- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, Marxists have it wrong because they deny the existence
- 0:03Speaker 1: of your creator himself, and that means you're just another
- 0:06Speaker 1: social animal. You're just part of the herd. That's the
- 0:08Speaker 1: basis of socialism. And you know what happens in that scenario.
- 0:11Speaker 1: The people that amass the power will control and direct
- 0:15Speaker 1: the hurd. You lose your freedom. It's a road to tyranny.
- 0:18Speaker 2: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:21Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good Monday morning.
- 0:22Speaker 4: So nice to have you with us on the forty
- 0:24Speaker 4: seven Morning Update. And we've got a lot to talk
- 0:27Speaker 4: about this morning, including the President of the United States of
- 0:29Speaker 4: America making it clear that Iran is going to be
- 0:33Speaker 4: hit hard this after two Americans were killed and Jordan
- 0:37Speaker 4: after Iranian air strikes. So what's going to happen next.
- 0:41Speaker 4: We'll explain it all to you. But before we get
- 0:44Speaker 4: to that, I want to talk to you real quick
- 0:45Speaker 4: about your cell phone. If you have a cell phone
- 0:49Speaker 4: right now, you may not realize what's actually happening when
- 0:52Speaker 4: you pay your bill every month. You may not realize
- 0:55Speaker 4: that there are woke companies out there that take your
- 0:58Speaker 4: dollars and they give them the hardcore left to organizations.
- 1:01Speaker 4: And that's why I made the switch to Patriot Mobile.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I didn't want my money going to abortion providers. I
- 1:07Speaker 4: didn't want my money going to anti Second Amendment groups.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I didn't want my money going to hardcore leftist candidates.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Well you may not realize it, but Big Mobile gives
- 1:17Speaker 4: big donations to many of those exact individuals and organizations,
- 1:22Speaker 4: and that is why the stakes could not be higher.
- 1:25Speaker 4: We finally have a president and administration fighting hard to
- 1:28Speaker 4: put America first. But if conservatives like you and I
- 1:31Speaker 4: lose focus, well, the same people that created the mess
- 1:34Speaker 4: we're in right now, they're waiting to resume their destruction.
- 1:37Speaker 4: And that's why I want you to switch to Patriot Mobile.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Because not only is Patriot Mobile America's only Christian conservative
- 1:44Speaker 4: wireless provider, they also offer you premium priority nationwide service
- 1:49Speaker 4: and all three major networks, unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots,
- 1:52Speaker 4: international roaming, small business solutions.
- 1:54Speaker 3: They got it all.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Plus their business is one hundred percent US based customer support,
- 2:00Speaker 4: meaning you're gonna talk to a hard working American.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Now, this is where the magic happens.
- 2:05Speaker 4: They literally put millions of dollars each year to organizations
- 2:09Speaker 4: that are fighting on the front lines and fighting for
- 2:11Speaker 4: God given rights. I'm talking about standing up to not
- 2:15Speaker 4: only defend our faith, but our family and our freedoms.
- 2:19Speaker 3: So does it cost you any extra? It does not.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Switch your bill right now and make a difference. Patriot
- 2:25Speaker 4: Mobile dot com slash ben forty seven.
- 2:28Speaker 3: You'll get a free month of service.
- 2:29Speaker 4: That's Patriotmobile dot com slash ben forty seven for a
- 2:34Speaker 4: free month of service. Or call them nine to seven
- 2:36Speaker 4: to Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot or Patriotmobile
- 2:41Speaker 4: dot com slash ben forty seven and make that switch today.
- 2:45Speaker 3: It's a forty seven morning update and it starts right now.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I want to get to another story that's really important,
- 2:52Speaker 4: and that is this. Donald Trump is now suggesting that
- 2:56Speaker 4: Republicans at Iran to the Russian sanctions bill. This is
- 3:01Speaker 4: a very new development, the President suggesting the Republicans in
- 3:05Speaker 4: Congress add Iran to the Russian sanctions bill, noting that
- 3:10Speaker 4: it is what the late Center Lindsey Graham wanted to do,
- 3:14Speaker 4: which is a very interesting perspective.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Quote.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Republicans should add Iran to the Russian sanctions bill, Trump
- 3:21Speaker 4: said a post on true social Not only is it
- 3:23Speaker 4: what Lindsey Graham wanted to do, it was going to happen,
- 3:25Speaker 4: and then he put in all caps important now. In
- 3:29Speaker 4: April of twenty twenty five, Graham introduced the Sanctioning Russia
- 3:33Speaker 4: Act of twenty twenty five, which has received a recent
- 3:37Speaker 4: momentum after having been stalled in Congress. Trump called to
- 3:41Speaker 4: add Iran to the sanctions bill, and that also comes.
- 3:45Speaker 4: The United States has resumed its conflict of the Ran
- 3:48Speaker 4: with a series of major attacks and an end to
- 3:50Speaker 4: negotiations to end the conflict. According to the Latest News,
- 3:55Speaker 4: the Trump administration has for over a week quote resumed
- 3:59Speaker 4: its conflict with I Ran with a series of attacks
- 4:02Speaker 4: and ending the negotiations. Of course, the conflicts started with
- 4:07Speaker 4: joint US Israeli strikes on Iran in late February. The
- 4:12Speaker 4: US military launch retalatory attacks Saturday in response to Iranian strikes.
