for about seven years, and
- 30:29Speaker 1: I kind of know what I get every Sunday with him. S.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I mean, you were all over Derek Carr last season.
- 30:37Speaker 1: You loved him when the season began, and yet and
- 30:39Speaker 1: yet he didn't make our top ten. Neither of us
- 30:43Speaker 1: had him in the top ten. I would say it's
- 30:46Speaker 1: kind of touched on what Colin talked about, where he's
- 30:48Speaker 1: just been misled all these past couple of years and
- 30:50Speaker 1: I've just been burned by him. So with their car,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I love I love backing him at home. I really
- 30:56Speaker 1: do think he's had a huge advantage at home. He
- 30:57Speaker 1: always plays better at home. And then I was just
- 30:59Speaker 1: going the road and lay duds. And we saw in
- 31:01Speaker 1: that Bengals playoff game where they gave him the ball,
- 31:04Speaker 1: said drive the field and make your legacy here, and
- 31:07Speaker 1: he couldn't do it against the Bengals in the playoffs.
- 31:09Speaker 1: So that's that's one of those are I do like Derek,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but he's just not in my top ten. But I
- 31:13Speaker 1: love Wirecollin's heads at It's like this guy in a
- 31:15Speaker 1: year and you know you're in your out proves why
- 31:18Speaker 1: he's a worthy quarterback. Yeah, I mean, if you look today,
- 31:21Speaker 1: if I say you quarterback, top running back, corner, slot receiver,
- 31:27Speaker 1: sideline receiver, Raiders maybe in the top three in the league.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I mean hunter Renfroe's probably the best slot Davante's top two.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Sideline receiver, Darren Waller after Kelsey is my favorite. Josh
- 31:40Speaker 1: Jacobs rock so I mean listen, Raiders center, right guard,
- 31:43Speaker 1: right tackle or bad bad and Josh j Colton Miller
- 31:47Speaker 1: is pretty good at left tackle. But there. I mean,
- 31:50Speaker 1: they're Josh Jacobs a real running back. Um. You know.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Eric Manginie loved them last year. He's like, I think
- 31:58Speaker 1: they're going to make the playoffs, and we were all like,
- 31:59Speaker 1: you're out of your mind. They are. They had an
- 32:04Speaker 1: unbelievable free agency period. That's the best the Raiders have
- 32:08Speaker 1: had maybe in my life. I thought they were fantastic.
- 32:12Speaker 1: The league's becoming a weapon's pass rush league, quarterback weapons
- 32:15Speaker 1: pass rush. Green Bay lost their weapons, Dallas lost their
- 32:19Speaker 1: pass rush. I thought the Raiders got signal three wins
- 32:23Speaker 1: better in the last two weeks. I really, do you know,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you're such a big deal. I forget what a sports
- 32:34Speaker 1: fan you are, because who the hell can name that
- 32:39Speaker 1: the Raiders right guard, right tackle, and center are terrible
- 32:44Speaker 1: and then go deep on their offensive line death. Why
- 32:48Speaker 1: do you have that in your back pocket right now?
- 32:52Speaker 1: Because I love the league. Now now, I can't name
- 32:58Speaker 1: the infield for the Twins. I couldn't tell you anybody
- 33:02Speaker 1: in the Pirates bullpen. I have my holes. You could
- 33:06Speaker 1: give me ten minutes on the nineteen seventies Cincinnati Reds
- 33:11Speaker 1: big red machine, like you did the other day on
- 33:13Speaker 1: the radio. Oh you heard that, Oh yeah, I heard that.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I'm like, I can't believe right now, he is doing
- 33:20Speaker 1: ten minutes in the middle of the day on number
- 33:23Speaker 1: three hitters and the value of number three hitters. And
- 33:25Speaker 1: it's not even about like baseball. I forget you were
- 33:29Speaker 1: talking about number three hitters in relation to some other sport.
