- 21:05SPEAKER_06: Yeah, absolutely.
- 21:06SPEAKER_07: So all right, fact number one.
- 21:08SPEAKER_07: So there's a difference between a hobo, a tramp, a bum.
- 21:14SPEAKER_06: There's a difference between a hobo, a tramp, and a bum.
- 21:18SPEAKER_06: Okay, what's what's the difference?
- 21:19SPEAKER_07: Generally, we would all put them in the same group, but yeah, there's different hobo travels around looking for work.
- 21:25SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 21:26SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 21:27SPEAKER_07: A tramp only works when he has to.
- 21:30SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 21:31SPEAKER_07: And can you guess on the last one?
- 21:34SPEAKER_06: Uh bums probably don't work at all.
- 21:36SPEAKER_06: Exactly.
- 21:37SPEAKER_06: All right, there you go.
- 21:38SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 21:39SPEAKER_06: Hobo travels around.
- 21:40SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 21:41SPEAKER_06: That's why they're always on the train car.
- 21:44SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 21:44SPEAKER_07: And then the training.
- 21:45SPEAKER_06: With the stick, with the stick with the handkerchief and their lunch in it, right?
- 21:49SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 21:50SPEAKER_06: Makes sense.
- 21:50SPEAKER_06: They're taking their lunch to try and go find some work somewhere.
- 21:53SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 21:54SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 21:54SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 21:55SPEAKER_07: So all right.
- 21:56SPEAKER_07: Fact number two.
- 21:57SPEAKER_07: Number two the Statue of Liberty.
- 21:59SPEAKER_07: Sandals.
- 22:00SPEAKER_07: On our feet.
- 22:02SPEAKER_07: Measure 25 feet long.
- 22:06SPEAKER_07: That's a pretty big shoe.
- 22:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 22:08SPEAKER_07: Well, this is the weird part.
- 22:10SPEAKER_07: Equals to a U.S.
- 22:11SPEAKER_07: woman's shoe size of 879 if it was scaled to human proportions.
- 22:17SPEAKER_05: Listen, if you're into feet.
- 22:20SPEAKER_05: Jesus.
- 22:21SPEAKER_05: Lady Liberty's got some.
- 22:23SPEAKER_05: She's got some feet.
- 22:26SPEAKER_07: I'm just telling you.
- 22:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 22:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah, right.
- 22:29SPEAKER_07: Gross.
- 22:30SPEAKER_07: It's gross.
- 22:31SPEAKER_07: Your toes taste like copper, honey.
- 22:33SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 22:34SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 22:36SPEAKER_06: Fact number three.
- 22:38SPEAKER_07: Alright, so Burr King likes to say they're famous.
- 22:42SPEAKER_07: They're famous.
- 22:42SPEAKER_07: Sorry.
- 22:43SPEAKER_07: Barry King likes to say they're four months older than McDonald's.
- 22:47SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 22:48SPEAKER_07: So they're four, they're four months older.
- 22:50SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 22:51SPEAKER_07: The first Burr King opened December 1954 in Miami.
- 22:55SPEAKER_07: And Ray Kroc opened the first franchise franchise.
- 22:59SPEAKER_07: McDonald's.
- 23:00SPEAKER_07: And Dell's Pell Dell's Plains.
- 23:03SPEAKER_07: De Plains.
- 23:04SPEAKER_07: Illinois in April of 1955.
- 23:08SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 23:09unknown: So.
- 23:10SPEAKER_06: So that's later, but McDonald's actually existed before then.
- 23:14SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I was going to say the second rock.
- 23:15SPEAKER_06: Before Ray Kroc.
- 23:16SPEAKER_06: Because I saw that Ray Kroc like movie.
- 23:20SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 23:20SPEAKER_06: Right?
- 23:20SPEAKER_06: So McDonald's technically is older because the McDonald's brothers, right?
- 23:27SPEAKER_06: Didn't they?
- 23:27SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 23:28SPEAKER_06: They were around before Ray Crock.
- 23:29SPEAKER_07: They actually had they had the actual McDonald's.
- 23:31SPEAKER_07: They had the arch.
- 23:32SPEAKER_07: They didn't have the arch is.
- 23:33SPEAKER_07: They had the arch.
- 23:35SPEAKER_07: So I mean, therefore, McDonald's is technically older than Burger King.
- 23:38SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 23:39SPEAKER_07: Ray Kroc did them dirty.
- 23:41SPEAKER_07: Oh, absolutely.
- 23:42SPEAKER_07: Did you see that movie?
- 23:43SPEAKER_07: No, yeah.
- 23:44SPEAKER_07: Michael, Michael Keaton in it?
- 23:45SPEAKER_05: Absolutely did them dirty.
- 23:46SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
- 23:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 23:48SPEAKER_07: Whatever happened to Michael?
- 23:49SPEAKER_07: I haven't seen him in movies in forever.
- 23:51SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
- 23:52SPEAKER_07: That's a good question.
- 23:53SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 23:54SPEAKER_07: Back number four.
- 23:56SPEAKER_07: The guy who started to the tradition of holding up John 316.
- 24:02SPEAKER_07: Signs at football games, you know, in the 80s.
- 24:04SPEAKER_07: He was banging him out.
- 24:05SPEAKER_07: Yeah, sure.
- 24:06SPEAKER_07: Um.
- 24:07SPEAKER_07: So is now serving three life sentences for taking and made hostage at a hotel.
- 24:13SPEAKER_07: Wow.
- 24:15SPEAKER_07: He found Jesus.
- 24:17SPEAKER_06: He found something.
- 24:18SPEAKER_07: Found jail is what he found.
- 24:20SPEAKER_07: Or he found John.
- 24:21SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 24:22SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 24:23SPEAKER_07: Final one.
- 24:24SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 24:24SPEAKER_07: The most effective cure for hiccups, according to doctors, is inserting your finger into your rectum.
- 24:34SPEAKER_06: Um I think there's probably a lot of things that can help, but uh you know I think I don't think that's really a thing.
- 24:41SPEAKER_07: I think it's more shock factor.
- 24:44SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 24:45SPEAKER_07: Shock factor.
- 24:46SPEAKER_07: You know, you're like, oh shit.
- 24:47SPEAKER_07: Don't they call that the shocker?
- 24:50SPEAKER_07: Do you hold your breath when you put your finger in your butt?
- 24:53SPEAKER_05: Oh man.
- 24:55SPEAKER_06: This thing's going off the rails really fast tonight.
- 24:59SPEAKER_06: That's John's random facts.
- 25:01SPEAKER_06: Five random facts delivered straight to your thick skull.
- 25:04SPEAKER_06: Until you learn something new tonight.
- 25:06SPEAKER_06: There you have it on the Alpha Men podcast.
- 25:38SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's just what I was thinking.
- 25:40SPEAKER_06: I was thinking the same thing, Michelle.
- 25:42SPEAKER_06: Oh, no, oh, hold on.
- 25:43SPEAKER_06: The vaginal, the vaginal nerve.
- 25:45SPEAKER_06: What do you mean vaginal nerve?
- 25:47SPEAKER_06: Vagal nerve?
- 25:49SPEAKER_06: Vagal.
- 25:49SPEAKER_06: Oh vagal nerve.
- 25:51SPEAKER_06: Vagal nerve.
- 25:52SPEAKER_06: Yeah, that's that's exactly what I was thinking.
- 25:55SPEAKER_06: Um wait, wait, wait.
- 25:58SPEAKER_07: How do you know this, Michelle?
- 26:00SPEAKER_06: How do you get one of your hiccups now?
- 26:02SPEAKER_06: I'm wondering.
- 26:04SPEAKER_07: Don't tell us.
- 26:05SPEAKER_06: Are you okay?
- 26:06SPEAKER_06: No, I got the hiccups again.
- 26:07SPEAKER_06: Listen, I'm not sticking my finger back up your butt.
- 26:10SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 26:11SPEAKER_06: Anyway.
- 26:12SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 26:13SPEAKER_06: Open season is officially open.
- 26:15SPEAKER_06: Nothing protected.
- 26:16SPEAKER_06: No topic gets a free pass.
- 26:18SPEAKER_06: No sacred cows, no participation trophies.
- 26:21SPEAKER_06: If it moves, we're shooting at it tonight.
- 26:23SPEAKER_06: Right from the hip.
- 26:24SPEAKER_06: And tonight's targets are the midterm circus.
- 26:28SPEAKER_06: Are we voting for somebody we actually like or just trying to stop the other guy from ruining the country?
- 26:34SPEAKER_06: From the Manosphere tonight, the midlife crisis starter pack.
- 26:40SPEAKER_06: Sports car, motorcycle, smoker grill, questionable tattoo, and a playlist consisting entirely of hair metal.
- 26:47SPEAKER_06: Which purchase actually makes a man happier?
- 26:50SPEAKER_06: From entertainment NFL football or three-hour legal deposition?
- 26:56SPEAKER_06: Every big play gets reviewed.
- 26:58SPEAKER_06: Every hit gets debated.
- 27:00SPEAKER_06: Every fan needs a law degree to understand what a catch it is and what a catch isn't.
- 27:05SPEAKER_06: Has the NFL made football too complicated, or are fans just mad when the call goes against their team?
- 27:11SPEAKER_06: And finally, technology, Tesla Flying Roadster finally showed up.
