- 0:03Welcome to the nerd polity. Hi, this is Nick Nastasu, story editor
- 0:09on Star Wars, The Clone Wars and Star Wars bad Batch, and you
- 0:14are listening to aggressive negotiations. Hello when welcome to aggressive negotiations coming at you
- 0:27from the jungles of Kashik. And I am just wonder your hosts here Matthew
- 0:32rushing and with me as he is every single week, the Wookie Fur Jedi
- 0:38Master John Mills. Except for the top of my head that it's funny you
- 0:43say the jungles of Kashik, and I can't help but think of a Jungle
- 0:47Love, a very popular song from the nineteen eighties, and I would really
- 0:52like sort of like a Kashik. Although Didcaushik have jungles or did it have
- 0:56forests? You know what? I think it's probably a cross. It's a
- 0:59jung all the forest four ungles. Yeah, George, I got a question
- 1:04for you too, because I was thinking of this when you said, you
- 1:07know, except on your head, do I mean do wookies suffer from you
- 1:11know, alopecia? Now that reminds me of the Venture Brothers where they encountered
- 1:22a sasquatch and to sneak Sasquatch by the government that was looking for Sasquatch.
- 1:26He shaved Sasquatch and it was quite a look. So a hairless Wookie that
- 1:34would be I mean, that would be the ultimate prank, right. You
- 1:37gotta imagine that all the time they spent together, that there was some sort
- 1:41of Star Wars equivalent of nair. And when Chewi went to go in to
- 1:44take a shower, Han was like, Oh, this is gonna be funny.
- 1:47Probably Chewie was can you imagine how cold he'd be? Ports that's terrifying.
- 1:52AT's absolutely terrifying on many many levels. If people wanted to catch up
- 1:57with us, they can do it all over the place. Of course,
- 1:59we're on social media at this Jedi Masters on Twitter. You can also find
- 2:04us online at the nerdparty dot com. We got the entire network there.
- 2:07We're on Instagram at the nerd Party. Make sure you're subscribed. You'll get
- 2:12the show as soon as it drops. And we'd really appreciate one of those,
- 2:15you know, five star reviews over on Apple Podcasts, or you can
- 2:19actually give star ratings on Spotify as well. That would really help us out.
- 2:23And if you would like to send us an email. You can go
- 2:25to the nerdparty dot com slash contact. You can choose a show and choose
- 2:30us and we'll get that email, which would be great. We love getting
- 2:32emails from people, and they actually frequently inspire shows, so true. We're
- 2:38excited though, because we are continuing with our bad Batch commentary rewatch of season
- 2:45one and we are on episode eleven, the Devil's Deal, and this is
- 2:52the deal. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna count us down three two
- 2:55one play and when I say play, you're gonna hit play. It's very
- 3:00complicated, so three two one play, all right? You know what?
- 3:08That was so simple, even though I could do it. So I want
- 3:10to congratulate you, sir. Those instructions were very straightforward, and even a
- 3:15Baldwookie like myself is now enjoying you know. I have to think on the
- 3:20level of apes for you, and so I I was glad that you could
- 3:27do it. I know our listeners very well, are you know, like
- 3:30actual geniuses, so they don't need that, but I knew you did.
- 3:35Let's not run away with it. Maybe genius apes good middle ground. Yeah,
- 3:39yeah, I mean I like to think of myself as a genius ape.
