- 0:11Speaker 1: Well, here we are.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Our new single, Listen When Sad, comes out tomorrow.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Tomorrow.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You know, I always get weird about that whole, like,
- 0:20Speaker 2: it comes out tomorrow thing, but it really, I know
- 0:22Speaker 2: it comes out at midnight, but like, it always feels
- 0:24Speaker 2: like it comes out today at tonight.
- 0:26Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 0:28Speaker 2: You know, it's like midnight today, but it's tomorrow, but it's...
- 0:31Speaker 2: We are matching jumpsuits. These were gifted to us by Joe.
- 0:35Speaker 1: They're so comfortable, Joe.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: We introduced this new version of a logo at the
- 0:39Speaker 2: MSG shows last week. Three different nights, three different suits.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Started with the black suits. Then we did the white suits.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Finished it off with the red suits.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Now we're in the jumpsuits. These are our podcast suits now.
- 0:51Speaker 1: They're serious. They're serious jumpsuits. Who makes them? Who makes them?
- 0:55Speaker 1: They're called futsal. What is the meaning behind the JV
- 0:58Speaker 1: crest without the JV in it? It's like, you know
- 1:00Speaker 1: what it is. You know who we are. You know
- 1:01Speaker 1: what it is. I love that.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I love that energy. Somebody last night asked me, they
- 1:06Speaker 2: were like, what? They asked the same question. They're like, well,
- 1:08Speaker 2: you guys didn't do the whole thing. And I'm like,
- 1:10Speaker 2: you know, can't give them everything. I didn't really know
- 1:13Speaker 2: what that meant when I said it. But it felt right.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It'll leave more and more. Yeah. That's what it kind
- 1:18Speaker 1: of meant. I've always said about you, you leave people
- 1:20Speaker 1: wanting more. Hey.
- 1:21Speaker 2: That's not what I meant. I'm just learning my tumblers.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Your mic flag is sideways. Oh, shit, there's tons in here.
- 1:27Speaker 2: You got pages and pages.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You got pages and pages? Oh, is that Molly Shannon?
- 1:33Speaker 2: That's a bunch of SNL sounds because our guest today
- 1:37Speaker 2: is an SNL legend.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Have you guys been enjoying your week between MSG and this?
- 1:46Speaker 1: We've been having a great week. We've been doing, you know,
- 1:48Speaker 1: kindergarten visits. Oh, nice.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Like just visiting kindergartners? Yeah, the schools. Got it. How's
- 1:54Speaker 1: that going for you? It's an incredible thing to be
- 1:57Speaker 1: selecting a school. It's a journey. It's happening fast. It's
- 2:00Speaker 1: all happening too fast. It is happening fast. Yeah, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: kissed the ring. She's growing up real quick. She's awesome.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Thanks.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm glad you think so. Our guest is waiting. We
- 2:08Speaker 1: should get to it because we have a lot to
- 2:09Speaker 1: talk about.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay. At the end of this, we'll do a
- 2:13Speaker 2: clip of our new single, Listen What's Sad, which you
- 2:15Speaker 2: can hear for the first time exclusively on the Hey
- 2:17Speaker 2: Jonas podcast.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Let's get him out of here. Mikey Day. It's so wet.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Can I wear them? You can do whatever you want.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Are you sure? You should. Why not? I've got a pair. Wait,
- 2:25Speaker 1: hold on. I didn't know if it's like wear next glasses.
- 2:29Speaker 1: That is usually the deal. They are so good. What
- 2:32Speaker 1: do you think? You can pull it off. Thanks. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: found these in a drawer backstage a few hours ago.
- 2:40Speaker 1: They're pretty great. That's really good, Joe. What do you think?
- 2:42Speaker 1: They might be your glasses now. You're like, Nick can
- 2:46Speaker 1: pull it off, you cannot. Welcome to the pod. Hi.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Your fan base is really excited right now. They are.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Look at this guy in his 40s.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Yes!
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yes!
- 2:57Speaker 2: They're in the comments right now saying exactly that.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Who is that? Michael Day on the pod. We go
- 3:04Speaker 1: back quite a while. For a while. It's been a... Oh,
- 3:09Speaker 1: there we go. Oh, wow. I didn't know you guys
- 3:12Speaker 1: have sound effects. I'm so wet. Is that me saying
- 3:18Speaker 1: I'm so wet? Yeah, that'd be you.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I honestly don't know most of them until I press
- 3:26Speaker 2: the button.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That is so... We've got some SNL-themed stuff. We've got Nick.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Nick. Whoa, fancy boy. And then, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 1: depending on what we say. Oh, that's cool. When you
- 3:40Speaker 1: talk about money and stuff. Success. All right. Or really
- 3:43Speaker 1: get into some business. Ooh, if it gets legal. If
- 3:45Speaker 1: it gets legal.
- 3:46Speaker 2: We're trying to get Kevin to do a spinoff podcast
- 3:50Speaker 2: about legal stuff.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Ooh, you're a legal expert? Far from it, you know.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You just like true crime, though? My wife does, for sure. Oh,
- 3:57Speaker 1: my God.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I walked into the room and some guy just got hacked.
- 4:00Speaker 2: hacked up his wife and she's like sound asleep i'm
- 4:02Speaker 2: like i don't get it how is this possible at
- 4:05Speaker 2: night yeah grisly murders exactly is there i'm curious for
- 4:09Speaker 2: my own knowledge is there like a text chain you
- 4:13Speaker 2: all have with all of you spouses family members is
- 4:17Speaker 2: there like a mega thread there's a mega thread for
- 4:19Speaker 2: the immediate fam and it's called It's really boring.
- 4:23Speaker 1: The name is just family. And I was thinking about
- 4:24Speaker 1: this the other day. We need to change that. It's
- 4:26Speaker 1: not fun at all.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And we ask people a lot, actually funny enough, on
- 4:29Speaker 2: the bottom, like, oh, what's the group text from the
- 4:31Speaker 2: show that you guys are on? Yeah, we should change
- 4:32Speaker 2: the name. And they'll say something elaborate and it's very
- 4:34Speaker 2: inside baseball. And ours is just family.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I like it. We had my older kids on it.
