- 0:00Do you want my honest hot take? This is like
- 0:01a real hot take and this might be controversial.
- 0:04What? Coming up? Not every bear is amped up on
- 0:08cocaine, Ben. Why should we listen to these people?
- 0:10They think owls are aliens. Okay, people, let's
- 0:14just dive in. We're myth -busting again. We are
- 0:18the myth -busters of the paranormal. Can we say
- 0:21that? Is that like trademarked? Possibly? I mean,
- 0:26myth -busters is probably... like trademark so
- 0:30like anything that includes that phrase is probably
- 0:34like off limits okay thank you for that legal
- 0:39clarification we are the rumor fake news uh busting
- 0:49i i don't know um debunkers debunkers yeah i
- 0:54don't want to be Like, there's a lot of... The
- 0:56debunking community has issues. I don't want
- 1:00to be lumped in. Okay. What part of the debunk
- 1:03are people who don't debunk or people who do
- 1:05debunk? Both. Okay. How about we make our own,
- 1:10like, category and be Uncle Bunkable? Uncle Bunkable!
- 1:15Okay, we're bringing Unky Bunky back. No, Uncle
- 1:18Bunkable. Uncle Bunkable. Uncle Bunkable. That
- 1:24was like... This is for the real November fans,
- 1:28because that's like... That's a throwback way
- 1:31from the beginning. I don't even think that episode
- 1:35is still up. That was one of the first three
- 1:37before we really committed and did anything,
- 1:40so we unlisted those. Oh yeah, we did. Definitely.
- 1:45Uncle Bunkable. And no explanation. If you don't
- 1:48know what Uncle Bunkable is, you won't. You won't.
- 1:53Anyways. Yeah, so there's a myth in the paranormal
- 1:59community that ghost hunting has to be done at
- 2:04night. Yeah. Yeah. That's what we're talking
- 2:13about. Awesome! Welcome to our podcast, where
- 2:19we take deep dives looking at various topics
- 2:21through a paranormal lens. Before we get into
- 2:26it, because I went down some Reddit threads,
- 2:29and there's a lot of people asking on Reddit
- 2:33threads, why do ghost hunters only investigate
- 2:35at night? And there are all these ghost hunters
- 2:37and paranormal teams giving answers that we will
- 2:43probably agree with some, disagree with others.
- 2:47Before we get into the alleged reasons why ghost
- 2:51hunting, quote -unquote, must be done at night,
- 2:53first... Do we think, just on a base level, that
- 2:58ghost hunting has to be done at night, or is
- 3:00that a myth? I don't think ghost hunting has
- 3:04to be done at night. Do I feel like we possibly
- 3:08have collected more evidence in the night? Probably,
- 3:15but that's probably just because we've done more
- 3:17investigations at night. But also, we gotta add
- 3:21in the fact that Most places do it at night,
- 3:25so that's when we have to go. And there's a thing
- 3:29about dark that people are naturally somewhat
- 3:32scared of or nervous around when it's pitch black
- 3:36out. And it probably adds to some sort of adrenaline,
- 3:39meaning we are more heightened aware of our surroundings.
- 3:44Yeah. And I was seeing on the Reddit threads,
- 3:47some teams purposefully... want to investigate
- 3:51at night because they want to have heightened
- 3:54emotions heightened feelings of adrenaline and
- 3:58that what we were talking about on our episode
- 4:00about fear like some groups make it their mission
- 4:04their project their destination so to speak to
- 4:08have fear and everything they do is because they
- 4:13believe and they truly believe that the more
- 4:15scared you are and the more likely you are to
- 4:17have experiences now Whether or not that's actually
- 4:20causing more experiences or your brain perceiving
- 4:24your own adrenaline and fear as experiences is
- 4:27a whole other debate that we already had. But
- 4:29point being, there are some teams that chase
- 4:33anything that's... They're the adrenaline seekers,
- 4:37the throw seekers, and they want that and they
- 4:39think that contributes to activity. I don't...
- 4:40Do we... I think we said that we don't really
- 4:43feel that way. I enjoy that part of the Ghost
- 4:46Hunt team, so I like doing it at night. But you
- 4:48don't need to do it at night. I don't necessarily
- 4:52enjoy that part. I do feel like sometimes with
- 4:57your adrenaline heightened, like Angela was saying,
- 5:01it does cause your other senses to be heightened.
- 5:06So I do feel like that does make it more of an
- 5:10interesting investigation. Does it make it better?
- 5:15Debatable. okay but to that point too i'm gonna
- 5:18call a little bit of bullshit on the notion of
- 5:21like taking away one sense heightens all the
- 5:25others because do you get like supersonic uh
- 5:28crazy human subhuman hearing or whatever like
- 5:33are you able to hear evps just because you can't
- 5:35see well no not necessarily we're not saying
- 5:38that it it intensifies your uh senses to the
- 5:42point that you're superhuman but like there is
- 5:48like some being ghost hunters we're superhuman
- 5:51yeah there there is you gotta admit there is
- 5:55like some heightened sense whether it is just
- 5:58adrenaline reaction or like slightly heightened
- 6:03senses there is something there with with the
- 6:06fear and being in the dark and whatever have
- 6:10you Yeah, no, I totally agree with what you're
- 6:13saying. I do agree. I just think it's... It's...
- 6:18I don't... I just don't agree with the whole
- 6:21notion of, like, we're taking away our ability
- 6:23to see because that will heighten everything
- 6:25else. I think it will heighten your own fear
- 6:28and anxiety. It might heighten the other senses
- 6:29to an extent, but not enough for there to be,
- 6:34like, a big notice. Yeah. A noticeable difference.
- 6:39I don't know. Like, yeah. Anyways. Yeah, so,
- 6:46again, so that, is that enough of a reason to
- 6:51investigate at, like, if you were putting out,
- 6:55like, a list of available time slots to do an
- 6:59investigation, I don't know if I would choose.
- 7:05A nighttime one with only variable being a heightened
- 7:10sense of awareness. Just me personally. I don't
- 7:14think that's enough of a reason to change when
- 7:17you investigate. I mean, even with that being
- 7:20said, when we do investigations, even when we
- 7:23do do them at night in the dark, we really don't
- 7:27feel like we have a lot of activity. Even after
- 7:30like 10 o 'clock, 1030 p .m. prime darkness hours
- 7:38like yeah a couple hours after dark maybe we'll
- 7:41still get something but it's I feel like it's
- 7:43right there at dusk or like in the dwindling
- 7:46twilight hours we get the most activity yeah
- 7:50we usually start around seven so like that we
- 7:52we've talked about like the timing where it's
- 7:54usually a couple hours we get a lot of activity
- 7:56then it fades out we tend to see more of a spike
- 7:59in terms of when we start and when we end as
- 8:03opposed to okay We're guaranteed to have activity
- 8:06happen, say, at the witching hour, because that's
- 8:08another thing that people say is, 3 a .m. is
- 8:10the witching hour, midnight, the ghosts come
- 8:12out, the veil is thin. I know we've talked about
- 8:14many times. Oh, yeah. But don't they say that
- 8:19about, like, I don't know if I necessarily believe
- 8:21this, but isn't that kind of, like, a thing?
- 8:24Like, there's something about the dark that brings...
- 8:27spiritual energy just because someone says it
- 8:30doesn't mean it's true yeah i don't know the
- 8:32exact reasoning behind it no but like if that's
- 8:36like an actual thing like i get why you might
- 8:40want to do it at night like i don't know what's
- 8:43up with the dark that will make you flutter more
- 8:48well do you do you want my honest hot take this
- 8:50is like a real hot take and this might be controversial
- 8:52what i think Because it is true, and we can get
- 8:57into this later, paranormal activity happens
- 9:00all the time. It doesn't just happen at night.
- 9:02You go, you know, on a ghost hunt or a ghost
- 9:06tour, even to shows when they interview people.
- 9:10Oh, what did you experience? It's always, oh,
- 9:12I work in this haunted building. Yeah, it's always
- 9:16in the middle of the day. In the middle of the
- 9:17day. Because half these places are open to the
- 9:21public. People work there. They're not. working
- 9:24there at three in the morning yeah so uh and
- 9:28we live you know with our haunted objects and
- 9:30stuff stuff happens during the day everything
- 9:33happens in broad daylight so the whole idea that
- 9:36ghosts only come out at night is crap it's not
- 9:39true my theory is that once paranormal television
- 9:43started and they all started investigating at
- 9:47night Because it is genuinely more entertaining
- 9:51and spookier vibes to do so. That's why all the
- 9:56TV programs investigate at night. The only reason
- 9:59is because it's spookier and it adds ambiance.
- 10:01Like, that's it. I think all these reasons are
- 10:05because paranormal investigators after the big
- 10:09television boom feel like they need to come up
- 10:13with reasons to explain why they ghost hunt at
- 10:16night. because they feel like they can't just
- 10:19come out and say because it's spookier like there's
- 10:21some resistance to admitting that and they need
- 10:24to come up with these weird reasons like oh you
- 10:28know the darkness you know attracts ghosts or
- 10:31like oh we'll get into other reasons that i call
- 10:34pure bullshit on like the heightened activity
- 10:38or the heightened senses one sure i can get behind
- 10:40that a little bit but i feel like it's all a
- 10:42reaction to the ghost hunting boom and a resistance
- 10:45to admit that 95 of the reasons why is literally
- 10:50just because it's spookier vibes like yeah and
- 10:54it's okay to admit that this is my hot take is
- 10:56like all these are just it's it's a what came
- 11:00first chicken or the egg well first television
- 11:02started filming only at night and then all these
- 11:04ghost hunters scramble to come up with these
- 11:07weird reasons to justify it that's just my hot
- 11:09take i think i think that is probably a big part
- 11:14of it absolutely and we see too we do tiktok
- 11:18lives every week and especially when we film
- 11:21them we have we're doing it at night yes because
- 11:27that's when we get engagement like literally
- 11:29if if we got more engagement at 3 p .m we would
- 11:32do them at 3 p .m but 65 of our followers are
- 11:38active between 9 p .m and 1 a .m so we're not
- 11:41even just our followers like everyone is usually
- 11:45more active in the evening when they're not busy
- 11:48doing stuff during the day yes in general too
- 11:51yeah yeah so that's just a baseline we're gonna
- 11:55do a live when the people are everyone's free
- 11:57yeah and then when we're filming we because it's
- 12:01nighttime And we have haunted objects scattered
- 12:03throughout the entire, but you need to light
- 12:05the room so people can see. And even with, like,
- 12:08I have it set to, like, the minimal amount of
- 12:11lighting just to be able to see but still keep
- 12:13it kind of creepy every single live. And we get
- 12:16people saying, can you turn the lights down?