- 3:43So yes, oh all right, remember what I said about starting off
- 3:46with you know, a city establishing shot last time always makes me a little
- 3:51nervous about stuff going on. But I love that we're here and we got
- 3:57you know, we got Tweelex in the mix here. I'm like, oh
- 4:00boy, that's always a good sign. Yeah. Being on Rylath here is
- 4:04phenomenal. And of course we had been here in the Clone Wars many times,
- 4:11and the course on rebels and be here now I think is just so
- 4:15exciting, especially since this gives us the opportunity to be able to set up
- 4:20things that we would see in rebels. I also like the fact that we
- 4:27start off with orn free Tah, because everybody forgets the Senate is in play
- 4:30until a new Hope, until that desk Star goes operational. The Emperor is
- 4:35using the bureaucracy to stay in control. So I like the fact that for
- 4:40this continuity we have Orange free Tah here, and you know, so that
- 4:44it's even beyond having a clone there. This shows that this is a transitional
- 4:49moment for everything, and that the Senator is foolish enough to think that this
- 4:54means he can possibly retain his stature that the senators, the people who had
- 5:00who are in the position of bureaucratic power, they're the ones that had the
- 5:03hardest time accepting that it was a new set of rules now well. And
- 5:08then the fact the fact that Harris's parents are here as well is phenomenal because
- 5:14General Champsunula is the head of the army here on Ryloth, which again great
- 5:19connection to everything that we saw in the Clone Wars. And then continuing that,
- 5:26so I also love the fact that the central structure here that they're speaking
- 5:31from look straight out of a Ralph mcquarie concept painting that you cannot underscore enough
- 5:40how important it is. Those are visual cues that, whether we realize it
- 5:46or not, play so much in us accepting it as this is Star Wars
- 5:50is it's got to have that right look and feel. It's the same,
- 5:55but it's not identical. It doesn't look like nothing change whatsoever over this time.
- 6:00Sprain. It's we can see where it's headed and where we where,
- 6:03Like architecture is telling us where we are at this point in the story.
- 6:09I like that. I like that a lot. I also love here is
- 6:13that we can see that ornfrey Ta has no pull on Riloth anymore, and
- 6:17the people really only respect General Sindula, which creates a very interesting conundrum for
- 6:26this entire episode, as he's the one trying to tell the people, hey,
- 6:31we can trust the Clone army, we can trust what's happening here.
- 6:35That they're the ones who fought for us, and they've earned our respect.
- 6:41We deserve to give them a chance here, and the Empire a chance.
- 6:46And you can see how this is going to play into this character and what
- 6:50it's going to do to him when he realizes obviously that's not the case.
- 6:56And what weight would you feel when you've promised your people it's going to be
- 7:04okay and it turns out to be anything but okay. Well, it also
- 7:10underscores the fact that, uh, you know, the the imperial bureaucracy is
- 7:14smart enough to understand that they have a little bit of, you know,
- 7:18a political play here for this shell game, because unwittingly Champson Dula just said,
- 7:27oh no, look, they fought with us, you can trust them.
- 7:30The Empire is manipulating everything to say they well, let's let them do
- 7:35the natural instinctive thing, which is to say, hey, they're the same
- 7:39people we've always played within. There's Chopper, so uh, you know,
- 7:47I gotta say probably. I mean, he's definitely in the top three a
- 7:53droids, right, oh yeah, oh yeah, if I mean fantastic.
- 7:56It's it's tough to pick a favorite droid sometimes, but you know, seeing
- 8:03seeing a character like this that like, you know, you see a Hara
- 8:07and you're like, yeah, of course I love Harry, see Warren free
- 8:09Taller. Look there's continuity. You see Chopper and you're like, oh goody,
- 8:13the fun guy is here. You know, like it's just a it's
- 8:16a different type of emotional reaction. I also I love being able to see
- 8:20the Tweelex on their home planet and to be able to see the differentiation between
- 8:28them. You know, each of them has different markings on their head tails,
- 8:35and you know the different looks that they have, and I just find
- 8:39it really well done. I Mean, we talk a lot about the artwork
- 8:43here, but in those crowd scenes, we saw the difference between the Tweelex
- 8:48and it just there's such an interesting race and the beauty here. As we
- 8:52get to see that, you know, there's so much more than slave dancers
- 8:58and right we are and I'm actually hoping that this series will kind of help
- 9:05answer some of those questions as to why so many twilets and up in that
- 9:11type of slavery, What happens here on this planet that leads to that happening?
