- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's Best music is.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Nine and welcome to another episode of Scotti and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 2: We're coming back after the whole Father's Day weekend, and
- 0:10Speaker 2: I was sitting here thinking, wait a second, I think
- 0:13Speaker 2: I did screw up Father's Day. And I was talking
- 0:15Speaker 2: earlier in the show about how some people were mad
- 0:17Speaker 2: that I didn't post my dad on Father's Day. That's
- 0:21Speaker 2: not where I think I screwed up. I think I
- 0:23Speaker 2: screwed up because I actually didn't even like send my
- 0:26Speaker 2: dad anything. Like I didn't get him a gift. I
- 0:28Speaker 2: didn't send him a card. I simply gave him a
- 0:31Speaker 2: phone call. And I'm wondering, is that enough? Do you
- 0:35Speaker 2: think that is a good enough you know, as the
- 0:37Speaker 2: best son. I'm just joke, I think my brother is
- 0:39Speaker 2: is that a good enough gift?
- 0:40Speaker 3: I think it depends, like my dad can buy himself
- 0:43Speaker 3: anything that if I feel, if you're gonna give them
- 0:45Speaker 3: a gift, you have to give them something that they
- 0:47Speaker 3: can't buy themselves.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And I don't know what I could do in my
- 0:50Speaker 2: state of coming up in a career versus my dad
- 0:52Speaker 2: has done well in his career.
- 0:53Speaker 1: He's got his own business.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Yeah, Like what am I gonna do send my dad
- 0:56Speaker 3: to Saint Trepe?
- 0:57Speaker 2: No? I can't do any of those things. And so
- 1:00Speaker 2: I did give my dad a call. We had a
- 1:01Speaker 2: nice conversation. It just makes me wonder, I'm like trying
- 1:04Speaker 2: to put myself in those shoes way down the line.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Let me just go ahead and picture thirty years from now.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I now have a son and all he does on
- 1:11Speaker 2: Father's Day is give me a phone call.
- 1:13Speaker 3: What was he appreciative? Did he want you to do
- 1:15Speaker 3: something more? No? I don't think so, Like Steve's probably fine,
- 1:19Speaker 3: it's super chill.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I mean, I'm sure so many people, especially in the
- 1:21Speaker 2: podcast family, your friends or family members, once you hit
- 1:24Speaker 2: a certain age, they just get what they want when
- 1:27Speaker 2: they need it.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I even feel that way now, Like at twenty nine,
- 1:30Speaker 3: Like when my birthday came around, I literally didn't even
- 1:33Speaker 3: make a list. I was like, I don't really know
- 1:34Speaker 3: what I want. My mom was like, we'll get you
- 1:35Speaker 3: smack tobear. So like two months later I was like, okay,
- 1:38Speaker 3: I'll buy this. Hey.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I was going to say, like what did people get you?
- 1:40Speaker 2: Cause if you're going to throw like a party, yeah,
- 1:42Speaker 2: Like what do you expect people to get? You and
- 1:44Speaker 2: I say that, and this kind of leads in, like
- 1:46Speaker 2: like girlfriend's birthday is a month away.
- 1:49Speaker 3: While you're trying to figure out what to get your lady.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I have a couple ideas, Like I go off the
- 1:53Speaker 2: I'm not going to get you an item kind of thing,
- 1:55Speaker 2: like I'm going to set up the whole thing. She
- 1:56Speaker 2: knows that now, like I let her know, like I'm
- 1:58Speaker 2: going to plant I got you, don't even worry about it.
- 2:01Speaker 2: And I want to throw in a gift as well,
- 2:04Speaker 2: but it will not be an item technically, it'll be
- 2:06Speaker 2: an experience.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Do I want to know? Do I want to ask? You?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Know?
- 2:10Speaker 1: You can know after I won't say it on the
- 2:12Speaker 1: podcast because she listens. Yeah, you can know this sad.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think it's different with significant others
- 2:18Speaker 3: because you spend so much time with your boyfriend or
- 2:20Speaker 3: your girlfriend or whoever you're dating that it does feel impersonal.
- 2:24Speaker 3: If you don't get them something or get them some
- 2:26Speaker 3: kind of experience, it's like you didn't you know, listen
- 2:28Speaker 3: to me at all.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you should know me enough to be even even
- 2:31Speaker 2: if it's like something small. Yeah, if it's something I
- 2:34Speaker 2: use every day and you're like Oh, I know they
- 2:36Speaker 2: love this.
- 2:37Speaker 1: They're going to need this.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Uh huh.
