Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Conversations Live. I'm your host,
- 0:02Speaker 1: Cyrus Webb. and strategist. We're going to talk to her
- 0:31Speaker 1: not only about what it's been like for her to
- 0:33Speaker 1: build on her strength in the bond and what she's
- 0:36Speaker 1: been able to do with that platform, but also how
- 0:38Speaker 1: it's been able to rise and include others as well.
- 0:41Speaker 1: She's been talking with mothers and daughters, and particularly with women,
- 0:45Speaker 1: but also she's expanding that as well. I want to
- 0:47Speaker 1: talk to her about that and let you guys know
- 0:49Speaker 1: how to stay connected with all the updates on what's
- 0:52Speaker 1: going on with her. Melanie, welcome back to the broadcast.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you, Starla, for having me. I am excited.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Well, Melanie, you've been doing a lot. In fact, one
- 1:03Speaker 1: of our other CMG members recently had an interview with you,
- 1:06Speaker 1: had a chance to catch. You've had a lot going on.
- 1:09Speaker 1: You and I were just talking before we went live here,
- 1:11Speaker 1: and you started Strength in the Bond, you were just
- 1:12Speaker 1: sharing with me, in 2016, so a decade ago. What
- 1:16Speaker 1: has it been like for you now to look at
- 1:17Speaker 1: those 10 years, Melanie, and all that you've been able
- 1:20Speaker 1: to do under that umbrella and platform?
- 1:23Speaker 2: You know what? It doesn't seem like it's been that long,
- 1:26Speaker 2: but that's a long time. You know what? It's been amazing.
- 1:35Speaker 2: When you think about the inception of Strength in the Bond,
- 1:38Speaker 2: where it started off bringing just mothers, not just, but
- 1:42Speaker 2: mothers and daughters together, and then expanding it with the men,
- 1:48Speaker 2: with the family in its whole totality, including me and men,
- 1:53Speaker 2: including the sons, including bringing organizations together as well. I
- 2:00Speaker 2: love it. It's surprising to me because I never would
- 2:04Speaker 2: have thought that Strength in the Bond would be doing
- 2:07Speaker 2: as much as we're doing. But I'm excited, excited to
- 2:11Speaker 2: be used this way as the vessel to help everyone.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And not everyone, but the people that need Strength in
- 2:20Speaker 2: the Bond. Because when we help the people from the
- 2:25Speaker 2: inside out, especially the family, the individuals, that means you
- 2:29Speaker 2: are helping the community and everyone else. So I am
- 2:33Speaker 2: excited to what Strength in the Bond is doing.
- 2:37Speaker 1: So let's stay with that for a second, Melanie, because
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's been a while since you've been on our platform.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And I want our audience to kind of get a
- 2:43Speaker 1: better idea of who you are and why this was
- 2:47Speaker 1: even started in 2016. What made you want to answer
- 2:50Speaker 1: the call? Because I think, you know, when we look
- 2:53Speaker 1: at life, we have a choice, right? We can either
- 2:55Speaker 1: be a bystander when we see situations happen, or we
- 2:59Speaker 1: can be part of the solution. What made you say,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know what, I see a need here, but I
- 3:06Speaker 1: want to be able to do something to fill that need?
- 3:08Speaker 1: What was that motivation for you?
- 3:11Speaker 2: So when I started working with Mothers and Daughters, listening to,
- 3:16Speaker 2: coaching the mothers and daughters and partnering with them. I
- 3:21Speaker 2: listened to them and what affected the mother sometimes, it
- 3:27Speaker 2: wasn't just the daughter, but it was bigger than that.
