- 1:36Speaker 6: You have a cough button.
- 1:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I forgot it.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Like even even even when it was bad, you
- 1:41Speaker 2: still had a button, even if it was falling apart.
- 1:44Speaker 4: It's gonna keep the button on the for the next
- 1:48Speaker 4: three hours, Bud.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Keep talking to me that way.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Just keep your hand on it.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Ready anyways, Hello, Jake flynneland all here, what's the Thursday,
- 2:02Speaker 2: last day of April I knew that too.
- 2:05Speaker 6: May flowers coming up?
- 2:07Speaker 4: All right, it's exciting.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Yeah right, it is.
- 2:10Speaker 4: How fun is that?
- 2:11Speaker 6: I love the summer months, do you?
- 2:14Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 2:15Speaker 6: May through July. I'm about to thrive.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Why is that?
- 2:18Speaker 6: I just love the heat and I love miserable heat.
- 2:20Speaker 7: I love the sun like I love feeling the sun
- 2:23Speaker 7: burned my skin.
- 2:26Speaker 3: It's just like, well, just like I really enjoy self harm.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Guys. I mean, I like you good, tanto, but that's
- 2:35Speaker 5: taking a step.
- 2:36Speaker 6: It like gives me life.
- 2:38Speaker 4: It's definitely not my favorite.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Literally gives you power.
- 2:46Speaker 4: It does. There's a lot of receptors. It gives you.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I think, I like, like March first to like May thirty.
- 2:55Speaker 5: That's a sweet spot.
- 2:56Speaker 4: And that's a good one. It's a good it's a
- 2:58Speaker 4: good time.
- 2:59Speaker 6: It's your three month.
- 3:00Speaker 5: He's gonna go in the winter.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm fall.
- 3:03Speaker 6: So like October November.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, it probably starts, probably starts mid September, but definitely
- 3:09Speaker 4: October probably my favorite month of the year. But October, November, December,
- 3:15Speaker 4: because like getting into the fall, it's like mid football season.
- 3:19Speaker 4: It's like the weather's fantastic. Just it's good vibes all around.
- 3:23Speaker 4: You got kids running around because they got holidays coming
- 3:26Speaker 4: out there.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Well I didn't. I didn't know we were going deep
- 3:28Speaker 5: into like the things that were going on.
- 3:31Speaker 3: At a deep level for me, weatherwise, it's October like that.
- 3:36Speaker 3: That's my favorite. I go September to November. That area.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Loveve it from a heat standpoint. You know, I live here,
- 3:44Speaker 4: so I can't complain, but I hate it.
- 3:46Speaker 6: I love it.
- 3:47Speaker 5: I hate like like heavy, hardy. Yeah, I don't like it.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Like when you walk outside you can like hear it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: But I choose to choose to live here. So question complaint,
- 3:57Speaker 2: question in the back. Yeah, thank you. Uh jacobester OTV
- 4:03Speaker 2: keep your hand up for Malta have a hydration company
- 4:06Speaker 2: and you hate you. From a business standpoint, I love it. Okay,
- 4:12Speaker 2: that's great. You should want to know this is at
- 4:14Speaker 2: all times.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah. So like when it's middle of the summer and
- 4:17Speaker 4: I walk out and I immediately like starts popping out
- 4:20Speaker 4: of my forehead and it's miserable and I can't I
- 4:23Speaker 4: hardly get a breath in. I'm like, yep, this is perfect,
- 4:26Speaker 4: this is perfect weather.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I love it.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I want it to be one hundred and eighty five degrees.
- 4:35Speaker 5: You want other people to be hot. Yeah, but I
- 4:38Speaker 5: want to just stay inside.
- 4:41Speaker 7: But like after you're outside and you go inside, doesn't
- 4:44Speaker 7: it feel so good? You know, like you you're outside
- 4:48Speaker 7: and it's hot and you're like oh, and then you
- 4:51Speaker 7: go inside and the ac just hits different. Right, That's
- 4:55Speaker 7: why I also like it.
- 4:56Speaker 4: It's kind of like saying like getting sick, because when
- 4:59Speaker 4: I it better, it feels so good.
- 5:02Speaker 6: That's fair.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I feel like a new man.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Feel like a new man. This is a great feeling.
- 5:08Speaker 4: But yeah, you're right, it does it hit it walking
- 5:10Speaker 4: inside when it's hot.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Like you do, like a really hard workout outside when
- 5:14Speaker 7: it's super hot outside, right, and then you take a
- 5:17Speaker 7: shower and you lay in bed and you feel so good.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Feeling Ever in July, we're outside cutting that grass, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 3: you get all dirty, super hot, that post shower hits Yeah,
- 5:33Speaker 3: that's like the that's.
- 5:34Speaker 6: It's like the best shower of your life.
- 5:36Speaker 4: And also sets up some really good glasses of water.
- 5:39Speaker 4: You know, I've read a glass of water that it's
- 5:41Speaker 4: just like what, Yeah, that's the best thing.
- 5:43Speaker 6: I've ever had, or like an ice cold diet coke A.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Now you talking like yeah, yeah, not getting out of BUCkies.