- 2:38Speaker 1: It just shows that you're paying attention.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but some people just don't feel loved through gifts anyway.
- 2:43Speaker 3: But some people do, Like if you don't get them
- 2:45Speaker 3: a gift, then it's like, do you not even don't
- 2:46Speaker 3: even care about me.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I was thinking about this this weekend because I was
- 2:49Speaker 2: thinking about my birthday coming up and everyone's asking what
- 2:51Speaker 2: are you going to do for your thirtieth, And I said,
- 2:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't have anything necessarily planned. I've
- 2:57Speaker 2: never been someone that's gone big on my birthday. It
- 3:00Speaker 2: just doesn't really I'd rather just see some good people
- 3:02Speaker 2: I love. And if that's the case, I'm cool with it.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna do a trip for my thirtieth.
- 3:07Speaker 1: That would be the right thing to do.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I think if you could get people on the trip
- 3:10Speaker 2: with you, then it's everything's well, It's.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Like, well, I mean if people want to come, I
- 3:16Speaker 3: have friends, Scott.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Actually, Okay, Well, in that same sentence, what I was
- 3:21Speaker 2: watching a video and my buddy sent me one of
- 3:23Speaker 2: my friends. He's like, and it was all about friendships
- 3:25Speaker 2: and how as time goes on, it just gets harder
- 3:27Speaker 2: and harder to see your friends, and you got to
- 3:29Speaker 2: be so intentional about it. And one of the things
- 3:31Speaker 2: I want to set up with my friend group, the
- 3:32Speaker 2: ones that live all over the country, is like a
- 3:35Speaker 2: yearly trip.
- 3:36Speaker 1: The problem though, and then say this with your birthday
- 3:39Speaker 1: in a year.
- 3:41Speaker 2: If you don't put enough time in front of it
- 3:43Speaker 2: for them, and if people don't properly plan because you might,
- 3:46Speaker 2: they're gonna have to miss it. Which that sucks because
- 3:49Speaker 2: it's like you might have these friends, but they might
- 3:51Speaker 2: not be able to put aside the money to go
- 3:53Speaker 2: on the trip or be able to have that conversation
- 3:55Speaker 2: with their boss to put on the trip.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 3:57Speaker 3: But I'll be you know, I'm very reasonable, Like I'll
- 3:59Speaker 3: probably get that house. I'll be like, just come here,
- 4:01Speaker 3: come to the house. I will pay for the house.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I'm very big on not making people spend a ton
- 4:06Speaker 3: of money on my birthday. Like I'm not a fan
- 4:07Speaker 3: of that. Like I'm not big on birthday gifts except
- 4:10Speaker 3: for my parents because like they're fine.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It sucks, that's gonna be.
- 4:13Speaker 3: They're also they brought me into this world. That's the
- 4:15Speaker 3: least they can do celebrate me. But like for example,
- 4:18Speaker 3: even when I think about potentially getting married one day,
- 4:20Speaker 3: if if I choose to do a bad shorette party,
- 4:22Speaker 3: which I'm not even sure that I'll do, I want
- 4:25Speaker 3: to pay for literally as much as possible.
- 4:27Speaker 2: That's really nice because I know a lot of different
- 4:30Speaker 2: couples do not have that same mindset.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And I know, and to be fair, like I have
- 4:32Speaker 3: the privilege of even getting to think in that aspect.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But I'm not like, I'm not gonna get a house
- 4:36Speaker 3: in Cabo. It might be like, you know, a hotel
- 4:39Speaker 3: room in for louder deals. I don't know in twenty
- 4:43Speaker 3: forty five. Who knows, I might be super rich in
- 4:45Speaker 3: fifty years when I finally get married.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Well, what I've learned is like those little things, it
- 4:48Speaker 2: really just matters who you're with. Like you could go
- 4:50Speaker 2: anywhere in the world, but if you're not with the
- 4:53Speaker 2: right people, it doesn't matter. Like you could go to
- 4:56Speaker 2: Fort Lauderdale, and if you do, like your core group,
- 4:58Speaker 2: that's literally the fun of it.
