- 0:21Speaker 1: Our buddy Frank Caliendo is in studio. It is great
- 0:23Speaker 1: to see him. He has three shows over the weekend,
- 0:26Speaker 1: Palm Beach Improv, one tonight, two tomorrow, Saturday. I'm going
- 0:30Speaker 1: to the early one Saturday. I have to get to
- 0:33Speaker 1: sleep early. Three shows over two nights. How are you, Frank?
- 0:36Speaker 2: You have to go to sleep early because you have
- 0:37Speaker 2: a show late on Monday. Classic Stugatzian thinking.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Don't you find that you go to bed earlier as
- 0:47Speaker 1: you get older?
- 0:49Speaker 3: I go to bed.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I'm on Gruden time, man. Gruden is always like, you know,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I get up at 3 in the morning every morning.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I'm like, what time do you go to bed? 6 p.m.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, that doesn't count. You don't get to
- 0:59Speaker 2: brag about your 3 a.m. wake up. That's a tinkle break.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That's what that is.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I have some things I want to talk to you about, but.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I was wondering, I've never asked you this, do you
- 1:09Speaker 1: get nervous before you go on stage?
- 1:11Speaker 2: Not really. I mean, there might be a show or something,
- 1:13Speaker 2: like sometimes TV a little bit.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:15Speaker 2: But not so much a show on stage. Maybe a
- 1:19Speaker 2: corporate event because it's so big and you want them
- 1:21Speaker 2: to be really happy.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:23Speaker 2: But when you're there for a show that people are
- 1:26Speaker 2: all there and paying to see you, it's already... You
- 1:29Speaker 2: feel welcomed.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Right, because you were texting me as you were going
- 1:33Speaker 1: out on stage, and I'm like, man, I'd be a
- 1:34Speaker 1: nervous fucking wreck if I was doing this. Oh, no, no, no, no.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that was in Chicago last week. Not my hometown.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I grew up in Milwaukee, but along with the Italians
- 1:46Speaker 2: I'm not allowed to talk about anymore, they're all from Chicago.
- 1:49Speaker 1: By the way, the people of Palm Beach would prefer
- 1:51Speaker 1: if your shows were earlier.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Well, you know what?
- 1:54Speaker 1: Know your audience, right?
- 1:56Speaker 2: I like the early shows. As I get older, my
- 1:59Speaker 2: audience gets older, too. And some young people are like,
- 2:01Speaker 2: why are the shows so early? I go, because your
- 2:03Speaker 2: parents are coming, too.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Why were you, when you walked in here, by the way,
- 2:09Speaker 1: you stressed me out. You're like, I'll be there in
- 2:11Speaker 1: eight minutes. I'll be there in seven minutes. I'll be
- 2:13Speaker 1: there in six minutes. And I'm like, I'm not going anywhere.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Stop stressing me out. But when you walked in, you
- 2:17Speaker 1: were filled with stress. You're on the phone with Tesla.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm going back and forth. I just bought a new one.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I love the car. And we had them put the
- 2:26Speaker 2: garage door opener. For some reason, the garage door opener
- 2:29Speaker 2: doesn't come with it, which I couldn't care less about.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Because I love the cars. And then after they fix something,
- 2:36Speaker 2: now there's like this smell of maybe plastic or something.
- 2:40Speaker 2: But I'm not home to do it. My wife is
- 2:43Speaker 2: texting me, who I wouldn't believe. I think she's making
- 2:45Speaker 2: it up. But my son verified it.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Validated it.
- 2:48Speaker 2: He validated that there is a real problem. with that,
- 2:52Speaker 2: that it smells like, but then I'm texting back and
- 2:55Speaker 2: forth in the app on Tesla and saying, Hey, is there, uh,
- 2:59Speaker 2: you know, there's a, well, we don't think anything happened
- 3:01Speaker 2: when we fixed what we just fixed. I'm like, I
- 3:04Speaker 2: don't care about that. Is it going to blow up?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Is there a chance that it could blow up? I
- 3:09Speaker 2: don't need, you know, Elon, you know, uh, it seemed
- 3:11Speaker 2: like there was going to be something. Um, okay. Um,
- 3:14Speaker 2: you're like, he's on Joe Rogan's like, wow.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Oh my God. Pull what Jamie pull up that Tesla
- 3:18Speaker 3: blowing up.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And then we are, okay.
- 3:23Speaker 1: There's a Madden in there somewhere.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a little bit of South African here.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Lost a little bit here.
- 3:33Speaker 2: We have so many great people.
- 3:34Speaker 5: We've got so many great people here, the best people.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I mean, not just two guts, and I'm doing quiet Trump.
- 3:39Speaker 5: We've got a very quiet Trump. We've got to be very,
- 3:41Speaker 5: very quiet.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'm hunting rabbits.
- 3:43Speaker 5: But we're doing so many great things. We've got so
- 3:45Speaker 5: many great people. We've got the great, Mayor McCheese, have
- 3:47Speaker 5: you heard of him? He's doing a great job over
- 3:49Speaker 5: there at McDonald's. Mayor McCheese, Officer Big Mac, and Elon McMuffin.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They all do a good job. Frank, it delighted me.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I know what you're going at.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Well, nothing has made me happier today. A little birdie
- 4:04Speaker 1: told me that your name popped up in the Epstein files.
- 4:10Speaker 1: And if there's a file you don't want your name
- 4:11Speaker 1: popping up in, I'm guessing that, well, go ahead.
