Latest / Journey to the Fringe / RIP David Wilcock

- 0:00I'm going to start right up top with a trigger
- 0:02warning on this. There is discussion of suicide
- 0:05in this mini. On Monday, April 20th, David Wilcock
- 0:09took his own life. I'm not going to go over the
- 0:12details of exactly what happened with it in this
- 0:15mini. They're out there to find if you so choose,
- 0:18and I don't think we're focusing on the how or
- 0:21why. Well, the how. I don't think we're going
- 0:23to even include any of the links to that stuff.
- 0:25If you want to find it, it's readily available
- 0:27out there. information is out there. This may
- 0:30be the most breaking thing Journey to the French
- 0:33has ever and probably will cover, rightfully
- 0:35so. As of recording, this happened less than
- 0:38a week ago. We've never covered anything like
- 0:41this. In fact, we record on Sundays and this
- 0:44is the first Sunday we are unable to listen to
- 0:46a David Wilcock live. Yeah, that makes me really
- 0:49sad. Wilcock was somehow a big part of our lives.
- 0:53Some may even say, I don't even know if it's
- 0:55speculation, he inspired the very concept of
- 0:58podcast. The some who may say that are us who
- 1:02say he's the whole reason we wanted to start
- 1:04a podcast. Yes, we have a five -part episode
- 1:07covering him. He even came up on our most recent
- 1:11mini that came out right after this all happened.
- 1:14He comes up constantly. Sometimes it's related
- 1:17to what we're talking about and sometimes we
- 1:19just love a random Wilcock reference. You may
- 1:22not even know that it's a Wilcock reference,
- 1:24but we certainly know it. We may even be in what
- 1:27is an optimal position to comment on this and
- 1:31this is a mini after all so I do have some articles
- 1:34for you. With this news the conspiracy community
- 1:37is doing its thing and it is ablaze with unhinged
- 1:41speculation. One of the articles I have is from
- 1:45Times Now quote are David Wilcock, Nick Pope
- 1:48and Eric von Daniken's death connected? Three
- 1:51UFO figures dead in months. That was published
- 1:55four days ago. Just a couple quotes that I pulled
- 1:57from there is just people pulling what people
- 2:00are saying online so it says one user wrote quote
- 2:03first it was Eric Von Danigan who died in January
- 2:06then Nick Pope earlier this month and now the
- 2:09news about David Wilcock all in the first half
- 2:11of 2026 if this news is true it really is awful
- 2:15and certainly suspicious and quote another posted
- 2:19quote so we're losing people in the ufology circles
- 2:22to three in one week Nick Pope just passed to
- 2:26What is happening?" End quote. Just for your
- 2:28reference, we haven't even talked about these
- 2:30deaths. Nick Pope died of stage four esophageal
- 2:34cancer that had metastasized to his liver. Which
- 2:38he had made statements about months in advance.
- 2:41Yeah. I believe it came out before Christmas
- 2:43that he had uncurable esophageal cancer. And
- 2:47it sounds just fucking awful. His wife actually
- 2:50said something that it's like a relief. So rest
- 2:53in peace, Nick Pope. Eric Von Daniken. for your
- 2:55information was fucking old as shit I think he
- 2:59was 93 yeah and he died optimally of old age
- 3:03that's the way you want to do it so there's no
- 3:06way that these are related and it's not the least
- 3:09bit suspicious get your shit together whoever's
- 3:12saying this but the main speculation we seem
- 3:16to be seeing Taylor and I have been speaking
- 3:18about this frequently, is the link to the missing
- 3:22and dead scientist that, yes, he did talk about
- 3:26on his last life. He had just mentioned that
- 3:28Donald Trump had said that he wanted to go after
- 3:32the missing and dead scientist. I think it was
- 3:33two sentences at most that he focused on it.
- 3:37So people are speculating that because of Stavadi
- 3:41that he is a scientist. He is in no way a scientist.
- 3:44It's a mini. There's an article. This one, you're
- 3:47going to like this one. I sent Lista Taylor already.
- 3:51Bollywoodshaddis .com and the o in the com is
- 3:54a heart for some reason. India's covering it.
- 3:57I think this is India. It's in English though.
- 3:59This one's titled People Are Disappearing. David
- 4:02Wilcox said he was grateful to be alive post
- 4:05UFO theorists deaths. Just two days before his
- 4:09reported death, paranormal writer and UFO expert
- 4:12David Wilcox had opened up about how grateful
- 4:14he is to be alive amid the mysterious deaths
- 4:17of his authors. I'm not gonna read that even
- 4:20though that title was weird. Everyone is tying
- 4:23it to the missing scientist saying that he would
- 4:26have never done this. They're saying somebody
- 4:29Havana syndrome him and caused him to do it to
- 4:33himself. It's the only thing I'm seeing essentially.
