- 1:35Speaker 6: something and I was like, oh, yeah, because I'm working
- 1:37Speaker 6: at my boss's house. So I gave her the address
- 1:42Speaker 6: rung out my boss.
- 1:43Speaker 7: I was like, oh my god, like there's a bunch
- 1:45Speaker 7: of exports ship coming here. And he was like, what
- 1:47Speaker 7: the fuck. I don't want that. I don't want that
- 1:49Speaker 7: stuff at my house, blah blah blah.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Okay I was.
- 1:57Speaker 6: She was like, and then yeah, so we didn't pull through,
- 1:59Speaker 6: but I was just seeing it was the possibility to
- 2:01Speaker 6: pick it up.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, fair enough, fair enough, that is fair enough. Did
- 2:07Speaker 3: you did? Did did Zoe give you an email or anything?
- 2:10Speaker 3: Was it just this number?
- 2:12Speaker 1: No?
- 2:12Speaker 6: It was just she called me off this number. And
- 2:16Speaker 6: then I tried to contact her because my boss was like, not,
- 2:19Speaker 6: they can't come. So I was there was a mission
- 2:22Speaker 6: trying to get Okay, I tell.
- 2:23Speaker 2: You what, man, we can probably sort your something out.
- 2:25Speaker 2: The only condition is you got to quit your job
- 2:27Speaker 2: because that guy sucks.
- 2:31Speaker 7: I got a big growling from him.
- 2:35Speaker 4: What's up? Was there?
- 2:36Speaker 8: Man?
- 2:36Speaker 7: Like the whole day I was like keen ass for it?
- 2:38Speaker 2: And then do you know what the delivery is meant?
- 2:43Speaker 2: To be. It's just like a couple of dozen you
- 2:47Speaker 2: want a couple of dozen beers or something.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I'm happy for anything.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We should try and drum him up some pessions we

- 3:04Speaker 6: Oh you guys are awesome, Thank you mate.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Okay, I just put them on hold.
- 3:08Speaker 8: Yeah, I think.
- 3:10Speaker 4: I have seen.
- 3:11Speaker 8: But wasn't that light the one that was flashing before
- 3:13Speaker 8: that said we were off here?
- 3:14Speaker 4: Or is it?
- 3:15Speaker 5: When it's so, there's two there's a light in the
- 3:17Speaker 5: middle of every radio studio, and when it flashes blue,
- 3:19Speaker 5: it means the station has dead air and nothing's playing.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Right, Okay, So that's the there's.
- 3:23Speaker 5: Three lights there, you see. Yes, the middle one is
- 3:26Speaker 5: flash is yellow. That's when someone's calling our hotline, well.
- 3:29Speaker 8: Like our regular phone, I don't know, like a direct
- 3:31Speaker 8: line to the studio.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Ah, okay, which is like you used to.
- 3:34Speaker 3: If you're teeing up an interview or something. They can
- 3:36Speaker 3: get straight through.
- 3:37Speaker 5: All the cut through all the yes or the admin
- 3:39Speaker 5: and then the other light which is the red one
- 3:40Speaker 5: that's on now is when you're recording, right, Okay, so
- 3:44Speaker 5: I don't know what Megi's doing.
- 3:45Speaker 3: He's going out there to tell someone to deliver some purse.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, to be fair, what we could do is
- 3:49Speaker 5: just put the purse at reception, yes, and then he
- 3:52Speaker 5: could come pick it up. Well, that's right, Yeah, maybe
- 3:55Speaker 5: we do that. Who knows what Megi's coming back in.
- 3:58Speaker 5: That could be a good option. We're just thinking, I
- 4:02Speaker 5: know what you got to but we're like, whyn't we
- 4:03Speaker 5: just check out the boxes out of reception or something.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I wonder what the prizes me to be.
- 4:10Speaker 8: It's usually it's I think like a couple of dozen
- 4:13Speaker 8: beers and chips.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Toddy's got it in charge, and you'll get something through
- 4:19Speaker 2: on before Christmas. But I think you're on He literally
- 4:22Speaker 2: said that, So I think you're on something a reception.
- 4:25Speaker 8: I reckon, Jackie. I we can check in a box
- 4:28Speaker 8: a snack of chenie.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Okay, Jack, do you like a thousand dollars in cash?
- 4:35Speaker 6: I'm not going to say.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, cool, we're just checking. Just making a note
- 4:38Speaker 3: of that, yeah, just making out of that.
- 4:40Speaker 5: So we're going to do Jack is we'll leave some
- 4:41Speaker 5: beers a reception here and you can come pick them
- 4:44Speaker 5: up when you when do you want to do that?