- 5:00Speaker 3: That's what I mean. Is like by the time I
- 5:01Speaker 3: do something big, like my thirtieth birthday, it'll be like
- 5:04Speaker 3: me three of my really close friends and I just
- 5:06Speaker 3: want to go to like a couple fun dinners and
- 5:08Speaker 3: take some cute photos. Like that's what when I say
- 5:10Speaker 3: a trip, I mean like maybe come down to Saint Pete.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I'll get a hotel at the away, and like I
- 5:15Speaker 3: just want to take cute picks for a couple of days.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:17Speaker 2: That kind of puts it in perspective of what I
- 5:19Speaker 2: would want to do for my thirtieth because I'm like
- 5:20Speaker 2: I was thinking this weekend, it would be cool to
- 5:22Speaker 2: get like a house in the Keys. Yeah, you put
- 5:24Speaker 2: a good perspective if I just pay for the whole thing,
- 5:26Speaker 2: get a boat one day, Yeah, do.
- 5:28Speaker 1: A little snorkeling, goat out and do a little drinking.
- 5:30Speaker 3: But like they come down so like you, they have
- 5:32Speaker 3: to buy their flight whatever, But like I will get
- 5:34Speaker 3: the house, you pay for your dinners and stuff. But
- 5:36Speaker 3: let's just hang out, let's have a good time.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna put that together because that actually sounds like
- 5:39Speaker 2: a lot of fun, because I do want to celebrate something.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You could do a cruise. Cruises are so easy for
- 5:43Speaker 3: people I love, especially out of Tampa. It's like, what
- 5:45Speaker 3: four hundred bucks for a weekend.
- 5:46Speaker 1: It's nothing.
- 5:47Speaker 2: You can literally just pop on and I was just
- 5:49Speaker 2: talking to friends this weekend. Like the cruise is the
- 5:51Speaker 2: that's the fun part. It doesn't even matter where you go.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I'm going to the Bahamas, like I don't know, six times,
- 5:57Speaker 2: and you get to a certain point you're like, I'm
- 5:58Speaker 2: not even gonna get off anymore.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Stay on the cruise.
- 6:00Speaker 3: A cruise with like a big girl guide group. Oh
- 6:03Speaker 3: my god, so fun.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I'm musa start putting together the plants.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I've never really been a planner for these things, so
- 6:08Speaker 2: like that's why it's kind of like, Okay, I'm now
- 6:10Speaker 2: the planner of family activities, now the planner of friend activities,
- 6:15Speaker 2: and well now the one I like is actually like
- 6:17Speaker 2: relationship activities. That's the one I get the most joy
- 6:19Speaker 2: out of. But to be able to put something together
- 6:21Speaker 2: where you try to take away as many excuses as
- 6:23Speaker 2: possible for people. So yeah, and sorry I didn't get
- 6:27Speaker 2: my dad anything. Maybe i'd a venture down the line
- 6:29Speaker 2: would have been nice. I think the call was plenty.
- 6:31Speaker 3: So you love your girlfriend more than your dad, That's
- 6:33Speaker 3: what I'm hearing.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I think.
- 6:36Speaker 3: That's interesting a lot about you.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Oh that is a different man, and.
- 6:41Speaker 3: That literally gave life to you, raised you.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I think he's satisfied with a good call, I'll bring
- 6:46Speaker 2: him a nice pair of socks. When I see him next.
- 6:48Speaker 2: You'll get a nice cushioned pair of socks. Anyway, how
- 6:51Speaker 2: was your weekend?
- 6:51Speaker 3: It was good. I wanted to ask you about this
- 6:54Speaker 3: thing that everybody on Love Island is freaking out about
- 6:56Speaker 3: because I needed a straight man's perspective.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh good, I'll go ahead and fit that.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I know you're not watching Love Yeah, I know. I'm like,
- 7:02Speaker 3: Scot's a little gay, but it's fine. So Love Island
- 7:06Speaker 3: USA is the show that everybody is watching on Peacock
- 7:09Speaker 3: if you haven't started watching it. Literally, the sooner you
- 7:12Speaker 3: can get into it, the better. We're probably about halfway
- 7:15Speaker 3: through the season and we're all kind of mad at
- 7:19Speaker 3: the islanders. But the one storyline that people are enjoying
- 7:22Speaker 3: falling along I feel like, is these two guys. They're
- 7:27Speaker 3: both allegedly straight. They're both allegedly in these other couples
- 7:31Speaker 3: with these other women. Their names are Zach and Bryce,
- 7:35Speaker 3: and people are just kind of picking up on the
- 7:37Speaker 3: fact that at least one of them might be by
- 7:41Speaker 3: okay or fully gay and pretending to be straight.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Oh wow, So one of.