- 4:42Speaker 1: We took them off in a day. Kevin took them
- 4:43Speaker 1: off in a day. I took them off in a
- 4:45Speaker 1: single day.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Everyone forgot that there was, you know, people under the
- 4:48Speaker 2: age of 18 in that group chat. You're like, what's
- 4:51Speaker 2: being shared?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. It was something medical, and it was not
- 4:54Speaker 1: something that a child should hear about. Look at what
- 4:57Speaker 1: I found on myself. Exactly. Is there a doctor in
- 5:00Speaker 1: the family? This family has 30 people in it. Yeah. Well, look,
- 5:03Speaker 1: back to you, my friend. We're so happy you're here.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I have one more question. Of course. We've got a
- 5:06Speaker 1: lot of answers. And you guys, you all have children, right? Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Do you have any kids? I have one. He just
- 5:13Speaker 1: turned 14-year-old boy. Congratulations. That's very nice.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's crazy. We all have girls. All girls? All girls. Wow.
- 5:22Speaker 1: That's incredible. What are the odds of that? I know. Wow.
- 5:26Speaker 2: 50%.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I didn't know this. 50 years. I should have picked
- 5:30Speaker 1: up on that. Literally 50%. Do you exchange gifts? Do
- 5:36Speaker 1: you get your nieces gifts? gifts or is it you
- 5:41Speaker 1: do you not do that i was just curious every.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Year christmas gets really tricky a pre-family you know holiday
- 5:48Speaker 2: situation celebration okay a little early family christmas which is
- 5:51Speaker 2: like usually about two to three days before christmas before
- 5:54Speaker 2: a concert where you all meet up and then we've
- 5:57Speaker 2: done it a handful of times in the last couple
- 6:00Speaker 2: years we've ended tours okay in the new york area
- 6:04Speaker 2: And so we will.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Kevin has a place in New Jersey. I'm in Brooklyn.
- 6:08Speaker 2: So we'll either pick one of those destinations for a
- 6:11Speaker 2: family Christmas. It'll be at my house this year because
- 6:12Speaker 2: we're in Newark to finish the tour.
- 6:14Speaker 1: We haven't actually... We actually... No one's decided. That's true.
- 6:16Speaker 1: We were at UBS before that, so... Do you have
- 6:19Speaker 1: to call it? Are you like, my house? We have
- 6:21Speaker 1: to kind of... It's... I like it at Joe's. Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 1: he likes it. It's because then he can kick us
- 6:27Speaker 1: out faster. It's true. If it's at Kevin's, he can
- 6:29Speaker 1: get us out. He's like, he doesn't have to worry
- 6:31Speaker 1: about that. I would say.
- 6:33Speaker 2: to answer your question, we do buy each other's nieces
- 6:35Speaker 2: gifts for holidays, but we have to be very like
- 6:38Speaker 2: coordinated because there's a thing where you can like, like, Hey,
- 6:41Speaker 2: what are you thinking?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Or, and now Kevin's kids are a little older. They
- 6:44Speaker 1: know what they want. There's no like, right. They're like,
- 6:47Speaker 1: they have, I'll get these alerts on Elfster. You know
- 6:50Speaker 1: about Elfster. You got to get on Elfster. Sounds like Elfster.
- 6:55Speaker 1: North pole.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yes.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It's, it's Christmas movie. It's governed by the, yes, exactly. So, Oh,
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's like a gift app. It's a movie, an anime
- 7:02Speaker 1: movie starring Mikey Day. Elster. I would see that.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Elster?
- 7:09Speaker 1: I would definitely sign up for it. Have you seen
- 7:11Speaker 1: this trailer? It's an app to help like family members,
- 7:13Speaker 1: like similar to a wedding. Okay. It's a registry.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Registry for Christmas gifts.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oh, that's cool.
- 7:19Speaker 2: But it's kind of annoying because Kevin's kids, I'm like, no,
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't want you to decide what I'm going to.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Give you for Christmas.
- 7:24Speaker 2: But it's also like, I get that, but it's like,
- 7:26Speaker 2: I have a hot take on that because some people
- 7:29Speaker 2: just buy things that, You already have or or you're
- 7:32Speaker 2: not gonna you're not gonna use it's like we're about
- 7:34Speaker 2: to say that you just don't want that's true What
- 7:39Speaker 2: if you don't me asking what is your son into
- 7:41Speaker 2: like right now?
- 7:41Speaker 1: What's this thing? Oh? Video games you just got a
- 7:45Speaker 1: switch to see you so I do it. Oh, yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 1: you played Mario Kart world.
- 7:49Speaker 3: By the way, I'm wearing Nick's glasses in case you
- 7:55Speaker 3: are scrubbed forward and you're seeing this, I want to
- 7:59Speaker 3: make sure people know I put on your glasses.
- 8:01Speaker 1: It's totally fine. Look great on you. I have to
- 8:02Speaker 1: bring up something that... That's great. Look great on you. No, listen,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you said Mario Kart. Yep.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And it reminded me of a sketch that didn't make
- 8:11Speaker 2: the episode that I was.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Fortunate enough to host of SNL. Which was a great episode.
- 8:15Speaker 2: It was a fun episode. But during the table read,
- 8:17Speaker 2: Pete Davidson pitched this sketch, which was absolutely hilarious. It
- 8:21Speaker 2: was the same time that Daft Punk was... not being
- 8:26Speaker 2: a band anymore.
- 8:27Speaker 1: They broke up. And so his idea was... It was
- 8:28Speaker 1: like the week of. The week of. So like, we're
- 8:31Speaker 1: no longer robots. They take off their helmets and it's
- 8:35Speaker 1: Mario and Luigi. Mario and Luigi. Which is very funny.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And you were.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I played Mario.
- 8:41Speaker 1: You played Mario. And you were going to be Luigi. Oh, wow.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And I want to see this game. Can you guys
- 8:45Speaker 1: do it as if it was going to happen? This
- 8:47Speaker 1: is Luigi. Wow! Wow, I forgot.