- 4:46Speaker 5: You're an Awkland Yeah, yeah, I can pull through now,
- 4:48Speaker 5: I don't mind.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Desperate to get on the hammer.
- 4:54Speaker 4: What do is?
- 4:54Speaker 5: I'll put you on hold and Pugs will give you
- 4:56Speaker 5: the address to come pick up, and we'll just pop
- 4:58Speaker 5: a couple of boxes out of reception and oh.
- 5:01Speaker 6: You guys are so good.
- 5:03Speaker 3: Get on your jack.
- 5:04Speaker 5: By the way, we're midway through the podcast and so
- 5:06Speaker 5: this is going to be included in it.
- 5:07Speaker 3: By the way.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I listened to that all the time.
- 5:11Speaker 8: You have a good yes, but buzzies. Pugs was going
- 5:18Speaker 8: on at length about his winter coat. He's getting a
- 5:21Speaker 8: winter coat, as he put it, and it turned into
- 5:25Speaker 8: buzzy chat.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I know I heard it. Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 8: So actually I was looking at my buzzies today. They're
- 5:32Speaker 8: all right, they're good, they're looking good.
- 5:34Speaker 2: They're looking good on that top yeah, so tight?
- 5:37Speaker 8: Yeah, well it's actually it's very snug because I wear it.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Under my jacket.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Now that's lovely, mate, You thinks that's good? Hey, Jake,
- 5:45Speaker 2: So I just need to go to you to go
- 5:47Speaker 2: into your oh God, into your phone there and just
- 5:51Speaker 2: go and have a look at your messages. Mate, All right,
- 5:53Speaker 2: your messages are sorry and your Instagram Instagram. Yeah, I
- 6:00Speaker 2: was thinking about doing that, but I think people are
- 6:02Speaker 2: probably over it. So the Whocky Big Show week days
- 6:06Speaker 2: from four on Radio Hurarchy, They Big Show Podcast.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I haven't received any messages on my Instagram.
- 6:15Speaker 2: No, bet you heaven. So if you go into requests,
- 6:19Speaker 2: I don't even know what that is.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Should I help him?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Yes, Cauf, you could help him because this is only
- 6:23Speaker 2: meant to be about ten or fifteen minutes this podcast.
- 6:25Speaker 4: What's going on? There's a chat?
- 6:27Speaker 3: Oh my god, what are you watching?
- 6:28Speaker 4: The next parade?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Requests? What are we looking for? He would have eight
- 6:34Speaker 2: billion there? Now? Can you go through on this? Probably
- 6:36Speaker 2: somebody there called Georgia Yeares Mahafi, that's it. I was trying.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I was trying not to put in the surname. But
- 6:43Speaker 2: all good.
- 6:44Speaker 8: Oh okay, yeah yeah what about that?
- 6:49Speaker 2: So Georgia is the general manager of brand for One
- 6:52Speaker 2: New Zealand. Yes, and she saw the video of your
- 6:55Speaker 2: shit phone and thought it was an absolute disgrace. And
- 6:58Speaker 2: it has been trying to get in touch with you
- 6:59Speaker 2: to give you a phone for quite some time. But
- 7:02Speaker 2: of course, because you don't know how to week your messages,
- 7:05Speaker 2: you've been completely oblivious. Yes, but anyway, all happy now?
- 7:09Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 7:09Speaker 5: Yeah, fucking ridiculous How Jace just gets given free phones
- 7:14Speaker 5: because he refuses to upgrade.
- 7:16Speaker 8: What's funny about it is because of your guys outrage.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Not even it's not even my outrage, perfectly happy, chill man,
- 7:23Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 7:23Speaker 5: But the thing is, I'm actually really going to miss
- 7:25Speaker 5: your amazing selfies, your blary selfies.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, true, I don't know the camera lenses will
- 7:31Speaker 2: still be filthy. Yeah yeah, so I think their quality
- 7:34Speaker 2: of photos will still be much the same. How are
- 7:36Speaker 2: you finding that phone, Jason?
- 7:37Speaker 8: It's great, it's you know, it's just a phanos are
- 7:40Speaker 8: saying to the Fellaws. You say you ninety percent of
- 7:43Speaker 8: the stuff on it.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You must have noticed it something of a difference in
- 7:47Speaker 2: terms of being able to watch your video just general.
- 7:49Speaker 8: Yeah, all I've been saying to the fellas a lot
- 7:51Speaker 8: of claret, a lot more.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Clear, Yeah, yeah, a lotly as cracks, and a lot
- 7:56Speaker 2: lotly as duck taper, yes, sellotape.