- 27:18SPEAKER_06: Sort of.
- 27:19SPEAKER_06: Is it the greatest engineering achievement of our lifetime?
- 27:24SPEAKER_06: Or is it the world's most expensive magic trick?
- 27:28SPEAKER_06: Now here's the deal.
- 27:35SPEAKER_06: Pick a side, pick a target, call us out, defend the indefensible.
- 27:39SPEAKER_06: No warmups, no disclaimers.
- 27:40SPEAKER_06: The season is open.
- 27:41SPEAKER_06: We're going hunting.
- 27:42SPEAKER_06: So let's get into it.
- 27:44SPEAKER_06: Midter midterm circus.
- 27:48SPEAKER_06: November 3rd is coming up.
- 27:51SPEAKER_07: Signs are everywhere.
- 27:52SPEAKER_06: Signs.
- 27:53SPEAKER_06: You're getting texts on your phone.
- 27:55SPEAKER_06: You're getting robocalls.
- 27:57SPEAKER_06: It's on your Facebook page everywhere.
- 28:00SPEAKER_06: Um you're gonna vote.
- 28:03SPEAKER_06: You're not gonna vote.
- 28:04SPEAKER_06: If you are gonna vote, are you voting for somebody you actually feel confident in, or are you just trying to stop the other guy from or girl ruining the country?
- 28:18SPEAKER_06: Because I believe this is my take.
- 28:22SPEAKER_06: This is a lesser of two evils election.
- 28:26SPEAKER_06: Okay?
- 28:27SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 28:28SPEAKER_06: And what I mean by that is I don't think any candidate out there people are squarely behind.
- 28:37SPEAKER_06: Like, I believe all the stuff that they believe.
- 28:41SPEAKER_06: And it doesn't matter if you're a Democrat or you're a Republican or you're a conservative or you're a liberal or you're it doesn't matter.
- 28:50SPEAKER_06: There's so much crazy crap out there right now that there's no possible way unless you are um an absolute partisan hack, okay, that you could be for everything that um that the candidates are for, regardless of what party they're for.
- 29:12SPEAKER_07: I think it but I mean honestly, it it's not even the person.
- 29:16SPEAKER_07: I think it's the policy if they can actually do it.
- 29:18SPEAKER_07: What what what they're promising.
- 29:20SPEAKER_07: That's what I think it's coming down to now.
- 29:24SPEAKER_07: Of everything costing so much and and the false promises and you know we're gonna be able to do that.
- 29:27SPEAKER_07: Well, but here's the thing.
- 29:28SPEAKER_06: Here's the thing, okay?
- 29:30SPEAKER_06: Um inflation is a big problem right now, gas prices are a big problem right now, right?
- 29:37SPEAKER_06: You see them all the time say things like under Joe Biden, gas uh inflation was nine percent, right?
- 29:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah, uh even though inflation gets under control, those prices aren't going away.
- 29:55SPEAKER_06: They don't go down.
- 29:57SPEAKER_06: Okay?
- 29:59SPEAKER_06: It's and that's why you see the Trump administration and Republicans saying, hey, inflation's only 3.7%.
- 30:09SPEAKER_06: And that's confusing to a lot of Americans because they're like, well, wait a minute.
- 30:14SPEAKER_06: If inflation was 9% and things were expensive, and now it's only 3.7%, then things should be a little bit inexpensive, right?
- 30:25SPEAKER_06: Or it should be a little bit cheaper.
- 30:27SPEAKER_06: And the and the bottom line is is inflation doesn't go away like that.
- 30:33unknown: Okay?
- 30:34SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, we discussed this a few weeks ago about the whole inflation, how it takes time to go down.
- 30:38SPEAKER_07: And I mean, there's no light switch to it.
- 30:40SPEAKER_06: Well, but I mean, here's the thing.
- 30:41SPEAKER_06: I don't think it's ever gonna go down.
- 30:43SPEAKER_06: I I I just don't.
- 30:44SPEAKER_06: And I don't think there's any politician who can tell you that it is, all right, other than stuff that is artificially inflated, like eggs.
- 30:55SPEAKER_06: Do you remember we were playing like seven billion dollars for a dozen of eggs?
- 30:59SPEAKER_06: You remember that?
- 31:00SPEAKER_06: Okay, that went down because it was artificially inflated.
- 31:04SPEAKER_06: Gasoline will go down because it's artificially being inflated.
- 31:09SPEAKER_06: It's not it's not inflation per se, it's the action uh in the Gulf in the um in the Strait of Hormuz and and you know, all the other things.
- 31:23SPEAKER_06: And and so that will go down, but your your price of groceries at the grocery store?
- 31:32SPEAKER_06: When was the last time you saw prices at the grocery store go down?
- 31:36SPEAKER_06: Regardless of what what who was president, or regardless like listen, uh Ronald Reagan came in after Jimmy Carter, right?
- 31:46SPEAKER_06: 1980 to 1988, okay.
- 31:50SPEAKER_06: Uh in the late 70s, we had a gas shortage, we had incredible inflation, we had stagnation, we had all kinds of things.
- 31:59SPEAKER_06: And it's when like a soda went from being 25 cents to being in the eight uh eighties 50 cents, right?
- 32:11SPEAKER_06: It doubled, right?
- 32:12SPEAKER_06: Well, soda's never gone back down to 50 percent, 50 cents.
- 32:17SPEAKER_06: It's it's regardless of who was president since then or what the inflation rate was, the soda didn't okay, we're gonna take it back down to 25 cents because inflation's down.
- 32:27SPEAKER_06: It doesn't happen that way.
- 32:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 32:30SPEAKER_07: Either you or something.
- 32:31SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 32:31SPEAKER_06: Some of the things some of the things uh just aren't aren't gonna be there.
- 32:38SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 32:39SPEAKER_06: And so, you know, I think the thing that gets me about this midterm election is I want to know where the normal people are.
- 32:53SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 32:54SPEAKER_06: Like everybody I see putting a viewpoint out there is a ridiculous hack.
- 33:08SPEAKER_06: Or a purple-haired freak.
- 33:10SPEAKER_06: Or, you know, like, and look, the conservatives and the republicans or the magas or the whatever you want to call them, they got a bunch of problems.
- 33:23SPEAKER_06: But have you seen the candidates that the Democrats are putting out there?
- 33:27SPEAKER_06: Like, they're weirdos, they're absolute weirdos.
- 33:34SPEAKER_06: So I I want to know where the normal people are.
- 33:37SPEAKER_06: And I will ask you this question tonight.
- 33:39SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 33:42SPEAKER_06: If neither party had a chance of winning your vote automatically, what would a candidate have to do to earn your vote?
- 33:52SPEAKER_07: Somehow make it get lower.
- 33:55SPEAKER_07: Stuff to certain things.
- 33:56SPEAKER_07: I like you said, the the artificial stuff, but I mean, there's gotta be there's gotta be something we can do to because our kids, my kids are gonna be freaking screwed.
- 34:08SPEAKER_06: Yeah, but you're you're you're you're you're parroting a sentence that's as old as time, and every generation has said, our kids are gonna be screwed.
- 34:19SPEAKER_06: You know, my dad watched my dad, my dad watched penny candy become nickel candy.
- 34:25SPEAKER_06: I watched nickel candy become quarter candy.
- 34:29SPEAKER_06: Okay, you know what I mean?
- 34:31SPEAKER_06: And now you're now your kids are looking at quarter candy and they're spending a buck twenty-five for it.
- 34:36SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 34:36SPEAKER_06: So I mean, it's it's just the way that it is.
- 34:39SPEAKER_07: And I get and I get that, but I mean it eventually you can only stack so much shit on a pile before it if it flops over.
- 34:48SPEAKER_07: If that makes any sense.
- 34:49SPEAKER_06: Well look, I mean we've re regardless of here's where I am, okay.
- 34:54SPEAKER_06: And and and I think, and people aren't gonna like this, but whatever, okay.
- 35:01SPEAKER_06: I think we went through four years of open borders and all kinds of crap and really bad inflation and and you know, re like just really COVID and the whole nine yards, all that stuff, right?
- 35:20SPEAKER_06: And so people are tired of struggling.
- 35:24SPEAKER_06: I think the things that the Trump administration are doing right now, energy independence, Venezuela, Greenland, uh, making the northern hemisphere strategically guarded by the United States, uh, putting in more offshore drilling, working towards energy independence, building factories.
- 35:53SPEAKER_06: This guy is laying the groundwork to completely reorganize our manufacturing sector in this country.
- 36:02SPEAKER_06: That doesn't happen in two years, but he's laying the foundation.
- 36:06SPEAKER_06: And because everybody's so tired of struggling, they want the thing, they want it fixed now, now, now.
- 36:14SPEAKER_06: But I think I think we're on the right track.
- 36:19SPEAKER_06: So if you have kids, if you're thinking about what your way you're voting, I can't tell you how to vote.
- 36:24SPEAKER_06: I can't tell you what to believe.
- 36:26SPEAKER_06: But from where I'm sitting, I want somebody that's put in America first.
- 36:33SPEAKER_06: And I don't want somebody who's screaming socialism.
- 36:36SPEAKER_06: All right, because socialism.
- 36:38SPEAKER_07: I don't disagree at all.
