- 0:14Speaker 1: Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the Run.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Diamonds in the Rough, Episode three, Episode three.
- 0:21Speaker 1: I'm really feeling and I'm just taking off your energy
- 0:24Speaker 1: of being a diamond at this moment, because, hello, you're
- 0:28Speaker 1: going back to Broadway.
- 0:30Speaker 3: How does this happen? Explain to me the details?
- 0:32Speaker 2: Okay, Well, so I did over eighty shows exactly five
- 0:37Speaker 2: years ago. Okay, in twenty twenty, I am returning to
- 0:40Speaker 2: Broadway to you know, basically I have unfinished business, right,
- 0:44Speaker 2: so I'm returning to Broadway to complete those shows.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Because it's shut down for COVID.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah, COVID shutdown, well really two weeks before my contract
- 0:53Speaker 2: was over. But this time I'm doing three limited weeks.
- 0:58Speaker 3: That is so fun. And what are the dates? When
- 1:00Speaker 3: is it?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Oh my god, January twenty three, February ninth.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So maybe I need to come so I can watch
- 1:08Speaker 1: again without having to deal with Suttens pain in the ass.
- 1:11Speaker 1: And you're also not pregnant and I'm not pregnant, and
- 1:13Speaker 1: then we can pod and do all the things.
- 1:15Speaker 2: We need to pod from New York City. You need
- 1:17Speaker 2: to come and we can have a nice time, and
- 1:19Speaker 2: also too, if you'll remember like I did not meet
- 1:21Speaker 2: your daughter Dove until like a few weeks ago, and
- 1:25Speaker 2: it was five years ago. Think about your life five
- 1:27Speaker 2: years ago, everything that's trans I mean that's happened to
- 1:30Speaker 2: you five years ago, everything that's happened to me five
- 1:32Speaker 2: years ago, and the planet. I'm not leaving anybody. Yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 2: but think about how life has changed so much since
- 1:39Speaker 2: exactly five years ago.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Going back and doing Chicago again, are there things that
- 1:45Speaker 1: you're going to change?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Like?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Are there things that still to this day you're like, gosh,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I wish you would have done that.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And I was on the phone this morning with Greg Butler,
- 1:53Speaker 2: who's the choreographer who gets all the Roxy's ready. And
- 1:55Speaker 2: there's a very cool article you can read about it
- 1:58Speaker 2: was just published like two days ago, about Greg getting
- 2:02Speaker 2: all of the Roxy's ready. I said to him, you know, Greg,
- 2:07Speaker 2: this run of shows, I really want to be present,
- 2:09Speaker 2: So I want to make sure that I calumb over
- 2:11Speaker 2: all the choreo. I'll go over all the musical stuff,
- 2:14Speaker 2: all the notes, all the vocals, so that I can
- 2:16Speaker 2: just be so present on stage and have a good
- 2:18Speaker 2: time and really enjoy being Roxy.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Does that mean that that's something I mean, this is
- 2:22Speaker 1: the topic that we're going to bring up today, which
- 2:24Speaker 1: is resilience. Yes, the actual definition is the capacity to
- 2:28Speaker 1: withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties, toughness. We as
- 2:34Speaker 1: your friends or we as the audience, however you want
- 2:37Speaker 1: to look at. It had no idea everything that you
- 2:39Speaker 1: were going through when you were roxy.
- 2:41Speaker 2: No, it was falling apart fast. And that's not it
- 2:46Speaker 2: was true like there was. I mean it was rough.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It was so rough, and you know, Tom never came
- 2:51Speaker 2: to a show and everything.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I remember Andy asked that, yes, and while.
- 2:55Speaker 2: What people don't realize now, and I don't want to
- 2:57Speaker 2: stay on this too long because we've got other people
- 2:58Speaker 2: to talk about, but my life was falling apart day
- 3:03Speaker 2: by day in Los Angeles as I did eight shows
- 3:05Speaker 2: a week in New York City, and then COVID came
- 3:08Speaker 2: and then everybody's life burned down around them. So it
- 3:11Speaker 2: was just it was nuts. I was holding all of
- 3:13Speaker 2: that inside well.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I even remember thinking, like, when I came to see
- 3:17Speaker 1: you in your dressing room, how strong certain like actors,
- 3:22Speaker 1: especially stage actors, have to be because you're in a small,
- 3:25Speaker 1: little dressing room for hours and hours like and so
- 3:30Speaker 1: especially if you're going through something I can't imagine, like.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's well, the show kept me busy and kept me
- 3:37Speaker 2: mentally present, you know, kind of how like you're working now,
- 3:41Speaker 2: just keeps you super focused. But without that, I mean,
- 3:43Speaker 2: I really don't know what would have happened. It was rough,
- 3:48Speaker 2: and I'm glad it's over.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Is there anyone that didn't come to the show that
- 3:52Speaker 1: you hope can make it to this round?
- 3:54Speaker 2: Yeah? There's, yeah, there is. There's a couple people that
- 3:58Speaker 2: I know that are coming that I'm really excited about.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I'm really excited. And congratulations.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Thank you, Thank you to everybody
- 4:05Speaker 2: who wished me well, all of the nice little moments
- 4:09Speaker 2: on social media, Thank you so much. It really means
- 4:11Speaker 2: a lot. You know, you get inspired, you you feel good,
- 4:14Speaker 2: and especially when some people around you said it'd never
- 4:16Speaker 2: happen again.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so there you go.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And I think I watched the documentary on Pamela Anderson.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Oh yeah, who also was rock She was roxy too,
- 4:26Speaker 2: and now she's up for a Golden Glove. And I mean,
- 4:29Speaker 2: have you seen the last show Girl? I have not,
- 4:30Speaker 2: but I understand it's really good.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I have loved I loved her book. I loved her story.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I loved her for years, for years, But I think
- 4:37Speaker 1: she's also a true testament of somebody with resilience.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Yes, she is, like she has you know, so are
- 4:43Speaker 2: you well? I mean I think if you're in this
- 4:45Speaker 2: business and you're sticking around, you're resilient.
- 4:48Speaker 1: But I think we everybody loves to judge, and so
- 4:52Speaker 1: watching Pamela Anderson back in her you know, bay Watch
- 4:57Speaker 1: days and Tommy Lee days and all of that, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: just now how she's just like a beacon of like, listen,
- 5:03Speaker 1: I don't even want to wear a makeup good for her, but.
- 5:05Speaker 2: She's earned the right not to. That's what's so cool
- 5:07Speaker 2: about it. I mean, pam is and I don't know her,
- 5:11Speaker 2: but like Diana knows her, and everybody that I know,
- 5:14Speaker 2: Greg loves her. Everybody do you know her?
- 5:16Speaker 1: I don't know her well, I've only like hung around her,
- 5:20Speaker 1: not enough to people really like her.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, So it's nice to see her have her her
- 5:24Speaker 2: whole resurgence yeah, on her own terms.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah, on her own terms, and also be able to share.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I think that sometimes people think, like oh, to be resilient,
- 5:32Speaker 1: or to be talented, or to be successful. You don't
- 5:35Speaker 1: have moments that you regret or things that you're ashamed of. No,
- 5:39Speaker 1: that's the whole fucking point.
- 5:41Speaker 2: The whole point is to be knocked down, shake it off,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and get back up. And of course you have terrible moments.
- 5:47Speaker 2: This is called life. And everybody fucks up. That's just
- 5:51Speaker 2: the truth. You know, everybody fucks up.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Everybody fucks up, and then everybody is going to have
- 5:56Speaker 1: some amazing some of their best times ever.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Then, know what, You're gonna fuck up again, and you're
- 6:02Speaker 2: gonna fuck up again. You're gonna get knocked down again.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You're gonna pick yourself back up again. And that's life.
- 6:06Speaker 2: It's the fact. What makes you resilient is that you
- 6:09Speaker 2: get back up. Yeah, and you are still engaged in
- 6:11Speaker 2: the game of life. And that is something that I'm
- 6:14Speaker 2: very proud of you. I'm very proud of you. And
- 6:17Speaker 2: you got some ways to go, but you're gonna have
- 6:20Speaker 2: some really good wins.
- 6:21Speaker 3: The holidays are gonna make it.
- 6:22Speaker 1: We'll get into holiday stuff later, but that's definitely going
- 6:25Speaker 1: to add another level.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Of Yeah, it's sadness and it's stressed.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but somebody else in the public eye who I
- 6:34Speaker 1: think has shown a lot of resilience, as Kelly clarkson.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Oh gosh, do you know I saw this woman say
- 6:41Speaker 2: she sounds better live than on the fucking record. That
- 6:43Speaker 2: woman's voice is a gift from God above, like and
- 6:47Speaker 2: it is a gift from God above.
- 6:48Speaker 3: And so is her personality. She's a sweet person, she's.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Funny, she can be self deprecating. I think she has
- 6:55Speaker 1: a good heart, Like her kids go to my kids'
- 6:57Speaker 1: school like a nice kid and they're like, she's great.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But she says she has no regrets moving to New
- 7:04Speaker 1: York City for a fresh start.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Good for her.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It was the best decision for her.
- 7:08Speaker 1: She put her happiness first when she moved to New
- 7:11Speaker 1: York after years in Los Angeles. So let me rephrase
- 7:14Speaker 1: her kids used to go to my kids right, people
- 7:16Speaker 1: will go now they didn't you move New York whatever?
- 7:20Speaker 2: You know what alone, you know what we meant.