- 3:30Speaker 2: It may have been generational. It may have dealt with
- 3:35Speaker 2: the loss of the husband, whether it was divorce or
- 3:38Speaker 2: whether it was death or, you know, just based upon
- 3:42Speaker 2: that aspect of the family, the men. And also when
- 3:47Speaker 2: you're talking about mothers and daughters, you're not just talking
- 3:50Speaker 2: about the men part. You're also talking, especially if she
- 3:54Speaker 2: has a son, what is it like for the son
- 3:57Speaker 2: to be there as well without the father or with
- 4:01Speaker 2: the father, the father can be there as well. So
- 4:04Speaker 2: not just for mothers and daughters. I knew I had
- 4:09Speaker 2: to expand it because you have the whole family. And
- 4:15Speaker 2: the whole family needs to become stronger because we have
- 4:19Speaker 2: a breakdown sometimes in communication and the relationship. And we
- 4:25Speaker 2: just need to be, you know, help build them back up, individuals.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And so when we build the families up from the
- 4:34Speaker 2: inside out, you know, and coach them and then, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 2: do communication conflict resolution, as I would say, then you're
- 4:44Speaker 2: not only helping the mother and daughter, you are helping
- 4:47Speaker 2: everybody in that household. And when you help everyone in
- 4:51Speaker 2: that household, therefore they can go out in the community
- 4:55Speaker 2: and they can go to work, they can go to
- 4:57Speaker 2: their own businesses and they can help others because we
- 5:01Speaker 2: have given them the tools to strengthen, you know, help
- 5:05Speaker 2: strengthen them and they can go out and strengthen others
- 5:09Speaker 2: as well.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You mentioned the coaching then, Melanie. So Strength in the
- 5:15Speaker 1: Bun LLC started in 2016. When did the coaching aspect
- 5:20Speaker 1: with mothers and daughters and women, when did that start
- 5:24Speaker 1: for you?
- 5:26Speaker 2: The coaching aspect started basically, I want to say, in
- 5:31Speaker 2: maybe 2017.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And workshops and talking to mothers and daughters, but then
- 5:46Speaker 2: we had mothers and daughters that wanted a one-on-one coaching
- 5:51Speaker 2: and I saw a need for that. And then I
- 5:53Speaker 2: have a daughter as well, and I am a daughter.
- 5:56Speaker 2: So I saw a big need for that, you know,
- 6:01Speaker 2: to strengthen our relationship. Although I said, okay, Me and
- 6:07Speaker 2: my daughter have a great relationship. But why not celebrate us?
- 6:14Speaker 2: Why not build upon what we have? And although our
- 6:19Speaker 2: relationship is good, sometimes we do have that conflict, you know?
- 6:25Speaker 2: But we're able to sit down and talk about what's
- 6:29Speaker 2: going on and what brought us here at this particular point.
- 6:34Speaker 1: So.
- 6:34Speaker 2: For me to strengthen my family, my daughter, and help
- 6:40Speaker 2: with my mother as well, strengthen the relationship between me
- 6:44Speaker 2: and my mother that much more, why not, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 2: help others? So when people wanted me to help them,
- 6:53Speaker 2: give them the tools, I was like, okay, now let
- 6:57Speaker 2: me see what that will look like. So I did it.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I did it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So how did you, because you've kind of built this,
- 7:05Speaker 1: as we were just talking about before we went on here,
- 7:08Speaker 1: Melinda Bunn movement, and so one of the things you've
- 7:11Speaker 1: been able to do is to share this in books.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Was that something that you knew automatically was going to
- 7:18Speaker 1: be a part of this, or was that something that
- 7:20Speaker 1: just evolved as the movement was building?
- 7:24Speaker 2: The books came first, Iris. Going through the divorce, And
- 7:29Speaker 2: back in 2016, God told me to pick up my
- 7:33Speaker 2: pen and paper and write. And that came first. And
- 7:38Speaker 2: within that, and my daughter came to my house one
- 7:44Speaker 2: particular day while going through the divorce, you know, because
- 7:47Speaker 2: I was devastated, you know, going through that divorce. And
- 7:52Speaker 2: she was praying for myself and my younger son at
- 7:56Speaker 2: that particular time because he was in college as she
- 8:00Speaker 2: was over praying for us. And I heard the Holy
- 8:03Speaker 2: Spirit say that your bond is going to be strengthened.
- 8:09Speaker 2: And I didn't know what that meant. But then going
- 8:13Speaker 2: back before God, talking to him and asking him, you know,
- 8:16Speaker 2: what does this mean? He just led me into a
- 8:19Speaker 2: situation where sometimes there will be conflict. You know, and
- 8:25Speaker 2: and having there will be other mothers and daughters that
- 8:28Speaker 2: will be going through the same thing that you're going through.
- 8:31Speaker 2: There will be mothers that will be going through a divorce.
- 8:33Speaker 2: There will be mothers that will be going through a death.
- 8:36Speaker 2: There will be mothers that will be going through everything
- 8:38Speaker 2: and especially with their daughters as well. So that's what
- 8:44Speaker 2: made me start off with the book. The book came
- 8:48Speaker 2: first and then everything else came after writing it. Writing
- 8:53Speaker 2: about three or four books, everything else came afterwards.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Wow. So talk to us about that experience, Melanie, because,
- 9:02Speaker 1: you know, it's not always easy when we're going through something, right?