- 7:59Speaker 5: And I thought, honestly, just in I thought Jason was
- 8:02Speaker 5: going to be like, no, I haven't noticed the difference,
- 8:04Speaker 5: you know, but I haven't.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Really, It's still the same. I mean, what does it matter?
- 8:09Speaker 4: But I'm very grateful.
- 8:11Speaker 8: Nonetheless, Kakeasy, you guys play, I had you going.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Didn't you guys play golf the other day last Friday?
- 8:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I had that go.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, great. I played really well?
- 8:21Speaker 4: He did, He did play very well. It was good
- 8:24Speaker 4: to have a whack. We've talked about this though. We'll
- 8:26Speaker 4: play next year.
- 8:27Speaker 3: We're gonna play next week.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, next week, this week, this week, I've.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Had a lot of house Edmund.
- 8:31Speaker 8: Going, oh yeah, let's go for it, especially if the
- 8:35Speaker 8: weather's like this, Holy hell, Holy.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Holy today, you're too bad. Over the weekend the Fowlers
- 8:43Speaker 2: and another weekend.
- 8:44Speaker 5: Perfect perfect weather to go for a little back country
- 8:47Speaker 5: ride on your motorbike.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I'm getting that. I'm following through on that too.
- 8:51Speaker 3: You're going to do it?
- 8:52Speaker 2: I am. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, finally what I've finally
- 8:55Speaker 2: done because I had to talk to the accountants. You see,
- 8:59Speaker 2: as I'm finally off provisional tax. I've been on provisional
- 9:02Speaker 2: tax for about five years. You know what that is, Jason, Yes, yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 2: it's a fucking absolute life to have to pay in
- 9:09Speaker 2: advance for tax on income, which you don't even know
- 9:13Speaker 2: what your income is, and they want it now. It's
- 9:15Speaker 2: a fucking I'm trying to work out it's for people
- 9:20Speaker 2: that are in business, it's not for individuals. And so
- 9:23Speaker 2: we're in business, but we've just run a company. At
- 9:25Speaker 2: that stage, we're just running a company and doing our
- 9:27Speaker 2: work through it, so billing, through radio and any film
- 9:30Speaker 2: work or whatever. And then we bought a house and
- 9:32Speaker 2: we thought we had GST I think moneyset a side
- 9:35Speaker 2: or tax money set aside maybe, and we need wanted
- 9:37Speaker 2: the money to put towards a depositor on the house.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And we were like, oh, that's all good because capital
- 9:43Speaker 2: gains et cetera, et cetera, market crashes.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:46Speaker 2: But worse than that was we didn't know that it
- 9:48Speaker 2: would put us in a provisional tax situation, right, and
- 9:52Speaker 2: so for the last five years we've been hit with
- 9:54Speaker 2: those huge tax bills every single year. Yeah, and so
- 9:57Speaker 2: we're finally out of that. So were and head above.
- 10:01Speaker 2: It's they make it so difficult for you to get ahead.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Literally, had this conversation last night with a mate mon
- 10:06Speaker 5: we're having dinner and he was like, Hey, what's your
- 10:07Speaker 5: account's name? Were talking about accountants, and there was like, yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 5: I just got hit with provisional tax for the first time.
- 10:12Speaker 3: And I was just like, oh, I had that like
- 10:14Speaker 3: three years ago. And you're just like, oh, you want
- 10:16Speaker 3: how many thousands of dollars?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Like for us it's ten thousand, yeah, thousands of you this.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Now, but yeah, we pay this now in advance for
- 10:25Speaker 3: next year. It's like, oh, I could pay it next year.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, why do you need it now? Your fucking business.
- 10:31Speaker 8: I've never had to pay provisional tax. But what they
- 10:34Speaker 8: used to do when I used to pay child support, right,
- 10:37Speaker 8: you stopped paying that well now because they're like all
- 10:40Speaker 8: my kids are like fifty and fuck man, I will
- 10:44Speaker 8: never ever forget this conversation that I had. And so
- 10:48Speaker 8: they do the same thing. They project what you have
- 10:51Speaker 8: to pay in child support from your earnings from like
- 10:54Speaker 8: two or three years previous.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 10:56Speaker 8: And I had a scenario and this is no word
- 10:58Speaker 8: of a lie, where I had a fun king bump
- 11:00Speaker 8: a year two or three years before and I earned
- 11:05Speaker 8: like something like I don't know, one hundred and ten
- 11:07Speaker 8: or twenty thousand, which back in those days was a
- 11:11Speaker 8: load of money, a lot, and then they based for
- 11:16Speaker 8: the year coming my child support that on that year,
- 11:22Speaker 8: and that year I earned thirty nine thousand dollars, but
- 11:26Speaker 8: I had to pay child support based on a salary
- 11:30Speaker 8: of one twenty and the child support would have been
- 11:32Speaker 8: greater than probably your income for the entire year exactly.