- 7:22Speaker 1: After years in Los Angeles, Kelly packed up her life
- 7:25Speaker 1: with two young children and headed to the Big Apple,
- 7:28Speaker 1: taking her hit talk show with her. The move to
- 7:30Speaker 1: New York City was a fresh start for her that
- 7:32Speaker 1: she has never regretted. The Insider says she had not
- 7:35Speaker 1: been happy in Los Angeles for a while, but was
- 7:37Speaker 1: still nervous about moving. It was the best decision for her,
- 7:41Speaker 1: though they thrive as a fan.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Isn't that wonderful because you know that it's like imagine
- 7:45Speaker 2: leaving a talk show, well not leaving, but taking it
- 7:49Speaker 2: with you. It's not like they just say, oh, yeah,
- 7:50Speaker 2: let's pack up and move to New York. That's not
- 7:52Speaker 2: I mean, even though Kelly.
- 7:53Speaker 3: A really damn good at your job, for them to go, okay, yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Sure, roots up and then just go play, you know,
- 7:59Speaker 2: across the East Coast and then taking your kids out
- 8:02Speaker 2: of school, yeah, and moving completely somewhere new in the city. Listen, say,
- 8:06Speaker 2: New York City's tough. I know I lived there. She's
- 8:10Speaker 2: not for the week. And it's a big thing to
- 8:12Speaker 2: take your kids, move them across all the way to
- 8:14Speaker 2: the East Coast, take your show, move it over there.
- 8:17Speaker 3: And I haven't, to be perfectly honest, I haven't loved
- 8:19Speaker 3: what her ex husband has said and done to her.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I don't even know who he is.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Well, I know that he makes a lot of money
- 8:27Speaker 3: from being.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Mister Kelly Clarkson.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah. Ow, And to me, I'm like.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Kelly, you know, I'm happy or happy. Yeah you get that, dude.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Well it got renewed for season seven by NBC Universal,
- 8:41Speaker 1: so it comes very clear that she is thriving.
- 8:45Speaker 2: See, there's life after all of these things. Yeah, got
- 8:48Speaker 2: to just stick it out.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Her show averages is a one point two million viewers
- 8:53Speaker 3: per day and increase from the fall twenty twenty three
- 8:56Speaker 3: and consistently ranks as one of the top syndicated talk shows,
- 8:59Speaker 3: which for people that aren't like talk shows used to
- 9:02Speaker 3: be everything.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Well, now there's so much content or media however you
- 9:05Speaker 2: want to say it like to get there or to
- 9:07Speaker 2: get that rating is still big.
- 9:10Speaker 1: That's huge because think about how many talk shows no
- 9:13Speaker 1: longer exist.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Well there aren't Anny, and how big they used to had, Oprah,
- 9:16Speaker 2: Phil Donah, Sally, I Love Me Some, Mauri Montel, Williams, Montell, Jenny, Jenny,
- 9:26Speaker 2: Ricky Lake, Jenny Jones, who know that was Sally, Jesse,
- 9:30Speaker 2: Raphael but the Glasses, Joan Rivers, everybody had a talk show.
- 9:35Speaker 3: This is something I am a little curious about.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh, the kids wanting to date, the kids not wanting
- 9:40Speaker 2: her to date.
- 9:42Speaker 1: She says she's very satisfied with life, loves being a mom,
- 9:45Speaker 1: and she's fine, Uh with not dating because their kids
- 9:48Speaker 1: don't want her to. I want to ask one question,
- 9:53Speaker 1: go ahead, is she getting it in?
- 9:55Speaker 2: We'll see that. Only she can answer that, right, Do
- 10:00Speaker 2: you think that there's a difference, Like, yeah, there's a
- 10:02Speaker 2: very big difference.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Oh. I think there's a difference too.
- 10:05Speaker 1: But like the question though, is does she mean dating
- 10:08Speaker 1: like introduce them to a party?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Oh no, my mother never did that. My mother never
- 10:11Speaker 2: had a man sleepover. And my mother never introduced me
- 10:14Speaker 2: to anybody she was quote dating, And I am very
- 10:16Speaker 2: grateful for that. It's the one thing she did, right.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Would did she ever get remarried?
- 10:21Speaker 2: No? I mean she married the same man twice who
- 10:24Speaker 2: was my stepfather who adopted me, So she fucked that up.
- 10:27Speaker 2: But the one thing she did do after all that
- 10:29Speaker 2: was she never brought anybody else home again. So I
- 10:32Speaker 2: am grateful for that.
- 10:33Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, So I think that Kelly could be
- 10:38Speaker 1: hanging out with I mean, I have well, and that's
- 10:39Speaker 1: her private life.
- 10:41Speaker 2: But introducing someone to your children is a big deal.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Someone brought me brand new to your kids.
- 10:48Speaker 2: That's not happening unless I would For me, I would
- 10:51Speaker 2: think that was someone really quality that I thought there
- 10:53Speaker 2: was a possibility of having a real relationship with otherwise,
- 10:57Speaker 2: like I'm bringing some stray home.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I mean I think that, well, am I talking like
- 11:03Speaker 3: a dude?
- 11:04Speaker 2: I'm sorry, we talk about you the way you talk
- 11:06Speaker 2: about us, Sonny. Let me tell you. Oh wait a minute,
- 11:21Speaker 2: So this just in, this just in. Someone in our
- 11:25Speaker 2: group here told us that, well, Matt told us he
- 11:28Speaker 2: used to wait tables and that Kelly tipped one hundred
- 11:30Speaker 2: percent of the bill.
- 11:31Speaker 3: All the time.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That's generous, that is and that is classy, and that
- 11:36Speaker 1: shows that you have appreciation for what somebody else is doing.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And where you come from. Yes, this remember this was
- 11:43Speaker 2: a young woman from Texas, right yeah, and with a
- 11:45Speaker 2: with a big gift from American Idol right to She's
- 11:48Speaker 2: still here.
- 11:49Speaker 3: She's still here, and she's better than ever.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Oh the Martha Stewart Dot.
- 11:55Speaker 3: You guys, if you have not watched Martha.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Please do. I mean I've watched, but I need to
- 12:00Speaker 2: sit down and really digest it. But I love it
- 12:02Speaker 2: that Martha says she needs a part too, because part
- 12:04Speaker 2: one just didn't it wasn't enough.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Martha's not lacking and confidence.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Martha is a motherfucker. The best way possible.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Yeah, And then watching it, I was like got a
- 12:15Speaker 1: little bit confused about like did she really need to
- 12:18Speaker 1: go to jail?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Well, Martha can tell you, Oh you think she's going
- 12:22Speaker 2: to be on Hey Martha, do you know I have
- 12:25Speaker 2: a picture I would give anything. She'd probably cuss us
- 12:29Speaker 2: out and I'd love it. So I have one of
- 12:31Speaker 2: my cherished pictures is myself and Martha and Wendy Williams
- 12:36Speaker 2: on either side of me, the three of us together.
- 12:39Speaker 2: We went to a fashion show in New York. It's
- 12:41Speaker 2: just so good where legends it's that my camera roll.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I was waiting for you to be like three legends,
- 12:48Speaker 3: three icons.
- 12:49Speaker 2: No, No, I'm surrounded by icons on either side. I'll
- 12:53Speaker 2: have to find that pick. But we were at the
- 12:55Speaker 2: Blonds fashion show. It was a few years ago in Manhattan,
- 12:59Speaker 2: and you know, and Martha was like hello Erica. Whendy's
- 13:01Speaker 2: like oh hey, and I no.
- 13:03Speaker 3: No, that Martha knows your name. You're doing something right.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Not really, she was introduced. I you know, oh hi,
- 13:09Speaker 2: she It's not like she knows my name. And Wendy
- 13:11Speaker 2: was like, oh, hey, you're that girl, and so you know.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Hey, yeah, Well we got to a big judge to position.
- 13:17Speaker 1: When we talk about the Martha Stewart documentary versus the
- 13:20Speaker 1: Wendy Williams one.
- 13:21Speaker 3: I know that one like breaks my heart breaks for Wendy,
- 13:26Speaker 3: But I think that also shows the difference between when
- 13:28Speaker 3: you have control over your own.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Oh, Wendy's sick, Wendy's not well, Martha's Yeah, they're going
- 13:35Speaker 2: through two different things in my opinion. Yeah, Wendy's not well,
- 13:38Speaker 2: So yeah, you can't you can't judge. Yeah, I wasn't
- 13:42Speaker 2: really judging, no, like I was balance them. I'm sure
- 13:46Speaker 2: if Wendy was well, she'd be fighting like a motherfucker. Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 1: But I think when you watch Wendy's store, you see
- 13:52Speaker 1: the amount of years, but it just yeah, it was hard.
- 13:58Speaker 1: But I think that Martha is a true testament to
- 14:02Speaker 1: Martha is a bad ass.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I'm going to figure it out, and I'm going to
- 14:05Speaker 3: do this.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Not only am I going to figure shit out, I'm
- 14:07Speaker 2: gonna like dominate. Yeah, and I don't know, you know.
- 14:10Speaker 2: And her relationship with Snoop Dogg, which is so if
- 14:13Speaker 2: you look at that you'd be like, oh, wow, that's
- 14:15Speaker 2: an unexpected friendship.
- 14:18Speaker 3: But I guess they really are tight, which I love well,
- 14:21Speaker 3: she seems like the type of person if she.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Likes you, she likes you right, and she doesn't she
- 14:25Speaker 2: has no problem telling you.
- 14:26Speaker 3: That, yeah, or just not speaking to you. Both are good.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Both are fine.
- 14:30Speaker 1: What is your favorite method of if somebody is not
- 14:33Speaker 1: for you? Would you rather just kind of ic them
- 14:35Speaker 1: out or would you rather be like, hey, I know
- 14:38Speaker 1: we run.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I don't say anything. Yeah, you don't exist. Yeah, I'm
- 14:41Speaker 2: one of these people that's just like you're deleted from
- 14:43Speaker 2: my experience on this planet and it doesn't really matter.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Well what do you do?
- 14:50Speaker 3: I'm an overthinker? Are you overthinker? Yeah? Like I will
- 14:53Speaker 3: replay something like, well we.
