After 33 years of service, Pocomoke City Police Chief Arthur Hancock is retiring—but not before leaving a legacy of transformation and teamwork. Starting as a volunteer cadet in 1992, he rose through the ranks, leading major upgrades like better pay, modern gear, and new patrol cars. He credits his success to the entire department, thanking officers, dispatchers, leadership, and especially his wife Shirl.
