- 0:13Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside. You can
- 0:17Speaker 1: laugh with us inside the Dree House. I'm Daniel Malley
- 0:21Speaker 1: along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Freddie August. Uh,
- 0:32Speaker 1: what what's the day today? All my days are running together.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Read the room, Dan, it's at the top of it.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the top of our screen there for the recording.
- 0:43Speaker 2: So even some excavation points there, thank you.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I'm used to looking at the tier.
- 0:49Speaker 2: It didn't help.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Look it's normal font. It's not bold or palicized or
- 0:57Speaker 1: large font. I'm used to looking into the upper right
- 0:59Speaker 1: where it's says start record in record and all the
- 1:02Speaker 1: other things that we have, all the other things that
- 1:04Speaker 1: we use and play with, or on my right side
- 1:06Speaker 1: of the screen. So to look back.
- 1:08Speaker 2: There's there's just so much up there. I mean that duckhead.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Okay, look that's it. Maybe I've seen one too many
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oliver Stone movies and so I'm hesitant to look back
- 1:23Speaker 1: into the left to see the date of the room.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Even they need to come up. They need to come
- 1:28Speaker 3: up with a new font called Danny's Big pencil.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I did have a big pencil in school with my
- 1:38Speaker 1: name on it.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Yeah, uh, and I think you are. This is kind
- 1:43Speaker 3: of indicative of you having some brain issues, because it's
- 1:47Speaker 3: been bugging me since yesterday. But you kept calling Optimist
- 1:51Speaker 3: Prime a Decepticon and he's an autobot.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I know Optimist Prime is an autobot. What happened, you see.
- 1:59Speaker 1: What happened was yesterday when I mentioned Decepticons in the
- 2:02Speaker 1: same sentence with optimis the Tesla bot that's being rolled
- 2:06Speaker 1: out next year. Is there's some names and words that,
- 2:12Speaker 1: for whatever reason, my brain has not committed to memory.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Some examples of that are about half the things my
- 2:20Speaker 1: wife says, and I don't choose it. That's just what
- 2:21Speaker 1: my brain does on its own. And I swear the
- 2:24Speaker 1: other thing is, for whatever reason, my brain has not
- 2:28Speaker 1: committed to memory. The name of the main bad guy
- 2:33Speaker 1: from Transformers. I know it's Decepticons. I remembered the name
- 2:37Speaker 1: Starscream as the jet that flies around. I remember Optimist Prime, Bumblebee.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Obviously those are really easy because of the movies, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: I also played with the toys as a kid. But
- 2:46Speaker 1: despite that, I cannot remember. I cannot remember the name
- 2:51Speaker 1: of the main Decepticon bad guy in Transformers. And that's
- 2:56Speaker 1: what happened yesterday. So it's not that I confused Optimis
- 3:00Speaker 1: as a Decepticon. It's just because I started to say
- 3:02Speaker 1: decepticon and I couldn't remember his name, and so then
- 3:04Speaker 1: I just didn't say anything else.
- 3:06Speaker 3: What was it? He was the gun Megatron, Megatron, that's
- 3:10Speaker 3: thank you, Megatron. Yeah, I had. I had the gun
- 3:13Speaker 3: that lit up at the end. It was the coolest thing.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I was like, this is the best. I don't even
- 3:17Speaker 3: know what I got it for, but my mom bought
- 3:20Speaker 3: it for me. It was the coolest thing.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Cool talk about it, Okay, Yeah, make sure you're talking
- 3:24Speaker 1: about a toy, not an actual globe gun.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, my Hindu mom's gonna buy me a gun.
- 3:32Speaker 1: She may not have known. Maybe she was going through
- 3:34Speaker 1: uh A Town East Mall. I didn't realize.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised if they did sell them there.
- 3:39Speaker 3: That's correct, just for personal safety when you walk around
- 3:43Speaker 3: the shop. Yeah, so that was just bugging me from yesterday.
- 3:48Speaker 3: But as you cleared it up, you couldn't remember the name.
- 3:50Speaker 3: We got it.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Now we know, and it's what's the name? Prey just
- 3:56Speaker 1: said it.
- 3:56Speaker 3: See this is what happened, Megatron, Thank you, yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I almost said megatoade, and that's that's not it is
- 4:02Speaker 1: the reason why delivery is so expensive in Seattle is
- 4:05Speaker 1: because like you get a dime bag with everything. You know,
- 4:11Speaker 1: what's interesting. They're they're like I I have done like
- 4:15Speaker 1: a couple of drugs since we've been here, but nothing
- 4:17Speaker 1: major because i'd like you, Trey, I don't like uh
- 4:21Speaker 1: being out of control. I don't like altered states type
- 4:24Speaker 1: of stuff. That's why I've never done being in.
- 4:26Speaker 2: A fog and not remembering things. M hmm. Yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 1: See, I've already got that on my own. I don't
- 4:31Speaker 1: need drugs to enhance that.
- 4:33Speaker 3: That'd be amazing if weed made you remember everything, like
- 4:36Speaker 3: it just had the adverse effect, like you just remember
- 4:39Speaker 3: like based.
- 4:39Speaker 1: On recent experiments, that's not the case.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Okay. I was like, maybe you just turned into good
- 4:43Speaker 3: wool hunting.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So chalkboard is safe around me.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Just starts solving that problems.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Yeah, the while we're beginning, lots and lots of things delivered.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Cannabis has not been one of them. Although we did.