- 33:32Speaker 1: But then you went into a tangent on Joe Morrigan
- 33:36Speaker 1: in the key to those nine seventies Reds teams. Yeah,
- 33:40Speaker 1: I know, But here was my question when I was
- 33:41Speaker 1: listening to this, because I know, I know how much
- 33:44Speaker 1: you think about the structure of your shows, and I
- 33:47Speaker 1: know how much planning you put into the shows, and
- 33:49Speaker 1: I know how in depth your pre show meetings go.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Was that Red's topic on sort of your tree of
- 33:59Speaker 1: was that just off the off your head? Yeah, I'll
- 34:01Speaker 1: give you another one. The seventies Pirates, seventy seven Pirates.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Willie start Will at first, Rennie Standard at second, Frank
- 34:08Speaker 1: Deveris short built, bad luck at third, Dave Parker in
- 34:13Speaker 1: right field, kent to Colvey on the mound, bullpenls hit
- 34:16Speaker 1: and miss Manny sange In behind the plate. And I
- 34:20Speaker 1: don't have any idea who is in left field. I'm
- 34:22Speaker 1: pretty good with seventies baseball. Seventies people listen this weekend
- 34:26Speaker 1: baseball twib notes, Like for guys like us, those are
- 34:30Speaker 1: the baseball glory days. That's why we it's why we
- 34:33Speaker 1: gave up on baseball because it doesn't We're not getting
- 34:36Speaker 1: those Saturday afternoon games from Candlestick between the Dodgers and
- 34:41Speaker 1: the Giants on NBC. It just isn't that kind of
- 34:44Speaker 1: sport anymore. No, there's two. It's been deluded. There's too
- 34:48Speaker 1: many games on, like in the off season for baseball,
- 34:51Speaker 1: we're not talking about with the top ten pictures were
- 34:53Speaker 1: most likely to bet on? Ever, Well, I tell people
- 34:57Speaker 1: this and the omelet business, not the egg business. It's
- 35:00Speaker 1: not my job to make the omelet. You give me
- 35:03Speaker 1: a good omelet, I'll put it in the menu. College
- 35:07Speaker 1: basketball and baseball. Too many games, too transitional, too many
- 35:12Speaker 1: games on TV to delude, no urgency. A few stars,
- 35:17Speaker 1: it's off the menu. NFL, college football, NBA, big fights
- 35:23Speaker 1: and like a great big golf tournament with Dustin Johnson,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Brooks Kapta, that's my show. Baseball playoffs occasionally you gotta.
- 35:32Speaker 1: I'm in the egg business, not the omelet business. I'm
- 35:36Speaker 1: not making omelets. Is your omelet good? I'll put it
- 35:38Speaker 1: on the menu. Uh, A good egg. I think we
- 35:42Speaker 1: can all agree. Has this for a transition? Just had
- 35:46Speaker 1: one five minutes ago. A good egg. Russell Wilson, he's
- 35:50Speaker 1: a good egg. I know you and cr A. You're tight.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You guys, convenient parties and hang out together. He was
- 35:58Speaker 1: very high on my list. Simon very down on Russell Wilson.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Well again, he's a hard comp over the last three
- 36:08Speaker 1: years because Seattle's just think about this, So Seattle's defense
- 36:13Speaker 1: has gotten progressively worse. So he's now playing from behind
- 36:18Speaker 1: a lot with no running game and DK met captain
- 36:22Speaker 1: means more two than a one and an anequated offense
- 36:26Speaker 1: that's had multiple coordinators and a bottom five OH line,
- 36:31Speaker 1: so there's been such deterioration around him, and he now
- 36:35Speaker 1: plays from behind quite regularly. It's a different comp then
- 36:40Speaker 1: in his first five years when he played with the
- 36:42Speaker 1: league played with the lead, had Marshawn Lynch was throwing
- 36:47Speaker 1: on third and two. He now throws on third and
- 36:49Speaker 1: eight as much as anybody in the league. So it's
- 36:53Speaker 1: not that I don't trust him. I've been very critical
- 36:56Speaker 1: of John Snyder and Pete Carroll. He's throwing from different spectives.
- 37:00Speaker 1: He's throwing trailing on third and long first five years
- 37:04Speaker 1: of his career with Marshawn Lynnich, he's throwing with a
- 37:07Speaker 1: lead on third and two. Those passing lanes are wide open.
