- 0:00Speaker 1: The whole Acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Actually, I was just delighted to hear because it was
- 0:08Speaker 2: a radio and podcast awards last night. Moggie and of
- 0:11Speaker 2: course Old Kesey had a big one and Paks.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Made all of himself. I haven't seen eros. He's having
- 0:20Speaker 3: a day, Old park Son, he is.
- 0:22Speaker 2: He is the man.
- 0:23Speaker 4: We all agree that he is having a day to day.
- 0:26Speaker 4: And not only is he having a shaker, he couldn't
- 0:29Speaker 4: care less about it. I've never seen anything like it.
- 0:32Speaker 2: It's brilliant.
- 0:32Speaker 3: It's very high standards, but they are nowhere to be
- 0:35Speaker 3: seen today.
- 0:37Speaker 2: But Kezy was telling us when he got home, and
- 0:39Speaker 2: I think it was about two thirty three this morning.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Was it.
- 0:45Speaker 2: That has he really pissed his wife off, Mogie because
- 0:48Speaker 2: he was sitting on his couch naked, eating cheese balls.
- 0:51Speaker 3: See, when you tell stories, man, you exaggerate. So and
- 0:54Speaker 3: I told you that in confidence. I was on the
- 0:56Speaker 3: couch eating a bowl of cheese balls and my shirt off.
- 0:58Speaker 3: You told it confidently so that I would very confident
- 1:01Speaker 3: in the telling of it, so that I wouldn't get
- 1:03Speaker 3: cheeseball dust on my white dress, Sir, you got them
- 1:05Speaker 3: on your bullas insteads I had pants on. My wife
- 1:08Speaker 3: came out and basically said, when you're coming to bed. No,
- 1:10Speaker 3: she said you're coming to bed. Yes, she said, you're
- 1:13Speaker 3: coming to bed and bring them cheeseballs.
- 1:14Speaker 1: With the Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on
- 1:20Speaker 1: Radio Hurdarchy, we had a.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Fascinating chat on the Big Show Outro today, which is
- 1:24Speaker 2: a bonus podcast that we do.
- 1:26Speaker 3: It's like a warm up to the show.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And I was triggered by something that we were talking
- 1:30Speaker 2: about and I'd like to bring it back because it
- 1:32Speaker 2: was a big part of my upbringing and I know,
- 1:35Speaker 2: Mogi for you too, it was a big part of
- 1:39Speaker 2: your upbringing in Kezy not so much, interestingly, Yeah, not
- 1:43Speaker 2: so much. It wasn't something that you you and all
- 1:45Speaker 2: your mates indulged in. No, I didn't indulge in it.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I sort of had like a hybrid version of it,
- 1:51Speaker 3: toned back version of it that was very rarely brought out.
- 1:56Speaker 3: I still didn't have a lot to do with that either.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah, the idea that I'd like to put out there
- 2:03Speaker 2: to our listeners, and I hope you guys, back me
- 2:05Speaker 2: up on this is to bring back the brown eye.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Right, and so just for those listening who have no
- 2:11Speaker 3: idea what a brown eye is, what is it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: It's when someone drops their tweeds and clasps both buttocks
- 2:21Speaker 2: in their hands and shows the world their interior.
- 2:26Speaker 4: So it sort of bends over at the waist, reaches
- 2:28Speaker 4: back by top pools east and west, opens the curtains there.
- 2:34Speaker 3: The curtains and you know you want this to come back.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Well, I it was just such a part of my upbringing,
- 2:41Speaker 2: you know what I mean at school, I mean, and
- 2:44Speaker 2: we did it so often. It was just there was
- 2:46Speaker 2: nothing gross about it. It was just a fun thing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It was sort of like a hello mates. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 2: yeah totally because it's like a key we tradition very much,
- 2:56Speaker 2: Si and Chips Pavlova brown eye.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Totally because when I was growing up, it was the
- 3:03Speaker 3: sort of thing you did to poke fun at someone, like, oh,
- 3:07Speaker 3: let's go past. And when I was growing up, it
- 3:09Speaker 3: was a moon. You make them look at my moon.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the sort of thing that sticks with them, man.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I mean moon. So moon is where you do the
- 3:17Speaker 3: same thing but you don't necessarily open the curtains. You
- 3:20Speaker 3: keep keep the curtains closed. You just show them the
- 3:24Speaker 3: botox is the star of the show. Yes, that's right,
- 3:26Speaker 3: and it's quite often like to enhance the moon, you
- 3:28Speaker 3: might push it up against the glass of the prest
- 3:30Speaker 3: damn pream. Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Back in our day, like the brown eye, because you
- 3:34Speaker 2: sort of think it's pretty gross, but it was actually
- 3:37Speaker 2: a term of affection.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Right, so you wouldn't do it a someone to sort
- 3:41Speaker 3: of tease them all like yeah, it was like get
- 3:45Speaker 3: a mate, yeah, brown eye, Yes exactly. I mean some
- 3:48Speaker 3: of them were travesties.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Some of them, I mean could be people who weren't
- 3:53Speaker 4: taking themselves taking care of themselves back there regularly now,
- 3:56Speaker 4: but they went to know that because it's it's sort
- 3:58Speaker 4: of like if you're boarding, you don't sort of know
- 4:00Speaker 4: it until you see a photograph, yes, or someone points
- 4:02Speaker 4: it out to you, take your side and has a
- 4:04Speaker 4: whisper to you mate, No good.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah, right, So how do you propose that the audience
- 4:09Speaker 3: brings back the brown eye? Do you want it? For example,
- 4:12Speaker 3: where if you see one of us in public, well
- 4:14Speaker 3: maybe just start with you guys, do a brown eye?
- 4:17Speaker 6: No?
- 4:18Speaker 4: No, First of all, you've got to get the vernacular right.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Your pull a brown eye. You don't do a brown eye.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Brown eye. I don't want anyone doing a brown eye
- 4:27Speaker 3: on me. Keasy, right, So you want someone pulling a
- 4:29Speaker 3: brown eye on you? Pull a brown eye? Ax, yes,
- 4:33Speaker 3: and pull a brown eye at you? Yeah? Yeah, you go,
- 4:36Speaker 3: because I thought it was do a brown eye on you. No, no,
- 4:38Speaker 3: pull a brown eye.
- 4:40Speaker 4: And that's a good thing about this is I think
- 4:42Speaker 4: it's going to catch on really fast because it's simply
- 4:44Speaker 4: something that's been forgotten, lost to the anmals of time.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Correct.
- 4:47Speaker 4: I don't know if it was PC gone mad, but
- 4:50Speaker 4: something that's just fallen by the wayside somehow. Do you
- 4:52Speaker 4: think if we bring it back, then you know, everything
- 4:55Speaker 4: will follow. There'll be television shows, will be merchandised a lot,
- 4:58Speaker 4: and it's just.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Going to take one person to pull back the curtains, yes,
- 5:02Speaker 2: and then everyone will be into it again.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Do you think it is PC gone mad? Or is
- 5:07Speaker 3: it just people don't want to see your bum hoole Oh?
- 5:09Speaker 4: I mean there's absolutely there's a case of that. I
- 5:12Speaker 4: mean a lot of people don't like looking at other
- 5:14Speaker 4: people's bung holes. That's just how it is, but some
- 5:17Speaker 4: people do and sometimes what you're going to have is
- 5:21Speaker 4: a bit of friendly fire. I guess yes, But what
- 5:24Speaker 4: do you do? Do you protect the few and deprive
- 5:26Speaker 4: the majority? Keysy right, yeah? Sometimes me thinks not yeah,
- 5:31Speaker 4: yeah right. So how are we going to start this?
- 5:33Speaker 4: I think probably paula brown Eye out there somewhere and
- 5:38Speaker 4: just take a pht of it and send it to
- 5:40Speaker 4: Kesy Chris Key no Beause on Instagram.
- 5:44Speaker 3: It's a waste type Paul brown Eye video it and
- 5:48Speaker 3: then send it to mister Mike Minogua on Instagram and
- 5:51Speaker 3: just tag them in it.