- 5:00Speaker 1: We did stop into a shop the other day and
- 5:02Speaker 1: get a couple of gummies, and turns out I have
- 5:04Speaker 1: to be careful with those because we did know going
- 5:08Speaker 1: into it some of the best advice that you can
- 5:10Speaker 1: be given and that you should follow, and that is,
- 5:14Speaker 1: don't ever eat edibles when you're hungry. Yeah, otherwise you
- 5:19Speaker 1: end up like that dude who actually was on a
- 5:21Speaker 1: flight from Seattle to Dallas with no shirt and him
- 5:24Speaker 1: saying he ate twenty edible cookies and getting hauled off
- 5:29Speaker 1: and zip tized by federal authorities.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah. And also listen to the directions when they say, like,
- 5:37Speaker 3: if you don't smoke often, it could take up to
- 5:40Speaker 3: an hour to kick in, because I never thought i'd
- 5:45Speaker 3: ever witness anybody overdose on weed. And then my ex
- 5:49Speaker 3: wife we went to the dispensary that was bying the house,
- 5:52Speaker 3: got a chocolate bar. It says wait, depending on regularity
- 5:58Speaker 3: or whatever how often you smoke, wait between fifteen minutes
- 6:02Speaker 3: to an hour.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And that's a pretty big window. I mean fifteen minutes
- 6:06Speaker 1: or an hour.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, because I mean, like you're still supposed to eat
- 6:09Speaker 3: on before you take it so it doesn't hit an
- 6:12Speaker 3: empty stomach. And she gave one square of the chocolate bar,
- 6:16Speaker 3: and I took one square, and I waited, and about
- 6:19Speaker 3: thirty five minutes in She's like, this is crap. Nothing
- 6:23Speaker 3: is happening. They sold us some bunk stuff and I'm like,
- 6:25Speaker 3: it's California and a dispensary. It's not it's not. They
- 6:28Speaker 3: didn't just sell us a chocolate bar.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, this isn't just a mister goodbar.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So then she took another one and I was like, Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 3: now you gotta wait another ten minutes for the first
- 6:38Speaker 3: one to kick in, and then after that it's gonna
- 6:41Speaker 3: be about thirty minutes before that one kicks in. And
- 6:43Speaker 3: we waited another twenty minutes and she's like, this is
- 6:45Speaker 3: bs man, this is not working, and took a third
- 6:48Speaker 3: one and I was still on my number one and
- 6:50Speaker 3: my number the first one started to hit and I
- 6:52Speaker 3: was like, oh, here we go, and she stood up,
- 6:55Speaker 3: looked at me, and then passed the f outee on
- 7:00Speaker 3: the couch for six hours.
- 7:01Speaker 1: That actually sounds about right, because was it last year
- 7:07Speaker 1: Tara and I involved ourselves in a drug transaction. One
- 7:11Speaker 1: of the bars on Saint Thomas on the Beach has
- 7:13Speaker 1: a lot of weed, so we asked the guy who
- 7:20Speaker 1: was the cook at the bar slash drug dealer when
- 7:23Speaker 1: he was on break, like, hey, can we get a
- 7:25Speaker 1: joint from you and our coolest never done a drug
- 7:29Speaker 1: transaction in our lives type of thing, because normally, whenever
- 7:32Speaker 1: I've had it in the past, it was just.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Kind of there.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I didn't have to actually be there for the point
- 7:36Speaker 1: of sale, so here I had to be the guy asking.
- 7:38Speaker 1: It's like say, man, k K, can I get some
- 7:43Speaker 1: drugs from you? Also? Can I get aside a ranch?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Because you forgot that when you go back to the kitchen.
- 7:52Speaker 2: And here's another PSA.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Generally for people, if if you're not used to smoking
- 7:58Speaker 5: that I see all too often, don't drink and do
- 8:04Speaker 5: weed if you're not.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Used to it.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Being cross faded is a real thing and it turns
- 8:09Speaker 5: out to be really problematic for people.
- 8:12Speaker 6: That's what happened to me on that day because I
- 8:14Speaker 6: was already at the bar and we had already had
- 8:17Speaker 6: some drinks, and then I asked the cook slash drug
- 8:20Speaker 6: dealer of the bar, hey, can we get a joint?
- 8:22Speaker 1: And then he said sure, and then he rolled it,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and I said, you have to roll it for us
- 8:25Speaker 1: because you don't want to see me do this. This
- 8:26Speaker 1: is going to be ugly and half of us get
- 8:27Speaker 1: end up on you on the floor, so he rolled
- 8:30Speaker 1: us our joint. Then we grabbed our to go food
- 8:32Speaker 1: from him, our side of ranch and our weed and
- 8:34Speaker 1: went home. And then we smoked the joint. And since
- 8:38Speaker 1: I can't do anything in moderation, I basically smoked the
- 8:41Speaker 1: whole joint and like your ex wife, Raj, I passed
- 8:44Speaker 1: the f out and when I woke up, I had
- 8:49Speaker 1: severe motion sickness. And I'm assuming that that was because
- 8:52Speaker 1: of like Trey just said, maybe I was cross faded.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It was a combination of the weed and the booze
- 8:57Speaker 1: coming together to join a coming together to form a
- 9:02Speaker 1: super autobot.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Also, that was the whitest transaction I've ever heard.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it was.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It absolutely was. There was There was absolutely zero cool
- 9:17Speaker 1: in my body when it came to buying the joint.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I like, did you ask for some grass A little
- 9:28Speaker 3: left handed cigarette.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I did start the conversation with say, man.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I'm not a cop.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I mean I know a lot of them, but they're
- 9:43Speaker 1: not here right now.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Because you also said point of say you've never been
- 9:48Speaker 3: at the point of sale.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I did not.
- 9:51Speaker 3: They usually just called that some dude's house.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Well that's that. That was my experience with illegal drugs.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It was ever me trying to make a purchase. It
- 10:01Speaker 1: was always just being somewhere where it already was, And
- 10:05Speaker 1: it wasn't involving me having to go to the going
- 10:08Speaker 1: to the drug dealer and asking for the drugs. And
- 10:12Speaker 1: at the same time I say say, man, can I
- 10:14Speaker 1: get some left handed grassdobies? I pull up my shirt
- 10:17Speaker 1: to show that I'm not wearing a wire. And I
- 10:19Speaker 1: also say, by the way, I'm not a cop. Not
- 10:21Speaker 1: that I needed to say it, because the drug dealer
- 10:23Speaker 1: he already knew just based on what I had said,
- 10:27Speaker 1: because he would have said, cops are way cooler when
- 10:29Speaker 1: they ask for drugs.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 5: What is amusing in this day and age is the
- 10:35Speaker 5: fact that because so few people carry cash anymore, a
- 10:40Speaker 5: lot of drug dealers are forced to take like venmo.
- 10:44Speaker 2: My guy did.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I had to ask him. I was like, say, I
- 10:49Speaker 1: don't have any cash on me, do you. He's like, yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 1: I got Venmo. He held it up right there. His
- 10:54Speaker 1: q rco was ready.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Man, Yeah, he was ready. He knew it when he
- 10:59Speaker 3: saw you. This is going to be a paperless transaction.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Except for the actual joint papers.
- 11:07Speaker 2: That's right.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Did you give him a five star rating when you
- 11:10Speaker 3: were done, did you get.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Of course, it was a really tightly rolled joint. I
- 11:17Speaker 1: appreciated the.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Crash put in the description of the transaction Ranch.
