- Lord Hinkie: Ladies and... Gentlemen! welcome back to another episode of the zng dynasty podcast and yes i don't know what that was either but it was fun to do they guys listen and appreciate guys tuning in as always and i'm by my right hand man my true ninja today he's actually one with the darkness ninja say hi to the people big fella ninja: What's going on everybody? Thank you for having me back. Yes, we are in darkness today. I went back to my homeland and we are discreet this episode. no picture because I'm a true ninja. I'm just out there in the darkness leading to leading you to the right fantasy takes. In the dark, I don't need a camera on me. I don't need the spotlight. I just give you the Lord Hinkie: No. ninja: right information. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. So elusive, the guy can't even find the light, which is very impressive. But yeah, I'm excited to get into this one. were a little bit of, you know, pulling the curtain back. ninja: We were yapping. Lord Hinkie: We've been here in this podcast house for an hour now, just yapping. So we're finally going to get into this podcast. I say we just head right into it, buddy. ninja: Let's get after it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, let's get to, as you know, we do the goods and the bads. Starting off with our goods, good things that happened in week six. My first one. Darn tootin, baby. These London Jaguars end up losing to the Texans, but Bichal Tootin had a very good game. Did have 12 carries, 39 yards, crazy, but four catches, 48 yards, two touchdown receptions. love to see it Chris Rodriguez did get a little bit of work in that game but I'm not too worried because I like to in pass catching ability but you know me and then to love some some darn toots ninja: Love some Darn Toots. Love everything about it. Been on Darn Tootin' from day one. this was a great game and I think something we'll see more often is his pass catching ability. I don't think that's been featured a lot. I think it'll get featured a lot more going forward. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I think that's probably more with having the Jaguars. They've been winning most of their games. And in this one, it was kind of a back and forth one with the Texans. So if this is what is to come, I kind of like it for Bashal. Next good here, Jeremy Bernard, little St. Bernard action. 11 catches, 87 yards and a touchy on 12 targets from Aaron Rodgers. Am I just wrong about another wide receiver? ninja: Or we can consider it am I right about a receiver? Cause I remember Lord Hinkie: That's just... ninja: I had him ranked so much higher than you did. Lord Hinkie: It was like, I had him in like 12 and you had him at like 7. ninja: Which was a a big drop in this last year's class. Lord Hinkie: Yes. I just... ninja: I'm just gonna say I'm right again. I don't know. Lord Hinkie: He I but I think what he is doing now is what I did see at Alabama It just didn't excite me, but I I don't think I took into consideration that even though it doesn't excite me his game style is Translatable and it's it's easy like ninja: It translates It's production. Lord Hinkie: it's short easy routes. Nothing crazy. He's got decent hands. He's not explosive He's not fast. He's not shifty, but he just catches the ball for six yards. ninja: Hey, I mean the ninja strikes again? Add it add it to the tally. Lord Hinkie: It's getting exhausting at this point. Next good on our list, Chuba Hubbard. Had himself a day against the birds. Definitely predictable. I hope everybody started him. I'm sure you did. 28 carries, 120 yards, and a touch. Big day against this bird. Birds can't stop anything. Birds can't stop the cold. ninja: No, if you listen to Last Pod, I said it was all out on the birds last week. You start all their Panthers and he succeeded. Essentially this whole offense should be on there, but Schubert Hubbard I do think had the best day. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: so good for him. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, Coker looked good, Tet looked good, Tommy Tremble ended up with two touchdown catches just... Frustration next good on our list a couple of Giants Malik neighbors and Isaiah likely again just producing for this New York Giants football team neighbors 12 catches 165 yards likely six catches basically 100 yards at a touchdown Week in and week out you got to start these two from now on obviously neighbors, but Likely right now. He's the tight end one in fantasy with a couple of big weeks, but You just he's he's a week in week out starter no matter what ninja: Yeah, you have to start him, and the interesting thing for me is they only really got going once JJ McCarthy got in the game. What is the level of JJ McCarthy? It's all gotta be gauge, we'll figure it out, but in the meantime, you're loving this for neighbors and likely must starts in your lineup. Lord Hinkie: for sure and we'll definitely talk about McCarthy a little bit later. excited to get into that one. Next good on our list, opening day pretty much for Omar Cooper Jr. Six catches, 103 yards, one tutty, 50 yard bomb. Had himself a pretty decent day. I don't know if this is gonna be a weekend and week out thing. Obviously this is his first full game in the NFL but if you're gonna have a debut like this, you're gonna have me talking so I'm a little interested to see if this keeps going for Omar Cooper. ninja: Yeah, I'm a little intrigued. my problem with it is do they like Omar Cooper more? Do they like Kenyon Sadiq more? I think they like Kenyon Sadiq. I don't think this is gonna be part of the everyday game plan for the Jets. a very good debut though, not to take anything away from them. a very good showing for Omar Cooper. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I think I agree. good on the other side of this game for the Patriots, Demario Douglas. Had himself a pretty good day. So Romeo Dobbs, I guess we'll end up talking about later, but is out. Demario Douglas had himself a day because AJ Brown was dropping every pass that was thrown to him. Douglas, is he the... You were talking about it, but I think he definitely is the wide receiver that owned there for the Patriots. I guess besides AJ Brown now, who's healthy? ninja: Shoddy like a Melody. Always been a Demario Douglas guy. I be I think I said it last week, probably said it the week before. I'm a low key Demario Douglas guy, and he just proved what I've been seeing in little spurts. but with Romeo Dobbs out, I expect a big uptick in Demario Douglas. I think he's very good as a flex for weeks going forward. Lord Hinkie: I Demaro Douglas to you is like Adonai Mitchell to me. But at least Demaro Douglas is like, produced at the NFL level. Next good on our list, ninja: Ha ha. Lord Hinkie: the Chicago Bears offense with Caleb Williams back in the lineup. mean, Kaleeb, 30 for 36 passing, 83 % completion percentage, 305 yards in a tutty, nothing crazy, but like crazy completion percentage, moving the ball around to all of his big assets. Burden had a good day. Loveland had a really good day, caught a touchdown. Odunze looked good. Both running backs getting work. De'Entre Swift and Roshan Johnson with no manungai playing. But this offense looks right back to where it was before Caleb went down. ninja: Very smooth and believe it or not, when the Bears have an actual good quarterback, this offense is gonna hum. love everything Lord Hinkie: Yeah, so many weapons. ninja: about it. I think the big question here for me is 'cause Loveland had that rough start to the year. Is he back? I believe so. I think he's a must start in all lineups going forward. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, no question. I know you were debating on it, looking back at it, but right now, he's hot bet. He's hot again. Roll. Next on our list. Cow Pits. continues to frustrate Finnish football owners. Five catches, 60 yards, two touchdowns. man hope you started because i know there's a lot of people who will be i saw the first five weeks and really know i'm good and they probably sat in this week and then he goes off so he's just incredibly frustrating but hey cut the test and passes ninja: Hey man, I'm not saying this is my note because it's not Junior can verify. someone in this podcast realm said who? Lord Hinkie: you ninja: Not my words, I'm gonna I'm gonna stay pretty impartial here. I'm just not gonna say anything at all. Do I trust it going forward? No. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, me neither. ninja: But Cow Pitts owners, you had a week, enjoy it while it lasts. but I'm not putting slander out there. The other unnamed person on this podcast did. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, the Z just to give you guys a hint next on our list Matthew Gold and baby Huge huge Sunday football game against the Cowboys six catches on 13 targets and yes, I know He dropped at least one touchdown and another big play. I know But he did have six catches for 104 yards and a touch The kid looks really good. He gets open Gotta work on the hands, gotta bring those in. He's young, I think he will, but I'm gonna have to go with him. Pretty good day at Sunday football. ninja: Junior, I think it's safe to say, walk with this guy, know? Bring it out there in Lord Hinkie: I'm walking, I'm not, ninja: the streets. Lord Hinkie: yeah, I'm not running laps with this kid, but I'm walking. ninja: No, you're taking to the park, enjoying a nice day. Have out in public. Enjoy this take. You were right. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Yeah. I think he's shown me enough to where I can get excited about this kid. be getting excited. Kenneth Walker against the LA Chargers, 19 carries, 128 yards, another two touchdowns. He's unstoppable. That's all I got. Like, he's just... ninja: He's been so good this opening part of the year. Lord Hinkie: I know there's been a lot of hype around the, you want the running back for the Kansas City Chiefs like thing. Like obviously it happened with, man, what was that running max name that I drafted first overall that ended up sucking for the Kansas City Chiefs? Clyde ninja: Clyde Edwards Hilaire. Lord Hinkie: C-E-H baby. It's like, yeah, he's going to be another C-E-H or it's like, he's, you know, as he's Isaiah Pacheco and it's like, he's Kareem Hawn. It's like, whatever. Kenneth Walker is the real deal. He's a dog. He's a great running back. He's a running back that they can just give 20 carries to and not even think about it. And he just produces. He's going to pop one. He's going to get you in. If you're within the 10 yard line, like you give it to him three times, you're scoring. It's, he's a stud. ninja: Yeah, and I'm surprised you don't take him 'cause I know you were higher on him than probably most of us who were scouting him at the time. You were a big canine kind of guy. Yeah. Lord Hinkie: when he came on college yes i did like a lot he's just appear running back he was in the past catcher he was this high upside track runner type running back but he was pure i like them a lot on it i want to see the season my guy from like scouting but i definitely like to more than consensus next good ninja: More than me, that's for sure. Yeah. Lord Hinkie: next good on our list tree talker baby who called it man I hope someone listens to this podcast and they bet a Trey Tucker anytime touchdown, because I did. I didn't bet 2 plus though. I showed a 5 catches, 97 yards, 2 touchdowns including a late bomb from Kirkko Cousins. Kirkko Cousins is balling, I should have him on this list. That dude's playing some ball right now. But Trey Tucker looked awesome, and I called it. Mostly this is me just bragging about myself. ninja: Hey man, if you wouldn't have caught it last week, I would have. This is a shared victory. Always been a Trey Tucker kind of guy. love everything about it. Kirko Chains is balling right now. I don't think we see Fernando Mendoza the rest of the year. I don't think you Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: can do it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Injuries aside, I think it's you got to go with Kerko. and last good on our list is us. Ladies and gentlemen, does ENG Parlay hit from last week? Yes. yes it did ninja: There it is. Need it. Lord Hinkie: needed it we got to now two and three weeks i believe but hope you guys better hope you guys want some money i know i did and other fellows did bia big i got matthew golden actually forget who bit zig bet george kettle and you chris a lot of it gorgeous ninja: That is a beautiful bet and I'm glad George Kittle didn't make us sweat too much on Monday night. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, it felt good to have him hit in that first drive and then you get to just watch the game for fun. moving on now to our bads list finally we get to talk about this Thursday night football game but i got both quarterbacks on this list for the bads sam darnold and bonix darnold back to his old days we're throwing two picks we're getting like fifty percent completion percentage and we're looking bad we're taking a lot of sacks the good old sam darnold days he does not look like he's comfortable back there you can't have sam darnold throwing the ball fifty times You're going to lose football games if you give him the ball too much. But with no run game, with no January on price or like really anybody right now, I get it. But like you're asking to lose football games if you're asking Sam Darnold to throw 50 times. And then on the contrary, Bo Nicks for the Broncos 17 for 26 passing, sure. Or for 107 yards as a quarterback. What are we doing? ninja: It's a rough look. Lord Hinkie: awful. ninja: I I told you guys last week, they brought out the nice jerseys 'cause this was gonna be a gross game and the ninja was right again. Struck again. You don't bring out those beautiful Lord Hinkie: Ooh, pretty colors. ninja: alternates if it's not gonna be a gross game. Hate to see it. Lord Hinkie: And he's not even like, Bo Nix isn't even running the ball to give you any glimmer of hope. Fantasy ninja: No, he's doing nothing. Lord Hinkie: wise, he's doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. ninja: Throwing it five yards behind the line of scrimmage. Lord Hinkie: It almost looks like what Arch Manning is doing for Texas. Like it's all screen passes, short passes, throws behind the line of screen, it's check downs. Or you just take a sack. That's all it is. moving on to our next bad here juan johnson tough one yet if you told me the saints throughout thirty four points and tiresharken three touchdown passes i would have been like all case like a lot of angel and johnson a pretty good day it's like well i'll have a good john johnson would up a dot zero over all can't do it. know a lot of people probably started them, especially in this Giants matchup, but can't be throwing up duds this late in the season. ninja: I if you're putting all your eggs in your basket for Jawan Johnson, Penn State Legend, It's a little rough, but yes, he deserves to be on the bed. Lord Hinkie: Penn State wide receiver by the way. ninja: just I hope you didn't have to throw all your eggs in this basket because it was bound to happen at some point. It just happened in a week where you didn't think it was gonna happen. but he was bad. Lord Hinkie: His matchups for the end of the year look really good for playoff first like Talk so if you're someone that needs a tight end you want to buy low on some Johan Johnson this might be the week to do it Speaking of buying low came scataboo got mini benched by the Giants He was in there. He was dressed. He had a lot of snaps But he did not get one single carry or target, so I don't really know what's going on there with came scataboo It seems like he got benched for some reason or some kind of disciplinary action. I don't know, but he literally got nothing. And then they cut Najee Harris after he got about what'd get, six carries this week? Yeah, Najee Harris finally gets some work for the Giants and he is in an interview and he talks about how he couldn't really get into a rhythm because, you know, he only got four carries and it was like once per quarter. And he was like, yeah, you can't really get into a rhythm if you like, not getting the ball consistently. And they cut him. the next day. ninja: This is the funniest story of the weekend. Cam Scattaboo, coach's decision, DNP, kinda like earlier this year on my on the podcast here. Coach's decision DNP had a bad ankle. I did and had to miss a podcast first time ever. That's what the s Cam Scataboo is. Maybe I got in the bad graces of the coaching staff here, but Najee, he says probably the realest thing any running back has ever said. Where you need a rhythm to get something going in the run game, which is true for all running backs everywhere, gets cut immediately. whichever horror ball that is there has a very tight leash. not sure if I like it. Maybe they just think Camp Scadabow's coming back this week, had a week off, essentially. Tyrone Tracy did his thing. Don't need Najee Harris, but man, this This is a rough look for the Giants coaching staff because I can't see or imagine or think of any other situation that this happened in where one person said one bad thing and got fired the next day essentially. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I know if you're Najee Harris, you don't have long of a leash, but I mean, these hard balls are playing, they're hard-nosed hard balls for a reason. They're taking no crap, like zero. ninja: I mean but this guy is used like for Najee's Harris defense, he's used to twenty carries a game and you could see Najee Harris, he always got a little bit better as the game gone on. So he's used to seeing fifteen, twenty carries, and he his yards per carry, I'm sure if you look it up, got better the later in the game you went. So he was looking for a little momentum, never got it, and just said one thing about it, cut. See ya later. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, now they look good for the Giants. Speaking of, Jameis Winston got benched for J.J. McCarthy in this Giants game. And it seems like, I mean, at least I would assume that they're now giving the reins to J.J. McCarthy. I think Jameis might have thrown his last pass for the Giants. And now we kind of move on and see what J.J.'s got for us. I wouldn't say, McCarthy definitely looked better than Jameis did. but I wouldn't say neither of them looked particularly good. McCarthy was able to move the ball, Still had some J.J. McCarthy plays in there. ninja: Hey man, at the end of the day it's the Saints too. how well are we judging this? I don't know. I think McCarthy does get the nod from here on out, but am I gonna start at JJ McCarthy? No. Lord Hinkie: I think you still roll out neighbors and likely though no matter what the quarterback is. ninja: Agreed. Lord Hinkie: next bad on our list holy crap i have to talk about this guy remondre stevenson got the job trevon henderson is healthy but he's limited now because of his whole hamstring knee injury but remondre stevenson got fourteen carries for thirty six yards that's two point six yards carry this guy absolutely stinks and i hate that i have to like keep bringing it up I don't have to keep bringing it up because I think most people know that Remainder Stevenson stinks, but they're still starting him in fantasy because he's expected to be a starting running back for an NFL team, and he's the least talented football player I've ever seen in my entire life. If Remainder Stevenson has no haters, it's because I'm dead. ninja: Ha ha ha. Lord Hinkie: If there's no haters from Andre Stevenson in the world, that means that I am not a liar. I don't know why I hate this guy, but I do. He stinks. ninja: I mean the offensive line running game is not good to give him a little bit of credit, but yes, he does suck. He is bad. Probably shouldn't start. Trevion Henderson owners are crying in their backseat of their cars after getting off a tough nine to five, like Where is my guy? Hate to see it, but it's the way they want to roll. Like I said a couple weeks ago, I think he's got something on Robert Kraft. Lord Hinkie: has to. He's got something dirty. ninja: Has some dirt. Lord Hinkie: Next bat on our list, Derek Henry. Didn't have an awful day. 17 carries, 58 yards. Also caught a pass. But that's not Derek Henry numbers. Against the Cleveland Browns. You expect more. I think that's only like six fantasy points. Maybe seven fantasy points. Not good. Not awful, but it's not good and we expect more. Speaking of expecting more, we'll kind of just tie him into this too. Bijon Robinson. Another dud week, 9 carries, 61 yards, which you would see that and you're like, man, he had 7 yards to carry. But they just didn't give him the ball. He didn't catch a single pass. I actually know he caught 2 passes for negative 8 yards. I just saw that. So yeah, just not a good day for Bijan. You expect more than like 6 or 7 fancy points from Bijan Robinson. So those two RBs, if you had them, you probably lost this week. ninja: Yeah, sorry for all the guillotine guys still trying to stick it in there. you really got screwed this week with running backs. Hate to see it. Lord Hinkie: i hate on him in here it's like the ninja: It's expected. Lord Hinkie: beating a dead horse the chargers man i don't know how they can continue to look this piss poor They're just bad. It's bad football. ninja: You know the the last time the Chargers were and six, Jim Harbaugh was starting quarterback for the Chargers? It's only right. Lord Hinkie: Was he really? ninja: Yeah, it's only right in the world. I saw that post today. Lord Hinkie: Now comes back around. ninja: Full circle, baby. Lord Hinkie: they're just they have no run game they have no offensive line there's no wide receivers that are healthy lamacon kithing left this game and like herbert's playing bad but he there is nobody there so like i hate to like but he's he's not playing good offense lines that playing good is no i received a throaty run games nonexistent it's a bad football team that's why your own six ninja: It's a rough look and the main thing here is 'cause Herbert has dealt with bad before. Herbert has been bad. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: that's it. Like let's stop putting the blame anywhere else. Herbert needs to be better for this team to do anything, and he hasn't done it. Like I said a week ago or two weeks ago, it's a Madison Beer curse. I'd accept it too, but it'd be what it be. Lord Hinkie: do be would it do be. Next bat on our list Jake Ferguson had himself another dud week. I told you not to start him and I hope he didn't. Two catches 13 yards and he had another tipped should have been catch ended up being an interception play which is impressive to do in back-to-back weeks honestly. He's not the sole reason the Cowboys lost that Sunday football game but he is our reason and I don't feel comfortable starting him moving forward. ninja: I wouldn't either. like every year in fantasy tight end is volatile. Jake Ferguson is very far down on the pecking order of where I wanna start tight ends. Probably somewhere in the mid twenties, so Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I was going to say that even in our two tight ends, like you start two tight end leagues, I'm still trying to maybe start somebody else. ninja: Yeah, it's like trying to find anyone else. Do I like an Elijah Arroyo week, Lord Hinkie: yeah you're a rare in from the patriots michael mayor i would start michael mayor over jake vergeson ninja: Maybe. Michael Mayor easily. Easily. Lord Hinkie: he's tied into in his team if you count barbara's and and next bad on our list marshall noy'd running back to green bay packers eight carries ten yards so i need to say anymore ninja: Hey, hey. Do you know what he did? He made the ninjas bust off the week! terrible. Terrible. Can't have this. This is horrendous. Starting in every flex spot, every running back spot. You have to start Marshawn Lloyd because he's seen work on the goal line. Maybe the worst performance of this year. Like literally terrible. he earned he he actually came to my office and said, Hey, I got you this week. I won't make the decision hard. I'm the bus of the week. He did it. So Marshall Lloyd Lord Hinkie: He turned himself in. ninja: Bust of the Week. You know what I mean? Hate to see it. Lord Hinkie: That's my favorite bit that you do. love this bit. And on the other side, Pierre Strong ended up having a pretty good game. I liked Pierre Strong a couple of years ago when he came out. Obviously, he's been hopping around the league for a while trying to find a spot on a roster, but he finally got some work in this Sunday game. I feel like he looked pretty decent. mean, 11 carries, 20 yards, but he had five catches for 39 yards. He had some juice to him. I'd keep an eye on that Pierre Strong. if Josh Jacobs ends up still being out, which I think he's probably coming. ninja: I think he's coming back. Does Pierre Strong have juice? Yes. Would you start him ever? No. God no. Something has to happen for him to start. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, probably not unless something drastic happens, but I'm Your dynasty leagues. I'd be interested in stashing him as a backup Last bad on our list I should say the Eagles medical staff. Honestly, whoever the medical expert is for the Philadelphia Eagles I'm sure I can find his name, but I don't care to God awful Decision-making do you want to take this over? Go ahead? ninja: I I'ma I'ma take this over. I'ma take this over. you have one job to do as a medical professional is to treat injuries in the best way you know how. You find out a guy has blood clotch, right? And you let him suit up for a game. You let him stay up, they make him stay up thirty six hours and then start an NFL game. What are we doing? This is malpractice. There has to be a suit here. Cause Jalen Hurts literally could have died. This is unexplainable negligence from the Eagles organization, any medical personnel there. This is medical malpractice. And Jalen Hurts didn't have a bad week. Right? Like the week before. Knowing what was going in, going into London. He didn't have a bad week, but you don't play him that game. If I find out I have bloodcotch, you think I'm going into work? Maybe because I'm not jailing hurts making money. But You can't have this as an organization. Making you play through blood clots. What are we doing? Shut him down. Try and find him the best medical care he can. He did enough for this city. Where he's already a Philly legend. He doesn't need to do more. And you make him go out there in London, 36 hours, no sleep, blood clotch in your leg, probably spread, and it did spread to his lungs, I heard in recent reports. Lord Hinkie: Mm-hmm. ninja: What are we doing? This is a massive problem. And I that there's money at stake and there's money everywhere. And they made him play through this game, should have won the game, but different knowing the circumstances now. Why are we putting players in this spot? You do everything for a city, you do everything the right way. There hasn't been a single problem with Jalen Hurts ever, on any front. And you make him play with blood clots. What are we doing? This is top down organ organizational failure from the Eagles. This is Howie included. And I love Howie. You don't let him go out there. I know g competitors are gonna do competitor things and try and play and try and fight through and build. No, you set him in the tent and you say you don't move. That's where you are today. Get better for your family, get better for you. This is one of the worst acts I've seen actually recorded in the history of the NFL with medical conditions. I don't know what else I can say that this is one of the worst things I've ever seen football medical injuries do is make a guy play with butt blood clots. This is terrible. This is awful. This is a bad look for the Eagles. This is a bad look for the NFL. And I'm sorry it happened. But it did. the negligence of this here. There should be many, many, many fires here. I just don't know the medical staff of the Eagles. So I will move on with just saying that the whole thing needs wiped out. We can't have this ever. I don't I don't care who it is. You don't let him play. This is a safety standard. You can't let this happen. Gary, please take a Lord Hinkie: I don't think I could have said it better myself to be honest. Yeah, just poorly handled across the board. Not only do we misdiagnose him with superficial blood clots in London, we then allow him to play, fly him back in a plane with blood clots to find out that it's actually deep vein thrombosis and there's a high level chance that he can. move some blood clots to his lungs and cause a pulmonary edmalism, which could be life-threatening. And then it turns out we do another scan and he does have multiple blood clots in his