- 5:52Speaker 4: I think if we send it to a Hodaggy Big Show,
- 5:53Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, send it to how Hodaki Big Show and
- 5:57Speaker 4: Pucks can go through them.
- 5:58Speaker 3: And sort them out and you can just thought about
- 6:01Speaker 3: and Jason peckerwinner the hold.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Accue Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune in
- 6:07Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio Holdup.
- 6:09Speaker 6: It was.
- 6:09Speaker 3: One thing I've noticed is we've spent the first hour
- 6:11Speaker 3: of the show gutsaking about being hungover from Magic Round responsibly.
- 6:16Speaker 3: And by the way, when Mogi's hungover, he makes lots
- 6:18Speaker 3: of random noises. We haven't actually talked about what you
- 6:21Speaker 3: did at Magic Round.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Yes, what you did, like, come on, you're an animal man.
- 6:25Speaker 4: We'll start worth going to the airport, should we start them?
- 6:28Speaker 4: We went to the airport and that was a really
- 6:30Speaker 4: great start, and we found a little bar that he
- 6:33Speaker 4: got through really quickly for it. Course, you and I
- 6:35Speaker 4: j straight away got pulled aside because what do we do.
- 6:37Speaker 4: We both had cigarette lighters. I got pulled over for
- 6:41Speaker 4: having a cigarette and you know, a twenty minute wait
- 6:43Speaker 4: once they you know, divert your bag. So she pulled
- 6:48Speaker 4: me up. Finally we set there for twenty minutes waiting
- 6:51Speaker 4: for that. Then had the chat and she said, oh,
- 6:53Speaker 4: the problem is you've got a cigarette lighter in your
- 6:56Speaker 4: jacket pocket, right, and it's sitting inside a tray with
- 6:58Speaker 4: my shoes and my belt. And I said, so I
- 7:01Speaker 4: would have been fine if I took it out of
- 7:03Speaker 4: my jacket pocket and just put it in the tray. Yes, fine,
- 7:06Speaker 4: she said, yes, I said, but not in my jacket
- 7:08Speaker 4: pocket and in the tray. She said, that's right. I said,
- 7:10Speaker 4: what course, it makes no sense at all, but great
- 7:12Speaker 4: start to the weekend.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Cheers. Then we went and had a few beers, didn't
- 7:16Speaker 3: we feels well, what happened was we parked up at
- 7:18Speaker 3: a bar. We took turns buying jugs responsibly, and it
- 7:21Speaker 3: was I bought some chips for the fowlers, I better
- 7:23Speaker 3: go buy a jug. And I was like, mog, you
- 7:25Speaker 3: can we have time for one more jug? And You're like, yeah, man, absolutely,
- 7:27Speaker 3: And I was walking alongside you. As I was going
- 7:29Speaker 3: out to go to the toilet, you stopped and bought
- 7:31Speaker 3: the jug. I kept on walking. I thought, you know,
- 7:33Speaker 3: it was probably time I check and see what time
- 7:35Speaker 3: that's got damn planes to party and I have a
- 7:37Speaker 3: look look at our flight number. It says boarding now sow.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'd better go and tell Kezy about that. I'll just
- 7:42Speaker 3: go for my wares first. And by the time I
- 7:44Speaker 3: got back, old Kezy is turning up with a jug.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's like, Kezy, we bought him, man. So that one
- 7:49Speaker 3: of the videos on the Instagram, on our one, what
- 7:51Speaker 3: you can see is me showing up with a full
- 7:52Speaker 3: jug and everybody, oh, we're bought in Keysy. It's like,
- 7:54Speaker 3: what any for the joke? Sixty bucks sixty back, what's
- 7:58Speaker 3: that about?
- 7:59Speaker 2: But you know we doubt with it.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Oh no, we handled it. The flight we haven't even
- 8:04Speaker 3: left New Zealand yet this year.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I was trying to sort of move
- 8:09Speaker 2: through it. Here about the flight, and I don't know
- 8:12Speaker 2: whether this is true or not, was one of those
- 8:14Speaker 2: flights where you know, you're sort of watching a movie
- 8:16Speaker 2: and you see how much time to go, and it's like, yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 2: three twenty seven till you arrive at your destination three
- 8:22Speaker 2: hours twenty seven minutes, and you go, I can, and
- 8:24Speaker 2: then time passes and stuff, and then you go back
- 8:26Speaker 2: and check the time again and it's like three twenty
- 8:28Speaker 2: four and it's like, hang on, I'm sure it's been
- 8:30Speaker 2: longer than I felt like they kept putting the time
- 8:33Speaker 2: back all the time, but that might have been my imagination.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think they know how to put the
- 8:39Speaker 4: time back, so I'm guessing it was your imagination.
- 8:41Speaker 3: But I do take on board that it was a
- 8:43Speaker 3: bloody slow fly.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Yeah, very slow. There was a wounder, and of course
- 8:46Speaker 4: one of the promises I made was that I was
- 8:47Speaker 4: going to be in bed before midnight. Now we got
- 8:50Speaker 4: over there, we went to the hotel, we got to
- 8:52Speaker 4: the game, which from memory, I can't remember. It was
- 8:56Speaker 4: Roosters Dolphins Dolph Dolphins here. So we got there and
- 8:59Speaker 4: I was watching that we the Winner's lovely guys. We
- 9:01Speaker 4: saw Pantsman and Joel Harrison there, great heaving a chat
- 9:03Speaker 4: with them.
- 9:04Speaker 3: That was all good, but it was one of.
- 9:05Speaker 4: The most turja games of rugby league I've ever seen.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I stay for twenty minutes and I was trying to
- 9:08Speaker 4: get through an Australian beer and it was nearly I
- 9:11Speaker 4: was on the verge of throwing up. And keep in
- 9:13Speaker 4: mind I wasn't drunk at all, but this beer was
- 9:16Speaker 4: so disgusting and I was chewing my way through. I
- 9:18Speaker 4: said I can't do it. So I did an and
- 9:21Speaker 4: Irish goodbye, and I just bailed on the way. I
- 9:24Speaker 4: got recognized by an Australian policeman, which was a nice touch.
- 9:26Speaker 4: He got a selfie. Then I got outside, tried to
- 9:28Speaker 4: stop myself from throwing up all the way to the U,
- 9:31Speaker 4: but got back to the hotel. I thought I'd go
- 9:33Speaker 4: outside for one dart and then I'm going to bed.
- 9:35Speaker 4: That was at ten thirty. The elevated doors open. Who
- 9:38Speaker 4: should come in but pugsn and Hoydy j. Next thing
- 9:41Speaker 4: I know, at three thirty in the morning.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Meanwhile, me and and I did at the Old Fashion.
- 9:45Speaker 3: We were out for most of the night. We got
- 9:48Speaker 3: into the hotel at two thirty, which was four thirty
- 9:51Speaker 3: New Zealand time. Really yeah, and we're like, man, I
- 9:53Speaker 3: think we've done this well. Two thirty is pretty good. Yeah,
- 9:55Speaker 3: and we won't be too will be worse than Mike
- 9:57Speaker 3: and Jason, Pugs and that, but we won't be too bad. Yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 3: Only to find out that you guys went longer and
- 10:02Speaker 3: harder than we did. And then Saturday was an absolute struggle.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Met up at lunchtime with the boys trip group. There's
- 10:08Speaker 3: about one hundred Wars fans and this one wet breakfast
- 10:11Speaker 3: first keep we had breakfast breakfast noocky, but I feel
- 10:14Speaker 3: like we need to skip through though.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Met up spent the entire afternoon with their first few
- 10:18Speaker 3: hours there, then went to Caston Street for about four
- 10:21Speaker 3: or five hours. Houghty J was hating his life. Finally
- 10:24Speaker 3: got to the Wars game started Ripper last half an
- 10:26Speaker 3: hour was extremely tough to watch, and then we stayed
- 10:30Speaker 3: out until after midnight at Me and and I, you
- 10:32Speaker 3: guys yeagged it and.