- 7:47Speaker 3: The things that happened in the not the last episode,
- 7:50Speaker 3: but the previous episode before that, is they woke up
- 7:53Speaker 3: and they're all hanging out and it's just Zack and
- 7:55Speaker 3: Bryce in the bedroom by themselves, and Zach goes girth
- 7:59Speaker 3: check and they both look at each other's wieners, which
- 8:04Speaker 3: might be kind of funny if it was like a
- 8:06Speaker 3: one off thing, but because we'd already suspected that they
- 8:09Speaker 3: were maybe like into each other, and then they continued
- 8:13Speaker 3: to talk about the size of each other's wieners for
- 8:15Speaker 3: the rest of the day. A lot of people are like,
- 8:17Speaker 3: is that normal straight man behavior? Because I can tell
- 8:21Speaker 3: you women are not doing that. We're not like whossy check,
- 8:24Speaker 3: you know what I mean. We're not like spread up Kathy,
- 8:28Speaker 3: maybe like boobs, but like that's not like that's not
- 8:32Speaker 3: something you're just doing.
- 8:34Speaker 2: That's so fascinating because I have so many different thoughts here.
- 8:37Speaker 2: First off, I will say, right off the bat, yes,
- 8:40Speaker 2: do guys do this?
- 8:42Speaker 1: Really? Yes?
- 8:43Speaker 3: So you have done that with your straight friends. You've
- 8:44Speaker 3: been like.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Length check, Well, we okay, we growing up.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It's a weird thing in the male brain of like, oh,
- 8:53Speaker 2: let me, I just gotta see, like other guys are
- 8:55Speaker 2: packing too.
- 8:56Speaker 1: But when you're growing up, I mean, I've peede.
- 8:58Speaker 2: With my best friends, like we've all seen each other's wieners.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Growing up is.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Different, That's what I'm saying.
- 9:04Speaker 3: So as an adult man, let's say after college twenty
- 9:07Speaker 3: two and.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Up, that's where I go.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Have you ever seen a grown man's wiener?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Not one of my friends? No? Well, okay, say that
- 9:14Speaker 1: because like a lover.
- 9:17Speaker 3: No, Like, if I go to the gym, Monica packing,
- 9:19Speaker 3: I don't know this.
- 9:21Speaker 2: If you go to the gym and you'll see like
- 9:22Speaker 2: guys just getting undressed, you'll see a couple of grown
- 9:24Speaker 2: man Okay, but you.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Haven't asked to see a grown man.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I don't do that Anymore's wait, let me take that
- 9:31Speaker 2: back in Yeah, shoot, no, I would say after like
- 9:35Speaker 2: you get out of college, like you're not like growing
- 9:37Speaker 2: out anymore to see each other's wiener.
- 9:39Speaker 3: That's what I mean.
- 9:40Speaker 2: That is the part of me that's like, y'all, like
- 9:42Speaker 2: that is now a choice that you're making. It's not
- 9:44Speaker 2: even being like, haha funny. But if they still are
- 9:46Speaker 2: in their young twenties, then potentially it's still kind of browie.
- 9:50Speaker 2: But I turned twenty five, and I decided I'm not
- 9:51Speaker 2: going to look at my friends wiener.
- 9:52Speaker 3: You get your frontal load development. You're like, that's not.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I shouldn't be looking at my buddy's wiener.
- 9:57Speaker 3: So I see, I feel like it might be confirmation
- 10:00Speaker 3: and that Zach is for sure into Bryce. I feel
- 10:02Speaker 3: like Bryce is just like a dude. He's like, oh yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 3: Penis Chuck. But I'm watching this go down. I'm like,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Zach is for sure into Brice.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Unless he's so comfortable with his sexuality mane, and he's like, yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 2: I don't care, and I'm comfortable with my wiener.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I take a look, and I'll take a look at yours.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I think if he was more into his female partner,
- 10:21Speaker 3: i'd be more like, oh yeah, he's just like brown out.
- 10:23Speaker 3: But I think because he doesn't really seem like he's
- 10:25Speaker 3: that into her ah and he seems like literally in
- 10:28Speaker 3: the last episode and I haven't seen it, but I've
- 10:30Speaker 3: just seen clips he's taught.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I saw this.
- 10:32Speaker 3: He's talking to Bryce and his lady Kada comes over
- 10:36Speaker 3: and tries to talk to him, tries to kiss him,
- 10:37Speaker 3: and he literally goes, dude, I'm talking to Bryce right now.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I'm like there's a hot she's the hottest girl in
- 10:43Speaker 3: the villa. I'm like, there's a hot woman all over you,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and you want to go talk to Bryce right now.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, this is where the guy brain just goes down
- 10:50Speaker 1: the drain.