- 5:51Speaker 5: But no, you can just the fountain, the funtain just
- 5:55Speaker 5: get a can.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Who wants to get a can or a bottle at
- 5:59Speaker 4: a gas station?
- 6:00Speaker 3: I love a can.
- 6:01Speaker 5: Soda and soda is elite?
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yeah, can't.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Soda is good. It's elite is a strong word. Out
- 6:08Speaker 4: of a fountain, out of a fountain machine is elite.
- 6:11Speaker 5: An ice cold canned diet coke?
- 6:14Speaker 4: Its good. Now, those of y'all choosing drink bottles, those
- 6:20Speaker 4: drink out of the classic bottle bottles. You got issues.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Bottles aren't cold enough.
- 6:25Speaker 4: You got mental issues? If those are the that's like
- 6:27Speaker 4: you're choosing a plastic bottle over a camp.
- 6:30Speaker 3: A typically go fountain, so a can bottle.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Not all fountains are built the same either, Some of
- 6:41Speaker 4: those ratio is a little bit different.
- 6:46Speaker 5: Anyway.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I guess we all agreed that extreme heat sucks mm hmm.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Except me.
- 6:58Speaker 5: How do we find it right here?
- 7:00Speaker 7: Because of May, last day of April, the same wavelength there? Wait,
- 7:07Speaker 7: you know what, I just noticed what you got rid
- 7:11Speaker 7: of your mustache?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Sure I didn't hear me when I I can't say
- 7:13Speaker 2: that on there, but I said something about it today.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I didn't hear it.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I was listening to a young thug.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Lit my upper left for first in a while.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Wait when did you get rid of it?
- 7:24Speaker 4: Last night? About forty eight?
- 7:27Speaker 6: So I didn't miss it, thank you, Thank you for
- 7:30Speaker 6: the time.
- 7:31Speaker 4: That's like I think it was, so he didn't miss it. Yes, okay,
- 7:34Speaker 4: just one of those things life's circle, you know, you
- 7:37Speaker 4: go through different seasons.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Had for a while.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Yeah, I had it for a minute because you you
- 7:42Speaker 4: brought it in and what the fall?
- 7:44Speaker 6: It was like football season?
- 7:46Speaker 4: Definitely football season. When you brought it in. I was like,
- 7:48Speaker 4: all right, I'm gonna try that too. Yeah, and then
- 7:49Speaker 4: I was like this is this is this looks?
- 7:54Speaker 3: We were like is this Matt Flinn or Tom Seller?
- 7:58Speaker 4: And yeah, So but we're gonna right little mustache off
- 8:01Speaker 4: right now, because you know what, you can always grow back.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Yeah, So what are you going to do now with
- 8:07Speaker 6: your facial hair?
- 8:08Speaker 4: I'm probably gonna forget about it for about two and
- 8:10Speaker 4: a half weeks, and then I'll come.
- 8:11Speaker 5: And shave it nothing fun.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Once, and then I'll forget about it for another two
- 8:15Speaker 4: and a half weeks.
- 8:16Speaker 6: You're not gonna do something fun with it?
- 8:18Speaker 4: What would fundy?
- 8:20Speaker 6: I don't know. Like a go tea or something.
- 8:22Speaker 4: See a go tea a little handlebar or something. I
- 8:25Speaker 4: don't just really think a go tea looks good on anybody.
- 8:28Speaker 6: I mean no, but you could do it.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I could do it. You're right, Yeah, handle bars would
- 8:35Speaker 4: be good, little little chin strap.
- 8:41Speaker 7: I gotta agree with Brad the veteran in the chat
- 8:43Speaker 7: right now. The coke freestyle machines are bottom tier and complete.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I hate the freestyle machines. Suck.
- 8:51Speaker 6: Get them out your restaurants.
- 8:53Speaker 7: Yeah, cool thoughts, h firehouse.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Cool thought.
- 8:57Speaker 5: But they're very cool thought. I appreciate, but they don't
- 9:01Speaker 5: taste like what you're pushing.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Yeah, nobody wants all those ad ends.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Also, what is a freestyle machine?
- 9:07Speaker 6: It's like, remember like the touch screen one.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I just didn't know. You can go like you
- 9:12Speaker 3: can you can get like an orange coke or like yeah, yeah,
- 9:16Speaker 3: a line, Doctor Pepper's awful.
- 9:18Speaker 4: There's too many lines. There's too many tubes in the
- 9:21Speaker 4: back that are feeding. It gets mixed up, it gets
- 9:25Speaker 4: drips from other stuff.
- 9:26Speaker 3: That's actually a good point because like the first time
- 9:27Speaker 3: I use one of my coolest thing ever. Now I
- 9:29Speaker 3: see them and I'm like, and if there's if there's
- 9:32Speaker 3: more than two people in line, you're waiting twenty minutes
- 9:34Speaker 3: because nobody can decide what they want.
- 9:36Speaker 4: That's a good point. Or the buttons aren't working.
- 9:38Speaker 3: There's something's out right, Yeah, yeah, yeah, something like that,
- 9:42Speaker 3: like gray unfaded. You're like, well, can't get any of that.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Just give me the fountain machine or I got take
- 9:50Speaker 4: the cup and I pushed the.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Trigger right.
- 9:55Speaker 6: The old suicide remember, Oh yeah, you do all of them?