- 10:34Speaker 4: By about ten thirty, I think in yeah, I mean
- 10:37Speaker 4: it was the hell of a weekend. And can I
- 10:39Speaker 4: just say to all of the all the people we met,
- 10:41Speaker 4: all of the fans of the big show that came
- 10:43Speaker 4: up and had a and your backbones won and all unbelievable.
- 10:46Speaker 4: There was a huge amount of people that are in
- 10:48Speaker 4: behind the show over there, and one was a good bastard. Yeah,
- 10:52Speaker 4: it's always good to see as. Don't be sure I
- 10:54Speaker 4: always come up and have a chat, just not to Jason.
- 10:56Speaker 2: You're just not preferably not me.
- 10:58Speaker 3: But that's all. Gee. There you go a bit of
- 11:00Speaker 3: a recap of how the weekn wink.
- 11:01Speaker 4: And can I just say if you're thinking about going,
- 11:03Speaker 4: if you're contemplating, if you hear these stories ago, it's
- 11:06Speaker 4: probably never like that.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It is always like that.
- 11:08Speaker 4: It is an unbelievable event. Book for next year. Now
- 11:12Speaker 4: it is out The Gate Boys' Trip, look after You.
- 11:14Speaker 4: It is an it's a once in a lifetime If
- 11:16Speaker 4: you can only do it once, do it once. But
- 11:17Speaker 4: it's not going to completely break the bank if you
- 11:19Speaker 4: start saving there.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Also, if you can't afford to go to every single game,
- 11:23Speaker 3: blah blah blah, just book that. Whatever day the wars
- 11:25Speaker 3: are playing, by a ticket for that's been the other
- 11:26Speaker 3: two days at Catston Street getting amongst chuck your jersey
- 11:29Speaker 3: on Bloody Ripper.
- 11:31Speaker 1: The hurt Key Big Show weekdays from four on Radio
- 11:34Speaker 1: hod Ike'll tell you what.
- 11:35Speaker 3: When it comes.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I love being in my car going on a journey
- 11:39Speaker 2: with the old Jimmy turned up.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Full vole Wow.
- 11:42Speaker 2: And we had this fascinating conversation actually before the show,
- 11:45Speaker 2: because old pug Soun is going on a road trip tomorrow,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I believe to Wellington there, pug Son.
- 11:50Speaker 6: I am, I am, I am taking a day of leave,
- 11:52Speaker 6: Big Dilly. You'll be filling in in studio, be there.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Pretty half assed if you ask me.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I you've only been back a week and now I'm
- 11:57Speaker 2: going to fall us at all. Right, but you have
- 12:00Speaker 2: been given the responsibility of choosing the music for the
- 12:03Speaker 2: road trip, and you've taken it very, very seriously.
- 12:07Speaker 5: I was.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Now I'm tacking onto somebody else's road trip down to
- 12:11Speaker 6: Wellington where I'm from.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Whose road trip is it?
- 12:14Speaker 6: Anonymous? And anonymous as best friend?
- 12:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, your partner meeting the appearance. I mean, seriously, you
- 12:30Speaker 2: know ship's going well when you when she's like, come
- 12:32Speaker 2: and meet the folks.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Yeah, well we sort of came back after that heror
- 12:34Speaker 6: of a fight that we had late last year. I
- 12:37Speaker 6: managed to work it out. There's a little bit of
- 12:39Speaker 6: resent member, that's okay, we'll forging me in tears.
- 12:43Speaker 3: But anyway, anywhere road trip.
- 12:44Speaker 6: So they proposed to me, Chris, Yeah, yeah, anyway, if
- 12:55Speaker 6: I can just tell my story, particular the story tell
- 12:57Speaker 6: you guys. I was presented with a channel to provide
- 13:00Speaker 6: three songs that I think were the best possible choices
- 13:04Speaker 6: for this road trip that we're taking. And as I
- 13:07Speaker 6: play them in the car, or before I play them
- 13:09Speaker 6: in the car, I will have to explain why I
- 13:11Speaker 6: chose them in a sort of verbal essay format.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Can I just say before we do this? So he's
- 13:15Speaker 3: got the three songs here, Yeah, that's something I'd probably
- 13:18Speaker 3: quite enjoy doing. Yeah, I've had a ball with it
- 13:21Speaker 3: because I literally spent all of last night until about
- 13:24Speaker 3: midnight researching the songs that I have elected for this challenge.
- 13:28Speaker 3: And you've got an audience of too, right, So it's
- 13:29Speaker 3: not like it's going out to everyone. It's just two
- 13:31Speaker 3: people and you get to sit them down and say, look,
- 13:33Speaker 3: the reason I've chosen this listen out for this and
- 13:35Speaker 3: you know, blah blah blah blah, and then you get
- 13:36Speaker 3: to play them. So you've got three here.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It sounds pretty anal to me. Actually, are you guys
- 13:40Speaker 2: getting into it and stuff? It's like, these are the
- 13:43Speaker 2: tunes plan just enjoy. You don't like it, there's the
- 13:47Speaker 2: door and then.
- 13:50Speaker 3: You even play some downbut stuff. So we've got the
- 13:52Speaker 3: three tunes here, pugs. Yeah, we'll start with this one here,
- 13:57Speaker 3: which just so happens to be my goat, my greatest
- 13:59Speaker 3: of all.
- 14:00Speaker 6: One of mine as well.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it's wow, people know what it is? Yeah, yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 3: just for one day? David Bowie Heroes. Yeah, so just
- 14:11Speaker 3: a little timer why that song.
- 14:15Speaker 6: Literally have spent hours running about this and now that
- 14:17Speaker 6: I'm on here, okay, look, it's it's about the It's
- 14:21Speaker 6: about being us for one day as the biggest part
- 14:23Speaker 6: of that. That song has a lot of themes of
- 14:25Speaker 6: adversity and oppression but still being together in the moment
- 14:28Speaker 6: despite it all.
- 14:29Speaker 3: That's good man.
- 14:30Speaker 6: You want to think, despite all the troubles that we
- 14:32Speaker 6: that we feel in our lives, while we're.
- 14:33Speaker 3: In that car, man, there's nothing else but us, you
- 14:36Speaker 3: know what I'm saying what do you how do you
- 14:38Speaker 3: feel about that?
- 14:38Speaker 2: Jose Yeah, Jays, I just think you're overthinking it a bit, man,
- 14:42Speaker 2: and they just just relax.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Can I just say this song that you chose here, yeah,
- 14:47Speaker 3: really weird ironic, well not ironic, but a weird coincidence
- 14:50Speaker 3: that as I pulled into my car park today, I
- 14:52Speaker 3: was listening to this very song. Oh yeah, Tears for Fears.
- 14:55Speaker 6: Beautiful song to drive to.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Do you like that?
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:59Speaker 2: You love it?
- 15:00Speaker 6: Jess, yummy boys, it's Tears for Fears, very yummy boys.
- 15:04Speaker 6: Now that one was less of a deep sort of
- 15:06Speaker 6: analytical meaning, but more about how it actually just sounds.
- 15:09Speaker 6: You know, the time signatures in twelve eight and it
- 15:12Speaker 6: just has this perpetual motion. This was like you're on
- 15:15Speaker 6: the road, you know what I'm saying.
- 15:16Speaker 3: See that's music. That's music appreciation right there, Jason, I'm
- 15:19Speaker 3: learning a lot. I'm learning.
- 15:21Speaker 6: I don't know what the hell of time signature is,
- 15:22Speaker 6: but it sounded smart when I said it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: You're not gonna sort of be chatting about this sort
- 15:26Speaker 2: of stuff while it's playing, are you.
- 15:27Speaker 6: I mean, I think it's more of an introduction.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Okay, Hey, before we played this song, it's a bit
- 15:32Speaker 2: of a twelve ath thoos here and it's.
- 15:34Speaker 3: A beautiful day in the sales. You could pause it
- 15:36Speaker 3: as well, and this Nicks, but you're about to hear
- 15:38Speaker 3: all right. So your third choice is the one that
- 15:39Speaker 3: I don't fully agree with, although it is a banger.