- 11:25Speaker 1: That was Yeah, that was the code. That's how we
- 11:30Speaker 1: hit it from the authorities. We got to make sure
- 11:33Speaker 1: no coppers find out what we're up to.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Can't get caught with the reefer man.
- 11:40Speaker 1: The fuss it's hot in her trail's craft.
- 11:44Speaker 2: They were just buying ranch.
- 11:49Speaker 7: Oh drugs, this is online every house on air. Hey,
- 12:08Speaker 7: you know Dan, tell me about Lisa in a car. Oh,
- 12:12Speaker 7: thank god you reminded me.
- 12:15Speaker 1: I was getting a phone call near the end of
- 12:16Speaker 1: that segment because they're delivering gas to our house in
- 12:19Speaker 1: Saint Thomas, and I was like, I feel like there's
- 12:21Speaker 1: something I'm supposed to be doing. Thank you for that reminder, Trepe.
- 12:24Speaker 3: They're delivering gas. Gas goes in a car. Fair Least.
- 12:29Speaker 1: That's an excellent segue. Thank you, Roger. I appreciate that.
- 12:32Speaker 1: So there are two things that we can never have
- 12:35Speaker 1: enough of. That is time and money, and fair Least,
- 12:38Speaker 1: the newest sponsor inside the Treehouse, can help you save both.
- 12:42Speaker 1: And here's how fair Least can save you time, because
- 12:45Speaker 1: the car buying process is grueling and it's awful and
- 12:48Speaker 1: it's terrible when you go to a dealership because no
- 12:51Speaker 1: fund has ever had at a dealership. You go in
- 12:52Speaker 1: there with hope and dreams of rolling out the new car.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Hours and hours later, you still don't have a car,
- 12:58Speaker 1: and now you're stuck drinking really poor car dealership breakroom coffee,
- 13:03Speaker 1: and no one's happy hours are wasted. Sometimes you don't
- 13:05Speaker 1: even get the car the same day, even though you're
- 13:07Speaker 1: staring right at it. Fair LEAs can handle everything online
- 13:10Speaker 1: or over the phone. No wasting hours in a dealership
- 13:14Speaker 1: and waiting on a manager to come in and approve
- 13:18Speaker 1: something that you know is nonsense. You can browse inventory
- 13:20Speaker 1: online at fairlease dot org, or you can search for
- 13:25Speaker 1: a specific vehicle so you can browse see what I want,
- 13:28Speaker 1: or if you want a specific one, they can find
- 13:31Speaker 1: it and then bring it to you, and then you
- 13:33Speaker 1: can sign all the documents online. No wasted time. Now
- 13:35Speaker 1: for the money, leasing costs less than buying. Instead of
- 13:38Speaker 1: paying for the whole vehicle, you're only paying for the
- 13:41Speaker 1: least portion. So unless you're driving your vehicles into the dirt,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you're already leasing but you're just paying more than you
- 13:48Speaker 1: should because when you finance a car, when was the
- 13:50Speaker 1: last time you actually paid that thing off? It's almost never.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This is why leasing is a great option for everybody.
- 13:57Speaker 1: And you can call fair least to see the difference
- 13:59Speaker 1: leasing can make in your life and your budget. Any make,
- 14:03Speaker 1: any model brought right to you and for less. It's
- 14:06Speaker 1: not just fair it's fairlease. So go to fairlease dot
- 14:09Speaker 1: org to find that phone number or online email to
- 14:12Speaker 1: contact your leasing consultant and get your next new car
- 14:15Speaker 1: from Fairlease. The website again, fairlease dot org. That's fairlease
- 14:20Speaker 1: dot org.
- 14:25Speaker 4: You're in the Treehouse, visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 14:33Speaker 1: This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you buy
- 14:35Speaker 1: cook DFW Roofing and Restoration for your free roof inspection
- 14:41Speaker 1: and to get yourself on the cooklist. Give them a
- 14:43Speaker 1: call eight three to three cook DFW. That's eight three
- 14:46Speaker 1: to three cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com. And
- 14:50Speaker 1: of course I didn't mention it when I should have,
- 14:52Speaker 1: but the first segment was brought to us by Fairlease
- 14:54Speaker 1: for your new vehicle needs and to pay less than buying.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Contact our friends at fairlease, fairlease dot org. That's important,

- 15:09Speaker 1: driven used leased vehicles, contact our folks at fairleast fair
- 15:15Speaker 1: lease dot org. That's why I've saved money over the years.
- 15:18Speaker 1: A quick side note is you can lease a new
- 15:21Speaker 1: car for less than you can buy one as far
- 15:23Speaker 1: as the monthly payments are concerned. You can save even
- 15:25Speaker 1: more money if you lease a pre owned or pre
- 15:29Speaker 1: leased vehicle. So if you lease, you can lease a
- 15:32Speaker 1: used vehicle, and then you're saving even more money. So
- 15:34Speaker 1: just some friendly, helpful advice from your neighborhood tree alsold
- 15:38Speaker 1: fair least dot org.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Appreciate that.