- 4:15Speaker 2: You don't talk about it if you're in there for
- 4:16Speaker 2: bad reasons, right? Not that there's anything good about it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You don't offer it up to anyone, yes. But there is.
- 4:22Speaker 2: So when that stuff came out, my son, my wife
- 4:26Speaker 2: texts me and goes, Joey has something to tell you,
- 4:28Speaker 2: my son. I go, what? She goes, he's just got
- 4:30Speaker 2: to tell you. So he goes, he texts me, you
- 4:33Speaker 2: know the, because we're standing next to each other, but
- 4:35Speaker 2: my son's still texting me. He's like, you know the
- 4:38Speaker 2: Epstein files? I'm like, yeah, I've heard them. He goes,
- 4:39Speaker 2: do you think you're in them?
- 4:40Speaker 6: I'm like, what?
- 4:42Speaker 2: And when I was at the Palm Beach Improv. What
- 4:45Speaker 2: a question.
- 4:46Speaker 5: The old Palm Beach Improv, not the new one, which
- 4:49Speaker 5: is tremendous. A lot of people talking about the new
- 4:51Speaker 5: Palm Beach Improv in Wellington.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You're going to name it after yourself, aren't you?
- 4:55Speaker 2: Apparently, Jeffrey Epstein.
- 4:58Speaker 5: We have got the airport, and now we're going to
- 5:00Speaker 5: have a comedy club. We're going to combine the two.
- 5:02Speaker 5: We're going to have a comedy club airport. Then we're
- 5:04Speaker 5: going to have a helipad. A helipad, and we're going
- 5:06Speaker 5: to take LeBron James to all his games, even though.
- 5:08Speaker 2: He doesn't like me. Even though he doesn't like me. Uh, so,
- 5:12Speaker 2: so he Googled or he looked at justice.gov, searched my
- 5:16Speaker 2: name in the Epstein files and there I popped up
- 5:19Speaker 2: because they were Epstein and his cronies bought tickets and
- 5:23Speaker 2: came to a show.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And they were deciding whether to come to the early
- 5:27Speaker 2: show like you.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I only know the early show.
- 5:30Speaker 2: The early show. They weren't coming to the late show.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And the funny, not funny, the, the terrible thing on the,
- 5:35Speaker 2: on the ticket says 18 and over.
- 5:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So I've got these tickets on, it's on justice.gov. It's me,
- 5:43Speaker 2: my name on there. And you know, people, you know,
- 5:46Speaker 2: people are like, are you worried about, I'm like, no,
- 5:48Speaker 2: I talk about it.
- 5:49Speaker 8: Right.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Because if I didn't talk about it, then I'd have
- 5:51Speaker 2: the problem.
- 5:51Speaker 9: Yes.
- 5:52Speaker 2: It's the people who don't want you to know they're
- 5:53Speaker 2: in there, but I was in there.
- 5:56Speaker 1: So it's an email exchange between Jeffrey and friends saying,
- 6:00Speaker 1: are we going to the Late Show?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Whoever, yeah. And then there's a ticket with his name
- 6:05Speaker 2: printed on it, Jeffrey Epstein.
- 6:07Speaker 3: And it's real.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Right.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Because it's not just a picture. It's on justice.gov. And
- 6:11Speaker 2: it's creepy, but at the same time, you know, kind
- 6:14Speaker 2: of like, okay.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I never thought I'd find any sort of laughter within
- 6:19Speaker 1: the Epstein files. Yet here we are.
- 6:21Speaker 5: And everybody knows it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And I'm still terrified to laugh.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Yeah, right? It's creepy, but you're like, okay. Like I said.
- 6:29Speaker 2: If you're in there for the wrong reasons, but if
- 6:31Speaker 2: you're in there tangentially, you're like, eh, okay, I.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Can deal with it. Did you save the ticket, a screenshot?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Are you honored?
- 6:37Speaker 2: You can just look it up anytime you want. There's
- 6:40Speaker 2: only so many things that are blacked out.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Wait, so what show was he supposed to come to?
- 6:46Speaker 2: I'd have to look and see.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Did he come to the show, or was it over
- 6:50Speaker 1: by then?
- 6:50Speaker 2: I don't know, wink. No, I honestly don't know. But
- 6:54Speaker 2: here's the creepy, even creepier thing. I think that was the,
- 6:59Speaker 2: it was on my, I didn't even notice this, but
- 7:01Speaker 2: I think it's on my son's birthday and my family
- 7:04Speaker 2: was with me.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:05Speaker 2: So that was, that's even creepy.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I don't know if that was the, maybe that was
- 7:10Speaker 2: the email. I don't know if that was the email
- 7:12Speaker 2: or the date they came, but it's so weird to
- 7:14Speaker 2: see his name on a ticket and then my name
- 7:17Speaker 2: and then in email exchanges going, are we going to
- 7:19Speaker 2: the late show Caliendo or the early show Caliendo?
- 7:21Speaker 1: The weird thing is seeing your name in the Epstein files. Yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Could be worse, or could it? Not really.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't think it could. At least he was a fan, though.
- 7:38Speaker 2: And I didn't think it could get worse, and it
- 7:41Speaker 2: just did. How did I become the creepy one on
- 7:43Speaker 2: your show?
- 7:44Speaker 1: I don't know. How did that happen?
- 7:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Listen, Palm Beach Improv.
- 7:48Speaker 2: That's what happens when they do a stugach.
- 7:50Speaker 3: What you gonna do?
- 7:51Speaker 1: One show tonight, two shows on Saturday, Palm Beach Improv.