- 12:18It's too bright. Can you turn the lights off?
- 12:20I'm like, yeah, we can if you don't want to see
- 12:22us. Like, what, you want to sit in complete darkness?
- 12:26You're not going to be seeing nothing, people.
- 12:29People genuinely want the spooky vibes. I don't
- 12:34understand why people can't just say, we're going
- 12:39to do this at night because it's a spooky paranormal
- 12:41video and we want it to accurately reflect the
- 12:48vibes because it's hard to portray vibes in a
- 12:51video. If we're feeling creeped out and it's
- 12:54broad... daylight we get creeped out in broad
- 12:56daylight all the time but you're watching a video
- 12:58through a screen you're not feeling what we feel
- 13:00how do you portray that well music and like dim
- 13:04lights tend to go a long way right so i don't
- 13:08understand the people not only want the dim lights
- 13:13and to feel creeped out a little bit while watching
- 13:16it and get in the headspace and feel what we
- 13:19feel but I all the shows do it why why why do
- 13:25you have to make up these reasons to justify
- 13:27why you're doing it at night beyond the simple
- 13:30fact of well that's when people are watching
- 13:32and they like the the dark ambience yeah do you
- 13:39guys have any reason like have you noticed that
- 13:41like there's so it's it's weird it's weird to
- 13:44me I mean is it really all that weird though
- 13:48like I don't know like you're Okay, so there
- 13:52is a big element of what we do, like we were
- 13:55talking about with historic preservation and
- 13:57keeping history alive and stuff. That's very
- 14:00important, right? But at the end of the day,
- 14:03when we are doing a TikTok live, talking to a
- 14:09bunch of haunted dolls on the internet. Bri,
- 14:16are you good? Whoops. I was trying to just keep
- 14:23talking a little bit. What happened? What happened?
- 14:28Daisy got caught on a cord and everything just
- 14:30flew. We saw... Sorry, I couldn't just keep talking.
- 14:37For anyone that is listening, like most of you
- 14:41do, Bree just... Did you fall or did your whole
- 14:45setup fall? No, just my whole setup fell. So,
- 14:49because my headphones are plugged into my microphone,
- 14:53and she pulled on my headphone cord, and my microphone
- 14:59is plugged into my phone, which is my camera,
- 15:01so everything just kind of left the table in
- 15:07the vicinity. Are you good? Yeah. Okay. I mean,
- 15:11I am. Okay, good, good, good, good. Angie, are
- 15:14you good? I'm good. Okay. Why would I not be
- 15:19good? I don't know. I just wanted to make sure.
- 15:21I didn't want you to feel left out. Ben, are
- 15:23you good? Ow. Yeah, I'm good. What was that?
- 15:29Ow. Daisy was clawing at me to get attention
- 15:34because she's being an absolute needy Nancy right
- 15:39now. Oh, the precious baby. Question. Do the
- 15:43dogs get more active at night? I swear they do
- 15:47sometimes. Sometimes. Daisy likes to be a bum
- 15:52and sleep all day. That's Edmore as well. Do
- 15:58you think the ghosts are nocturnal? Could that
- 16:00be a reason why? I feel like that is one of the
- 16:04excuses that people actually tend to use. Why
- 16:09would they be nocturnal? I don't know. Well,
- 16:13also, that doesn't make any sense because if
- 16:15everything's just residual, what does it mean
- 16:20to wake during the day? Well, that's what we
- 16:23believe. I believe everything's residual. The
- 16:26people that say this stuff clearly believe that
- 16:29they're actively communicating with dead people
- 16:31every time they go on an investigation. But anyways,
- 16:34all I was saying before Daisy decided to be a
- 16:37butthole was... I mean, we do a lot of serious
- 16:41stuff, but you also got to acknowledge when things
- 16:43are a little, like, not so serious. Like, when
- 16:46you're talking to haunted dolls on a TikTok live,
- 16:49you're talking to dolls on a TikTok live. It's
- 16:54not that deep. Have fun. Don't be so pretentious
- 16:59about it. You're a ghost hunter on ghost talk,
- 17:02okay? You can turn down the lights for the only
- 17:08reason being. People want to feel creeped out.
- 17:11Oh, it's okay. It's okay. It's not that deep.
- 17:16Yeah. So, but it goes hibernate. Maybe ghosts
- 17:21hibernating could be because like that. What
- 17:25did we say? Ghosts or owls or owls or ghosts?
- 17:28There might be a connection because owls. I don't
- 17:30know that we ever said that owls were ghosts,
- 17:33but they're dweller beings. Okay. Or aliens.
- 17:38Yeah, or aliens. Shit. I shouldn't have mentioned
- 17:43that. I shouldn't have brought that up because
- 17:44everyone at this point is like, yeah, these people
- 17:47are really grounded and skeptical. And now they're
- 17:49like, why should we listen to these people? They
- 17:50think owls are aliens. I mean, I don't. I'm sorry.
- 17:57We did a whole episode on owls. What episode
- 17:59was the owl one? I don't know. That was, like,
- 18:03last year, I feel like. Yeah, it was one of our
- 18:06first, like, definitely in our first few. 11,
- 18:09it was 11. It was 11? Yeah. That far ago? My
- 18:13gosh. Yeah. Maybe we should do a part two on
- 18:17owls. Or maybe we should just go down the list
- 18:19of all birds. And everything that flies. Let's
- 18:24do robins next. Robins? The state bird. Is there,
- 18:29wait, that's Michigan's bird, right? Yeah, I
- 18:32said the state bird. It's actually a lot of states'
- 18:35birds. Is it? Yeah. I wouldn't know. I don't
- 18:39live in other states. I don't need to know their
- 18:41state blah blah blahs. State blah blah blahs.
- 18:47Is there lore behind our state blah blah blah?
- 18:52I don't know. We'll have to loop around to this.
- 18:57If there is lore, we will do a Robin episode.
- 19:00I know Angela really has been wanting another
- 19:02stupid bird topic um anyways not really not really
- 19:09uh going down the list uh more let's get back
- 19:12on track here uh we're losing people with the
- 19:14bird talk um reasons people investigate at night
- 19:18a big thing that you see that i'm calling absolute
- 19:23bullshit on right right now is that people investigate
- 19:29at night Because ghosts can only be caught on
- 19:33infrared cameras. No. That's a big one, you know
- 19:38it is. But we have caught ghosts on non -infrared
- 19:44cameras. Or at least shadows. Or, like, shadow
- 19:49figures. So... that's ridiculous you it people
- 19:56say all the time well and this is their words
- 19:59well maybe the reason i'm not seeing a ghost
- 20:02here is because they can't be seen in this so
- 20:07so visible light spectrum so we must use infrared
- 20:10what's more impressive and what tell like if
- 20:14for any piece of evidence what are you going
- 20:17to be more impressed by seeing a shadow figure
- 20:22or ghost or whatever on an infrared camera at
- 20:27night or a solid black mass or a mist or something
- 20:34that's not supposed to be there during the day.
- 20:39Right, especially since when you have infrared
- 20:41cameras, I mean, so there's all the time on like
- 20:44the doorbell cameras, like ring cameras or whatever.
- 20:47You got the light, infrared light right there
- 20:50in the camera so close to the lens. So you get
- 20:52all the bugs, the spider webs, the hair that
- 20:55really, you know, people say. Anything, yeah.
- 21:00The outside. It's just light reflection. Elements,
- 21:03elements in the air, dust particles, anything.
- 21:08can create anomalies so any artifact or anomaly
- 21:12captured on an infrared camera or an ultraviolet
- 21:14camera i throw it out instantly because it's
- 21:17literally just something on the lens or close
- 21:19to the lens and all these people they say oh
- 21:22well it's how can you be sure it's filming in
- 21:25a spectrum of light we can't see with our own
- 21:27visible uh light spectrum eyes you know we we've
- 21:30seen the visible light spectrum this is outside
- 21:32of that realm therefore it's catching ghosts
- 21:34that is bullshit if you are filming at night
- 21:39in the dark it's very hard to light the scene
- 21:41if you want to film in complete darkness you
- 21:43need to use an infrared camera so that's why
- 21:47the tv shows started using infrared cameras and
- 21:50you know even shows like naked and afraid you
- 21:53know all these like other outdoor at night type
- 21:57of shows like that's the thing that you use in
- 22:00an example naked and afraid well you like so
- 22:04the guy that films um expedition x and stuff
- 22:08he also films naked and afraid like he's the
- 22:10director of photography oh i forgot about that
- 22:12yeah yeah so so that's a good comparison because
- 22:15like they're both outdoors at night use use the
- 22:17same camera rigs they're not using the infrared
- 22:20camera to find ghosts they're filming it for
- 22:24a logistical reason but then all these people
- 22:26who are using infrared cameras now are trying
- 22:28to justify that reason by saying that like they
- 22:31can capture ghosts with it which is i don't Like,
- 22:35that's just the epitome of what I'm saying of,
- 22:37like, you're using something for a legitimate
- 22:40reason because you're doing it at night and now
- 22:43you're trying to just retroactively, like, explain
- 22:45it. Like, I don't get it. But also, to be fair,
- 22:49I feel like the people who make these claims
- 22:51and think they're right about it are also the
- 22:53people who think they're right about everything
- 22:55with ghost hunting and that they're experts and...
