  Speaker 3: That's that's really dan, that's really good for Minnesota.

  Speaker 1: It's about sixty five degrees or something like that, know,

  Speaker 3: So life is pretty good. My tar Heels are playing

  Speaker 4: weren't even out of the first eight out, So they're

  Speaker 1: ten point lead, but it didn't last long. But when

  Speaker 1: they were up like twenty eight to eighteen or something

  Speaker 1: like that, Michigan State. During the game, they flashed us

  Speaker 1: that they started out five and eight and then one
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: of thirteen.

  Speaker 2: But the problem was, it didn't seem like they put.

  Speaker 1: Their foot all the way on the gas when they

  Speaker 1: had a chance to Now the Spartans kind of we're.

  Speaker 1: But later in the game, under six minutes to play,

  Speaker 1: Michigan storms back with an eight to zero run and

  Speaker 1: get over the hump in Michigan State, you know, takes

  Speaker 1: over in the Big Ten, big big win for Izzo

  Speaker 1: and company, obviously against the rivalry, but on the road.

  Speaker 2: As we've been harping all year long and generally harp

  Speaker 2: when it comes to college sports, especially.

  Speaker 4: Dude, that pissed me off because I bet, I bet

  Speaker 4: Sparty first half like a little bit liven into the

  Speaker 4: game to win the first half, and because I thought

  Speaker 4: they came out of the first time inns for the

  Speaker 4: better team, and then Michigan had that I can't finished

  Speaker 4: like a thirteen to two or fifteen to two runs

  Speaker 4: something like that. And then but then but for the

  Speaker 4: second half, dude, Spartan looked so much better. And here's

  Speaker 4: my takeaway from this is this is my NBA inside

  Speaker 3: I really thought that the only now this is just me,

  Speaker 3: but the really the only effective offense I saw from

  Speaker 3: Michigan was feeding their bigs off the pick and roll.

  Speaker 4: struggled to penetrate create their own shots because when Michigan

  Speaker 4: who came from FAU, had a great game, but it

  Speaker 4: was like, I'm so used to seeing guards like take

  Speaker 4: over in college basketball, but it looked like Michigan's players

  Speaker 4: were feed the big, feed the big, feed the big.

  Speaker 3: So hats off to Sparty. Now I could be massively.

  Speaker 4: Wrong in this, but I feel I've watched it up

  Speaker 4: basketball in my life to say it, dude, Michigan's Michigan's

  Speaker 4: guards either have to play better or Sparty's defense is

  Speaker 4: really effing good, because almost every bucket I remember seeing

  Speaker 4: was okay, well, hey, feed the big, feed the big,

  Speaker 4: feed the big, and they were doing these pick and

  Speaker 4: rolls from like the top the keys. So whatever defense

  Speaker 4: Michigan State played I thought was impressive in the second half.

  Speaker 3: And it's on the road and set Rivalry's house.

  Speaker 4: And also I think Michigan's guard play if you're always
• 7:23
  Speaker 4: feeding your bigs. And I know this is a one
• 7:25
  Speaker 4: game sample size, but I guess I just expected more

  Speaker 4: because Michigan, like, you're having a great year. You are

  Speaker 4: twelve and two. Obviously your guards aren't good. I'm not

  Speaker 4: saying they're jokes, but I was just surprised that every

  Speaker 4: time Michigans scored in the second half seed to be
• 7:39
  Speaker 4: their bigs. It's like, where are your guards at? So

  Speaker 4: maybe Sparty's defense is pretty efing good because to go

  Speaker 4: on the road to beat your ravelry like that and

  Speaker 4: pretty much in the second half maintained the game for

  Speaker 4: the most part. I thought that was an impressive one

  Speaker 4: by Iszo and I just Michigan guards. I just thought

  Speaker 4: that had an off game. Now they could come back

  Speaker 4: the next game play a lot better. But hats off

  Speaker 4: to Sparty because that was a dominant win in my mind.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, they did force fifteen turnovers and

  Speaker 1: Michigan was five to twenty one and five to twenty

  Speaker 1: one from three and eleven from eighteen from the line.

  Speaker 1: But Jace Richardson in that whole Holman who's from Minneapolis,

  Speaker 1: they like, really ran it, ran the game. I mean,

  Speaker 1: those guys are really key.

  Speaker 2: Just in general.

  Speaker 1: But yeah, maybe it's just somewhere in between that because

  Speaker 1: you know, generally speaking anyway, obviously usually they Michigan State's

  Speaker 1: a pretty good defensive club, you know.

  Speaker 2: They obviously they're big on rebounds. Whether it's defense or offense,

  Speaker 2: they're gonna get some rebounds. But yeah, you're right, it

  Speaker 2: is a different It's nice to have in certain matchups

  Speaker 2: to lean into that, you know, and they'll do really
• 8:59
  Speaker 2: good against that.

  Speaker 1: But then also, you know, I, like you said, if

  Speaker 1: you're gonna limit yourself like.

  Speaker 1: could quite overcome the lead and then build on that.

  Speaker 1: If you look at like I said, eight top twenty

  Speaker 1: five teams on Saturday went down five of them to unranked.

  Speaker 2: One of the biggest ones. We've been talking about how

  Speaker 2: well Wisconsin's played Oregon.

  Speaker 1: You know, for a while, they are played really well.

  Speaker 1: Then they went on a losing streak, but they were

  Speaker 1: down like nineteen or something like that. Seventeen came all

  Speaker 1: the way back to beat Wisconsin. In another game, the Razorbacks,

  Speaker 1: they beat Missou who was very hot. Now missoo or uh,

  Speaker 1: Arkansas was at home, but still, those those two kind

  Speaker 1: of really stood out to me out of the upsets. Obviously,

  Speaker 1: you know, some of the games we said, don't get
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: caught looking ahead, this could get scrappy.

  Speaker 2: Some of them turn out not to be like that
• 10:17
  Speaker 2: at all. Like I even mentioned the Illinois game.

  Speaker 1: We'll get into in the second, but you know, Vandy

  Speaker 1: is one of those teams that was scrappy and they

  Speaker 1: ended up pulling an upset.

  Speaker 2: But yeah, the biggest one to me is is, you know,

  Speaker 2: Arkansas has.

  Speaker 1: Been playing a little bit better, but the Ducks beaten

  Speaker 1: Wisconsin the way they did and come back mode.

  Speaker 2: I definitely didn't see that coming.

  Speaker 4: State got him tired of hearing Marshall talking about the

  Speaker 4: Uh you maybe saw that maybe an outside chance to

  Speaker 4: going for the Big Ten title and you slipped up

  Speaker 4: to an Oregon team who mind you was raked I

  Speaker 4: believe thirteenth like a month ago, and they lost like

  Speaker 4: five out of six, So maybe this is a loss

  Speaker 4: it turns Oregon season around.

  Speaker 3: Before it's too late. I'm not sure.

  Speaker 4: I've not seen the Linardi update for them, but hell,

  Speaker 4: they were ranked for like a couple weeks in a row.

  Speaker 4: You're like, Okay, Oregon's got a good squad, but then

  Speaker 3: Year and you just lost, lost, lost.

  Speaker 4: lots of good wins. So the SEC could potentially get

  Speaker 4: twelve or thirteen teams in the tournament, with Arkansas.

  Speaker 4: Obviously the LSU South Carolina are out for sure, but

  Speaker 4: everyone else has this chance still.