- 9:06Speaker 1: It's not always easy to talk about it. You not
- 9:09Speaker 1: only talked about it, you've been writing about it. You've
- 9:11Speaker 1: been speaking about it. What has that been like for
- 9:14Speaker 1: you to help in your own healing? But what has
- 9:17Speaker 1: it been like for you to see how you're also
- 9:18Speaker 1: helping other people to heal as well?
- 9:22Speaker 2: You're definitely right because it's not easy speaking about it.
- 9:26Speaker 2: And I did not want to speak about it. In
- 9:31Speaker 2: the beginning, I said, I do not want to speak
- 9:33Speaker 2: about this because I don't want anyone knowing that I'm
- 9:37Speaker 2: going through a divorce. However, the Lord put it on
- 9:41Speaker 2: my heart to say, I am allowing you to go
- 9:45Speaker 2: through this, not just for you, but for you to
- 9:49Speaker 2: help other people out. Who's going to be going through
- 9:51Speaker 2: this as well? And prime example, I had my own business,
- 9:57Speaker 2: one of the businesses. It was a... a hair salon
- 10:01Speaker 2: and barbershop. And I was going to work for two
- 10:06Speaker 2: or three weeks running my business, and no one knew
- 10:10Speaker 2: that I was going through a divorce. And I had
- 10:14Speaker 2: been married at that particular time for like 25 years, Cyrus.
- 10:19Speaker 2: No one knew it. And they would be asking me
- 10:22Speaker 2: about my husband, my then husband. And I was, you know,
- 10:29Speaker 2: was just could not say anything because I was so devastated. Now,
- 10:33Speaker 2: fast forward. When I started, people wanted to know more because.
- 10:40Speaker 2: It affected the business as they thought it was going
- 10:43Speaker 2: to affect the business, but it really did not. The
- 10:45Speaker 2: only thing that affected was him not being there. But
- 10:48Speaker 2: then there were other people, my clients, other people's clients,
- 10:52Speaker 2: the other stylists, their clients. Some of them were going
- 10:58Speaker 2: through divorce or separation, and they would call me to see, Melanie,
- 11:05Speaker 2: you are so strong. Can you please tell me how
- 11:08Speaker 2: you're getting through this? Can you please pray with me?
- 11:12Speaker 2: And at that point, I didn't think I was strong. Yes,
- 11:15Speaker 2: I have a mask on. I was strong at the business,
- 11:19Speaker 2: but at home I was falling apart. But no one
- 11:22Speaker 2: ever knew. So I had to just be an open
- 11:26Speaker 2: book and let them know, hey, I'm falling apart here.
- 11:29Speaker 2: This is what's going on. So let me just take
- 11:31Speaker 2: off my mask. to let you guys know this is
- 11:35Speaker 2: what's going on. And yes, I can pray for you
- 11:38Speaker 2: because not only am I praying for you, I am
- 11:40Speaker 2: helping myself as well. So I was able to pour
- 11:44Speaker 2: into people, which in turn helped me myself. And then
- 11:50Speaker 2: people started asking, how do you do this and how
- 11:53Speaker 2: are you doing that? And especially with children, my kids were,
- 11:58Speaker 2: you know, young adults. My youngest son was, you know,
- 12:03Speaker 2: it's his last year in college. So although they were devastated,
- 12:08Speaker 2: I couldn't even imagine about a young child going through that.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And that's why God had me to write that very
- 12:16Speaker 2: first book, Divorce From My Point of View, which dealt
- 12:20Speaker 2: with a young child dealing with the divorce of their parents.
- 12:25Speaker 2: So I had to write it and the aspect from
- 12:28Speaker 2: a young child's point of view. So, that was able
- 12:32Speaker 2: to help me help others as well to get through
- 12:37Speaker 2: all of this. And that's what brought on silence. When
- 12:41Speaker 2: I say it's been a domino effect from that book
- 12:45Speaker 2: for the mothers and daughters, and then the men was
- 12:49Speaker 2: actually just always on me. When are you going to
- 12:52Speaker 2: do something for men? When are you going to do
- 12:54Speaker 2: something for men? You're always talking to the women. And
- 12:57Speaker 2: so it had me to... It led me to go
- 13:00Speaker 2: back in the barbershop area and just sit there and
- 13:03Speaker 2: talk to the men, too. You know, have conversations with
- 13:06Speaker 2: the men. And so I had to think, fast forward, okay, men,
- 13:11Speaker 2: they are a pivotal part of family. They are a
- 13:17Speaker 2: very important part. It wouldn't be any children without the
- 13:21Speaker 2: mother or the father, regardless of what people say, you know,
- 13:25Speaker 2: how it's done. In vitro fertilization or whatever, it would
- 13:30Speaker 2: not be any children without the mother or the father.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So that's the nuclear family. And that's how we all
- 13:39Speaker 2: get through everything by seeing what is how they are affected.