- 22:57Yeah. know everything i really don't i think
- 23:01the thing that people really don't un like realize
- 23:04and understand that infrared it's not like yeah
- 23:08it's a it's a spectrum of light but it is using
- 23:11an actual light source that we can't see with
- 23:14our own eyes so we are essentially shining a
- 23:20flashlight so the light is hitting these objects
- 23:24dust particles like bugs whatever you have it
- 23:29and it is reflecting that light back we can't
- 23:33see it with our eyes but the camera can see it
- 23:35and it's creating these anomalies so i feel like
- 23:40just a lot of people don't understand that that
- 23:43is what infrared is it is an actual light and
- 23:49taking it a step further people don't really
- 23:51know the cameras they use in general like our
- 23:53a lot of the consumer grade thermal cameras our
- 23:56old thermal camera not the one we have now but
- 23:58the old one it captures surface temperature so
- 24:02you're not gonna catch a ghost in the air like
- 24:06a good example it's like it's not gonna catch
- 24:09your if you breathe it's not gonna capture your
- 24:12breath it will capture the warmth on an object
- 24:16if you breathe on it you know the warm air yeah
- 24:19so it's capturing surface temperature so it's
- 24:22the same thing it's like you're not gonna we
- 24:24use thermal cameras to like especially if we're
- 24:27out in the open to see animals like all that
- 24:30stuff you know for practical reasons You're not
- 24:33going to catch a ghost on a thermal camera that
- 24:36captures surface temperature, just like when
- 24:37you have a thermal gun and you point it at an
- 24:40object. What happens if the ghost puts its hands
- 24:43on a surface and it changes its temperature?
- 24:46That's different. It's still changing surface
- 24:47temperature. But you're not going to see the
- 24:49hand. I'm not saying it's useless. You can capture
- 24:56paranormal activity using an infrared camera.
- 24:59I'm not saying they're useless. I'm saying you're
- 25:01not capturing... ghosts with like the reason
- 25:04you're using them isn't because you're capturing
- 25:07anomalies and apparitions yeah and we film everything
- 25:11not we to clarify i should i should restate that
- 25:15in a way that makes more sense we don't film
- 25:17in infrared we we very rarely i mean we'll set
- 25:21up like very rarely we'll set up like a static
- 25:24camera you know but we don't use it as like the
- 25:26primary we'll like leave it in the basement filming
- 25:29all night type of thing But very rarely when
- 25:35our night vision camera is, in fact, working.
- 25:40Yeah, I mean, a lot of the, especially now on
- 25:44Teemu, a lot of people buy the Teemu ones, which
- 25:46are even worse with the shitty battery life and
- 25:49stuff. Yeah, well, mine is, like, was the cheapest.
- 25:55Yeah, was the cheapest night vision camera you
- 25:58could buy on Amazon. I don't even think it's
- 26:01available anymore. I think I got it for $20.
- 26:04If that. That's not a bad deal. No. But it corrupts
- 26:09SD cards constantly. Oh, shit. Never mind. That
- 26:12sucks. That's not a good deal. Not a good deal.
- 26:14The amount of SD cards I've gone through because
- 26:17it's just corrupted them. And you've said it
- 26:22only films like five minute intervals too. And
- 26:25no, so that's, that's my full spectrum. Okay.
- 26:27That's the other one. My full spectrum camera
- 26:29is good. It doesn't pick up infrared light. Well,
- 26:34like you have like the night vision cameras,
- 26:37this like the stock night vision cameras that
- 26:39you get from literally anywhere that have the
- 26:42infrared built into them can pick up a decent
- 26:46amount. My full spectrum camera. It doesn't have
- 26:50the infrared light built into it. You have to
- 26:53have a separate infrared. Yeah. And it's not
- 26:56that great. It's not that great. Like it works
- 26:59better when you also have like an external light
- 27:02source. Well, external light sources actually
- 27:05aren't bad because that's a good way to eliminate.
- 27:09Because when we film with your full spectrum,
- 27:11we don't catch. orbs and anomalies all the time
- 27:14because we have that external light which helps
- 27:16minimize that but it does only film in 10 minute
- 27:19intervals which i don't know why and i can't
- 27:23fix it and i don't it's not i don't think it's
- 27:26a camera model light you can even get anymore
- 27:28it was like way back in the day when i first
- 27:31started doing ghost hunting and that was like
- 27:33the cheapest camera you could buy on ghoststop
- 27:35.com that was like 10 years ago yeah that was
- 27:40pre -teemu We got the shitty cameras that were
- 27:46made here in America before Teemu. Now everyone
- 27:50has the shitty Teemu cameras and they're all
- 27:52proud of it. But we have pre -Teemu shitty infrared
- 27:56cameras. We should get a Teemu camera sometime.
- 27:59I'd be curious. It wouldn't be any better, but
- 28:02it also probably wouldn't be any worse. Keep
- 28:07it locked in the haunted basement all night while
- 28:09we film. I don't know with how long I've had
- 28:14that full -spectrum camera that I've ever caught
- 28:16anything on it. Well, we did at the State House.
- 28:19We caught the shadow passing by the external
- 28:22light. Remember that? We did get it with that.
- 28:25Oh, yeah. That was with my full -spectrum camera.
- 28:28And that's in our short film, Beware the Haunted
- 28:30Bathtubs on Paraflix. But again, that has nothing
- 28:34to do with the infrared camera because that's...
- 28:36You had the external light set up, and something
- 28:38passed by the light. No, because it did block
- 28:41out the infrared. Oh, yes, because we had two
- 28:47cameras going. So on one of them, it blocked
- 28:49out. And then on the night vision camera, it
- 28:54lit up more because it was reflecting off of
- 29:00something that we couldn't see. So that might
- 29:03actually be weirder than... Yeah, because I'm
- 29:05remembering now. So there were two cameras set
- 29:07up, and you had the external light in the frame.
- 29:10Something blocked out the external light, and
- 29:13you could see it cast a shadow underneath. Yeah.
- 29:16And then you flip to the other perspective of
- 29:18the camera that's filming that you had, because
- 29:21we had a wide angle on the actual infrared camera.
- 29:24That's why you could see the infrared light externally
- 29:26set up. On that camera... you could see it illuminate
- 29:31as if something passed by really close to it.
- 29:33So that might actually have been... Because if
- 29:37that was something on the lens or close to the
- 29:39lens of the small camera, it wouldn't have blocked
- 29:41out or been caught on the wide angle. Yeah. So
- 29:46that could have actually been something. And
- 29:48it casts a shadow. So on that wide angle, what
- 29:53I'm saying still stands. On the wide angle, it
- 29:56doesn't matter what, you know... what spectrum
- 29:59of light you were filming in, all you saw was
- 30:02something blocking out the infrared light and
- 30:05then the shadow being cast on the ground. On
- 30:08the infrared camera, actually, the infrared might
- 30:12have hindered your ability to see it because
- 30:14it was so close and overexposed because of that
- 30:19camera's internal light that maybe if you were
- 30:22just filming normally during the daylight, it
- 30:24wouldn't have been so overexposed and you could
- 30:26have gotten a good look at it. Just a thought.
- 30:31Yeah. What? Now you got popcorn out? What are
- 30:33you doing? My mom handed me popcorn and now Yo
- 30:36-Kai is wanting popcorn. I just started laughing
- 30:37because I just see... Is it Sushi or Yo -Kai?
- 30:41It's Yo -Kai. No one knows what you're talking
- 30:44about. Is that Sushi? I was looking at you, looking
- 30:47for popcorn. It was just so cute. Yep. Sushi
- 30:53and Yo -Kai are my cats. Yes. Okay. Glad everyone
- 30:58knows. So you're not eating sushi. You're just
- 31:01being fired by sushi while eating popcorn. No,
- 31:05this is yokai. Yokai, okay. Everyone listening,
- 31:11there's cute cat content on the YouTube version.
- 31:15Getting back on track. So, nighttime investigations
- 31:19are not a necessity. We should also... point
- 31:26out too going back we said at the top that a
- 31:29lot of these places are only open or offer investigations
- 31:32at night that's a very logistical and practical
- 31:35reason if you run a business from nine to five
- 31:39and a couple ghost hunting clowns want to come
- 31:42in and look for ghosts it's going to be after
- 31:455 p .m and typically during the night places
- 31:50only do it at night No, not all places. Stimson
- 31:54Hospital also does it during the day, too. A
- 31:57lot of places do. And the first time that I went
- 32:00to Stimson and helped with a daytime tour investigation,
- 32:04the people who were there got a lot of activity.
- 32:08We've gotten so much activity during Stimson
- 32:11Hospital. And we'll be back, actually, in October
- 32:12for the Blood Moon Parafest. And I can't wait
- 32:15for that. Typically, when you have a lot of...
- 32:19paranormal like -minded people in the same place
- 32:21doesn't matter what time of day it is i know
- 32:24last year at the blood moon parafest um someone
- 32:28that was actually born at simpson hospital wandered
- 32:31into the building first time being there since
- 32:34she was born there and we captured in broad daylight
- 32:3610 in the morning with this woman evps so yeah
- 32:41it's so cool it's wild I mean, and just speaking
- 32:46of recent investigations, we went to Tall Man
- 32:49Cemetery up in Sheboygan. Was it technically
- 32:54in Sheboygan still? I think it was one of those
- 32:56things that's like on the county line, so people
- 32:59are going to get very angry. Yeah, it was more
- 33:00inland, Sheboygan. Anyways, it doesn't really
- 33:03matter. No, it does matter because people on
- 33:05Facebook get really angry. Sheboygan area. We're
- 33:07going to tag it as Sheboygan. We were in Sheboygan,
- 33:11so... It was close enough to get to from Sheboygan.
