- 1:17Speaker 5: brought to you by First American Bank and Trust FABT
- 1:21Speaker 5: dot com.
- 1:23Speaker 1: We were talking about that.
- 1:25Speaker 6: Weer three already, it is here, we are here, we are.
- 1:28Speaker 5: We were talking about the Cleveland Browns, a little bit
- 1:31Speaker 5: early mistake by the Lake, big mistake by the Lake.
- 1:37Speaker 5: With our question since they got back into the NFL,
- 1:41Speaker 5: remember they moved to Baltimore, but since they came back
- 1:44Speaker 5: as a franchise in nineteen ninety nine, Chris Palmer was
- 1:48Speaker 5: the head coach for a couple of seasons. He was
- 1:51Speaker 5: in thirty two games, five and twenty seven. Then they
- 1:54Speaker 5: go and hire Butch Davis. In fifty nine games, he
- 1:58Speaker 5: was twenty four and thirty five. Terry Robiski shout out
- 2:03Speaker 5: LSU In five games he was one four As the
- 2:07Speaker 5: interim coach, Romeo Cronell in sixty four games, he was
- 2:11Speaker 5: twenty four and forty. Eric Mangini in thirty two games,
- 2:16Speaker 5: he was ten and twenty two. Pat Shermer in thirty
- 2:19Speaker 5: two games, he was nine and twenty three. Rob Chudzinski
- 2:23Speaker 5: shout out to chud my guy. In sixteen games, he
- 2:26Speaker 5: was four and twelve. Though I don't remember this guy,
- 2:34Speaker 5: Mike's something I don't even trying to pronounce that last name.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Thirty two games, he was ten and twenty two, so
- 2:38Speaker 1: it doesn't matter.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Hugh Jackson forty games, Matthew In forty games as the
- 2:45Speaker 5: Browns head coach, Hugh Jackson was three thirty six and
- 2:50Speaker 5: one winning percentage of point zero eight eight, three thirty
- 2:56Speaker 5: six and one in forty games, three thirty six and one.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That ain't good. Ain't good at all.
- 3:04Speaker 5: You had Greg Williams, he was the I believe interim
- 3:07Speaker 5: coach in eight games.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Eight games, okay, okay? Greg?
- 3:10Speaker 5: Greg was five and three. Freddy Kitchens takes over. They
- 3:17Speaker 5: don't give the job to Greg Williams. Freddy Kitchens takes
- 3:20Speaker 5: over in sixteen games he was six and ten. Kevin
- 3:24Speaker 5: Stevanski in one hundred and one games, he was forty
- 3:27Speaker 5: five and fifty six.
- 3:32Speaker 1: How is that possible?
- 3:35Speaker 7: I just looked on it. Then, they've had four winning
- 3:38Speaker 7: seasons since what do you say? Nineteen nine nine since
- 3:41Speaker 7: returning in nineteen ninety nine, four winning seasons two thousand
- 3:44Speaker 7: and two they were nine and seven, two thousand and seven,
- 3:46Speaker 7: ten and six. Twenty twenty that was Baker Mayfield eleven
- 3:51Speaker 7: and five and then twenty twenty three, eleven and six.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and the guy that I didn't, Mike Pettin.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Like, do you who is that I've heard of that
- 4:00Speaker 6: name of thing? Have you? Okay?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Shout out to Mike Patin.
- 4:03Speaker 5: He was ten and twenty two and never heard of
- 4:05Speaker 5: that fella that is?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Are they the worst you've ever heard of a fella? Exactly?
- 4:11Speaker 5: Are they the worst franchise in professional sports?
- 4:17Speaker 7: I will I was talking to somebody. Maybe it was
- 4:20Speaker 7: all I was talking about this with, or a solid
- 4:22Speaker 7: debate on it, Like somebody said, maybe the Washington Wizards.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We're up there as well.
- 4:27Speaker 7: Yeah, and their uniforms are ugly too.
- 4:32Speaker 6: They don't even look good when they're doing it.
- 4:36Speaker 1: In all.
- 4:37Speaker 6: And that's why we call it everybody the mistake, by.
- 4:39Speaker 5: The way, clean USA Sports. I want to find this out.
- 4:45Speaker 5: The Washington Wizards is bad, but like for some they
- 4:49Speaker 5: had some okay times when they were the Washington Bullets,
- 4:51Speaker 5: like way back in the day in the seventies. I
- 4:54Speaker 5: think they lost in the finals a couple of times.
- 4:58Speaker 5: All Right, So I've got the the most losing franchises
- 5:03Speaker 5: in every major sport in the United States.
- 5:07Speaker 1: In the NFL, it's the Arizona Cardinals.
- 5:11Speaker 7: What since what it like probably should make it a
- 5:14Speaker 7: little bit more towards the modern area.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I know, I'm scoing you all time.
- 5:16Speaker 5: They are the oldest team in the NFL, founded in
- 5:19Speaker 5: eighteen ninety eight, the most total losses in NFL history,
- 5:22Speaker 5: one championship in nineteen forty seven, but zero Super Bowl titles.
- 5:27Speaker 1: The Cardinals.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Kadi's uncle played for them when they were the Saint
- 5:30Speaker 5: Louis Cardinals, and they were bad then, they're bad now.
- 5:34Speaker 1: They had some run with Kurt Warner.
- 5:37Speaker 5: The Minnesota Timberwolves are actually the worst all time winning
- 5:41Speaker 5: percentage in NBA history, only a handful of playoff series
- 5:45Speaker 5: wins ever, So Timberwolves. The Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball. Yeah,
- 5:53Speaker 5: that one kind of speaks for itself. Poor Paul Skiings
- 5:55Speaker 5: the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL. Is that's even still
- 5:59Speaker 5: a thing, So poor Arizona, Poor Phoenix. Yeah, bad sports,
- 6:05Speaker 5: I guess.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Yeah, because it's not like the Suns are good either.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Well, Arizona gave it a couple of good quarterbacks, Hugh.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and Arizona's in.
- 6:17Speaker 7: Like Arizona, So it's much better than Cleveland ever heard
- 6:21Speaker 7: of Jadan Daniels in the Phoenix. Yeah, I've heard what
- 6:25Speaker 7: Jadan Daniels. Yeah, what about him? It came from Arizona Sport.
- 6:29Speaker 7: He's from California.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but he was playing sports in Arizona. Yeah. So
- 6:35Speaker 1: is LSU's current quarterback Sam Levitt.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Yep, so I said a couple quarterbacks.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Give me another Arizona State quarterback.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Jake Plumber, Yes, Jack and the Snake when I used
- 6:46Speaker 7: to play. So this is back in my high school.
- 6:48Speaker 1: The only knowledge of any professional athletes you have that
- 6:52Speaker 1: is from nineteen ninety four to nineteen ninety eight.