- 8:52Speaker 2: So that sketch, I was like, damn it, I wish
- 8:55Speaker 2: we had the chance to do it. There was one
- 8:56Speaker 2: other one that.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Were you in the meeting like, I don't know, I
- 8:59Speaker 1: kind of like that Mario one. I'd really like to
- 9:01Speaker 1: be Mario. Well, it's funny, I did mention that, and
- 9:02Speaker 1: they were like, that's great. Moving on. Anyway, here's what
- 9:05Speaker 1: we're doing.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Have you found that.
- 9:08Speaker 2: where there's been like, is there any sketches you can
- 9:10Speaker 2: think of that you're like, this is going to crush
- 9:13Speaker 2: at the meeting.
- 9:13Speaker 1: And then it was just like, and then at the table,
- 9:15Speaker 1: read it. Oh, I've had so many and you're just getting,
- 9:19Speaker 1: but I guess I'm used to it now. Right. You've
- 9:21Speaker 1: said it. We were reading up some, some, some Intel
- 9:24Speaker 1: on you. And, and, and I think we remember this too.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You definitely like, it's easy to remember. Oh, that was
- 9:30Speaker 2: a great show or that, that, that went really well.
- 9:33Speaker 2: But the smallest thing you're like, I cannot get over
- 9:36Speaker 2: this hurdle.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Have you had any epic bombs where you're like, okay,
- 9:40Speaker 1: this is going to stay with me? It's funny how...
- 9:43Speaker 1: Or it really hasn't, but in your mind it has.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I mean, I've definitely done something in the performance where
- 9:47Speaker 1: I'm like, I can never watch this. I'm awful. Every
- 9:52Speaker 1: once in a while I'll see, because there's monitors, you
- 9:55Speaker 1: know those monitors up? And just to see where I
- 9:58Speaker 1: am in the shot, every once in a while I'll
- 9:59Speaker 1: look up and I'm like, no, it's just so terrible
- 10:03Speaker 1: to not be in the scene and looking up into
- 10:05Speaker 1: the sky. But, um, I mean, I've definitely had some severe,
- 10:11Speaker 1: severe bombs, but luckily it usually happens at dress. So
- 10:15Speaker 1: the world doesn't see it bomb. I mean, sometimes it
- 10:19Speaker 1: can go to air and doesn't do as well. We
- 10:21Speaker 1: had this one. It was I don't know. Already, it
- 10:26Speaker 1: sounds terrible. I don't know if you're familiar with the.
- 10:29Speaker 1: chilean soccer team in the 70s their plane crashed in
- 10:33Speaker 1: the alps and they had to eat each other it
- 10:35Speaker 1: was loosely inspired by that concept where we were on
- 10:41Speaker 1: a we were a dodgeball team that crashed in the
- 10:46Speaker 1: alps and so i was lying on oh and halsey
- 10:50Speaker 1: was the guest host poor halsey she was a good
- 10:53Speaker 1: sport about it but it Anyway, I was lying there
- 10:56Speaker 1: and I was like, I was going to die. And
- 10:59Speaker 1: I was like, please eat me. Let me sustain you.
- 11:03Speaker 1: It would make me happy. And they're like, but you're alive.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And I'm like, do it anyway. They basically made a
- 11:10Speaker 1: fake butt out of it. out of chicken, so they
- 11:15Speaker 1: were basically eating me while I was alive, going, so,
- 11:20Speaker 1: how do I taste? Anyway. That's hilarious. I'm glad you
- 11:26Speaker 1: guys enjoyed it. The audience was like, no thank you.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And was this in the dress? This was in dress rehearsal.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Okay, so, just playing for the listener, you run a
- 11:36Speaker 2: whole show, front to back.
- 11:38Speaker 1: At 8 p.m., yeah.
- 11:40Speaker 2: And then you essentially, I guess, we've had the honor
- 11:44Speaker 2: of being a part of a few of those dresses,
- 11:46Speaker 2: where then they're like, and we're cutting five sketches.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, they cut a few, so you could work all
- 11:52Speaker 1: week on something. Right, so the best of... Can make
- 11:56Speaker 1: the show. Yes, exactly. So the chicken butt didn't make it. No, no, no.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Poor Halsey, too. She was so nice about it. I'm
- 12:06Speaker 1: sure if I was hosting, I'd be like, yeah, I
- 12:07Speaker 1: don't love the one where I eat this alive man.
- 12:12Speaker 1: His ass made out of chicken. But it was so silent.
- 12:18Speaker 1: To this day, I vividly remember. It's so funny. But
- 12:21Speaker 1: it's kind of fun to have the terrible bombs. You
- 12:24Speaker 1: have to. You really remember them. But if something starts bombing,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you could believe in it all the way, all week,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and then the second it starts bombing, you're like, I'm done.
- 12:33Speaker 2: One of my favorite things also about SNL, and you
- 12:38Speaker 2: are brilliant at this and so many amazing cast members, when.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Something takes you out. I love you guys, by the way.
- 12:44Speaker 1: We love you. We love you.
- 12:45Speaker 2: But something takes you out of the show because something
- 12:49Speaker 2: either really funny happens or a moment where somebody catches
- 12:53Speaker 2: you off guard and everyone's just laughing. And you cannot
- 12:57Speaker 2: contain keeping it. Do you have any memories of somebody
- 13:00Speaker 2: that you were like, I just, you could not keep
- 13:03Speaker 2: it together?
- 13:03Speaker 1: Kenan, usually, always something about Kenan. I mean, the Beavis
- 13:07Speaker 1: and Butthead episode. That was iconic. That was the greatest episode.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Things ever. When Gosling always hosts, it always feels like
- 13:16Speaker 1: the popular kid at school is hanging out with you.
- 13:19Speaker 1: And I'm like, I'm hanging out with Ryan all week.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm hanging out with Ryan.
- 13:24Speaker 2: He comes into your life for a week. I feel
- 13:26Speaker 2: like I would feel that way, too. Oh, my God.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It's so fun.
- 13:30Speaker 1: And it's just this heightened. Did you know in the
- 13:32Speaker 1: dress that that sketch was going to crush like it did?
- 13:34Speaker 1: I mean, whenever Ryan's there, he's always on the verge.
- 13:37Speaker 1: He's always like... You can tell when he starts to go.