- 13:44Speaker 2: And that's how I ended up pouring into and, you know,
- 13:47Speaker 2: coaching all of them. Right.
- 13:51Speaker 1: And now, of course, you're able to speak to them.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I want to say for those who are just tuning in, welcome.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You all are listening to Conversations Live. We're excited to
- 13:57Speaker 1: welcome back Melanie D. Phillips to our broadcast. You can
- 14:00Speaker 1: tell she wears many hats. She has the LLC, Strength
- 14:03Speaker 1: in a Bond, that's celebrating 10 years this year. Also,
- 14:07Speaker 1: of course, she's an author. She's a speaker, motivator, as
- 14:11Speaker 1: well as a media host. We're talking with her about
- 14:13Speaker 1: the brand she's been able to build. So for yourself then, Melanie,
- 14:17Speaker 1: it sounds like, and I think this is true for
- 14:20Speaker 1: a lot of people, I think even for myself, your
- 14:23Speaker 1: purpose really did come from your pain. You were able
- 14:26Speaker 1: to take things that you personally had experienced, had dealt with,
- 14:31Speaker 1: had even overcome, and able to use that to help others.
- 14:34Speaker 1: How does that feel to look at the after effect,
- 14:37Speaker 1: to look at the people who read your books, the
- 14:39Speaker 1: people who watch your programs, the people who attend your events?
- 14:43Speaker 1: How does it feel to know that you are giving
- 14:45Speaker 1: them something that can help them in their own journey?
- 14:50Speaker 2: It feels great. It feels great. It's a blessing. It's
- 14:54Speaker 2: a blessing that the Lord has allowed me to be
- 14:58Speaker 2: the vessel to be used in this aspect. It is
- 15:03Speaker 2: a blessing, and you just don't know out of the
- 15:07Speaker 2: pain that I was in, thinking that no one needs
- 15:11Speaker 2: to know my business, but eventually sharing my business because,
- 15:19Speaker 2: you know, I had to be seen. I'm going to
- 15:24Speaker 2: work every day. I'm going to church. You know, I'm
- 15:28Speaker 2: being around people, and what affected me affected Some of my,
- 15:35Speaker 2: especially my close friends and everybody else that was around me,
- 15:39Speaker 2: the people that really loved me. So when I was hurting,
- 15:42Speaker 2: they were hurting as well. So it allowed me to say, okay, God,
- 15:49Speaker 2: I know you say it's bigger than me. So now
- 15:52Speaker 2: I see it. I see it and I feel it.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And I understand what I am here to do.
- 15:58Speaker 1: So.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Yes, and it's a blessing. I can't even say anything more, Cyrus.
- 16:05Speaker 2: It is a blessing. It's tremendous how God has allowed
- 16:10Speaker 2: me to move, strengthen the bond further.
- 16:16Speaker 1: So let's talk about then the balancing act, because you do,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you wear a lot of hats. You're also an educator, Melanie.
- 16:23Speaker 1: How do you refresh yourself? I think for an audience
- 16:26Speaker 1: out there that may feel like they're dealing with a
- 16:29Speaker 1: lot or juggling a lot, they sometimes wonder, okay, how
- 16:32Speaker 1: can I take time for myself? What helps Melanie to
- 16:36Speaker 1: be able to take that time?