- 6:56Speaker 7: Yeah, that's about right. Yeah, that's about my I was
- 6:59Speaker 7: hitting my streke right. As a sports fan, we used
- 7:02Speaker 7: to play U NCAA game Breaker on PlayStation two. He
- 7:07Speaker 7: was PlayStation one one or two back in early high school.
- 7:10Speaker 7: And you could play with I'd play with the ninety
- 7:13Speaker 7: six Arizona State team.
- 7:15Speaker 6: You could play like the historical teams.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 7: That was probably the greatest football game ever created, College
- 7:22Speaker 7: game Breaker.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I remember it.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Did you ever play?
- 7:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:26Speaker 7: And we used to have little tournaments at a buddy's house.
- 7:32Speaker 5: Also, your college from ninety four to ninety eight is
- 7:35Speaker 5: because of video games.
- 7:36Speaker 6: A lot of it.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Kinger junior baseball.
- 7:39Speaker 7: Well, there's only one real baseball player in that one,
- 7:41Speaker 7: Ken Griff Junior.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but everybody knew.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Everybody knew Jay Univergar was Edgar, Otis Nixon was Otis Nixon,
- 7:49Speaker 5: Ronan was Ryan Gant, Julio Franco was jul They used.
- 7:53Speaker 7: Their name, image and likeness. There should be a term
- 7:59Speaker 7: for that, and it should never anywo brown Suck?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Would you ever be the head coach of the Cleveland Browns?
- 8:13Speaker 6: God?
- 8:13Speaker 1: I hate this for our guy, Todd Monkin.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I mean, I'm sure he's getting paid. Well yeah, okay,
- 8:19Speaker 5: for sure, But I just gave you the list since
- 8:23Speaker 5: they came back. I mean even before even the guy
- 8:26Speaker 5: that we considered the greatest coach of all time, Bill
- 8:28Speaker 5: Belichick in eighty games, he was thirty six and forty.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Oh god, he is not the greatest coach of all time.
- 8:32Speaker 7: He can't even make it the Hall of Fame.
- 8:36Speaker 5: The last coach they've had with a winning record that
- 8:38Speaker 5: was the full time head coach is Marty Schottenheimer nineteen
- 8:42Speaker 5: eighty four to nineteen eighty eight and seventy one games.
- 8:45Speaker 1: He was forty four and twenty seven.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Oh was he a two time NFL Coach of the Year? Marty?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Uh like Stefanski probably actually can't wait to see this
- 9:00Speaker 1: the fan Ski versus Baker Beef.
- 9:02Speaker 5: NFL Coach of the Year when he was with the
- 9:04Speaker 5: Chargers in two thousand and four. Actually think he got
- 9:07Speaker 5: he got fired in O six. So yeah, when he
- 9:09Speaker 5: was with the Chargers in O four, he got ap
- 9:11Speaker 5: NFL Coach of the Year, but he didn't do it
- 9:14Speaker 5: with the Browns. No, he did not AFC Coach of
- 9:17Speaker 5: the Year with the Browns. Okay, all right, so there
- 9:22Speaker 5: you go, Mariy Schottenheimer. Last time the Browns had a
- 9:25Speaker 5: winning and coach in the eighties. That's awful, Like, how
- 9:30Speaker 5: are you a fan of the Cleveland Browns? And look,
- 9:33Speaker 5: I know the Pelicans are a bad franchise.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I get that.
- 9:36Speaker 5: And the NBA is popular, it's not the NFL. NFL's
- 9:41Speaker 5: by far the most popular sport. So you're gonna have
- 9:43Speaker 5: more fans for NFL teams.
- 9:47Speaker 1: When you send your payment in for season tickets to
- 9:50Speaker 1: the Browns and you know you're gonna suck. That's gotta
- 9:54Speaker 1: be a kick between the legs.
- 9:57Speaker 7: Oh yeah, for sure. And that's why I you know,
- 9:59Speaker 7: it make when they have any glimmer of hope, it
- 10:03Speaker 7: makes it fantastic for them. But usually that glimmer of
- 10:06Speaker 7: pope turns into darkness pretty quick.
- 10:08Speaker 6: So I don't know darkness.
- 10:10Speaker 7: It's just what do we compare it to a couple
- 10:13Speaker 7: of weeks ago, like losing organizations like the Browns. Is
- 10:16Speaker 7: like that one building in town that's had about thirteen
- 10:19Speaker 7: different restaurants and none of them work.
- 10:23Speaker 6: It's just a building that.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Has the bank and saying I've got the plan. I
- 10:29Speaker 5: got to be the loan because I'll be the fourteenth
- 10:32Speaker 5: in the last six.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Months, but I'm gonna make it.
- 10:35Speaker 7: And it's different people, it's different owners, it's different genres
- 10:37Speaker 7: of food. It's different. It's different. Some of them are popular.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Some of them can be cowsters that works everywhere like that.
- 10:45Speaker 7: Things can be a chain, it can be a startup,
- 10:47Speaker 7: whatever it is. And the only common denominator is the location,
- 10:52Speaker 7: the foundation, the framework, the walls, that's the floor. It's
- 10:57Speaker 7: the only common denominator. Everything else this is different, but
- 11:01Speaker 7: nothing we all know it. Everybody's got that place in
- 11:03Speaker 7: there wherever they grew up or in the place that
- 11:05Speaker 7: they live. Everybody knows what I'm talking about. Doesn't matter
- 11:09Speaker 7: what you do, it's just not gonna work. And a
- 11:12Speaker 7: lot of sports franchises, for whatever reason, feel like that.
- 11:17Speaker 6: The Browns, the Jets, the Raiders.
- 11:21Speaker 7: It just feels that that's the feeling you get, no
- 11:24Speaker 7: matter what happens, no matter who they bring in, no
- 11:27Speaker 7: matter who's in charge, it just ain't gonna work. And
- 11:29Speaker 7: until you prove us wrong, we're just gonna keep saying
- 11:32Speaker 7: I told you so.
- 11:33Speaker 5: It's like the spot that Mellow Mushroom once was in
- 11:39Speaker 5: Baton Rouge.
- 11:40Speaker 1: It's been a lot of things.
- 11:41Speaker 6: Yep.
- 11:42Speaker 7: No, there's a place any different things. There's that place
- 11:45Speaker 7: on Perkins. It was at McAllister's at one point, oh
- 11:49Speaker 7: Man the park.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that thing has been tacos.
- 11:53Speaker 7: It's been seafood it is, but you're right, rock Paper
- 11:57Speaker 7: Tacos one.
- 12:00Speaker 6: We all know that spot.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it was a seafood places very popular down in
- 12:03Speaker 5: this area, like in Gulf Shores.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I can't think of the name of it right now,
- 12:07Speaker 1: but it was that.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Yep.
