Dueling Axes, the popular axe-throwing spot that launched in Columbus in 2018, has shut down all its locations—including spots in central Ohio, Cincinnati, and Vegas—with final doors closing July 31. The founders, heartbroken after eight years, blame external factors for the closure and are now focused on wrapping things up gracefully. While the brand is gone, the fun isn’t over: their mobile axe-throwing unit has found a new home at Square Canvas in Canal Winchester, where it’ll team up with a splatter-paint studio—and remain available for rent and events across central Ohio.