- 15:42Speaker 7: Yeah go, that's what I'm talking about. That one's largely
- 15:52Speaker 7: for the sing along factor.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Plus you've got two females in the car. My wife
- 15:57Speaker 3: loves Alanis Morrisset absolutely audience man, that's right. What does
- 16:02Speaker 3: New Zealand make of Pugsan's three road trip tunes?
- 16:05Speaker 6: I can imagine I'm gonna get absolutely blitzed.
- 16:08Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 16:09Speaker 2: But also what a what a New Zealand's road.
- 16:11Speaker 6: You know, That's what I want to know. I'm also
- 16:13Speaker 6: open to other suggestions.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Three four eight three text it through. Get yourself in
- 16:16Speaker 3: the drawer for a fifty a night and day voucher?
- 16:19Speaker 3: What about this for a road trip? Ozzie Osborne a
- 16:21Speaker 3: bit of Ossie, Yeah man, I like you know that.
- 16:25Speaker 3: The instruments. I just hate it when he starts singing.
- 16:28Speaker 3: It's great analysis from you Jazz.
- 16:31Speaker 1: The Whold King Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 16:34Speaker 1: tune in week days.
- 16:35Speaker 3: At four on Radio hod I King.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Something outrageous happened to me last night, Fellas, and I
- 16:42Speaker 2: want to talk to you about it.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Okay, I was sitting on the couch and my wife.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Was sitting on the seat next to me, you know,
- 16:49Speaker 2: a little way away from me, and I may or
- 16:52Speaker 2: may not have had just a quiet little puff on
- 16:55Speaker 2: the old vape there inside on the couch, inside, on
- 16:59Speaker 2: the couch, and then I turned my head away from
- 17:03Speaker 2: where she was and blew clouds of smoke into the
- 17:08Speaker 2: far distance of very far away from my wife, I
- 17:12Speaker 2: might add, And she went, and I went, what it's vapor,
- 17:19Speaker 2: for God's sake. And then and then she said to me,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and this is not by any means medically proven or not,
- 17:31Speaker 2: but she does work in a medical center. She said,
- 17:33Speaker 2: you know a lot of doctors now are saying that
- 17:36Speaker 2: if you were addicted to vaping, you're better off going
- 17:40Speaker 2: back to cigarette, to cigarettes. And I was like, why
- 17:45Speaker 2: did you tell me that?
- 17:47Speaker 3: Because you're vaping on the couch inside. Yeah, pretty much,
- 17:49Speaker 3: I think you.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Now, I want to reiterate again, this is not verified
- 17:54Speaker 2: medical information.
- 17:56Speaker 4: Well, I can tell you that you were talking to
- 17:58Speaker 4: us about this in the chat, and I immediate looked
- 18:00Speaker 4: at that because it's been my vibe when I used
- 18:02Speaker 4: to vape, it felt so much more unhealthy. And I
- 18:06Speaker 4: don't know if it was because I was doing.
- 18:07Speaker 3: It twenty four to seven. Yeah, that's the thing, You're.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Gonna do it absolutely anywhere, or what the story was,
- 18:13Speaker 4: but that was how I felt. So I looked it
- 18:14Speaker 4: up and I could find absolutely nothing to back up
- 18:18Speaker 4: what she was saying. However, my own personal experience, it's
- 18:23Speaker 4: a case. That's why I've personally gone back to the
- 18:24Speaker 4: dats or I could another option, keasy as sure, I could.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Give up completely. Hey me, I didn't say anything. Man,
- 18:30Speaker 3: you just do what you need to do.
- 18:31Speaker 4: But I think what your wife's doing there is if
- 18:33Speaker 4: you get back on the dart, then she gets more
- 18:36Speaker 4: time inside the house without you because you're always outside
- 18:38Speaker 4: smoking cigarettes. So essentially you move out. She only sees
- 18:42Speaker 4: you for certain meals, bed time.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's accurate, but I and she is not.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Can I just reiterate the sort of person to just
- 18:50Speaker 2: try out things willy nilly like that? And I was
- 18:54Speaker 2: actually genuinely taken aback by her reaction to me having
- 18:59Speaker 2: a quick, quiet, little vape in the corner there, blowing a.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Fast in the lounge. It was just because it's an addict.
- 19:07Speaker 2: And this is the thing about vaping, and this is
- 19:09Speaker 2: one hundred percent right, is because it's so easy that
- 19:12Speaker 2: people just need to just sit there sucking on the
- 19:14Speaker 2: bust all day. Yeah, you know, is there a post
- 19:18Speaker 2: with a ciggi? You go outside when you're having a
- 19:21Speaker 2: coffee and I'll have a ciggie.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Because there's some involved, you have to do some stuff, correct, Yeah, okay,
- 19:25Speaker 3: So here's some questions. Have you ever vaped in bed? Yes?
- 19:31Speaker 4: But similarly when it was more socially acceptable. Have you
- 19:34Speaker 4: ever smoked cigarettes in bed?
- 19:35Speaker 2: Oh?
- 19:36Speaker 3: Yeah, there's something kind of hard about something there is. Yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Can I just say both options are terrible? Continue with
- 19:43Speaker 2: your questions please?
- 19:44Speaker 3: Have you ever vaped whilst on the toilet?
- 19:47Speaker 6: No?
- 19:48Speaker 3: Come on, man, really?
- 19:49Speaker 5: Yes?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I haven't never vaped. I don't know what
- 19:54Speaker 3: the hell's true? Now, Yeah, no, I've never vaped on
- 19:57Speaker 3: the toilet. Right. Have you ever vaped in the shower?
- 20:00Speaker 5: No?
- 20:01Speaker 3: Okay, but I do.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Faith continuously in the house. I'll just slink off down
- 20:06Speaker 2: the corridor and suck hard and then blow it down
- 20:09Speaker 2: there and then come back and all go into the
- 20:11Speaker 2: sun room and.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so what are you gonna do? Oh no, man,
- 20:20Speaker 3: it's got you they isn't it. It's got me now.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I told you. Now, I'm thinking of bloody Moogi and
- 20:26Speaker 2: Fiji having a few dats.
- 20:28Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm doomed. Man. No, just have some whelpower, Jason.
- 20:32Speaker 3: I believe in you. Man, You've got some. Yeah. I'll
- 20:34Speaker 3: tell you what. I won't fape or smoke. If you
- 20:37Speaker 3: have no busies, you might want to buy a couple
- 20:42Speaker 3: of cardons. Mate, That is a terrible bit. Jays. Absolutely
- 20:46Speaker 3: not the.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Hd Ikey Big Show week days from four on Radio hodike.
- 20:51Speaker 3: It sounds free lions camera. Actually, no, it's time for
- 20:58Speaker 3: the Big Show. B Yeah, it's a hell of a
- 21:01Speaker 3: segment this one.
- 21:02Speaker 4: This is where we attempt to give Kezy a bit
- 21:04Speaker 4: of acting experience since you can't land a job. I
- 21:07Speaker 4: had the odd audition having your mate turned a few
- 21:10Speaker 4: down because you didn't like the sexual content. But yeah,
- 21:13Speaker 4: we sort of run an improvisational scene that's been born
- 21:18Speaker 4: out of some of the content on today's show. Today
- 21:20Speaker 4: we're going to go with a change in the tire scenario.
- 21:23Speaker 4: In this particular scenario, here, Keezy, you've got a flatty. Okay,
- 21:27Speaker 4: so I've pulled over. You've pulled over on the side
- 21:29Speaker 4: of the road safely. Okay, you're sort of in the
- 21:31Speaker 4: middle of nowhere a little bit right, Okay. They call
- 21:34Speaker 4: them the wops.
- 21:36Speaker 3: I've heard that.
- 21:37Speaker 4: And then old Hoidy j are one of the local farmers.
- 21:40Speaker 4: He turns up in his high lux ute. He's got
- 21:43Speaker 4: a couple of bark and bastard dogs on the back there.
- 21:45Speaker 4: They might be quiet, though you might not be able
- 21:47Speaker 4: to hear them anyway. He's going to give you a hand.
- 21:50Speaker 4: All right, you're ready, Jason, Yeah?
- 21:52Speaker 3: Man? And action does that sound like a highway? Yeah?