- 10:50Speaker 3: That's where I'm like, I don't know, there's something, there's
- 10:52Speaker 3: something fruity afoot.
- 10:54Speaker 2: What are the other signs? If I may ask that
- 10:56Speaker 2: you've been like, huh, dude.
- 10:58Speaker 3: It's just kind of like the it's a romance that
- 11:01Speaker 3: just is teetering on the edge of this is a
- 11:04Speaker 3: little bit closer than what you see from the average broman, Like.
- 11:08Speaker 1: You're seeking it out way too much.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Like they're they'll lay in bed together and just gab,
- 11:12Speaker 3: which is fine, Like women do that, but.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I will say, like, we don't. I mean a lot
- 11:17Speaker 2: of my like we don't just lay in the bed
- 11:19Speaker 2: and gab. Like I will joke with my buddies and
- 11:21Speaker 2: I'll you know, like we'll smack each other's asses like
- 11:25Speaker 2: every now and then, like jokingly or sometimes lightly tap
- 11:28Speaker 2: each other's weener.
- 11:30Speaker 1: That's a weird one, I know, but it is something
- 11:32Speaker 1: we do.
- 11:32Speaker 3: You're saying, I'm not a straight dude, so I don't
- 11:34Speaker 3: know what's considered normal, whereas girls like I'll slap like
- 11:37Speaker 3: you you do it to be funny, Like yeah.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Like it's all in good fun.
- 11:40Speaker 2: But I was just talking to a friend and one
- 11:42Speaker 2: of my friends who is gay, and he was telling
- 11:45Speaker 2: me how him and a buddy were just like laying
- 11:46Speaker 2: in bed gabin and the one friend is like, he's
- 11:50Speaker 2: more bye, I would say, And we were talking. I
- 11:54Speaker 2: was like, yeah, well I want to lay in bed
- 11:55Speaker 2: and gab with you. Because he was asking, He's like,
- 11:56Speaker 2: do you think he's into me? And I was like, well, yeah,
- 11:59Speaker 2: I think he has more crush on you if he's
- 12:00Speaker 2: gonna lay in bed and gab with you. Because I'll
- 12:02Speaker 2: be honest, buddy, like I'm not gonna lay in bed
- 12:04Speaker 2: and gab with you.
- 12:04Speaker 1: We're not gonna cuddle up in bed and scroll on
- 12:06Speaker 1: the phone.
- 12:06Speaker 3: So that's not a guy thing. So they did do
- 12:08Speaker 3: that in the bedroom.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Is not something that I would do with my buddies.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, like we may lay there, Like I've definitely slept
- 12:16Speaker 2: in the bed with buddies and the same bed, especially
- 12:19Speaker 2: like if it's an airbnb and you don't have any room. Yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 2: but there's the kind of the joke of like out
- 12:24Speaker 2: up a pillow wool or don't come cuddle me in
- 12:27Speaker 2: the middle of the night.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So it depends on how close.
- 12:29Speaker 2: But even like my best best friends, Yeah, like, I'm
- 12:32Speaker 2: not gonna be cuddled up next to them scrolling on
- 12:34Speaker 2: TikTok interesting up in the bed and I'm done looking
- 12:38Speaker 2: at their wieners too.
- 12:39Speaker 3: So he's like, no more, no more.
- 12:41Speaker 1: We put an end to that. I recall it.
- 12:42Speaker 3: He's like, I put them to bed in twenty twenty five.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not gonna ask anymore.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Twenty twenty six is a year of no wieners, I
- 12:49Speaker 3: will say, though it might happen one more time on
- 12:51Speaker 3: like a bachelor trip or it's like a couple buddies
- 12:54Speaker 3: you go pee out in the woods again.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's kind of jokingly look over at each
- 12:57Speaker 1: other's wiener.
- 12:58Speaker 3: But I mean I think so I watched it, I
- 13:01Speaker 3: was like, is it me projecting that onto men? Because women,
- 13:05Speaker 3: I feel like, are much more comfortable being unclothed around
- 13:08Speaker 3: their friends. True, Like, and it's not like a normal
- 13:12Speaker 3: gay adjacent thing.
- 13:14Speaker 2: You know, I'm.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Interesting because I do that.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Okay, I swear it one hot tub party, I'm saying
- 13:19Speaker 3: that because my friend Rebecca shout out, Rebecca love you.