lungs. Handled incredibly poorly by this Eagles medical staff. Very, very disappointing. You would think that they would be able to find the best of the best. And I'm sure maybe, you you don't deal with blood clots a lot in NFL players. Maybe it's not your expertise there. But if it's not, find somebody else who is, you know. This is the NFL we're talking about. This is our multi hundred million dollar quarterback we're talking about. And this is a guy's life, you know? This is not anything to just mess around with. Handled poorly. I initially, kind of got to backtrack a little bit here. I initially was a little thrown off by the report that Jalen Hurts was seeking private medical advice outside of the NFL or the Eagles organization. I kind of gave me, you know, like Russell Wilson vibes from back in the day where, know, Russell Wilson has his team that he talks to first and then they talk to the Broncos for him. That whole situation where, you know, Russell Wilson had his own office upstairs, aside from like Sean Payton's in Denver. And it gave me those kinds of vibes like, you think you're bigger than the team kind of thing. Then to find out that he was misdiagnosed by the Philadelphia Eagles medical staff and at this private health was actually able to find these blood clots in his lung and then treat him properly with anticoagulation and blood thinners. I was like, OK, so he was right all along. Shocker, Jalen Hurts knows what the hell he's doing. Just handled poorly. I also hate how Nick Sirianni has to be the one to go in front of reporters and the press and answer medical questions like he knows what he's talking about. That's not Nick's fault and I love blaming Nick Sirianni for things. That's not Sirianni's fault. That's Howie Roseman, Jeffery Lurie, and whoever the head of the medical staff is there. You gotta put yourself out there, take the blame, answer the questions. Don't throw Nick out there as his scapegoat just for him to say, it's not my call guys, I'm sorry, 10 times during the interview process. Can't happen. It looks awful. This organization needs to get its crap together. It's just, it's falling apart. So fast. ninja: This was negligent. this is bad. this is almost criminal offense. this is so bad for the Eagles organization. the amount of negligence in this case with Jalen Hurts, you make a guy play with blood clots? What are we doing? People don't play with turf toe and a sprained ankle and we're letting a guy play with blood clots? Come on now. What are we doing? I lost all faith and 'cause the Eagles as I've seen it right now, no changes to the medical staff. Th there's no fires there, there's no anything there. Someone needs to be held accountable for this and the Eagles are not doing it. I'm disgusted by this. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, it's so bad to where the NFLPA is investigating the Eagles medical staff and the medical team that provided care for Jaylen Erd. And I think they should. ninja: Terrible, they should. This is awful. Lord Hinkie: And moving into our next, we're going to talk about the injuries that happened in week six. Jalen Hurts is out for the year with blood clots in his lungs and he needs to be put on blood thinners. And obviously you cannot play football on blood thinners. So yeah, Jalen Hurts is going to be out for the rest of the season. This, the Eagle season right now is a wash. We're on Jeremiah Love Watch. We're on, you know, who's going to look good for us next year watch. It's, that kind of season. ninja: Yeah, I hate to see it. Jeremiah Smith maybe comes this way, but I think we're to be honest, the way Howie works thing is are we a mess maker kind of time kind of team? That that young kid. Lord Hinkie: We're good ahead of it? ninja: but no, I feel so bad for Jalen Hurts and for all Philly people out there, man, this is such a rough look and I hate to be a part of it. E even just talking about I hate talking about it. But Lord Hinkie: I hate it because we used to be the organization that other NFL teams wanted to mold themselves to be. Like years ago when the Eagles were in back to back Super Bowls and we win one and we look awesome in the other and everyone's like, we want to be just like the Eagles. Let's go take all their offensive coordinators. Let's go grab all the assistant GMs underneath Howie Roseman and try and be like the Eagles because that's who we strive to be. and to see where we've fallen, to see what this organization looks like today, ninja: It's disgusting. Lord Hinkie: it's what happened. Our fall from grace will be studied and I'm not excited to watch that documentary. ninja: I h I hope to not talk about this again because this is so disgusting. I might actually like put out my own letter to the NFLPA. Like, why is this happening to players? This is unacceptable. At a human level, who cares about teams? Who cares about money? At a person level, you can't do this. And they did it. And it's the most disgusting act in football I've seen in a long time. Lord Hinkie: Alright, moving on to the next one here before we both go on another big rant. Jeremiah Love was out last week with the high ankle sprain. I think his status for this next week is also up in the air, so I would just keep an eye on that for your Jeremiah Love, Tyler Augier shares. But looks like he's got high ankle sprain he's dealing with. Romeo Dobbs got put on IR. Looks like he's expected to come back after their bye week. And I just looked at it. Week 11, so he should be back around week 12. But AJ Brown is back for that Patriots wide receiver room. And you know, my guy Ninja loves some Demario dogs. ninja: Chody like a melody. Love it. Lord Hinkie: lamon conkey left this last game against the chiefs with a concussion we'll see what the status is for this next week but even if he's playing i don't think i care ninja: Nope. Lord Hinkie: Devontae Adams ruptured his hamstring. Yes, you heard that right. He tore his hamstring. He's going to be out 10 weeks I think he does expect to make a recovery and be able to play either towards the end of the season or for the playoffs in Parentheses for this Rams team who is to also two and four like this full of Eagles team But he's expected to be out 10 weeks We'll talk about a little bit later, but there's a wide receiver there for LA that I like a lot and you should pick up off waivers ninja: almost a my guy can't be though, 'cause I didn't put him out there, but really a ninja guy who's gonna be taking the place of Devontae Adams. But this is big for Devontae Adams owners. Like it's too late to sell now. I think he can play till he's forty, but this is doing no favors. This is a very, very dark situation for the Rams offense. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, Tare McClorn is going to be out for the rest of the year with a knee injury. He tore his patellar tendon. And he will be out the rest of the year for the Washington commander. So get your Stefan Diggs, your Antonia Williams, if I don't already own them. It's tough for scary Terry. ninja: Very tough. Lord Hinkie: Mike Evans left Monday football last week with an Achilles injury. Turns out it's not ruptured, it's just Achilles tendonitis. And I think his status is a little bit iffy for the next week or two. So just keep an eye on Mike Evans if he ends up playing. I think they have any week eight bye. So if he ends up sitting this week, he's gonna be out at least two weeks. So I would get another option if you have to for fantasy. And I would not get ninja: I would absolutely agree. Lord Hinkie: a San Francisco. receiver. ninja: That's exactly what I was gonna say. sit Mike Evans and don't pick up a replacement for him. wait for him to get back healthy. Lord Hinkie: Unless you got Kittle, play Kittle. Buys this week, so we got four buys this week. Buffalo Bills are on a buy, Jacksonville Jaguars are on a buy, LA Chargers are on a buy, and the Commanders are on a buy. So no Bills, no Jaguars, and I hope you don't have anybody from the Chargers or Commanders. Without further ado, you wanna get into this breakdown, Ninj? ninja: Let's get moving. Lord Hinkie: Thursday night football Patriots at the Chicago Bears. This should be a banger of an NFL game really good Thursday night matchup to Just to stud young quarterbacks going at it in Chicago. I expect it to be a banger This for me would probably be my game pick for game of the week But I just I don't love picking it for Thursday nighters, but for me Patriots definitely playing Drake may I think he's back to his old ways I like Hunter Henry in this matchup. feel like Chicago is usually not typically great against tight ends and he's been catching touchdown passes the last couple weeks. AJ Brown, I think I am starting just because he's healthy and you've been waiting to play him and he shouldn't drop six passes like he did last week. Other than that, I'm probably not playing another pass catcher for the Patriots, but I Ninja's not going to agree. ninja: I ha almost have no qualms. This is almost the game of the week. Almost. We'll get into that later. I've no problems starting Shoddy Douglas this week in a flex spot. I think you can get so much worse than him. has seen some connection with Dreckmate, especially over the past two weeks. Demario Douglas has blossomed into what I think he can be. love everything about it. If you have other options, obviously go with them, but in a flex, if you're desperate, love a little shoddy tonight. Lord Hinkie: Chicago But if the Patriots cornerbacks are still depleted like they were the last couple weeks, I'd probably play both of them, Berden and Odunze. But pretty much a long way to say I'd play all of