- 13:42Speaker 1: And Heidi was laughing, but. Had she not seen you before?
- 13:47Speaker 1: She saw me and she laughed at dress, but the
- 13:50Speaker 1: look changed a little bit. We like fixed the wig.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So I had more of the butt head. It's all
- 13:56Speaker 1: that mouth. Like, yeah, it's this weird, easy to put in.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It's this little apparatus that just is so much fake gum.
- 14:05Speaker 1: It's just so weird how much it changes your face.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And so she saw it and she said, I look like,
- 14:11Speaker 1: Something not human, like Uncanny Valley, and she just lost
- 14:16Speaker 1: her mind.
- 14:16Speaker 2: My favorite kind of comedy, too, is just where sometimes
- 14:21Speaker 2: just sitting there in silence makes everyone break it and
- 14:24Speaker 2: just they can't help themselves.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It's so fun. I mean, sometimes those two will happen
- 14:28Speaker 1: on silent moments or something goes wrong. Something goes wrong
- 14:32Speaker 1: that only we know about, and once it starts, it's
- 14:36Speaker 1: really hard to, like, dial it back. So good.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Since you guys are working so hard all week, like,
- 14:41Speaker 2: what do you do to kind of, like, take a break? Like,
- 14:44Speaker 2: what are your hobbies? Like, what do you get into
- 14:45Speaker 2: during the week to kind of, like, get your mind
- 14:47Speaker 2: out of.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It for a little bit?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I mean, I do play. We were talking about video
- 14:50Speaker 1: games earlier. I do enjoy video games a lot. Joe
- 14:53Speaker 1: is a video gamer before the show. Really? It helps him, like,
- 14:56Speaker 1: I think it's part of his process. PS5, Xbox One. Oh, really?
- 15:01Speaker 2: I love playing with my PS5 friends. But I'm like,
- 15:05Speaker 2: before it's a show, there's like so much chaos. And
- 15:08Speaker 2: I'm sure you can relate. Obviously, like, there's nothing like
- 15:12Speaker 2: the halls of SNL.
- 15:13Speaker 1: It's just like... Insane. I mean, just in that... And actually,
- 15:16Speaker 1: I should say in that entire building. But it's just...
- 15:18Speaker 1: And you'll just walk around and see all these famous
- 15:21Speaker 1: people just hanging out. Hanging out in the hallways. What
- 15:23Speaker 1: are you doing? Hi, Meryl Streep. Well, you're on the
- 15:26Speaker 1: show today? Okay. Just hanging out. That's right. You guys
- 15:28Speaker 1: were at the 50th. That was insane. It was crazy.
- 15:32Speaker 1: And Nick was there. I had VR goggles and I
- 15:35Speaker 1: watched it. You guys all weren't there? No, just Nick.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We were all invited, but Nick was there. You're like, hey, um...
- 15:43Speaker 1: Just me. Sorry, guys. I'm going to try to get
- 15:45Speaker 1: you passes, though. Nick called, and he was like, no, no,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Joe and Kevin are on the line. They're unavailable. They're unavailable.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That was the craziest night, I think, of my life.
- 15:53Speaker 2: It was.
- 15:54Speaker 1: That many famous people in one room. It was completely insane.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It was ridiculous. It was like.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Man, this is like the plot of a movie. Remember
- 16:02Speaker 2: that show Designated Survivor? Yeah, where everyone, all of the
- 16:05Speaker 2: entertainment industry.
- 16:07Speaker 1: There's no one left except me and Joe. It's you guys.
- 16:10Speaker 1: We're here to help you all.
- 16:12Speaker 2: We will carry entertainment on our backs.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Movies, TV, music. Tom Holland, Spider-Man, I got you. So
- 16:19Speaker 1: you want to be Spider-Man? I guess I'll be Iron Man. Well,
- 16:23Speaker 1: now Iron Man can also be Doctor Doom. Oh, you're right.
- 16:26Speaker 1: We've now learned that they can just keep doing it all.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Which is pretty amazing. I know, right? Marvel fan? Yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: I've definitely caught up. We just saw Spider-Man. Your 14-year-old
- 16:37Speaker 1: was into the new Spider-Man? Yeah, he liked it. We're
- 16:39Speaker 1: a big Holland podcast. We talk about Tom Holland a lot.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I love that, man. We didn't really mean to, but
- 16:44Speaker 1: this is our third time we brought it up. Probably fourth.
- 16:47Speaker 1: He's not going to call us back. I just want
- 16:49Speaker 1: to hang out with him and Zendaya. He's probably going
- 16:52Speaker 1: to be hosting this anytime soon. I don't know. I
- 16:56Speaker 1: don't know if he'll host. I hope he does. He's
- 16:59Speaker 1: rich-rich now. I know. Dude, where's the money sound effect?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Hold on. He's rich-rich now. There it is. I wish
- 17:08Speaker 1: you accidentally played me going, I am wet. I'm so wet.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Question, because I was reading about this and I thought
- 17:16Speaker 2: it was very interesting and similar reason why I got
- 17:20Speaker 2: into music. The kind of comedy, tell me if I'm
- 17:23Speaker 2: wrong here, But, like, because you had a crush, you
- 17:26Speaker 2: started doing some comedy, correct?
- 17:29Speaker 1: That was my. Your entrance. That was kind of my
- 17:32Speaker 1: only skill set to try and attract girls. You guys
- 17:36Speaker 1: are like, interesting. Girls didn't throw themselves at you? What's
- 17:38Speaker 1: that like? I'm so fascinated. Really? Really?
- 17:43Speaker 3: Really?
- 17:45Speaker 1: But, yeah, so I would just do stupid. And, like, quote,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I guess, you know, when you're a kid, you're like, Comedy,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you just kind of quote other funny things you see
- 17:55Speaker 1: on TV or whatnot. You can do it really well.
- 17:57Speaker 1: So that was kind of the vibe. The Pepsi commercial thing,
- 18:00Speaker 1: you know? Which one? What's up? Oh, yeah. Like, that
- 18:03Speaker 1: was the thing. Bud what? What was it? Bud Light.