- 13:22Speaker 3: She's a big listener of the Unfiltered podcast. She commented
- 13:25Speaker 3: on one of our videos on personality hires, and we
- 13:27Speaker 3: were doing this game for Pride where we were like,
- 13:30Speaker 3: is it gay or not gay? It's a whole thing.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Oh my, and she goes hear me out Abby, I'm like, Rebecca,
- 13:35Speaker 3: I got naked in a hot tub once because I
- 13:38Speaker 3: know swimsuit and I was hammered. I'm okay, I swear,
- 13:43Speaker 3: I swear.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Gosh. I mean it is fascinating. The bro world is weird.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I am more comfortable now, like just walking around and
- 13:49Speaker 2: I've warned things let's say that are revealing, and it's
- 13:53Speaker 2: been more comfortable and easy to do now. You know what,
- 13:57Speaker 2: Maybe they're closer on the spectrum it's wanting to be lovers.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Maybe at the end of the season.
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's kind of like what do we find out with
- 14:02Speaker 1: Like Colton.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Underwood and The Bachelor, He's dating all these women and
- 14:05Speaker 2: then he's like okay.
- 14:07Speaker 3: So that really bothered me because I stood up for
- 14:08Speaker 3: him because I came from a really Christian background and
- 14:11Speaker 3: so when he was like, oh, I just you know,
- 14:13Speaker 3: I haven't had sex because it's a religious thing. I'm like, okay,
- 14:15Speaker 3: that seems like valid. Everyone stopped calling him gay because
- 14:18Speaker 3: he he has morals or something, and then he came
- 14:21Speaker 3: out and he was super gay. What my thing is,
- 14:25Speaker 3: how did the girls not pick up on it?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Well, that's w I think with the girls, like the
- 14:29Speaker 2: part of me that's just like, bro, even if you're
- 14:31Speaker 2: browing out, like that's the dumbest thing to do, because
- 14:33Speaker 2: guys will do that, like out in Tampa here, yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 2: where it's like they'll just be brown out and then
- 14:38Speaker 2: a girl will come up and talk and they're like, no,
- 14:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep talking to the bros. You're an idiot
- 14:43Speaker 2: at that point. Yeah, that's why you're not getting laid
- 14:45Speaker 2: or getting any attention. Like your bro should be the
- 14:48Speaker 2: ones that understand, like, bro, go talk to that beautiful,
- 14:51Speaker 2: beautiful woman. And if they don't let you do that,
- 14:54Speaker 2: well then you got some weird friends. They should be
- 14:56Speaker 2: supporting you as you go out there in the scene like.
- 14:58Speaker 3: No, I want to talk to my boy, my boy
- 15:00Speaker 3: them bruh boys, you guys do you.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Guys have so much time for that? Yeah, talk to
- 15:05Speaker 1: the pretty lady.
- 15:06Speaker 3: But maybe it's an American thing too. So for example,
- 15:09Speaker 3: Zach is British and Bryce is American, and I remember
- 15:14Speaker 3: feeling super I'd like take a step back because you know,
- 15:17Speaker 3: I love my gaze. I was like, am I homophobic?
- 15:19Speaker 3: So when we were in London and in Scotland in December,
- 15:24Speaker 3: same to exactly what you were saying, where we would
- 15:28Speaker 3: approach these guys and I'm with like some objectively like
- 15:31Speaker 3: I'm not saying we're tense, but we're like attractive, fun girls.
- 15:34Speaker 3: And we would approach these guys and they just had
- 15:35Speaker 3: no interest in talking to us, or they would talk
- 15:38Speaker 3: to us, but they would just be like way more
- 15:39Speaker 3: into their bros. And a couple of times I did
- 15:42Speaker 3: this thing where I'm like, so, you guys like into
- 15:44Speaker 3: each other, you guys like lovers, And these guys multiple
- 15:48Speaker 3: times would jokingly grab their friends and I'm assuming jokingly
- 15:51Speaker 3: would grab their friends and start making out with them
- 15:53Speaker 3: in front of me. Oh my god, and I would
- 15:55Speaker 3: look at them. I'd be like, so, is that your boyfriend?
- 15:57Speaker 1: And they're like, no, this is my bro.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And so I I wonder if over there they're just
- 16:01Speaker 3: more comfortable and the way that women are comfortable with
- 16:05Speaker 3: their bodies. And it's not like a statement about their.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Sexuality that could definitely be it. That sounds like it's
- 16:11Speaker 2: more of like, oh, yeah, I'm just comfortable in my sexuality.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I don't care. I'll kiss my bro.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, like I I have accidentally kissed the bro once
- 16:19Speaker 2: or twice.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's happened.