- 12:09Speaker 1: The old CC's Coffee by the o G.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Walk Ons, by our friends over at Pro Dreams, right
- 12:15Speaker 5: down the end.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Cap Coffee Shop by a University.
- 12:18Speaker 5: Of seventy five different things since then, we all get it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they're the Cleveland Browns.
- 12:25Speaker 7: The Cleveland Brown Building is a Cleveland Brown I mean, rip,
- 12:30Speaker 7: good for the honor you keep getting tenants.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Yeah, rip for Mellow Mushroom. What was very good Wednesday Nights.
- 12:36Speaker 5: It's been seventeen different things.
- 12:37Speaker 7: It's actually the highest grossing Melo mushroom in the whole country,
- 12:40Speaker 7: was it?
- 12:41Speaker 6: I didn't realize that it was a chain.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't know. At some point it probably was not
- 12:46Speaker 1: the highest grossing.
- 12:47Speaker 5: Right, But I mean, like, what happened because when we
- 12:50Speaker 5: were in college Wednesday Nights popping to Mellow Mushroom.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Popping open mic night, Yeah, a lot happened.
- 12:59Speaker 1: But I guess that's true.
- 13:01Speaker 5: I guess our other favorite establishment in college has shut
- 13:05Speaker 5: down and had to come back since so.
- 13:07Speaker 6: Oh, you know what we were going to talk about.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Let's stay in the AFC nor North and a new
- 13:13Speaker 7: job has been filled with the Pittsburgh Steelers, my former
- 13:16Speaker 7: coach for the Green Bay Packers and also former coach
- 13:18Speaker 7: of the Dallas Cowboys. After another year or two off,
- 13:21Speaker 7: I can't remember if he's been out for two. No,
- 13:22Speaker 7: it's just one year, he takes the job with the
- 13:25Speaker 7: Pittsburgh Steelers, and let me tell you, if you hadn't like,
- 13:27Speaker 7: the press conference that he had was fantastic, Like he
- 13:31Speaker 7: almost he couldn't even get through the first sentence without
- 13:33Speaker 7: almost crying. So this guy is a Pittsburgh guy. We
- 13:37Speaker 7: used to kind of like make fun of old Pittsburgh Mike.
- 13:39Speaker 7: You know, he's always would talk about Pittsburgh, like in
- 13:41Speaker 7: his in his talks and the speeches to us in
- 13:43Speaker 7: Green Bay, Wisconsin, right, and he was at Pittsburgh through
- 13:47Speaker 7: and through. Like if y'all think, like people from Texas
- 13:50Speaker 7: are like proud to be from Texas and they always
- 13:52Speaker 7: say it Pittsburgh. People from Pittsburgh are like that times
- 13:55Speaker 7: ten like baden to let you know that you that
- 13:58Speaker 7: they're when they're like the first time you meet him,
- 14:00Speaker 7: they'll let you know five times that they're from Pittsburgh
- 14:02Speaker 7: and they're Pittsburgh tough. So Mike McCarthy grew up a
- 14:06Speaker 7: Pittsburgh Steelers fan. His family lives there. He worked at
- 14:10Speaker 7: a little dive bar when he was growing up, and
- 14:12Speaker 7: all that everything that he used to always preached us
- 14:15Speaker 7: was about Pittsburgh. And so he gets the job. So
- 14:18Speaker 7: congratulations of Mike McCarthy. I hope it works out. You
- 14:21Speaker 7: never know, following like a legend like that. Mike Toma
- 14:24Speaker 7: has been there for nineteen years, and he followed Bill
- 14:26Speaker 7: Cower before that, like you're following.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Three coaches in the last like ye forever right exactly.
- 14:32Speaker 6: It's like quarterback for the Packers.
- 14:34Speaker 1: They've had like three quarterbacks for like forty years or whatever,
- 14:38Speaker 1: same situation longer.
- 14:39Speaker 7: And so it's, uh, he takes out, so I wish
- 14:42Speaker 7: him the best. He's really good at at coaching quarterbacks,
- 14:46Speaker 7: coaching offenses. He took I thought he took Dak Prescott
- 14:49Speaker 7: to a good level.
- 14:51Speaker 6: His offense is great.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Of course, coach Aaron Rodgers for a long time, so
- 14:53Speaker 7: it'll be interesting to see how that all plays out.
- 14:56Speaker 7: But he was asked about it, and he said, why
- 14:59Speaker 7: wouldn't you want Aaron Rogers to be your quarterback?
- 15:01Speaker 6: I get it.
- 15:02Speaker 7: A lot of people don't feel the same way, but
- 15:04Speaker 7: certainly there is a history relationship there. So it'll be
- 15:06Speaker 7: interesting to see what that if Aaron Rodgers wants to
- 15:09Speaker 7: continue playing football. But if he does, you gotta imagine
- 15:15Speaker 7: that that is a connection that's going to come back together.
- 15:19Speaker 7: It would be really cool for me from my seat,
- 15:21Speaker 7: just having a relationship with both those guys and being
- 15:23Speaker 7: with them for six years, it would be really cool
- 15:26Speaker 7: for me to see them, you know, one last ride.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So you can tell him and a lot to him.
- 15:31Speaker 5: And we were talking with Scott Tolzi the other day
- 15:33Speaker 5: and he's like, yeah, I mean even when we go
- 15:34Speaker 5: play in Pittsburgh, like Mike enjoyed Pittsburgh and for sure
- 15:39Speaker 5: like all the spots in Pittsburgh and where he grew up.
- 15:41Speaker 5: And you're right, it is one of those cities in
- 15:43Speaker 5: the country that if you're from there, you're incredibly proud
- 15:45Speaker 5: of it and you make sure that you represent it
- 15:47Speaker 5: whenever you can. And so that is a life long
- 15:50Speaker 5: and dream. I mean, his parents has press conference, Like
- 15:52Speaker 5: you know what I'm saying, It meant a lot.
- 15:55Speaker 7: I told you not to send them in the front
- 15:56Speaker 7: row because he was starting to cry, like his first
- 15:59Speaker 7: line up.
- 16:00Speaker 1: All right, we will take a break for you. Want

- 17:49Speaker 5: with our guys, chef Michael Johnson to answer your monkey questions.
- 17:53Speaker 5: So we are glad as always to have our guy on,
- 17:55Speaker 5: Chef Michael Johnson.
- 17:56Speaker 1: How you doing, sir, I'm good, guys that they all bot.
- 18:00Speaker 5: Yeah, we're down here in Mobile. Hey, it's pretty cold
- 18:03Speaker 5: down here. How's the weather up there over there wherever
- 18:06Speaker 5: you're at in bad Rouge?
- 18:08Speaker 8: It's pretty chilly, but it's better than what it has been,
- 18:10Speaker 8: for sure. That's going out.