- 7:56Speaker 1: You know I love the movie Independence Day. Yes. Okay?
- 7:59Speaker 1: And so I have put a speech in front of you,
- 8:01Speaker 1: the famous speech by Bill Pullman, but I always wondered
- 8:04Speaker 1: what that speech would sound like had they cast Al
- 8:07Speaker 1: Pacino as the role of President of the United States
- 8:10Speaker 1: of America. Good morning.
- 8:13Speaker 4: In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join
- 8:17Speaker 4: others from around the world, and you will be launching
- 8:21Speaker 4: the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. Mankind.
- 8:28Speaker 4: That word should have new meaning for all of us today.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Robert De Niro.
- 8:34Speaker 2: We cannot be consumed by our petty differences anymore. No,
- 8:38Speaker 2: we cannot. I'm adding little bits here. Little bits.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Do whatever you want.
- 8:43Speaker 2: We will be united in our common interest. Perhaps it's
- 8:47Speaker 2: fake that today is the 4th of July. And you
- 8:50Speaker 2: will once again be fighting for our freedom.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Mel Kiper.
- 8:53Speaker 7: Talk about tyranny. Not from any tyranny, oppression, or persecution,
- 8:58Speaker 7: but from annihilation. We're fighting for our right to live,
- 9:04Speaker 7: to exist. And at the end of the day, we
- 9:06Speaker 7: should win the day. The 4th of July will no
- 9:09Speaker 7: longer be known as an American holiday, but as the
- 9:12Speaker 7: day when the world declared in one voice, we will
- 9:16Speaker 7: not go quietly into the night and also eat as
- 9:19Speaker 7: many hot dogs as possible.
- 9:20Speaker 10: Possible john gruden i tell you what man i'm thinking
- 9:23Speaker 10: about those hot dogs there we will not vanish this
- 9:27Speaker 10: actually would be pretty good as a group man yes
- 9:29Speaker 10: we will not vanish without a.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Fight yeah i almost want you to start over and
- 9:34Speaker 1: do the entire thing probably.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Gonna man we're gonna live on We're going to survive.
- 9:40Speaker 7: Today we celebrate our Independence Day. Let's start this thing over.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Let's do a little Robin Williams. Doing the reverse thing.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 9:51Speaker 7: In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join
- 9:54Speaker 7: others from around the world, and we will be launching
- 9:57Speaker 7: the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Mankind, man!
- 10:04Speaker 7: That's one word that should have a new meaning for
- 10:08Speaker 7: all of us today. We can't be consumed by our
- 10:11Speaker 7: petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interest.
- 10:15Speaker 7: Perhaps it's fate that today is the 4th of July, man.
- 10:19Speaker 7: And you will once again be fighting.
- 10:22Speaker 1: For our freedom.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution, but.
- 10:27Speaker 7: From annihilation, man. We're fighting for our right to live,
- 10:31Speaker 7: to exist. And should we win the day, the 4th
- 10:35Speaker 7: of July will no longer be known as an American holiday.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I love America, man.
- 10:40Speaker 7: But as the day when the world declared in one voice,
- 10:44Speaker 7: we will not go quietly into the night. We will
- 10:46Speaker 7: not vanish without a fight. We're going to live on.
- 10:49Speaker 7: We're going to survive. Today, we will celebrate. Spider 2
- 10:56Speaker 7: Y Banana Man.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It was better as gridded.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Independence Day. I'll tell you what.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Listen, we'd have kicked those aliens' asses if we had
- 11:04Speaker 7: Spider 2-Y Banana back.
- 11:06Speaker 2: They're running Tampa 3. Come on, man.
- 11:10Speaker 7: What are we going to do? We're on Spider 2-Y.
- 11:12Speaker 7: You know who the primary is on Spider 2-Y Banana?
- 11:15Speaker 9: Who?
- 11:15Speaker 1: The fullback, man! It's the fullback! I'm tempted to have
- 11:21Speaker 1: you do it as every character. I just want to
- 11:23Speaker 1: hear the first line and what it would sound like
- 11:25Speaker 1: if Bill Walton did it.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 11:27Speaker 7: How great is this? It's actually not great at all.
- 11:31Speaker 7: In less than an hour, which will be the time
- 11:34Speaker 7: I get to the middle of the speech, aircraft from
- 11:37Speaker 7: here will join others from around the world and you'll
- 11:40Speaker 7: be launching the largest serial battle in the history of...
- 11:43Speaker 7: of Western civilization and mankind.
- 11:46Speaker 9: All right.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'm just trying it out to see how it sounds.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Two shows, Palm Beach Improv. He has one tonight. He
- 11:51Speaker 1: has two tomorrow. Jim Rome, just doing the first sentence.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Good morning. What is up?
- 11:57Speaker 7: In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join
- 12:00Speaker 7: others from around the world, and you'll be launching the
- 12:02Speaker 7: largest aerial battle in the history of mankind.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Mankind.
- 12:07Speaker 2: What a great word.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Do you think that speech would, like if Morgan Freeman
- 12:12Speaker 1: did it, it'd be more controlled. I'm not certain it
- 12:14Speaker 1: would get the troops pumped up, but I'd like to
- 12:16Speaker 1: hear it anyway.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 12:19Speaker 4: In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join
- 12:22Speaker 4: others from around the world and we will be launching
- 12:24Speaker 4: the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind.
- 12:28Speaker 7: Mankind.
- 12:30Speaker 2: That word should have new meaning for all of us today.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Freeman's actually perfect.
- 12:35Speaker 2: It's quite good. I did play the president.