- 36:41SPEAKER_06: Socialism is antithetical to the American way of life.
- 36:45SPEAKER_06: All right, it is not an American political ideology.
- 36:49SPEAKER_06: And um, what we're watching in France right now and over in Europe, uh uh look, France has everything that the uh that the folks from uh the uh the Democrat Socialists of America, the DSA want.
- 37:07SPEAKER_06: France has all of that.
- 37:08SPEAKER_06: They have socialized medicine, they have healthcare, they have free school, they have free college, they have all of that stuff.
- 37:14SPEAKER_06: And guess what?
- 37:14SPEAKER_06: They have open borders, and guess what?
- 37:19SPEAKER_06: It still wasn't enough.
- 37:21SPEAKER_06: And France is burning now.
- 37:24SPEAKER_06: It's burning.
- 37:25SPEAKER_06: So there we go.
- 37:26SPEAKER_06: Moving on.
- 37:27SPEAKER_06: Midlife crisis starter pack from the manosphere.
- 37:32SPEAKER_06: Here's the thing.
- 37:33SPEAKER_06: I'm like 50, gonna be 54 in February.
- 37:39SPEAKER_06: Like I'm in that midlife crisis mode.
- 37:41SPEAKER_06: I'm getting there.
- 37:42SPEAKER_06: And I I I I I there's all of these things that you can do when you have your official midlife crisis defender, you know what I mean?
- 37:52SPEAKER_06: Some people go and buy a boat, some people go and buy a sports car, some people get a motorcycle.
- 38:02SPEAKER_06: Um people uh go get a weird tattoo, a questionable tattoo.
- 38:12SPEAKER_06: Some people buy an RV.
- 38:16SPEAKER_06: Um you're playing around with my screen here.
- 38:21SPEAKER_06: Uh so some people Yeah, that's alright.
- 38:26SPEAKER_06: Um there's all these things like some people get into like smoker grills and all this other stuff.
- 38:32SPEAKER_06: There's all this stuff I could get into, and I really don't know.
- 38:36SPEAKER_06: Like you can't do it all.
- 38:40SPEAKER_06: You know?
- 38:42SPEAKER_07: Although you want to do it.
- 38:43SPEAKER_07: I'm freezing.
- 38:44SPEAKER_07: So I got I'd like I got I got the grills.
- 38:46SPEAKER_07: I don't have the Corvette.
- 38:49SPEAKER_07: Um you got a you got a charger, don't you?
- 38:52SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I have char yeah, but I got that when I graduated from high school from my dad.
- 38:56SPEAKER_07: So it's a little different there, but uh and I'll probably put more time in trying to you know get it more worked up.
- 39:02SPEAKER_07: I mean it's great shape, but I'm not in a midlife crisis yet.
- 39:06SPEAKER_07: But um I'm not old as you.
- 39:10SPEAKER_10: Right.
- 39:11SPEAKER_07: But no, I see I see I I do see it.
- 39:13SPEAKER_07: I do see people doing that stuff, and and I already have a lot of stuff, you know, the smoker, you know, doing a lot of stuff you discussed.
- 39:21SPEAKER_07: So maybe when I get to midlife crisis, I'll just throw it all away and be like, alright, I'm gonna buy a motorcycle.
- 39:28SPEAKER_07: I don't know.
- 39:29SPEAKER_06: See, I mean, here's the thing.
- 39:30SPEAKER_06: I spent I spent the first 25 years of my marriage raising a family, paying bills, putting my interests last.
- 39:40SPEAKER_06: That's right now.
- 39:41SPEAKER_06: My wife wants for nothing, by the way.
- 39:43SPEAKER_06: Like, she wants for not, I mean, she, whatever she wants, she gets.
- 39:49SPEAKER_06: Me, I walk around with like 12 cents in my pocket all the time.
- 39:53SPEAKER_06: I never buy anything for myself.
- 39:57SPEAKER_06: And so now I'm getting to that age.
- 39:59SPEAKER_06: I told her the other night, I go, I go, one of these days, I'm gonna buy I'm gonna buy something that makes me happy.
- 40:05SPEAKER_06: And I don't want to hear a word.
- 40:07SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 40:08SPEAKER_06: Like, like I 69, 427 Mach 1 Mustang, you know, like I don't know, you know?
- 40:16SPEAKER_07: Sometimes people deserve stuff like that, but again, does it does it fill that fill that void?
- 40:21SPEAKER_07: That's a downfall of life in general, is you work your ass off, you do the grind, and then you hit your midlife crisis and you get it, and you're dead in 10, 20 years.
- 40:34SPEAKER_06: Well, but that's that's the thing, though.
- 40:36SPEAKER_06: When you reach this point in your life, after putting yourself last and making sure your kids have everything that they're supposed to have, and your wife has, you know, all that other stuff.
- 40:47SPEAKER_06: I I get it where guys like finally go, screw it.
- 40:53SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna buy something I've wanted since I was 19 years old, and that's all there is to it.
- 40:58SPEAKER_06: And when you do that, and everybody goes, Oh, TJ's going through a midlife crisis.
- 41:04SPEAKER_06: It's a midlife crisis, you know.
- 41:06SPEAKER_06: Uh maybe it's maybe it's just that guy's turn.
- 41:12SPEAKER_06: You know what I'm saying?
- 41:13SPEAKER_06: Like, there's a difference between buying a motorcycle because you always wanted one and buying a motorcycle because you're 53, pretending you're a 22-year-old rock star who can outrun Father Time.
- 41:28SPEAKER_06: And like, I don't think that.
- 41:30SPEAKER_06: I'm not at that place where I want to be a 22-year-old again.
- 41:38SPEAKER_06: And actually, the thought of it, like, scares the crap out of me.
- 41:41SPEAKER_06: I I I really don't want to go back, okay?
- 41:44SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I want to get old and suck on Werther's originals and sit in a recliner and watch my watch my grandkids grow up.
- 41:52SPEAKER_06: That's what I want to do.
- 41:53SPEAKER_06: Just leave me alone.
- 41:55SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 41:57SPEAKER_06: And yell at the kids out front, get off my lawn.
- 42:00SPEAKER_06: You know?
- 42:01SPEAKER_06: Like, that's what I that's what I want to do.
- 42:05SPEAKER_06: But there is an age where you should really stop trying to look cool.
- 42:10SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 42:12SPEAKER_06: And if buying a sports car at 50 during a midlife crisis, is it a crisis?
- 42:19SPEAKER_06: Is it a midlife crisis or a reward for celebrate uh for surviving 25 years of marriage?
- 42:26SPEAKER_06: You can look at it both ways.
- 42:30SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 42:31SPEAKER_06: What's more embarrassing?
- 42:33SPEAKER_06: The the Harley guy, the gym bro, or the dad who talks like he's 19 with the teenage slang.
- 42:39SPEAKER_06: I think it's the guy, the dad who talks like he's 19 with the teenage slang.
- 42:43SPEAKER_06: That drives me crazy.
- 42:45SPEAKER_06: I'm just like, dude.
- 42:48SPEAKER_07: Alright, so this is it is you freezing.
- 42:51SPEAKER_07: I mean, I was going nuts doing this.
- 42:54SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 42:55SPEAKER_07: So yeah, if there's a lag on TJ's side of things, it's it's definitely you're I just went to the live to watch the live real quick.
- 43:02SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 43:02SPEAKER_07: Sorry, I've been spacing to try not to talk as much because I'm trying to figure this out.
- 43:06SPEAKER_07: I'm going nuts with it.
- 43:07SPEAKER_07: Like every 10 seconds you're talking and you've nothing's lagging on uh from this side.
- 43:12SPEAKER_07: And that's the weird part.
- 43:14unknown: Yeah.
- 43:14SPEAKER_07: Like I'm watching, I'm watching the live right now on Facebook, and I can I'm watching your guy freeze every few seconds here and there.
- 43:21SPEAKER_07: Like you just froze right there, boom.
- 43:23SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I don't know, and it's random.
- 43:25SPEAKER_07: I was going nuts.
- 43:26SPEAKER_07: I thought it was some Eevee Monks or me or something, but it's you for sure.
- 43:30SPEAKER_07: So you're so you sound fine, you you look fine here, but there is a little legacy issue.
- 43:39SPEAKER_03: So there is anything.
- 44:00SPEAKER_07: Knew I knew something was wrong with this computer.
- 44:02SPEAKER_07: There he is.
- 44:03SPEAKER_07: Oh, he came back.
- 44:05SPEAKER_07: Yeah, that's the first time I've seen anything happen bad.
- 44:08SPEAKER_07: I'm I'm watching the internet drop up and down.
- 44:10SPEAKER_07: I think you have some kind of internet issue in Barrie.
- 44:13SPEAKER_07: Huh?
- 44:13SPEAKER_07: Something's going up and down.
- 44:14SPEAKER_07: I'm watching your buyers down here in the bottom left, and they keep going.
- 44:18SPEAKER_06: Weird.
- 44:19SPEAKER_06: Anyway, alright.
- 44:21SPEAKER_06: So listen.
- 44:22SPEAKER_06: If money were no objects, what's the most irresponsible thing you would buy tomorrow?
- 44:28SPEAKER_07: Oh shit.
- 44:30SPEAKER_07: Um.
- 44:37SPEAKER_07: You put me on the spot for that.