- 4:36Taylor and I obviously have a very unique viewpoint
- 4:39on this one and honestly I have a lot of complicated
- 4:42feelings looking back on this because we were
- 4:46witness to the decline of someone that ended
- 4:49very tragically. And I think it's safe to say
- 4:51for both of us, when we both heard the news,
- 4:54I don't think either of us had any point in our
- 4:57mind where we said he would never do that. No.
- 5:00It's complicated. There were very clear signs
- 5:02he was not in a good mental state. No, but at
- 5:06the time I wasn't like... I think he's a risk,
- 5:10oddly enough. I would have never thought that
- 5:13he would do something like that. But looking
- 5:15back on it, we were both in agreeance, like,
- 5:18yeah. So we watched his Sunday lives. It was
- 5:22pretty much a part of the routine. And I'm pretty
- 5:24sure our family resented us for it. Yes. If there
- 5:29are divorces in our future, this will be cited
- 5:32in it. It will be because of David Wilcock. Every
- 5:34time we're together, we throw in a David Wilcock
- 5:36live. We watched it pretty much every Sunday
- 5:39and we would always text about it. And we were
- 5:41both there and caught the last live. It was the
- 5:45day before this happened. We both commented and
- 5:48how upbeat and erratic he was. And he kept. I
- 5:52think there was two distinct, well, I guess three
- 5:55distinct emotional phases you could see him in.
- 5:58Yes. One is he is financially not well and he's
- 6:03trying way too hard and he is emotionally erratic.
- 6:06Then the next one is I've come into some money
- 6:09so I don't have to worry as much and he's not
- 6:12as exciting to watch, he's pretty boring. That's
- 6:14my next note. And then he went back into this
- 6:17phase in his last show and only his last show.
- 6:20The one immediately preceding this one was not
- 6:22that way. Yeah and they totally did used to be
- 6:25erratic and I feel bad saying it because obviously
- 6:27what happened and like I said before in retrospect
- 6:31the signs were there but I I didn't see them
- 6:33at the time, sadly. Not that I probably could
- 6:37have done anything, but they were always erratic
- 6:40and there's something charming about the guy.
- 6:43I don't know if I would call it charming, but
- 6:45I needed to watch it. like oh yeah no you wanted
- 6:48to know where the train wreck was going yeah
- 6:51that was what the whole thing always was i never
- 6:53thought the train wreck would be here otherwise
- 6:55i don't know that i could have brought myself
- 6:57to watch it and then they had gotten very boring
- 7:00so i'd only watched the first five minutes of
- 7:02a live i still went and then we both made comments
- 7:06on that sunday i even went back to the text messages
- 7:08to double check on it and it said what's going
- 7:11on with him today he commented about how he had
- 7:14a really bad week and wanted to cancelled that
- 7:17last live. He even put out a tweet saying that
- 7:20it was cancelled. And he thanked all of the admins,
- 7:23but he showed up. I didn't know that until after.
- 7:26And then he almost strictly played the hits,
- 7:28which unfortunately for David Wilcock is Angry
- 7:32Daddy and Tran Ma. Yep, that's the hit. And he
- 7:35was slipping into Bad Daddy like it was going
- 7:37out of style. The title was Pathway to Peace
- 7:40with Trump Jesus no less, but I think relevant
- 7:43that he chose that. He was commenting about how
- 7:46he was only eating salad. He looked super skinny.
- 7:50It's actually the first time I heard him talk
- 7:53about how skinny he was. People kept commenting
- 7:55on it before, but he would never actually go
- 7:58into it. He actually commented on that one and
- 8:01that he was pooping pellets, a part of why I
- 8:03also love to tune into a life. Yeah, you know
- 8:06a lot about his bowel movement. There's a slide
- 8:09on it almost every week. Yeah, there was. My
- 8:12favorite was when he was taking the horse. Oh,
- 8:16ivermectin, yeah. Couldn't poop for a long time.
- 8:20That was full of slides. And I think all of the
- 8:23speculation about Wilcock with missing scientists
- 8:26is not only the conspiracy community at work,
- 8:29but people trying to make sense of this. super
- 8:32tough to grasp. We found Wilcock incredibly entertaining.
- 8:36There was just something about the guy that made
- 8:38me want to see more. And I know my world definitely
- 8:41won't be the same without him. We're just commenting.
- 8:44Today was our first day without the live and
- 8:47it sucked. I kept wanting to open up YouTube
- 8:49and see what he was up to. And it's left a really
- 8:52weird hole that I never thought was possible.
- 8:55I can't find another crazy UFO guy because nobody
- 8:58like hit the spot like Wilcock did. And nobody
- 9:00goes live. on Sundays, unfortunately. I don't
- 9:04know if that's like the right time to bring it
- 9:06up, but man. It's sad, like I was shocked and
- 9:09it's super sad. I want to read you guys a part
- 9:13of his family's statement that they put out.