- 33:15It's like this tiny unincorporated village, I
- 33:18think, like on the edge. And this tiny cemetery.
- 33:22Tiny, tiny cemetery. That we tried to find at
- 33:26night and failed finding. It doesn't even count
- 33:27as a cemetery. I think it's a burial. Just a
- 33:31burial grounds? I think it is. I don't think
- 33:33it counts as a graveyard or a cemetery. There
- 33:37is a difference. Well, I don't know because there's
- 33:39a lot of clearly unmarked graves. There's no
- 33:41headstones. There's just a bunch of little crosses
- 33:44and the name of the cemetery is on the back,
- 33:46like literally spelled out in sticks, like spelled
- 33:49with sticks formed to make letters bolted into
- 33:52a tree. Let me clarify the differences. Because
- 33:57there's not a lot of people who know this. Graveyards
- 34:00are connected to churches or a place of worship
- 34:04specifically. Okay, so this is not a graveyard.
- 34:07Not a graveyard. Cemeteries are places that people
- 34:11can go to and walk around. It's kind of viewed
- 34:13as a park. It's viewed as like a garden. Kind
- 34:17of like, you know, like a park. You can walk
- 34:20around and enjoy the nature and all that stuff.
- 34:25It's not really that. It's too small for that
- 34:28and it's not kept up. Burial grounds are just
- 34:30a place that people are buried at. So I would
- 34:33view that more as a burial ground than a cemetery
- 34:36or obviously not a graveyard. Yeah. Okay. So
- 34:41it's the Tall Man Cemetery Asterix Burial Ground.
- 34:45But anyways, going back to the story. Angela
- 34:51got so serious. She's like, hold on. Which we
- 34:54appreciate the education. It's good. This is
- 34:57our myth busting episode. You got to bust a myth.
- 35:00It's not actually a cemetery. Uncommon episode.
- 35:01Yeah. We caught EVPs broad daylight. What time
- 35:09of day was it? It was like, what, 2 p .m. in
- 35:12the afternoon? I don't even know if it was that.
- 35:15Actually, it probably was. Maybe 1 -ish. Yeah,
- 35:181, 2 o 'clock. Yeah. And we caught clear EVPs
- 35:23responding to our questions. I mean, we were
- 35:27going to try to investigate there during night,
- 35:29but we got lost. Well, it's so hard to see. It's
- 35:32like up a hill, surrounded by trees, overgrown.
- 35:36On a seasonal road. On a seasonal road you can't
- 35:38drive over. You should not take an off -road
- 35:40car, like a car that's not meant for off -road.
- 35:43Don't take a Honda Civic on that road. Don't
- 35:45take a Honda Civic on that road. Or any small
- 35:48car. Make sure it is a back -roading vehicle.
- 35:51Yeah, that was a big no. And we survived. We
- 35:54survived. We survived. but at what cost um i
- 35:58don't know i mean we survived we made it out
- 36:02yeah there's a there's another um dimension out
- 36:05there that we got stuck and had to stay overnight
- 36:08and we try to walk our way through but we got
- 36:10we got attacked by a black bear and we died so
- 36:14there's another universe out there where we died
- 36:16but we're i don't think we would have gotten
- 36:18attacked by a black bear you never know you never
- 36:21know okay there's there's bears up there Hey,
- 36:24but you have me, who's like, you know, Northern
- 36:27Michigan native and knows how to deal with black
- 36:30bears. Yeah, right. Yeah, right. I'm amending
- 36:34our little, our solo challenge, you know, episode
- 36:4055, you guys. If 400 people listen to it by the
- 36:43end of the month, we will make our... most scary
- 36:46fuck this solo ghost hunt challenge of reality,
- 36:50okay? You're not putting a black bear in the
- 36:52cell. That's what I was going to say. In episode
- 36:5455, we plotted out what our scariest ghost hunt
- 36:58would look like, and if 400 people listen to
- 37:00it, we will make it a reality. We did not include
- 37:02a black bear. We are going to amend that right
- 37:05now. No. Episode 55. I would like to see you
- 37:09pay to get a black bear. No, we're not putting
- 37:12no black bear in the cell with us. So you, so
- 37:14yeah, I'm calling bullshit. Okay, I feel like,
- 37:16I feel like this comes, I feel like this comes
- 37:19to the point of, like, the same reason as to
- 37:21why we couldn't have a candle in the jail cell,
- 37:24because it probably wouldn't be allowed by the
- 37:27property owners. I'm sure they would not - There's
- 37:29no way! They have a rule saying no black bears
- 37:31in the house. I'm sure they wouldn't allow a
- 37:33black bear inside a - jail cell they're inside
- 37:38their property in a jail oh yeah if you haven't
- 37:40listened to episode 55 it involves you you should
- 37:43just go listen to it this is the last like explaining
- 37:46about it because we need 400 people to listen
- 37:48to it if you want this to actually happen but
- 37:50anyways um it involves being stranded in a haunted
- 37:54abandoned old prison locked in a jail cell with
- 37:58a bat that poops on your head at midnight um
- 38:01you're saying you're saying you can't handle
- 38:05a black bear in there i'm not saying that i couldn't
- 38:08i'm just saying that it is unlikely that we could
- 38:13get that to happen and i also don't think we
- 38:16should because that's just stupidity but you're
- 38:21northern michigan you know you know you just
- 38:23i'm from northern michigan meaning i do know
- 38:26how to deal with black bears that doesn't mean
- 38:28i'm actively gonna put myself in a situation
- 38:31where i need to deal with one Well, right now
- 38:36you're not going to because you don't have 400
- 38:37listens on that episode. But if we get to 400
- 38:40listens... Don't... This is what I'm talking...
- 38:45There's people that say infrared cameras catch
- 38:48ghosts. And then there's people that say they're
- 38:50from northern Michigan so they can take on a
- 38:51black bear. I... I didn't say I could take on
- 38:55a black bear. I said I know how to deal with
- 38:57a black bear. Those are two different things.
- 39:00Do you believe if you just stand still, they
- 39:02won't attack you? Is that what you're going to
- 39:04say? I mean, that is the first plan of action.
- 39:10Have you seen Cocaine Bear? Okay, not every bear
- 39:14is amped up on cocaine, Ben. It was a good movie.
- 39:21Have you seen it? No, I haven't seen it. Cocaine
- 39:25Bear, that's a classic at this point. It's hilarious.
- 39:29They should make a Cocaine Raccoon movie. That
- 39:33would be scarier. I'd rather actually have a
- 39:36black bear in a cell than a raccoon. Same. I
- 39:40like raccoons. You have never heard of the horror
- 39:47stories of people taking on raccoons as a pet
- 39:51and then they rip off their baby's faces in the
- 39:53middle of the night in their cribs? Yes, I have.
- 39:57Any other thoughts? Because we're straying from
- 40:02this topic, so let's just end it. No one wants
- 40:06to listen to this. I was going to say end it
- 40:08while we're still ahead, but we're definitely
- 40:10not. We're way off track. We kind of said what
- 40:15we needed to say and now we're steering around
- 40:19the bush. We're lost on the back roads. Yes.
- 40:25Have you guys heard any other myths about why
- 40:28people investigate at night? Can I look up just
- 40:34for fun? Ask ChatGPT and see what they have to
- 40:39say. I'm curious. Yes, sure, ask AI. Boo! Oh,
- 40:46this... While she was looking that up, I did
- 40:50see something in the Reddit thread that's actually
- 40:52kind of like a sixth sense type of depressing
- 40:54thought of someone said that the ghosts might
- 40:59have ghost jobs and work during the day, so they're
- 41:03only available at night because that's when they
- 41:04get home from work. That would be so sad. So
- 41:11ghosts take their ghost cars to ghost work during
- 41:15the day and then use their ghost cars to come
- 41:19back and haunt their houses at night. Okay, I
- 41:24got a list. Seems like there should be more ghost
- 41:26cars then. Isn't that a thing? On one of the
- 41:29episodes of Supernatural, there was a ghost truck.
- 41:32Let's do that in a future episode. Yeah, future
- 41:35episode of Ghost Cars. Yeah. Ghost cars. Okay,
- 41:40let me see. This is the list. Oh my god. Okay.
- 41:44What does AI say? It's quieter. Fewer people
- 41:50around. Less environmental noises. I guess all
- 41:55of those are valid. Yeah. Darkness creates a
- 41:58controlled environment. Historical reports happen
- 42:03at night. Not necessarily. We call bullshit on
- 42:07that one. The silence and the quiet one, I can
- 42:10get behind that, but also if you're in a controlled
- 42:13environment, that only makes sense if you're
- 42:16outside or on a busy road. If you're in a controlled
- 42:18room, it doesn't matter. Even if you're on a
- 42:21busy road, just because it's night doesn't mean
- 42:24it's not going to be busy. That's so true. Witnesses
- 42:28report seeing apparitions at night. But we also
- 42:33said that Not necessarily true. Because most
- 42:37people who see apparitions, when you hear stories
- 42:39about them, it's usually only during the day.
- 42:43I mean, it can happen at any point. Yes, but
- 42:46you hear a lot of people who are just like working
- 42:48around at the location or whatever, they see
- 42:51this stuff during the day. Yeah. People associate
- 42:56nighttime with paranormal activity, obviously.
- 43:00That's the main reason. Yeah. They just don't
- 43:04want to admit that. Some people believe spirits
- 43:06are more active at night. That's an opinion.
- 43:10Yeah, we debunked that as an objective fact.