- 18:12Speaker 1: We got any cold weather comfort foods going on?
- 18:15Speaker 8: Jeff, Yeah, I've been eating a lot of soup at
- 18:18Speaker 8: the house of the few days, that's for sure. I
- 18:20Speaker 8: made some gumbo for my I made some red being
- 18:23Speaker 8: gumbo for my daughter's graduation. My daughter graduated college or university.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, congratulations, Yeah, thank you.
- 18:33Speaker 8: I'll make sure and pass it on to hers. I'm very,
- 18:36Speaker 8: very proud of her, and but we had some we
- 18:39Speaker 8: had I made a ton of red being gumbo for
- 18:41Speaker 8: her graduation party and had some leftover. So we've been
- 18:44Speaker 8: thawing some of that out and eating it, and you
- 18:46Speaker 8: know it's the when you free something, it still continues
- 18:50Speaker 8: to meld just mildly, right. And so I don't know,
- 18:54Speaker 8: we've been I've probably had this conversation three or four
- 18:57Speaker 8: times since last week about importance of melting its soup
- 19:00Speaker 8: and letting it said, and man, there's something special about
- 19:03Speaker 8: how a soup forms you from the inside.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Sheep is chili a soup?
- 19:09Speaker 8: Absolutely?
- 19:10Speaker 6: Okay? All right?
- 19:12Speaker 1: I don't know it's a fall like the stew family,
- 19:15Speaker 1: like where is it fall? But we're going soup?
- 19:17Speaker 8: Yeah? Well, I mean to me, I think the stew
- 19:20Speaker 8: is almost a soup, you know what I mean. It's
- 19:22Speaker 8: just kind of like thicker cut soup, bigger chunks. To me,
- 19:27Speaker 8: I think the differentiator what differentiates it is the size
- 19:30Speaker 8: of the stuff that's in it. To me, you know,
- 19:32Speaker 8: like a stew is bigger chunks, and a soup you
- 19:35Speaker 8: should be able to sit a little bit of everything
- 19:36Speaker 8: on your spoon. So in my mind, that's what differentiates it.
- 19:40Speaker 7: So when you make a chili, are you going like
- 19:42Speaker 7: a ground beef situation or like a cube or a chop?
- 19:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 19:48Speaker 8: You know, if I'm if I'm making my best chili
- 19:51Speaker 8: that I have. It's gonna be a you know, like
- 19:53Speaker 8: a small cube, you know, something that's like a half
- 19:56Speaker 8: inch to quarter inch and it's needy, right, But if
- 20:00Speaker 8: I'm just trying to throw it togret together because the
- 20:02Speaker 8: kids are chomping on my heels and I'm gonna.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Yeah, I got a let's say, I got a hashtag
- 20:11Speaker 7: munchies here. Now I didn't even know, I don't even
- 20:13Speaker 7: know if this was possible. But have you ever made
- 20:15Speaker 7: cheese from scratch?
- 20:17Speaker 1: I have?
- 20:18Speaker 8: Yeah, so you yeah, you use the rent it, which
- 20:21Speaker 8: is an enzyme that comes from a cow's stomach. And no,
- 20:24Speaker 8: that's that's for fresh cheese. It's not. I don't know
- 20:26Speaker 8: if it's for all cheese, but yeah, I have a
- 20:30Speaker 8: few times.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And I actually.
- 20:33Speaker 8: Sent him to a cheese making class that he came
- 20:36Speaker 8: back and we you know, farted around with it. And
- 20:39Speaker 8: making cheese is a really interesting deal.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Like what type of cheese can you can you make
- 20:45Speaker 1: from scratch? Well?
- 20:45Speaker 8: You know, like buffalo, like fresh buff buffalo mozzarella, you know,
- 20:49Speaker 8: like you soak that in the rend it just overnight
- 20:51Speaker 8: and and you can have a you can have it
- 20:53Speaker 8: pretty quickly or oh gosh, what's the cheese with the
- 20:58Speaker 8: soft metal. Uh, I'm brain farting here. I'm getting old. Yeah,
- 21:04Speaker 8: but yeah, fresh cheeses are the easiest and best in Buffalo.
- 21:09Speaker 8: Mosrell is the one that comes to find.
- 21:10Speaker 7: But yeah, I guess if you're making mozarella, you can
- 21:13Speaker 7: do like you can make like barata, you can make
- 21:18Speaker 7: like cheese.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, cheese.
- 21:22Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, that's that's what I was trying to spit out.
- 21:25Speaker 8: And I don't know if you guys have ever had
- 21:27Speaker 8: cheese curves before.
- 21:28Speaker 1: But you make those through way. He paid for a package,
- 21:30Speaker 1: if you know.
- 21:31Speaker 7: He's yeah, yeah, it's not a good cheese curd unless
- 21:34Speaker 7: it squeaks when you eat it.
- 21:36Speaker 8: Squeaky cheese, that's right.
- 21:37Speaker 6: Yeah, wait, that's the thing. I guess, got a squeaks,
- 21:40Speaker 6: have a squeaky cheese.
- 21:41Speaker 8: Yeah, okay, yeah, that's right. When you when you chew on,
- 21:43Speaker 8: it's supposed to squeak. And up North and Canada, in
- 21:47Speaker 8: Canadia they have potine, right, and so yeah, that's the
- 21:51Speaker 8: ultimate Canadian dish. So you know, cheese is a big,
- 21:54Speaker 8: big part of everybody's culture.
- 21:56Speaker 6: I think poutine man so good.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Jacob doesn't know anything about he's West Coast guy. Yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 1: nothing nothing. Chef Michael Johnson is our guests here trying
- 22:12Speaker 1: to get your munchy questions. Decide to buy you forward,
- 22:15Speaker 1: Chad chef. Right now.
- 22:18Speaker 5: If somebody's starting the new year, New Year, knew me
- 22:21Speaker 5: right and every year, that's kind of you know, when
- 22:23Speaker 5: the dyeing starts. It's when the getting back on track. Like,
- 22:26Speaker 5: what would be maybe the easiest tip for them to
- 22:30Speaker 5: try to stay on schedule to not just dive back
- 22:34Speaker 5: into the fast food or the fatty foods. If you
- 22:37Speaker 5: were trying to like create a plan that was easy
- 22:39Speaker 5: to kind of follow inconvenient for them, what would be
- 22:42Speaker 5: your advice?
- 22:44Speaker 8: Be reasonable about it, you know what I mean. A
- 22:47Speaker 8: lot of people delve way too deep into a diet
- 22:51Speaker 8: and there's there's the recovery that comes from that, and
- 22:54Speaker 8: I think you have to be realistic about it and
- 22:56Speaker 8: set realistic goals. You know, like if you go and
- 23:00Speaker 8: move remove all the sugar and all the fats and
- 23:02Speaker 8: all the unhealthy stuff from your life, all at the
- 23:05Speaker 8: same time, your your family is not going to life.