- 14:55Speaker 2: All do that. But I'm asking like, if you don't
- 14:57Speaker 2: like someone, do you tell them or do you just I.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Think it depends on how close I was with the person.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Like if somebody wronged.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Me, well, that's different. That's sticking up for yourself. Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 2: but I think I hit my limits.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and what I'm not one of those ones that's like,
- 15:14Speaker 1: oh this time, Like it's like once it's done, it's done.
- 15:18Speaker 3: I'm not. I am not a dabbler.
- 15:20Speaker 2: No, I don't think that you.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it may take.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Me a while to get there in any relationships or
- 15:26Speaker 1: friendships or whatever the situation is.
- 15:28Speaker 3: But then strangers, like if the stranger's an asshole to me, then.
- 15:31Speaker 2: No nobody that you don't get my energy for that.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't like, I don't care. I don't care
- 15:36Speaker 3: about that. Is it hard for you to.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Show resilience in this time in your life? I think
- 15:42Speaker 2: it's a little bit hard because you don't want to
- 15:44Speaker 2: be thought of as being mean.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Because then people are like, ah, well, you must be
- 15:50Speaker 1: fucking nice to be feeling good and blah blah blah.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Like I don't feel good all the time, and I
- 15:54Speaker 1: try to show that there's highs and lows, like I
- 15:58Speaker 1: try to find the good parts of my life, like
- 16:02Speaker 1: with the kids, with what you were with whatever. But like, yes,
- 16:06Speaker 1: of course there are moments like yesterday was great. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: got the pinjury, put me up in that room, like
- 16:11Speaker 1: it was really nice.
- 16:12Speaker 3: It was like this beautiful.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Staycation, Like loved it.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It made a nesting experience fun because normally, you know,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm I'm you know, and she's out of town or
- 16:23Speaker 1: so and So's house and I'm but I was able
- 16:26Speaker 1: to just like have a moment and I didn't. I
- 16:28Speaker 1: didn't feel sadel like. I felt good. I watched shows.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I got a massad like it was nice. That being said,
- 16:37Speaker 1: I'm already starting to think about like New Year's Eve
- 16:39Speaker 1: with the kids, Like.
- 16:40Speaker 3: What do you do normally?
- 16:43Speaker 2: It's like, do you have them?
- 16:44Speaker 3: I have them for New Year's ey Oh my gosh.
- 16:46Speaker 2: You gotta watch Anderson and Andy and order in. I
- 16:49Speaker 2: know what I do every year, and I text Andy,
- 16:51Speaker 2: are you going to drink this year?
- 16:52Speaker 3: I need I need him to drink.
- 16:54Speaker 2: He said.
- 16:54Speaker 3: He was cheer.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry if I exposed up, but he said
- 17:00Speaker 2: it was gonna be good, so I expect it to be.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I said, if Anderson could get hit in the head
- 17:04Speaker 2: with that palm tree in a hurricane, you can have
- 17:06Speaker 2: a cocktail. And I mean that. And I don't care
- 17:09Speaker 2: what those CNN people say at them. We need a show, CNN,
- 17:13Speaker 2: we need it.
- 17:14Speaker 1: And then they start, I like when they drink and
- 17:16Speaker 1: then they start bickering, or when Anderson's still trying to
- 17:20Speaker 1: micromanager Andy.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's so good. The sheer terror on Anderson's face as
- 17:25Speaker 2: Andy takes shots makes me so happy.
- 17:28Speaker 3: It's so good. It's just because I love a micromanager.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Well you are a micro manager, So I love it.
- 17:35Speaker 1: So I love to see when other people do it.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Like it starts with like the hand touch, like right,
- 17:39Speaker 1: and then you know, and then you start mouthing the
- 17:41Speaker 1: words you actually want them to say.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Right, or this this camera, there's a camera.
- 17:53Speaker 3: This will be everywhere tomorrow.
- 17:55Speaker 2: But meanwhile, that's the part when Andy cussed out Mayre
- 17:58Speaker 2: de Blasio. It was It's so epic. It's just a yeah,
- 18:04Speaker 2: I mean, it was just it was brilliant. I really
- 18:06Speaker 2: need another moment like that, and CNN get off Andy's
- 18:09Speaker 2: case for that shit. He brings you ratings. Otherwise I
- 18:12Speaker 2: would not be stuck at home watching this. Yeah, the
- 18:15Speaker 2: pleasure giving us something to do, right, we're here, I mean,
- 18:17Speaker 2: who watches the news for the New year'sit? We Dick
- 18:20Speaker 2: Clark's Rock and Eve.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 1: No, we want good stuff, and part of that is
- 18:25Speaker 1: getting loose, getting a little loose, like especially as I'm
- 18:28Speaker 1: probably gonna be drinking grape cider with my kids.
- 18:31Speaker 2: You know what I used to do with my son
- 18:33Speaker 2: is do that with the Martinelli's spark. Yeah, I love
- 18:36Speaker 2: it that way. You know, they think that they're doing
- 18:38Speaker 2: something big. Yeah, and they're not.
- 18:40Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not. I'm not that cool. We do
- 18:43Speaker 3: do East Coast New Year's.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Oh so you're in bed by twelve, we're in bed
- 18:47Speaker 2: by nine.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Wow, Well you need to do no thing. I'm watching
- 18:52Speaker 2: Anderson and Andy. This is my yearly thing. What do
- 18:55Speaker 2: you think I'm gonna put on some dress and get
- 18:56Speaker 2: out there. No, I am staying in my living room.
- 19:01Speaker 3: What will you be by yourself or will you be
- 19:03Speaker 3: with a friendly No?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Probably be by myself and my pj's laid up.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Yeah, ordering what food?
- 19:10Speaker 2: As shit? I don't know yet. I don't know something bad.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Well I better not because I have to squeeze into
- 19:15Speaker 2: this costume. I have to start rehearsals, so I oh, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 2: you start. So you need to relax a little bit.
- 19:22Speaker 1: But I think I think the thing that's hard about
- 19:24Speaker 1: showing resilience, and I think you know the same, is
- 19:28Speaker 1: people take it as you not caring.
- 19:31Speaker 2: And you know what I'm saying, that's to.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Say, you know, you don't care.
- 19:36Speaker 2: You're a terrible human. How could you be this way?
- 19:39Speaker 2: It's like, guys, I'm trying to protect myself and pick
- 19:41Speaker 2: myself up. I'm sorry if I don't show it in
- 19:43Speaker 2: a way that you a understand or be appreciate or
- 19:46Speaker 2: so you just want to be a dick and Jon yeah,
- 19:48Speaker 2: you know, and it's it's I think all women, unfortunately,
- 19:52Speaker 2: we get held to a bit of a different standard.
- 19:55Speaker 2: If you're just trying to pick yourself up, there's no
- 19:57Speaker 2: right way to do it, You're going to offend someone,
- 19:59Speaker 2: which is well, you cannot care.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yeah, which is why I'm really trying not to care.
- 20:04Speaker 1: You have you can't, and I'm just trying to care
- 20:06Speaker 1: about like the kids and what matters, like showing up
- 20:09Speaker 1: to work, my kids, you know.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Keeping it. But there are gonna like I you can't lie.
- 20:14Speaker 1: There are moments where I'm like, God, I kind of
- 20:16Speaker 1: wish I was traveling somewhere for Christmas kids.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I don't have nothing wrong with that. Like
- 20:20Speaker 3: there's just those like, well, listen, I miss.
- 20:23Speaker 2: My beautiful home with all the trees and all the
- 20:25Speaker 2: love that was in that We had fun Inbasadena. I mean,
- 20:28Speaker 2: it was a great time. I miss all of that.
- 20:31Speaker 2: But things are different now and I have to make Look,
- 20:34Speaker 2: my dog's no longer with me, and you know, so
- 20:36Speaker 2: like it's just me and the tree.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Yes, so it's Yeave decorated a tree. I think Tam
- 20:42Speaker 3: said she still hasn't decorated a tree. I'm like, get
- 20:44Speaker 3: your shit together.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Tam is late. You are late to the celebration.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I'm like, I get that you had COVID, but or
- 20:50Speaker 3: she did.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Oh god, that's around again.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I know still exists.
- 20:55Speaker 2: My god, my dreams five years later, but now the
- 20:59Speaker 2: bird lose around.
- 21:01Speaker 3: What are the signs now? I haven't don't say that.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Remember when I when I was psychotic, Yes.
- 21:07Speaker 3: You guys thought I had mold poisoning.
- 21:10Speaker 2: No you thought. No, you guys you were also pregnant
- 21:13Speaker 2: and not telling us, and we didn't know what was
- 21:14Speaker 2: wrong with you. So be clear.
- 21:17Speaker 3: I didn't know I was preggening at first. Oh well,
- 21:20Speaker 3: I mean it took sixteen weeks before me. Whoa, Yes,
- 21:23Speaker 3: I didn't know which I was sixteen weeks pregnant. Holy shit,
- 21:27Speaker 3: Wow geez and the other ones are IBF.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So you know what resilience dove dove, and then serve
- 21:33Speaker 2: finger and then the murder at your house and then
- 21:36Speaker 2: the oh my god, you know what. That's why I
- 21:38Speaker 2: said at the top of this show, the last five
- 21:40Speaker 2: years for you and I've just been fucking insane. Here's
- 21:43Speaker 2: you know what, cheers to us for a peaceful calm
- 21:46Speaker 2: twenty twenty five.
- 21:48Speaker 3: How long do you think we'll make it forever that's
- 21:51Speaker 3: as peaceful? Yeah, I don't believe you.
- 21:55Speaker 2: You have to start changing your mind. I'm telling you
- 21:57Speaker 2: all this neuroscience stuff the way you think you We're
- 22:01Speaker 2: gonna have to have a real sit down and I'm
- 22:03Speaker 2: gonna have to convince you that your words and your
- 22:05Speaker 2: thoughts are gonna be your future. So you cannot say
- 22:07Speaker 2: that even in joking, Okay.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Just because what would you say was your biggest aha moment.