- 15:40Speaker 1: So we have lots of news to get to because
- 15:42Speaker 1: it is a Friday, Friday, August I'm looking upper left,
- 15:47Speaker 1: twenty third, twenty twenty four. Thank you for putting it
- 15:50Speaker 1: in the room title tory. I appreciate that. But before
- 15:54Speaker 1: I can tell you about chihuahuas and cocaine sharks and
- 15:58Speaker 1: how dangerous couples therapy can be, we must first do
- 16:02Speaker 1: the Friday tradition inside the treehouse of birthdays again. Today
- 16:10Speaker 1: is Fred Day, August twenty third, twenty twenty four. Birthdays today.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Little YACHTI is twenty seven. He is probably best known
- 16:21Speaker 1: for Maclamore's Marmalade. He did stir some minor controversy in
- 16:25Speaker 1: the rap community by including two men kissing on the
- 16:28Speaker 1: cover of his twenty seventeen debut album, Teenage Emotions. But
- 16:33Speaker 1: you know Little YACHTI the rap community twenty seven today.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Congratulations Dan.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Let's see other birthdays today. From The Strokes and the Voids,
- 16:44Speaker 1: Julian Casablancas is forty five. That's a really good name
- 16:48Speaker 1: for a lead singer. It seems like it's kind of wasted,
- 16:50Speaker 1: though you never really hear it. Scott Khan, who plays
- 16:54Speaker 1: Dano on Hawaii five, Oh, he's forty eight today. He's
- 16:57Speaker 1: also from a ton of movies in including Ready to Rumble,
- 17:02Speaker 1: Ocean's eleven, twelve, and thirteen, and the football cult classic
- 17:07Speaker 1: Varsity Blues, where he played Tweeter. I know that James
- 17:12Speaker 1: Conson also James Conson Raj. I know you have not
- 17:16Speaker 1: seen a lot of the same movies that Trey and
- 17:17Speaker 1: I have, especially when it came to growing up. You
- 17:21Speaker 1: had a different upbringing than we did, so you saw
- 17:23Speaker 1: different movies. Have you seen Varsity Blues? I need to
- 17:26Speaker 1: ask you that, because while you haven't seen some other
- 17:28Speaker 1: classics like Christmas Vacation or a Christmas Story, you did
- 17:35Speaker 1: play high school football in the suite, So did you
- 17:39Speaker 1: see Varsity Blues?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Not only did I see Varsity Blues, but I had
- 17:42Speaker 3: a roommate for two months in college and he was
- 17:45Speaker 3: in the movie as an extra. He was a featured
- 17:49Speaker 3: football player, so he did his own quote stunts and
- 17:51Speaker 3: got paid a little more. And then years later I
- 17:55Speaker 3: got to meet the guy that played Billy Bob, who
- 17:59Speaker 3: has since asked away, but he was up at Hyenas
- 18:02Speaker 3: and we exchanged information. We were gonna work on some writing,
- 18:06Speaker 3: some jokes for him, and he'd lost I think like
- 18:09Speaker 3: two hundred pounds at that point. Yeah, So not only
- 18:13Speaker 3: did I see, and then there was the name dropping things.
- 18:16Speaker 3: I was at the Roosevelt Hotel to meet a friend
- 18:19Speaker 3: of mine and I guess they were doing an audition,
- 18:22Speaker 3: and I just heard somebody yell, I can't work with
- 18:25Speaker 3: this a hole and come busting out of the room
- 18:27Speaker 3: and it was Edward Norton was sitting in a chair
- 18:29Speaker 3: and out was walking scot Con and he was furious.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I guess their audition didn't go as planned?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Was Was this the same event that you that you
- 18:37Speaker 1: were at the Roosevelt Hotel that mel Gibson was there
- 18:40Speaker 1: saying how he can't have anything to drink because he could.
- 18:42Speaker 1: If he does, he will do what Well that.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Was at the Sunset Tower, but he would drink every
- 18:49Speaker 3: bottle and f every model.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Gotcha. Okay, so two different things, but.
- 18:54Speaker 3: You know, on different streets, but very close proximity. But yeah,
- 18:57Speaker 3: so I have my little six degrees of separation for
- 18:59Speaker 3: a Varsity Blue. I love the movie every time it's on,
- 19:01Speaker 3: have to watch it absolutely.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Do you all know the story about how mel Gibson
- 19:05Speaker 5: got the original role of Mad Max.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I'm not sure I do so, because he was he
- 19:17Speaker 2: was such he was.
- 19:18Speaker 5: He had been basically on a bender, had got in
- 19:21Speaker 5: this really bad bar fight, stitches like broken collarbone, whatever,
- 19:27Speaker 5: and got checked himself out of the hospital. I think
- 19:31Speaker 5: he had maybe a broken arm too, checked himself out
- 19:34Speaker 5: of the hospital to go to the audition looking like that,
- 19:37Speaker 5: and you know they immediately saw him and like you're
- 19:40Speaker 5: the one.
- 19:41Speaker 1: He's so method, Sign him up right now, give them
- 19:47Speaker 1: give him the part.
- 19:47Speaker 3: It's his that's crazy.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I wonder did the same thing happen when
- 19:53Speaker 1: they cast Fury Road for Shirley's Thorn, Like, did she
- 19:57Speaker 1: have an accident sticking her head in the oven? And
- 19:59Speaker 1: she he didn't have time to put any makeup on.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Shut up, and they said, yeah, that's furiosa. It wasn't
- 20:06Speaker 1: even written into the script.
- 20:07Speaker 3: It was just man.
- 20:08Speaker 1: She looks like someone that could, you know, hold her
- 20:11Speaker 1: own in a Mad Max franchise with the top half
- 20:13Speaker 1: of her face man sin just like a Looney Tunes
- 20:15Speaker 1: explosion went off in front of her face.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I saw the trail. I never saw the movie, but
- 20:20Speaker 3: I did see the trailer, so I understand the imagery
- 20:22Speaker 3: that you were portraying.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I'm glad.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Other birthdays today celebrating Scott con As forty eight years old.
- 20:30Speaker 1: He played Darth Maul and The Phantom Menace. He was
- 20:32Speaker 1: also in Solo, a Star Wars story. He was also
- 20:35Speaker 1: Snake Eyes and g I Joe Rise of Cobra, and
- 20:38Speaker 1: he was towed in X Men. Ray Park is fifty.
- 20:43Speaker 1: So Trey ray Park, the guy that played one of
- 20:46Speaker 1: the coolest Star Wars characters of all time? Is your age?
- 20:50Speaker 3: Now?
- 20:52Speaker 2: Oh wasn't he?
- 20:53Speaker 8: In?
- 20:54Speaker 2: He made a cameo in deadpooling Wolverine.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Didn't he different different person played Toad in that film.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I've. I've Instagram and social media in general
- 21:06Speaker 1: has been feeding me a steady diet of Deadpool and
- 21:08Speaker 1: Wolverine information for the last three weeks or month, whatever
- 21:11Speaker 1: it is, since the movie came out. And so I
- 21:13Speaker 1: know that you know that the Toad then X Men
- 21:18Speaker 1: played by Ray Park did not reprise his role for
- 21:20Speaker 1: the same character in Deadpool and Wolverine. I also know
- 21:25Speaker 1: that the Juggernaut in Deadpool and Wolverine is Ryan Reynolds
- 21:31Speaker 1: buff guy stunt double from Free Guy.
- 21:34Speaker 2: I didn't know that nice Pool was reynolds twin brother.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I thought that was him. No, that's him.
- 21:42Speaker 3: He doesn't have no no, no, it's he's the call
- 21:46Speaker 3: fake twin. Yeah, because he does. He does a lot
- 21:48Speaker 3: of stuff for him, the fake twin. And then the
- 21:51Speaker 3: Cowboy Pool was Matthew McConaughey.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And then the baby Pool was one of Ryan and
- 21:58Speaker 1: Blake's kids, like all their kids were in. It was
- 22:01Speaker 1: a family film at the end of the day, because
- 22:04Speaker 1: every Rile, every Reynolds kid is in the movie. It
- 22:07Speaker 1: is one of the dead Bolvarians.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's not as actual twin brother, no, because
- 22:14Speaker 3: he has two older brothers, he's the youngest.