- 21:59Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 21:59Speaker 3: Okay, my gosh, what.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Good good goog.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Shop?
- 22:09Speaker 6: What the hell is that ship?
- 22:12Speaker 3: Shaplady? Shot that? Get I sir?
- 22:16Speaker 2: You're right? You get a man here?
- 22:18Speaker 3: You going? You? I couldn't trouble You're not good to
- 22:21Speaker 3: be honest, man, I've just got a flattery, but it's
- 22:23Speaker 3: all good. I know how to change it. So all
- 22:25Speaker 3: good here man. You from the city, No, I am
- 22:28Speaker 3: from the city here, but I know how to change
- 22:30Speaker 3: your tire, so it's all good. Man.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Yeah, well wait you go mate, if you need a handle,
- 22:35Speaker 2: I'm happy to chip.
- 22:35Speaker 3: In there you need no, it's all good man, you
- 22:37Speaker 3: just keep on going. I'm haavy to chip in there.
- 22:40Speaker 2: You need jack, you.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Make sure that shot shaploody maj manbo okay, all right, Well,
- 22:50Speaker 3: if you're gonna insist on just sort of being there, right,
- 22:53Speaker 3: I gonna get the old tire out here it is
- 22:56Speaker 3: and the old wheel. Well, you're just easy on there.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Make you don't want to get a bit of dude
- 23:00Speaker 2: on your beautiful white t shirt.
- 23:02Speaker 5: There.
- 23:02Speaker 2: It's sparking your wife, dat creases and it.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Not this morning. You get up, get out the way, brother,
- 23:13Speaker 3: h put the jack under the cilding and just gonna
- 23:18Speaker 3: wind it up. You're making sure you're putting it on
- 23:23Speaker 3: the right. You're gonna do it in the read. But
- 23:26Speaker 3: what's your name? Man?
- 23:28Speaker 4: Real?
- 23:31Speaker 3: You're right?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Make you making some weird noise?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Street hid man? What's your another? Hey? Mal? How you going?

- 23:53Speaker 4: all right, you get down there on all fools, right, brother, yeah.
- 23:57Speaker 5: You just.
- 23:59Speaker 3: You. I'm fine, thank you and thanks man.
- 24:03Speaker 5: When you're there's a word of advice, mate, she said,
- 24:06Speaker 5: dangerous bloody road, isn't she is?
- 24:08Speaker 3: Out these ways? It's pretty quiet and I had to
- 24:11Speaker 3: think about this road. Dell. Yeah, mate, you can scream
- 24:14Speaker 3: and knowing. So when you're doing your.
- 24:19Speaker 5: When you're doing there on all fours, ye, make sure
- 24:21Speaker 5: you keep looking out of your shoulder there to make
- 24:23Speaker 5: sure there's no traffick counting or anything.
- 24:24Speaker 3: You haven't you got cows surround up or anything. Dell. Yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 3: I know we did that this morning.
- 24:28Speaker 6: Mate.
- 24:29Speaker 5: We're not like you said, he flag. We're up accounting.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Oh yeah, a forensic accounting Fords.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So that's really interesting. Sorry, I was just taking the
- 24:39Speaker 3: tire off.
- 24:39Speaker 5: Now.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I've been loosening the nuts that whole time and now
- 24:42Speaker 3: they're off. Wait, you're telling me, so you're doing it
- 24:47Speaker 3: just in case someone else it was listening. It was
- 24:49Speaker 3: curious where I was at. Sure, yeah, good. You get
- 24:53Speaker 3: a bit of a sweater, mate, take your shirt off.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Take your shirt off, you mate off.
- 24:59Speaker 3: If I was me God, you know what that sound
- 25:01Speaker 3: you guys sound like? Have you ever seen it called
- 25:03Speaker 3: tool chat? We yeah?
- 25:09Speaker 4: One, then you took us right out of the Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 4: I refer into a stale radio segment tool chat.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Sorry, yeah, I just started slipping into those characters.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I was just but I.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Found that actually quite like I felt like I was there. Yeah.
- 25:25Speaker 3: And the introduction of Dell and Mel that threw me
- 25:29Speaker 3: through a loop, But it was like I felt like
- 25:30Speaker 3: I was able to sort of roll with the punches.
- 25:31Speaker 3: You know, you did? You did the whole archy.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Big show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in.
- 25:39Speaker 2: You're just joining us. By the way, Mogi was late
- 25:41Speaker 2: on the show today because he was getting various scans
- 25:44Speaker 2: for his broken ribs and bleeding liather potential wow, potentially,
- 25:50Speaker 2: but definitely from what I've heard, it sounds like he's dying.
- 25:54Speaker 3: It's only a matter of time.
- 25:56Speaker 2: And a lot of people have texted in on three
- 25:59Speaker 2: four eight three giving you their support Mogi and wishing
- 26:03Speaker 2: you all the best mates.
- 26:04Speaker 3: I certainly have Mogi. Listen to this, man ri p
- 26:08Speaker 3: Mogi cheers. Do you know what that means? Rest in peace? Oh?
- 26:11Speaker 3: Is that what it is? So that's nice. That's nice,
- 26:13Speaker 3: thanks mate, that is nice. Who's in the will? Mogi? Mmmm?
- 26:19Speaker 3: Actually the wife's been banging on at me about that.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I got to do that, Megie. Well, I'm assuming it
- 26:23Speaker 3: just goes to her, That's what I mean saying. Where
- 26:25Speaker 3: else is it going to go? Who else gets all
- 26:28Speaker 3: this death?
- 26:28Speaker 2: Well let me just tell you this, fellows don't do
- 26:32Speaker 2: too badly out of what he Jay's will really Yeah, yeah, man,
- 26:37Speaker 2: Mogi has I'm giving you my dillies.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Thanks, man MOGGI has a stubbed toe softy well, yeah,
- 26:47Speaker 3: I think very painful. Yeah, I was part of it.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Didn't you lift the nail up a little bit on
- 26:51Speaker 3: your time? Just that that red little bit there showed me. Yeah,
- 26:57Speaker 3: definitely dying. Where can I send my CV? Oh? Your
- 27:00Speaker 3: curriculum vito?
- 27:02Speaker 2: That is what that is?
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yeah, ah right, curriculum vita. They're actually they're asking for
- 27:07Speaker 3: a reference from you now before you go as well.
- 27:09Speaker 3: A reference, yeah, because I think you used to have
- 27:10Speaker 3: worked with them. Got a name on three four? No?
- 27:13Speaker 2: No name?
- 27:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that sounds about it right.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Can I just say though, that one of the fatal
- 27:18Speaker 2: moves you made at the early hours of the morning
- 27:20Speaker 2: when you were suffering, your pain was going on the
- 27:24Speaker 2: interweb and searching for stuff.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Who doesn't do that? And before I knew and I
- 27:30Speaker 4: knew what I was going to get back, it's always.
- 27:32Speaker 3: You're going to die. Yeah, yeah, what about this one?
- 27:37Speaker 3: Rip Mogie? Can I grab your wife's number? Sorry? What?
- 27:41Speaker 3: That's good stuff? You know, that's sympathy right there. That's
- 27:43Speaker 3: good for the listeners. I want you to know, Magie,
- 27:46Speaker 3: my body's still warm.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I want I want you to know that. Keysy and
- 27:51Speaker 2: I will look after you know, everyone in your in
- 27:55Speaker 2: your group there will take over the best oh family,
- 27:58Speaker 2: I'll bring your agency into my because there's a few
- 28:03Speaker 2: changes I want to make there anyway, so that'll be
- 28:06Speaker 2: quite good.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You got a bit of dead wood, Yeah, cut a
- 28:08Speaker 3: bit of dead wood.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I'm going to change the podcast set up to it's
- 28:11Speaker 2: going to be top calling.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I'm actually stugging some jobs now. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 1: The whole actually big show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Hold Itic. We've got breaking news. This is breaking news.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Fellas year fourteen rowers having banned from Marty Regatta. You
- 28:35Speaker 3: know the Mardy Cup, famous rowing regatta here for high
- 28:39Speaker 3: schoolers in New Zealand. Yes, high school famously finishes at
- 28:43Speaker 3: year thirteen.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to say, because even to this day, Mogi,
- 28:47Speaker 2: I get confused with the numbers when my daughters.