- 16:40Speaker 2: This is something that I just recently started. At first
- 16:43Speaker 2: I was like, let me just go. Taking time for
- 16:45Speaker 2: myself means going to get a massage, spending time with myself, just,
- 16:50Speaker 2: you know, traveling and all of that. However, my son,
- 16:55Speaker 2: my youngest son made it so clear to me. He said, Mom,
- 16:59Speaker 2: since you're not married right now, go on a date.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Go on a date with God. He said, yes, it's
- 17:05Speaker 2: okay to go on a date. He said, but go
- 17:08Speaker 2: on a date just you and the Lord. You just
- 17:10Speaker 2: speak with the Lord and talk to the Lord and
- 17:13Speaker 2: just have him to pour into you and you just
- 17:16Speaker 2: pour into him, you know, and not ask for anything
- 17:20Speaker 2: when you're on your date with him. Just be there
- 17:22Speaker 2: and just communicate. So when I say that helps me,
- 17:28Speaker 2: just being able to pour back into myself to get replenished,
- 17:34Speaker 2: to be refilled, and just reconnecting, just being by myself sometimes. Yes,
- 17:41Speaker 2: I'd be with my friends. with my family members. I
- 17:45Speaker 2: love and love to travel. I've lived overseas. I travel overseas.
- 17:51Speaker 2: So I love traveling. But to just reconnect, I unplug.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Reconnecting to me is unplugging everything, not having my devices
- 18:04Speaker 2: with me, not having my laptops with me, just being
- 18:08Speaker 2: by myself, getting a hotel room, and just spending time
- 18:11Speaker 2: with myself and on a date with the Lord. So
- 18:15Speaker 2: I think that it helps pour back into me. It
- 18:20Speaker 2: helps give me the fuel and the energy that I
- 18:24Speaker 2: need so that I continue to do His work.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Great. Well, I love that. And I think that's such
- 18:32Speaker 1: a great thing, too. And I think, too, I love
- 18:34Speaker 1: what you said because, you know, I'm also one of
- 18:36Speaker 1: these people as a homebody who, Melanie, I'm not, even
- 18:39Speaker 1: though I travel and stuff for work, you know, I'm not,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I don't never have felt like I had to go
- 18:43Speaker 1: somewhere to actually be able to be by myself, right,
- 18:47Speaker 1: you know, and to be able to enjoy that time.
- 18:49Speaker 1: And as you mentioned, even here from God, I mean,
- 18:51Speaker 1: being able just to separate ourselves in a room sometimes,
- 18:54Speaker 1: away from the disturbances, the distractions, definitely is all we
- 18:58Speaker 1: need for sure. So as we talked about this decade
- 19:01Speaker 1: that you've been enjoying with Strength in the Bund, Melanie,
- 19:05Speaker 1: One of the things I've noticed this year you've been doing,
- 19:07Speaker 1: you've been back to doing your in-person events. Talk to
- 19:10Speaker 1: us about that. Did you always know that in-person was
- 19:14Speaker 1: something you wanted to do, and what has it been
- 19:15Speaker 1: like for you to see the benefits of that?
- 19:19Speaker 2: You know, I love in-person events. You can only do
- 19:23Speaker 2: so much via social media, but I want to be
- 19:28Speaker 2: able to not only– Do the social media?
- 19:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But I also want to be in the mix of everything.
- 19:36Speaker 2: I want to be able to talk with the people.
- 19:38Speaker 2: I want to have a connection with them because we're
- 19:42Speaker 2: not just, I'm not just talking with them. I am
- 19:46Speaker 2: building a relationship with them, relationships. of may it be
- 19:52Speaker 2: me coaching them, may it just be us standing there
- 19:56Speaker 2: talking together, communicating, us praying together. So I am enjoying that.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I'm very much so enjoying that just being able to
- 20:07Speaker 2: be there and being in the midst and getting, getting
- 20:12Speaker 2: back out there. Cause I had, I stopped for a minute,
- 20:14Speaker 2: well for about a year or so. And now it's like, okay,
- 20:20Speaker 2: I need to refuel and let me get back out
- 20:24Speaker 2: there so that I can also not only help those,
- 20:30Speaker 2: which helps me myself. So by me being doing the,
- 20:34Speaker 2: like the mother daughter hikes, and journal. That was so
- 20:38Speaker 2: passionate to me. I enjoyed being in the mountains with
- 20:43Speaker 2: those women and those mothers and those daughters. And some
- 20:47Speaker 2: mothers didn't have their daughters with them. Some daughters came
- 20:51Speaker 2: and didn't have their mothers with them. Some mothers, some
- 20:55Speaker 2: daughters came and their mothers were deceased. And they were
- 20:59Speaker 2: just there to just feel the love And I had
- 21:05Speaker 2: them not only to, we went hiking together and just
- 21:10Speaker 2: poured into each other. I gave them prompts. We listened
- 21:14Speaker 2: to music that got us motivated as we hiked the mountain.