- 9:59Speaker 5: Good. What do they call that? The kids?
- 10:01Speaker 4: And you just what are the kids call that these days?
- 10:04Speaker 4: Because they don't definitely don't call that because they got canceled.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I don't remember what we called it. We used to do.
- 10:13Speaker 3: The gaddies.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Are gaddy. There's always a pizza was Masia's. Yeah that too.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Nobody knows what that is, but I do you do
- 10:26Speaker 4: Java Kins?
- 10:27Speaker 5: No, the Kins or a Barbie sucks.
- 10:36Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean, this is this is kings
- 10:39Speaker 4: King's pizza kuff We had Johnny's. I told you it
- 10:43Speaker 4: was the first place that ever kings pretty much. I'm
- 10:46Speaker 4: pretty sure Ken's invented the pepper. Oh yeah, you did
- 10:50Speaker 4: them p w marks in the chat. That's a strong
- 10:55Speaker 4: stance to take fountain drinks suck way too inconsistent. That
- 11:00Speaker 4: is a strong I would agree that they can be inconsistent,
- 11:05Speaker 4: but they're elite no matter.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Like.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, if you're getting the ratio is at
- 11:10Speaker 4: least close.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:13Speaker 7: You know the bee Quick that's on Perkins. Yeah, they
- 11:17Speaker 7: have PIB in the fountain there.
- 11:20Speaker 4: You have PIB on the Paltain. So you you talked
- 11:22Speaker 4: about PIB yesterday? Are you pip PIP?
- 11:24Speaker 7: I do like PIB, but I forgot that I talked
- 11:26Speaker 7: about it yesterdays.
- 11:27Speaker 6: I didn't mean to bring two days in a.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Row, but to that point, I brought up Gaddies. I
- 11:33Speaker 3: was like, you should get pi Gaddis.
- 11:34Speaker 6: They got it at Chipotle too.
- 11:36Speaker 5: Pib is.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You know a lot of times PIB was if you
- 11:41Speaker 2: don't have doctor Pepper, yeah you get PIB.
- 11:43Speaker 5: Okay.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I don't know that I've ever met anybody that liked
- 11:45Speaker 2: PIB more than doctor Pepper.
- 11:47Speaker 7: I love Doctor Pepper, but sometimes I'll go for a
- 11:51Speaker 7: PIB instead. Like I was telling y'all, we were coming
- 11:53Speaker 7: back from Starkville and we stopped at a gas station
- 11:56Speaker 7: in Mississippi, and I went into the gas station to
- 11:59Speaker 7: get doctor Pepper but I saw a PIB and I
- 12:01Speaker 7: was like, oh, this would hit right now, just because
- 12:03Speaker 7: I never have.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I can't taste the PIB in my brain right now.
- 12:06Speaker 4: I mean it's similar, it's.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Very similar Doctor Pepper, but like maybe a little spicier.
- 12:12Speaker 4: I gotta say something, and this is not going to
- 12:14Speaker 4: be a popular opinion in this room.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I'm so excited for this.
- 12:17Speaker 6: We don't like doctor Pepper.
- 12:18Speaker 4: And I don't even like I don't even like looking
- 12:22Speaker 4: in the mirror at the person who's saying this. Okay,
- 12:25Speaker 4: I grew up on doctor Pepper. I probably drank more
- 12:27Speaker 4: Doctor Pepper than water. Loved it the best thing ever.
- 12:31Speaker 4: That's that's that was refreshing. I don't really like it anymore.
- 12:35Speaker 6: That's heartbreaking.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But I didn't like coke when I was a kid too,
- 12:38Speaker 4: so I kind of switched over to Dike coke and
- 12:41Speaker 4: now I prefer that flavor and it again, it pains
- 12:45Speaker 4: me to say that, but I Lacey will get it
- 12:49Speaker 4: every now and then you'll get like a diet doctor Pepper.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Whatever it is.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and I taste it, I'm like, yeah, I'm just
- 12:55Speaker 4: gonna go back to my coke.
- 12:56Speaker 3: There's a lot of stuff out there. I mean that
- 12:58Speaker 3: makes sense, Like I don't like saying it. There's a
- 13:01Speaker 3: lot of things that like I hated when I was younger,
- 13:03Speaker 3: like sweet potato. Hated sweet potato, grown up love it now.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Really he has lost That's that's fair.
- 13:10Speaker 5: I don't. I was a kid that that drank Mountain
- 13:13Speaker 5: dew Code Red as a kid. Well, yeah, I just.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Thought of like drinking that now. I mean I was Serge,
- 13:21Speaker 2: mellow yellow, you name it.
- 13:23Speaker 4: If it was yellow, it was going down, yeah, sure,
- 13:27Speaker 4: vault yeah, oh yeah, a little bit vault amp energy.
- 13:31Speaker 3: You'll remember those.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Yeah, you're probably a little too young for Serge. I
- 13:35Speaker 2: don't remember search.
- 13:37Speaker 5: Yeah, they can itself look toxic.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I actually just finished the twelve pack of Code Red
- 13:44Speaker 3: in my fridge two weeks ago.
- 13:46Speaker 5: You had a pat. They still sell Code Red seleroceries
- 13:50Speaker 5: and of.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Course Taylor is the one that has.