- 9:18You know, do they rise up before the rebellion starts and that's what
- 9:22cause us this crackdown and the you know, the Zigerians come in or something
- 9:26like that. You know, I just I think there's so many great questions
- 9:28that come from seeing these characters here again in this show. Well, you
- 9:35know, I would actually say it's probably even a little more. You know,
- 9:39I don't necessarily want to see the one to one because in my head,
- 9:43I can sit there I'm going to be like, you know, basically,
- 9:46it's representative of the fact that by the time we get to the original
- 9:50trilogy, all beings are simply viewed as commodities. You're just a human resource
- 9:54to be used within the context of empire. You're not an individual, you're
- 9:58not a and you're not a proud race that stood up for independence or anything
- 10:03like that. You are simply a commodity. You're just another thing that is
- 10:07to be traded, and you know, honestly, it's one of the more
- 10:11terrifying things that you see sometimes in modern American society, where people are just
- 10:16human resources. You're you're just a figure to be plugged in to make sure
- 10:22the equation balances. And so you see this history of Ryloth, and then
- 10:28you get to the original trilogy and the only tweetlegs you see are exactly what
- 10:33you said. You know, Ulah is the only tweelet we knew for a
- 10:35very long time, along with Bib Fortuna. And so there's a very very
- 10:41interesting thing. But also I think the history of Ryloth is an important thing
- 10:45to point out. You know, when they threw out the expanded Universe for
- 10:48the first time, in a sense, they didn't throw it out wholesale,
- 10:52but it was, you know, whatever works on screen, we're going to
- 10:56ignore what came before. And I remember there was this really interesting backstory on
- 10:58Rye that was in vision for the West End Games D six version that ry
- 11:05Loth was like Mercury. There was eternal night, there was eternal Day,
- 11:09and you had you know this this you know cast system based on it.
- 11:13But then we get to the Clone Wars and now the Bad Batch and there,
- 11:16there's a much more nuanced sort of approach. The Twilex feel like an
- 11:22actual functional society as opposed to just some sort of cartoony side creature with head
- 11:31tails. I'm sorry for going on and on about it now. No,
- 11:35No, I think the other thing that's so cool about what's happening here is
- 11:39that you see Champson du La he is trying to convince himself that the Empire
- 11:48means good here, and you know his lieutenant is very wary of what's happening.
- 11:54In fact, he's very much wondering what the Empire is actually doing here.
- 12:00And Orne free Ta is saying, yeah, the influence that Champs and
- 12:05Dula has is going to be a problem. And we see two crosshair saying,
- 12:13yeah, you got to worry about his lieutenant. He's the one you
- 12:16need to worry about. Uncle Goby is the one that's going to be the
- 12:22problem here. And so I think what I love is the nuance here.
- 12:26There's so many things where you can just see that cham is like we've been
- 12:31fighting this war for so many years. He just wants it to be over.