- 44:38SPEAKER_07: I did it.
- 44:39SPEAKER_06: I I I I actually did it today.
- 44:42SPEAKER_06: I I booked I booked a seven-day cruise today that cost about four grand.
- 44:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but still you do the cruises.
- 44:48SPEAKER_07: Now what something besides a cruise?
- 44:50SPEAKER_07: Something that's like a piece that you could take with you after.
- 44:52SPEAKER_07: Besides the memories.
- 44:53SPEAKER_07: Let me think on mine for a second what you think of yours.
- 44:56SPEAKER_06: Here's the thing.
- 44:57SPEAKER_06: If money were no option, and I could I could buy whatever I wanted tomorrow.
- 45:07SPEAKER_06: I would buy an Eleanor.
- 45:10SPEAKER_06: I would buy a m- I would buy the Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds.
- 45:15SPEAKER_06: That is my absolute dream car.
- 45:18SPEAKER_06: And and that's that I would buy.
- 45:22SPEAKER_05: That's absolutely.
- 45:27SPEAKER_06: I would buy a modest little island.
- 45:33SPEAKER_07: Like, you know, not a not a massive baby hue stand.
- 45:38SPEAKER_07: Baby Hue stand.
- 45:39SPEAKER_07: I love it.
- 45:40SPEAKER_07: Baby Huey stand.
- 45:42SPEAKER_07: Yeah, some that's that's fresh water, not salt water.
- 45:45SPEAKER_07: Fresh water like something like off Lake Shape.
- 45:46SPEAKER_07: I buy a little something off Lake Champlain.
- 45:48SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 45:50SPEAKER_07: That's what I buy.
- 45:52SPEAKER_07: Alaska, actually.
- 45:53SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 45:55SPEAKER_06: And your wife would instantly say you're having a midlife crisis if you did that.
- 45:58SPEAKER_06: Well, she'll probably leave me.
- 46:00SPEAKER_06: Yeah, well, there you go.
- 46:01SPEAKER_06: There you go.
- 46:02SPEAKER_06: All right, on to sports.
- 46:04SPEAKER_06: NFL football.
- 46:06SPEAKER_06: Oh my god, this is a hard topic to talk about.
- 46:11SPEAKER_06: Both of our teams suck on ice.
- 46:14SPEAKER_06: Uh Jalen Hurts is out for the season.
- 46:17SPEAKER_06: What thoughts?
- 46:18SPEAKER_06: Your Eagles screwed him.
- 46:21SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 46:22SPEAKER_06: Well, I just saw just a couple of minutes ago that the Eagles team doctor has resigned, as he should.
- 46:27SPEAKER_06: Well, they beat him as he should stay off like 30-something hours and all 36 hours without sleep, and the guy still threw 220 yards through the air.
- 46:38SPEAKER_06: But still.
- 46:39SPEAKER_06: So yeah.
- 46:42SPEAKER_06: So on game day, he was up for 36 hours, which is ridiculous.
- 46:47SPEAKER_06: But that doesn't change what we're watching this year in the NFL.
- 46:51SPEAKER_06: Do you notice like every play gets reviewed?
- 46:55SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 46:55SPEAKER_06: Every hit gets debated.
- 46:58SPEAKER_06: All of a sudden we're constantly going to the instant replay.
- 47:02SPEAKER_06: Like, do you know that a football game is three and a half hours and there's only actually about 12 minutes of action on the field?
- 47:10SPEAKER_07: Wait, they got they got to f obviously they have to fix the mistake.
- 47:14SPEAKER_07: But you don't need you know you don't need the commentary for 14 different angles.
- 47:18SPEAKER_07: That's the problem.
- 47:21SPEAKER_06: And and you need a law degree these days to figure out what is a catch and what isn't a catch.
- 47:27SPEAKER_06: Well, he was going to the ground with it.
- 47:29SPEAKER_06: It was a football move.
- 47:31SPEAKER_06: It was and from one catch to the next, it's different.
- 47:35SPEAKER_06: I think the NFL has made it too complicated.
- 47:41SPEAKER_06: When a call goes against your team, you get mad about it, but that's not what we're seeing here.
- 47:47SPEAKER_06: It's not it's and and then on top of that, I I like to call it the flag football league formerly known as the NFL.
- 48:01SPEAKER_06: Because you cannot touch a quarterback in the NFL.
- 48:04SPEAKER_06: You can't.
- 48:05SPEAKER_06: You sneak on a quarterback, and there's a flag being thrown.
- 48:11SPEAKER_06: And you go back to those days of you know, Dick Butkiss and you know, all these big monsters, and it's just like, you know, a quarterback gets breathed on, the flag comes out, a receiver gets touched, the flag comes out, a coach says something rude, suddenly the other team gets free yardage.
- 48:32SPEAKER_06: Look, back in the day, football was a contact sport.
- 48:37SPEAKER_06: And if you took if if you look at a quarterback with the wrong facial expression these days, they're flagging you for aggravated feelings or something.
- 48:50SPEAKER_09: I don't I don't know.
- 48:53SPEAKER_06: You know, but I the NFL has become too soft.
- 49:01SPEAKER_06: I I get it that there's gotta be rules there to protect the players.
- 49:04SPEAKER_06: But on top of that, holy crap, we can't even get the rules right.
- 49:10SPEAKER_06: You know, like every game there's a there's uh and college football too.
- 49:18SPEAKER_06: Do you know how many g games that have come down to the last play of the game this year in college football?
- 49:22SPEAKER_06: Where teams thought they won the game and it was, you know.
- 49:25SPEAKER_07: Reviewed.
- 49:26SPEAKER_07: Oh no, never mind.
- 49:28SPEAKER_07: No, that's the the rules the rules of the NFL are are are there for the player's protection, but it's still a sport, and they're getting paid millions of dollars to put their bodies in line.
- 49:37SPEAKER_07: Like I learned this years ago in NASCAR.
- 49:39SPEAKER_07: Back when I was back before I was like in the race control and doing time and scoring when I was doing track safety, you know, fire rescue stuff.
- 49:48SPEAKER_07: I learned they're paid millions of dollars to strap in that car and be idiots and smash it to the walls and other cars.
- 49:56SPEAKER_07: Yeah you're paid twenty you're paid twenty bucks an hour to make sure those idiots stay alive.
- 50:00SPEAKER_07: Your life's not worth saving a millionaire's life.
- 50:04SPEAKER_07: So those guys are getting paid millions of dollars just to take the hits.
- 50:09SPEAKER_07: They gotta take the hits and and deal the consequences, unfortunately.
- 50:13SPEAKER_07: If they're they're getting that kind of money, they gotta they gotta put on those big helmets.
- 50:17SPEAKER_07: Whatever you want to do.
- 50:18SPEAKER_06: Well, in October, officials in the NFL faced scrutiny because of heated exchanges with players and coaches.
- 50:25SPEAKER_06: One official was suspended for two games and another for one game after separate incidents.
- 50:31SPEAKER_06: So now we got we got the the referees mouthing off.
- 50:35SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 50:36SPEAKER_06: And then you get to instant replay.
- 50:40SPEAKER_06: Where you can show somebody something and everybody will argue about what they just saw.
- 50:46SPEAKER_06: You know, the play happens in two seconds.
- 50:49SPEAKER_06: 14 camera angles, three officials, a headset conversation, a commercial break later, someone announces a decision that half the country still hates.
- 51:01SPEAKER_07: But it's because it's half the time they hit it because it's it's your team.
- 51:05SPEAKER_07: It takes 12 minutes.
- 51:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah, go ahead.
- 51:09SPEAKER_07: I'll say, you know, it is, you know, we we're always be more biased if it's it's our team.
- 51:14SPEAKER_07: But there's calls where I've seen because I watch a lot of red zone.
- 51:18SPEAKER_07: I get to watch football now because I've made a stupid racetrack.
- 51:20SPEAKER_07: So I lots of a lot of red zone.
- 51:22SPEAKER_07: You see all the the final you know touchdowns and all that stuff, and uh there's calls I see when I'm rooting for the other team and I'm going, oh shit.
- 51:31SPEAKER_07: I kind of agree with that call.
- 51:33SPEAKER_07: But then you spend that 14 different angles and 20 minutes of commentary on that one call.
- 51:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah, well, it takes 12 minutes and a forensic investigator to figure out whether the guy caught the ball or not.
- 51:43SPEAKER_06: Maybe we just need to simplify the damn rule.
- 51:45SPEAKER_06: I'm just saying.
- 51:46unknown: Yeah.
- 51:47SPEAKER_06: You know, we agree.
- 51:48SPEAKER_06: We never had this problem.
- 51:49SPEAKER_06: Would you rather have a faster game with a few bad calls or a slower game with more reviews?
- 51:55SPEAKER_06: I'd rather have a faster game with a few bad calls.
- 51:58SPEAKER_06: You know, rather than slowing everything down.
- 52:01SPEAKER_06: And the and the strongest real world example to bring to the conversation is the NFL acknowledges that controversial defensive pass interference calls against the Rams in their September 26th game against Denver, it was incorrect.
- 52:19SPEAKER_06: The refs blew it.
- 52:20SPEAKER_06: They made the wrong call on the field.
- 52:23SPEAKER_06: And the flag erased an interception, extended Denver's drive, helped them set up the winning touchdown.