- 12:38Speaker 1: My wife loves your Freeman the most. That's her favorite character.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Ah, well, she's an ex-lady.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Who also wants to go to the early show on Saturday.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Oh, the early show on Beach and Pop.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Way to promote it, buddy.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Morgan, I'm sorry.
- 12:51Speaker 1: No problem, sir. Can we try it out one more time?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Let's try.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Adam Sandler. Hey, good morning. In less than an hour,
- 12:58Speaker 2: guess what? Aircraft from here will join others from around
- 13:01Speaker 2: the world, and you will be launching the largest aerial
- 13:03Speaker 2: battle in the history of mankind.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Mankind!
- 13:09Speaker 2: That word should have new meaning for all of us today. Hey,
- 13:11Speaker 2: we're going to be something different when the aliens come
- 13:14Speaker 2: and get us.
- 13:15Speaker 1: The aliens are trying to get us, but Will.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Smith is going to save us.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Three shows, two nights, Palm Beach Improv. I have another
- 13:24Speaker 1: movie script for you. You can put that one down.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Are you tired?
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm good there.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Okay. Do you like the movie Miracle? Have you seen
- 13:30Speaker 1: that one?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:31Speaker 1: You're familiar with Herb Brooks' speech to the guys before
- 13:34Speaker 1: they went out and played Russia, right?
- 13:35Speaker 7: Yes.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Okay, so who do you think is the best? character
- 13:38Speaker 1: to do this one.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Oh, the best character.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I was thinking I would like to hear if John
- 13:42Speaker 1: Madden were a hockey coach instead of a football coach.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Great moments are born from great opportunity. That's what you
- 13:49Speaker 4: have here tonight, boys. That's what you've earned here tonight.
- 13:52Speaker 1: One game.
- 13:53Speaker 2: If we played them 10 games... They might win nine.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, nine out of ten.
- 13:57Speaker 4: That's like those dentists on those, you know, those toothpaste commercials.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Nine out of ten dentists recommend. Where are the other ones?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Where are the other dentists who recommend this?
- 14:06Speaker 1: Where's the one?
- 14:06Speaker 8: Yes.
- 14:07Speaker 4: I mean, if we played them ten times. But not
- 14:10Speaker 4: this game. Not tonight. Tonight we skate with them. You know, tonight.
- 14:15Speaker 4: We stay with them, and we shut them down because,
- 14:17Speaker 4: I'll tell you what, because we care.
- 14:19Speaker 7: Boom!
- 14:20Speaker 1: All right, my producer is in my ear and is
- 14:22Speaker 1: demanding because he thinks it's the best voice, it's the
- 14:25Speaker 1: best character for the Miracle Speech. He wants to hear
- 14:29Speaker 1: it as Mel Kuyper.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Talk about tonight.
- 14:31Speaker 7: We are the greatest hockey team in the history of
- 14:35Speaker 7: the entire world. You're born to be hockey players, every
- 14:39Speaker 7: one of you, and you're meant to be here tonight.
- 14:42Speaker 7: This is your time. Their time is done. And at
- 14:46Speaker 7: the end of the day, it's over for the bad
- 14:48Speaker 7: guys because we're the good guys. And I'm sick and
- 14:50Speaker 7: tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the
- 14:53Speaker 7: Soviets have.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Screw them.
- 14:55Speaker 2: This is your time. Now go out there and take
- 14:57Speaker 2: it to them.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Pod, pod, pod, pod, pod, pod.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Pod's a bitch.
- 15:01Speaker 1: All right, last one. I know you're exhausted. You're about
- 15:05Speaker 1: to sip that coffee. But the last few lines of
- 15:10Speaker 1: the miracle speech is Al Pacino.
- 15:12Speaker 4: And you were meant to be here tonight. This is
- 15:16Speaker 4: your time. Their time is done.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It's over.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great
- 15:23Speaker 2: hockey team the Soviets have.
- 15:25Speaker 11: Screw him! This is your time! Now go out there
- 15:30Speaker 11: and take it! It was just the screw him that
- 15:35Speaker 11: I wanted. I want to hear every character do screw him.
- 15:39Speaker 11: Screw him, man!
- 15:41Speaker 2: Screw him!
- 15:41Speaker 1: Boom!
- 15:42Speaker 2: Hey, you got to screw him! Back to the matter is,
- 15:46Speaker 2: screw him. I believe, I got to go Paul Giamatti
- 15:50Speaker 2: on it. I believe we're going to have to screw him. Yes,
- 15:54Speaker 2: of course. Do you want to?
- 15:57Speaker 3: Ah, yes, of course. Screw them.
- 15:59Speaker 8: Ooh, yes.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Why, why, why?
- 16:01Speaker 3: Because, oh, how about a little Seth Rogen?
- 16:03Speaker 1: Oh, screw him. Where did that come from? I don't know.
- 16:07Speaker 3: It was hiding in here. How about John C.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Reilly?
- 16:12Speaker 3: Great moments are born from great opportunities. You know that?
- 16:16Speaker 6: And that's what you have here tonight, boys. That's what
- 16:18Speaker 6: you've earned here tonight. One game, if we played them
- 16:21Speaker 6: ten times, they might win nine. But not this game,
- 16:23Speaker 6: not tonight. Tonight we skate with them. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Screw them. This is your time, though. Go out there
- 16:31Speaker 6: and take it. Did you touch my hockey stick?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Romo.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Oh, Jim. Jim, screw him, Jim. And I'm not talking
- 16:46Speaker 2: about the Soviets.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Barkley.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Screw these knuckleheads, man. The Soviets are terrible.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Bush.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Screwificate them, man.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Trump.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Well, we're talking about screwing them. You know, there's a
- 17:06Speaker 5: bunch of bad guys. And we're the good guys. There's
- 17:09Speaker 5: the good guys and the bad guys. And you know
- 17:10Speaker 5: what you say to the bad guys?