- 11:35Speaker 8: And I remember getting on the phone and going, but
- 11:37Speaker 8: I'm not earning that interested. Not only was she not interested,
- 11:41Speaker 8: she went off her head at me about fathers not
- 11:44Speaker 8: paying child support. And I was going, I've got three
- 11:47Speaker 8: other children, for God's sake, how am I supposed to
- 11:50Speaker 8: put You can see what I'm earning.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I'm not earning that money. It was stressful.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I make it hard man.
- 11:57Speaker 4: So what you know?
- 11:58Speaker 8: So why would you have to It must be business
- 12:00Speaker 8: because I've never I know about provisional tech.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's only it's well, yeah, for us as contractors, and
- 12:05Speaker 2: then in business, so it becomes provisional when you can't
- 12:08Speaker 2: when you haven't covered all of your texts of the year.
- 12:10Speaker 2: So we were individual contractors. We hadn't paid for it
- 12:12Speaker 2: because that money had gone to the deposit on a
- 12:14Speaker 2: house like that's all good, but we didn't know the
- 12:17Speaker 2: replicasions of that. Our accountant didn't let us know that. Yes,
- 12:20Speaker 2: so yeah it turned up and it turned out to
- 12:22Speaker 2: be a massive pain in my ass. But she's all
- 12:25Speaker 2: good now, feel it's good stuff, Like you're paying off
- 12:29Speaker 2: like eight hundred bucks a week on tax or some shit.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And you're like, but I'm still paying this year.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, I'm paying my tax plus next year.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Fucking But well, then, what I don't understand is your
- 12:41Speaker 3: last year of business? Do you not pay any tax?
- 12:45Speaker 2: No, it's what is it? Your first year? I don't
- 12:48Speaker 2: think you do any and often you're not in you're
- 12:51Speaker 2: not in profit anyway. And then on that first year
- 12:54Speaker 2: then they'll projected for the following year. But I don't
- 12:56Speaker 2: see what the advantage is outside of like for the
- 12:59Speaker 2: government to colleck that money. I don't see what the
- 13:01Speaker 2: advantage is because all you're doing is making things difficult
- 13:04Speaker 2: for business owners who you want to be successful so
- 13:07Speaker 2: that they can employ people and make.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Money, especially when that's just getting started, especially.
- 13:11Speaker 2: When they're just getting started.
- 13:12Speaker 8: Yeah, well we're having that chet yesterday were we about
- 13:14Speaker 8: GST and going, what the fuck's the point?
- 13:16Speaker 4: Don't worry about it?
- 13:17Speaker 8: Especially for sole contractors, and it's like you you pay
- 13:20Speaker 8: GST for me, thanks, and then I'll just give it
- 13:22Speaker 8: to the government.
- 13:22Speaker 4: But you get you claim stuff. But still it's like I.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Don't understand anything.
- 13:27Speaker 5: All I know is when I got an accountant a
- 13:29Speaker 5: few years ago, my life became so much easy and
- 13:32Speaker 5: funnily enough.
- 13:33Speaker 8: I just just today Mogi sorted all that.
- 13:36Speaker 4: It's all done and dusted for the air. That's good stuff.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Sign of man.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Yeah, man, we're rick.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Well are we going to go take our hogs out?
- 13:46Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:46Speaker 2: I think we should. Well, yeah, what are you going
- 13:48Speaker 2: to get? Jis man?
- 13:49Speaker 8: That's a good question. I don't feel right. I don't
- 13:52Speaker 8: feel safe on a bike. I don't feel safe with
- 13:54Speaker 8: you on a bike either. But it'll be good for socials,
- 13:58Speaker 8: so I should buy a bite so I kill myself,
- 14:02Speaker 8: which will be hilarious for so. I mean, I don't
- 14:05Speaker 8: even do the scooters. I don't even do the line.
- 14:09Speaker 8: I'm I'm just going to break an ankle, I know,
- 14:10Speaker 8: I will.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I think a trike would be good.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Yes, because there's heaps, especially like when you become a
- 14:15Speaker 5: bigger unit, you just get a big trike so that
- 14:18Speaker 5: you don't have to worry about putting a foot down
- 14:19Speaker 5: at the traffic lights. When you're stopped, you just stay
- 14:22Speaker 5: sitting on your big lazy boy there.
- 14:24Speaker 3: That could be you.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I just like walking. I don't need any kill.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Maybe we start out first ever, a walking gang man cashed. Hey,
- 14:32Speaker 5: listen to the Big Show four or seven week days
- 14:34Speaker 5: radio hurd Chi