- 52:30SPEAKER_06: And then this month, another controversial call involving the the Buffalo Bills and the Rams.
- 52:36SPEAKER_06: You know, a replay reversal.
- 52:38SPEAKER_06: So, you know, I think fans can accept their team getting beaten.
- 52:45SPEAKER_06: What they can't accept is losing because the rules seems to change depending on which referee is holding the flag.
- 52:51SPEAKER_07: Same thing happens in NASCAR.
- 52:52SPEAKER_07: The rules apply to who appeases them.
- 52:57SPEAKER_06: Alright, let's uh let's pull, let's let's do a poll here.
- 53:00SPEAKER_06: What's the biggest problem in the NFL?
- 53:03SPEAKER_06: Is it too many penalties?
- 53:04SPEAKER_06: Is it too many commercials?
- 53:06SPEAKER_06: Is it confusing rules?
- 53:08SPEAKER_06: Or is it soft tackling?
- 53:10SPEAKER_06: Or is it all of the above?
- 53:11SPEAKER_07: Well, you're gonna have the commercials.
- 53:13SPEAKER_07: Without the commercials, you're not gonna have the NFL for any sports.
- 53:16SPEAKER_07: Commercials from back my background to racing, the commercials are there forever and they're gonna get worse.
- 53:20SPEAKER_07: I would say it's not too many penalties because teams inflict their own penalties, and I'm gonna say it's the rough and the passer.
- 53:31SPEAKER_07: That's one of the big things.
- 53:33SPEAKER_07: I think like I said, they're gonna pay millions, they gotta take those hits.
- 53:37SPEAKER_07: We want to see smash mouth football.
- 53:39SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 53:40SPEAKER_06: That's what we want to see.
- 53:41SPEAKER_06: I mean, I don't want to see the ballot.
- 53:42SPEAKER_07: We're violent people, it's a violent sport, man.
- 53:45SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 53:46SPEAKER_07: I don't want to see quarterbacks get smashed in the back or even anybody get smashed in the back, you know.
- 53:51SPEAKER_07: I mean, it'd be a clean hit, but you got if you if Leon Lett's coming in that freaking on that left side and and and smashes with uh Buccus on the right side, I mean that quarterback should be frickin' picking his teeth up.
- 54:06SPEAKER_07: I mean, that's that's football.
- 54:07SPEAKER_07: You're paid no.
- 54:08SPEAKER_06: Should NFL officials be held to the same standard as the players?
- 54:12SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 54:14SPEAKER_06: Yeah, I think so too.
- 54:16SPEAKER_06: It should be hit, too.
- 54:19SPEAKER_06: And w what's the most infuriating thing other than your Cowboys and my Eagles?
- 54:26SPEAKER_06: A blown call, a prevent defense collapse, a coach wasting a timeout, or your team blowing the lead.
- 54:35SPEAKER_05: Blowing the lead.
- 54:37SPEAKER_05: Blowing the lead, absolutely.
- 54:39SPEAKER_05: Oh, no matter what.
- 54:40SPEAKER_07: I mean, I mean, look at me with the frickin' Ravens a few weeks ago.
- 54:44SPEAKER_07: Next week you did the same thing.
- 54:45SPEAKER_07: I was like, we got this, we got this today.
- 54:46SPEAKER_07: Eight seconds.
- 54:47SPEAKER_07: Eight seconds on the law.
- 54:48SPEAKER_07: Eight seconds.
- 54:48SPEAKER_07: Yours was eight, mine was three.
- 54:50SPEAKER_07: Eight.
- 54:51SPEAKER_06: Crazy.
- 54:52SPEAKER_06: Absolute crazy.
- 54:53SPEAKER_06: All right, finally, from technology tonight.
- 54:56SPEAKER_06: Uh, we all saw it.
- 54:58SPEAKER_06: The testicle the flying roadster.
- 55:02SPEAKER_06: It finally showed up.
- 55:04SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 55:04SPEAKER_06: And um the question is, is it the greatest engineering achievement of our lifetime or the world's most expensive magic trick?
- 55:15SPEAKER_06: It's cool, um, but it's never gonna happen.
- 55:19SPEAKER_07: What's gonna happen is not for a long, long time, and I'll tell you why after you're ready.
- 55:25SPEAKER_06: Well, here's here's my take.
- 55:27SPEAKER_06: Here's my take.
- 55:29SPEAKER_06: Um, auto manufacturers, whether it be Tesla or the big three, Ford, Chevy, GM, Pontiac, uh, over the years, they've all done what they call concept cars.
- 55:43SPEAKER_06: They put out these special cars for auto shows and everything else.
- 55:47SPEAKER_06: And this is gonna be a production line car.
- 55:50SPEAKER_06: It's a concept right now, but down the road, we're gonna make this thing.
- 55:54SPEAKER_06: I don't think what they and and and that car, that that weird ass concept car that they put out would have all kinds of features and all kinds of things that would never end up in the production model that they ended up building, and it wouldn't it wouldn't even look like the car that they showed originally when it was a concept.
- 56:16SPEAKER_07: So I you're freaking freezing bad.
- 56:21SPEAKER_07: You're frozen, he's froze completely again.
- 56:24SPEAKER_07: And we're gonna lose connection to him.
- 56:26SPEAKER_07: When he comes back, I'm gonna ask a question about his maybe his editor running or something.
- 56:35SPEAKER_07: It's cool, it's cool as shit, I think.
- 56:37SPEAKER_07: But are we out of it happening in the next 20, 30 years?
- 56:44SPEAKER_07: No, because the technology's not there.
- 56:46SPEAKER_07: I just think the technology obviously is there.
- 56:49SPEAKER_07: But there's too many variables once he gets back.
- 56:53SPEAKER_07: This is a great photo of his where he's froze.
- 56:56SPEAKER_07: I think it's hilarious.
- 56:57SPEAKER_07: He's like I'm not sure if he can see it.
- 57:01SPEAKER_07: But um I'm not sure if he's photo.
- 57:33SPEAKER_07: Um the cool concept of a car.
- 57:38SPEAKER_07: But it's just uh too many variables.
- 57:44SPEAKER_07: I mean, I'll say this again to you, I'm sorry I got to hear it twice.
- 57:47SPEAKER_07: But the the power lines, you can't have a car flying around now and take off when you're overhead power lines because most of America is is still on overhead power lines, you don't have underground.
- 57:59SPEAKER_07: Like now where I live, there's a lot of underground power lines and all that stuff.
- 58:02SPEAKER_07: But in the reality of things, the second thing is going down Interstate.
- 58:08SPEAKER_07: Oh, I want to get past these cars.
- 58:09SPEAKER_07: You jump up, oh, there's a big old sign, exit here, whatever, you know, merge here, whatever signs.
- 58:16SPEAKER_07: Those are there.
- 58:17SPEAKER_07: Those are the two biggest things right off the top of my head.
- 58:19SPEAKER_07: As soon as I saw this, I was like, there's no freaking way they're flying these cars the next 20, 30, 40 years because of those variables.
- 58:26SPEAKER_07: So that costs cost more money.
- 58:28SPEAKER_07: Oh, there you are.
- 58:29SPEAKER_07: Welcome back.
- 58:30SPEAKER_07: Oh, thank you.
- 58:31SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you're definitely frozen up.
- 58:33SPEAKER_07: Do you have your editor running?
- 58:34SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 58:36SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 58:36SPEAKER_07: It's all shut down.
- 58:38SPEAKER_07: Alright, yeah, because it's I think it's still something on the internet.
- 58:41SPEAKER_07: You froze again right there.
- 58:45SPEAKER_07: That's weird.
- 58:46SPEAKER_05: I don't know.
- 58:46SPEAKER_05: I'll have to figure it out.
- 58:48SPEAKER_07: So I'll I was talking, I don't think it's you, I think it's actually your internet because when we did that speed test, like you're frozen again right there, and you're moving again.
- 58:54SPEAKER_07: Um I think it's something going on with your provider.
- 58:58SPEAKER_07: Hmm.
- 58:59SPEAKER_07: I was just talking about the the Tesla and the reason I was waiting till you got back, but I started talking about it.
- 59:04SPEAKER_07: But I said, so it's a cool concept.
- 59:06SPEAKER_07: And it's like whole concept cars of all those guys they do, they're they're phenomenal.
- 59:12SPEAKER_07: But the reason this is not gonna happen in the next 20, 30, 40 years, and there's two two two of the biggest things popped my head.
- 59:19SPEAKER_07: I saw this, and the first thing I thought is you can't take off your house in most neighborhoods.
- 59:26SPEAKER_07: Like you want to go up in the air, you got power lines, you got trees.
- 59:31SPEAKER_07: You're going down the road, oh shit, it's a deer in the road.
- 59:33SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna be up in the air and around it.
- 59:35SPEAKER_07: You can't power lines.
- 59:36SPEAKER_07: That's the first thing that popped my head.
- 59:37SPEAKER_07: The second thing is I'm driving down the interstate.
- 59:40SPEAKER_07: All right, traffic is jammed up, I'm out of here.
- 59:42SPEAKER_07: I take off.
- 59:43SPEAKER_07: Start going.
- 59:44SPEAKER_07: Oh shit, big old sign, right?
- 59:48SPEAKER_07: Smash.