- 23:10Speaker 8: So truth be known. I did a spiritual fast and
- 23:13Speaker 8: I usually I do it between November between Thanksgiving and
- 23:17Speaker 8: Christmas and you know, like I did exactly that and
- 23:21Speaker 8: removed all these unhealthy things, and you know, like I
- 23:24Speaker 8: got super fussy, and after about ten days I recovered
- 23:27Speaker 8: from it, and you know, was was good. But uh,
- 23:30Speaker 8: truth be known, and I'm over sharing here. After I
- 23:34Speaker 8: did my fast, you know, there was there's a there's
- 23:37Speaker 8: a return to it. And once you come off the fast,
- 23:39Speaker 8: like you have this or or a diet for that matter,
- 23:42Speaker 8: there's this likelihood that you're going to return heavily to
- 23:45Speaker 8: your old ways of eating, which I did and I
- 23:48Speaker 8: found out the hard way that I'm actually a Type
- 23:50Speaker 8: two diabetic and so wow, uh, you know, like there
- 23:54Speaker 8: is a there is a danger to it, you know,
- 23:56Speaker 8: and a real you know, like you have to be
- 23:58Speaker 8: careful what you're doing when you're eating, and so you know,
- 24:01Speaker 8: growing old is a part of life and I found
- 24:05Speaker 8: that helpful hard way. But you know it also you know,
- 24:09Speaker 8: there is a healthy way to eat and you know,
- 24:12Speaker 8: lots of fiber in your diet. I think, you know,
- 24:15Speaker 8: you have to be realistic about it and set goals
- 24:18Speaker 8: that are attainable without putting yourself in danger. And if
- 24:20Speaker 8: you're going to go on to a heavy diet, you
- 24:22Speaker 8: need to consulted to your doctor, you know, to make
- 24:25Speaker 8: sure that everything is in and check. You know, as
- 24:28Speaker 8: a younger person you probably won't have as much bounce back.
- 24:31Speaker 8: But the older, the older you get and the older
- 24:33Speaker 8: your body gets, you know, more likely it is that
- 24:37Speaker 8: you know something could come of it. So I think
- 24:40Speaker 8: that you know, set set attainable goals.
- 24:43Speaker 7: It's always good to do some sort of like I've
- 24:45Speaker 7: always found it, like the most challenging like self discipline
- 24:49Speaker 7: things to do is a diet. I think most people
- 24:51Speaker 7: find that out. I think a lot of New Year's
- 24:52Speaker 7: diets are set and get broken pretty quick. But that's
- 24:55Speaker 7: like one of the best things you use for this,
- 24:57Speaker 7: Like it's a little disciplined challenge for yourself as you yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 7: as you get older, whatever age you are, you can
- 25:02Speaker 7: eating is something that everybody loves to do, certainly, so
- 25:05Speaker 7: it's hard to get hard to cut that.
- 25:06Speaker 8: Out, I think, you know, like cutting soda out, you know,
- 25:09Speaker 8: like even sugary foods. You know, like take it one
- 25:12Speaker 8: step at a time and eliminate the things that you
- 25:15Speaker 8: are most important to you to get out of your
- 25:16Speaker 8: life and to me, I think that sugary foods obviously,
- 25:19Speaker 8: but you know, you know, saturated fats, there's caffeine. There's
- 25:24Speaker 8: all kinds of stuff that we could take out of
- 25:26Speaker 8: our diet that could make us healthier. You know, you
- 25:29Speaker 8: just have to be realistic about it.
- 25:32Speaker 7: I got a really good question here a hashtag monchies.
- 25:34Speaker 7: Is chef ever going to release a cookbook?
- 25:37Speaker 8: You know, I've been asked that a thousand times, and I,
- 25:41Speaker 8: you know, like I love to write, and I think
- 25:43Speaker 8: that before my life is over, I probably will. I
- 25:46Speaker 8: have some other things that I want to accomplish, you know,
- 25:50Speaker 8: I think they're more impactful for me and for a community,
- 25:54Speaker 8: you know, like I think it's quicker. Cookbooks seem to
- 25:56Speaker 8: kind of be like an uh, you know, a thing
- 25:59Speaker 8: of the past almost, and so I like sharing information
- 26:03Speaker 8: for sure, But taking time to write the book is
- 26:07Speaker 8: that it's consuming, right, and so there's some other things
- 26:11Speaker 8: I think that I would like to accomplish. It kind
- 26:13Speaker 8: of meet the same goals of sharing, sharing food and recipes,
- 26:16Speaker 8: but are are more realistic with time management.
- 26:20Speaker 1: And this is his cookbook. He tells the people everything.
- 26:22Speaker 6: All right exactly, that's right. Yeah, yeah, And I think.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Chef You're like talking to you and just hearing your
- 26:27Speaker 7: stories and how you feel about food and the body
- 26:29Speaker 7: and just like the spiritual and the mental part of everything,
- 26:33Speaker 7: because eating is a spiritual thing certainly, especially if you've
- 26:35Speaker 7: had good food.
- 26:37Speaker 6: Yeah, Like, like I enjoy.
- 26:39Speaker 7: Hearing just not even just like the recipe part, but
- 26:41Speaker 7: just sharing the story about hey, like just what how
- 26:44Speaker 7: you feel about food and your journey with foods. But
- 26:46Speaker 7: it's pretty fantastic. That's why our listeners and certainly we'd
- 26:49Speaker 7: like to hear from you every single week.
- 26:51Speaker 8: Well, I appreciate that, and you know, like that's kind
- 26:53Speaker 8: of the way I want to share things. You know,
- 26:54Speaker 8: to me, it is spiritual, and I think it is
- 26:56Speaker 8: to a lot of people, and you know it's uh
- 27:00Speaker 8: to you inside. You know, when you shared it, it
- 27:01Speaker 8: feels good. And you know, like the way I cook,
- 27:04Speaker 8: when I cook for the people that I cooked for,
- 27:06Speaker 8: you know, it is something that you shared from inside.
- 27:08Speaker 8: And you know, I think that's why it's special that
- 27:10Speaker 8: Louisiana to get together. And we were haul counting this
- 27:13Speaker 8: past weekend and over in Delcolm and and you know,
- 27:16Speaker 8: what was started off as six people ended up being
- 27:19Speaker 8: like thirty people, and you know, crawfish and everything else
- 27:23Speaker 8: and you know, it's beautiful to get people around food
- 27:25Speaker 8: and to share stories and to listen and just enjoy life.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Chef.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Last one before we let you go go to king Cake?
- 27:34Speaker 5: How do we feel about king cake? Someone was asking
- 27:36Speaker 5: if you make your own? But I know baking is
- 27:39Speaker 5: not your favorite thing to do in the kitchen, So
- 27:41Speaker 5: do you make a king cake or do you have a.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Favorite spot that you always pick one up?