- 22:20Speaker 1: So yeah, he doesn't actually have a twin I could
- 22:23Speaker 1: see why they'd be confusing, though. Other birthdays today Shelley
- 22:27Speaker 1: Long famously as Diane Chambers on Cheers, She's seventy five today,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and Rick Springfield is seventy five, the star of General
- 22:38Speaker 1: Hospital and rock star singing Jesse's Girl. And finally, Rudy
- 22:44Speaker 1: Rudiger seventy six today. He is the real life inspiration
- 22:48Speaker 1: for the movie Rudy. So, speaking of classic football films,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the person that the movie Rudy was made for is
- 22:56Speaker 1: seventy six today.
- 22:58Speaker 3: I heard he's not a nice guy. Like, that's so disappointing.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Joe Montana, who is quarterback of Rudy's Notre Dame team uh,
- 23:07Speaker 1: says a lot of the touching and inspirational aspects of
- 23:10Speaker 1: the movie were complete bs.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Which is interesting because Joe Montana is not a nice
- 23:14Speaker 3: guy at all either. How big of an a hole
- 23:17Speaker 3: do you have to be for Joe Montana to be
- 23:19Speaker 3: like that? Dud's an a hole?
- 23:23Speaker 1: God, damn tryhards. That movie, though, really was like the
- 23:32Speaker 1: anthem for the tryhard athletes, especially the tryhard football players.
- 23:36Speaker 1: Because that there, that was your movie, because you think
- 23:39Speaker 1: maybe maybe one day, all these other guys are going
- 23:43Speaker 1: to go to the new coach and turn in their
- 23:45Speaker 1: jerseys and say, we're not playing unless Dan play. We're
- 23:51Speaker 1: not playing unless Raj plays.
- 23:53Speaker 3: No, that didn't happen, like pleases God, don't let Raj
- 23:56Speaker 3: play yours.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Yours was the opposite. Everyone turned in their jerseys and
- 24:00Speaker 1: that if he plays, we all quit.
- 24:01Speaker 3: No, they just took all my just they took all
- 24:04Speaker 3: of my gear and hit it. So they're like, he
- 24:05Speaker 3: can't play, so you just send him home. Had no business.
- 24:11Speaker 3: They were.
- 24:12Speaker 1: They were they were mean, but they were also looking
- 24:15Speaker 1: out for you. They were if you want, looking out
- 24:17Speaker 1: for your best interest.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Did you ever see the movie Lucas Raj.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yes, the Bollywood version is called.
- 24:35Speaker 3: He's Got a Great Dance Number.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the halftime on it get hurt, the hell of
- 24:46Speaker 1: a halftime show. Let's talk to Daniel Cook now from
- 24:53Speaker 1: Cook df W Roofing and Restoration eight three three. Cook
- 24:56Speaker 1: df w's the phone number, the website, cookdfw dot com.
- 25:00Speaker 1: The website I bring up very specifically because we've told
- 25:02Speaker 1: people many times in the past to check out that
- 25:05Speaker 1: website for some of the photos of the work that
- 25:07Speaker 1: you guys have done, both on the house and inside,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and I'm wondering, are there any new ones up there
- 25:14Speaker 1: that you can show us that people go to and go, oh,
- 25:17Speaker 1: look at that. That's pretty dan.
- 25:18Speaker 9: We're constantly updating that project page on our website. So
- 25:22Speaker 9: if you go to our website and the very top
- 25:24Speaker 9: one of the menu items sussessed projects, we got hundreds
- 25:27Speaker 9: and hundreds and hundreds of projects on there that's on
- 25:29Speaker 9: a map. The problem is is that I sometimes forget
- 25:34Speaker 9: to send all the pictures into the office, and so
- 25:37Speaker 9: while I'm in the field actually doing all the work,
- 25:40Speaker 9: it's hard to remember to take all the pictures and
- 25:42Speaker 9: then send them at the same time. So that's a
- 25:44Speaker 9: work in progress. We're gonna get better on it, though.
- 25:47Speaker 9: My goal here in the next month or so is
- 25:49Speaker 9: to get majority of those hundreds of hundreds. I mean, seriously,
- 25:52Speaker 9: we probably got like five hundred projects on here, but
- 25:55Speaker 9: there's only like maybe fifty with pictures, So I got
- 25:58Speaker 9: to get better at that. I want to make sure
- 25:59Speaker 9: we can show our clients what we're able to do,
- 26:01Speaker 9: and it also gives them a great avenue or tool
- 26:05Speaker 9: if they're interested in looking different shingle colors. You can
- 26:07Speaker 9: pull up shingle colors too on our website and see
- 26:10Speaker 9: what kind of the homes look like for different colors.
- 26:12Speaker 9: So it's a really good useful tool and we just
- 26:15Speaker 9: implemented this recently on our website.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Go to cookdfw dot com. Check out some of the
- 26:20Speaker 1: projects that they've got on there, both on top of
- 26:22Speaker 1: the house and inside of it, and check back often
- 26:26Speaker 1: to see some of the additions that are made once
- 26:30Speaker 1: Daniel finally starts doing it for the gram. Give the
- 26:32Speaker 1: man a call for any and all of those roofing, restoration,
- 26:35Speaker 1: remodeling needs. A three to three cook DFW website cookdfw

- 27:00Speaker 1: Give a Jacqueline a call to one fourth three six
- 27:02Speaker 1: eight thirty eight thirty eight. Two one fourth three six
- 27:04Speaker 1: eight thirty eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas
- 27:08Speaker 1: dot Com. All right, it is Friday. We need to
- 27:12Speaker 1: jump into some deep going on outside. Hang on, there's
- 27:18Speaker 1: weird noises outside and I gotta look. Give me a second.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Uh oh, it's a home depot truck. The girl Scouts
- 27:28Speaker 1: have found me.
- 27:34Speaker 3: And that's a lot of minutes.
- 27:36Speaker 1: It turns out of it looks like someone's getting an
- 27:39Speaker 1: appliance delivery.
- 27:41Speaker 2: At least not a protester playing the bongos.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Thank god. The last thing I want to be is
- 27:47Speaker 1: the last thing I want to have happen is death
- 27:49Speaker 1: by drum circle. All right, let's jump into some news.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I will tell you about the chihuahua. I also will
- 28:01Speaker 1: tell you about how couple's therapy can be quite dangerous.