- 22:15Speaker 3: To create that?
- 22:16Speaker 1: Like, because there was, in lack of a better word,
- 22:19Speaker 1: when you were kind of getting it on the show.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you were angry. I've been angry for years. You
- 22:26Speaker 2: know what my friend Mikey said to me. He said,
- 22:29Speaker 2: you know, Andy said, you know, Eric is much lighter
- 22:32Speaker 2: because well, yeah, Erica, you've been fighting for the last
- 22:35Speaker 2: four years, and even before that, you were fighting to
- 22:37Speaker 2: hold up the walls of a marriage that was crumbling.
- 22:39Speaker 2: So they've never really known you as who you really are.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It's always been in a state of decline and then destruction.
- 22:46Speaker 2: So I'm sorry, what was your question?
- 22:48Speaker 1: You're like, shit, hold on, no, but what was that
- 22:51Speaker 1: moment that you were like, Okay, I'm I'm I'm gonna
- 22:54Speaker 1: switch off that anger button. I mean, of course it's
- 22:57Speaker 1: always gonna come up, but like I did see like
- 22:59Speaker 1: a shift in you as your friend that I was like, okay.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Well I just stuck it out in therapy. I don't
- 23:05Speaker 2: know that it was. It was it was a choice
- 23:07Speaker 2: every day to make incremental steps towards being less angry
- 23:12Speaker 2: or less reactive. I guess, yeah, and not to respond,
- 23:16Speaker 2: but to think about how I should respond and not
- 23:19Speaker 2: allow my emotions or what my therapist calls part X
- 23:25Speaker 2: run the game, you know, to step back and say,
- 23:27Speaker 2: hold on, what I'm feeling right now? Is me being
- 23:31Speaker 2: reactive to a situation? Like is does this really call
- 23:34Speaker 2: for that? And nine times out of ten the answer
- 23:37Speaker 2: is no, it doesn't.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You did say something last week on the pod. You said, well,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I or maybe it was on the show. I don't
- 23:43Speaker 1: even know, but you're like, well, yeah, I've been diagnosed
- 23:45Speaker 1: with things. I'm happy to share what I've been dying
- 23:48Speaker 1: anxiety depression, anxiety depression, so I'm anxiety and OCD Are
- 23:52Speaker 1: you really OC?
- 23:53Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 23:55Speaker 2: I don't have that at all, otherwise my house would
- 23:57Speaker 2: be much.
- 23:58Speaker 1: No, but mine, sadly, mine is an about things being clean.
- 24:01Speaker 1: It's about like lists.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh well I can give you something. Let me give
- 24:05Speaker 2: you some things to list out for me.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Yeah, lists on lists on lists and lists.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Do you use post it or do you use I have?
- 24:13Speaker 3: I have a note pad and then I also.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Have Can we count between that and being organized? I
- 24:18Speaker 2: mean that just sounds like something I would want to be.
- 24:21Speaker 3: You want to be until it like keeps you up
- 24:23Speaker 3: at night?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Well, how many lists do you? Is it something that
- 24:26Speaker 2: you keep making these your list over and over the.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Same list like one little thing?
- 24:32Speaker 2: What are you looking for when you make it over?
- 24:35Speaker 3: Like?
- 24:35Speaker 2: Is it a SLFE change?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Like something something small will change where somebody could maybe
- 24:41Speaker 1: like just and I'm like no, wow, well gotta go
- 24:44Speaker 1: by this way as long as I can remember.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Oh okay, so from the time you really so.
- 24:51Speaker 1: When do you think that your anxiety and depression started
- 24:55Speaker 1: with when you.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it started when I was little. But
- 24:58Speaker 2: I have my first anxiety attack at thirty years old,
- 25:00Speaker 2: and I remember what it was because I had to
- 25:02Speaker 2: go to the hospital. This was long before I was
- 25:04Speaker 2: on TV or anything. I had taken a medication. I
- 25:07Speaker 2: had had food poisoning, like really bad food poisoning, and
- 25:11Speaker 2: I took this medication to make you stop vomiting. So
- 25:14Speaker 2: fan yeah, and just for me, I had a massive
- 25:18Speaker 2: anxiety attack and I didn't know what it was. I
- 25:20Speaker 2: thought I was dying, and it was everything that you think.
- 25:22Speaker 2: It is, elevated heart rate, you're shallow breathing. And I
- 25:27Speaker 2: remember being in the emergency room in this very nice
- 25:29Speaker 2: older doctor looked at me and he goes, you're having
- 25:32Speaker 2: an anxiety attack. And I literally said to him, I'm sorry,
- 25:35Speaker 2: what is that excuse? I don't I don't know what
- 25:37Speaker 2: that is, and he's like okay. And so from there,
- 25:41Speaker 2: of course, I shoved it under the rug because Tom
- 25:44Speaker 2: told me, you know what, do you have to be anxiety?
- 25:47Speaker 2: You know you aren't too happy, look at those place
- 25:49Speaker 2: like look at your life. You don't reason you have
- 25:51Speaker 2: no anxiety. It's wrong with you. So I as if
- 25:54Speaker 2: anxiety is a choice, well exactly, which I didn't know.
- 25:58Speaker 2: And I was too young to understand an abba k
- 26:00Speaker 2: for myself and to an experienced end of it, you know,
- 26:03Speaker 2: So I shoved it under the rug and under the
- 26:05Speaker 2: rug and under the rug. And then, if you'll recall
- 26:07Speaker 2: I've shared this before before my marriage blew up like
- 26:11Speaker 2: in the worst way, you know, I used to uh
- 26:14Speaker 2: secretly go to therapy because yeah, because I wasn't allowed
- 26:18Speaker 2: to go to therapy because he, well, something's wrong with you, right,
- 26:24Speaker 2: something's wrong.
- 26:24Speaker 3: With me or something sharing something about him.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Or something was wrong with our marriage, or something was
- 26:28Speaker 2: wrong with he didn't do enough, so it was insulting
- 26:31Speaker 2: to him that I would have to go get help.
- 26:34Speaker 2: But when it had nothing to do with him, he
- 26:36Speaker 2: took it personally as if havn't I provided enough for you?
- 26:38Speaker 2: Are you not happy with this life? But the whole
- 26:41Speaker 2: time it had nothing to do with him and everything
- 26:42Speaker 2: to do with me. It was unresolved childhood shit and
- 26:45Speaker 2: a whole bunch of other stuff. So that's my story,
- 26:48Speaker 2: and that's why doctor Jen has been so important to me.
- 26:50Speaker 2: And when I was fifty, so I'm fifty three now.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I remember when I turned fifty, I said, I'm here
- 26:54Speaker 2: to drop off fifty years of bullshit and I'm going
- 26:57Speaker 2: full in on this therapy thing.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Well, I've learned a lot in therapy too, Like there's
- 27:01Speaker 1: been moments that I take personally. Yeah, like like my
- 27:08Speaker 1: relationship with money, for example.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Oh, that's a big one we talk about in therapy, like.
- 27:12Speaker 3: I will unfreaking hinge me.
- 27:16Speaker 2: But it does everybody? I asked my therapist. I asked
- 27:18Speaker 2: doctor gin, I said, does everybody have this? She goes,
- 27:21Speaker 2: everybody has their own unique relationship to money.
- 27:23Speaker 1: And I think, you know, I think it was because
- 27:25Speaker 1: my mom had a lot of money and then you know,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I lost it all and I saw that happen.
- 27:29Speaker 3: So I am such a certain way about that.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So that and then if anybody talks about like my
- 27:35Speaker 1: relationship with my mom.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Is that a self side, I can't take it.
- 27:40Speaker 3: I cannot take it.
- 27:41Speaker 1: That's okay, And it's it really it's coming up in
- 27:44Speaker 1: therapy because you know when you talk about things back
- 27:47Speaker 1: and forth, and I feel myself even getting defensive with
- 27:50Speaker 1: the therapist.
- 27:51Speaker 2: That's normal, by the way, Like that's very normal.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Like she's she must not be hearing what I'm saying.
- 27:57Speaker 2: That's very normal, by the way. And it's you trying
- 27:59Speaker 2: to rationalize and yeah, but you know what, the more
- 28:03Speaker 2: you the fact that you recognize that you're doing that
- 28:07Speaker 2: will help you overcome it. It's a long road because
- 28:10Speaker 2: it took a long way to get here. Yeah, it's
- 28:12Speaker 2: gonna take a long way to get back. But just
- 28:14Speaker 2: stay in it. You'll you'll appreciate it later. Listen, I
- 28:17Speaker 2: rage on my mom on the television show I Am
- 28:20Speaker 2: so mean to my mom. And does she deserve it? No?
- 28:24Speaker 2: But does she deserve it?
- 28:25Speaker 3: Most?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Sometimes I think, yeah, she' all don't see the way
- 28:28Speaker 2: she treats me. But that ain't write either. Yeah, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 2: but that ain't write either.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it's you know, none of it's always right. We
- 28:37Speaker 1: can't always have it. Okay, when you think Bravo celebrities
- 28:42Speaker 1: who show resilience, clearly we can't say ourselves or Temera
- 28:49Speaker 1: or Kyle or one of the like obvious choices choices
- 28:54Speaker 1: of our friends.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Yeah, no, one outside of the box.
- 28:56Speaker 2: That's outside of our box. Here, who you got?
- 29:00Speaker 1: Uh? One?
- 29:01Speaker 3: I got?
- 29:02Speaker 2: This is probably not going to be a popular It
- 29:04Speaker 2: doesn't matter if it's popular. You just have to admire
- 29:06Speaker 2: the resilience. I would say, la la kent Yep, it's
- 29:10Speaker 2: just tough.