- 59:49SPEAKER_07: There's just two little things I thought of.
- 59:51SPEAKER_07: That's it would cost too much money to power.
- 59:54SPEAKER_06: I don't, I don't, I don't disagree with you.
- 59:56SPEAKER_06: However, I will say this.
- 59:59SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_06: Um Elon Musk just made a car do things that Knight Rider couldn't do.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_06: Oh, yeah, that's phenomenal.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:00:09SPEAKER_06: Alright.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 1:00:11SPEAKER_06: Elon Musk just and look, we all are we all have grown up in this age where we're like, hey, when we getting them flying cars like on the Jetsons.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_06: We were told we were gonna get them.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_06: And that photo that's on the screen right now, does that not look like if you squint a little bit?
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_06: Does it look like the DeLorean from Back to the Future?
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_06: Like it does, right?
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_06: And um, look, I think everybody knows that uh this isn't right around the corner.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_06: Okay, zero to sixty in point eight seconds.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_06: Um the suction fans that are on the bottom of the car that suck it to the to the to the road uh is cool.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_06: Um deposits have started on the car.
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_06: The car is it's not gonna have any of these features when it comes out.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_06: Alright, 50k.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_07: We don't see the car flying, it's slowly landing, good concept.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_07: Flip cars, yeah.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_07: That's what Michelle says.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_07: Just because we can make something doesn't mean we actually need it.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_06: No, and and and that's that's the thing.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_06: We're not ready.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_06: You're right.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_06: We're not ready for flying cars.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_06: However, the science has to start somewhere.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_06: And this is a guy who's catching rockets out of the freaking sky.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_06: Alright?
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_06: Like, you all of this stuff that we're seeing with X and SpaceX, it's technology that they put into that Tesla.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_06: Alright?
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_06: And and that's how things get developed.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_06: You know how many things that we have today that were developed by NASA that are regular things today but weren't in the 60s.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_06: And uh and all of it came from NASA.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_06: I think what we just watched was the beginning of the science.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you know it's the next Moonlander.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_06: Uh the car, when it comes out in 2028, is not gonna have rocket boosters on it.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_06: It's just not.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_06: No.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_06: No.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_06: But people who are calling it a magic trick, uh I don't think I I get where they're coming from with that, but I don't think they're giving him his due.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_06: I don't care.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_06: I I don't I don't care if you think it's a magic trick or not, to make a car do that, okay?
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_06: And and not just explode or to make it land on all four wheels and keep driving, okay?
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_06: With compressed air and to suck it upside down like Spider-Man, you know what I mean, to a to a road.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_06: That that's that's some pretty cool stuff, man.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_06: And I think what happens is Elon Musk is this polarizing guy.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_06: You know, back before he bought Twitter, okay.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_06: He was he was the environmentalist, he was a dream to the environmentalist.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_06: Oh, Elon Musk is so smart, he's making these green cards, and da-da-da.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_06: We gotta have one, and da da da da.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_06: And then he buys X and comes out mag.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_06: He's an idiot.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_06: Well, he's not an idiot, okay?
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_06: Oh, he's right.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_07: He has built a phenomenal program.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_06: And here's the thing I think there are a lot of people out there when they look at this stuff that Elon Musk is doing, they're seeing the label.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_06: They're not seeing the car.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_06: The people who thought it was cool saw the car.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_06: People who are out there ripping it, going, oh, it was a magic parlor trick.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_06: It was just he's not even really an inventor.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_06: They're pissed because Elon is MAGA.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_06: And they're seeing the label.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_05: And that's that's the bottom line.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_07: He's do he is the guy that's transformed from the electric cars to the flying cars to SpaceX.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_07: I mean, we all wish we were at Elon Musk.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_07: Would you ride in it?
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_07: Oh fuck yeah.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_06: All right, flying car or flying motorcycle.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_06: Car.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_06: I I'm not.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_06: I think uh I think we're gonna have flying motorcycles before we have flying cars.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_06: Just because they're lighter.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_07: So wait, are we finally gonna have a are we finally gonna have a hoverboard?
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_07: We we already do have hoverboards.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_07: No, no, like the real hoverboard, not the ones with the wheels, the ones that like Marty McFly.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_06: No, we do have there there are like there is a there's a company uh you can look it up.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_06: They're they're they've made them really, yeah.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_06: I didn't know that.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_06: Real hoverboard.
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_06: If you had the money, would you would you buy this thing?
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_06: See, I I I just I don't even know why I'm asking that because it's just not gonna have the the features that you know the features were for display anyway.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_06: And look, Elon Musk.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_06: When's the last time you saw when's the last time you saw a Tesla commercial?
- 1:05:43unknown: I don't have to.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_06: You've never seen one because they don't advertise.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_06: Oh now think about what Elon just did.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_06: That was a huge you can't buy advertising like what he just did.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_06: Everybody's talking about it.
- 1:05:56SPEAKER_06: Everybody's talking about the new roadster.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_06: And so from that standpoint, yes.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_06: That makes sense to be kind of a part of here.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_07: Gonna take these two as Moon City.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_07: You know, gonna take parts of the moon city.
- 1:06:11SPEAKER_07: That makes sense.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_07: Some of the drunk uh person in space got pissed off.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_07: Oh crap, going too far.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_06: Well, he's already launched one into space.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_06: There's already one up there floating around.
- 1:06:23SPEAKER_06: They're outstairs, yeah.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_06: You know.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_06: Oh yeah.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_06: But that's the first one.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_06: Alrighty.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_06: That's open season tonight.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_06: If uh you got a comment, dump them in the uh comment section.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_06: And uh, well, listen, you agree with us?
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_06: Great, roast us, double down, drop take.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_06: You were too scared to stay, I don't care.
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_06: Uh, till the next hunt.
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_06: That's open season on the Alpha Men podcast.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_01: Step forward and plead your case.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: Just know the verdict was probably decided before you started talking.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_06: Alrighty, mancourt back in uh session.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_06: You send us the domestic disputes, we haul them into mancourt for ruling with the uh guidance of the uh freak jury that'll hold up at any bar in America.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_06: If you've got a problem that needs solving, you can visit any of our social media pages and drop your mancourt dilemma in a DM.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_06: And uh John, the freak jury's standing by.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah, they can join us anytime and uh give a comment, their opinion, and their thoughts on uh what tonight's topic's gonna be, and uh we'll see where this case goes.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_06: Alrighty.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_06: Uh let's dive into tonight's case where bad decisions are put on trial, and common sense is the only law we pretend to file.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_06: What's our docket number tonight?
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_07: 26, 10, 20.
- 1:08:35SPEAKER_07: Alrighty.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_07: Uh so the plaintiff is Randy from Muncie.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_07: Muncie.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_07: Muncie.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_07: Muncey.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_06: Muncie, Indiana.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_07: That's not CH.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_06: I worked, I worked with a I worked with a guy one time from Muncie, Indiana.
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_06: Oh, I know.
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_06: At a radio station in Gainesville, Florida.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_06: Yeah, his name's Chris Carter.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_06: Chris Carter.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_06: Yeah, anyway.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_07: So the case, this is called the case of the recliner recluse versus the honey to do honeydew abuse.
- 1:09:03SPEAKER_07: That's time twister.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_06: The case of the recliner recluse versus the honeydew abuse.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_06: Randy writes, Dear Judge TJ and baby Huey, I'm writing to request emergency intervention before my marriage turns into a full-time unpaid internship at Lowe's.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_06: I'm a 52-year-old American man from Muncie, Indiana.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_06: I've been married for 24 years, and until recently, I thought I'd achieve the American dream.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_06: A decent job, a cold beer, a 65-inch television, and a recliner with enough ass groove in it to qualify as a historic landmark.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_06: But lately, my wife has developed what I call, I can only describe as an aggressive case of Pinterest poisoning.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_05: Oh boy.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_06: You know, it started innocently enough.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_06: She asked me to hang a picture.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_06: Fine, I'm a man, I got a drill, a level, absolutely no idea where the studs are, but I can get the job done.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_06: Then came the floating shelves, the new kitchen faucet, then replacing a light fixture that was working perfectly fine until she saw a picture of a farmhouse kitchen on Facebook.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_06: Last Saturday she handed me a list titled Little Weekend Projects in quotation marks.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_06: Your honor, it was four pages long.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_06: I'm talking painting the guest bedroom, installing new cabinet handles, pressure washing the deck, fixing the loose fence post, building some kind of decorative wooden thing for the front porch that apparently serves no purpose other than collecting fake pumpkins.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_06: Meanwhile, I've got a genuine emergency happening in the living room.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_06: The batteries in my remote are dying.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_06: Nobody seems to care.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_06: When I suggested hiring a professional, my wife looked at me like I'd just proposed selling our children for beer money.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_06: She said, Why should we pay someone when you can do it yourself?
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_06: Your honor, that's the same logic I use when I refuse to go to the doctor.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_06: And yet somehow she's not impressed by my medical expertise either.
- 1:11:25SPEAKER_06: Now she says I'm lazy because I spend Sunday watching football instead of building a pergola.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_06: I told her that Sunday football is sacred.
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_06: It's an American tradition.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_06: She told me the pergola would only take a few hours.