- 17:12Speaker 2: Screw them.
- 17:14Speaker 1: That's actually what he does.
- 17:17Speaker 2: And now I'm going to go name something after me.
- 17:20Speaker 1: The Palm Beach Improv.
- 17:22Speaker 12: The Trump Palm Beach Improv right next to Donald Trump
- 17:27Speaker 12: National Airport. It's DJT National Airport right here in the
- 17:32Speaker 12: Gulf of Trump.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Can I hear, did we do Rome on Screw Em?
- 17:37Speaker 7: Screw Em.
- 17:44Speaker 1: I just say Screw Em. Bill Walton, Screw Em.
- 17:49Speaker 7: This is the greatest screwing in the history of Western civilization.
- 17:53Speaker 1: God, I love you so much.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, man, that was fun.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Can I hear Jim Rome just say Screw Em?
- 17:57Speaker 3: Screw Em.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Incredible.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Phenomenal. Just Screw Em.
- 18:04Speaker 1: De Niro?
- 18:05Speaker 2: Screw them.
- 18:06Speaker 6: Huh?
- 18:09Speaker 2: Screw them. Is that what you're looking for?
- 18:11Speaker 1: That's the face that gets me every time. That's what
- 18:12Speaker 1: you were looking for? Screw them.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Screw them.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Screw you.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Screw you, Russians.
- 18:17Speaker 8: Huh?
- 18:18Speaker 7: Huh?
- 18:19Speaker 1: Huh?
- 18:20Speaker 3: You hear me?
- 18:21Speaker 2: You hear me?
- 18:22Speaker 3: KGB, of course you hear me.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Because you're the KGB. You hear me?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Nick Cage is mad and screw him.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Screw him.
- 18:33Speaker 1: It's amazing, Frank.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Do you believe in miracles?
- 18:36Speaker 4: Yes!
- 18:38Speaker 1: How did the Nick Cage's Madden from the movie, obviously.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, because they.
- 18:43Speaker 1: But how do you do it? Like, how do you get.
- 18:45Speaker 2: It's really just Nicolas Cage, and you just list him
- 18:47Speaker 2: in the movie. He's Nicolas Cage during the John Madden.
- 18:51Speaker 7: Boom!
- 18:52Speaker 2: Tough actin' to an actin'. Gets rid of it.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Frank Galeando, he has three shows down here over two nights.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Bomb Beach Improv. One on Friday and two on Saturday.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Thank you for doing this. I'm sorry your name appeared
- 19:06Speaker 1: in the Epstein files. And I apologize about your Tesla.
- 19:11Speaker 1: I do love the idea that you need your son
- 19:14Speaker 1: to validate your wife's opinion on the car.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Man, there's a lot of truth to that. I got
- 19:18Speaker 2: to get my Elon Musk even better. Then I should
- 19:20Speaker 2: send the message to Tesla, ask Elon. There's a lot
- 19:23Speaker 2: of him.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You've given me ideas here now. I can have celebrities
- 19:30Speaker 1: call for things on my behalf. Just make me a reservation.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 19:37Speaker 5: We're going to need to put it under a secret name.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Don't put it under my name. Put it under Stugatz.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Frank, do you get tired doing this? How long before
- 19:45Speaker 1: you get tired?
- 19:46Speaker 2: Once the shows are sold out, I'm tired. Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 1: So before they come out to see you. Okay.
- 19:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Make them tired, everyone. Buy tickets. Palm Beach Improv. He
- 19:57Speaker 1: has shows tonight and two shows on Saturday. Thank you
- 20:00Speaker 1: for doing this. Great to see you, buddy.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Great to see you, my man.
- 20:02Speaker 8: Yes.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Joining us now is Baltimore Ravens safety Jalen Hawkins. Jalen
- 20:17Speaker 1: is part of a Ravens defense that comes into the
- 20:19Speaker 1: season with high expectations. They always do. They're coming off
- 20:22Speaker 1: a 24-18 win this past weekend against Tennessee. Jalen, great
- 20:27Speaker 1: to have you with us. What are you eating, man?
- 20:29Speaker 13: I'm eating yogurt and other. Shout out Seggies. Seggies yogurt.
- 20:32Speaker 13: One of my favorites. Seggies or Seggies? I don't know
- 20:34Speaker 13: how you say it, but like.
- 20:36Speaker 9: One of my favorite brands. One of my favorite snacks.
- 20:41Speaker 1: What's your favorite flavor for yogurt? I go vanilla.
- 20:44Speaker 13: I go vanilla, too. But then it's like, I go strawberry, though.
- 20:48Speaker 13: You know what I'm saying?
- 20:49Speaker 1: I like strawberry a lot, too.
- 20:55Speaker 9: Look it up.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Now, when you really want to eat, I know that's, listen,
- 20:58Speaker 1: you're in season, you got to stay in shape. But
- 21:00Speaker 1: what is the perfect meal for you, Jalen?
- 21:04Speaker 9: Some tacos. Tacos. Some street tacos from Cali.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Really?
- 21:09Speaker 13: Yeah, some street tacos, cilantro, onion, green sauce.
- 21:16Speaker 9: Beans and rice.