- 29:10Speaker 3: I think.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yes, there are times which I hate using this word
- 29:15Speaker 1: because you guys love to use it against me. There's
- 29:17Speaker 1: times where her accountability is askew. But what I think that,
- 29:25Speaker 1: you know, at the end of the day, she stands
- 29:26Speaker 1: up for her ship.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: And it may maybe maybe not in the moment, which
- 29:30Speaker 1: I don't think we all have the capability of doing.
- 29:33Speaker 1: But I think she always comes back around yeah and
- 29:37Speaker 1: does it.
- 29:37Speaker 3: And I think she's been through a lot.
- 29:39Speaker 2: She's been through a lot, she's and she's grown a lot,
- 29:42Speaker 2: and she has a lot. She she's on the right track.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Like she gets a hard.
- 29:47Speaker 3: She gets a hard. Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Those girls in Jersey are tough. Man.
- 29:52Speaker 3: I would say Dolores Catania.
- 29:54Speaker 2: She's sweet like, but she's fun. She's f those women
- 29:59Speaker 2: because they all have different things going on. I don't
- 30:02Speaker 2: know the New York girls, so I know the older
- 30:05Speaker 2: New York girls.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Oh, can I ask you a question? Yeah? I mean,
- 30:09Speaker 1: I guess this has nothing to do with resilience. But
- 30:11Speaker 1: would you be mad? Okay, So we're sitting together. Let's
- 30:15Speaker 1: pretend we're both married, Okay, and we're talking about one
- 30:20Speaker 1: of our husband's penises.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and you made a joke like about my potential
- 30:26Speaker 1: husband's penis and I showed you a picture of it.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yeah, too far, too far, too far.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I don't need to know. I also don't want to
- 30:34Speaker 2: know about your husband's penis size. Now, if you're dating somebody,
- 30:38Speaker 2: I'll be like, oh girl, what's what's going on? Yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 2: but your husband, Like, that's not a place for me.
- 30:42Speaker 3: That's actually a good point that I didn't think of.
- 30:44Speaker 2: That's not a place.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Funny thing if you're in the early stages and we're
- 30:49Speaker 1: girl talking, but like, once you're married, you have kids,
- 30:52Speaker 1: and you have all that.
- 30:52Speaker 2: It's just I don't need to know. It's none of
- 30:54Speaker 2: my business. But that's me, you know. I don't need
- 30:57Speaker 2: to know about what you're doing in the bedroom. I
- 31:00Speaker 2: don't need to know about that stuff. Now, if you
- 31:03Speaker 2: want to show me like oh gosh, Erica, you know,
- 31:06Speaker 2: or if I came to how about this better? I
- 31:07Speaker 2: came to you and I said look at this, and
- 31:11Speaker 2: you were like, oh wow, and I said, yeah, you know,
- 31:13Speaker 2: because when you're single and you're out there, it's completely
- 31:15Speaker 2: different than if you're married.
- 31:16Speaker 3: That's not that would you send a nude to who?
- 31:19Speaker 2: You know, if you were like texting with a guy, yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 2: with your face in or out? Probably out Yeah, I
- 31:30Speaker 2: don't think it. I don't need that out there.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I don't think so.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:36Speaker 3: No, well so you haven't really given us.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Don't crack my phone.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Don't let me guess your code.
- 31:43Speaker 2: No, I can't so encrypted. You never will. Even the
- 31:46Speaker 2: government doesn't know.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Even even the government, Uh, you know, I need the
- 31:52Speaker 1: government government on my side?
- 31:55Speaker 3: What there on? No one's side.
- 31:56Speaker 2: By the way, what's up with those fucking drones in Jersey?
- 32:00Speaker 3: What's up?
- 32:01Speaker 1: Not just the drones and Jersey, what's up with the
- 32:03Speaker 1: fucking cars. I was in Beverly Hills the other day
- 32:05Speaker 1: with no humans in the.
- 32:08Speaker 2: This is your this is your absolute brilliant you know
- 32:10Speaker 2: what you are perfect for. Weymo, Weymo, if you're listening.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Guess what what? Someone got my number when I was there?
- 32:18Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 32:19Speaker 3: I know? This is crazy.
- 32:21Speaker 2: So a guy comes phone number.
- 32:22Speaker 1: So I didn't ask me for the number. He asked
- 32:25Speaker 1: Justin Sylvester the lady, and he gave it.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Well, I didn't text Justin you. I know Justice is
- 32:30Speaker 2: one of my good friends. Well, we get together and
- 32:32Speaker 2: go to the French place up the street.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Even your neighbors, I know, I love Justin. He's the
- 32:36Speaker 3: best ever.
- 32:37Speaker 1: But I didn't text back fast enough to say no,
- 32:40Speaker 1: I'm not actually interested in this particular person. So he
- 32:44Speaker 1: just gave out and the numbers knew by the way,
- 32:46Speaker 1: so very very few people have this number.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I have it, but I need and listen.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I'm never gonna call out this person, but I need
- 32:54Speaker 1: to read to you.
- 32:56Speaker 3: What.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Oh I am so jealous, you bitch up.
- 33:00Speaker 3: But I couldn't respond because it was so cramped.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Oh please send it. Oh, please read it right now,
- 33:05Speaker 2: and then you show me who it is. Oh my,
- 33:08Speaker 2: oh my god, I'm so delighted. I feel like I'm seven. See,
- 33:12Speaker 2: I get excited for my friends. This was so nobody
- 33:15Speaker 2: texted me unless it's really naughty ship.
- 33:18Speaker 3: No, I couldn't.
- 33:20Speaker 1: I had Hi, Teddy, this is blank blank. It was
- 33:23Speaker 1: nice meeting you briefly today at Elpasta with Justin. That's
- 33:27Speaker 1: let's make a plan and go have fun. We deserve it.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Br bur Oh now who is you know?
- 33:41Speaker 2: And it's a Now it's remind me to get my
- 33:44Speaker 2: eyes checked on.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Let's make a plan and go have fun.
- 33:48Speaker 3: I know we don't. No, we're not you know what?
- 33:51Speaker 1: Can just delete that any that's the screenshot of me
- 33:55Speaker 1: sending it to Kyle. I didn't actually respond, I deleted.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Wait what was Kyle's response?
- 33:59Speaker 1: They both like, that is the worst pickup text I've
- 34:02Speaker 1: ever seen.
- 34:03Speaker 3: We deserve it. I don't know.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I mean, you do deserve it, but maybe not with
- 34:08Speaker 2: that guy. No, yeah, no, oh Lord.
- 34:15Speaker 3: To start next thing? How do you navigate the holidays?
- 34:19Speaker 2: Navigate?
- 34:19Speaker 3: What? Well?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Hold on?
- 34:22Speaker 3: What were you saying? What you got mad on the
- 34:24Speaker 3: show and you're like, what, oh.
- 34:26Speaker 2: God, girl, that was when I blew up Kathy Hilton's
- 34:29Speaker 2: dinner party. Let's just move on Christmas. I don't know,
- 34:32Speaker 2: can you do the mouth or what? Yeah?
- 34:36Speaker 3: Or what?
- 34:37Speaker 2: It was? Years ago? I was going through drama.
- 34:38Speaker 3: Even though Edwin has the kids on Christmas, even Christmas Day,
- 34:42Speaker 3: I will, of course you should.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I will be with the kid. I'm gonna go
- 34:46Speaker 1: sleep in the guest room and.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Do Santa Claus.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Santa Claus the next day, so I'll come, probably go
- 34:52Speaker 1: to church with them on Christmas Eve night, Like, are
- 34:57Speaker 1: you guys Catholic?
- 34:58Speaker 3: Christian?
- 35:00Speaker 2: But I need to go to midnight Mass.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Ours is at six and Pasadena. If you want to come,
- 35:07Speaker 1: you go to Pasadena well, normally it's in Hollywood, but
- 35:10Speaker 1: on Christmas they have multiple places.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Are you gonna drive by your own Yeah?
- 35:15Speaker 2: No, I'm not gonna drive by my own place. I'm
- 35:17Speaker 2: not gonna so I can burst into tears, my eyes
- 35:20Speaker 2: up develop.
- 35:23Speaker 1: So yes, I'll be with them Christmas Eve, and then
- 35:25Speaker 1: Christmas Day will do Sanna and then I guess that's
- 35:30Speaker 1: when I peace out, and then I get them back
- 35:32Speaker 1: on the New Year's twenty ninth, and I need to
- 35:35Speaker 1: figure out somewhere to go or somewhere to do.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Well, I'm available.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Do you want to take care of all of my
- 35:40Speaker 3: children with me?
- 35:41Speaker 2: No? Unless I can get really drunk and be like
- 35:45Speaker 2: the bad friend Mommy's naughty friend.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Maybe you're my friend solely on the nesting night.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. After I leave here, I'm gonna
- 35:53Speaker 2: go have a double laser dump by my dermatologist, doctor
- 35:56Speaker 2: Jason Emmer, so I will be looking like a ghoul. Oh,
- 35:59Speaker 2: I don't want to scare the kids.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Well, I went to go get botox the other day,
- 36:02Speaker 1: the same lady who did my necklift. Yeah, and she
- 36:05Speaker 1: mentioned that it might be time for me to get
- 36:07Speaker 1: my eyelids.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Everybody's doing an Upper Bluff.
- 36:11Speaker 3: That's what she said.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Everybody's doing it.
- 36:13Speaker 3: But do I need it? Do I want it? I
- 36:15Speaker 3: don't know.
- 36:16Speaker 2: How about we got bigger fish to fry for you
- 36:18Speaker 2: right now now? I, on the other hand, I need it.
- 36:21Speaker 3: You do not have hooded eyes. I do. Hold on,
- 36:24Speaker 3: Look who has bigger hoods?