- 4:16Speaker 4: It's all two service members killed in Jordan, and we're
- 4:19Speaker 4: gonna deal with that.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Breaking news as well.
- 4:21Speaker 4: In a moment, Trump also called these desks quote a
- 4:24Speaker 4: very sad thing. Several lawmakers such as sat Tom Cotton
- 4:28Speaker 4: from Arkansas, Tim Scott from South Carolina, they've now expressed
- 4:32Speaker 4: that Trump was right and noted that Iran and Russia
- 4:36Speaker 4: posed grave threats to America as well as American allies.
- 4:41Speaker 4: President Trump is right as well as Russia may pay
- 4:43Speaker 4: more for their attacks on the civilized world. Is what
- 4:46Speaker 4: Cotton said in the post on X today. He said,
- 4:49Speaker 4: tomorrow I will introduce legislation that permanently extends the Iranian
- 4:54Speaker 4: Sanctions Act. That is obviously a major deal. Now the
- 4:59Speaker 4: President putting us out there, in Tom Cotton putting out there,
- 5:02Speaker 4: this means this is orchestrated, coordinated, and planned as a
- 5:06Speaker 4: response to what Iran is doing killing American servicemen.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Quote.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Iran and Russia pose the grave threats to America and
- 5:13Speaker 4: our allies, is what Senator Scott wrote in a post
- 5:16Speaker 4: on X saying their MILND cooperation makes both them more dangerous.
- 5:21Speaker 4: Referring to Iran and Russia. My bipartisan Solidify Iranian Sanctions
- 5:27Speaker 4: Act would make sanctions on Iran permanent and give President
- 5:30Speaker 4: Trump the tools to hold Iran accountable. Obviously, that is
- 5:35Speaker 4: moving very quickly as well. Now, why is all this
- 5:38Speaker 4: happening is one of the big questions many of you have.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Asked, and it's a fair question to ask.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Part of it is our response to the latest attacks
- 5:45Speaker 4: where two US service members have been killed and one
- 5:49Speaker 4: is missing in Iran strikes on Jordan. The two US
- 5:53Speaker 4: service members were killed one remains missing after Iran struck
- 5:58Speaker 4: American forces in Jordan, the US Central Command SENTCOM said
- 6:01Speaker 4: on Saturday. The command said the two troops were killed
- 6:05Speaker 4: in action Friday while defending against Iranian ballistic missiles and
- 6:09Speaker 4: drone attacks, and they confirmed four other service members were
- 6:14Speaker 4: medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals and have since been discharged.
- 6:19Speaker 3: That is the good news now.
- 6:21Speaker 4: SINCOM announced the casualties in a statement posted on social
- 6:24Speaker 4: media on Saturday afternoon, saying, on July seventeenth, two US
- 6:29Speaker 4: service members in Jordan were killed in action at US
- 6:31Speaker 4: Central Command and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missiles
- 6:36Speaker 4: and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing
- 6:41Speaker 4: an action mia at least two Iranian ballistic missiles we
- 6:46Speaker 4: now know hit the airbase there. The footage circulating on
- 6:50Speaker 4: social media showed the impact and then the heavy smoke
- 6:53Speaker 4: over the installation.
- 6:54Speaker 3: The deaths of.
- 6:55Speaker 4: The first American military fatalities since the war started in March.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Now The House Speaker Mike Johnson responded to that news,
- 7:04Speaker 4: saying this praying for the loved ones of these brave
- 7:08Speaker 4: fallen American heroes, for the swift recovery of those injured,
- 7:13Speaker 4: and for the safe return of the missing service members.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Johnson wrote, May God bless our brave men and women
- 7:19Speaker 4: in uniform now. The Defense Secretary p Headseth also acknowledged
- 7:23Speaker 4: the desks, writing that the sacrifice only stiffens our resolve
- 7:27Speaker 4: quote unquote. The Iranian Supreme Leader also claimed the United
- 7:31Speaker 4: States had committed repeated breaches of the Memo of Understanding
- 7:35Speaker 4: sign last month, arguing a post over the weekend that
- 7:38Speaker 4: this signature of the US president was quote utterly worthless
- 7:43Speaker 4: and devoid of credibility quote unquote. Now, the desk come
- 7:47Speaker 4: as Washington and Tehran are trading strikes for the past week,
- 7:51Speaker 4: with the mid June ceasefire and shambles after Trump decleared
- 7:55Speaker 4: it quote unquote over and the reimposed that naval blockade
- 7:59Speaker 4: on a imports. Out of respect for the families, Syncom
- 8:03Speaker 4: said they will withhold additional information at this time, including
- 8:07Speaker 4: the identities of the fallen warriors, until twenty four hours
- 8:10Speaker 4: after the necks of ken have been notified, SENTCOM said
- 8:14Speaker 4: in a statement. Now we also are learning this at
- 8:18Speaker 4: this hour. US forces began launching air strikes this evening
- 8:23Speaker 4: against Iran, starting at six pm Eastern time, five Central.