- 18:06Speaker 2: What's up? But this was, like, back in the day,
- 18:08Speaker 2: so I was quoting, like, old, like, full house. I
- 18:11Speaker 2: will say that was kind of how I got into music,
- 18:15Speaker 2: to be honest. Like, Nick was doing music.
- 18:17Speaker 1: He was the ladies. He was the ladies. Nick was
- 18:21Speaker 1: doing musical theater. He was on Broadway.
- 18:23Speaker 2: And I brought my school crush to watch him. And
- 18:25Speaker 2: she was like, that was incredible.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Like, how does he do it?
- 18:27Speaker 2: And the next day I was like, I do it too.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I was like, mom and dad, I actually think I
- 18:30Speaker 2: want to get into musical theater. Can I do that
- 18:32Speaker 2: audition thing?
- 18:33Speaker 1: I actually really want to do that. I was like,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I've been wanting to do it for years. Thank God
- 18:36Speaker 1: you brought her.
- 18:36Speaker 2: The whole time you're like, I can do that. It's
- 18:38Speaker 2: actually a really easy way to do it. Like the
- 18:40Speaker 2: backward handoff. Like it's nothing.
- 18:41Speaker 1: What show was it? It was, I think he was
- 18:44Speaker 1: Chip in Beauty and the Beast. Chip the teacup.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Chip.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You were on Broadway doing Chip in Beauty and the Beast?
- 18:50Speaker 1: And my crush was like, damn. Look at that Chip.
- 18:54Speaker 1: He looks kind of dorky in that cup costume. He's
- 18:57Speaker 1: got a really hot head. He could never handle the Beast.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I mean, Chip, I guess. Does Chip sing in it? Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: Chip has a full song. He just contributes to a few.
- 19:08Speaker 1: He pops in and out. He sings along with Tale
- 19:11Speaker 1: as old as time. The big line is mama. Okay, mama.
- 19:15Speaker 1: You say mama a lot. He's got a line in
- 19:18Speaker 1: Be Our Guest. Try the gray stuff. It's delicious. Don't
- 19:21Speaker 1: believe me?
- 19:21Speaker 2: Ask the dishes. They can sing. They can dance. That's
- 19:25Speaker 2: incredible that you were on Broadway as a child.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I did not know this. I did like four shows
- 19:28Speaker 1: before 11.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Dang.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah. And so you would just go like every night
- 19:34Speaker 1: to Broadway and go be in a show? We lived
- 19:36Speaker 1: in New Jersey and I would get in the car
- 19:37Speaker 1: with parents and they would drive me. Would you go
- 19:39Speaker 1: to school during the day?
- 19:40Speaker 2: I would go to school during the day, except for
- 19:42Speaker 2: Wednesdays because you have two shows. They would let me
- 19:44Speaker 2: miss school on Wednesdays and I'd have to make.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Up the work.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You were like the kid, you know, how there's always
- 19:47Speaker 1: a liar in your class who's like, I'm on Broadway.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, right. You were the kid who was
- 19:52Speaker 1: actually on Broadway. That was something that happened a lot. No,
- 19:56Speaker 1: you're not.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Trying to prove, like, how much do you get paid?
- 19:58Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm not going to answer this question. I
- 20:00Speaker 1: remember there was a kid. It's not very much. Finally.
- 20:03Speaker 1: There was a kid at our school who was like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: my dad invented the Simpsons. And we're like, no, he didn't.
- 20:10Speaker 1: It's just the lies.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Although if you throw a lie that wild out, it's
- 20:14Speaker 2: like it's either got to be true or like it's
- 20:18Speaker 2: totally not.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And this was back in the day when you couldn't Google.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You couldn't chat. You're just like, no. All right. All right.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Cool.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Congrats. Prove it, bro. Prove it. In addition to SNL,
- 20:31Speaker 1: is it cake? Obviously. Yes. Massive.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Now, you know what this show is and you're not.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Tiny children? Oh, I guess you have tiny children. It's
- 20:38Speaker 2: like the most fun ever. I'm surprised you haven't figured
- 20:42Speaker 2: out all these cameras are cake yet.
- 20:44Speaker 1: That would be fantastic. And this is a fake podcast.
- 20:47Speaker 1: And we're going to cut the cake. We're going to
- 20:49Speaker 1: cut a knife. MSG is made of cake. We've been
- 20:52Speaker 1: working on this for years. You're a fraud. Finally, he
- 20:56Speaker 1: came for our cake thing. What? You guys want to
- 21:00Speaker 1: make MSG out of cake for a podcast with Mikey Day?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 1: It's worth it. Who's paying for it? Elfster. Elfster. Elfster.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Gifts now.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Season one of that show was incredible. I was so
- 21:15Speaker 2: sucked in. Then season two, I hated it.
- 21:17Speaker 1: No, season one was like, I can't believe this is
- 21:19Speaker 1: a show. But it was so captivating. I was so
- 21:21Speaker 1: obsessed with it. It is weirdly, even if you have
- 21:31Speaker 1: no interest in it or you think the concept is
- 21:34Speaker 1: inherently dumb, if you see four objects and one is cake,
- 21:38Speaker 1: you're like, well, I got to try it.
- 21:40Speaker 2: That's actually my feel-good thing at night, no matter what.
- 21:42Speaker 2: If I need to chill out, I need to watch
- 21:45Speaker 2: a cooking show or a baking show.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Yes. Let me ask you a question.
- 21:49Speaker 2: What happens with all the cake?
- 21:51Speaker 1: Who eats all the cake? We jump into the ocean. No,
- 21:54Speaker 1: I don't. Yeah. They give it away a lot, yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and then obviously crew and stuff, and a lot of
- 22:01Speaker 1: the judges want to take some home, and I think they...
- 22:03Speaker 1: I've never seen the process, but I remember at some
- 22:08Speaker 1: point being like, we generate... People are making gym bags
- 22:11Speaker 1: out of cake here. What are we doing with all
- 22:14Speaker 1: of it? I think they... Give it to where it
- 22:17Speaker 1: would be needed.
- 22:18Speaker 2: You know how people make beautiful cakes, but they taste horrible?