- 36:27Speaker 2: I don't know. So I was thinking of going to
- 36:41Speaker 2: midnight Mass. I told you, did I tell you? I
- 36:43Speaker 2: was looking at Mass times. I'm Catholic. I'm the only
- 36:46Speaker 2: Catholic in my family. And I said to my son,
- 36:48Speaker 2: who was over at my house, I said, why am
- 36:49Speaker 2: I looking at Mass times? And he's like, you're searching them? Yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: you're really searching for something.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I like it. I like the worship aspect. I love
- 36:57Speaker 3: the songs.
- 36:58Speaker 2: I love that it's beautiful.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Do they bring animals? Like did they do that?
- 37:03Speaker 3: Oh no? Oh man, but they already did.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Like the kids performance the Christmas pageant, Yeah, where Cruise
- 37:11Speaker 1: was the star but he like a star?
- 37:13Speaker 3: Oh no, he was a star, but he was too
- 37:15Speaker 3: big for the costumes.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Do you have pictures of this?
- 37:19Speaker 3: I have to see we were dying live because he's
- 37:21Speaker 3: like this.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I love that.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Yeah, So I love to go.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I just think it's so special when everybody's kids and families.
- 37:30Speaker 2: However you worship, you know on Christmas that you know
- 37:32Speaker 2: that everybody goes and has fun, and it's like the
- 37:36Speaker 2: one time of the year that you can feel that warmth.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I think everybody, everybody wants to feel love everybody and
- 37:43Speaker 2: should I really should. But I'm not going to confession.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Is your mom coming.
- 37:50Speaker 2: She's coming out? My mom is in My mom is
- 37:52Speaker 2: in graduate school. Yeah, no, not for art, and so
- 37:56Speaker 2: she's coming out here after the first year at cal Arts.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I know. It's fucking nuts. My mom was in her
- 38:02Speaker 2: seventies and grad school. My son's going back to school
- 38:06Speaker 2: to get his masters.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Did I go back to high school?
- 38:08Speaker 2: I was going to say, because I never. I'm the
- 38:11Speaker 2: only one out of my family that did not go
- 38:13Speaker 2: to college and beyond. So my mom's coming out. So
- 38:16Speaker 2: she'll be out after the first of the year, and
- 38:17Speaker 2: then I'll see her and then I go to New
- 38:19Speaker 2: York for Roxy.
- 38:21Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, what shall I'll be going to New
- 38:22Speaker 3: York then? Too?
- 38:23Speaker 2: Right?
- 38:23Speaker 3: I heard thank you so much. What is your best
- 38:27Speaker 3: Christmas memory?
- 38:30Speaker 2: Okay, two things. Christmas Eve was at my grandmother's. We
- 38:34Speaker 2: always had a really big dinner and then the family
- 38:36Speaker 2: would exchange gifts, meaning my aunts, my uncles, everybody came over.
- 38:40Speaker 2: It was a great dinner, and then you went home.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Santa Claus came the next morning. That's always great. But
- 38:45Speaker 2: then you went back to my grandmother's for lunch and
- 38:48Speaker 2: we saw everybody again. So that was probably the coolest thing.
- 38:53Speaker 2: The lights were on. My grandmother used to make all
- 38:56Speaker 2: her own well made her own bows, and we would
- 38:59Speaker 2: wrap and so like a whole thing. It was a
- 39:01Speaker 2: big deal.
- 39:01Speaker 1: What about you, Well, when I'm in Indiana, I would say,
- 39:05Speaker 1: it's it's similar. We're on Christmas Day. We all go
- 39:09Speaker 1: to my grandpa's. Who's like, I.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Mean, how old is Richard? Now ninety?
- 39:14Speaker 1: This is John's dad, my dad's dad who they how
- 39:18Speaker 1: much ninety looks just like him, but you know, ninety
- 39:23Speaker 1: ninety two year old version. And I mean he has
- 39:27Speaker 1: six kids.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Your dad is one of six?
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yes, and then all there, I mean one has passed
- 39:33Speaker 1: away and then they have all their kids and like
- 39:36Speaker 1: every year, I mean we have it like that. Every
- 39:39Speaker 1: year we've ever gone where we all sit on the
- 39:41Speaker 1: stairs like and take and take a pick.
- 39:43Speaker 3: And then all the kids.
- 39:44Speaker 1: So it's just really metamorphosed into like now only the
- 39:47Speaker 1: babies fit on the staircase so many of you.
- 39:50Speaker 3: And we play a family football game. We do that.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I've seen that online.
- 39:55Speaker 1: So that's that's always really fun in regards to like
- 39:59Speaker 1: my family and stuff that we like to do.
- 40:02Speaker 3: We're so on the go all the time. Yeah, that
- 40:05Speaker 3: the ability to.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Just be is this a big deal?
- 40:10Speaker 3: But my kids.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Really do want to see snow this year, so that
- 40:13Speaker 1: I need to I need to figure that out.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Dree just took her kids to Salt Lake City.
- 40:17Speaker 3: That's where they want to go.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yeah, or park City? Excuse me, park City.
- 40:21Speaker 1: No, that's where my kids want to go. They want
- 40:23Speaker 1: to go the day after Christmas and it's only an
- 40:25Speaker 1: hour flight.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty close. You should go.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Did she go by herself with the kids. Yeah, okay,
- 40:31Speaker 1: so it's doable for me.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Yeah it is.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Do you know some places you go with your kids
- 40:34Speaker 3: by yourself?
- 40:35Speaker 2: And then it's no, apparently, like I haven't talked to
- 40:38Speaker 2: her since she's come home, but I know that that's
- 40:39Speaker 2: where she was going when I saw her last and all.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Right, I'm gonna text her give her a text. How
- 40:45Speaker 1: much would she hate me these days?
- 40:46Speaker 2: She doesn't.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Nobody hates you.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Get off that. Yeah, all right, no more negative self talk.
- 40:52Speaker 2: I'm fucking serious. You canna stop all that, Erica.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Oh you're also going to have to know that I'm
- 40:57Speaker 1: self deprecating by nature only once.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Like you, You've used up your value. You used up
- 41:03Speaker 2: your my value, your credit, I said, credit said credits. Goddamn, Erica,
- 41:07Speaker 2: shut your mouth up. Subconscious raging.
- 41:10Speaker 3: Do you have an all time favorite Christmas movie?
- 41:12Speaker 2: Yes? Uh White, uh White Christmas? You know, the one
- 41:16Speaker 2: with Bing Crosby. Yes, and they go and they save
- 41:20Speaker 2: the inn from being shut down. It's Rosemary Clooney and
- 41:26Speaker 2: Vera Gosh, I forget Vera's last name, and it's you
- 41:29Speaker 2: know I'm dreaming of. It's musical, and yes, we have
- 41:33Speaker 2: to watch it all the time.
- 41:35Speaker 3: I pretty much end up always watching the alf because
- 41:38Speaker 3: of the.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Of course, that's the kids. See when you come to
- 41:40Speaker 2: my place with the gays, we get out the champagne
- 41:43Speaker 2: and the liquor and then recreate all the dance numbers,
- 41:46Speaker 2: and well that.
- 41:47Speaker 3: I love that.
- 41:48Speaker 1: But also at the Pinjury, they play Christmas movies from
- 41:52Speaker 1: five pm on and the Night.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Oh do you like? I also watch It's a Wonderful Life.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I know it's kind of corny.
- 41:58Speaker 3: No, wonderful Life. I love that.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I like that one Christmas Story I used to like.
- 42:03Speaker 1: My kids hate it, so we don't watch that.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Oh they're gonna shoot your eye on. I love with
- 42:12Speaker 2: the leg. I'm telling you the leg. I love Christmas Story.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I will watch Gremlins.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Gremlin is that Halloween?
- 42:21Speaker 2: No, it takes it. It's it's around because you're thinking
- 42:24Speaker 2: of Jack Skellingtons. I'll watch that one too. I'll watch
- 42:29Speaker 2: Home Alone. I love Home Alone, Love Home Alone, love classics.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Do you bake or cook or are you going to order? Well,
- 42:38Speaker 2: I've threatened to bake and we're getting our recipes out.
- 42:41Speaker 2: I have an apron. Listen, guys, it's a big deal. Yeah,
- 42:46Speaker 2: I'll bake something.
- 42:46Speaker 3: What do you what? Are you going to bake?
- 42:48Speaker 2: Cookies or cakes?
- 42:49Speaker 1: Okay, dessert, some sort of not like a chicken pop pie.
- 42:53Speaker 2: No, but I can make a turkey can I have
- 42:56Speaker 2: a cool glass turkey plot? Yep, it's the one thing
- 42:58Speaker 2: I can do, guys. I can only make two things.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I can make a birthday cake from scratch via the
- 43:02Speaker 2: Magnolia Bakery cookbook. And I can make a turkey. My
- 43:07Speaker 2: grandmother taught me how to make it.
- 43:08Speaker 3: So those two things more than I know how to make.
- 43:11Speaker 2: It's the only two things I can make. So if
- 43:12Speaker 2: you need it, if you need a birthday came from
- 43:15Speaker 2: scratch and I can make the frosty, or if you
- 43:17Speaker 2: need a turkey, which means it's only two times a year.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I got to show up for this shit.
- 43:21Speaker 3: But those are two good things to be able to
- 43:23Speaker 3: bring the.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Only thing I can make. And I have a cool
- 43:26Speaker 2: turkey platter that I took specifically from Pasadena.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Wow.
- 43:30Speaker 2: And my friends were asking me like, why are you
- 43:32Speaker 2: taking this, Like we have to leave. I was like,
- 43:34Speaker 2: but this turkey platter and the dog needs to come.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Yeah, you never know if I needed.
- 43:40Speaker 1: It, I'll show you this later in a social But
- 43:44Speaker 1: my favorite thing to do is thread the popcorn with
- 43:47Speaker 1: the cranberry.
- 43:48Speaker 3: I love that on the tree.