- 12:37But see, even that winds up being a very important contrast with somebody
- 12:41like Sauguerrera, who seems only too happy to keep fighting. Yes, yes,
- 12:46Sauguerrera is in a place where he's never going to stop fighting. There's
- 12:50always going to be an enemy to fight, whereas you have other people that
- 12:54say, haven't we fought for long enough? Yeah? And the thing is
- 12:58that is almost one of my or not almost, that is like one of
- 13:01my favorite historical things that when you get to the end of World War Two,
- 13:07there were a ton of people that's let's lay down, our arms were
- 13:09done. Patton was all about, no, no, no, let's press
- 13:13the advantage. We can make this right for you know, from this point
- 13:18forward, and there were a lot of people saying, no, George,
- 13:20look, we fought for so long. We need to really just take a
- 13:24breath here and just stop doing this. And so I think again, it's
- 13:30you know, we talk about this constantly. Star Wars has that echo of
- 13:33reality, and I think it's really interesting. We are very familiar with Star
- 13:39Wars fans with the path that saw Guerrera is going to go on. We've
- 13:41already got rogue one by this point and everything, Whereas now we're seeing that
- 13:46other side of people who are just exhausted. They just want the war to
- 13:50end. The previous episode we were in, it was the same sort of
- 13:52vibe where it's like, Okay, look it's it's over. Can't we can't
- 13:58we just stop fighting? And then the people realizing that every like we're seeing
- 14:03all of these people both sides, we got duped. The fight isn't over
- 14:11because none of us won. It's not that everybody won, it's not the
- 14:16one side one is that nobody won well. And the biggest question that just
- 14:20came up in the conversation between Jams and Doulah and his wife is what if
- 14:30their version of peace doesn't look like ours? And that's the scariest thing here
- 14:37we see that happening is that the Empire's version of peace looks like what they
- 14:43wanted to look like. They're imposed peace. And that's the scary part about
- 14:48this whole thing. And you know, obviously, you know, we see
- 14:52that champs Umduah's wife Goby, they know that the Empire can't be trusted.
- 15:00Already, cham is just wishing to all that is holy on Ryloth that he
- 15:07can trust them, because yes, he doesn't want Ryloth to suffer the same
- 15:13way that it's been suffering under the war of the Clone Wars and again I
- 15:20sin it's I sing the praises all the time. But the lighting this is
- 15:24starship cockpit lighting. There's you know, the way that the camera moves,
- 15:30but the shot of them landing with the planets in the background, this is
- 15:35one of the most alien skies we've ever gotten in Star Wars. And it's
- 15:41beautiful. It's and we don't even blink at it because the way that everything
- 15:46is arranged and aligned. Again, it's it's so weird to sit there and
- 15:52say, like, oh, looks like Star Wars, but that is what
- 15:56it is. Is it looks like Star Wars. And then we have our
- 16:00tie in with the batch with the Marauder coming. Like once we see this
- 16:03ship arrive, you know almost it's almost like this acts like one of those
- 16:08nineteen eighties backdoor pilots where you have the main shows people show up to give
- 16:15legitimacy to the new people that you're meeting. And even though it's not that
- 16:21this is the bad Batch, obviously we're taking the time to give a Hara
- 16:27origin story, but it's important for us to have this scene. We have
- 16:32crosshair up to this point. But to have the rest of the Batch there
- 16:36is a really important legitimizing is too strong a word, you know what I'm
- 16:41saying. No, I know, it gives it that weight where it's like,
- 16:42okay, this is where we're tied in well, And I think the
- 16:45beauty of this is what it's doing, is that it is using the Bad
- 16:51Batch to be able to help us understand the storyline outside of their perspective a
- 16:56little bit with a perspect active to which we are already interested in, because
- 17:02this is Harah and her people and her parents and her origin story basically as
- 17:07to how she gets into this fight. But it also allows us then to
- 17:12realize that as we move forward with the seasons of the Bad Batch, that
- 17:18those characters could actually join up later on, right as they begin to help
- 17:26build a very small rebellion, which is such an exciting thing because a lot
- 17:32of these characters would intersect because they might have similar desires to see the galaxy
- 17:40free of the Empire. And I love the fact that there's this sense Omega
- 17:48finding her place as an official member of the team, giving her permission to
- 17:52come aboard and warning her you know, I'll be watching you. But then
- 17:56we have this very interesting discussion between the two of them, because again this
- 18:00whole show, Omega is discovering the bigger world, and Harra becomes the one
- 18:06to tell her, you know, because Omega says, here, you know,
- 18:08oh hey, they won't let me fly until I can recite everything,
- 18:11and harr is saying, it's about more than the rules. It's about it's
- 18:15about the feeling. And they're they're going along, you know, but when
- 18:19we're not getting chased or shot at, it's by room like you even think
- 18:26about. Even though they're trying to give Omega some sort of semblance of normalcy,
- 18:32they are not in any normal situation. No matter what, Omega is
- 18:36never going to know what it's like to have a quote unquote normal family where
- 18:40you have a house that you come back to after school every day. She's
- 18:45on the road, on the run with a band of outlaws like it's and
- 18:49but that idea of what is right and what is normal is all so relative,
- 18:56And that speaks again to what Star Wars is always reinforced that family is
- 19:00at the core. But what does family look like? It's different for everybody.