- 22:20Speaker 2: Are these cakes also really, really good tasting as well?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Yes. They have to be good because... Part of the
- 22:28Speaker 1: section is they have the taste. Yeah, of course. But
- 22:30Speaker 1: they are really good. It's not like I would think
- 22:33Speaker 1: they taste like glue and stuff. That's what I mean.
- 22:35Speaker 1: They're so ornate.
- 22:36Speaker 2: You would think that the process of the decorations was
- 22:38Speaker 2: way more than that.
- 22:39Speaker 1: There's definitely parts of it that's like, oh, that's just pure... fondant.
- 22:43Speaker 1: They're always like, that's all fondant, so make sure to
- 22:45Speaker 1: get it right in the middle. But the cake itself
- 22:47Speaker 1: is really good. We actually have a cake test.
- 22:50Speaker 2: No way. Are you kidding me? You guys are all
- 22:53Speaker 2: so excited. It's not necessarily, is it cake?
- 22:57Speaker 1: I think that's a cake. It's all cake, but it's
- 23:00Speaker 1: five of the best, apparently, best cakes in New York City.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Alright, well, we're gonna have to make some room. And
- 23:05Speaker 2: we can't leave until we eat them all. I can't
- 23:07Speaker 2: believe you guys are going on stage in how long?
- 23:09Speaker 1: You guys are so chill right now. We're 14 years old.
- 23:13Speaker 1: We eat only cake. You're probably the same way before
- 23:15Speaker 1: you do your show, right? Like, isn't it? You've been
- 23:18Speaker 1: doing it. It's just part of the process. Yeah, that
- 23:20Speaker 1: is true. That's very true. Dude, I am very excited
- 23:23Speaker 1: to be eating cake with the Jonas Brothers.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I have the list of cakes here in front of us. Sick.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And we're going to taste test, and we're going to pick,
- 23:30Speaker 2: because everyone knows we are the best people at judging cakes.
- 23:34Speaker 1: In New York.
- 23:34Speaker 2: We're well known for that. The blue Hey Jonas cake,
- 23:37Speaker 2: that is from Buttercup Bake Shop.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Oh, hello, Buttercup. Thank you, sir. The bidet cake that
- 23:43Speaker 1: says Hey Mikey.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Look at that, dude. Yep, that one is from New
- 23:47Speaker 2: York Bakery and Desserts. Burning Up Strawberry, Mia's Brooklyn, Welcome
- 23:51Speaker 2: to NYC, Magnolia, Nick's, The Little Cupcake Bakery.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm eating cake with the Jonas Brothers. I am very
- 23:58Speaker 1: happy to be here. I just want to say this
- 24:00Speaker 1: in the middle of the cake thing, and you guys
- 24:02Speaker 1: are very talented, and I'm excited to be here. So
- 24:06Speaker 1: I wanted to make sure I said that. Let's eat
- 24:09Speaker 1: on camera. We did an entire. Actually, you know what
- 24:13Speaker 1: we did? We did an entire press tour for.
- 24:15Speaker 2: It was called Waffle House. And everyone assumed we wanted
- 24:18Speaker 2: to eat waffles on camera all the time. Okay, so
- 24:20Speaker 2: that one, I'm going to say.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That's good. Good, but that one's my favorite so far
- 24:23Speaker 1: with the cookies on top. You've already moved on? I
- 24:27Speaker 1: moved on, bro.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I'm taking bites, you know. I got to say the
- 24:29Speaker 1: Hey Jonas cake is my favorite. Yeah, buttercup. It's kind
- 24:32Speaker 1: of like a classic.
- 24:33Speaker 2: It reminds me of a cake you get when you're
- 24:35Speaker 2: a kid at like a birthday party.
- 24:37Speaker 1: It's the one that kind of hurts your teeth because
- 24:38Speaker 1: it's so sweet. It's awesome. You're good on cake. I'm
- 24:41Speaker 1: good on cake, yeah. I'm going to say that's goaded.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Look at this classy guy over here. I'm good on cake.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Here's my vote. One, two, three, four, five. I agree
- 24:52Speaker 1: with your sentiment. Wait, you said one? One, two, three, four, five.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I like it the most because it has our name
- 25:00Speaker 1: on it. Yeah, partially. This one has mine. Yeah, that's
- 25:03Speaker 1: got to be your favorite. I'm eating cake. You're like,
- 25:10Speaker 1: keep eating. Keep eating. How was it? They made me
- 25:15Speaker 1: eat cake. I like eating.
- 25:18Speaker 2: All of our guests on the pod, we ask that
- 25:20Speaker 2: they pull a question from our question bowl. It has
- 25:22Speaker 2: random questions, nothing related to us or any of us
- 25:25Speaker 2: in this room or anyone outside of.
- 25:26Speaker 1: This room, but just random questions. If you don't mind,
- 25:28Speaker 1: pull one, answer it. And we can join you. I
- 25:31Speaker 1: love how we always explain this like it's complicated. I
- 25:33Speaker 1: don't know. Some people are like, we'll ask. It's just
- 25:35Speaker 1: a bowl with questions. You're right. Describe your first sexual experience.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Describe it in detail and include the name of the person.
- 25:46Speaker 1: That is way too.
- 25:52Speaker 1: What is? Kevin wrote it.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Oh, it does say love Kevin. Please underline.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Please is underlined eight times. Be detailed. And don't say
- 26:01Speaker 1: my name. Wake up, Daddy Shum. It's so fun, isn't it?
- 26:07Speaker 1: I love it here already.
- 26:08Speaker 3: And then.
- 26:09Speaker 1: In like a few minutes, you guys are going to
- 26:11Speaker 1: kick me out, and I'm going to leave. I was
- 26:12Speaker 1: in your orbit, and it was magical, and then you're
- 26:15Speaker 1: going to kick me out. What is a completely normal
- 26:19Speaker 1: sound that drives you insane? That's good. Is this for
- 26:23Speaker 1: all of us? We'll start. I guess it's, and I
- 26:29Speaker 1: think this is maybe baked in from when I was
- 26:32Speaker 1: a kid. My mom would yell my name, but when
- 26:35Speaker 1: my wife is downstairs and our son Abbott is upstairs.