- 28:49Speaker 3: When my daughters were at school, it was like what
- 28:51Speaker 3: year is she? And I'm like, I no, Standard three.
- 28:54Speaker 3: You know what I mean, She's dead.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Ah.
- 28:58Speaker 3: So a small number of school rus were allowing students
- 29:01Speaker 3: to return to row in the national championships after completing
- 29:03Speaker 3: their final year off high school, basically coming back being
- 29:07Speaker 3: year fourteen, another year older, one year extra experience, rowing
- 29:10Speaker 3: stronger in order to win championships.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Can you tell me why we're calling them year fourteen
- 29:16Speaker 4: if there is no year fourteen? Aren't they just former
- 29:19Speaker 4: students or another word adult?
- 29:22Speaker 3: They are adults. They are former students. And maybe it's
- 29:25Speaker 3: like you can come back and do you rainish? Do
- 29:27Speaker 3: you race other year fourteeners? So it's only certain schools
- 29:31Speaker 3: were racing year thirteen and below kids, and then certain
- 29:36Speaker 3: schools were like weaving in year fourteen. I don't know
- 29:41Speaker 3: how they justified it. I don't know why they were
- 29:43Speaker 3: like hey, if they were like, hey, you should fail
- 29:44Speaker 3: into the A level three then back.
- 29:46Speaker 4: We had guys that would do that with rugby when
- 29:49Speaker 4: I was growing up at high school. So they'd fail
- 29:52Speaker 4: seventh form or one of the years and they'd just
- 29:54Speaker 4: come back and essentially just come back to play rugby.
- 29:57Speaker 3: And the teachers were like, with the boys and with
- 29:59Speaker 3: the teachers, you should definitely keep doing that so we
- 30:01Speaker 3: get wins or yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 4: It was well everybody knew what was going on. Yeah right, yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 4: and this is what was by no means an elite
- 30:07Speaker 4: school for rugby. But it's just rather than going the
- 30:10Speaker 4: doll you come back to school and play rugby.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah. And the thing is there's a massive
- 30:14Speaker 3: difference between say an eighteen year old and a seventeen
- 30:17Speaker 3: year old or a nineteen year old and eighteen. You know,
- 30:19Speaker 3: that's right, it's a huge difference, Fellas.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Do you think so, Jason, Well, I was just trying
- 30:26Speaker 2: to think of the difference between me at seventeen and
- 30:28Speaker 2: then nineteen. I wouldn't say vastly different, mind you. The
- 30:32Speaker 2: only I mean, the major difference between me then at
- 30:35Speaker 2: seventeen and nineteen was I was unleashed on the booze
- 30:39Speaker 2: and the cities because I wasn't at.
- 30:40Speaker 3: School, so you had actually been a detriment to your rowing.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Still, yeah, I was going to say, so it may
- 30:45Speaker 2: actually be keasy that these people are hitting the hamm
- 30:48Speaker 2: are really hard coming back and being detrimental to their team.
- 30:52Speaker 3: No, what happened was because a few years back, I
- 30:54Speaker 3: think several high profile school actually got championships taken away
- 30:58Speaker 3: from them. Wow, because they had won using several of
- 31:00Speaker 3: these year fourteen students. So they weren't like you, haid j.
- 31:03Speaker 3: They went on the boos and the darts and stuff.
- 31:05Speaker 3: They were in prime physical condition, right, Okay, So it
- 31:08Speaker 3: is quite a contrast trick I like it, trick yea,
- 31:12Speaker 3: and banning it. Banned it, and what's the problem with it?
- 31:18Speaker 3: What's the problem with it? We'll know you. The problem
- 31:20Speaker 3: is you've got adults going up against one to hang on.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Yell woke, and then we have to get And I
- 31:29Speaker 4: bet it was the teams that were losing, the losers
- 31:32Speaker 4: they had a problem with.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It because they were losing to a full grown adult.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah sucky bubbers, Yeah, yum cheez. Come.
- 31:39Speaker 4: I mean, seriously, this is what's problem with New Zealand.
- 31:41Speaker 4: This is why we've got record numbers of people leaving
- 31:44Speaker 4: this country totally is because they're banning year fourteen students
- 31:47Speaker 4: from rowing in the Mardy cap.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it gets deep inside the goat that whole thing.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Wait, so you're for it or against it?
- 31:55Speaker 2: Totally for it?
- 31:56Speaker 4: Man, hadn't that it makes for a better spectator sport
- 31:59Speaker 4: if you've got far to rowers.
- 32:01Speaker 3: But it's just kids throwing, man, You sit down, adults,
- 32:04Speaker 3: what know?
- 32:05Speaker 1: The ones chat the whole actual Big show with Jason,
- 32:09Speaker 1: Mike and Keysy tune in weekdays at four on Radio
- 32:12Speaker 1: Hold AKA.
- 32:13Speaker 2: There was a lot of chitter chat today on on
- 32:16Speaker 2: our WhatsApp chat about not coming in today? How are
- 32:20Speaker 2: we feeling about the fact that.
- 32:21Speaker 3: We're here now? Look, I always wanted to be here.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Sure.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I find that the best part about having a huge
- 32:27Speaker 4: weekend is the inevitability of going to work on Monday.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Sure.
- 32:31Speaker 3: How good? Yeah?
- 32:32Speaker 4: I mean some out there which you know you go away,
- 32:36Speaker 4: you have a huge three days, you fly the flag
- 32:39Speaker 4: for your radio show for Radio Hodaki. You know some
- 32:43Speaker 4: people give you the day off of that since you've
- 32:44Speaker 4: actually been slogging it for seventy two hours straight. And
- 32:48Speaker 4: we were slogging with no with no relient. You're just
- 32:52Speaker 4: as non stop. So you think you do earn a
- 32:54Speaker 4: couple of hours off, maybe a Monday off. But I said,
- 32:56Speaker 4: look at that.
- 32:57Speaker 3: That's the thing magging. I'm not asking for the day off.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I'm asking for three hours exactly, specifically four or seven please, yeah, yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 3: And so basically what I want to know on three
- 33:07Speaker 3: four eight three every text in the jaw for a
- 33:09Speaker 3: reburg about you, and also oh one hundred hodaki if
- 33:12Speaker 3: you want to chat to us about it? Would the
- 33:14Speaker 3: world end if there was no big show today? Like,
- 33:17Speaker 3: for example, if we went to the next song break
- 33:19Speaker 3: and then it just played nothing but songs for the
- 33:22Speaker 3: next few hours and we went there, would that really
- 33:24Speaker 3: change anything?
- 33:25Speaker 2: That's a really good question.
- 33:26Speaker 4: I think it's just increased a desire for the big show.
- 33:28Speaker 4: So absence makes the heart grow phonic. So imagine how
- 33:31Speaker 4: many people will be listening tomorrow if we didn't come
- 33:34Speaker 4: on here today. Well, with that kind of theory, after
- 33:36Speaker 4: the rest of the week, imagine how big the numbers
- 33:38Speaker 4: would be next Well.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I was going to say, on that theory, we take
- 33:41Speaker 2: the rest of the week off, then come back strong
- 33:44Speaker 2: on the Monday.
- 33:44Speaker 3: And when you think about it, Jase, that's only fifteen
- 33:46Speaker 3: hours we're having it all exactly.
- 33:48Speaker 4: You know, it's not essentially two days off, that's exactly
- 33:51Speaker 4: maybe for you, keasy, but I do five hours prep
- 33:53Speaker 4: every day, remember, so you know it's a.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Bit more for me. Yeah, right, So there you go.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Then you can stand down on your prep.
- 34:00Speaker 2: My kind of theory is actually get back on the
- 34:03Speaker 2: horse straight away. You know, she's been a big weekend.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Go and do some great radio and do some hard
- 34:08Speaker 4: graph right, Jess, you come back and here you've got
- 34:11Speaker 4: to sweat it out, don't you totally?