- 9:15I'm not going to read the whole thing, but I
- 9:17am going to read a portion of it that I thought
- 9:19was insightful and nice. Quote, David was widely
- 9:23known as a media personality and lecturer examining
- 9:26issues such as UFOs, UAPs. Not sure why they
- 9:30said both. This might have been put out by Angry
- 9:32Daddy and the paranormal. But this only tells
- 9:35part of the story of a life like that, like any
- 9:38other, unfolded through internal struggles, evolving
- 9:41beliefs, and a quest for meaning. David lived
- 9:44in a time shaped by the internet and he himself
- 9:47shaped a segment of it. This powerful medium
- 9:50of communication magnifies both connection and
- 9:53confusion. Ideas travel quickly, expand logarithmically,
- 9:57and reshape through thought structures. In remembering
- 10:00David is important to hold more than one truth
- 10:03at once, that some of his work raised concerns
- 10:05about misinformation and that he was also a person
- 10:08who was on an eternal quest for clarity. Beyond
- 10:11his public persona, he was a human navigating
- 10:14the same complexities and vulnerabilities that
- 10:17shape all our lives. His passing is a reminder
- 10:20of how important it is to meet one another with
- 10:22open minds and compassion in our hearts. The
- 10:25loss of a life can turn our focus to a shared
- 10:27humanity, whether we agree on life's unanswered
- 10:30questions or not." End quote. It was clear that
- 10:33Sunday episode in retrospect he had made peace
- 10:37with I think a decision that he had made and
- 10:40it says right in the family statement, I don't
- 10:44want to say too much about what happened, but
- 10:46it is for sure a decision that David Wilcock
- 10:49made and it wasn't any conspiracy in it. It's
- 10:53not he faked his own death. I saw that one too.
- 10:55It's not a part of a conspiracy with Havana syndrome
- 10:58or anything. It's pretty clear in retrospect
- 11:01this has happened. He had huge financial problems.
- 11:04His involvement in the community, after everything
- 11:07that happened with Corey Goode and Gaia TV, it
- 11:11seemed like his world was crumbling. He was stuck
- 11:13in a house that he was clearly miserable in,
- 11:17very isolated from people, clearly. He was clearly
- 11:20unwell mentally. There's a few things that I
- 11:23have when I'm looking back on this. One thing
- 11:26we need to acknowledge is I think we just need
- 11:28to say thank you, David, for everything that
- 11:30you did bring us. Yeah. It feels weird in hindsight
- 11:34thinking about this, but in your own unique way,
- 11:37you did inspire us to get into this. We did absolutely
- 11:41research into things because of you. And I do
- 11:44think, especially when we were younger, it did
- 11:46inspire us to get a better understanding of these
- 11:49topics. It may not have led the way he would
- 11:52have thought it would for us, but I think we
- 11:54are better having been introduced to him and
- 11:58seeing him and learning from him. You said that
- 12:00very nicely. inspired my further digging into
- 12:05these kind of topics and our love of him goes
- 12:08like way back to that like in my early 20s. I
- 12:11listened to him a lot and realized a lot of things
- 12:15which led us to here. I think the biggest thing
- 12:17to take away from this though is isolation is
- 12:20hell on people. When you look at this man, what
- 12:24you see is a man falling into isolation over
- 12:28that period of time. And yes, he had thousands
- 12:30of people watching him every week, but that was
- 12:33still isolation. These are not interactions he's
- 12:37having. And you could tell with how he interacted
- 12:39with the chat. There is a disconnect. It wasn't
- 12:41a social interaction. There was a disconnect.
- 12:43Oh, yeah. And unchecked mental health can really
- 12:48cause damage. I think we're going to put in the
- 12:51notes for this episode links to suicide hotlines
- 12:54and I think it is important to note too if you
- 12:57know somebody who is depressed or suicidal and
- 13:01they make a sudden recovery there's a chance
- 13:04that that recovery is they've made their decision
- 13:06to take a step. Mm -hmm. So just be aware of
- 13:10that. Yeah, and I think that's what we saw here
- 13:12on Sunday Yeah, which is not sitting well with
- 13:15me. We were planning actually a Wilcock episode
- 13:18in the near future I don't know when that'll
- 13:20be now. Anyhow, it's a mini like Taylor said
- 13:24I'm gonna put in the suicide crisis lifelines
- 13:27in the notes while Taylor is actually if you
- 13:30must know Yes, and if you or someone you know
- 13:32was battling with thoughts of suicide 988 is
- 13:35the suicide hotline I double -checked it that
- 13:38it's North America 988. And I think not a good
- 13:42place to end on. Well, I think it's important.
- 13:45Nobody is going to think different of you for
- 13:47reaching out and call somebody. Nobody is going
- 13:51to think different of you for taking that step.
- 13:54They will think differently if you do end things.
- 13:57You'll live a big hole on everybody around you.
- 14:00And it's even people that you may not even think
- 14:03that you have an effect on. Like we see here
- 14:05with David Will. Unfortunately. If you guys got
- 14:0848 hours, if you need it, reach out to that number.
- 14:11If not, let's just contemplate a weird man who
- 14:15left an impact on all our lives. Yeah. Bye. Rest
- 14:18in peace, David Wilcock. Bye.