- 26:40Speaker 1: He's like, Abbott! And there's a specific tone. Timber and tone. Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 1: And it kind of reminds me of my mom being like, Michael!
- 26:49Speaker 3: Right.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's all brought back to you. Yeah. So maybe that.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:54Speaker 1: That's a good one. That's great. Nothing against my wife
- 26:57Speaker 1: or her needing to alert our son upstairs when she
- 27:02Speaker 1: does it. I think it's just kind of an evolutionary thing.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'm going to go with, for myself, a turn signal.
- 27:10Speaker 1: in a backseat of a car.
- 27:11Speaker 2: In a car? Because it's more the length when you're like,
- 27:13Speaker 2: it's like, you're like, somebody, thank you, I'm fell seen.
- 27:17Speaker 1: And I'm like, four cars back to take a left.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Oh.
- 27:21Speaker 2: And I'm just like, maybe you're in the backseat of
- 27:23Speaker 2: a car. You're not the one in control because I
- 27:24Speaker 2: would just turn it off after a while and be like,
- 27:25Speaker 2: all right, I don't really need to have.
- 27:26Speaker 1: So you're being driven in this car.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Being driven and somebody clicks it early and now it's
- 27:29Speaker 2: just like, it's on for a while. Mine would be,
- 27:32Speaker 2: some people answer the phone by going, ahem, We know
- 27:38Speaker 2: who that is.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Before a hello or just... Hello. I'm like waiting, waiting, waiting.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I hear the.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I'm like... You're like.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Ew.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Hey. I'm like... Skip that part. So a throat clear? Yeah. Clear. Okay.
- 27:54Speaker 1: All right. There's no judgment here. Kev. Kev is like
- 27:59Speaker 1: the sound of the lambs screaming at night.
- 28:02Speaker 3: What?
- 28:04Speaker 1: You know that... My thoughts.
- 28:05Speaker 2: You know that time when you're like perfectly asleep and
- 28:09Speaker 2: the air conditioning turns on in a low hum and just....
- 28:17Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 28:17Speaker 2: I'm backing you up. And it wakes you up out
- 28:20Speaker 2: of that thing. It turns out like... Yeah, it triggers
- 28:24Speaker 2: just more than it should.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel that.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Especially in hotel rooms that you're not used to it,
- 28:29Speaker 2: and it's more jarring than not. 100%.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Are you a light sleeper? Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to take a lot more to wake
- 28:36Speaker 2: me up than a little humbug. Yeah, Nick becomes like
- 28:38Speaker 2: a vampire in a coffin. Ladies and gentlemen, Nick Jonas!
- 28:45Speaker 1: Did you guys sleep, I just imagine you guys all
- 28:48Speaker 1: slept in the same room on three-tiered bunk beds. We
- 28:52Speaker 1: did for a while. We actually did for a bit.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Really?
- 28:55Speaker 1: And you guys got up, you sang, good morning, with
- 28:59Speaker 1: harmony and everything. Good morning, mom. Good morning, mom.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Are the five cakes ready for breakfast yet?
- 29:06Speaker 1: This is actually our meal plan.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Well, actually, Disney did think that, and then they wrote
- 29:10Speaker 2: a show about us doing that and living in a firehouse,
- 29:12Speaker 2: and then we'd just ride a fire pole down for
- 29:14Speaker 2: breakfast every morning.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And they're like, this is your life?
- 29:16Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 29:17Speaker 1: This is you now.
- 29:17Speaker 2: This is your life. And people sometimes come up to
- 29:19Speaker 2: us on the street, and they'll say hi to us,
- 29:20Speaker 2: and they're like, oh, where's your brother?
- 29:22Speaker 1: It's like, we are.
- 29:24Speaker 2: All grown men live in different states. We don't see
- 29:26Speaker 2: each other all the time. Then we go, phew, they
- 29:29Speaker 2: almost figured us out.
- 29:31Speaker 1: They know the truth. We do live in that firehouse.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I bet people encounter all three of you in the
- 29:36Speaker 1: real world just hanging out. Sometimes. Are they just like, yeah,
- 29:40Speaker 1: that makes sense. You guys are always together. Yeah, sometimes. Oh, yeah,
- 29:43Speaker 1: of course.
- 29:45Speaker 2: They're always in matching tracksuits. Guys, I started for a
- 29:49Speaker 2: second forgetting that I wore these.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I'm wearing Knicks glasses. It's super red, and I was like,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I need to see a doctor. I was like, I've
- 29:56Speaker 1: eaten too much cake. Everything's red. I feel crazy. And
- 30:00Speaker 1: then I remember. Everything's red, man. I was like, whoa. What?
- 30:04Speaker 3: What?
- 30:04Speaker 1: You shouldn't have referenced those. What was put in these cakes?
- 30:06Speaker 1: You know. Yo, I'm high or I'm dying.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, yeah, so doc, everything is currently red.
- 30:13Speaker 2: That would be fantastic if it got really serious.
- 30:15Speaker 1: What have you been doing? Well, I ate five cakes
- 30:18Speaker 1: and then. I would love if I was telling a
- 30:20Speaker 1: very serious story and you were just in those nodding.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Man, I'm so sorry about that. I'm so sorry you
- 30:26Speaker 1: had to deal with that. Forgetting those glasses. Let's pitch
- 30:30Speaker 1: that to SNL. Something's on my face. When you guys host,
- 30:34Speaker 1: you guys should host all together. I know. I don't
- 30:38Speaker 1: think there's... Well, there have been at least two... Group hosts.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 1: But it hasn't happened in a very, very long time. See,
- 30:45Speaker 1: that would be fun. Make history yet again. Beautiful guest,
- 30:48Speaker 1: Jonas Brothers.
- 30:50Speaker 2: And.
- 30:50Speaker 1: And.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Host.
- 30:51Speaker 1: And you guys will go, all right, stick around, we're here.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So stick around, we'll be right back. And stick around,
- 30:57Speaker 1: we're here. Once again, us. Why the best time? It's
- 31:00Speaker 1: high pressure, for sure. But if you were nervous, did not.
- 31:04Speaker 1: see it at all yeah.