- 28:04Speaker 1: But first I need to tell you about the cocaine
- 28:07Speaker 1: sharks off the coast of Florida. We first discussed the
- 28:13Speaker 1: existence of cocaine sharks at our road show at the
- 28:17Speaker 1: Foe in Dallas a couple of weeks ago. But now
- 28:23Speaker 1: environmental scientist doctor Tracy Fanara is weighing in on the
- 28:26Speaker 1: topic of cocaine sharks. But Florida's beaches weren't there.
- 28:31Speaker 5: They were sharp nosed coke sharks, but they were off
- 28:36Speaker 5: the coast of like.
- 28:38Speaker 2: South America somewhere, I think.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Yes, Yeah, the sharp nosed sharks high on cocaine, off
- 28:47Speaker 1: the waters of Venezuela. Yeah, able to cut their own
- 28:52Speaker 1: lines with their own very impressive species. So on the
- 28:57Speaker 1: heels of the cocaine sharks off the coast of South
- 29:01Speaker 1: America that can cut their own lines and snort their
- 29:04Speaker 1: own blow that they find in the cocaine infested waters.
- 29:09Speaker 1: That stuff has a tendency to go with the flow literally,
- 29:12Speaker 1: because the currents will take it up to Florida as well.
- 29:15Speaker 1: And that's what's happening. You've got Florida beaches making headlines
- 29:19Speaker 1: in the past thanks to a huge volume of cocaine
- 29:22Speaker 1: that frequently washes up. These instances are the result of
- 29:26Speaker 1: drug traffickers from Central and South America who attempt to
- 29:30Speaker 1: smuggle cocaine and other narcotics into the United States. Many
- 29:34Speaker 1: of these traffickers will travel via boter aircraft, dropping bales
- 29:37Speaker 1: of cocaine into the water to have aid detection by
- 29:40Speaker 1: law enforcement or pass the drugs along to fellow traffickers.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Or if you've seen any of the if you've seen
- 29:46Speaker 1: the sequels, to the Bad Boys movies. That's the plot
- 29:49Speaker 1: of one of them right there, because that was a
- 29:51Speaker 1: whole operation that they had to bust, was drugs coming
- 29:55Speaker 1: into the United States off the coast of Florida with
- 29:58Speaker 1: the same exact method. And then we've got doctor Tracy
- 30:06Speaker 1: Fanara weighing in on these situations. During Discovery Shark Week
- 30:11Speaker 1: last year, researchers took to the coastline of Florida to
- 30:13Speaker 1: determine whether these bales of cocaine could be having an
- 30:16Speaker 1: adverse effect on sharks in the area. One of the
- 30:19Speaker 1: researchers behind that project was doctor Tracy Fanara, an environmental
- 30:23Speaker 1: scientist in Florida. RAJM, have you ever seen a man
- 30:30Speaker 1: fall in love live in front of you, right before
- 30:33Speaker 1: your eyes? I have, I have not, You're about to. Okay, Okay,
- 30:42Speaker 1: watch Trey's reaction when I show him doctor Tracy Fanara,
- 30:45Speaker 1: the shark expert from Florida. That's her in snorkel gear
- 30:56Speaker 1: kissing an alligator.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's their Christmas.
- 31:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 3: That is a yeah. Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 1: And you want to make sure that she's, you know,
- 31:14Speaker 1: a credible scientist, right, well, let me share with you
- 31:17Speaker 1: her bio along with her head shot. So there she
- 31:22Speaker 1: is Tracy Fanara, Research scientist and program manager from Noah
- 31:29Speaker 1: Coastal Modeling, Portfolio manager for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and creator of Inspector Planet. She previously guest hosted on
- 31:38Speaker 1: the Discovery Channel show MythBusters and served as the environmental
- 31:42Speaker 1: health programs manager for A Laboratory. And she received her
- 31:46Speaker 1: bs m e. And PhD in Environmental Engineering Sciences at
- 31:50Speaker 1: the University of Florida. So, Trey, she's a gator.
- 31:54Speaker 2: That's just that's almost too good to be true.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Almost, Yeah, that.
- 32:04Speaker 3: She sus she's a she's a looker.
- 32:06Speaker 8: Uh.
- 32:08Speaker 3: I don't know. Is there is there a rivalry with
- 32:10Speaker 3: ut and the gators? Is that there? Then there you go.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I think I think it could work.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I bet she do wonders with a rabid beaver too.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Who'd you set that one up for?
- 32:26Speaker 2: Because I can do with.
- 32:29Speaker 1: He did that for all of us, you me the
- 32:33Speaker 1: listeners from the episodes.
- 32:36Speaker 2: This week.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Trade delivered that for us all, and we salute you.
- 32:47Speaker 3: That was the line of the show. You can leave
- 32:48Speaker 3: now if you want to.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, if you just want to go straight to the
- 32:53Speaker 1: airport and book a flight to Florida.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Why the next picture is the same outfit, which he's
- 32:59Speaker 3: just kissing trey meetings from Florida.
- 33:07Speaker 1: As part of the project, doctor Fernara and other researchers
- 33:11Speaker 1: dropped packages that looked similar to cocaine bales into the
- 33:14Speaker 1: water next to dummy swans to find out whether sharks
- 33:17Speaker 1: were willing to take a nibble and nibble they did.
- 33:20Speaker 1: She actually said to the local news that could have
- 33:22Speaker 1: been anything. It's very possible that sharks and cocaine would interact.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Whether sharks are actually biting into the bales and have
- 33:29Speaker 1: some kind of reaction, That's what we don't know because
- 33:33Speaker 1: that's what we did not catch on camera. That does
- 33:36Speaker 1: not mean that cocaine sharks are not a thing, though,
- 33:38Speaker 1: according to experts, like we mentioned earlier, South America is
- 33:42Speaker 1: a primary hub for cocaine production, which is then trafficked
- 33:45Speaker 1: to other countries. Brazilian scientists recently tested thirteen sharks when
- 33:49Speaker 1: their corpses washed ashore, and when examined, each shark tested
- 33:52Speaker 1: positive for cocaine.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Theyll Odeed's so, yeah, I saw the news story about
- 34:02Speaker 3: the bales. I think that was a couple of days
- 34:04Speaker 3: ago where I think it was like forty or fifty
- 34:06Speaker 3: bales low tide washed up. Which, uh so maybe that's
- 34:11Speaker 3: my first thought was them biting into it and that
- 34:13Speaker 3: it enters their system. So yeah, okay, so we have
- 34:18Speaker 3: cocaine sharks. That's fantastic. If we want to reboot Miami Vice,
- 34:22Speaker 3: I've got the plot.