- 19:07Well, and I think the cool thing here is in what we kind
- 19:11of see about the bad Batch. In many ways, is they mimic some
- 19:17of the beauties of some of the great Westerns, Right, they're in many
- 19:21ways like the Magnificent Seven. You know, um, they're the characters should
- 19:26kind of come in and you know again, you're right, I know what
- 19:30you're gonna say. It's this shot these shots of also but also the ship.
- 19:36What I love about it is it's evocative of uh, slave one all
- 19:42right, pardon Boba fet starship. Yes, um, sorry, yeah,
- 19:48I remember what it was called though so many years ago. But you look
- 19:51at it and it's very evocative of it. It really does call it to
- 19:56mind without being an exact duplicate. It's like, oh again, it's that
- 20:02idea of we're in a mass production society, galactic one. Of course,
- 20:07there's going to be a constancy to the modularity of things and parts and pieces
- 20:12that are put together. I think too, this is you know, such
- 20:18an interesting thing is that as the Empire moves into these planets, it's always
- 20:23cognizant of the fact that there is there's probably going to be a separatist element.
- 20:30And what I mean is not separatists as we knew them in the clone
- 20:33wars about people who are not fans of the Empire, and therefore they are
- 20:38looking to root them out almost immediately, and that's what we're seeing here on
- 20:44Ryloth. They have been there, most likely doing the research reconnaissance to figure
- 20:52out who these people are. And what they've figured out very quickly is that
- 20:56it is Gobie, who is the lieutenant to General Dula, who is the
- 21:00leader of the resistance on this planet, and they're working to take them out
- 21:08immediately, and by implicating Harah here, they can discredit Sendula and truly bring
- 21:17this planet under their rule. Although Rampart is like Tarkan, like Crenick,
- 21:25like other characters we've seen, he's politically wise or in free Tah who has
- 21:30his own beef with Sindula. Hey, Harris proof she's terrible, she's evil.
- 21:34We can go after him and Ramparts like. It's a little trickier than
- 21:37you think. That's yeah, we got to be careful with our play here.
- 21:42And that really really is one of those things where you look at something
- 21:49like this and we've had this discussion before. Palpatine's trying to create a sense
- 21:55of evil and imbalance and terror, and it speaks to the fact that he
- 22:02didn't really need to. That's what's so interesting is he could have let people
- 22:07think they won and instead worked behind the shadows. In a sense, everything
- 22:12that's happening is because Palpatine simply wants it to, and the bureaucracy that existed
- 22:18in the Republic simply wants it to. They just shut up, slave,
- 22:22We just want you to be our human resource and go through with everything,
- 22:27as opposed to what they could have done, which is the war's over,
- 22:33okay, everybody, and then quietly just eat away at their at their their
- 22:37rights and their freedoms. But at the same time, who's paying attention to
- 22:41Ryloth, who knows what's going on here? Right? Well? And I
- 22:48think you know the scary thing is for these people, you know, Sendula
- 22:53talks about the idea that we can trust the clones. We fought side by
- 22:57signed by them, we've earned their trust. And yet what they don't realize
- 23:03is they can't trust the clones. The clones are under the control of the
- 23:08Emperor fully with Order sixty six, and so because of that, there isn't
- 23:18a chance for these planets. Hey look, blurgs, but it's it is
- 23:25even beyond that, even without Order sixty six. Order sixty six is specifically
- 23:30related to the Jedi. The clones are bred to be loyal. It's simply
- 23:37and again I've talked about this M. Scott Peck. He wrote a book
- 23:41called People of the Lie and he was it was a really interesting thing.