- 34:12Speaker 3: Man? But you know, you put your shoulder to the.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Old whatever the hell they say, and then you sweet
- 34:16Speaker 4: like a bastard because you could just put in so
- 34:18Speaker 4: much effort into running your yep.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Well what about this fells on three four three? They're
- 34:22Speaker 3: already coming through the sort of just backing me up
- 34:24Speaker 3: on this, really, heye, Jack here, the radio will be
- 34:27Speaker 3: way better if you knobs weren't on it. That's true.
- 34:29Speaker 4: I mean, this is what I've been trying to tell
- 34:31Speaker 4: the bossles here for years. But you know, actually I
- 34:33Speaker 4: find that quite hurtful. Oh yeah, today I find everything here?
- 34:37Speaker 3: Yeah sure, okay, yeah, well know, because what the I mean,
- 34:40Speaker 3: it might if you And that's the problem with text, right,
- 34:42Speaker 3: you read them and you don't know the context that.
- 34:44Speaker 3: But the way you're saying it is, mate, it would
- 34:46Speaker 3: be way better tomorrow if you guys weren't on it today.
- 34:48Speaker 4: But this one here says my world would end if
- 34:50Speaker 4: there was no big show today. The way I hear
- 34:53Speaker 4: that that is, oh yeah, my world would end if
- 34:56Speaker 4: there was no big show exa.
- 34:58Speaker 2: I feel like he hates us even more than the
- 35:00Speaker 2: other guy was saying we were not.
- 35:02Speaker 3: He hates us more than I hate myself. I don't
- 35:05Speaker 3: know about that. I don't know if that's possible. But
- 35:07Speaker 3: three four eight three, would you guys care if we
- 35:10Speaker 3: just sort of didn't come back after the next few
- 35:12Speaker 3: songs and which is just just songs for the next.
- 35:13Speaker 4: Three So you guys just give us a couple of
- 35:15Speaker 4: years off. You guys could have a couple of years off,
- 35:17Speaker 4: you know, yeah, exactly, how about that?
- 35:19Speaker 1: The whole archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 35:22Speaker 1: tune in four radio.
- 35:25Speaker 3: So you've got a winning anniversary coming out. Great, well
- 35:28Speaker 3: done man, Thanks, Honestly, I never thought it would last
- 35:32Speaker 3: as well. Snap two years. Crazy, that's two years. It
- 35:38Speaker 3: feels like it doesn't feel like it's two years. Two
- 35:40Speaker 3: years far, two years since you guys weren't invited. Isn't
- 35:44Speaker 3: that crazy? Remember that so clearly?
- 35:46Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 35:47Speaker 2: I wasn't fast, to be honest, Yeah, no neither. I
- 35:49Speaker 2: got up with your wife a couple of weeks later,
- 35:51Speaker 2: had a coffee and it was it.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Was all, okay. One thing that has struck me this week.
- 35:57Speaker 3: And I'm going to another wedding and it's on the
- 36:00Speaker 3: same it's the day before our wedding anniversary, right, and
- 36:04Speaker 3: so we're going away for this trip. And it's kind
- 36:06Speaker 3: of like we're away for this wedding, which is really great.
- 36:07Speaker 3: And the day after our wedding anniversary, let's make a
- 36:09Speaker 3: weekend of it, you know, we go down to tupor
- 36:12Speaker 3: beautiful part of the country. I find it quite cold there.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Oh really, it's a shame. We'll have to change the ould,
- 36:18Speaker 3: tell them to change the venue in that, get them
- 36:20Speaker 3: to have the winning somewhere else. Jays Sure. But something
- 36:25Speaker 3: struck me as I was driving into work today. I
- 36:28Speaker 3: haven't purchased a wedding anniversary present. Is that a thing?
- 36:31Speaker 3: I feel like it might be a thing. I haven't
- 36:33Speaker 3: organized a dinner and it's been very chill and very
- 36:36Speaker 3: low key in the Keezy household. So I'm just worried
- 36:38Speaker 3: I might be walking into a bit of a situation
- 36:39Speaker 3: here where she might be not that she ever does
- 36:42Speaker 3: expect stuff like that. She's got a Hoover tea. Yeah, man,
- 36:47Speaker 3: she's a shocker. Yeah yeah, that's what I'm saying. That
- 36:49Speaker 3: can't happen. Man, that can happen. And all of a
- 36:51Speaker 3: sudden you get married and then you find out like
- 36:53Speaker 3: Jason and I. Yeah, you know, you don't want to
- 36:55Speaker 3: reveal too much too soon, or you can put them off.
- 36:57Speaker 3: And she's probably done the same thing to you. Her
- 37:00Speaker 3: of a timber that she's got. Well, when it comes
- 37:02Speaker 3: to your anniversary, man, yeah, your cool, you know, sinking
- 37:07Speaker 3: ship and whatnot, But you can't buy a gift. I
- 37:10Speaker 3: just wouldn't spend too much. So the first anniversary traditionally
- 37:15Speaker 3: has something to do with paper. Paper.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Yeah, So I wrote my wife a quite amazing poem,
- 37:20Speaker 4: if I'm honest, which she still carries around with her.
- 37:23Speaker 4: That's what that's what I did for paper. I could
- 37:25Speaker 4: write her a poem. Was too late because it was
- 37:27Speaker 4: the first. I didn't get missed that. So second anniversary
- 37:31Speaker 4: traditionally cotton something to do with cotton.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, some cotton buds or something. Yeah yeah, yeah, something
- 37:38Speaker 3: for a year, like a packet of cotton. But just
- 37:40Speaker 3: on that. Actually she could get you cutton birds for
- 37:42Speaker 3: your ears. Yeah yeah, because when you get the swimmers
- 37:45Speaker 3: here and stuff, but buds, I think that what the
- 37:50Speaker 3: hell's a cotton bird?
- 37:51Speaker 2: What you're going through the second in the second year
- 37:54Speaker 2: is called the plateauing.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Oh that's the thing you were talking about. Yeah, yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 3: so you guys really struggled to get out of it.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Were you where you plateau and reality sinks in? Yeah, yeah,
- 38:07Speaker 2: when the reality of it the first anniversary, it's like
- 38:11Speaker 2: this still a bit of hopes. You know, you've still
- 38:13Speaker 2: got dreams, you still got all these things that you're
- 38:15Speaker 2: planning to do. Right a year down the track, you
- 38:18Speaker 2: realize none of that stuff's going to happen. You're just
- 38:21Speaker 2: on a slow decline towards pregnancy. Living in the suburbs,
- 38:26Speaker 2: more debts. Yeah, finding each other really tedious, having separate
- 38:32Speaker 2: sort of social lives.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Going for walks after dinner because it helps with.
- 38:39Speaker 2: And then what starts happening is you don't even have
- 38:42Speaker 2: tea anymore. You just have like a big lunch, you
- 38:45Speaker 2: know what I mean? Because this is oddly specific, because
- 38:49Speaker 2: you know, you don't need to have a big dinner.
- 38:51Speaker 3: And yeah, and also we chatted at lunch. I don't
- 38:53Speaker 3: want to chat over the dinner table.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, there's nothing worse, you know than going out to
- 38:58Speaker 2: dinner with your loved one and you've just got no ched.
- 39:01Speaker 3: To chat left.
- 39:02Speaker 4: So you just both on your phones. Yeah, you just
- 39:04Speaker 4: tapping away there, send each other reels.
- 39:06Speaker 2: And then you look over another couple and you go, jeez,
- 39:08Speaker 2: look at those losers that we've either got nothing to
- 39:11Speaker 2: say to each other.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So should I get her anything? Or what are
- 39:21Speaker 3: we doing here? I'll just get the get the cup
- 39:25Speaker 3: and dougs?
- 39:25Speaker 2: What are they?
- 39:26Speaker 3: By the way they cut stuff today? I'm not sure?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Okay cutting? Has she got you anything? No? Just arrangement
- 39:35Speaker 3: so she no, she's done nothing.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah, actually the whole actual Big Show with Jason, Mike
- 39:43Speaker 1: and Keyzy tune in week days at four on radio.