- 21:18Speaker 13: Yeah, Mexican food, me and Mexican food is like, man.
- 21:24Speaker 1: So do you go like three tacos, two carne, one chicken?
- 21:27Speaker 1: How do you do it? Like how do we go
- 21:28Speaker 1: about this when you order?
- 21:29Speaker 9: I go four. I go four, two carne, two pollo.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yes.
- 21:33Speaker 9: You know what I'm saying? Throw that on there.
- 21:35Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 21:36Speaker 9: Yeah, some chips and guac.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Jalen, how is Lamar feeling? I know you haven't been
- 21:44Speaker 1: asked that too often, but I'm wondering just how is
- 21:46Speaker 1: your quarterback feeling?
- 21:49Speaker 9: He's good.
- 21:50Speaker 13: I'm pretty sure he's good. Last time I seen him
- 21:53Speaker 13: was the other day. He's good.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You expecting to play with him this weekend, or what
- 21:58Speaker 1: do you think?
- 22:01Speaker 9: It's about my pay grade to answer that. I don't know.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I'm putting you in a bad spot.
- 22:06Speaker 13: I don't really know too much what's going on, but,
- 22:10Speaker 13: you know, we're just going to let that question be
- 22:13Speaker 13: the question.
- 22:13Speaker 1: That was very well done. He goes right back to
- 22:17Speaker 1: the yogurt and granola.
- 22:20Speaker 14: Jalen, I was a fan of you last year on
- 22:21Speaker 14: the Patriots because my roommate in North Carolina was Mack Hollins,
- 22:24Speaker 14: and I kind of just root for whatever team he's on.
- 22:28Speaker 14: You signed with the Ravens this offseason. What led to
- 22:30Speaker 14: your decision signing with the Ravens and trusting your future
- 22:34Speaker 14: with Coach Minnert?
- 22:37Speaker 13: You know, just going through it, going through that process, man.
- 22:40Speaker 13: Weighing out options, obviously. Seeing, you know, how much this
- 22:44Speaker 13: team and this franchise historically has been great and seeing just,
- 22:48Speaker 13: you know, what they're working towards.
- 22:50Speaker 9: You know, I was just like, man, I want to
- 22:51Speaker 9: be a part of that and help that out. You
- 22:53Speaker 9: know what I'm saying? Which is obviously the pinnacle of
- 22:54Speaker 9: the Super Bowl to win. So.
- 22:58Speaker 9: Yeah, man, that's what it was. Prayed about it, and
- 23:01Speaker 9: now we're here.
- 23:03Speaker 13: You know, been a season of a long season, you know,
- 23:08Speaker 13: just getting started. So, plan on, you know, week in,
- 23:11Speaker 13: week out, you know, doing what we got to do
- 23:13Speaker 13: to win.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Is there a hit that you've made in your career
- 23:17Speaker 1: that you're proudest of that stands out for you, that
- 23:19Speaker 1: you think about it all the time? Like, man, I
- 23:21Speaker 1: got that guy good.
- 23:24Speaker 9: I got a couple hits, but, like, It was when
- 23:26Speaker 9: I was younger, but they're illegal, though. You know what
- 23:29Speaker 9: I'm saying? I got thrown out the game, though.
- 23:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:33Speaker 9: Like, I got thrown out the game. That's when I
- 23:35Speaker 9: was in college, though.
- 23:36Speaker 13: I had a pretty good hit this past, well, in Dallas.
- 23:41Speaker 13: I met somebody in the hole. I got a pretty good,
- 23:43Speaker 13: pretty good, pretty good hit about a week ago in Brazil.
- 23:47Speaker 13: But other than that, man, I just, you know, hit,
- 23:51Speaker 13: try to make sure I'm in the strike zone, try
- 23:53Speaker 13: to make sure, you know, I don't get penalized or
- 23:56Speaker 13: like if I don't get, I don't get thrown out
- 23:57Speaker 13: the game or anything like that or fine now.
- 23:59Speaker 9: Now it's fine.
- 24:00Speaker 8: Right.
- 24:01Speaker 9: Yeah. I would say that. Yeah.
- 24:07Speaker 15: Jalen, one of my favorite things to ask defensive players
- 24:09Speaker 15: when they join us is who's the toughest guy to tackle.
- 24:12Speaker 15: And a lot of answers we get are Derrick Henry
- 24:15Speaker 15: and Lamar Jackson, who just both happen to be on
- 24:18Speaker 15: your team. What's it like going up against them every
- 24:20Speaker 15: day in practice and thankful that you're not going up
- 24:23Speaker 15: against them on Sundays?
- 24:24Speaker 13: Oh, man, those dudes are crazy. Like, those dudes are,
- 24:27Speaker 13: you know, generational talents, man. Lamar, obviously, you see what
- 24:30Speaker 13: he does every Sunday. You see how he moves, how
- 24:32Speaker 13: twitchy he is. Like, that's one of a kind right there.
- 24:35Speaker 13: And then he can throw. He's a playmaker. And especially, like,
- 24:40Speaker 13: being a defensive player, playing against that caliber of player
- 24:43Speaker 13: is kind of tough.
- 24:44Speaker 9: It's hard to play him. Plan out for that.
- 24:46Speaker 13: And then when you play Derek, it's like, damn, you
- 24:47Speaker 13: have to come up with a whole tackling plan. And
- 24:52Speaker 13: you got to make sure you don't get stiff on
- 24:54Speaker 13: or ran over. You know, so you got to figure out,
- 24:59Speaker 13: you know, which body part you can grab because he's
- 25:02Speaker 13: coming downhill and he's like a freight train.