- 34:24Speaker 2: It's not the star.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll be all about busting sharks. That's that's what
- 34:33Speaker 3: it's good.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I like that.
- 34:34Speaker 3: We'll give Don Johnson something to do.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Did you say busting or busty sharks?
- 34:40Speaker 3: Oh? Either either one. It's Hollywood. We can make both
- 34:43Speaker 3: of those happen.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, it's Hollywood, and it was based in Miami, so
- 34:47Speaker 1: it actually would probably go well together. Now that we've
- 34:50Speaker 1: covered cocaine sharks, let me briefly tell you about the
- 34:52Speaker 1: Chihuala integration. As if Trey's interests weren't already peaked enough,
- 35:02Speaker 1: A naked man with a chihuahua surrendered finally after a
- 35:05Speaker 1: five hour stand off with police.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Tell us about it, Tray, what happened? Who pissed you
- 35:15Speaker 3: off at Parliament?
- 35:21Speaker 1: This actually happened in downtown Los Angeles. A five hour
- 35:26Speaker 1: barricade situation in downtown LA ended with a naked man
- 35:29Speaker 1: holding at Chihuahua being arrested by SWAT officers.
- 35:36Speaker 3: I just don't know why the chihuala is part of
- 35:37Speaker 3: the story. He's just a naked guy on something and barricaded.
- 35:45Speaker 3: The chiuha just makes it's la, So they got to
- 35:47Speaker 3: make it more sensational, like naked man gets arrested. What
- 35:50Speaker 3: was he holding chiuha? Add that in the headline.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Maybe that's the sequel to Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
- 35:58Speaker 3: Skid Road.
- 36:03Speaker 1: It opens up with a with a visit to the viper.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Room, Taco Bell Dog fell on hard times.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Do anything to get back on top, visit us online.
- 36:20Speaker 4: I'm Treehouse on air dot com.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Let's get Jaqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the Treehouse now
- 36:29Speaker 1: for any and all of your plumbing wants and needs
- 36:32Speaker 1: to one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight
- 36:34Speaker 1: the website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. You mentioned the
- 36:37Speaker 1: other day, Jacqueline that your guys, your plumbers, your team,
- 36:41Speaker 1: your crew, they're hot in more ways than one. That's true,
- 36:44Speaker 1: and I'm glad that you see where I'm going here,
- 36:47Speaker 1: because not only are they hot outside, because it's one
- 36:50Speaker 1: hundred thousand degrees. But they're also attractive men, and sweaty
- 36:53Speaker 1: attractive men are interesting to market. So have you ever
- 36:56Speaker 1: thought about doing a the plumbers plumbing calendar?
- 37:01Speaker 8: One hundred percent? But like super cheeky, So when we
- 37:04Speaker 8: start getting into summer, I want those super tacky like
- 37:07Speaker 8: laying in the blue bonnets, you know what I mean.
- 37:10Speaker 8: And then just I love kitchy. Can't be kind of
- 37:15Speaker 8: tacky tongue in cheek, but like they have to be
- 37:19Speaker 8: fully closed because as I've got something for everybody as
- 37:24Speaker 8: far as looks go. But they are all very shy,
- 37:29Speaker 8: which is weird, like right when they meet people, and
- 37:32Speaker 8: the longer they're with anybody, the more obviously outcoming, outgoing
- 37:37Speaker 8: they become. But I've had women, for example, call the
- 37:41Speaker 8: office and go, hey, you know the one the cowboy,
- 37:45Speaker 8: and I'm like, uh huh is he married? I'm like,
- 37:47Speaker 8: he is married, and she's actively pregnant with their second child.
- 37:53Speaker 8: Well does he have friends? So apparently we are Brooks
- 37:56Speaker 8: Plumbing Dating service and plumbing. I've gotten bizarre calls over
- 38:01Speaker 8: the year, but we're always nice about it. But if
- 38:03Speaker 8: they're single, I'll always pass the message along.
- 38:05Speaker 2: If you.
- 38:05Speaker 8: So if, if if there's any photographers that listen that
- 38:08Speaker 8: want to do a really like tacky, funny calendar, I
- 38:12Speaker 8: would absolutely do that.
- 38:14Speaker 1: We just got to get your guys on board.
- 38:16Speaker 3: Oh, they'll do it.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I'd have one of those calendars. Yeah, I made it weird.

- 38:44Speaker 4: dot com.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Uh, as much as I've been fighting it all week,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I'm starting to think there might be something to this
- 38:53Speaker 1: theory that you guys and my wife have about our
- 38:57Speaker 1: airbnb being haunted. Because Tara's not here at the moment,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I'm alone inside the airbnb, and.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Physically you're alone inside. Spiritually, you have.
- 39:14Speaker 1: Roommates having heard Trades say that there's now you know,
- 39:22Speaker 1: two souls in this airbnb. One the one that's haunting
- 39:27Speaker 1: me and the other is mine. That just left my
- 39:29Speaker 1: body when he said that.
- 39:32Speaker 2: No, but I really did.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I heard some noise in the kitchen area and I
- 39:35Speaker 1: look and I don't see anything in there. I'm not
- 39:37Speaker 1: even sure what the noise is. This is a one
- 39:39Speaker 1: story structure, so there's no one above us to make noise.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I think there's a basement, but I don't know if
- 39:47Speaker 1: anyone's in it currently. We just have access to the
- 39:49Speaker 1: unit that we're in. I did notice, I hope not
- 39:55Speaker 1: in the basement. I did notice on one of our
- 39:59Speaker 1: YouTube comments which, by the way, check out all things
- 40:01Speaker 1: Treehouse Treehouse on Air dot com social media at Treehouse
- 40:04Speaker 1: on Air, which includes our YouTube channel YouTube dot com
- 40:07Speaker 1: slash at Treehouse on Air, where one of the comments
- 40:10Speaker 1: a couple of days ago on Monday's episode is dan haunted.
- 40:17Speaker 1: One guy actually says, TVs can time out and look
- 40:21Speaker 1: like they're turning on and off, because that's one of
- 40:23Speaker 1: the signs we thought that this place is haunted, because
- 40:25Speaker 1: the TV is turning off and on on its own.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Doors can close, not latch with uneven foundation curtains closing
- 40:32Speaker 1: on their own. No, so long as the house is
- 40:36Speaker 1: not suddenly talking to either of you telling you to
- 40:39Speaker 1: kill the other like in the Shining, you should be okay.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And that's the sentence in that comment that terrifies.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Me the most.