- 43:13Oh, this one's interesting. Less electromagnetic
- 43:18interferences from nearby activity. That's not
- 43:23how it works. Yeah, I was like, that doesn't
- 43:25make any sense. I mean, if you don't know things
- 43:30about electromagnetic... like, magnetivity, then
- 43:34I feel like that is something that someone would
- 43:36say. I'm just picturing someone holding an EMF
- 43:39meter to their microwave or their refrigerator
- 43:41that's actively running and being like, my refrigerator
- 43:46shouldn't be emitting EMF. It's past 10 o 'clock.
- 43:50But Billy, it's still on. Is your refrigerator
- 43:54running? Well, you better go catch it. Again,
- 44:04this one doesn't make any sense. Animals behave
- 44:07differently at night. How do animals affect ghost
- 44:11hunting at night? As a joke, I said maybe all
- 44:14ghosts are like, you know, Daisy or Sushi. They're
- 44:18just more restless at night, but that was a joke.
- 44:21That's not how it actually works. It says investigators
- 44:23may be able to observe nocturnal wildlife that
- 44:27could potentially explain unusual noises or movements.
- 44:32Okay, I see where they're coming from. Yeah,
- 44:35I guess. But, like, that only really affects
- 44:39you if you're doing outdoor investigations. Yeah.
- 44:43Yeah, but that's not a reason to investigate.
- 44:46It's, oh, there's a weird shrieking at night.
- 44:48Let me go at night and see if there's an owl.
- 44:51But if the report is hearing strange shrieking
- 44:54at 12 o 'clock in the afternoon, you're not going
- 44:57to go at night to see if there's an owl. Yeah.
- 45:00You're going to be like, oh, what person, individual
- 45:03is shrieking during the day? Like, whose child
- 45:08is that? I'd be more interested in that. If I
- 45:11hear someone shrieking in the middle of the night,
- 45:13I'm just going to be like, okay, we're taking
- 45:15a detour. Let's go investigate this now. Yeah.
- 45:19But during night, there's so many creatures that
- 45:22make shrieking or screaming noises at night.
- 45:25Remember I did a whole presentation on it in
- 45:27college? MSCPS and talked about screaming forests
- 45:33and the myths behind screaming forests and why
- 45:35so many people think forests are haunted because
- 45:39they hear screams at night. And I went over all
- 45:42the different animals that actually make those
- 45:44sounds. What does this mean? Nighttime recreates
- 45:48the witness experience. What does that mean?
- 45:54Like recreating the circumstances in which someone
- 45:57saw Something at night? Possibly. Okay, sure.
- 46:00If someone says, I saw someone standing in a
- 46:03hallway at 2 a .m., investigating at 2 a .m.
- 46:06allows investigators to experience the same environmental
- 46:09conditions. Yeah, that's a specific example,
- 46:12but it's not like a broad strip. Yeah, that's
- 46:13specific. Yeah. And then temperature changes.
- 46:18Temperature can change significantly after sunset,
- 46:22which can be relevant when investigating. Reported
- 46:26cold spots or environmental anomalies. So it's
- 46:32better to catch cold spots when the temperature
- 46:34drops? What? I don't get that one. That reminds
- 46:42me of something I saw on the Reddit thread saying
- 46:44shadow figures are easier to see in the dark.
- 46:49And I'm like, how does that work? Shadow figures
- 46:54are easier to see in the day. When there's light,
- 47:00everything is shadow. It's just creepier during
- 47:05the night because it's already dark and you're
- 47:07seeing a shadow that's darker than dark. On one
- 47:12hand, it's more impressive to see a shadow in
- 47:14pitch black when there's no light to cast a shadow,
- 47:16but also it's not easier to see shadow figures.
- 47:21I can say that I have never seen a shadow at
- 47:24night. The only shadow figures I've ever seen
- 47:28have been during the day. When there's light
- 47:30to actually cast a shadow. Yeah. Which is how
- 47:35it works. It wasn't shadows, it was like a solid
- 47:39black mass. So I don't know if you can consider
- 47:41them. We did a whole episode on this. Go listen
- 47:46to that episode. It's too late to over -explain
- 47:50things. We're going way too long on this episode.
- 47:54We had a hot streak of 20 -minute, 30 -minute
- 47:58episodes that just totally broke that. So I guess
- 48:01yay for the people that listened. Go listen to
- 48:04episode 55. If you're still here. Yeah, if you're
- 48:12still here. Wait, should we just copy and paste
- 48:16episode 55 onto the end of this one? So if they
- 48:18made it this far, they just can listen to 55
- 48:22and we can count that as a listen? No, you can't
- 48:25count that as a listen. We're going to find out.
- 48:29Alright, copy and paste in 3, 2, 1. Creepy. Coming
- 48:34up. I think that was Angela getting the chills.
- 48:37Did you just take a shot? Or was she taking a
- 48:40shot? We just, why? Angela! This episode is scaring
- 48:48Angela so bad, she just took a shot. You know,
- 48:52we do a lot of talking about how one time at
- 48:57a house in Indiana, we handcuffed Brianna to
- 49:01a bathtub. And handcuffed Angela to a portal
- 49:04closet. I mean, we did turn the experience into
- 49:07a short film called Beware the Haunted Bat Tubs,
- 49:09which is a very serious look at residual energy
- 49:13containment vessels across America. But that's
- 49:16a side note. We do a lot of talking about that
- 49:19one instance because everyone still to this day
- 49:21comments on the TikToks and the short film we
- 49:24made. Is she okay? Why is she handcuffed? Should
- 49:26I call 911? And it's like... perfectly normal
- 49:30yes absolutely normal yeah we were doing a solo
- 49:34ghost hunt and decided to uh handcuff our friend
- 49:38to a bathtub that's a portal to another dimension
- 49:41that's very normal don't ask any follow -up questions
- 49:44please don't contact the police totally normal
- 49:47uh made me wonder though because in the previous
- 49:52episode too angela was saying how like a terrifying
- 49:55instance would be to do that handcuffing but,
- 49:58like, at a big, massive, like, haunted abandoned
- 50:00prison and, like, handcuffed to, like, an entire
- 50:03cell block or whatever and have people, like,
- 50:05role -playing guards and make it really realistic.
- 50:08Yeah. But would that actually be the worst -case
- 50:13scenario? Like, you know all those things where
- 50:16people are like, craft, make your poison, like,
- 50:20craft a dangerous cocktail that will fuck you
- 50:23up, right? We're going to do that tonight. What
- 50:26is the recipe for the most dangerous, fuck you
- 50:31up, solo investigation cocktail that will actually
- 50:35give you one of the elusive, always talked about,
- 50:39but we've never experienced, paranormal hangovers?
- 50:43Oh, God. Welcome to our podcast, where we take
- 50:46deep dives looking at various topics through
- 50:48a paranormal lens. This whole handcuffing thing.
- 50:53to haunted bathtubs then we made a short film
- 50:56about yeah that everyone says call 9 -1 -1 this
- 51:00is crazy what are you doing is that the worst
- 51:03case scenario is there anything worse than being
- 51:06left in a place by yourself handcuffed to a portal
- 51:10that i can definitely think of a lot more you
- 51:13can and we're not discussing this so that the
- 51:16other people can take notes right but by the
- 51:18end of this we should all have an idea on what
- 51:21are most feared possible outcome of a solo investigation
- 51:26challenge would be mine is just being solo that's
- 51:33it i don't like being doing solos on investigations
- 51:36you know i'm also not a big fan of solos but
- 51:40i feel like at this point i've done i've i've
- 51:43done some pretty scary solos you've done enough
- 51:46where like i feel like you can you can be used
- 51:49to it and like Oh, no. No? No, no, no, no, no,
- 51:55no. There's no ever getting used to doing a solo.
- 51:59Literally the scariest one I ever did wasn't
- 52:02the handcuffed one. It was the solo blindfolded
- 52:07Estes method in the basement of Madison Seminary.
- 52:13That was terrifying. That was terrifying. Not
- 52:16terrifying for us, but terrifying for you. Especially
- 52:18since we went back in the footage and you had
- 52:21no idea because you were blindfolded in the dark
- 52:24basement. There was a bat circling her head the
- 52:27whole time. Terrifying footage. Terrifying footage.
- 52:31Also just terrifying in general. You volunteered.
- 52:35Also more terrifying is that I came up with the
- 52:38idea and volunteered to do it. I always put myself
- 52:43in those circumstances, and I don't know why.
- 52:45Well, I know it plays into this theme, right?
- 52:47What's worse, like the worst case scenario type
- 52:50of thing? Because anytime we propose a scary
- 52:54idea, instead of Bree saying, that's scary, she
- 52:59instead proposes something mildly less scary
- 53:02for her to do alone. while we do the even scarier
- 53:07thing. And then afterwards realizes, maybe what
- 53:10I did was more scary. Am I, like, wrong in that?
- 53:14Because every time we say, we're gonna do a,
- 53:18you know, occult -y ritual type of thing, you're
- 53:20like, I'm gonna do a solo, I'm gonna be blindfolded
- 53:23in the basement, and get shit on by a bat. I
- 53:28didn't get shit on by a bat, FYI. It's been so
- 53:32funny. Okay, Brianna, though. You're like, what
- 53:34is the ectoplasmic substance on? Yeah, it meant,
- 53:37like, what would you have thought if you were
- 53:40just doing the Estes method, and you felt something
- 53:43fall on you? I would have flipped shit. I would
- 53:47have been like, oh my god, something just touched
- 53:49me. And then, you know, probably would have ran
- 53:52out of there, tripped myself, probably broken
- 53:56a few things, and then got into the light and
- 53:59realized, oh, that's literally just shit. So
- 54:05Brianna's solo investigation cocktail would include
- 54:09bat shit. Maybe. Damn, you're bat shit. I am
- 54:17bat shit. I couldn't tell. It kind of glitched
- 54:22there. Did you say I'm bad shit or I'm bat shit?