- 25:04Speaker 9: So I would just say, man, those two guys right there, man.
- 25:09Speaker 13: And then not only that, man, just the people, like
- 25:11Speaker 13: the type of person they are, like, Really good people, man. Genuine, cool, kind.
- 25:15Speaker 13: Walk around the facility, talk to everybody. Work hard, you know,
- 25:19Speaker 13: day in and day out. So I got a number
- 25:22Speaker 13: of respect for them.
- 25:23Speaker 3: So who's the hardest guy to tackle?
- 25:25Speaker 9: Who's the hardest guy to tackle? Back to the question.
- 25:28Speaker 9: You know, I got to talk to my teammates.
- 25:29Speaker 1: There you go. Yes.
- 25:31Speaker 13: Somebody who's shifty and, like, I mean, I'll say De'Han.
- 25:36Speaker 13: De'Han for sure is, like, one of the hardest guys
- 25:38Speaker 13: to tackle.
- 25:38Speaker 9: Right. I mean, playing against him, that was pretty tough.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe Gibbs or someone like that. Go ahead, Taylor.
- 25:43Speaker 14: Jaylen, you mentioned that Cowboys game. It was probably the
- 25:46Speaker 14: game of the year so far, that game in Rio.
- 25:49Speaker 14: I'm trying to workshop a take, and I would love
- 25:51Speaker 14: your support as a defensive player. The only thing prevent
- 25:54Speaker 14: defense does is prevent your team from winning.
- 26:00Speaker 9: I mean, it depends how you coach it, though.
- 26:02Speaker 13: Right. I feel like it just, I mean, I don't
- 26:05Speaker 13: know how they coach it, but it just depends how
- 26:06Speaker 13: you coach it. That prevent D, how deep you are,
- 26:12Speaker 13: the depth that you have, you know, because obviously you're
- 26:15Speaker 13: trying to protect. And it also depends what you're trying
- 26:17Speaker 13: to protect. You know, I think in that situation, they're
- 26:21Speaker 13: trying to protect the touchdown more than the field goal.
- 26:24Speaker 13: So they may be a little too far back. So
- 26:26Speaker 13: I don't know. I feel like it just depends how
- 26:29Speaker 13: you coach it.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Were you nervous before you played in the Super Bowl
- 26:32Speaker 1: last year?
- 26:33Speaker 9: A little bit. Yeah, it was a little bit. I mean,
- 26:36Speaker 9: it was a little jitters, man. A little bit. I
- 26:38Speaker 9: was more, I'm not sure, like, excited. But I was
- 26:41Speaker 9: still chilling. I was chilling, though.
- 26:42Speaker 13: Like, I was as nervous as I thought I was
- 26:44Speaker 13: going to be.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Right.
- 26:45Speaker 9: And then, obviously, when I got to the game, I
- 26:48Speaker 9: was vibing.
- 26:48Speaker 13: And then, like, I think what really kind of gets
- 26:51Speaker 13: you is, like, you know, the longer intro, the longer
- 26:58Speaker 13: Pledge of Elite, National Anthem, stuff like that. You're kind
- 27:00Speaker 13: of just sitting there, like, okay, when we... When are
- 27:03Speaker 13: we going to get going? When are we going to
- 27:05Speaker 13: get going? You know, I think that's what kind of
- 27:07Speaker 13: gets you. But, yeah, no, I was really excited. I
- 27:09Speaker 13: had some jitters.
- 27:10Speaker 9: Right.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Do you prefer a 1 o'clock game, a 4 o'clock game?
- 27:13Speaker 1: 6.30 seems way too late. Like, you have to wait
- 27:15Speaker 1: around all day, man. That's too much, right?
- 27:17Speaker 9: Four. I like four.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You like four? Yeah.
- 27:20Speaker 9: Four is smoother.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Four is smoother. Why do you like four over one?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Four allows you just to– yeah, go ahead.
- 27:26Speaker 13: You can sleep in. Before you can sleep in, got
- 27:29Speaker 13: to push back a little bit. You got some extra time,
- 27:31Speaker 13: you know, look at things, do what you want to do.
- 27:34Speaker 13: And then, you know, it's kind of at a good
- 27:36Speaker 13: mid spot, you know, when you're done with the game,
- 27:38Speaker 13: it's not too late.
- 27:40Speaker 9: So I like for it.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Should Patriot fans be behind Drake May? You played with
- 27:44Speaker 1: Drake May. So he took you to a Super Bowl.
- 27:47Speaker 1: You guys all went to a Super Bowl together. And
- 27:49Speaker 1: Patriot fans have been getting on him, although he played
- 27:51Speaker 1: better last week in beating Buffalo and Josh Allen on
- 27:54Speaker 1: the road. Patriot fans should stay loyal to that kid, right?
- 27:57Speaker 1: He's going to be great. Do you agree?
- 27:59Speaker 13: Yeah, most def, most def, man. Nothing but love for
- 28:02Speaker 13: that dude. And respect, you know, just as him as
- 28:05Speaker 13: a player, person, everything, man. That kid has obviously a
- 28:09Speaker 13: bright future. And, you know, just because, you know, everybody
- 28:13Speaker 13: has hiccups, you know. It's the list. It's part of
- 28:16Speaker 13: being a professional athlete. It's part of being an athlete.
- 28:20Speaker 13: Can't be perfect. So, and I know him. He, you know,
- 28:23Speaker 13: he has the strong, you know, will to bounce back.