- 27:46Speaker 8: Now you know this? This year, so I've been kind
- 27:49Speaker 8: of pushing towards sourdough breads because they're easier digestible. And
- 27:55Speaker 8: I have started doing business with a company called Saint
- 27:58Speaker 8: Brudo Breads and they make sourdough Kingkake, and.
- 28:01Speaker 6: I think pretty damn okay.
- 28:03Speaker 8: Yeah, And it's it's kind of non traditional, right, like
- 28:06Speaker 8: it's it's not one of your big brand names. But
- 28:09Speaker 8: I love the fact that it's sourdough and a digest
- 28:12Speaker 8: here and for me, it kind of meets me in
- 28:14Speaker 8: the middle for what I'm trying to accomplish with my
- 28:16Speaker 8: athletes and you know, what we're trying to do with
- 28:19Speaker 8: the best of you know, the Carnival or or or
- 28:22Speaker 8: Marty Graul or whatever. And so yeah, I don't know
- 28:25Speaker 8: that's the one for me this year.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, what was the name of that one? Again?
- 28:29Speaker 8: Bruno?
- 28:30Speaker 1: All right, I am writing that.
- 28:32Speaker 6: Jeff, do you have a Do you have a sour
- 28:34Speaker 6: dough like mother?
- 28:35Speaker 8: He keeps I don't. It's quite uh, you know, energetic
- 28:41Speaker 8: to put into it, So I trust other people. Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 8: Having said that, you know, I think that if I asked,
- 28:49Speaker 8: I have plenty of friends that had sourdough starters, that
- 28:52Speaker 8: it's actually easier if you take one of theirs and
- 28:54Speaker 8: can create. You know, instead of trying to start your
- 28:57Speaker 8: phone from scratch, if you could convince somebody to give
- 28:59Speaker 8: you a little piece of thing mother, uh, the starter,
- 29:03Speaker 8: the sourdough mother, then you know it actually helps foster
- 29:08Speaker 8: the growth of the of the bacteria.
- 29:10Speaker 7: So you know, just uhs Jacob, so confused.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Mother the hell is a mother?
- 29:20Speaker 6: This guy?
- 29:21Speaker 8: The mother is the starter, you know, like it, you know, like,
- 29:24Speaker 8: if you know what you're doing with the sour dough,
- 29:26Speaker 8: you can have a sour dough starter what you call
- 29:29Speaker 8: what you call starter. Once it gets up and living
- 29:31Speaker 8: and creates, you know, it's called a mother. It's it's
- 29:34Speaker 8: like uh uh you know this living creature. So to speak,
- 29:39Speaker 8: you like, it's full of all this uh bacteria that
- 29:42Speaker 8: live in there. And so when you have once your
- 29:45Speaker 8: starter has has grown to the place that it's living
- 29:48Speaker 8: in your wherever you keep it, it's uh, it's called
- 29:51Speaker 8: a mother.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Flinn. How the hell did you know about this?
- 29:53Speaker 6: Come smart?
- 29:54Speaker 1: No, I know that's not it.
- 29:56Speaker 3: M h.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 29:57Speaker 7: Just we used to have like starters to when I
- 30:00Speaker 7: was growing up on a couple of different breads, and
- 30:02Speaker 7: I don't know it's I thought it was pretty common knowledge.
- 30:03Speaker 5: Job, well, I had money, I asked if we had
- 30:07Speaker 5: a mother Kane had money, Chef, Chef. We appreciate you
- 30:11Speaker 5: every single week. Enjoy the rest of your week. We'll
- 30:13Speaker 5: catch up again soon.
- 30:14Speaker 8: You guys.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Take care you as well I did, but grow up
- 30:20Speaker 5: a little bit, lad, turn you up here. You know
- 30:23Speaker 5: what the hell they're talking about.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I'd actually never heard of a sourdough mother before. Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 1: next time you talk about that. I've always.
- 30:32Speaker 5: I've always wanted to get into sourdough baking and like
- 30:37Speaker 5: making the bread myself or whatever.
- 30:38Speaker 4: But it all seems way.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Too complicated, Like I don't know what a starter is.
- 30:42Speaker 4: I don't know why I need a starter. I don't
- 30:43Speaker 4: know why I need to feed the starter.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Like it's funny that makes mate sourdough bread is actually
- 30:47Speaker 5: really white bread.
- 30:48Speaker 7: Of you.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Fair enought the whole foods and picks them up.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Yeah, but I feel like people Robertson's and Rouses or whatever,
- 30:58Speaker 5: the sour dough bread you make it up.
- 31:00Speaker 7: You're not in your thirties yet that I think once
- 31:01Speaker 7: you get to that point, I think at that point
- 31:02Speaker 7: you're gonna get in the more of the sourdough game.
- 31:04Speaker 4: So you see, I'm already kind of into it. Is
- 31:06Speaker 4: just so confusing to me that I like.
- 31:07Speaker 5: I want to, but it's way to when I pull
- 31:10Speaker 5: up to Rouses and grab a sourdough loaf.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Well, you're in.
- 31:13Speaker 7: Like the half marathon. Well I feel like that. Like
- 31:14Speaker 7: that follows by the live laugh love sign.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I don't think I'll ever be live laugh love. Nothing
- 31:21Speaker 1: about me says live laugh love.
- 31:25Speaker 6: That's good.
- 31:26Speaker 7: I saw the post the other day that said, you know,
- 31:28Speaker 7: you could tell somebody used to be a party animal
- 31:30Speaker 7: they run half marathons.
- 31:31Speaker 6: So I don't know is that true? Okay?
- 31:37Speaker 4: High school me was bad, Okay, so maybe so.
- 31:41Speaker 6: It checks out a little bit.
- 31:42Speaker 5: Everybody's got it. Yeah, all right, sourdough mother got it.
- 31:47Speaker 5: More O TV when we come back here live from Mobile, Alabama.

- 33:42Speaker 5: If you want a kidney shape, if you want a rectangle,
- 33:44Speaker 5: we gonna say dream pool.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Maybe your dream is a kidney shape. Yeah, maybe it does.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Maybe it's a rectangle, Yeah, then it's depending on Maybe
- 33:50Speaker 1: I'll go square.

- 33:53Speaker 5: your name with a pool. You can do the LSU
- 33:57Speaker 5: pool like they have at the what they call that thing,
- 33:59Speaker 5: the wreck. Yep, I was looking for a luner. She's

- 34:26Speaker 5: com is a website for Russell Pool Company.
- 34:30Speaker 7: People kind of getting on you in the chat a
- 34:32Speaker 7: little bit about what they said, Jake saying can't had money, yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 7: because he doesn't know how to make sourdough bread.