- 31:05Speaker 2: You crushed I was there I had fun before you
- 31:07Speaker 2: walk out that door opens and you're like this is
- 31:10Speaker 2: real and you were doing music that's a lot because
- 31:12Speaker 2: you have no time and it was during COVID so
- 31:14Speaker 2: the testing was insane they were doing like four tests
- 31:17Speaker 2: a day I just want to say one other thing
- 31:20Speaker 2: that I had the best time with you and Kyle
- 31:24Speaker 2: oh my god the The bachelor party thing?
- 31:26Speaker 1: The bachelor party was so good.
- 31:27Speaker 2: And then also the sketch about the guy from.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Oh, my God. With Cuck? Yeah. Kyle playing Cuck? So
- 31:33Speaker 1: glad Worlds of Fun reopened. I thought they were going
- 31:35Speaker 1: to have to cancel our junior year trip.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Dude, I still can't believe you won the stuff guy
- 31:40Speaker 2: from Seoul.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I know. I've never won the ring toss. The guy
- 31:44Speaker 1: from Seoul.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Yes.
- 31:46Speaker 1: The guy from Soul. It's the best. That Heidi had
- 31:49Speaker 1: in her dressing room for years.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Really?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah, just chilling on the couch is that dude
- 31:54Speaker 1: from Soul.
- 31:55Speaker 2: The whole idea was that we're a bunch of kind
- 31:57Speaker 2: of teens at a theme park who want to couple
- 32:00Speaker 2: up and there's like seven of us and then it
- 32:02Speaker 2: comes to Kyle at the end and we're all like,
- 32:03Speaker 2: Guy and girl saying, we should probably ride together, making
- 32:05Speaker 2: up excuses.
- 32:06Speaker 1: And it goes to him.
- 32:07Speaker 2: He's like, I think maybe I could ride with somebody.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That's right. And he's just holding a giant stuffed version
- 32:12Speaker 1: of the guy from Soul. And they keep being like, you...
- 32:14Speaker 1: He goes, I rode with the guy from Soul on
- 32:17Speaker 1: the last three rides.
- 32:18Speaker 3: So good.
- 32:20Speaker 1: No, you can do it again.
- 32:21Speaker 2: And the guy from Soul is just over and over again.
- 32:25Speaker 1: It's so good. Heidi wrote a sequel, right?
- 32:31Speaker 2: That.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Paul Rudd. It was a Paul Rudd show, a Christmas show.
- 32:36Speaker 1: And we never did it because that is when we
- 32:39Speaker 1: had to shut down for like a spike in COVID.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It wasn't the original COVID. He talked about that on
- 32:46Speaker 1: the pod. Oh, he did? Yeah, it was a crazy story.
- 32:49Speaker 1: I thought I was giving you an exclusive and you've
- 32:51Speaker 1: already heard it. I'm just going to eat nine cakes.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Bring in another cake! Give me another question! This is
- 33:00Speaker 1: the sixth best cake in New York. I'm gonna add.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Now we're going by borough. What if you just kept
- 33:05Speaker 1: bringing it in? I was like, I'm so full. That's
- 33:07Speaker 1: the bit. We just keep bringing cakes, but they're like, okay.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Six days later. That would be so. Now Brooklyn. You
- 33:14Speaker 1: guys never are like, you just stay in it. You're like,
- 33:17Speaker 1: all right, more cakes. You know that, bud. Answer questions,
- 33:20Speaker 1: eat cakes.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Come on.
- 33:21Speaker 1: We got a lot more questions, a lot more cakes.
- 33:24Speaker 1: I will bring you back for that one. Thank you
- 33:26Speaker 1: so much for coming. We appreciate you coming. With the
- 33:29Speaker 1: eating of the cakes and the questions. Of course, you
- 33:31Speaker 1: guys are always the best when you come to the show.
- 33:34Speaker 1: So it'd be fun. I think we'd have a lot
- 33:35Speaker 1: of fun if you guys did. It's a lot of pressure, though.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You're right.
- 33:39Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I might crack. But if you all came together, you'd
- 33:42Speaker 1: kind of have each other to lean on. Oh, yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 2: It would give each other maybe some breaks, too, because
- 33:47Speaker 2: then you don't have to do everything.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. I mean, you guys, hopefully you guys would
- 33:52Speaker 1: be in everything, but some of you would take the
- 33:54Speaker 1: lead in certain sketches. It'd be kind of fun, yeah.
- 33:57Speaker 1: We could break it up a little bit. And then
- 33:58Speaker 1: if you don't like one, I don't like that. It's
- 33:59Speaker 1: not funny. Nick, you do it. No, I think you
- 34:02Speaker 1: do this. You would be hilarious. You would crush this one.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I think this is more Nick than Catholic for sure.
- 34:07Speaker 1: So both of you don't want to do it? No,
- 34:08Speaker 1: but it's yours. It's yours. Well, we appreciate you. Thank
- 34:12Speaker 1: you so much for taking the time. Thank you guys
- 34:13Speaker 1: for having me. We'll send you a track suit next week. Yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 1: you guys are so easy to hang out with. I
- 34:17Speaker 1: really feel like I'm your friend now. You are. You are.
- 34:20Speaker 1: You're in it now. Thank you so much. I'm their friend.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I'm wearing Nick's glasses. Mikey Day, fantastic. What a great guy.
- 34:29Speaker 1: He's hilarious. I didn't mean to hit it. I'm sorry.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I didn't mean to hit that. I was trying to
- 34:35Speaker 1: scroll back. Trying to scroll back.
- 34:37Speaker 2: That was so fun. Mikey Day is so fun. We
- 34:38Speaker 2: ate cakes with Mikey Day. And what a guy.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So good. I feel like there's got to be a
- 34:43Speaker 1: lot of pressure on comedians when they come on anything.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Should be funny. You're like one of those funny guys.
- 34:48Speaker 2: You've got to be funny. Which I never want anyone
- 34:52Speaker 2: to feel the pressure of that.
- 34:53Speaker 1: For us funny people, it's... it's a challenge we.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Have to we get it you just relax we'll take
- 34:59Speaker 2: care of the comedy you'll get the comedy unlocked alright