- 28:27Speaker 13: And I know he's confident and obviously he's hella talented.
- 28:30Speaker 13: So yeah, they're for sure to stay around him. I
- 28:32Speaker 13: don't see no reason to switching up. Like why switch
- 28:35Speaker 13: up on somebody based off a couple of games? You know,
- 28:37Speaker 13: that's kind of weird, but you know, that's how fans
- 28:41Speaker 13: and things are nowadays in media.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Us, yes.
- 28:49Speaker 1: You didn't want to say it, but I'll say it. Us.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Go ahead, Jalen.
- 28:53Speaker 14: Jalen, as a Cal Golden Bear, I know Fernando Mendoza
- 28:57Speaker 14: went on to have the most success at Indiana and
- 28:59Speaker 14: win a national title there. But do you have any
- 29:01Speaker 14: problem that it seems like Indiana gets all the credit
- 29:04Speaker 14: for Mendoza when it's like a lot of his work
- 29:06Speaker 14: came from being a Cal Golden Bear?
- 29:09Speaker 13: It did come from being a cow, but then at
- 29:11Speaker 13: the end of the day, when you went that Maddie though,
- 29:13Speaker 13: it's a little different when you, you know what I'm saying?
- 29:15Speaker 13: So obviously I feel like, um, Indiana, you know, that
- 29:19Speaker 13: team was very good. And so like, you know, going
- 29:23Speaker 13: over there, that really changed his trajectory on things.
- 29:26Speaker 9: I feel like, I mean, Cal obviously helped.
- 29:28Speaker 13: You know, groom and build him, but obviously, you know,
- 29:32Speaker 13: he went to a different school and did what he did. So,
- 29:35Speaker 13: if I was Indiana I would take the credit you
- 29:38Speaker 13: know what I'm saying you know what I'm saying and
- 29:39Speaker 13: also Cal takes credit too but like you wouldn't deny
- 29:42Speaker 13: you know what.
- 29:43Speaker 8: I'm saying like everyone defeated so it's like alright like
- 29:47Speaker 8: you know you came over here and turned up so
- 29:49Speaker 8: it's like alright like yeah I would say yeah we
- 29:54Speaker 8: take the credit you know what I'm saying and I
- 29:55Speaker 8: do see like certain posts where Cal football you know
- 29:58Speaker 8: shouts at my like when he got drafted, they're like
- 30:02Speaker 8: shout out to Fernando Mendoza, um, you know, Cal grad, uh,
- 30:08Speaker 8: and then also Indiana, you know, it's just a little
- 30:10Speaker 8: more powerful when you win a national championship.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You got a little something for the Falcons this week, uh,
- 30:15Speaker 1: because they waived you, right? You got something for him.
- 30:16Speaker 1: You've been thinking about this when you circled it.
- 30:18Speaker 9: Yeah. I mean, this game is my second time playing.
- 30:23Speaker 9: This is leaving.
- 30:24Speaker 13: Um, since I decided to leave that program, uh, Nothing
- 30:28Speaker 13: but respect and, you know, nothing but respect for them,
- 30:30Speaker 13: you know, because at the end of the day, you know,
- 30:31Speaker 13: they helped change my life.
- 30:32Speaker 9: You know, I got a call.
- 30:33Speaker 13: They gave me the call. They drafted me, stuff like that. But, yeah,
- 30:36Speaker 13: I remember last year was my first time playing them. And,
- 30:39Speaker 13: you know, I had that game circled. And this year,
- 30:42Speaker 13: you know, I'm able to go back to Mercedes for
- 30:44Speaker 13: the first time in my career.
- 30:45Speaker 9: So I decided to go out there and.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Do my thing. All right, Jalen. We appreciate it. Jalen Hawkins,
- 30:52Speaker 1: Raven Safety. We appreciate your time, sir. We'd like to
- 30:55Speaker 1: have you back on more often. I want to talk
- 30:57Speaker 1: food with you. Just food, okay?
- 30:58Speaker 9: Oh, man, we could talk that all day.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Then we'll do it.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I don't know where you're from.
- 31:02Speaker 9: Where are you from?
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm from New York, man. New York pizza.
- 31:05Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, you know food.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, you know.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Italian, you know.
- 31:09Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 9: You know. But I don't know, Brett. Last thing, I
- 31:11Speaker 9: don't know if New York knows Mexican food like that.
- 31:14Speaker 9: I mean, you got to tell me.
- 31:15Speaker 1: No, I mean, we do. Not Manhattan. We pride ourselves
- 31:20Speaker 1: on Italian, on steak, and on dirty water dogs. I
- 31:24Speaker 1: just asked Demario Davis the better food city, New Orleans
- 31:28Speaker 1: or New York, and he was torn. I think it
- 31:30Speaker 1: was a slight nod to New Orleans. The food is
- 31:32Speaker 1: so good there.
- 31:33Speaker 9: Yeah. They got good food, too.
- 31:35Speaker 7: Yes.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'll talk. Listen, if you want to carve
- 31:37Speaker 1: out an hour or two of your busy schedule, I
- 31:39Speaker 1: got nothing to do. I'll just be sitting here waiting
- 31:40Speaker 1: for you.
- 31:41Speaker 9: I'm online, man. Get my number. All right.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I'm going to hang up, and I'm going to get
- 31:45Speaker 1: your number in just a second. We appreciate you doing this.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Good luck against Atlanta, man. Thank you again for the time.
- 31:51Speaker 1: We appreciate it.
- 31:52Speaker 9: Have a good one. All right.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Thank you.