- 34:40Speaker 6: It was pretty comical response.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Really, I mean it feels like something like you gotta
- 34:45Speaker 1: be kind of bougie. No, dude's blue collar?
- 34:48Speaker 8: Is it?
- 34:49Speaker 7: That's gritty. That's a mason jar of just some bacteria. Foreman,
- 34:54Speaker 7: it's called the mother. It feels real whitebread. Sorry, sorry, chat?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Ever heard of that? We had? Uh?
- 35:03Speaker 6: Well, you learned something new every day.
- 35:04Speaker 5: God Elanja, I don't know what y'all have. We had
- 35:06Speaker 5: wonder bread growing up where I grew up. It's like
- 35:10Speaker 5: Miss Well, we'd get the H TB the Hill Country
- 35:12Speaker 5: one or Miss Baird's or something like.
- 35:15Speaker 1: That, maybe his Blue Bunny brand.
- 35:20Speaker 8: That was.
- 35:20Speaker 5: When you get upgraded, you get the peter Pan peanut
- 35:23Speaker 5: butter that I'm sure it's not peanut butter.
- 35:26Speaker 6: Oh there's peanuts in it.
- 35:27Speaker 5: You think, Yeah, you get to have the county market.
- 35:31Speaker 5: Shout out to the county market, all right. It didn't
- 35:35Speaker 5: make sourdough though.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 35:40Speaker 7: I think sourdough has became popular in San Francisco.
- 35:44Speaker 6: I believe.
- 35:45Speaker 5: Can y'all tell the meth gator story? We did a
- 35:49Speaker 5: full episode two hours on meth gators one time.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I think it was. I think it was a Florida
- 35:54Speaker 1: man that.
- 35:57Speaker 5: Somehow, some way in miss play misplaced on his myth
- 36:02Speaker 5: and gators got into said math and it was creating
- 36:05Speaker 5: a meth gator.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yes, hyper aggressive gators, yes, hyper aggressive.
- 36:11Speaker 7: I pictured it kind of like a rabbit animal with
- 36:15Speaker 7: like rabies, right, yeah, that's what rabbit means, but an
- 36:19Speaker 7: animal with rabies going crazy looking for I mean, if
- 36:21Speaker 7: you'all ever seen they made the movie, I don't know
- 36:26Speaker 7: if it's bath based on the meth Gators. I think
- 36:29Speaker 7: it was actually based on kind of like a true story.
- 36:32Speaker 7: Not a true story of course, like this story, but
- 36:33Speaker 7: the plotline. But Cocaina Bears. Do you remember that that
- 36:37Speaker 7: movie coming up? Mm hm, it was fantastic.
- 36:40Speaker 6: What was it called.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Cocaine Bears?
- 36:44Speaker 7: Yes, Cocaine Bears. Okay, yes, yeah. I try to church
- 36:47Speaker 7: it up with Cocaina not really knowing the rules around
- 36:52Speaker 7: here a radio game. I mean, cocaine is not a
- 36:55Speaker 7: bad word. I don't know, bad habit not a bad word.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Do drugs?
- 37:00Speaker 1: I tell you, I can't have money. Yeah, if you
- 37:01Speaker 1: got one of those problems. Ye, all those Swan's doing
- 37:05Speaker 1: on there? Wait what the Swans? Oh yeah, those are creepy.
- 37:10Speaker 7: What is that?
- 37:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:11Speaker 7: All right, I've never been in a place that wanted
- 37:14Speaker 7: to be that was like such a big poser mobile
- 37:18Speaker 7: wants to be New Orleans really bad. Yeah, they claimed
- 37:22Speaker 7: the first Marty Gras.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Yeah, it's got the downtown, little strip's got a little
- 37:26Speaker 5: New Orleans field.
- 37:27Speaker 7: They about that start their parades, which respect you know what,
- 37:31Speaker 7: it's uh, go go, you gotta you gotta just throw
- 37:34Speaker 7: respect to the game, the Louisiana game, the Marti Gras game,
- 37:39Speaker 7: but they claimed the first one.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Like I always say, it's
- 37:44Speaker 1: not who did it first, who does it best? And
- 37:47Speaker 1: if you if you did it first? Cool man. Yeah,
- 37:49Speaker 1: I love coming to Mobile once a year for four days.
- 37:54Speaker 5: But when people say, Marty Graul, you don't you don't
- 37:56Speaker 5: think Mobile Alabama think.
- 37:59Speaker 7: Mobile is Well, it's been a cool little downtown area.
- 38:02Speaker 7: It has been cold, so it's kind of like not
- 38:05Speaker 7: like you kinda want to go walk around a whole lot.
- 38:07Speaker 6: But it has been nice.
- 38:08Speaker 7: It's been my first like extended stay in Mobile before
- 38:11Speaker 7: I came to a convention one time a couple of
- 38:13Speaker 7: years ago for the National Guard. But it's been very good.
- 38:16Speaker 7: The Senior Ball has been fantastic. It's our last show. Hey,
- 38:20Speaker 7: you're going to be gone a little bit next week. Huh,
- 38:23Speaker 7: just like the whole week. Oh man, I'll tell you what.
- 38:25Speaker 7: I just got to get to the finish line. I
- 38:28Speaker 7: have to get to Okay, So we're here. It is Thursday,
- 38:31Speaker 7: January twenty ninth. I am off tomorrow because my god,
- 38:36Speaker 7: I need to see my family. I'm going to see
- 38:38Speaker 7: them tomorrow and I'm going to see them on Saturday
- 38:41Speaker 7: and then I fly out on the first of February
- 38:44Speaker 7: to go to San Francisco. I'm going to be there
- 38:48Speaker 7: doing multiple shows, probably three shows a day, the second, third, fourth, fifth,
- 38:54Speaker 7: and sixth, and then I fly back late that night.
- 38:58Speaker 5: I think it's a red eye, and I get to
- 39:00Speaker 5: Baton Rouge super late. I'll be off to seventh and eighth,
- 39:03Speaker 5: and then that's the finish line. Just got to get
- 39:06Speaker 5: to February the ninth. I just got to get to
- 39:08Speaker 5: February the ninth, and then we do a week of
- 39:10Speaker 5: shows and then we both are taking vacation for the
- 39:13Speaker 5: week that the kids are out for Mardi Gras. So
- 39:16Speaker 5: I have gone, you know, multiple rounds of the playoff.
- 39:21Speaker 5: I did the National Championship, we do this here, what's
- 39:25Speaker 5: that last? I don't even know what event we're at
- 39:28Speaker 5: here at the Senior Bowl. Then we'll go to Super Bowl,
- 39:31Speaker 5: and then I'm off until the Draft in April. But
- 39:35Speaker 5: it's not like like I don't mind the work. I
- 39:36Speaker 5: do two shows every single day. It's not the work,
- 39:38Speaker 5: it's the being away from.