- 16:21Speaker 3: When and how I define accidentally? Like how many times
- 16:26Speaker 3: to define accidental?
- 16:27Speaker 2: Well, it just depends on how cool I will say,
- 16:29Speaker 2: Like I am so comfortable with my sexuality, Like I'll
- 16:31Speaker 2: get picked on throughout this entire building. Yeah, Like even
- 16:35Speaker 2: I've had friends recently, I've gone out to like get
- 16:37Speaker 2: drinks and they're like, oh my.
- 16:38Speaker 1: God, I thought you were gay.
- 16:41Speaker 2: My friends adjacent like so a friend's acquaintances and like
- 16:45Speaker 2: literally the first thing like this happened two weeks ago.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I was out to drinks with a buddy and his friend.
- 16:50Speaker 2: The first thing they said to me, oh, you're not gay.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I said, what, Because I'm friends with somebody that's gay.
- 16:59Speaker 2: That makes me gay? No, but I'm comfortable with my sexuality.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Like I'll be touchy, lovey dovey all my friends, especially
- 17:05Speaker 2: if they're my super close friends. So I guess that
- 17:08Speaker 2: does go in line with you so close to.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Your accident you're slipping and falling into their lips.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Well, okay, there's one time with a buddy where we
- 17:14Speaker 2: jokingly went to kiss and we accidentally kissed each other. Okay,
- 17:17Speaker 2: the truth is out there. He knows what I'm talking about.
- 17:20Speaker 2: We've acknowledged it. It's fine.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But that's Okayay, not gay, that's my brother.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Okay, it's fine, but comfortable in that sense where I'm like, Okay,
- 17:28Speaker 2: you guys can think I'm gay, that's cool.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I know I'm not.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I like to say I like whenever I figured out
- 17:34Speaker 2: the whole spectrum thing, and I was like, whoa, that's
- 17:37Speaker 2: fascinating where it's like, you know, where somebody could be
- 17:40Speaker 2: a little closer to maybe buy or maybe by and
- 17:42Speaker 2: maybe the gay and it's like the whole spectrum and
- 17:45Speaker 2: you meet all these different people that are like, yeah,
- 17:46Speaker 2: like I will not me this is not a quote
- 17:49Speaker 2: unquote Scott, but like I will make out with my bro. Okay,
- 17:52Speaker 2: maybe you're closer on the spectrum to you know, maybe
- 17:54Speaker 2: being in the middle. Yeah, maybe not full gay, but
- 17:58Speaker 2: maybe you're just so comfortable in your sexuality that side
- 18:00Speaker 2: of he doesn't freak you out, and.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Some people were just freaky there just there's into anything.
- 18:04Speaker 3: They think there's horny.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Oh well in that case, and to be fair, it is.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Love Island, USA. He's just probably a horny dude.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Honestly, he just wants to get it wherever he can.
- 18:12Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, I'm bored with this girl, let me
- 18:13Speaker 3: switch it up.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It is weird though, with the whole idea of like ignoring,
- 18:17Speaker 2: because there's a thing in guy culture that I've noticed
- 18:20Speaker 2: where if you listen to the wrong dudes online, they
- 18:23Speaker 2: will take you down the wrong path and it's like
- 18:26Speaker 2: the whole alpha male thing, or there's a whole thing
- 18:29Speaker 2: of like don't show interest to make them more interested
- 18:32Speaker 2: in you.
- 18:32Speaker 3: No, like the whole Zach bricing that I just explained
- 18:35Speaker 3: that it's not the case whatsoever. Like he was genuinely like, no,
- 18:38Speaker 3: I'm talking to my friend Bryce.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Oh he's not even trying to like play the game.
- 18:41Speaker 3: He's like, yeah, because they've already banged. They're the one
- 18:44Speaker 3: couple that's banged.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Oh my god, and literally.
- 18:47Speaker 3: The second after they were done having sex, and they
- 18:50Speaker 3: like showed the aftermath, not after aftermath, like the aftermath
- 18:53Speaker 3: of them banging. He goes, so, are you gonna be
- 18:55Speaker 3: mad at me if I flirt with a bombshell, which
- 18:57Speaker 3: basically means like a new person coming into the villa,
- 18:59Speaker 3: And she's like, what, oh my, that's what he.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Said right after it. Yes, okay, well this guy sucks.