- 43:49Speaker 2: A very southern thing to do, very southern. And do
- 43:52Speaker 2: you use a thimble because your fingers.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Because then if not, you poke through your fingers and.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Her fingers get hurt.
- 43:57Speaker 1: But here's also the thing pro to for those of
- 44:00Speaker 1: you with young kids. It takes a long time, so
- 44:03Speaker 1: they can be busy.
- 44:05Speaker 3: They're booked up.
- 44:06Speaker 2: That's a good thing. And that's because they get sugared
- 44:08Speaker 2: up around this time of the year two and I
- 44:10Speaker 2: want to make her she kisses cookies.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Oh, that would be good. I would come over for those. Yeah,
- 44:15Speaker 1: I thought I come over to you.
- 44:16Speaker 2: You have a bigger Oh no, no.
- 44:17Speaker 3: It depends if i'm depends if I'm nesting or not.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Hold on, it's Army Hammer's place available right now.
- 44:23Speaker 2: No, the real people live in that. But he has
- 44:26Speaker 2: a podcast called Army Hammer Time. No. I watched his
- 44:31Speaker 2: mom on it.
- 44:32Speaker 3: It's wild.
- 44:33Speaker 2: I living in like a very humble abode.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Well, that's how he had to sell his truck at CarMax. CarMax,
- 44:40Speaker 1: if you'd like to reach out, I'm open for your car.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Are you really we don't even drive?
- 44:46Speaker 3: What the fuck?
- 44:46Speaker 2: Don't swindle Carmacks?
- 44:47Speaker 3: Well listen, No, my car is pretty big. I don't
- 44:50Speaker 3: know car. Do you have a Lincoln like extended Lincoln.
- 44:53Speaker 2: Like a Navigator something?
- 44:55Speaker 3: Yes, it's so big.
- 44:57Speaker 2: What are you doing with that?
- 44:58Speaker 1: Because I thought that I was gonna drive more and
- 45:01Speaker 1: I don't, and so I just need something that's up
- 45:03Speaker 1: around with the kids, fit in.
- 45:05Speaker 2: But whatever, whatever you need to go electric like I did,
- 45:09Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Why it's fast, I get I feel really nauseous in
- 45:13Speaker 1: the Tesla.
- 45:15Speaker 2: We'll get in the Porsche.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Uh yeah, let me get right on that. Right after
- 45:19Speaker 3: I'm done with every lawyer.
- 45:21Speaker 2: Bill Oh no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 45:23Speaker 1: After my god only after my only fans page takes off,
- 45:28Speaker 1: I'll go ahead and get that porch I want.
- 45:30Speaker 2: So then CarMax, CarMax set us up. Hit her up, Porsche,
- 45:34Speaker 2: hit me up.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Let's see favorite Christmas gifts from your ex. Ah, I
- 45:42Speaker 3: can tell you a funny one.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Okay, So one year I said, Tom, you know what
- 45:46Speaker 2: I want for Christmas is a toolbox. And I literally
- 45:49Speaker 2: meant like this little thing I saw at home depot,
- 45:51Speaker 2: which was a hammer, and you know, cause you need
- 45:52Speaker 2: like a screwdriver and a hammer at a big house,
- 45:55Speaker 2: so the finials on the doors. So I just wanted that.
- 45:58Speaker 2: This man went to see you. I know, he didn't
- 46:01Speaker 2: do it. His driver did it, and bought me an
- 46:03Speaker 2: automotive car tool set from snap On Tools. And it
- 46:07Speaker 2: weighed a thousand pounds and he's like, look, I got
- 46:10Speaker 2: the biggest one. I said, Tom, this is for cars, like,
- 46:13Speaker 2: I don't change oil like, I'm not a mechanic, and
- 46:17Speaker 2: he literally looks at me. We cried for fifteen minutes.
- 46:20Speaker 2: It was funny. I said, I just wanted the little.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Like thing to do the house.
- 46:26Speaker 2: I asked for the top of the line. I said, Tom,
- 46:29Speaker 2: I am not a mechanic. That shows you how disconnected
- 46:33Speaker 2: the man was. He was just like Jose go, go,
- 46:36Speaker 2: go and get Erica some tools and he said okay,
- 46:39Speaker 2: went to Sears and came back with snap on tools
- 46:42Speaker 2: and it was literally rapped and the shit was heavy
- 46:45Speaker 2: and it was wrapped up under the tree.
- 46:46Speaker 3: What's that home improvement? And that's what I'm picturing now? Yeah, Well,
- 46:50Speaker 3: I just want what about you?
- 46:52Speaker 2: What I mean, Tom, God bless you, My God got
- 46:55Speaker 2: the man truly was checked out and got me an
- 46:58Speaker 2: automotive toolkit. I do not do oil changes.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Edwin was more like a Stacker gift type of person like,
- 47:07Speaker 1: and I didn't mind it. It would be like I
- 47:09Speaker 1: am going to do something for your anniversary, this, this,
- 47:12Speaker 1: and it all kind of became one bigger gift that No,
- 47:16Speaker 1: that is what he did, which.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Is just once a year you and what was it?
- 47:21Speaker 3: It would depend like on the situation.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Which here's what I started saying, which was please at
- 47:28Speaker 1: least like write me a letter or something.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, why don't you send me a card or like
- 47:31Speaker 2: have the.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Kids get me little things with drawing?
- 47:36Speaker 2: But a Starbucks give?
- 47:37Speaker 3: I mean I was.
- 47:40Speaker 2: I hate something that just acknowledges the fact. Well, this
- 47:43Speaker 2: is a question.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I've gotten a bunch and now I need to ask
- 47:45Speaker 1: you what this is not Christmas gifts? This is just
- 47:48Speaker 1: gifts or I don't know if a wedding ring is
- 47:50Speaker 1: considered a gift.
- 47:52Speaker 2: I don't. Oh you're a lawyer, I don't know.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Where is yours? When do you think, like do you
- 47:59Speaker 1: think people after I have to give it back?
- 48:01Speaker 2: No? I think if you give someone a gift, that's it.
- 48:04Speaker 2: I don't give with if I gave you something, I
- 48:07Speaker 2: gave it to you, I don't.
- 48:08Speaker 3: But would you ever wear it again?
- 48:11Speaker 2: I don't think. So.
- 48:12Speaker 1: Okay, let's discuss a little self care during the holidays.
- 48:17Speaker 1: How do you treat yourself when you have time off?
- 48:21Speaker 3: Ah?
- 48:23Speaker 2: Okay, how do I treat myself when I have time off?
- 48:28Speaker 3: Can I ask you to ask you a question?
- 48:29Speaker 1: Yeah? Because when Andy asks what she always does, which
- 48:33Speaker 1: it really irritates some housewives, and some housewives just answer
- 48:37Speaker 1: very authentically when he asks about plastic surgery. Yeah, I've
- 48:41Speaker 1: noticed you will sometimes get annoyed. Yeah, but then when
- 48:46Speaker 1: we're talking about it, like even on the show, like
- 48:49Speaker 1: you're fine with it.
- 48:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the way you ask me, okay, yeah, because
- 48:52Speaker 2: I don't think that it requires an answer. If I
- 48:55Speaker 2: volunteer the information, if I want to share it, I
- 48:57Speaker 2: should be able to share it because at the end
- 48:59Speaker 2: of the day, it's like my choice to do so, right.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Right, Well, what is your thought when somebody lies about it?
- 49:06Speaker 3: Like if somebody said to.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Me, I don't care, you wouldn't care, but I would
- 49:12Speaker 1: feel weird lying about having a necklift, like to me,
- 49:15Speaker 1: like I had one, yeah, and I've been very open
- 49:18Speaker 1: about it and my next significantly changed. I wouldn't want
- 49:21Speaker 1: to lie to people that follow me on Instagram or
- 49:23Speaker 1: anything and be like, oh, no, I was just doing this.
- 49:25Speaker 2: But I think that No, but I think that's your choice.
- 49:29Speaker 2: I don't think that everybody has to do that. Like
- 49:31Speaker 2: if I came in here with a facelift and you said, oh, Erica,
- 49:35Speaker 2: did you have a facelift, and I go, yeah, I
- 49:37Speaker 2: had a facelift. Like it's I've said I've had a
- 49:39Speaker 2: nose job. I said, I've had it, you know my
- 49:41Speaker 2: boomstead No once, but twice I need to do it again.
- 49:43Speaker 3: I'm too Should we get joint?
- 49:46Speaker 2: I don't know you're going to work as a deal.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Do we have to be on Instagram for these free tits?
- 49:51Speaker 3: Yesh? We do free titch on the ground.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, I don't know about that. Everybody got
- 49:55Speaker 2: their teeth done there.
- 49:57Speaker 3: I don't know mine are there?
- 50:00Speaker 2: Why was I not?
- 50:02Speaker 1: So?
- 50:02Speaker 2: What was the point of your question?
- 50:04Speaker 1: No, the point of the question was in regards to
- 50:06Speaker 1: self care or a surgery. How much do you think
- 50:09Speaker 1: somebody is required to share?
- 50:11Speaker 2: Well, I feel differently because now you're talking about somebody's health,
- 50:15Speaker 2: Like how much of that do you disclose? And I
- 50:18Speaker 2: know that you feel very differently about like even having melanoma,
- 50:22Speaker 2: and you feel that way. But what if somebody had
- 50:24Speaker 2: melanoma they didn't want to.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Say anything, right, See, So it's a personal.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Choice, that's my point in making. So even if someone says,
- 50:31Speaker 2: oh my god, it's so obvious you've had your nose done, Okay,
- 50:34Speaker 2: but let that person tell you. Does that make sense?
- 50:38Speaker 1: What was the moment you decided I'm going to get
- 50:41Speaker 1: my nose done because you did it later in life?
- 50:43Speaker 2: Right, I was in my forties. I didn't have botox
- 50:46Speaker 2: until I was in my forties.