- 13:53Speaker 4: This was at the This.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Was at the Murphy Express gas station and wall I
- 14:00Speaker 3: walk in and get in a pack of Doctor Pepper
- 14:02Speaker 3: and they have like every soda imaginable. It's like three
- 14:05Speaker 3: for like you know, fifteen bucks or whatever. I sold
- 14:08Speaker 3: Code Red. I was like, I ain't had that in
- 14:09Speaker 3: a minute. I grabbed it. Oh yeah, Oh dude, twelve
- 14:13Speaker 3: pack of cans.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Awesome, big day for you. Oh yeah.
- 14:18Speaker 4: But a couple of years ago, Lacey made a cake
- 14:22Speaker 4: at home. It's called a sun Drop cake, Sundrop coke,
- 14:25Speaker 4: or the sun Drop drink. You remember that one way? Yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 4: uh huh with some cakes. She used that for like, yeah,
- 14:34Speaker 4: seven upcakes, so that I guess it's so good.
- 14:39Speaker 5: I guess some Sundrop guy.
- 14:43Speaker 4: We had a kid that came to our school, like
- 14:47Speaker 4: in fourth or fifth grade from up north somewhere. I
- 14:50Speaker 4: don't remember where. Probably it was probably Arkansas, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 4: but he was up north.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Are you Yankee?
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't remember where he's fro But he came out.
- 15:00Speaker 4: It was only there for a year, but he had
- 15:05Speaker 4: introduced us all to mellow yellow at the time, and
- 15:09Speaker 4: we were all mountain dewros, you know what I mean.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Mellow yellow. They didn't have that around. They would get
- 15:13Speaker 4: it shipped in from back where they were from. And
- 15:17Speaker 4: he had a mellow yellow refrigerator at his house. This
- 15:20Speaker 4: guy talk of.
- 15:21Speaker 6: The school mellow yellow.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Mellow yellow. Basically, just as much as you wanted, whenever
- 15:28Speaker 4: you wanted in the mellow yellow fridge.
- 15:31Speaker 3: I could see you all at school and be like, hey,
- 15:32Speaker 3: you'll see Jimmy over there. He's partying with some new stuff.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Yeah, party with some new stuff. So we go to
- 15:38Speaker 4: the convenience store and be like, hey, y'all got any
- 15:40Speaker 4: mellow yellow.
- 15:42Speaker 5: Person working there?
- 15:43Speaker 4: Was like, no, get out of here, you Yankees. We
- 15:45Speaker 4: don't want to care that stuff.
- 15:47Speaker 5: We'll serve your cameraund here.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Anyway, he left after a year, changed our lives.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Didn't make it. He didn't make it.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Hey for a good time to go back to mellow
- 16:00Speaker 4: yellow land.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, I didn't to that.
- 16:07Speaker 6: I'm gonna I'm gonna throw you under the bus here
- 16:11Speaker 6: a little bit. But you don't care. Oh you know
- 16:14Speaker 6: the song that's like Havanah No, No.
- 16:16Speaker 7: I walked in and Flint seeing it, and he's like, Savannah,
- 16:21Speaker 7: so you're going to Georgia?
- 16:24Speaker 4: Yeah, because I'm an American, right, So.
- 16:27Speaker 6: You don't want to go to Cuba to Hana.
- 16:32Speaker 5: Be honest.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I was just singing heart up, but like it just
- 16:36Speaker 3: maybe laugh. Matt's like, she loves Savannah Georgia.
- 16:39Speaker 5: I'll tell you something about Savannah Georgia.
- 16:43Speaker 4: It's in America. I would rather go there than Havanah.
- 16:46Speaker 3: It's easier to get to.
- 16:47Speaker 4: It's definitely easier to get to. Why would you want
- 16:49Speaker 4: to go to Havanah?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Actually i've actually heard Savannah Georgia is like really nice.
- 16:53Speaker 4: It is very nice. Thank you son your face now,
- 16:58Speaker 4: you're right. I don't know if I agree with people
- 17:08Speaker 4: saying they want to go to Cuba. Yeah, for what reason?
- 17:12Speaker 5: What do you want to do?
- 17:14Speaker 3: I think you can.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Yeah, you can go.

- 21:23Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that's so pure.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Yeah it is, and you'd have to know her.
- 21:28Speaker 2: She's very very pure, very very much so sweet, sweetest
- 21:31Speaker 2: in the world.
- 21:32Speaker 5: My dad.
- 21:35Speaker 4: That is pretty good, though, Yeah, shameless by Garth Brooks
- 21:41Speaker 4: saving it kind of sounds like it if you think about.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It, very underrated Garth Burks songs. So I'm trying to
- 21:52Speaker 2: think about what ever think it? This is your father,
- 21:56Speaker 2: so I mean it kind of sounds like it.
- 22:02Speaker 5: David has a man can be Yeah, hear what you
- 22:07Speaker 5: want to hear. So he passed that Jane down to you.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Huh right, that's where you got it from. H were
- 22:20Speaker 6: you once?
- 22:22Speaker 7: What?
- 22:23Speaker 4: Who's your Who is the best? Not your favorite best
- 22:27Speaker 4: country Western band or singer of all time?