- 37:12Speaker 1: But they have missed on so many drafts. I mean,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you have to go back to seven years before they
- 37:17Speaker 1: had a good draft. They had six. They've had sixth right,
- 37:20Speaker 1: bad drafts. They've missed on first round picks L. J. Collier,
- 37:23Speaker 1: Rashad Penny. They've missed badly in the last three years
- 37:30Speaker 1: on a non playoff team. This year, right, they have
- 37:35Speaker 1: three starters from the draft. That's with twice having a
- 37:38Speaker 1: first round pick. In the last three years on a
- 37:40Speaker 1: Super Bowl winning roster, the Rams a sneed has found
- 37:44Speaker 1: eight starters with no first round picks. That's the difference.
- 37:49Speaker 1: The Rams have an elite scouting department and supplement their
- 37:53Speaker 1: stars with really good picks. Cls three starters in three
- 37:58Speaker 1: years of the draft on a bad roster. So that's
- 38:01Speaker 1: Russell Wilson's reality. Still looks at it and goes, yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 1: it's third and nine. I'm running for my life, not
- 38:08Speaker 1: third and two with Marshawn Marshawn Lynch. The minute they
- 38:11Speaker 1: traded Max Unger for Jimmy Graham, everything changed. They went
- 38:15Speaker 1: from a physical, elite center to a basketball player at
- 38:19Speaker 1: top end. They have never protected him since, and he's
- 38:23Speaker 1: never quite had the same support. All Right, last question,
- 38:28Speaker 1: Simon and I very clearly had one trait that we
- 38:33Speaker 1: looked for in the quarterback that we wanted to bet on. Simon,
- 38:38Speaker 1: name yours on their mind, Colin, you give us yours? Well, yeah,
- 38:42Speaker 1: big thing I look for is just the guy that
- 38:44Speaker 1: if he throws a pick six, is he gonna be
- 38:46Speaker 1: able to drive the field and he gets to the
- 38:47Speaker 1: ball back and score a touchdown. To me, that's there's
- 38:49Speaker 1: maybe five, six, seven guys that can do that completely
- 38:52Speaker 1: in the NFL. So to me, that's the key thing
- 38:54Speaker 1: I look for, and I'm betting big money on these guys.
- 38:56Speaker 1: So for me, this single quality I'm looking for when
- 39:00Speaker 1: it comes to trusting a quarterback, essentially with my money,
- 39:05Speaker 1: who do I not want to bet against at the
- 39:09Speaker 1: end of the game. So what is your single quality
- 39:13Speaker 1: when it comes to trusting a quarterback? Quarterbacks and presidents
- 39:16Speaker 1: emotional discipline, the ability to fall on the sword after
- 39:21Speaker 1: a loss, handout credit after a win to others, the
- 39:25Speaker 1: ability sometimes to not win a press conference. Russell Wilson
- 39:29Speaker 1: throws an interception to Malcolm Butler in the Super Bowl.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Watch his reaction. You don't know what he did. I
- 39:35Speaker 1: see Aaron Rodgers, I see moods, I see I roll,
- 39:38Speaker 1: you see finger pointing. That's a lack of emotional discipline.
- 39:42Speaker 1: He knows the cameras on him. Can you control yourself?
- 39:45Speaker 1: I'm not saying you can't have fist pumps. That's why
- 39:47Speaker 1: Trump was such a shitty president. He had no emotional discipline.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I mean, all of us have bad thoughts. Don't rush
- 39:53Speaker 1: to Twitter to weaponize it. We all have bad thoughts.
- 39:55Speaker 1: We all have angry thoughts. Control yourself. Joe Biden, for all,
- 39:59Speaker 1: his issue was cognitively. He's not rushing the Twitter when
- 40:03Speaker 1: he's piste off because his dog crapped in the next
- 40:06Speaker 1: of the lamp. You know, like we all have bad days.
- 40:08Speaker 1: There's every moment of my day you're like, oh god,
- 40:13Speaker 1: you know, rush to Twitter. And the same of the quarterback.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I mean, how often he asked a dumb question the
- 40:18Speaker 1: press conference. You're picked off at a coordinator, you're in
- 40:21Speaker 1: a meeting room, a rookie says something stupid. Do you
- 40:25Speaker 1: have the discipline and just go all right? Next play?
- 40:29Speaker 1: It's a real quality. You say you don't want to
- 40:31Speaker 1: be a boss, and yet you're extolling the virtues of
- 40:34Speaker 1: what it's left to be a boss. There you go,
- 40:36Speaker 1: We've come full circle. I don't have these qualities and others.
- 40:41Speaker 1: We've come full circle. This has been the favorites from