- 23:45It made me think a lot because he was talking about it in terms of
- 23:48a volunteer army instead of a draft army, where he said, an army
- 23:55that's dedicated simply to the country and the cause is not devoted to the people
- 24:02per se. And so that's the misstep is the clones are devoted to the
- 24:06concept of maintaining order. They don't care who's in charge or what needs to
- 24:12be done to maintain order, because their entire goal is simply to, to
- 24:18your point, make peace. And if it means you have to be harsh
- 24:22with people to keep peace cool, it means you don't means necessary. Absolutely,
- 24:30there you go, there you go. I think you have you have
- 24:34uh you know, did the blurbs and that the idea of how uh you
- 24:41know, people who are trained to be um you know, um guerrilla fighters
- 24:48are simply going to be effective against any force that comes in well, and
- 24:52and what's what's so fascinating about this too, and and and the beauty of
- 24:57what George did is, you know, what we're playing upon is this idea,
- 25:03is that these smaller forces can take on the military might that everybody thinks
- 25:08is unstoppable, you know, from the American Revolution to his thoughts about you
- 25:14know, what happened in Vietnam to beyond that. Right, that's what we're
- 25:18playing on, as that these revolutions can be successful because normal people stand up
- 25:29and say no. And that's the beauty of this episode, right, is
- 25:33that we are seeing those normal people on Ryloth say no. And you know,
- 25:41it's interesting obviously to watch Harrah kind of get involved with this so early
- 25:45in her life. And you know, in many ways she's much like Cassie
- 25:49and andor who when he says, I've been in this fight since I was
- 25:53six years old, Harrah's what like maybe ten here, you know, So
- 26:00she's been in this fight. She's seen it from the Clone Wars onward her
- 26:04whole life, like that's all she's known. And the very thing that Champson
- 26:11Dula has been trying to keep from happening, which is that she would live
- 26:15a life that he lived, which is a life of war, is going
- 26:19to happen. And that that moment, that moment where he leve levels the
- 26:30blaster and he doesn't really you know, I love these these moments. This
- 26:37is this is classic Star Wars. The people trying to talk the person out
- 26:41of making the evil choice, and the way to appeal to a father is
- 26:48don't make this evil choice in front of your kid. Are you doing something
- 26:52your child would not be what would not be proud of? And then Crosshair
- 26:56takes the shot because it's more politically valuable to frame those who don't support the
- 27:04Empire and at the same time get rid of orn Free Tah, who does
- 27:11have some political clout because he's been around for years and he's representative of the
- 27:15Old Republic. Yeah, well get rid of him. Like this is a
- 27:19win win win across the board for the Empire. It's like Michael Scott wrote
- 27:25this episode. But Rampart it's a smart guy. Man, He's a smart
- 27:30guy. As much as he looks like a Disney character, well whoa hey,
- 27:34he's a Disney villain, right, he looks he looks the most like
- 27:38a Disney character of any of the animated characters we've seen, and he's the
- 27:41villain and he's smart about how to take you know, it's making me uncomfortable?
- 27:48Is the mouse House rampart? I don't know. I'm not saying obviously,
- 27:52I'm joking obviously, what I what I love is that you know too,
- 27:57we leave this episode with a very precarious situation for HERA and I think
- 28:03the beauty of the episode is that, you know, we're setting up her
- 28:10in her origin story, which is really so fun to be able to do
- 28:14here. But at the same time, her origin story is going to be
- 28:18tied to the fact that the bad Batch are going to be the ones who
- 28:22are going to come in and help Yo, and they're going to be the
- 28:26ones who help kind of cement her feelings on this whole thing, which it's
- 28:33that thing that this season is doing. It's the thing that season two is
- 28:37doing, which is slowly moving these characters into the position where they have to
- 28:42make that choice, how are we going to live the rest of our lives?