- 22:32Speaker 3: My favorite is Alan Jackson.
- 22:34Speaker 6: He just said, not your favorite, that's your favorite?
- 22:36Speaker 3: The best George has the most number one his.
- 22:38Speaker 2: The best, the best, the best, the best, the best,
- 22:41Speaker 2: the best.
- 22:42Speaker 7: I would say George Straight or George Jones, one of
- 22:46Speaker 7: the georgis O God.
- 22:48Speaker 5: I mean, I look at I love Garth Brooks.
- 22:53Speaker 8: He's going Georgia Florida line. Whatever, Florida Georgia line. I'm
- 22:58Speaker 8: going Garth Brooks. It's it's it's it's George Straight.
- 23:05Speaker 2: It's not well, you and Elanda can't vote are from Texas.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I never met a Texan that said anybody besides Short.
- 23:11Speaker 6: Straight, I said, or George Jones.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but you had to throw George Straight in there.
- 23:16Speaker 2: I mean, that's not even like a bad that's not
- 23:19Speaker 2: even like a bad thing. I've literally never met anybody
- 23:22Speaker 2: from Texas, I said, anybody but George Straight.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I don't know if i've.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Look I think everybody likes George Street.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Garsbrooks has more songs to get the blood flowing, like
- 23:36Speaker 2: I've I've seen both of them plenty of times, both
- 23:39Speaker 2: of them. Garths concerts unreal like that man never stops
- 23:43Speaker 2: moving ever, like ain't going down to the sun comes
- 23:47Speaker 2: up live. I don't know how he does it. Yeah,
- 23:50Speaker 2: I mean I get out of breast singing that in
- 23:52Speaker 2: the car. I think as far as like best Showy
- 23:54Speaker 2: Garth throw that in there. Johnny Cash has to be
- 23:57Speaker 2: in the conversation too.
- 23:59Speaker 4: For me, he's I'm and he's in the.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like that's a different, different country.
- 24:04Speaker 3: But yeah, I'm just going the most successful like George Straight. Yes,
- 24:09Speaker 3: his sixty number one hits. That's more than anybody not
- 24:12Speaker 3: in country, Like, that's more than anyone.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Ever a career, is it? Yep? Somebody just passed that.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Reason unless they passed it.
- 24:20Speaker 6: Morgan Wallen just kidding pro he's.
- 24:24Speaker 4: On pace all right, anyway, right question there. I just
- 24:29Speaker 4: I was, I was in I was in day again.
- 24:31Speaker 4: We listened to a lot of country, and well, who's
- 24:35Speaker 4: the best country band?
- 24:38Speaker 5: Not just solo.
- 24:40Speaker 6: Alabama?
- 24:41Speaker 5: And why is it Brookston done that?
- 24:43Speaker 4: Because yeah, that's true Brooks and Done Probably that's it
- 24:51Speaker 4: for me.
- 24:51Speaker 6: Yeah, actually it's I think that's the answer. Are they
- 24:56Speaker 6: a band or a duo?
- 24:59Speaker 5: He's somebody classify those different things.
- 25:01Speaker 4: You're probably right, But what genre would you classify? Leonard
- 25:04Speaker 4: skinnerd under Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 5: That's out there.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and anybody who sings Sweet Home Alabama as many
- 25:14Speaker 2: times as I've had to hear that song in Tuscaloosa.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I don't care not get my Boat. Great band, not
- 25:20Speaker 2: Getting my Boat.
- 25:21Speaker 6: It's a good song though, Dixie landa Light's a good
- 25:25Speaker 6: song too.
- 25:27Speaker 7: M hmm.
- 25:28Speaker 2: There's a lot of like background father, like who should
- 25:33Speaker 2: be claiming that song.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Dixie landa Light?
- 25:37Speaker 5: Yeah, who's arguing? I think it's a Tennessee and Alabama right, Oh?
- 25:45Speaker 4: Who gets to play it?
- 25:46Speaker 5: Yeah? Oh, there's a little Alabama plays it in the game.
- 25:52Speaker 4: I mean, I think a lot of people can play it.
- 25:56Speaker 2: And you got Florida out here just playing Tom Petty
- 25:58Speaker 2: like you're not cool enough to play on Petty here.
- 26:03Speaker 4: There's nothing to do. It's cool, no, all right, So
- 26:11Speaker 4: Brikson done for me. I don't have it. I don't
- 26:15Speaker 4: have a counter counter argument, you know. I love to argue.
- 26:18Speaker 4: But I thought.
- 26:21Speaker 5: You're thinking like the band Perry Dixie Chicks.
- 26:30Speaker 4: I mean the band Perry.
- 26:34Speaker 5: I have a thought on the band Perry, the most random.
- 26:39Speaker 4: I'm trying to think of some random ones, but I
- 26:41Speaker 4: can't even Dan.
- 26:41Speaker 6: And h I love them.
- 26:45Speaker 5: They're really nice, you yeah, super nice.
- 26:48Speaker 6: I don't really listen to their music.
- 26:49Speaker 4: But I love I respect the fact that they're making it.
- 26:52Speaker 7: Yeah, like Dan and Yeah, yeah, big football guy.
- 26:57Speaker 6: They were.