- 1:11:41SPEAKER_06: That's when I knew she'd either she was either delusional or possessed by the spirit of Bob Vila.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_06: This is a good letter.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_06: So I asked the court, does marriage automatically make a man the unpaid maintenance department of the house?
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_06: Is a weekend project legally required to fit inside one weekend?
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_06: Can a husband plead temporarily temporary disability whenever his wife says the words, I saw this on Pinterest?
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_06: I await your ruling, preferably while sitting in my reclun recliner with the giant ass group.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_06: Respectfully submitting Randy Muncie, Indiana.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_06: P.S.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_06: If the court rules in my wife's favor, can I at least get credit for the three trips to Home Depot?
- 1:12:32SPEAKER_06: I believe that's called time served.
- 1:12:37SPEAKER_06: There you go.
- 1:12:39SPEAKER_06: Where is the uh case tonight?
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_06: Uh freak jury, you can weigh in.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_06: Comments are open.
- 1:12:46SPEAKER_06: Is uh Randy a lazy husband?
- 1:12:50SPEAKER_06: Or is his wife guilty of aggravated honey due abuse in the first degree?
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_07: I think she's a little bit of maybe a little lazy, but we're all deserved, we're all entitled to uh little R.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_07: Relax.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_06: Well, I mean, let's get this straight.
- 1:13:07SPEAKER_06: Mary's been let's let's let's just Randy's been married 24 years, he says.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_06: Uh his reward for all of that hard work is becoming an unpaid general contractor for a home renovation show that nobody asked for here, right?
- 1:13:21SPEAKER_06: I mean, uh, do I have that right?
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_06: Absolutely.
- 1:13:25SPEAKER_06: I mean, I always tell my wife, listen, you don't have to remind me every six months to fix something, and eventually I'll get to it.
- 1:13:35SPEAKER_07: Bet y'all need it not to fix it.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_06: You know what I mean?
- 1:13:39SPEAKER_06: His wife started with one little picture frame, and now she's got this poor guy rebuilding the house one Pinterest project at a time.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_06: I don't care who you are, four pages of weekend chores.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_06: Come on, dude.
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_06: Come on.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_06: And listen, she's not doing four pages a weekend chores.
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_06: Because if she was, she wouldn't have all this time to be finding stuff on Pinterest.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_06: Right?
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_06: Meanwhile, Randy's just trying to enjoy a cold beer and watch some football.
- 1:14:10SPEAKER_06: I get it.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_06: You know, maintain structural integrity of his recliner.
- 1:14:20SPEAKER_06: So, um I don't know.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_06: What do you think?
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_07: Deserve that chair time to relax.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_07: And uh that's how I feel.
- 1:14:39SPEAKER_06: This court has heard the evidence.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_06: After examining the uh four-page honeydew list and hearing the testimony regarding the unauthorized deployment of decorative porch pumpkins, I will find that Randy is not guilty.
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_06: All right.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_06: Man who works 40 hours a week, pays the mortgage, maintains a vehicle, keeps the refrigerator stocked with beer.
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_06: Let's face it, he's already fulfilled the civil obligations to civilization there.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_06: Right?
- 1:15:20SPEAKER_06: He's not required to spend every waking moment building farmhouse furniture for a woman who thinks Pinterest is legally uh legally binding construction contract.
- 1:15:33SPEAKER_06: So the sentence, Randy, is you are hereby sentenced to uninterrupted six-hour block of football this coming weekend, beer drinking, professional grade recliner testing, free from honeydew requests, guilt trips, and passive aggressive sighing.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_06: Your wife?
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_06: She is ordered to limit weekend projects to two projects per month.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_06: I think that's fair.
- 1:16:07SPEAKER_06: And he still's gotta do stuff.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_06: Still gotta pull his own weight around the house.
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_06: Still gotta fix things.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_06: But four pages of chores on a weekend.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_06: Come on.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_06: Alright?
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_06: Yep.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_06: That's a lot.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_06: Two projects per month.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_06: They can overlap weekends.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_06: Like if it's a big project, right?
- 1:16:33SPEAKER_06: Alright.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_06: Any task beginning with the phrase, honey, while you're up, shall be considered a violation of the court's peace treaty.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_06: Furthermore, all decorative pumpkins throw pillows and household accessories that serve no practical purpose, hereby classified as her problem, her project, her damn responsibility.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_06: Fair?
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_06: Finally, Randy, we award you one hundred dollars in compensate compensatory peer money payable by your wife in the form of cash, cold beverages, or a gift card to a local hardware store that you are under no obligation to visit.
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_06: Man's home is his castle, recliner is his throne.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_06: Sunday football is a constitutional right that predates Pinterest by approximately 200 years.
- 1:17:33SPEAKER_06: Randy, you're free.
- 1:17:35SPEAKER_06: Gavel down.
- 1:17:40SPEAKER_06: The Alpha Men Podcast.
- 1:17:47SPEAKER_04: You are attacking our news organization.
- 1:17:51SPEAKER_04: Sir President Black, go ahead.
- 1:17:56SPEAKER_04: You are fake news.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_06: Alright, time for real or uh fake news, part of the show where I feed Baby Huey four of the most insane headlines from this week.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_06: Only much like our actual news media, three of them are completely 100% made up bull crap.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_06: One is gloriously embarrassingly real.
- 1:18:21SPEAKER_06: Your job, baby Huey, is to find the real news story.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_06: It's free to play our home game, by the way.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_06: Just type in the comments what story you think is the real news.
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_06: Because let's face it, John could use all the help he can get.
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_06: You ready?
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_06: I'm ready.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_06: Headline number one.
- 1:18:39SPEAKER_06: Ohio HOA finds homeowner$250 for displaying Halloween skeletons in positions that violate community standards.
- 1:18:52SPEAKER_06: That's headline number one.
- 1:18:54SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_06: Headline number two.
- 1:18:59SPEAKER_06: German town considers mandatory speed limits for electric bikes after retirees begin terrifying pedestrians on sidewalks.
- 1:19:11SPEAKER_05: That's headline number two.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_06: Headline number three, Mr.
- 1:19:17SPEAKER_06: England pageant postponed due to national hunk shortage.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_06: Mr.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_06: England pageant postponed due to national hunk shortage.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_06: And headline number four, City finds South Carolina man$400 after neighbors report him for repeatedly mowing his lawn at 6 a.m.

- 1:20:54SPEAKER_06: Mr.
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_06: England.
- 1:20:55SPEAKER_06: Due to national hunk shortage.

- 1:21:33SPEAKER_06: I'll tell you why.
- 1:21:34SPEAKER_06: Tell you why that's made up.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_06: I was driving from Bethel, Vermont to Killington, Vermont this week on a back road.
- 1:21:42SPEAKER_06: And I saw a display that was uh very graphic.
- 1:22:22SPEAKER_07: So sorry everybody for uh technical issues.
- 1:22:33SPEAKER_07: I guess I forgot it was gonna radio for 35 years.
- 1:22:37SPEAKER_07: Um I agree with you.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_07: I think skeletons are so cool.
- 1:22:45SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you guys make one setting up.
- 1:22:59SPEAKER_07: I mean I can scroll down and see what the pictures are.
- 1:23:12SPEAKER_01: What is everybody up to?

- 1:23:25SPEAKER_07: So yeah, so I'm I was shell we we you said it wasn't skeletons, so I'm thinking uh that's the other HO I want.
- 1:23:34SPEAKER_07: It's gotta be.
- 1:23:38SPEAKER_07: No.
- 1:23:39SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_07: No.
- 1:23:42SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 1:23:43SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 1:23:44SPEAKER_07: German, German thing.
- 1:23:45SPEAKER_07: Screw it.
- 1:23:46SPEAKER_07: I don't know what the hunk thing is, so we're going with a hunk.
- 1:23:48unknown: We're going with a hunk.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_06: Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.
- 1:23:51SPEAKER_06: This may be a reverse Prince Harry trend coming because British women may be experiencing a shortage of hot men across the pond.
- 1:24:00SPEAKER_06: The latest Mr.
- 1:24:02SPEAKER_06: England beauty pageant was supposed to crown a new winner two weekends ago.
- 1:24:07SPEAKER_06: But the whole thing has been thrown into chaos because they say there's a national hunk shortage.
- 1:24:15SPEAKER_06: Initially, only seven men entered the contest.
- 1:24:19SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 1:24:20SPEAKER_06: Eventually, they scrapped together ten beautiful men to compete, but then two of them dropped out.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_06: A few others joined at the last minute, but uh well, let's just say they weren't all that in a bag of chips.
- 1:24:33SPEAKER_06: They weren't very impressive.
- 1:24:34SPEAKER_06: Be like me or you going, yeah, I'll fill in.
- 1:24:38SPEAKER_06: I got discovered.
- 1:24:41SPEAKER_06: And the judges couldn't agree on a winner.
- 1:24:43SPEAKER_06: Organizers uh deliberated and decided to postpone the whole thing five weeks to give themselves time to find some better options.
- 1:24:51SPEAKER_06: So sounds like current contestants will be uh given the opportunity to compete next month.
- 1:24:56SPEAKER_06: Uh, they mainly wanted to start over and give everyone a fair shot with simple preparation.
- 1:25:01SPEAKER_06: And uh yeah, not enough hunky men in England to do the Mr.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_06: England competition.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_06: Embarrassingly.