these Chicago. ninja: no qualms. Sit, Manungai, if you have any opportunity to, but other than that, no qualms. Big week for Loveland and Burden. I do agree. This is a Burden week, this is a Loveland week. Love it. Lord Hinkie: Next game here Steelers at the Saints. They're the 930 Europe game because they're gonna be playing in France we we that's for you. Zick The first game of first game in France ever I think I haven't actually checked that but I'm just throwing it out there And I'm really interested to see what kind of mushrooms Aaron Rodgers does over there because I know they're into that freaky stuff They're throwing them on pizzas and crap But first game in France for the Steelers side, I like Warren I'm like worn a lot actually in this matchup. I think Rogers is totally fine as Superflex. And then we got to talk about this wide receiver group. Do we think Jeremy Bernard's legit? Do we think DK Metcalf is a good matchup? He did have 11 catches last week. I don't know. I feel gross picking a Steelers wide receiver, but I feel like you could do a lot worse than Bernard or Metcalf. So I think it definitely depends for me. I don't think I'd be looking to start them, but if you have to, you have to. ninja: That's the perfect statement. I also feel I have a gross taste in my mouth if I have to start either of them. But you might have to this week, so it's okay in a flex spot. But I'm really starting to move off a Metcalf. I don't think he's moving the needle for me. Honestly, I'm almost saying sell Metcalf at a twenty-eight second price. Lord Hinkie: I think I would sell Metcalf too off of a big week. Zig had a note in here that he basically says that Metcalf is the upside play while Bernard is kind of like the high floor PPR go-to guy and I think I kind of agree with that. If I had to pick a player in this matchup, like if I had to pick a Steelers wide receiver I'd probably play Metcalf just for the upside and because I'm not really a Bernard guy but I don't love either one. ninja: No, I j it's a gross. I would stay away if I could. Lord Hinkie: I would also sell Metcalf if you could. think that's a good shout. Saintside. You're playing a lave all of the time. I wrote that in there really weird on purpose. And then after that, I think I'm good. Kendre Miller seems to be the running back of choice there, but Kamara's getting work. The CJ Donaldson kid got a touchdown this week. It's kind of all over the place. I'm passing. If you're playing anybody, are you playing Velle? Are you playing John Johnson after ninja: I'm not. Lord Hinkie: that dud? ninja: I'm not. Lord Hinkie: I don't think I am either. think it's a lobby and I'm good. Shuck... I don't love Shuck in this matchup. ninja: A lava and a bust. That's it. Lord Hinkie: gonna for dramatic effect. Next game here, got the Niners at the Falcons. I think the Niners just continue to roll even though this game is in Atlanta and the Falcons tend to play pretty well in Atlanta. And the Falcons seem like they're coming back down to earth after those first two games with Michael Penick's back. Niners side. You're playing CMC obviously, you're playing Kittle obviously, you're playing Purdy obviously. If Mike Evans is out, I don't think I'm playing any other pass catcher for this team. If Mike Evans ends up playing, I'm probably playing him because he's the only one there, even if he's injured. But I want nothing to do with a Brandon Cooks or Jacob Cowing or Wilkins or whatever the heck that kid's name is. I want nothing to do with it. I think it's just going to be more CMC and more Kittle. ninja: my deep sleeper this week, since we're doing deep sleeper touchdowns, is Brandon Cooks this week. if Mike Evans isn't there, kinda like him, a veterans veteran, if you will. but if it's not CMC or Kittle, I'm really looking anywhere else. At all. Lord Hinkie: yeah mean i don't hate the long touchdown call for the falcon side bichon and i'm not worried about last week i think he gets right back on track i'm playing drake london i still he still get hyper targeted by panics and then cow pits do you want to get your heart broken again do you like getting stabbed in the back play cop it's ninja: No qualms, don't keep hurting yourself, guys, it's fine. Move on. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, but if you're into that stuff, which, you know, two each their own. ninja: That that's unhealthy for you guys. If if you need that, you know, may maybe talk to a therapist or maybe just talk to the ninja. On a weeknight, I'll make time for you. It's okay. And on my busy schedule, I will talk you out of this. In what I'll call a one hour paid session. Lord Hinkie: next match up here we have the Browns at the Titans, ninch. ninja: This is ninja's worst game of the week. This is terrible. I hate it. Lord Hinkie: I'm Gimme a and I'll take it. ninja: Literally no qualms here. Titans lose pole position on Jeremiah Smith. That's a mistake they'll regret. Lord Hinkie: 100 % Next match up here Colts at the Vikings The Colts are bad man. They're really really bad ninja: Dog water. Lord Hinkie: Like the fact that these two teams like in my head the Colts and the Vikings is like kind of a close matchup and the Colts are I think two and four and the Vikings are five and now like What are we talking about here? How were the Vikings undefeated? Well, Brian Flores is the reason the Vikings are undefeated actually. I'll answer my own question. That guy is the GOAT. Coltside, JT, Warren if he's healthy. He was kind of a shocking out last week, but I expect him to be healthy. And then I'm out. And then for the Vikings, you're playing Justin Jefferson because you have to. I think Kyler is pretty good in a super flex league. I actually kind of like him in this matchup. I might even think about playing him in one QB leagues. And Aaron Jones continues just to get work because he's the only running back there. So He's pretty good. I kind of like it cheeky TJ Hawkinson for me this week But other than that, I'm good keep an eye on Jordan Addison if Jordan Addison is out. I really like TJ Hawkinson ninja: the main advice here is just stay away if you can. another really gross game. Brian Flores is somehow keeping the Vikings afloat single-handedly. We all thought Kevin McConnell was a guy. Wrong. It's Brian Flores keeping everything afloat, making everything work. I'm just staying away from this game. Normally I make a lot of wild bets on Sunday morning just trying to pick games. I guarantee you it's not. One comment from the Cortet Vikings this week. Lord Hinkie: I kinda disagree, I think this would be decent fantasy game. I think, I like a couple Vikings in this matchup mostly because the cults sink. But I wouldn't, I'm not excited to play a cult. ninja: This is ninja's worst game of the week. You guys may be thinking, isn't that the second time you said that? Yes. Because these two games sucked so bad. I had to make two. I didn't want to do it. I had to make two. this is so disgusting. I don't e I don't even want to talk about it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, do we have to? The ninja: No. Lord Hinkie: Dolphins suck, they're unwatchable, which he wrote in there but I completely agree. And the Jets are not great either. Fantasy-wise, I like Garrett Wilson, I like Kenyon Sadiq. I think Geno Smith is pretty decent in a Superflex league but that's just cause I'm a Jets guy. if you wanna throw a dart throw out there on Omar Cooper, I wouldn't hate it either. I think this Dolphin team is that bad. and then you're not playing a dolphin. You playing Ollie ninja: Yeah, just Lord Hinkie: Gordon against Jets? ninja: No. If I can help it, no. But you know, buy McGedon Lord Hinkie: i want to ninja: and whatnot, but try and stay away from this game. Massive under game. Holy cow. Lord Hinkie: massive under game. I think the Jets win this game but it's like 17 to 6. ninja: Yeah. Yeah, this is gonna be gross. it's why in the first time in history we have two worst games of the week. It's that bad. Lord Hinkie: Zig asked the question, I've been interested to see your answer, which of the two ninjas worst game of the week are going to be on red zone more often, the Dolphins at the Jets or the Browns at the Titans? ninja: This is an interesting question and believe it or not, the team that will be on red zone most is Dolphins at Jets. That Browns at Titans game is so absolutely Lord Hinkie: So gross. ninja: disgusting. you only play guys cause you have to, and I guarantee you it's the least airtime game ever on red zone. Lord Hinkie: I would love to see the stats on that. There probably is a game out there that's like never on. ninja: Like someone looked that up for me, w w one of my stat guys, but like maybe a minute twenty where they're kicking field goals all day. I want nothing to do with either of these games, but if I had to pick it's the Browns one and it's nasty. Lord Hinkie: Next matchup here we have the Bucs at the Panthers. The Bucs stink but Jaylen Daniels has looked pretty decent quarterback wise, fantasy wise he's not doing great but like eyeball test I like what I see out of Jaylen Daniels and Panthers just I mean they they whooped us last week you wrote in in here as a mercy kill and I think that's the perfect way to describe how the Panthers Eagles went last week I think the Panthers keep rolling. I they definitely win by a touchdown. Bucks side of things. Bucky Irving and I'm out I think. Even fantasy wise I don't think I'm playing Jaylen Daniels and these wide receivers continue to disappoint me. If Baker Mayfield ends up playing, which I don't think he's going to, then I'd maybe think about playing Egbuka, but even then I'm kind of hesitant to play a Bucks. ninja: Yeah, and this is the hottest ever hot seat for a head coach in history. Todd Bowles, this is it this is it. I understand you lost Baker. It doesn't matter. You lose in disgusting ways. And it can't happen much longer. Todd Bowles hot seat is as hot as the sun. but one note I did have in here was Panthers minus six and a half, so give me the touchdown. love everything about it. Roll out all your Panthers this week. No problems with the Bucks. Bucky and Daniels for me are okay. You don't like Daniels. Understand if you have better start obviously. But the Panthers, roll out the red carpet, baby. Love everything about it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, completely agree. Panthers right now are actually only three and a half point favorites. I would smash that right now. ninja: Bet that. Lord Hinkie: Next match up here, Bengals at the Ravens. Love, love, love this game. Points, points, points, points, points, points. Bengals off of a bye. Everyone got healthy. Everyone got freshened up. Ravens did lose last week against the Browns, but I think Lamar is expected to be back I think you said a peripherally names. I'm starting everyone in both these sides ninja: Yeah, I I can't see another picture where the over of this game doesn't hit. I don't know what the over is, probably fifty-two and a half. Lord Hinkie: 50 and a half. ninja: Ooh. Hit that over, baby. Love it. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I can see this game ending 35, 33. I want all of above. Next match up here, Giants at the Texans. The Texans really feel like they're hitting their stride right now. Big win last week in London against the Jags. Stroud looks awesome. And I think it might be J.J. McCarthy season there in New York. So keep an eye on that, obviously. For the Giants side, I like neighbors. I like likely. I'm not playing whatever quarterback they start and I'm not playing any running back that they start. So give me a neighbor as unlikely and then I'm out for the Texans. Nico as always running back wise I'm Monty seems like he's coming back this week. Even if he does I'm out and you're starting Stroud. I like Stroud a lot and I think I'm still waiting to see on Marv. Jalen Noel dude continues to put numbers up. ninja: Yeah, I put that in here, man. Jalen Noel, sneaky, leads the team in receiving yards. So that's a you know, for your DFS guys trying to put out lineups every week. That's a decent shout this week because the Giants don't have a great secondary. but Nico to the moon, Nico and Bust. that's that's been the ninjas plan all year. If Nico eats, we all eat. If he starves, we starve. It's fine. We live and die by Nico. Love everything about it. Lord Hinkie: The over under in this game is only 43 and a half. ninja: Hit the over. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I like a lot of overs this week. Broncos at the Cardinals. Man, I have it in here and then I'm sorry, Zig. But Bo Nix right now looks like reminds me of Brock Osweiler. And I know you Broncos fans just cringed a little bit and got a little twinge in the back of your neck and you just had a thousand island stare staring out and like watching Brock. Osweiler play football, but that's what Bo Nix is reminding me of right now. The cards continue to impress. I really like that Mike LaFleur kid, head coach for the Cardinals. They had a big win last week against the Rams. They continue to just do what they have to do to like get close and try and win football games. I like what I see from them a lot. ninja: Yeah, no qualms here. fun fact that I put in here, Bo Nix's average depth of target is thirty-third among qualified quarterbacks. That's a crazy number he's throwing behind the line of scrimmage. it's a reason I don't trust these wide receivers, but if you were to trust a wide receiver this week, I understand. It's just tough for me. I can't do it. I'm probably looking elsewhere. This is gonna be a gross game. Give me the under. Lord Hinkie: Don't hate that. like the Cardinals to win this game outright in Arizona. I just think if they get up to a lead and they force the Broncos, they have to throw the ball. I don't think the Broncos can come back. Fantasy wise for the Broncos, I'm playing waddle because I have to. And this is like, this is the last chance for Bo' next, because this Cardinal secondary is supposed to be really bad. But if you can't produce against them, I don't know what else. ninja: This was almost ninja's worst game of the week, by the way. This almost made a third selection the worst game of the week. Lord Hinkie: So yeah, I think I'm waddling them out. I don't really want to pick a running back for the Broncos, but if I have to, guess Dobbins, if you expect them to be winning this game, but even then, I don't know. And then Cardinals side, I think McBride's really good, always. Michael Wilson would be my wide receiver of choice. I wouldn't really want to start anybody else, to be honest. Keep an eye on the backfield. If love ends up being out, I think. Tyler Alger is okay, but Bam Knight even got a lot of work last week, so maybe I would fade that. actually, yeah, I would fade the entire Cardinals backfield. ninja: no qualms, I would fade this entire game. This is really gross. Almost made ninja's third, not game of the week. this is gross. Just stay away. Save your money, folks. Lord Hinkie: Sorry, I was reading what Zig put in our notes and to be honest, I'm not reading that out loud in the podcast. I'm not going to put the ninja: Heck no, don't do it. Lord Hinkie: fans through all that. Next match up here, Packers at the Lions. I love this game, fantasy wise. The Packers looked really good against Dallas on Sunday Night Football and these Lions are fresh off of by and they're at home. Hammer the over. It's at 52 and a half right now and it should be that high. It should be higher. Packers side. Waaaa What? Give me some Matthew Golden as always. Tucker Kraft I think is really good in this matchup. I love me some love. And then the running back situation. I guess we could talk about this a little bit. The news reports are that Josh Jacobs is getting re-enlisted or he's gonna be back on the Packers this week. I don't know what his workload is expected to be. I don't know if the Packers expect to start him. I haven't heard any news of the such. But yeah, I think the big question is, if Josh Jacobs is playing, are we playing him? ninja: The answer is no, not for week one. Can't do it. is he up to snuff? Has he been able to practice this entire time? I don't know. but for the Packers sake, they need a running back. So I hope it's Josh Jacobs. I don't know. It's kinda rough to see, but gimme points, gimme everybody in this game. let's just enjoy a nice four o'clock window. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, this would make it very happy. this will make me very happy actually. The Lions side. Definitely playing Gibbs, definitely playing Sun God, don't even have to ask. I really like this as a same Laporta game. I think he has a big game. I like Jared Goff, even in one QB leagues. I love this matchup. J Mo in a flex spot. You could do way worse than that kid. yeah, I think I'm starting them all. I love Laporta. ninja: Start all. That's what I said in my report. Love everything about it. Lord Hinkie: Next matchup here we have the Rams at the Raiders. I expect the Raiders to keep this one close again. I know the Rams have been disappointing and the and the Raiders have been overproducing, so maybe you know, somewhere in the middle is the right answer, but I don't see why the Raiders at home can't keep this game close. and they're losing in a really good way. Like the Raiders are losing close games against good teams. But they're playing well, they're showing promise, and they're still losing. So that way they don't have like, you know, a really good draft pick. Because, you know, at the end of the day, they're looking forward to the future. But I I like what the Raiders are doing a lot. I really like that head coach there, Kubiak. they got some they got bright futures ahead of them. go ahead. ninja: Yeah, and they still have yet to un unleash Fernando Mendoza. So if he's better than Kirko Change, then man, the Raiders have a lot to look forward to. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, they got a lot of promise. and speaking of a team with not a lot of promise, this Rams team has just been the sh most shocking two and four team I think I've seen in a very long time. And I I gotta ask you this, who's in a worse situation right now? Is it the Rams or is it the Eagles? ninja: So before this week happened, I would have told you the Rams, 'cause they don't have picks, they don't draft particularly well outside of the first round. But with Jalen Hurts going down with the blood clap, man, it's I think it's the Eagles, and I think it's by far. The Rams have two studs on the defensive line who are old, aging. I get it, but like they're still studs. The Eagles kinda like they're almost in purgatory right now. With no QB, I expect the Eagles to have a top eight pick in the NFL draft and it's not good to see. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. yeah, I guess you would assume the Rams can eventually turn it around, but this Eagles team is this season is a wash. So at least the Rams have a little bit of you know, maybe we can turn it around and get in the playoffs kind of thing. But I think what for me is sad is that the Eagles are the most injured team in the NFL and they're almost like not trying to win because their teams are just like the product we're putting out there is so bad. But the Rams have the same record as us and they're actively trying to be the best that they can possibly be. So I think both organizations are in a really bad spot right now. ninja: Yeah, how he's trying to accumulate picks. So like he understands what's happening right now. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: Is he in the best light right now? No, but he did his best to try and get some twenty eight picks, some twenty seven picks. We're gonna get some what's it called? like secondary thirds. What what is that called? compensatory picks? Yeah, there we go. Lord Hinkie: Compensatory picks, secondary thirds. I got ya. ninja: you know, a bad owner here, but I think how he sh like knows he's on the brink. Not that his job's at stake, but like it's it's not happening this year, so he's trying to build up to something. The Rams are literally all in this year. So I would say that the Rams have a worse future 'cause I wasn't a t whoever their first round quarterback draft pick was. I I forget his name. I almost said Stetson Bennett and I like, That's not it. Lord Hinkie: Brow back the other the other crappy quarterback. Man. Ty Simpson, Jesus. We do a football podcast, man. We gotta lock in. ninja: Ty Simpson, wow, that was rough. But the Rams, like, they're in a dangerous spot right now, 'cause if it doesn't happen this year, I doubt Aaron Donald comes back. Miles Garrett maybe comes back for another year, and it's can you figure it out with Matt Stafford aging a year? Puka hasn't been able to h stay healthy. Devontae Adams finally showed his age and has an injury. I just don't know. but I do like Canada Mumfield a lot, talking about Rams. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: Love Canada Mumfield, have him in a bunch of spots. a low key Canada Mumfield guy, myself, not a my guy. I won't take credit on him, but I've always been high on the guy out of Pittsburgh. One of our own. Pennsylvania Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: zone. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. I do like me some Canada Mumfield. I would be spending a lot of fab on him. there's not usually a lot of positions you're in in dynasty leagues to spend your fab on like actual good players or at least players with like potential when who are young. But if Canada Mumfield is on your dynasty waivers I would spend a good amount I would spend twenty to thirty dollars in Fab on him in most leagues, depending on what your situation is, obviously, but I like him a lot. and I got no qualms with what you said. Raider side of things. Br BOW ninja: Love it. Lord Hinkie: Is a must start every week. Genty is good. I like me some Trey Tucker. I don't know if I love him in this matchup, but I do love me the player Tucker. and I'm po I would po I would probably start Michael Mayer in that. Do you see that little hesitation there? I feel like I gotta stutter. but Michael Mayer is a start for me this week. do we have to start having conversation with Ash and Genty? ninja: I don't think yet. Soon. Soon we'll have this conversation, but as of now, no. I think he's still a start. Lord Hinkie: Yes. ninja: but I am worried. Lord Hinkie: there's I'm I'm getting concerned. Ten carries for twenty two yards last week. He did have a touchdown. ninja: I am worried but I think I'm gonna let it ride a week or two more. Lord Hinkie: I respect that. But for Raiders, give me Brock, give me Genty, and give me Mayer in this matchup. ninja: Love it. No qualms at all. I I'm I'm glad you inflected my notes here in this podcast, whereas you Lord Hinkie: Of course. ninja: doing your best, Bruce Buffer Verbrock Bowers. I love everything about it. Lord Hinkie: I try my best. This is the whole reason I have a microphone. It's just to do Bruce Bruffer impressions. ninja: Ha ha ha. Lord Hinkie: Sunday night football. This is going to be a banger. NFL game. Chiefs at the Seahawks. gonna be a really, really good football game. I don't think it's great for fantasy, but it's gonna be a really good football game. And Ninja. ninja: Yeah guys, I'm not excited about it either. Okay, I'll go into a rant in a little bit, but this is the ninjas game of the week. This should be an awesome game, football wise. And we love football around here, that's where we do the podcast. But there's a big caveat to this game. Lord Hinkie: Big butt. ninja: Love a big butt. If there's If there's so much as within the first minute Patrick Mahomes glaze, Patrick Mahomes slant not slander, what's the what's the opposite of slander? Just just the Lord Hinkie: The very opposite of slander, actually. Praise. ninja: highest appeal praise before we even get into the game. Lord Hinkie: Worshipping. ninja: Worshipping is a great word. I swear to all things holy. 'Cause this could be just a great game and I'll have to worry about anything, but I have a bad feeling that the broadcast is gonna ruin it for me. And to all things holy, if Chris Collins were Lord Hinkie: Say his name. ninja: Chris MF Collinsworth. starts on his BS. Where I can't even enjoy a game. And he starts on his praise so early. I'm going to take a red-eye flight to Seattle. I'm going to locate his hotel room. And I am going to take the most vile, the most disgusting, Lord Hinkie: Uh-huh. ninja: the most Taco Bell enraged, the most furious fire inferno dump underneath his pillow. I'm going to mute this game so fast if it gets taken out of hand. Lord Hinkie: On the cold side. ninja: there ain't no cold side. It's all hot. It's a burning up. This is my one chance for the NFL to do something right and call an unbiased game. Because this should be a great game. But if I hear Patrick Mahomes glaze, you know what I'm doing? I'm muting my TV, probably throwing on a hockey game, watching football on DraftKings on my phone, and falling asleep. This has two ways it can go. It could be everything I want it to be, or it could be a Patrick Mahomes Praise Fest and I'm out. But Chris Collinsworth, if you find a doogie underneath your pillowcase, just know the ninja's been looking. The Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: ninja's been out there wandering in the dark this entire pod, 'cause I'm in Seattle right now. How would you know? Lord Hinkie: Yeah, that's why you're that's why you're in the dark, dude. ninja: I'm out here for the people, delivering for the people. Lord Hinkie: No witnesses. Dil you're delivering something. ninja: No, I've been working it up too. It is not gonna be fun. He will have less fun than I will, but I'm not having fun either. This is a necessary evil. Let's move on. Sorry, Zeg. Lord Hinkie: Love you zig. Chiefs side of this game. Kenneth Walker revenge game in Seattle. I like the matchup for him. You're playing him regardless anyway, is all I need to tell ya. Mahomes is good. I like him in even one QB leagues. Kelsey, I think, is okay. Don't love him but don't hate him either. I feel like you kinda have to play him in this matchup. And wide receivers for the Chiefs. For me, if Rasheed Rice is healthy Even then, I think I'm still sitting him if I can. So I I technically don't like any Chiefs wide receiver. ninja: Love to see it. And for me, the reason this is game of the week. Give me a Sam Darnold get right game. G gimme Seattle at home. A good football game, maybe a gross score, who knows? But gimme Seattle outright. That's my take this week. no calls with anything you had to say about the Chiefs. but for the Seahawks, JSN is stud. Lord Hinkie: Dog. Aw darn. ninja: it was in the notes. Get better. Lord Hinkie: We I know. I read it. ninja: I this is a sneaky Shaheed game and I don't like to call my shots that often about touchdown scores. Sneaky Shaheed game this week. Love it. Darnold is good. I think he has a get right game. He looks good. He looks fluid. He looks great. Seattle at home. This is gonna be a banger game as long as the broadcast doesn't ruin it for us. Lord Hinkie: There's there's a there's a joke in there with a sneaky shaheed or s I guess it's a shah sneak maybe? Something like something like that. ninja: Ha. Lord Hinkie: I've been working on it. I've been sitting here thinking about it ever since you said it. I'm like there has to be some kind of funny word in there. But it's a sh it's a sha neak game. ninja: There is a joke, and I'm glad you haven't found it yet. Lord Hinkie: A a sneaky sh I don't know. I agree with you. would this surprise you for me to tell you that the Seahawks are actually field goal favorites in this game at home against the Chiefs? Undefeated Chiefs. ninja: No surprise whatsoever. Lord Hinkie: I agree with it to be honest. I think the Seahawks get a win here at home. ninja: As a betting man though, look at the Chiefs. probably tease that line up. Give me plus seven point five for the Chiefs. just tease it up just a little Lord Hinkie: Yeah. Like Seahawks can't blow him out. ninja: bit, but that's for your real serious betters out there. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, I like the under in this game. I think it's gonna be low scoring. JSN and I'm probably out. I do like Wilson in this matchup. I don't love it against the Kansas City Chiefs defense, but I don't love Sam Darnold more. And I expect them to kinda go towards the run game more with how bad last game went with having Sam Darnold throw fifty passes, so I would love for it to be a Darnold get right game. I just don't know if it's against Spagnola and the Chiefs. ninja: So my thoughts here was it's either gonna be a Shaheed get right game or an AJ Barner kinda step up into the moment kind of game. Lord Hinkie: Fair. ninja: I went with Shaheed, but I could see both of them having really good days. I think JSN's gonna get shut down. I mean, obviously you have to start him. There's no sitting JSN, but I think this complimentary field year is gonna have a really good day. I think Seattle wins at home and it's by seven. Lord Hinkie: Love it. Monday night football. the Cowboys come into Philadelphia to play the birds. Do we have to? ninja: The answer's no. Let's just move on. Let's just move Lord Hinkie: Like I don't want to. Yeah. Like ninja: on. Lord Hinkie: all right, next I'm just kidding. I don't want to. I don't wanna. ninja: Can we leave it there? It's fine. Lord Hinkie: I wouldn't. the Cowboys did not look good in Green Bay. a lot of turnovers for Dak. And the Eagles, whatever you call this I I don't even know what you would call it. Like, do you remember what sport was it? It's almost like if you were to have a G League football team have to put random people together. It's like a UFL team at this point, this offense. It's just it's a it's a a a gambit of r whatevers. ninja: It's U L versus Georgia is what we got going on here. Lord Hinkie: Yeah, it's like and I love Tanner McKee. I'm a Tanner McKee guy. didn't look great against the Panthers. offensive line didn't look too great either. couldn't really get a run game going. Devontae looked good, Goddard looked good. And that's I think that's the only bright spots you could take from the Zagles team to be honest. Saquon I think is trying to play this game. I don't know if the if he's going to or not. And even if he does ninja: I doubt it. It doesn't matter. Lord Hinkie: I don't care, I think. ninja: Yeah. Lord Hinkie: Cowboys, you start all. Besides Ferguson. ninja: No qualms. Lord Hinkie: Alright, let's move on. Jesus, that sucked. ZNG Parlay this week, ladies and gentlemen. we did win last week, so I hope you guys bet it. I think a little ten dollar cheeky bet won you like one fifty or something like that, which was pretty nice. yeah, let me be a podcast ninja: Can we get the applause for ourselves? We didn't do enough credit for ourselves. Lord Hinkie: and do a little ninja: We deserve that. That's hard to Lord Hinkie: Thank you, thank you. ninja: do. Lord Hinkie: It is hard to do getting three touchdown bets all to happen in one week at the same time. And we've done it twice so far this year. I think the numbers look pretty good. but RZNG Parlay this week. Zig's pick. He's going Thursday night. AJ Brown anytime touchdown. hopefully he can catch the ball in the end zone. That's all I gotta say about that. ninja: Man, it was rough last week. I hope he's got Lord Hinkie: Yeah. ninja: something cooking. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. I y you would assume he can turn it around. but we shall see. But it Sig is going with the AJ Brown anytime touchdown. I don't have any odds on that, but I'm sure we can find some. ninja. ninja: Fellas, wait no longer. The king has come home to take his throne. Give me Nico Collins Lord Hinkie: Finally. ninja: It's about time I went home. I was having so much struggle in the streets with who am I gonna bet because my guy isn't available. Guys, it's week seven. I haven't picked my guy yet. What are we doing? My guy this week, he's gonna show up, he's gonna show out, love his matchup, love everything about it. Plus 105, who cares about the odds? I get my guy, you know it's gonna hit. Love everything about it. Lord Hinkie: I can't believe it took us seven weeks to get an a Z Ninja Nico anytime touchdown pick. ninja: I wanna scream his name again. Like I feel like I haven't done it enough. Lord Hinkie: You w let's save it for when he scores next week if we could do it on the podcast again. ninja: yeah, yeah. W we'll save all the thunder in my in my body for when he hits and makes you all, you know, two hundred dollars or whatever. We'll make it happen. Lord Hinkie: I do love that matchup. I do love that matchup against the Giants. I am going with a cheeky little tight end. I'm going Sam Laporta anytime touchdown plus one seventy five. I love the Lions matchup against the Packers. Laporta has been up and down throughout this year, but I I think he catches a touchdown this week. I think a lot of Lions catch touchdowns this week, and I think Laporta's just one of plus one seventy five too. I I like those odds. so odds for AJ Brown are plus one thirty five, Nico's plus one five, and Laporta's plus one seventy five. If you throw all those into a calculator, you get plus twelve twenty five. So a little ten dollar bet will win you about a hundred and twenty bucks. hopefully we can do it again for you guys. You know, I I do like these picks, besides maybe AJ Brown, but we shall see. Ninja, what's your parlay of the week, brother? ninja: Moving on to something you'll actually want to bet, right? Cause we're so good here at Ninja Co. Getting you a formulated evaluation of the best four scores every week. we struck gold here. We tried to go too hard. We tried really light. We tried in the middle. And I think we just found the right recipe this week. It's just right. Starting us off, we got Tet McMillan at plus one thirty. Love his matchup this week. Love everything about it. Jamar Chase plus 105 against the Ravens. Jamar Chase is gonna show up. After a bye, they're gonna get him involved. Love everything about it. Denzel Boston. If you're watching any part of this awful game, look for Denzel Boston, my guy. He'll show up. Love it. and then my deep shot. My deep sleeper this week. Rashid Shaheed plus three. 30. I think he has a monster game. Get get gets a long score, tutty. Even if it's one catch, 80 yards, tutty. Who cares? You got a tutty. Love everything about it. Plus 5,982 odds. $10. Winja 608. We love everything about it. this is about as chalk as I can make it this week with all the buys. I love every matchup. I love every player. This is Perfection. This is the Mona Lisa. I painted it out. Lord Hinkie: I actually really, really like this bet. I like that you kind of switched it up. Like you went with a chase in a tet, he picked the middle ground with Boston and then he threw like kind of like a dart throw with with Shahid. I kind of like the mixed match of players. And I can f ninja: I'm fine tuning the recipe. Lord Hinkie: I can feel n right now the electricity we're gonna have watching the Sunday night football game and just begging for Rashid Shahid for this parlay to hit. I I can feel it now. ninja: I can't wait for the sweat on Sunday night. That's it's just what it's for. Lord Hinkie: Yeah. You're sitting there and you're waiting. Like a punt return, dude, a punt return anytime touchdown, that'd be electric from Shaheed. I love it. I love it. I will definitely be placing that bet on Sunday. but ninja, I think that brings us to the end of the podcast. anything you want to say to the people before we hit outpicfell. ninja: Man, fellas, this has been a wild one. hopefully very soon we are going to get to this 27 class. Everyone's talking about it, but us right now, we will get there. We have to find the time. Because we're here dedicated to getting you the weekly status of the NFL. And then someone said, What about the upcoming class you guys are so high on? We are working on it. We're getting there. 27 mock drafts. Incoming very soon. Me and Gary have to talk about a date about that. Maybe November seventh when we're all together. An Lord Hinkie: Little iPod would. ninja: in-person podcast. What? Love Lord Hinkie: Wood? ninja: everything about it. but this was a great one. sorry if there's any technical difficulty, Zig. but you know, we battle through and we stay Lord Hinkie: Yeah, lo ninja: loyal and we stay winning money for the folks. Lord Hinkie: Yes we do. lovey zig, sorry about having to edit this one, buddy. Hopefully we can throw this one together, but if not, maybe a little two parter, we'll see how it goes. slight tech technical difficulties, but that's not new around here. You guys know this Z N G podcast. We've been through th thick and thin, ups and downs. And we continue just to throw in out whatever you would call this kind of pot I guess it's technically content, but I don't know if it's very high quality. But it's fun for us to do. We enjoy doing it. we appreciate you guys listening. Thank you guys for tuning in. this was a fun one. I enjoyed this a lot. I think we had a lot more energy than we did last week. Sorry about that last one. I know me and Ninja were probably a little a little not hard on ourselves, but you know, we expect more from ourselves from this podcast and thing. 'Cause we've been doing it for a while now. but I th feel like this was a good podcast for us. we appreciate you guys listening as always. Be a friend, tell a friend something nice. It can really go a long way for others. It might seem like a little small thing for you, but it means a lot more to somebody else, especially when they need it. this is the season where a lot of people are kind of getting sick. It's high flu season. people are kind of Down to the dumps, weather's getting cold, getting a little, you know, seasonal depression kind of thing. just check in on your boys, check in on your fellas, see how everyone's doing. while the weather's still nice, get out there, you know, go golfing with the buddies, go out and have a drink, go out to dinner, spend some time with everybody before, you know, everyone kinda gets locked down for the winter. Maybe host a little Friendsgiving, get your boys over, have a little drinks, watch some football, do your guys' thing. but as much as you can get together with the people around ya. they want to hang out with you as much as you want to how hang out with them, just send that text, make that call, and get things together.