- 26:58Speaker 7: Last time we saw them, they were like, so, y'all
- 26:59Speaker 7: get Lane Kiffin yea and that. At the time we
- 27:02Speaker 7: didn't know, but I was like, probably I.
- 27:04Speaker 5: Forget which one one. I'm a huge Pen State fan,
- 27:07Speaker 5: like big pen Staate fan.
- 27:10Speaker 4: How do you feel about the Dixie Chicks dropping Dixie
- 27:13Speaker 4: at one point?
- 27:14Speaker 3: I mean, everybody, everybody's doing it.
- 27:17Speaker 6: I feel like people still call them that whatever. Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 6: it's so performative.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Like, first off, the Chicks not a great band named
- 27:26Speaker 3: Dixie Chick sounds good.
- 27:27Speaker 4: If you're gonna do it. If you're gonna if you
- 27:28Speaker 4: want to drop it, just change your name completely.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Right, or just make yourself a symbol like Prince. Oh yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 2: for a while he was just a symbol the artist
- 27:40Speaker 2: formally known as Prince.
- 27:43Speaker 4: They should be the artist formally known as the Dixie Chicks.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but we we caved. You got a mouse in
- 27:51Speaker 5: your pocket?
- 27:52Speaker 4: No, the chicks, they caved.
- 27:54Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a plural. So I said, We'm.
- 28:00Speaker 7: Googling who is objectively the best country band of all time?
- 28:08Speaker 2: Alabama really like Alabama's good, but their songs are all
- 28:14Speaker 2: like for the most part, Like I think there's stadium
- 28:19Speaker 2: like ballpark songs very similar.
- 28:21Speaker 5: Yes, you know, like.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Put in a good mood, little good bibell, kick your
- 28:24Speaker 2: foot a little bit, not the highwayman.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I mean they don't have Neon Moon.
- 28:31Speaker 4: I mean they don't have they don't have the number.
- 28:34Speaker 5: That's like the Avengers. I mean that's kind of cheating.
- 28:40Speaker 6: Brittany should be listening and taking notes to this segment
- 28:43Speaker 6: right now.
- 28:43Speaker 4: We're teaching her a lot.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Probably they like Alabama, ain't boot Scoop and Bigian Montgomery
- 28:55Speaker 2: here r p though right, well, yeah, I guess one
- 29:00Speaker 2: of them was little big towns probably here the same thing.
- 29:04Speaker 4: They had some they got some bangers.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Little get so many people, so many people in the car?
- 29:13Speaker 6: Is so good?
- 29:15Speaker 5: Is that? Who's that? Who sings that?
- 29:16Speaker 3: That's that's a little bit. A few good ones.
- 29:20Speaker 6: Yeah, take me down to the little Isn't that sure?
- 29:23Speaker 5: Probably? Yeah?
- 29:24Speaker 3: And then they got what's the other pontoon?
- 29:26Speaker 5: Ye shannando it needs to be brought up too.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yes, two dozen Roses might actually be my favorite country song.
- 29:34Speaker 7: Well, it's a great one, and say best favor I
- 29:38Speaker 7: think the Judds needed honorary mention here.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I saw a so a clip shod and last night
- 29:46Speaker 3: performing at like.
- 29:49Speaker 5: They were playing at Laberge or somewhere like close.
- 29:54Speaker 7: Marty was just here. Marty just played like a dakery
- 29:58Speaker 7: shop from Shenandoah, just him though. It was just Marty.
- 30:05Speaker 4: So I'm kind of shocked. You might have said this
- 30:09Speaker 4: and I didn't hear it on accident obviously. Yeah, I
- 30:12Speaker 4: didn't know Alabama had forty number one.
- 30:15Speaker 7: No, I didn't say that, but yeah they number one.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we're getting a phone a friend vote for diamond Rio.
- 30:23Speaker 5: Alright, they got hits but in the middle.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Yeah, they dimond Rio is good. I don't I don't
- 30:29Speaker 3: know if they had the I don't know if they
- 30:31Speaker 3: had the long run, like they're good.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you have sustained greatness, longevity, longevity, Kenny Jesney
- 30:43Speaker 4: had a lot of long hand.
- 30:45Speaker 3: They still doing it.
- 30:46Speaker 4: They still at a high level.
- 30:50Speaker 6: Jesse's still doing it high level.

- 31:26Speaker 2: was a song, his Big Iron was a song that's
- 31:28Speaker 2: like my dad cassette tape in the truck.
- 31:31Speaker 5: It was going to be Marty Robbins, the Big.
- 31:35Speaker 3: And Big Iron alone.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like we should switch over to just
- 31:40Speaker 4: some country music.
- 31:41Speaker 7: For the pump music, and then we could do the
- 31:44Speaker 7: one hit Wonders tomorrow.

- 37:03Speaker 2: Even you nah, I could you're the nine guarantee.
- 37:08Speaker 5: I could try to prove that you don't.
- 37:13Speaker 2: All right, So yesterday, as we do finally get started here,
- 37:17Speaker 2: it's all about we talked about the LSU offense, and
- 37:21Speaker 2: we talked about Louisianasports dot Net and hump Palmer doing
- 37:24Speaker 2: a great job or breaking down the offense. And there's
- 37:26Speaker 2: a lot more questions surrounding the offense than there is
- 37:29Speaker 2: the defense.