- 54:26Yes. Beware of Brie, guys. She's some bad shit.
- 54:33I don't know if that's a good thing or not. The
- 54:36short film, we should re -release Beware the
- 54:38Haunted Bathtubs as Beware the Bad Shit Haunted
- 54:41Bathtubs. Beware the Bad Shit Bathtubs. There.
- 54:48Okay, so we determined Angela doesn't even need
- 54:51handcuffs. But also, one of the reasons we did
- 54:55the handcuffs, too, wasn't for, like, scary effect.
- 54:59It was, like, literally, like... It was for the
- 55:01commitment. commitment if you don't like doing
- 55:03solos you have to do a solo so doing a solo scary
- 55:07enough this forces you to do it yeah what would
- 55:12what is your guys's scariest place you think
- 55:15would be to do a solo i'd say any so the difference
- 55:19between the madison seminary one and what we're
- 55:22talking about with the handcuffing in the state
- 55:24house in indiana in madison we were still on
- 55:27the property at a state house you were alone
- 55:30in the building Yeah. So I'd say, and this isn't
- 55:34really an answer, but anything that involves
- 55:36actually being alone. Being totally alone. Totally
- 55:39alone. On location. On location. Okay. I was
- 55:43going to say for myself, like, location -wise,
- 55:46doing a solo at a jail would be terrifying. That
- 55:54would be terrifying. Like, you guys know that
- 55:58what energy was left behind from those inmates
- 56:01that were there. Exactly. Exactly. That is. How
- 56:05about we do this? How about we make one big cauldron
- 56:08of one terrible potion? So, so far, our ingredient
- 56:11list is a prison that involves at some point
- 56:14a bat shitting on your head. Yes. So far. And
- 56:18you being, like, totally by yourself on location,
- 56:22nobody else is on property. Yes. Okay. Are you
- 56:26writing this down, Ben? I'm writing this down.
- 56:28If we're going with this sort of scenario and
- 56:32taking it step by step, I feel like if you're
- 56:38in a jail doing a solo, you could potentially
- 56:42remove the handcuffs from the situation and lock
- 56:47someone in a cell for a solo. I think that would
- 56:50be terrifying. Handcuffed. In a cell. No, you
- 56:55don't even need the handcuffs, I feel like. Just
- 56:58locking someone in a cell. Okay. Yeah. That'd
- 57:02be so fun. Locked in a cell, and then a bat is
- 57:06also in the cell shitting on your head? That's
- 57:10terrible. Okay, okay. So let's take it a step
- 57:15further now. Flashlight or no flashlight? Do
- 57:18you want to see what's happening? I think being
- 57:22able to see would be scarier. I also agree with
- 57:27that. Because at Madison, when I was blindfolded
- 57:31for Estes, I felt like if I could see, it would
- 57:35have made things worse. Yeah, because it's like
- 57:37you're going to be like someone's going to look
- 57:38around the corner at you or something like that.
- 57:41Especially at prison, you got all the cells.
- 57:43If you shine the light the wrong way, it casts
- 57:45a shadow. I think having a light would be scarier.
- 57:50It's always just shadows. But what would be scarier?
- 57:54Because if you're blindfolded, you gotta have
- 57:57the handcuffs. You can't just be blindfolded
- 57:59walking around. Yeah. Or would that actually
- 58:03be funny? Or tie your hands around your back?
- 58:05Straight jacket! Straight jacket and blindfold.
- 58:08So you can still walk around and bump into shit.
- 58:11Oh my gosh. Straight jacket. No. Like, that's
- 58:18just a hazard at that point. Okay, so we gotta
- 58:22be a little more grounded here. What's a hazard
- 58:26and what's actually safe? But, okay, blindfolded
- 58:31and restrained, be it straitjacket, handcuff,
- 58:35whatever, or a flashlight, what's scarier, blindfold
- 58:37or a light? Oh. I'd say having a light is probably
- 58:42scarier because of the shadow factor. I do agree.
- 58:50You can trick yourself into believing you're
- 58:52similar. Like, if you don't have the Estus thing
- 58:55set up, and you just have a blindfold, you can
- 58:57fall asleep, close your eyes, force yourself
- 59:00to forget. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so, this sounds
- 59:06weird, maybe to other people, but in our scariest
- 59:10solo scenario, I added a note, you are allowed
- 59:13a flashlight. Because to us, that makes it scarier.
- 59:19Okay. Equipment. Do you have equipment? Do you
- 59:24not have equipment? What would be scarier? I
- 59:28would say having... It depends on the equipment.
- 59:33Yeah, it depends on the equipment. So what would
- 59:35the scariest... I think... Anything that produces...
- 59:41Having either that or... Something that detects,
- 59:46like, is a sensory detector, like a cat ball
- 59:51or a REM pod, like something that tells you that
- 59:55there's something there. Like, say you're locked
- 59:57in a jail cell and you have cat balls lining
- 1:00:00the hallway and you see them slowly light up
- 1:00:03one by one coming in your direction. Yeah. It
- 1:00:08gave me goosebumps. Capitals and REM pods line
- 1:00:13the hallway and then you have an EMF meter in
- 1:00:17the cell? I wouldn't say EMF meter. No, that's
- 1:00:21not going to be scary. A spirit box. Okay, would
- 1:00:25the spirit box static overpowering everything
- 1:00:28else be scarier or less scarier than silence?
- 1:00:33I feel like that's one of the things with the
- 1:00:35spirit box. One of its downsides and one of its
- 1:00:38good sides is like... it creates white noise
- 1:00:41so you can't hear a lot of everything else so
- 1:00:43it's the same thing as like wearing the blindfold
- 1:00:46like if you can't see it you can pretend it's
- 1:00:48not there if you can't hear anything except for
- 1:00:51the white static you can pretend nothing else
- 1:00:54is going on so having that um a filtered spirit
- 1:00:58box or ovulus that gives you words is going to
- 1:01:02be scarier than just white noise spirit box for
- 1:01:05simplicity i just put a word generator device
- 1:01:08in the cell just yeah over explaining but i do
- 1:01:12agree um so i do agree the scariest thing possible
- 1:01:16would be things that detect motion in the hallway
- 1:01:19like cat balls and rempods that would be terrifying
- 1:01:22and then in the cell itself is something that
- 1:01:26would just spit out words or phrases yeah um
- 1:01:30okay but other than that is just ambient sound
- 1:01:34yeah you can hear something walks up to that
- 1:01:37that would be that's the ambient noises i mean
- 1:01:39of course of course in this situation you'd probably
- 1:01:42have like a video camera or like a voice recorder
- 1:01:46i would say yes you want to record the the whole
- 1:01:52thing like that's that's one of the things with
- 1:01:54solos is like it didn't happen unless you have
- 1:01:57proof so well but i'd wager would you're locked
- 1:02:02in a cell would we set up two cameras both outside
- 1:02:05the cell one pointing in one out or would it
- 1:02:09be because i think it would be less scary if
- 1:02:12you are allowed to have a camera that you're
- 1:02:15holding and you're pointing around and that adds
- 1:02:17light and you can just talk yeah i know i don't
- 1:02:20think you should have the camera i think it should
- 1:02:22be like outside the cell You can have the voice
- 1:02:28recorder in the cell with you, though. Yeah,
- 1:02:32yes. But I wrote down that cameras themselves
- 1:02:35outside the cell. Okay, so it is being filmed,
- 1:02:38but you can't access the cameras themselves.
- 1:02:42Which, that's so terrifying, because if you see
- 1:02:45the camera shut off or something, that would
- 1:02:49be so scary. If the cat balls start going off...
- 1:02:53One by one approaching the camera and then the
- 1:02:55camera dies and you can't reach the camera or
- 1:02:57like do anything about it. And as it's a little
- 1:02:59bit of ambient light that now you, you lose.
- 1:03:03Yeah, exactly. Creepy. What was that, Ang? Was
- 1:03:09that like a scared? I think that was Angela getting
- 1:03:13the chills. Do you just take a shot? Or was she
- 1:03:16taking a shot? We just, why? Angela! This episode
- 1:03:25is scaring Angela so bad. She just took a shot.
- 1:03:28What did you take a shot of? She could barely
- 1:03:32drink it. Look at her face. Ben, why do you think
- 1:03:35this is good? This just, this is like spicy water.
- 1:03:39It doesn't even taste like whiskey. It's whiskey.
- 1:03:42I mean, it's the cheapest Canadian whiskey you
- 1:03:45can get, but it goes down smooth. Like you said,
- 1:03:48it's like water. Yeah, it's like water, but it
- 1:03:51doesn't have that, like, itchiness of whiskey,
- 1:03:58you know? It's too watery. I don't know. I don't
- 1:04:02know how else to describe it. Like, oh, God,
- 1:04:04that was, like, not a good taste. That was, like,
- 1:04:06watered -down whiskey. Like, giving that pure
- 1:04:09stuff, that's, like, almost easier and tastes
- 1:04:12better. Should I add to this cocktail, then,
- 1:04:14cheap Canadian whiskey? Oh, God, yeah. No, because
- 1:04:19you can't have something to settle the nerves
- 1:04:21for you. No, you take two shots of cheap Canadian
- 1:04:25whiskey before you get locked in. Okay. Or would
- 1:04:29that make it less scary? That would give you
- 1:04:31a boost of confidence. Yeah. Grandeur. Non -alcoholic
- 1:04:36Canadian spice. Non -alcoholic Canadian spice
- 1:04:39whiskey. Better yet, let's just get an IV going
- 1:04:43with some whiskey. Get it right in your blood.