- 28:48And what are we going to do with the time that we've been given?
- 28:52And what you're hitting on right there is exactly what Star Wars is supposed
- 28:56to be about, which is disciplined storytelling, And this is disciplined storytelling.
- 29:04This does not resolve Harri's arc all in one episode. This does not resolve
- 29:10everything about anyone all in one episode. This is a piece of the story.
- 29:15This is patient. This is a team saying we don't have to tell
- 29:21it all in twenty two minutes. We can do a piece at a time
- 29:26and give just enough that the audience cares so that they come back next week.
- 29:30It's classic serial thinking, which is exactly what Star Wars and even Indiana
- 29:36Jones are based on. Is get the audience involved and cut it at a
- 29:42point where they say, I gotta learn more, right, I gotta know
- 29:48more about this. And I think the beauty of it too is that the
- 29:56bad Batch in many ways is helping time so many parts of Star Wars together,
- 30:04which I think is important and tells us so much about Star Wars storytelling
- 30:10and what makes it it's best, which is when it it allows Star Wars
- 30:21to reflect the whole and it builds a piece of that. And I love
- 30:27that this show is so much a part of that, and it's one of
- 30:33the things I've loved about or rewatch, and it's It's one of the things
- 30:36I'm really enjoying, of course about watching season two and can't wait to get
- 30:40further into that. But yeah, this is you know, rewatching. This
- 30:45has been so much fun so far, it has, and it's gonna get
- 30:49more fun as we get as we continue to head towards the end of the
- 30:55season. But if people want to have fun with you online, where can
- 31:00they find you, Master Rushing, Well, the best places to do that
- 31:03are on Twitter, Instagram, Letterbox of Arrow under the name Matt Rushing zero
- 31:08two. I'm also here on the network with a completed show called owl Post
- 31:14with Dre Kaufman. We talked about every single chapter of the Harry Potter series,
- 31:17one chapter at a time. Over on the TFM network, I am
- 31:21doing a few shows. One is called The six or two Club. It's
- 31:23a show that we cover all of the phantoms we love, not just one.
- 31:29John is a frequent guest over there. There's some great bonus shows that
- 31:32we do as well. In that same feed, assembling Avengers as well as
- 31:37Snyder Cuts, you can also find me doing literary treks about the books and
- 31:41the comics of Star Trek, the orb about Star Trek, Deep says nine,
- 31:45We're five about Star Trek Enterprise, Saddle Up about strange New worlds,
- 31:49and Artificial Tango is a right around the corner again as Star Trek card season
- 31:56three is about the hit, so you want to check that out. But
- 31:59John, you know, if people wanted to say, hey, what's going
- 32:01on with John, where would they find you? Nobody wants to know that.
- 32:06Matt. However, if they wanted to find me, I am,
- 32:07of course kessel junkie out there on the social networks. And if anybody wants
- 32:14to prove that they listened this far into the episode, simply tweet the word
- 32:20clone at me and Matt and let us know that you were listening. And
- 32:24of course you can hear me on the network on a show called house Lights,
- 32:29where we look at the work of directors from all sorts of crazy combinations
- 32:32that sometimes don't even have to do with anything having to do with the directors.
- 32:37But it's fun. It's a lot of fun, and so that's right.
- 32:39Tune into Houselights. You can hear me there too. And like Matt
- 32:44mentioned on six or two Club, I show up every so often, and
- 32:49I'm also on Snyder Cuts and Assembling Avengers. So with all of that said,
- 32:52Master Rushing, I think it is incumbent upon us to prepare for the
- 32:58next episode and get to know the terrain of Ryloth because something's a bruin.
- 33:02After this episode, I think it's time to close these negotiations. John,
- 33:08negotiations are closed. Join the Revolution, Join the Nerd Party.