- 37:30Speaker 5: But Hutt also.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Put out a louiansports dot Net article on the defense. Now,
- 37:35Speaker 2: it's gonna be a lot of new faces. It's gonna
- 37:38Speaker 2: be actually, you know some of the guys that you saw,
- 37:41Speaker 2: yeah last year, but a lot of new faces that
- 37:43Speaker 2: you added through the portal through high school recruiting that
- 37:45Speaker 2: are going to be very impactful at least you hope
- 37:47Speaker 2: they're very impactful at every level. It's gonna be the
- 37:50Speaker 2: case because let's start relying backer. You're gonna have what
- 37:53Speaker 2: weeks Devon Keys, but TJ. Dotery, who's started been a
- 37:57Speaker 2: linebacker for Ole Miss, he comes over.
- 37:59Speaker 5: So that's gonna be some that is new.
- 38:01Speaker 2: You know, DJ Pickett is going to be a dB
- 38:04Speaker 2: on this team, to Marcus cool is going to be
- 38:05Speaker 2: a dB.
- 38:06Speaker 5: Deshaun Spear is going to be a dB for this team. PJ.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Woodland the same situation, but Typ Benefield is going to
- 38:13Speaker 2: insert himself. So like at every level, you have faces
- 38:16Speaker 2: that you know that you've seen out there make plays
- 38:18Speaker 2: in an LSU uniform. But there's going to be somebody
- 38:21Speaker 2: new as well. So I would say the defensive line,
- 38:25Speaker 2: and Tay Tay will start with you. I would say
- 38:27Speaker 2: the defensive line is probably the position group that's going
- 38:30Speaker 2: to have the most new to it. There's not a
- 38:33Speaker 2: lot of returning. But with that being said, of the
- 38:37Speaker 2: units on your defense from a year ago, which was
- 38:39Speaker 2: much improved, that's probably the one that needed some new life.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 3: I mean it was kind of your biggest question mark
- 38:45Speaker 3: coming into the spring, right, and you were talking about
- 38:48Speaker 3: a lot of new faces. Yeah. I mean there were
- 38:50Speaker 3: times in spring practice where Deucie Geralds and Richard Anderson
- 38:53Speaker 3: we're both rapping with the ones now. Anderson came up
- 38:57Speaker 3: with a little bit of an injury late in spring,
- 38:59Speaker 3: so you know he's been kind of battling that. But
- 39:01Speaker 3: Deuce Gerald's has kind of been the one constant on
- 39:04Speaker 3: your d line. Like Malik Blockton's been mixed in there,
- 39:07Speaker 3: the Auburn transfer dominic, McKinley's been in there, Stephilin Green
- 39:11Speaker 3: coming over from Clemson who kind of missed the first
- 39:14Speaker 3: two weeks of spring with an injury. He called on
- 39:16Speaker 3: a little bit late. There's a good rotation there. I
- 39:18Speaker 3: think you got bodies. You don't have a lot of
- 39:21Speaker 3: known production, at least not at LSU, but I think
- 39:24Speaker 3: there's talent there for sure.
- 39:27Speaker 5: Now when you talk with people.
- 39:31Speaker 2: Out at practice in names like I don't want to
- 39:34Speaker 2: know the names that everybody's talking about. I'm like, give
- 39:36Speaker 2: me the names that we should be talking about more.
- 39:39Speaker 2: And I would say Jordan Ross was probably the one
- 39:41Speaker 2: that I got more than any other name, Ed Rusher
- 39:44Speaker 2: coming over from Tennessee. I don't know Taytay or anybody
- 39:46Speaker 2: else that went to practice or had practice reports or whatever,
- 39:50Speaker 2: but Jordan Ross was the name that came back to
- 39:52Speaker 2: me the most of players that we should be talking
- 39:54Speaker 2: more about.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and you'll see him out there in the fall.
- 39:57Speaker 7: Uh.
- 39:57Speaker 3: It's kind of funky looking seeing somebody. We're twenty nine
- 40:00Speaker 3: coming off the edge, but he's he's rocking twenty nine
- 40:02Speaker 3: at least he did there in the spring.
- 40:05Speaker 5: That's not a great number, right, I can give you.
- 40:08Speaker 3: When I was at the first spring scrimmage, went out there,
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'm like, twenty nine is this scout team D And
- 40:13Speaker 3: I'm looking like, no, who's that? I'm like, Okay, Jordan Ross. Uh, Yeah,
- 40:17Speaker 3: I mean, big time recruit from Tennessee. Never quite you know,
- 40:21Speaker 3: lived up to the hype in Tennessee. He was in
- 40:23Speaker 3: and out of the lineup with some injuries as well
- 40:25Speaker 3: though over there in Knoxville. But yeah, he's a he's
- 40:28Speaker 3: a guy coming in on the other side of Prince
- 40:30Speaker 3: will Luman Miellen. That I mean, Jake, you talked about it.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Harold Perkins led you in sacks last year with three
- 40:35Speaker 3: and a half. You brought in four different edge dressers
- 40:38Speaker 3: a year ago, none of them did anything. Now, losing
- 40:40Speaker 3: Gabriel where Ellaford, you take a hit, but you still
- 40:43Speaker 3: have a Damien Shanklin there. You still have Dylan Carpenter
- 40:46Speaker 3: who actually you know, played pretty well for you a
- 40:48Speaker 3: year ago, didn't expect to play a ton but did
- 40:51Speaker 3: because of injury. So there there's guys there that that
- 40:54Speaker 3: could make an impact. Like you gotta assume at this
- 40:57Speaker 3: point like it's got to be better than it was
- 40:59Speaker 3: a year ago.