- 40:49Speaker 1: You should be okay. I'm sure if you guys remember this,
- 40:53Speaker 1: but to me, the most dangerous word in the English
- 40:56Speaker 1: language is should. Lots of things should happened, lots of
- 41:01Speaker 1: things shouldn't happen. It's very rarely the case around me.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but has the TV you been coming on and off? Still?
- 41:12Speaker 3: Is that still happening?
- 41:13Speaker 1: It may have done it this morning.
- 41:16Speaker 3: You can check the timer and see what it's set to,
- 41:18Speaker 3: because I don't think your TV set to one.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I don't think it's on a timer at all. I
- 41:23Speaker 1: think it's just whatever the ghost feels like watching, which
- 41:28Speaker 1: is a little troubling, but you know, as long as
- 41:29Speaker 1: it's a decent show, I don't mind. There was the
- 41:32Speaker 1: doorbell that rain the other day. Still don't know what
- 41:36Speaker 1: that was. Random noises that I'm not really sure what
- 41:39Speaker 1: they are.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Maybe when you guys were leaving and walked out the door,
- 41:46Speaker 3: maybe the ghost went with you, and then you guys
- 41:47Speaker 3: walked back in. He stopped to tie his ghost shoes
- 41:50Speaker 3: and you shut the door, and now he can't get in,
- 41:51Speaker 3: so he had to ring the doorbell, but nobody opened it.
- 41:54Speaker 1: So I don't think you'd be a very good ghost
- 41:58Speaker 1: if you can't, you know, get inside the house you're
- 42:01Speaker 1: supposed to be haunting.
- 42:02Speaker 3: Well, what if he's just polite, He just wants to
- 42:05Speaker 3: ring the doorbell, be asked to come in, or just
- 42:08Speaker 3: lazy doesn't want to go through the door.
- 42:12Speaker 1: No one likes a lazy spook. I mean that's just sad.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Look force some effort. Whatever are you two laughing at
- 42:26Speaker 1: I do that? And you're saying, who wants to talk about?
- 42:31Speaker 1: How couple's therapy can be dangerous?
- 42:40Speaker 3: We were a conversation away from getting canceled.
- 42:43Speaker 1: I don't know what you're talking about. Couple's therapy, if
- 42:49Speaker 1: you didn't know already, can be quite detrimental to a relationship.
- 42:52Speaker 1: It's supposed to be helpful, but in some cases it
- 42:55Speaker 1: can blow up in your face or run you over
- 42:58Speaker 1: with its car. The best example of this I have
- 43:04Speaker 1: for you is a woman ran over her boyfriend on
- 43:08Speaker 1: their way to couple's therapy. A thirty year old Minnesota
- 43:14Speaker 1: woman is facing assault charges for hitting her boyfriend with
- 43:18Speaker 1: her car while they were on their way to couple's therapy.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Oh should have scheduled an earlier appointment.
- 43:29Speaker 1: This happened last Saturday. Thirty year old Veronica Gast was
- 43:33Speaker 1: behind the wheel and her boyfriend was in the passenger seat.
- 43:35Speaker 1: They'd been fighting all day, but things got heated even
- 43:39Speaker 1: more so on their drive and he broke up with her.
- 43:43Speaker 1: He says he told her their relationship was over and
- 43:46Speaker 1: asked her to take him home, but she stopped in
- 43:48Speaker 1: the middle of the road and said get out, so
- 43:50Speaker 1: we did. This is where their stories differ. He says
- 43:54Speaker 1: they locked eyes as he was crossing in front of
- 43:57Speaker 1: her car and amateur yeah, and he says she floored it,
- 44:02Speaker 1: causing him to fly over the hood and slam into
- 44:05Speaker 1: her windshield. Luckily he's okay, And Trey, you bring up
- 44:08Speaker 1: a valid point. If you just got into a huge
- 44:11Speaker 1: fight with your girlfriend in the car and dumped her,
- 44:14Speaker 1: you don't walk in front of the car.
- 44:17Speaker 2: You run away.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Now, she claims that she didn't hit him on purpose.
- 44:28Speaker 2: She says.
- 44:31Speaker 1: That this happened her running him over with a car
- 44:34Speaker 1: when he punched the windshield out of anger, and she
- 44:39Speaker 1: claims she just didn't see him there. She did, however,
- 44:45Speaker 1: eventually change her story and admitted that she purposely ran
- 44:48Speaker 1: him over. She's now facing second degree assault charges. And
- 44:52Speaker 1: it really sounds like the relationship is over because I
- 44:55Speaker 1: don't think therapy's gonna help that.
- 44:58Speaker 5: This just saved him therapy because it was gonna happen after.
- 45:07Speaker 5: I can't believe he took your side on everything.
- 45:17Speaker 1: I mean, just just I'd like to think what happened
- 45:23Speaker 1: was the scene of this crime happened just outside the
- 45:26Speaker 1: window of their therapist, and I hope the therapists got
- 45:29Speaker 1: to witness all of this, just just feverishly taking notes.
- 45:36Speaker 3: I have some notes for you.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Guys.
- 45:41Speaker 3: You you need to run first, get out, and then
- 45:44Speaker 3: run in the same direction that you were getting out.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Uh this lady, Yeah, that's that's just a special kind
- 45:51Speaker 3: of crazy that can hit you with him hit you
- 45:53Speaker 3: with a car. That's a I've never been that mad.
- 45:55Speaker 1: And then and then try to gaslight the police into
- 45:58Speaker 1: thinking that you did it yourself.
- 46:02Speaker 2: He hit my car, He punched the windshield, So I
- 46:08Speaker 2: explain to you physics.
- 46:10Speaker 1: See, you know, she hates being man's plained too. That's
- 46:20Speaker 1: how you end up stuck in her windshield. Oh man,
- 46:26Speaker 1: it's been a great week inside the Treehouse. Thanks for
- 46:29Speaker 1: hanging out with us this week. We'll be back to
- 46:31Speaker 1: do it all again on Monday. The Treehouse is five
- 46:35Speaker 1: days a week, tell your friends, tell your family, tell
- 46:38Speaker 1: your therapist. The Treehouse is open five days a week.
- 46:43Speaker 1: We'll see on Monday.