- 1:04:47If we were at, like, a haunted hospital, that'd
- 1:04:49be... Not realistic for a prison. No. Okay. Speaking
- 1:04:57of... It's a prison. Should we really lean into
- 1:05:00the idea of, okay, how can we make this the most
- 1:05:04terrifying traumatic experience possible for
- 1:05:06the person doing the solo? Should we have at
- 1:05:09one random point during their solo, someone pretending
- 1:05:12to be a guard come in and start banging on cells
- 1:05:15without them knowing? No. Why? I think having
- 1:05:20a mirror in the room facing you. Wait, let's
- 1:05:25go back to the guy being the guy. Is that too
- 1:05:28scary? That kind of ruins the effect of the solo.
- 1:05:32I mean, you could do that when you're closing
- 1:05:35them in, as they're leaving, to stir up activity.
- 1:05:41Yeah, that's a good idea. I don't think having
- 1:05:43someone come in in the middle of the solo would
- 1:05:47make sense. Okay, so just no distractions. You're
- 1:05:50completely alone. No one. but having a mirror
- 1:05:54in the cell i think having a mirror in the cell
- 1:05:57let it face you the whole time like that i don't
- 1:06:02like that and that probably is like the reason
- 1:06:04why it's got to be added to the list yeah that's
- 1:06:07the point that's the point okay um live stream
- 1:06:11or no live stream uh no live stream no live stream
- 1:06:16because I felt comfort when I had a livestream.
- 1:06:20Yeah, no livestream. It felt like I had people
- 1:06:22with me. You could do a livestream that's like,
- 1:06:27so you can't see the phone. Like, they're watching
- 1:06:29you, but they can't see the phone. But then you
- 1:06:32can't, like, comment on what's going on. People
- 1:06:35are just gonna watch you. People ask questions.
- 1:06:36Even still, even still, like, when... it is for
- 1:06:41me especially especially during that like going
- 1:06:44back thinking about that live it's like you build
- 1:06:46a script for yourself and like it makes gives
- 1:06:50you comfort that oh i'm talking to people like
- 1:06:54no matter what you're talking to people so like
- 1:06:57as long as you're talking it tricks your brain
- 1:07:00into thinking that oh okay i'm fine yes plus
- 1:07:04you knew we were watching on the other end of
- 1:07:06the live stream in this scenario even though
- 1:07:10like i don't know why i'm saying brie in this
- 1:07:13case is doing a solo um but if brie was doing
- 1:07:16a solo would she have access to like talk to
- 1:07:21it would we would we even know what's going on
- 1:07:23or is it just a case of we'll be back in 30 minutes
- 1:07:26regardless that's a good question because i feel
- 1:07:31like you've got to have a safeguard of that's
- 1:07:33of like like something Like, in case of, like,
- 1:07:38worst case scenario, you gotta have some way
- 1:07:40to reach each other. We're on the phone, but
- 1:07:45the phone is outside the cell? I don't know.
- 1:07:49Either that or just, no, like, 30 minutes solo
- 1:07:53and we'll come back. Hopefully nobody dies. Well,
- 1:07:59if they do, that's... They can continue the investigation.
- 1:08:05Oh my gosh. Come on. I was totally baiting Angela
- 1:08:13to say something. That was totally an Angela
- 1:08:16sort of... I'm having a hard time focusing. My
- 1:08:19mind's too, like, busy. You know? There's a reason
- 1:08:26I took a shot. I feel like that would have made
- 1:08:30it worse. Yeah. I don't think so. Do you remember
- 1:08:33the last time you drank on this? You were just...
- 1:08:35Talking about Bigfoot being the Antichrist. Okay,
- 1:08:39so no one should die. I'm sorry I tried prompting
- 1:08:43Angela to interject with one of her Angela -isms.
- 1:08:45Are you talking about, like, when you said, like,
- 1:08:48imagine if you, like, you shouldn't do this,
- 1:08:51but, like, imagine if someone dies or gets killed
- 1:08:54and then you do some, like, ghost hunting. Like,
- 1:08:58what kind of activity would that stir up? There
- 1:09:03we go. That's what I wanted. There we go. That's
- 1:09:05what we were looking for. I knew if you just
- 1:09:07planted a seed, Angela would just be like, ooh,
- 1:09:09okay. This is a hypothetical. Like, what if,
- 1:09:12you guys? What if? What if in an extreme scenario?
- 1:09:15I don't want to encourage it, but if someone
- 1:09:17got murdered. Murdered. Murdered. Murder me,
- 1:09:26please. Nobody said that. Okay. Okay, I do almost
- 1:09:34daily say either I need to be euthanized or please
- 1:09:38take me out back and shoot me. Brianna! Who do
- 1:09:44you tell that to? My coworkers. Well, I'm glad
- 1:09:48they're nice people. Tell the wrong person, then.
- 1:09:52You're dead. True. Ange, we sound drunker than
- 1:09:57you do. What's going on? God, I'm just distracted.
- 1:10:02It's all the ghosts in the apartment. She's like
- 1:10:07a dog, you know, the dog says, squirrel, squirrel.
- 1:10:10She's like, ghost, ghost. What do we have so
- 1:10:13far? So far, we have, you are in a prison, completely
- 1:10:19alone, no contact with anybody permitted. You
- 1:10:24are locked in a cell. All cameras are outside
- 1:10:27the cell. No live stream. You are allowed to
- 1:10:30have a flashlight. There are capos and rampods
- 1:10:33in the hallway. You have a word generator device
- 1:10:36in the cell with you. There's also a mirror in
- 1:10:40the cell. And at some point, a bat shits on your
- 1:10:43head. The scariest solo we could come up with.
- 1:10:52At some point, the fat shits on your head. This
- 1:10:56is our creation. Is there anything else to add
- 1:11:02that would make it scarier? We gather a group
- 1:11:06on the outside and we do some sort of ritual
- 1:11:10to summon a scary... uh entity yeah we keep baiting
- 1:11:17angela but she's so like distracted by ghosts
- 1:11:19that she's not yeah but you like you do that
- 1:11:23to like make like have the most scariest entity
- 1:11:27come into how about no why no because it's just
- 1:11:31stupid or it would make it scarier yes both completely
- 1:11:36alone however A coven is hired to conduct a conjuring
- 1:11:50ritual on the grounds while the solo is performed.
- 1:11:56Yes. Oh, boy. Oh, correction. A random coven.
- 1:12:02A random coven. Oh, okay. We don't know what
- 1:12:07that coven's all about. A random coven that has
- 1:12:09not been vetted or we even know anyone in. It's
- 1:12:12a Craigslist coven. I was literally adding a
- 1:12:15random Facebook marketplace coven. No, no, no.
- 1:12:19You can't even do Facebook marketplace. It's
- 1:12:21gotta be Craigslist. Yeah, it gotta be Craigslist.
- 1:12:24A random Craigslist coven is hired to conduct
- 1:12:26a conjuring ritual on the grounds while the solo
- 1:12:29is performed. Oh, gosh. The coven is instructed
- 1:12:38to wear orange jumpsuits simulating escaped prisoners.
- 1:12:52God, what else could we do? It's gotta be on
- 1:13:00a night of a new moon so there is no extra light.
- 1:13:06A new moon at 3 a .m. Ooh, yeah, time. 3 a .m.
- 1:13:103 a .m. Though, honestly, the 3 a .m. thing,
- 1:13:14I feel like... I feel like whenever we do investigations,
- 1:13:18that's when we get the... There's nothing then!
- 1:13:20That's so true. A lot of activity. It's always
- 1:13:22between 10 and midnight. Okay, so 11? 11 .30.
- 1:13:2711 .30. Goes into midnight. Yes. Because we always
- 1:13:31get that big jump at midnight. Yeah. So 11. Not
- 1:13:34at 3. Yeah, it's pretty quiet. Yeah. We can do
- 1:13:3911 .33. 11 .33. Our scariest solo investigation
- 1:13:46takes place at 11 .33pm on a new moon. When should
- 1:13:54the bat shit on your head? 12 .33. At midnight?
- 1:14:00A bat? Well, we can't plan when the bat shit's
- 1:14:04gonna happen. No, no, we just gotta keep - You
- 1:14:06gotta stay in the cell until the bat shit. I
- 1:14:11just thought of something. I just thought of
- 1:14:13something that you guys would absolutely hate.
- 1:14:16What? Having Boo Buddy. Oh my god, no. Boo Buddy
- 1:14:23right out of reach outside the cell? Yeah, I
- 1:14:26wouldn't mind that. That wouldn't make me scared.
- 1:14:29That would just make me angry. But that would
- 1:14:31feed it. Yeah, and you know Boo Buddy says those
- 1:14:34creepy, like, little kid voice things at random
- 1:14:37times. I'm adding it. We know your hatred for
- 1:14:42Boo Buddy, and I share the sentiments, Angela,
- 1:14:45so I'm adding this, because I know it would frustrate
- 1:14:47me to the point it would heighten my anxiety.
- 1:14:50That's fair. That's fair. Gosh. Cat balls and
- 1:14:55REM pods line the hallway. Boo Buddy. Is just
- 1:14:59out of reach. Is just out of reach. And cannot
- 1:15:02be turned off. So annoying. Good question Angela
- 1:15:07alluded to. What? How long is the solo? I'd say
- 1:15:12max 30 minutes. But this is a scarier scenario.
- 1:15:17I'm just thinking practical. Should we just say
- 1:15:2130 minutes then? I think... No, I do think it
- 1:15:24should be 30 minutes because all activity happens
- 1:15:27in like... a 20 30 minute time frame and then
- 1:15:31it starts dwindling out that's usually how the
- 1:15:35patterns go okay what if you round up a little
- 1:15:39bit starts at 11 33 we get you at 12 15. so 45
- 1:15:44minutes 45 yeah that seems good I'm just imagining.