- 41:00Speaker 5: Oh yeah, they got to go way yet because and
- 41:03Speaker 5: actually let's do this.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Let's take a break, because I do want Matt to
- 41:06Speaker 2: kind of chime in on what the defense had to
- 41:08Speaker 2: do last year sending extra people and what that does
- 41:11Speaker 2: to your defense. Well, you know, it can exploit it
- 41:14Speaker 2: a little bit if you're able to block it up
- 41:16Speaker 2: and handle it. So we'll have that conversation to wrap
- 41:18Speaker 2: up our number one when we come back here on OTV.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Off the bench, all right, go to gcopnet dot com.

- 41:57Speaker 2: it finds a way to get fixed.

- 42:32Speaker 1: I'm rock locked in on LSU Football twenty four to seven.
- 42:35Speaker 1: You're listening to off the Bench.
- 42:40Speaker 9: I done you wrong in Walmgroun. You say I'm not
- 42:50Speaker 9: a when here I know it all be perfect?
- 42:55Speaker 5: Here, Rocky wonder what.
- 43:16Speaker 4: All right?
- 43:17Speaker 2: Welcome back in OTV here live from the Raising Kine Studio.
- 43:20Speaker 5: Real quick there, Matthew.
- 43:21Speaker 2: We're talking about the defensive line, last segment and what
- 43:24Speaker 2: you have to do to get pressure on the quarterback
- 43:26Speaker 2: because last year, well they had to I don't want
- 43:29Speaker 2: to say throw the kitchen sink at them, but they
- 43:32Speaker 2: had to bring people from multiple places, a lot of
- 43:35Speaker 2: corner cat a lot of safety blitzes, certainly, a lot
- 43:38Speaker 2: of linebackers coming in different gaps A gaps, B gaps
- 43:41Speaker 2: wherever they could to create pressure. And sometimes if you
- 43:45Speaker 2: could a blocked up that exploits a lot of things
- 43:48Speaker 2: on your defense.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Yeah, if you face a it's a good offense. And
- 43:54Speaker 4: a lot of times in college you face a like
- 43:57Speaker 4: a high paced offense, YEA A high tempo, fast paced
- 44:02Speaker 4: and of course you know that's why you had teams
- 44:04Speaker 4: had success on us like Lane Kiffen and Ole Miss
- 44:07Speaker 4: had success on us. Yeah, when you can't get pressure
- 44:10Speaker 4: with the four down linemen. It certainly puts stress on
- 44:15Speaker 4: the defensive coordinator to create pressure because you have to
- 44:18Speaker 4: pressure the quarterback at some point, at some point in
- 44:21Speaker 4: the game, because if not, then you have defensive backs
- 44:25Speaker 4: back pedaling covering receivers going full speed forward.
- 44:30Speaker 5: So it's like the coverage will never. I don't care how.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Good you are, I don't care how many months or
- 44:35Speaker 4: delays you have on your in your secondary. Eventually a
- 44:39Speaker 4: receiver is gonna get open. Yeah, whether it happens in
- 44:41Speaker 4: two seconds or whether it happens in eight seconds, it's
- 44:44Speaker 4: just gonna happen. So when you have to create that pressure,
- 44:46Speaker 4: it certainly creates.
- 44:47Speaker 5: A lot of creativity. And luckily Blake Baker has that now.
- 44:51Speaker 4: Blake Baker's always going to pressure with extra guys, always
- 44:53Speaker 4: going to blitz, He's always going to bring a cat
- 44:55Speaker 4: from the field. He loves bringing that corner. And nobody
- 44:58Speaker 4: does it better than the and his defenses. They disguise
- 45:01Speaker 4: it really well. But it's just such a luxury to
- 45:04Speaker 4: have and to overcome what we had to last year
- 45:08Speaker 4: on the defensive line, where it was just void of
- 45:10Speaker 4: any pass rush. I mean, you had some I'm not
- 45:14Speaker 4: saying like that, Like these guys were playing their game right,
- 45:17Speaker 4: it just wasn't their game. It wasn't their game to
- 45:18Speaker 4: come off the edge and create that pass rush themselves.
- 45:22Speaker 4: When you do that, it's amazing how good LSU's defense
- 45:25Speaker 4: was still able to be without that element, because it's
- 45:29Speaker 4: usually that type of element that makes a defense good
- 45:32Speaker 4: because we can create pressure. Most really good defenses is
- 45:35Speaker 4: because I can create pressure with four, I can drop
- 45:37Speaker 4: seven back into coverage.
- 45:39Speaker 2: All right, we'll talk more LSU. More Saints, our number
- 45:42Speaker 2: two OTB off the bench, all right, go to Rouses