- 19:04Speaker 2: This is why this show would just frustrate me, because
- 19:06Speaker 2: I hope nobody's taking notes of like yeah, that's that,
- 19:08Speaker 2: because I'm like, what the hell, I don't care if
- 19:10Speaker 2: you are going to look for love and you're like, okay,
- 19:13Speaker 2: that was fine, but like you don't say it right after.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I know, like timing my guy time.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Or respect, like you just you got to.
- 19:20Speaker 3: You were literally just inside her, you know what I mean?
- 19:24Speaker 2: This show, I get why people watch it, but like
- 19:27Speaker 2: this's somebody who's asking me yesterday, They're like, you watch that?
- 19:29Speaker 2: I was like, no, I can't watch that because it
- 19:31Speaker 2: just seems like I'd rather light things on fire, including myself.
- 19:34Speaker 1: If I was watching that show.
- 19:35Speaker 3: That's what the producers are doing, just constantly lighting fire.
- 19:38Speaker 1: They found the people that were going to cause the
- 19:40Speaker 1: most drama.
- 19:40Speaker 2: But it does weirdly make me want to watch it
- 19:42Speaker 2: and just see like how people truly think less way
- 19:45Speaker 2: because you think it's just TV, but literally people are
- 19:47Speaker 2: walking around the streets in the city with that same
- 19:49Speaker 2: exact mindset.
- 19:50Speaker 3: They're doing that and it's very entertaining. I like that
- 19:52Speaker 3: it adds structure to my summer nights, you know, because
- 19:54Speaker 3: it gets so it stays late, or it stays a
- 19:57Speaker 3: light so late that I feel like it gives me
- 19:58Speaker 3: like a wine down routine. Turn on your SIMS, you
- 20:01Speaker 3: check in on your SIMS. You see who's screwing over who,
- 20:04Speaker 3: and everyone's talking about it that I feel like I'm
- 20:06Speaker 3: in the mix. I'm talking about what the people are
- 20:08Speaker 3: talking about.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I gotta get on that algorithm from Instagram because I
- 20:10Speaker 2: want to see what people are talking about and acknowledging
- 20:12Speaker 2: from that show.
- 20:13Speaker 1: But if you said it's what it's an hour each episode, it's.
- 20:16Speaker 3: An hour each episode. I don't know, like the when
- 20:18Speaker 3: does Love Island air?
- 20:19Speaker 2: Because then I'd have to go one buy peacock and
- 20:22Speaker 2: then dive in an hour a day and just to
- 20:25Speaker 2: be able to catch up on these you.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Can write it off on your taxes.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Oh could I? Because I'm reasoning it on the show's.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Sitting it on the show. Okay, if you're asking about
- 20:31Speaker 3: Love Island USA. New episodes air at nine pm Eastern
- 20:34Speaker 3: on Peacock. The current season streams six days a week,
- 20:37Speaker 3: with Wednesdays off so and then Saturdays are for after Sun,
- 20:41Speaker 3: which is like the the like the.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Chatter afterwards, like do you watch it every night at nine?
- 20:47Speaker 3: I didn't watch last night because I was busy recording
- 20:50Speaker 3: triumpa Bay Monday, but usually I do.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I'm impressed. I'm tired for you.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I know that's it, but I gotta know. I want
- 20:59Speaker 3: to know what people are doing.
- 21:00Speaker 1: I get it.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I mean, i'd rather you know what's going on in
- 21:02Speaker 2: the Love Island world because I'm not going to be
- 21:03Speaker 2: the one that watches it. But if it's it just
- 21:06Speaker 2: sounds so horrible. Maybe I'll watch the repeats the day after.
- 21:09Speaker 2: I'll just be one day behind.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Just catch up on TikTok.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I just okay, there you go.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Because I did see the clip where the guy like
- 21:14Speaker 2: opened his shorts and he looked down his buddy's.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Pets, and I was like, that's Zach and Bryce.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Okay, well there you go. Maybe they just like to
- 21:20Speaker 2: see where they're comparing to each other.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Yeah, girth check. Should we do a girth check?
- 21:24Speaker 1: No, No, we should not. We should go in into
- 21:27Speaker 1: the sales meeting.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah. And speaking of Trampa Bay, you can still sign
- 21:30Speaker 3: up for Trampa Bay get Away. Sign ups closed first,
- 21:33Speaker 3: that's next.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Week days away link in bio.
- 21:36Speaker 3: Link in the episode description.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Mofos all right, I know this is a shorter episode.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Some people have gotten mad that they're shorter, but some
- 21:41Speaker 2: days we just have to go to other meetings, so apologize.
- 21:44Speaker 2: More things coming tomorrow