- 8:29Speaker 4: This in retaliation they save for the attacks that killed
- 8:32Speaker 4: two American service members in Jordan. SENTCOM said as well
- 8:36Speaker 4: in their statement that the strikes were meant to further
- 8:38Speaker 4: degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the street
- 8:43Speaker 4: of Hermus and to swiftly quote punish the Islamic Revolutionary
- 8:49Speaker 4: Guard Corps behind the latest assault that claimed at least
- 8:53Speaker 4: two American lives.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Now you look.
- 8:57Speaker 4: At all of what I just told you, and this
- 8:59Speaker 4: is obviously a lot that's happening. This is going to
- 9:02Speaker 4: probably be a very intense week for America's military against Iran.
- 9:08Speaker 4: It does not look like Iran is anywhere close to
- 9:11Speaker 4: agreeing at this hour to.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Any sort of deal.
- 9:16Speaker 4: It also is because the hardliners in Iran and the IRGC,
- 9:21Speaker 4: they are undermining any type of diplomatic agreement, any type
- 9:26Speaker 4: of memo of understanding, any type of we're not going
- 9:29Speaker 4: to have nuclear weapons type scenarios in Iran. It seems
- 9:33Speaker 4: that the IRGC and the radicals in Iran are willing
- 9:37Speaker 4: to die on this hill literally because they are not
- 9:42Speaker 4: going to move. That changes the calculus for the President
- 9:47Speaker 4: and for the Pentagon and for Headset and others, because
- 9:51Speaker 4: now the question is how do you end this thing
- 9:55Speaker 4: and not lose American lives and not put American troops
- 9:58Speaker 4: on the ground, and do you do it by going
- 10:01Speaker 4: after Iran in a way that would also cause unfortunately
- 10:06Speaker 4: civilian casualties.
- 10:08Speaker 3: We are really good at our strikes.
- 10:10Speaker 4: That is something that we've proven throughout this world, but
- 10:15Speaker 4: we've also not struck certain things based on the intelligence
- 10:19Speaker 4: I've been told about because we were prioritizing American lives.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Our only rephrase that civilian Iranian lives, and the Iranian radicals,
- 10:32Speaker 4: the ergyc they know this. They put a lot of
- 10:35Speaker 4: their weapons depots and other things in certain areas where
- 10:38Speaker 4: they know that they'd be very hard for American American
- 10:42Speaker 4: to strike, and they clearly seem okay with this. That
- 10:45Speaker 4: is again a major problem. Now the question becomes what
- 10:51Speaker 4: will we do moving forward? Will we do anything moving
- 10:55Speaker 4: forward to stop this from happening in way that would
- 11:00Speaker 4: then take on these radicals and knowing what they're doing.
- 11:06Speaker 4: That's a lot to digest. What seems pretty clear at
- 11:11Speaker 4: this point is that the President of the United States
- 11:15Speaker 4: America is made it abundantly clear that he is not
- 11:21Speaker 4: going to be bullied by Iran. He is not going
- 11:24Speaker 4: to allow them to take over the stratiform MEWS, He
- 11:27Speaker 4: is not going to have them be a nuclear Okay,
- 11:31Speaker 4: and this is extremely important to understand.
- 11:34Speaker 3: A nuclear power.
- 11:35Speaker 4: You look at all that and you compare it to
- 11:39Speaker 4: what we're dealing with at this exact moment. What is
- 11:42Speaker 4: obvious is the President probably has only one choice. That
- 11:46Speaker 4: is to continue to hit Iran, and continue to hit
- 11:49Speaker 4: Iran extremely hard, and we're probably going to have to
- 11:53Speaker 4: make some of those tough decisions that if Iran is
- 11:55Speaker 4: willing to put their citizens in harm's way, that's not
- 11:59Speaker 4: on us, that's on them. I also think it's very
- 12:04Speaker 4: clear that Americans do not want a lot of soldiers'
- 12:10Speaker 4: boots on the ground. You look at what just happened,
- 12:13Speaker 4: the loss of life of these two soldiers. It hits
- 12:15Speaker 4: differently because there's so many Americans to say, do not
- 12:18Speaker 4: give us into this like a ground offensive. Do not
- 12:21Speaker 4: get us into a ground war where American troops, lives
- 12:24Speaker 4: are going to be at risk. So that also is
- 12:27Speaker 4: the way that we're fighting war right now is also
- 12:31Speaker 4: very different than it was years ago. That's another aspect
- 12:36Speaker 4: of this that again has to be brought up. So
- 12:39Speaker 4: here we are in this new scenario. The President clearly
- 12:43Speaker 4: knows he needs to act. The President clearly knows that
- 12:47Speaker 4: Iran must pay for what they've just done. And the
- 12:50Speaker 4: President also knows that Americans do not want ground forces
- 12:54Speaker 4: on the ground. That's why I think this next week
- 12:57Speaker 4: what you're going to witness is a signignificant increase in
- 13:02Speaker 4: aerial attacks.
- 13:03Speaker 3: They will be massive. I feel pretty solid about that.