- 1:25:12SPEAKER_06: That is the real story tonight on real or fake news on the Alpha Men podcast.
- 1:25:17SPEAKER_07: Oh, DJ, the picture.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_07: We can absolutely look just like that.
- 1:25:22SPEAKER_06: Absolutely.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:25:26SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:26SPEAKER_07: That's that's my next line.
- 1:25:29SPEAKER_01: Ah, red foreman off the red foreman now.
- 1:25:32SPEAKER_01: And now the Red Foreman Awards, where you make dumb choices, you will win dumbass awards.
- 1:25:38SPEAKER_01: Dumbass.
- 1:25:39SPEAKER_06: You dumbass.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_06: It is the only award show where the trophy is a size 12 steel-toed boot delivered straight to your rear end, brought to you by Point Place's patron saint of dumbass justice himself from that 70s show, Red Foreman.
- 1:26:03SPEAKER_06: Tonight we're handing out golden formans to some of the most impressively stupid criminals walking the planet.
- 1:26:10SPEAKER_06: These people just didn't break the law.
- 1:26:12SPEAKER_06: They set it on fire, danced on it, and then asked for a participation trophy.
- 1:26:17SPEAKER_06: So uh let's hand out the awards.
- 1:26:18SPEAKER_06: Tonight, the I survived an overdose and still found a way to fail award.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_06: This one goes to 25-year-old Michael Stiles of New Hampshire.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_06: Now, last week Michael got found unresponsive on Monday night.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_06: He was an overdose.
- 1:26:45SPEAKER_06: Thirty minutes later, Michael's got found uh unresponsive.
- 1:26:54SPEAKER_06: I'm sorry.
- 1:26:55SPEAKER_06: Thirty minutes later, he celebrated not dying by driving his car straight into a parked police prisoner.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_07: That's rough.
- 1:27:06SPEAKER_06: Arrested for DUI and reckless conduct, they released him on personal recognizance.
- 1:27:14SPEAKER_06: But that's not where the story ends.
- 1:27:17SPEAKER_06: No.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_06: Three hours later, policemen found him at the tow yard digging through the same car.
- 1:27:25SPEAKER_06: When they asked him how he got there, he casually said, I drove here in another vehicle.
- 1:27:36SPEAKER_06: Second to you.
- 1:27:38SPEAKER_06: Breach of bail.
- 1:27:40SPEAKER_06: This time the judge locked him up and said he's staying until rehab.
- 1:27:44SPEAKER_06: Most people need a whole weekend to screw up this hard.
- 1:27:47SPEAKER_06: Michael did it before midnight.
- 1:27:49SPEAKER_06: Congratulations.
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_06: Dumbass.
- 1:27:53SPEAKER_06: Award number two the I stole the boxes and left the actual computers award.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_06: Now we don't have a name on this.
- 1:28:02SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's all of us.
- 1:28:04SPEAKER_06: But the criminal mastermind smashed through the window of a tech company, hauled out armfuls of Mac Mini boxes.
- 1:28:13SPEAKER_06: Now a Mac Mini is worth what?
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_06: Like about$1,500.
- 1:28:17SPEAKER_06: You see a bunch of box boxes in the window, you think, whoa, gold mine.
- 1:28:24SPEAKER_06: Every single box was empty.
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_06: The real computers were sitting also right there in plain sight.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_06: But the criminal never grabbed them, just took the boxes.
- 1:28:37SPEAKER_06: Employee went on the news publicly called them really low IQ.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_05: Must be a Trump fan.
- 1:28:46SPEAKER_06: That's what Trump says all the time.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_06: He's really, really, really low IQ.
- 1:28:50SPEAKER_06: Um saying his whole office was laughing about it.
- 1:28:54SPEAKER_06: Wow.
- 1:28:55SPEAKER_06: The company's offering a$1,500 reward.
- 1:28:58SPEAKER_06: The boxes themselves are worth approximately nothing.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_06: It's not not a zip, zilch.
- 1:29:06SPEAKER_06: Well, at least got a fire going.
- 1:29:07SPEAKER_06: The guy risked prison for cardboard.
- 1:29:12SPEAKER_06: Next up, the I Wanted the Poop Truck Award.
- 1:29:17SPEAKER_06: That goes to Jay Barr26 of Southern California.
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_06: Now Jay was supposed to fly to Seattle.
- 1:29:25SPEAKER_06: Instead, he snuck through an airport access door, wandered onto the tarmac, and stole one of those airport tugs.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_06: You know, the ones they pulled the planes with.
- 1:29:37SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
- 1:29:38SPEAKER_06: He then promptly crashed into another vehicle.
- 1:29:42SPEAKER_06: But Jay would not be undeterred.
- 1:29:47SPEAKER_06: Then tried to steal the lavatory service truck.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_06: The truck that uh cleans all the bathrooms on the airplanes.
- 1:29:58SPEAKER_06: You know, the one that drains the airplane toilets, refills them with that blue disinfectant.
- 1:30:04SPEAKER_06: Uh he got caught before he could take the flying porta potty for a spin.
- 1:30:10SPEAKER_06: Vehicle trespassing, theft, vandalism, uh, all of the vehicles on the tarmac.
- 1:30:17SPEAKER_06: He uh is charged with uh of all the vehicles on the target on the tarmac.
- 1:30:25SPEAKER_06: He goes after the one that smells like regret and airplane bathrooms.
- 1:30:28SPEAKER_06: I don't quite get that.
- 1:30:30SPEAKER_06: But uh charges, too.
- 1:30:33SPEAKER_06: Next up, the Professor of P award.
- 1:30:38SPEAKER_06: That is gonna go to Paul Fisher.
- 1:30:39SPEAKER_06: There you see him on the screen.
- 1:30:41SPEAKER_06: 55 of Minnesota.
- 1:30:44SPEAKER_06: Former biology professor at McAllister College, arrested for spilling urine on a student's backpack.
- 1:30:53SPEAKER_06: Uh, not animal urine.
- 1:30:56SPEAKER_06: Uh his urine.
- 1:30:58SPEAKER_06: Yes, he told police he had developed a habit of relieving himself into cups and dumping them into trash cans and lab sinks, and must have accidentally, in quotation marks, spilled some while disposing of it.
- 1:31:14SPEAKER_06: Uh, the cops weren't buying it.
- 1:31:17SPEAKER_06: There were six previous complaints of mysterious peas showing up around the science center in bottles and even inside other professors' decorations.
- 1:31:30SPEAKER_06: He's no longer a professor.
- 1:31:32SPEAKER_06: Looking up to uh looking at uh up to five to ten years, or five to ten grand, sorry, in five years and ten grand in fines.
- 1:31:42SPEAKER_06: Uh if his aim in the classroom was as bad as his aim with a cup, those kids never stood a chance.
- 1:31:54SPEAKER_06: And finally, the bounce house bandit award this week.
- 1:31:59SPEAKER_06: That is gonna go to Shanice Hill 30 of Iowa.
- 1:32:04SPEAKER_06: Uh Shanice charged around$1,350 on stolen credit cards to uh rent bounce houses for Father's Day, 4th of July, kids' parties at the park.
- 1:32:20SPEAKER_06: One of them was even a castle.
- 1:32:24SPEAKER_06: She denied it at first.
- 1:32:26SPEAKER_06: Rental company produced her email and phone number.
- 1:32:29SPEAKER_06: Uh, by the way, also she kept the generator that the rental company provided.
- 1:32:36SPEAKER_06: She's now out on six thousand dollars bond, assuming she doesn't jump bail bail.
- 1:32:43SPEAKER_06: Hi-oh.
- 1:32:45SPEAKER_06: Bouncy house, jump, jump bail.
- 1:32:48SPEAKER_06: Thanks for playing along.
- 1:32:49SPEAKER_06: Appreciate it.
- 1:32:51SPEAKER_06: Uh winner of the uh dumbass of the week award, Michael Stiles, the overdose on Arcan.
- 1:32:57SPEAKER_06: Crash into a cop car, released, drive to the tow yard, in a second car, another DUI, same night.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_06: Dumbass of the week.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_06: Elite level failure right there.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_07: Would you agree?
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_07: That's the rough that's the roughest one.
- 1:33:11SPEAKER_06: That's the Red Foreman Awards.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_06: Listen, try not to make next week's list, okay?
- 1:33:32SPEAKER_06: Can TJ's internet get an award tonight?
- 1:33:34SPEAKER_06: Probably.

- 1:33:46SPEAKER_06: Yeah, there we go.

- 1:34:33SPEAKER_06: I think I'm going with that too.
- 1:34:35SPEAKER_06: I really am.
- 1:34:37SPEAKER_06: I mean, I mean shit.
- 1:34:39SPEAKER_06: Arrested, DUI, then uh, you know, you steal a car and crash into a police car, another DUI, then you show up and rifle through your first car at the tow yard, and you drive there in another car.
- 1:34:58SPEAKER_07: All before midnight.
- 1:35:00SPEAKER_07: Oh, wow.
- 1:35:03SPEAKER_07: I wonder if a sexual contact got higher or lower throughout the twelve four hours.
- 1:35:07SPEAKER_06: I don't know, man.
- 1:35:08SPEAKER_06: I don't know.
- 1:35:09SPEAKER_06: But that's um that's an impressive, impressive string of feats in one night.