- 1:15:52I mean, my solo at the State House was around
- 1:15:56that long for 45 minutes, I'd say. I'm just trying
- 1:16:00to imagine spending that amount of time in a
- 1:16:05haunted cell. I couldn't even do 20 minutes in
- 1:16:11the basement of Madison. Is there anything else
- 1:16:14we can make this even scarier by adding? Is there
- 1:16:18anything possible? Ooh, I did have an idea that
- 1:16:24just flashed across my brain. What if instead
- 1:16:27of a flashlight, you had candles, like a candle
- 1:16:32and matches? Because that would constantly have
- 1:16:36moving light. I think having a light that randomly
- 1:16:41just flashes in that general area would be pretty
- 1:16:46damn scary. A flashlight that's programmed? to
- 1:16:48just shut off like just turn on and off in five
- 1:16:51minute intervals or something where it goes on
- 1:16:53for five minutes and you're without it for five
- 1:16:55and suddenly no i was not even thinking that
- 1:16:57i'm just thinking like just on and off on and
- 1:17:01off just like that once it wants in a while because
- 1:17:05because it's just like you just have your eyes
- 1:17:07open you're in the pitch black and then all of
- 1:17:09a sudden it's like and then you see everything
- 1:17:12around you and then and then i'm picturing like
- 1:17:15The possessed nun, like, standing in the door.
- 1:17:18I'm thinking, what that's making me think of,
- 1:17:20like, is, like, one of those shutter lights that's
- 1:17:23constantly flashing. Like, a rave light. Oh god,
- 1:17:27that sounds even worse. That would be terrible.
- 1:17:30That would be even worse. What's worse, that?
- 1:17:34Like, a rave light? What's that, is that, like,
- 1:17:36the proper term? I have no idea. Well, but it's
- 1:17:39like a strobe light, right? A strobe light. Yeah,
- 1:17:41a strobe light. There we go. Strobe light or
- 1:17:44old school... Realistically, we probably wouldn't
- 1:17:49be allowed to have a real candle in an old building,
- 1:17:53but like a fake candle or a strobe light. What
- 1:17:56would be... What's the point of a fake candle?
- 1:17:58Yeah, a fake candle wouldn't work. There's no
- 1:18:00point in a fake candle. Yeah. Just a strobe light,
- 1:18:03yeah. Ugh. You're allowed a flashlight, but it's
- 1:18:07a strobe light. So you have the option, be in
- 1:18:11the pitch black or turn on a strobe light. I
- 1:18:14think that makes it scarier. Yeah. Any other
- 1:18:17additions, or is this kind of like the... No,
- 1:18:20I think that's pretty terrifying. I don't know
- 1:18:22what could make that scarier. Let me repeat this.
- 1:18:27So, there's a haunted prison. The bigger, the
- 1:18:31better. You are completely alone inside the prison.
- 1:18:34However, on the grounds of the prison... A random
- 1:18:37Craigslist coven is hired to conduct a ritual
- 1:18:41on the grounds. They are instructed to wear orange
- 1:18:44jumpsuits to simulate escaped prisoners. We start
- 1:18:48the solo at 11 .33pm on a new moon when we lock
- 1:18:52whoever's doing the solo in the cell, and we
- 1:18:57enter the building to get them 45 minutes later
- 1:19:00at 12 .15. All cameras are outside the cell,
- 1:19:03no livestream or phone. No contact with anyone
- 1:19:06on the outside. You are allowed to have a flashlight,
- 1:19:09but it's a strobe light. There are cat balls
- 1:19:11and REM pods lining the hallway, and Boo Buddy
- 1:19:14is just out of reach and cannot be turned off.
- 1:19:16There is a word generator device in the cell
- 1:19:18with you, as well as a mirror. And we purposefully
- 1:19:23place a bat in the cell in hopes that it shits
- 1:19:26on your head. My only question remaining. Sounds
- 1:19:31so good. What should the threshold be? How many
- 1:19:35listens does this episode need to get for us
- 1:19:39to make this a reality? A hundred thousand. A
- 1:19:44hundred thousand? Oh, I was thinking like a realistic.
- 1:19:48Realistic? No, I don't want to do this. What
- 1:19:50are you talking about? We're not going to get
- 1:19:53a hundred thousand listens. Yeah, that's impossible.
- 1:19:57I'd say a thousand. If we get a thousand. A thousand
- 1:20:00by a certain day. Okay. A thousand... I think
- 1:20:05even... Like, I think a thousand is still a lot
- 1:20:08if you guys are trying to be realistic. You guys...
- 1:20:13You say you guys as if, like, you're not included
- 1:20:15in this. Four hundred. I was even gonna go lower
- 1:20:21than that being realistic. Three fifty. I'd say
- 1:20:25one fifty. One... No. We could get that. We could
- 1:20:29get that. We average... in the 40 to 60 range
- 1:20:35per episode. So that's double? No. It's gotta
- 1:20:39be at least 500. Okay. No, I wouldn't say 500.
- 1:20:43Yeah, let's say 400. 400, and we play Jenga,
- 1:20:47and someone has to do a solo in a jail. So when's
- 1:20:53this coming out? Oh, bright computer. Okay, this
- 1:20:56is coming out... Next week on. July 30th. So
- 1:21:03if by. September 1st. This episode has. 400 listens.
- 1:21:11We will do a. Live streamed. Jenga game. We'll
- 1:21:17do best 2 out of 3. Live. And by the end of.
- 1:21:24The year. If possible. At least one year from
- 1:21:27the date of the recording. We will. book a big
- 1:21:31abandoned haunted prison and make this a reality.
- 1:21:35Ugh. I'm just, uh, because I'm going to end up
- 1:21:41losing Jenga. You're the one that said 400! I
- 1:21:45said 1 ,000! Well, I said 100 ,000 and you guys
- 1:21:49said, no, you've got to be more realistic. Because
- 1:21:52we're not getting 100 ,000. If we said 100 ,000,
- 1:21:55Taben's going to be out there sharing this 5
- 1:21:57million times for no reason. Think about Taven.
- 1:22:00Poor Taven. At least give him a purpose in life.
- 1:22:04Come on. He's gonna be sharing this and then
- 1:22:07he's like, why am I even sharing this? There's
- 1:22:10no point. Not even Taven knows 100 ,000 people.
- 1:22:16I'm gonna lose, Jenga. Now, if every episode
- 1:22:21of Malice in the Mitten was a person, we would
- 1:22:24have 100 ,000 votes. They have a lot of episodes.
- 1:22:28Yeah. Oh, goodness. Especially if you add up
- 1:22:32everything on the XL network. Okay. So enough
- 1:22:40babbling. We need to make it clear. Everyone
- 1:22:42that's still listening, you are the November
- 1:22:45fans. If you want us in November, we'll do it
- 1:22:49in November just for you. If you want a November
- 1:22:52livestream, a special two out of three Jenga
- 1:22:56match live only for you. We'll give a Zoom link
- 1:22:59only to the November fans to watch that will
- 1:23:03determine who, within a year's time, will do
- 1:23:06this terrifying solo in the prison while a coven
- 1:23:09is outside. We'll play it straight. We'll even
- 1:23:12find a Craigslist coven. We'll let ChatGPT write
- 1:23:17the Craigslist post. Get this to 400 listens
- 1:23:26by September 1st. And September 1st is a Tuesday.
- 1:23:35So got a couple weeks to do it. If we do somehow
- 1:23:41get enough listens, we will record an announcement
- 1:23:44on that Tuesday, September 1st, to post as that
- 1:23:47week's episode saying, fuck Bree, you're fucked.
- 1:23:54Okay, step outside of yourselves for a moment.
- 1:23:59just think as like an objective third party who
- 1:24:03would be the best so like who would contribute
- 1:24:07or create the best footage to watch back like
- 1:24:10who would make for the best solo on a playback
- 1:24:13not me i feel like you brianna I feel like Ben
- 1:24:24or I would probably do... I'm glad that everyone
- 1:24:28agrees it's not me. Yeah, we were just like,
- 1:24:31they're not Bianche, I hope it's Brie. No! Just
- 1:24:35for that, I hope it's you, Ben. Well, you know
- 1:24:38I'm just gonna, like... Something's gonna happen,
- 1:24:40and I'm gonna say afterwards, like, yeah, I think
- 1:24:42I saw, like, an alien, you guys. And then we're
- 1:24:44gonna have a whole podcast about, like, my alien
- 1:24:46sighting, and then you guys are gonna be like,
- 1:24:48eh, this Ben guy's kinda nuts. I just saw an
- 1:24:50alien. God, I hope it doesn't get 400 listens.
- 1:24:55I'm not gonna listen to that episode. I've listened
- 1:24:58to every single episode so far, just, like, as
- 1:25:02a refresher, because I don't remember what we
- 1:25:04talked about by the time that the episodes come
- 1:25:06out. And... I'm not going to listen to that episode
- 1:25:10because I don't want to add to the total. You're
- 1:25:13that scared? I mean, that was the point of the
- 1:25:17episode. I do not want to end up having to do
- 1:25:21a solo in a haunted jail cell. But we know...
- 1:25:25Angela's not on right now. Should we form a pact
- 1:25:29right now that if this happens, if either of
- 1:25:32us loses, we make it, in the moment, a best three
- 1:25:36out of five? just so that it so we'll make a
- 1:25:40pact right now okay we gotta show this angela's
- 1:25:43gonna lose this she's not on right now okay it's
- 1:25:48three out of five all right anyway anyways continue
- 1:25:50sorry i just want to get that out um angela's
- 1:25:53gonna lose no matter what yeah i was gonna say
- 1:25:55no oh i don't know what are you what are you
- 1:25:59talking about we didn't say anything Thanks for
- 1:26:04listening to this week's episode of Paranormal
- 1:26:06Lens. If you liked what you heard, every five
- 1:26:09-star rating and positive review tells the algorithms
- 1:26:12we're a worthy podcast and pushes us out to more
- 1:26:15listeners. We appreciate each and every one of
- 1:26:18you, and we'll see you next Thursday for another
- 1:26:20paranormal deep dive.