- 50:48Speaker 3: I mean I think I got botox in my early twenties.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I did not.
- 50:51Speaker 3: I got botox after I was forty forty one.
- 50:54Speaker 2: So what was the I didn't my nose was I
- 50:56Speaker 2: had always been told my nose was wide and that
- 50:59Speaker 2: the tip of myn was trying pulling down pre Yeah,
- 51:03Speaker 2: it's just it was wide. And I remember an agent
- 51:08Speaker 2: telling me I should have a nose job at sixteen,
- 51:09Speaker 2: and I didn't do it. I didn't even know what
- 51:11Speaker 2: a nose job was, so I just never did it.
- 51:14Speaker 2: And then when I got older, you know, your nose
- 51:16Speaker 2: and your ears grow, Yeah, and it got bigger, and
- 51:18Speaker 2: I thought, you know what, it could get slimmed down.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I do to do it again. I would do it
- 51:23Speaker 2: again too.
- 51:23Speaker 3: So you don't regret it.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Oh gosh, No, I don't regret anything I've ever done
- 51:27Speaker 2: to my body.
- 51:28Speaker 3: Yeah, right, I don't regret my necklift, not for one.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks great.
- 51:33Speaker 3: I love.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Sometimes I read the symptoms of breast and plant illness
- 51:38Speaker 1: and I start diagnosing myself.
- 51:39Speaker 2: With no, you don't have that, or wouldn't be able
- 51:42Speaker 2: to keep the schedule you keep. I don't think anyway.
- 51:44Speaker 3: But other than that, like, I have no regrets.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I really needed breast implants. I had one that was
- 51:49Speaker 2: bigger than the other, and I'm really glad. I've loved
- 51:52Speaker 2: my result both times.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Well, now for my next pair, because I'm duing because
- 51:56Speaker 1: I'm over ten years me too. Once I had my
- 51:59Speaker 1: melon up my final like big melano by the congratulations,
- 52:02Speaker 1: thank you? Do you feel good?
- 52:03Speaker 3: I feel good. I was ready for it to be.
- 52:06Speaker 1: I mean that was like, that's not what that was
- 52:08Speaker 1: over two years just bad, bad, bad. But when they
- 52:12Speaker 1: did the skin graph and they pulled all my skin
- 52:15Speaker 1: like on my back and pulled it up over my shoulder.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Now one of my boobs is like up here.
- 52:19Speaker 2: At higher and this side is skinnier, I'm like, does
- 52:24Speaker 2: it hurt.
- 52:25Speaker 3: It doesn't hurt. It's like numb.
- 52:27Speaker 2: Oh you have nomb okay, yeah in the back right
- 52:29Speaker 2: in the bat in the back there.
- 52:31Speaker 1: But I like crack up all the time when I
- 52:33Speaker 1: like stand in the mirror. I'm like, this side has
- 52:34Speaker 1: like this whole angle, beautiful curve.
- 52:36Speaker 3: I'm like, my cancer side is looking good.
- 52:39Speaker 2: My my my regular, my regular side is a little
- 52:42Speaker 2: frunked out. Well, we need to get user a little.
- 52:45Speaker 2: We need to get you a plastic surgeon to even
- 52:47Speaker 2: you out.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Well. I think that's what I do when I get
- 52:49Speaker 3: my newbies. But I gotta get a mammogram.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Here's also a thing for the I'm for mammogram myself.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Please get your mammogram.
- 52:56Speaker 1: New Year's reminders, mammogram, skin check, skin chat check, mold check.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Uh, get your.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Eyes checked, get you know what, an ocular exam. When
- 53:06Speaker 1: was the last time you did that?
- 53:08Speaker 2: It's funny you should say. My eye doctor canceled my
- 53:10Speaker 2: appointment on me in November, and I need to reschedule
- 53:13Speaker 2: because I I think I need reading glasses and I'm
- 53:15Speaker 2: just not.
- 53:16Speaker 3: I can't.
- 53:16Speaker 2: I'm over it.
- 53:17Speaker 3: You're gonna need it.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Stop.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I have to wear reading I have to wear far
- 53:22Speaker 1: glasses with closed glasses.
- 53:23Speaker 2: We already had lasik once.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Oh see, I don't qualify for lasik.
- 53:28Speaker 2: I had lasik once and I think it's why I
- 53:30Speaker 2: have dry eye, but maybe not. But yeah, so now
- 53:35Speaker 2: I have to read, like I'm fifty.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Three, but how much are you reading? I do a
- 53:39Speaker 1: lot of audiobook listening.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Well, I used to read a lot, and I want
- 53:43Speaker 2: to do that again without getting a migraine. So hence
- 53:45Speaker 2: I need glasses because I'm at that place where the
- 53:49Speaker 2: eyeball's hurt.
- 53:50Speaker 3: Can you see can you go from the remote to
- 53:53Speaker 3: the television?
- 53:54Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely, But it's like the finer It's like
- 53:56Speaker 2: the finer print on boxes and things. Let's say this
- 53:59Speaker 2: was let's sit down right, No, I can rebrown. Let's
- 54:02Speaker 2: say that we had a white box with silver printing.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Oh wow, wait, now that's just brags, you know. Sometimes
- 54:09Speaker 2: some of the ingredients, I'm like, what the that say?
- 54:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 54:13Speaker 2: And then I like to scroll at nighttime, so I
- 54:15Speaker 2: think my eyeball is just like well.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Also, sometimes I'll forget and I'll turn.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Down my yes you're light light, and then the next
- 54:23Speaker 1: day I feel like I've gone blind.
- 54:25Speaker 3: I'm like I can't see anything, and them I'm.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Like, oh yeah, I straight.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Plus, now I have the privacy screen. Do you have that?
- 54:32Speaker 2: I should have one?
- 54:33Speaker 3: Can you see my text right now?
- 54:35Speaker 2: No, bitch, I can't. I can see that you've opened
- 54:38Speaker 2: a window, but you can't. I can't see anything good
- 54:42Speaker 2: because you know, I saw a guy cheating on his
- 54:44Speaker 2: wife on Southwest. Yeah, on my way to Vegas, had
- 54:49Speaker 2: his phone open, and I almost said, like, Yo, this.
- 54:52Speaker 3: Is going to backfire.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Dude, don't be you know you need a privacy screen.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Now, you shouldn't be doing this.
- 54:59Speaker 2: You needn't I need a privacy screen. I can tell
- 55:01Speaker 2: this is going to be a great weekend for you.
- 55:02Speaker 2: I was doing bed at all on Blonde in my
- 55:04Speaker 2: residency in Vegas. I was flying there and the guy
- 55:07Speaker 2: we were flying all Southwest and the guy next to
- 55:09Speaker 2: me and I was in the aisle. The guy next
- 55:11Speaker 2: to me on his aisle, he had his phone open
- 55:15Speaker 2: and he was texting his Vegas moment, his Vegas girl,
- 55:18Speaker 2: And I was like, yeah, I can see everything over there,
- 55:22Speaker 2: and you need a privacy screen. I'm not going to
- 55:23Speaker 2: get into anybody's morals. I'm just trying to.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Help you out, Like, just figure it out. I'll close
- 55:28Speaker 3: that up a little smaller.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Yeah. No, it was pictures and stuff, not racy, you know,
- 55:34Speaker 2: Just like I'm so excited.
- 55:37Speaker 3: I love that. We'll just go deep down the rabbit
- 55:39Speaker 3: hole of somebody we don't know their name.
- 55:42Speaker 2: I can't help it. It was right there.
- 55:44Speaker 3: No, but you realized that then I would have to
- 55:45Speaker 3: figure out who he was on Instagram.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I would left it right now.
- 55:48Speaker 3: I would have had to find the wife.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Then I would have had to go through and figure
- 55:51Speaker 1: out who his brother was and his sister.
- 55:54Speaker 3: I can't help myself. I can't. I can't do that.
- 55:57Speaker 3: I had a show to do.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Well, do you have anything planned? Are you going to
- 56:02Speaker 2: get a facial? Are you gonna go hiking? Are you
- 56:04Speaker 2: gonna have a girl's night out with Kyle in the attic?
- 56:09Speaker 2: Are you going to pack up and go to Aspen?
- 56:11Speaker 3: You know what? I actually I was thinking that maybe
- 56:19Speaker 3: you and I could do something special. What Yeah, I
- 56:21Speaker 3: don't know. Oh my gosh, don't know what we could do.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm gonna look crazy.
- 56:26Speaker 1: But maybe we should go somewhere like in in conspicuous,
- 56:29Speaker 1: like Craigs.
- 56:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's it, because what that requires glam? I
- 56:34Speaker 2: know what, one of these low budget nights.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Well make us pay. Maybe we do the Pendry. Maybe
- 56:40Speaker 1: we have some sort of holiday at the Pendry and
- 56:42Speaker 1: we'll go live.
- 56:44Speaker 3: We will go live with no glam. But here's the
- 56:46Speaker 3: problem done.
- 56:47Speaker 2: I'm getting my face burned off in like an hour.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Don't be telling people we're going live.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Listen.
- 56:54Speaker 2: I know, hell, I need better heal from this.
- 56:56Speaker 3: I need to get some laser. I have downtime now. Guys.
- 57:00Speaker 1: We don't have another pod for two weeks and then
- 57:02Speaker 1: I'm going to New York for Chicago.
- 57:04Speaker 2: I book you off. You are booked and ready and
- 57:07Speaker 2: blessed and well.
- 57:09Speaker 3: Happy New Year's guys.

- 57:13Speaker 1: Diamonds in the Rough.

- 57:16Speaker 3: and you.
- 57:16Speaker 2: Know what, We're going to discuss our twenty twenty five intentions.
- 57:19Speaker 2: I don't say resolutions, I say intentions. I agree because
- 57:22Speaker 2: I intend on you having better self talk.