- 39:39Speaker 7: Yeah, being away from family stuff for sure. So almost
- 39:43Speaker 7: to the finish line, Bud, I.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Can see it will be I can see it now.
- 39:46Speaker 8: You know.
- 39:47Speaker 5: Super Bowl Radio is the most intense thing I do
- 39:50Speaker 5: all year. It's three hours every day solo. Oh and
- 39:54Speaker 5: it's it's a pop up channel on Serious XM, so
- 39:57Speaker 5: it's my own channel for a week.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I don't think give you an old patna I should.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 40:01Speaker 5: They like it because it's it's Guess Tavy, So I'm
- 40:03Speaker 5: not gonna act I can buy myself. I'm probably buy
- 40:05Speaker 5: myself other than three hours an hour of it per day.
- 40:08Speaker 5: And there's no there's no laundress cause to throw anything
- 40:12Speaker 5: off of ye. But look, it is what it is,
- 40:15Speaker 5: is my third year doing and I love it's great energy.
- 40:17Speaker 5: So we'll see and be great. You're gonna do like
- 40:19Speaker 5: there's a little time time change.
- 40:21Speaker 7: You're gonna be two hours behind us, certainly, so you'll
- 40:23Speaker 7: have to wake up early even if you want to
- 40:24Speaker 7: join us in that third hour. But be it'll be
- 40:27Speaker 7: myself Laundra Tayte the tripod rolling all week next week
- 40:32Speaker 7: from Baton Rouge and you'll join the show as much
- 40:34Speaker 7: as you can. Be great to get insight, first hand
- 40:37Speaker 7: experience from the radio row. They're super I know it's
- 40:40Speaker 7: a popping place to be it's a place to be. Yeah,
- 40:42Speaker 7: and is that actually in San Francisco?
- 40:45Speaker 5: I think the radio row is going to be in
- 40:46Speaker 5: San Francisco. The game is in Santa Clara. But I
- 40:49Speaker 5: don't go to the game. I have no desire to
- 40:51Speaker 5: go to the game. I am going to be on
- 40:53Speaker 5: the first bird smoking Friday when I finish up.
- 40:57Speaker 6: Good for you, buddy, Wow, it'd be fun though. We
- 40:59Speaker 6: fantas us.
- 41:02Speaker 1: That shows that though five am.
- 41:06Speaker 7: That's the reason that the that's whole show. We just
- 41:09Speaker 7: couldn't Yeah, we just couldn't figure out the whole of
- 41:11Speaker 7: the time change. So probably be a lot of the
- 41:13Speaker 7: same next year because it will be LA next year,
- 41:15Speaker 7: Is that right?
- 41:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 41:16Speaker 5: I hope we find a way to change the clock though,
- 41:18Speaker 5: because LA is going to be a great time. LA
- 41:21Speaker 5: does a good job hosting. I'm to be honest with you.
- 41:23Speaker 5: San Francisco is not my favorite spot for any big game.
- 41:26Speaker 5: It's just everything spread out on the convention Center is
- 41:29Speaker 5: not nearly the same size as the other ones. Uh,
- 41:33Speaker 5: So LA will be a better time Las Vegas for
- 41:37Speaker 5: college LA for the Super Bowl.
- 41:39Speaker 6: So well.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Chargers Packers, bucket, bucket for sure happening all right, we'll
- 41:47Speaker 5: take our last break of the show. Put a bow
- 41:50Speaker 5: on this edition. Remember we've got one more day of practice,
- 41:53Speaker 5: so be sure to follow all the social media ESPN
- 41:57Speaker 5: and OTB on Instagram. A Luna doing a great job
- 42:00Speaker 5: having all the content there for you. So another day
- 42:02Speaker 5: of practice. We'll have some content from practice and we'll
- 42:05Speaker 5: close out today's show.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Will we come back here on OTB.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Off the bench?
- 42:12Speaker 6: All right?
- 42:13Speaker 1: I say you about a friends over at trash Rangers.
- 42:15Speaker 5: Obviously what they can do for you, residential, commercial, trash pickup,
- 42:18Speaker 5: what they can do for you as far as a
- 42:19Speaker 5: roll off dumpster, three different sizes to choose from. But
- 42:22Speaker 5: don't forget these sanitation department if you need a portable
- 42:26Speaker 5: toilet coming up for the parades, the Mutergart Parade, Spanish
- 42:30Speaker 5: Town Parade coming up in a couple of weeks. They
- 42:32Speaker 5: have got you covered. We told you yesterday and we
- 42:34Speaker 5: meant it. You don't want those people in your house
- 42:36Speaker 5: using the restroom. They're your friend, you're cool, like you
- 42:39Speaker 5: can catch beads in my front yard. We can eat
- 42:41Speaker 5: and drink a couple of cold pops. But I don't
- 42:43Speaker 5: need you using the restroom. That's why you call trash Rangers.
- 42:46Speaker 5: They'll have those portable toilets set up for you. So
- 42:49Speaker 5: go ahead, plan ahead, and.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Go to trash rangers dot com.
- 42:52Speaker 7: That's trash Randers Rangers Sanitation, but trash Rangers trash Removal

- 43:06Speaker 7: they are fantastic. Commercial, they can size, they're probably they
- 43:09Speaker 7: can pick up as many times as you need a
- 43:11Speaker 7: week to fit your project and roll op dumpsters whatever
- 43:14Speaker 7: you need three sizes to choose from the best trash
- 43:17Speaker 7: removal and sanitation removal service in Louisiana, trash Rangers dot com.

- 44:01Speaker 5: on O t B, we just had Saints general manager
- 44:04Speaker 5: Mickey Loomis walk by. He didn't he didn't want to
- 44:07Speaker 5: do the ask Mickey segment though, I don't know why.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Yeah, hey, he's want to know. On his last draft.
- 44:17Speaker 6: Oh yeah, hey, can we go to it now? It's
- 44:19Speaker 6: called a wind streak.
- 44:20Speaker 1: It has been done before. A little Lou.
- 44:23Speaker 7: Brown said, but you know, recency biased. There's no GM
- 44:29Speaker 7: better based on the last round.
- 44:33Speaker 5: Oh man, look at Mickey has always been like with
- 44:37Speaker 5: this time anytime I've ever had him on NFL radio
- 44:40Speaker 5: when I've gone down to training camp or whatever.
- 44:43Speaker 1: So maybe one day we can't have the ask Mickey segment,
- 44:47Speaker 1: what do you think? Then he'll do it. Maybe we
- 44:48Speaker 1: should just ask maybe yeah, maybe we'll filter the question.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Filter just yeah, we'll filter this all right.
- 44:56Speaker 6: What you're looking for today? Practice anything? Anything your mind?