- 21:19Speaker 2: And we also, after we prayed and we were able
- 21:23Speaker 2: to journal and to write about different experience, what it
- 21:27Speaker 2: felt like being out there, thinking about the conversation that
- 21:31Speaker 2: they had with their parents, mother, or the conversation that
- 21:34Speaker 2: they had with their daughter, or how can they reconnect
- 21:38Speaker 2: with their daughter or mother. So it was, Cyrus, when
- 21:42Speaker 2: I say it was amazing. So those events to me are,
- 21:47Speaker 2: they are much needed. They are much needed to bring
- 21:51Speaker 2: the family that much closer together.
- 21:55Speaker 1: So as we're in the last quarter of 2026, Melanie,
- 21:59Speaker 1: there's still no time left. What are you looking forward
- 22:02Speaker 1: to as you're wrapping up this year?
- 22:06Speaker 2: I am looking forward to doing a lot more things.
- 22:09Speaker 2: I'm working on now doing a mother-daughter prayer. And because
- 22:16Speaker 2: in May of next year, we're doing a mother-daughter retreat.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So that's Leading up to that, each month we're going
- 22:24Speaker 2: to do a mother-daughter prayer in the park where mothers
- 22:27Speaker 2: and daughters come together. And we're going to be praying
- 22:29Speaker 2: because mothers and daughters go through so many things. So
- 22:33Speaker 2: we're going to be praying. And we're going to be
- 22:35Speaker 2: celebrating mothers and daughters because not all mothers and daughters
- 22:38Speaker 2: have issues. So we're going to be celebrating those that
- 22:43Speaker 2: have great relationships as well. Also, we're going to be
- 22:48Speaker 2: doing some family events for the men, baseball. baseball captain bowling.
- 22:53Speaker 2: So this is going to be for the whole family,
- 22:55Speaker 2: for the men, the sons, for the whole family. And
- 23:00Speaker 2: it's so much stuff that I have going on, Cyrus,
- 23:03Speaker 2: and just the strategic partnership with organizations. That's something else
- 23:10Speaker 2: that I'm doing because I figured if you build a family,
- 23:14Speaker 2: if you coach and do organizational development you with the organization,
- 23:23Speaker 2: you're not only strengthening the individuals, you're strengthening the relationships.
- 23:29Speaker 2: You're strengthening the leaders. You're strengthening the families within that
- 23:35Speaker 2: organization because nine times out of 10, unless you are
- 23:40Speaker 2: not married or don't have any kids, you are, you
- 23:43Speaker 2: have a family, whether you have children or married or divorced,
- 23:46Speaker 2: you have a family, even if you have children. So
- 23:49Speaker 2: when you strengthen that you can strengthen the organization and
- 23:54Speaker 2: the family from the inside out. So building strategic partnerships
- 24:00Speaker 2: with them through our coaching and our leadership development and
- 24:04Speaker 2: our communication and conflict resolution is great. I'm loving it,
- 24:11Speaker 2: going out there, building strategic partnerships. So it's a lot.
- 24:16Speaker 2: When I say a lot going on, it's a lot
- 24:18Speaker 2: going on. And And even to make a long story short,
- 24:23Speaker 2: Strength in the Bond, you first just started off, okay,
- 24:26Speaker 2: Strength in the Bond, mothers and daughters, Strength in the Bond, okay.
- 24:28Speaker 2: But it's not just mothers and daughters, it's individuals. It's organization.
- 24:36Speaker 2: It's families. You're developing them. And you're, you know, resolving
- 24:42Speaker 2: different conflicts. You're giving them the tools to help the
- 24:46Speaker 2: people grow personally and professionally and from the inside out,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and I love every bit of it.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Well, it's exciting watching it all come together, Melanie, and
- 24:58Speaker 1: I know it's been great for you to see this
- 25:00Speaker 1: evolution over these past 10 years. Like you said, it
- 25:03Speaker 1: may not have seemed like it's been a decade, but
- 25:06Speaker 1: to be able to see how it started and where
- 25:08Speaker 1: you are today is truly inspiring. Again, everyone, Melanie D.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Phillips has been our guest. We've been talking with her
- 25:13Speaker 1: about what it's been like for her to build the
- 25:15Speaker 1: bond movement, but also, of course, to see how it's
- 25:18Speaker 1: evolved and also been able to embrace different individuals and
- 25:22Speaker 1: projects as well. Melanie, how can our audience stay connected
- 25:25Speaker 1: with you?