- 39:46Speaker 2: Hold ikey, tellers, I want to get your advice on
- 39:48Speaker 2: something and I'm struggling with it.
- 39:51Speaker 3: You know that I've been going to the gym. I've
- 39:53Speaker 3: been doing that for a long time. But I've changed
- 39:56Speaker 3: it up this year and.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Gone I've gone from you know, doing massive weights and
- 40:05Speaker 2: strength work to kind of an aerobic kind of workout.
- 40:08Speaker 2: I've become focused on getting my heart rate up in
- 40:12Speaker 2: the old hoody j tick isn't quite what it used
- 40:15Speaker 2: to be.
- 40:16Speaker 3: And I'll be honest with you. Usually I struggle to
- 40:19Speaker 3: get there. Yeah, we'll like to the gym.
- 40:24Speaker 2: It's there before that, I used to struggle with a lot, right,
- 40:27Speaker 2: and I go, oh, God, do I really want to
- 40:29Speaker 2: do this? And then I go, right, let's just forget that.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Shut your brain down, put the tunes on, get to
- 40:35Speaker 2: the gym, get it done.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Nice.
- 40:38Speaker 2: But what I'm finding this year, because I've switched it
- 40:41Speaker 2: up a bit and I hate doing aerobic stuff, is I'm.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Still struggling with that.
- 40:46Speaker 2: But usually in the you know, in the past year,
- 40:48Speaker 2: i'd go there and just I wouldn't bother me and
- 40:50Speaker 2: I'd get it done. Now I'm getting there and I'm
- 40:53Speaker 2: going I still hate it. I'm like three minutes into
- 40:56Speaker 2: it and I go, this sacks.
- 40:58Speaker 4: Ass, and I can I I don't want to interrupt,
- 41:02Speaker 4: you can I be so bold as to say, I
- 41:04Speaker 4: think potentially the reason why you don't like going to
- 41:07Speaker 4: the gym is because you've got no structure and you
- 41:10Speaker 4: don't see any results.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Mate, you've clearly but you've clearly naked. No, my results
- 41:19Speaker 2: are pretty good. But listen, I'm seriously considering roiding out,
- 41:25Speaker 2: and I want to get your guys pros and cons
- 41:27Speaker 2: on that because I sort of feel like I roid o.
- 41:30Speaker 2: I go hard, cheese, easy, peasy. Yeah, I get a
- 41:34Speaker 2: bit like Moogi, you know, cat Yeah, and looking sharp.
- 41:38Speaker 3: As I know, there's a few.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Downsides, but I mean I just feel like if I
- 41:43Speaker 2: do that, I'll get it done, and I'll get it
- 41:44Speaker 2: done with enthusiasm every day.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Your thoughts, Yeah, go for it. You reckon your pros
- 41:50Speaker 3: and cons. First pro is, you know, obviously, if you're jacked,
- 41:53Speaker 3: everyone loves you. Yeah, totally totally happens. If you're going to.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Start wearing those sort of tops that the big body
- 42:00Speaker 2: is wearing stuff, I mean, my veins already kind of
- 42:03Speaker 2: pop anyway, but now they'll.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Really be popping, so that's a massive pro. Everyone will
- 42:07Speaker 3: love it. You can start wearing smaller T shirts if
- 42:10Speaker 3: you work and like I see Moggie doing this a
- 42:13Speaker 3: lot of like shadow boxing and shadow kickboxing. Yeah yeah,
- 42:16Speaker 3: just a roundhouse.
- 42:18Speaker 4: And I.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Honestly believe I look better with like a purple complexion,
- 42:24Speaker 2: you know where the veins are bulging.
- 42:26Speaker 3: I'm looking purple like it's really working hard. Yeah yeah, okay,
- 42:31Speaker 3: Well I'm in I'm in there, and I think I'll
- 42:34Speaker 3: do it. I think you should. Well, there's no cons
- 42:37Speaker 3: what's the cons a my cost of it? Yeah? Wow,
- 42:39Speaker 3: I mean you know, I mean I think you get
- 42:41Speaker 3: back acne. How do you feel about needles? Oh?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Man, I'm pretty hardcore about that, you know what I mean?
- 42:49Speaker 2: Their needles involved?
- 42:50Speaker 3: Are they?
- 42:51Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:51Speaker 4: Well that's how you get the roids into your body.
- 42:59Speaker 4: You normally do not how I normally do it. You
- 43:02Speaker 4: have to instruct me. So you okay, I think you
- 43:05Speaker 4: do it. Jason, what was it your heart rate? You
- 43:06Speaker 4: want to get that up? I think I think you
- 43:09Speaker 4: still have to exercise though, you still have to put
- 43:12Speaker 4: an effort. I don't think you take steroids. It's like
- 43:14Speaker 4: if you send an episode of South Pack where Cartman
- 43:16Speaker 4: eats all the protein powder, it never goes to the
- 43:19Speaker 4: gym and so it just gets fat.
- 43:22Speaker 2: Are you saying that I still have to do it.
- 43:23Speaker 4: I think you still have to put in an effort.
- 43:25Speaker 4: I don't think it just puts muscles on you.
- 43:27Speaker 3: Nah. For that, you have to go that plastic surgery
- 43:30Speaker 3: thing where they now we're talking, so you want to go,
- 43:33Speaker 3: and you.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Want you want is tall plants and gets ebbs ebbs.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Yeah, like old made the boxer Oscodella Hoya's.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Got Can you transplant those bastards?
- 43:46Speaker 3: Can you?
- 43:47Speaker 4: Well no, I don't know there's a transplant, but you
- 43:49Speaker 4: just put in some plastic and they're like fake buzzies.
- 43:52Speaker 2: You get that.
- 43:53Speaker 3: But for all your guns in that? Yeah? How good
- 43:56Speaker 3: to a winner there? Man? Why do you do that?
- 43:58Speaker 4: It's still very much an experiment to a form of surgery.
- 44:00Speaker 4: But I think you'd make a great guinea peg.
- 44:04Speaker 3: I reckon do that? I reckon?
- 44:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been thinking about what to do with my
- 44:08Speaker 2: dog squad money and a bit of plastic surgery.
- 44:11Speaker 3: But a roid action, Well, if you go to get
- 44:13Speaker 3: plastic surgery, I wouldn't focus on that first. I'd probably
- 44:15Speaker 3: do other areas. This is a tumor? Is this? Weasy?
- 44:20Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 44:23Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 44:25Speaker 3: Hold Ike, I've got a bone to pick with you,
- 44:27Speaker 3: haughty j I got a bowler pick. So I do
- 44:31Speaker 3: a gaming podcast, right, extremely casual gamers, that's what it's called.
- 44:36Speaker 3: It's once a week very casual gaming chair. Me and
- 44:38Speaker 3: a couple of my mates. One of my mates wanted
- 44:40Speaker 3: to start, and I was like, y, I'll do it
- 44:41Speaker 3: with you. Man. It's a passion project. Yeah yeah, you
- 44:44Speaker 3: can know what I see it too when you listen
- 44:45Speaker 3: to it, Jason, this is the issue that I am having.
- 44:49Speaker 3: How do you see something when you're listening to it
- 44:51Speaker 3: that doesn't make sense. I'm just saying you can feel
- 44:54Speaker 3: the passion. Oh yeah you. So we upload little video, right,
- 45:00Speaker 3: and so a guy who's on the podcast with me,
- 45:03Speaker 3: he uploaded a little story onto Instagram. It was like, Hey,
- 45:05Speaker 3: the latest episodes out, blah bla blah blah blah. This
- 45:07Speaker 3: is what we talk about. And then Jace messages me
- 45:09Speaker 3: because I shared on my story and he goes, can't wait,
- 45:12Speaker 3: bring it on, and I'm just like Jace, stop it
- 45:16Speaker 3: and he's like, what, Kezy, I'm genuinely fizzed up for
- 45:18Speaker 3: your podcast. I know for a fact, you are not
- 45:21Speaker 3: fizzed up for my podcast. I love it, Kezy. The
- 45:25Speaker 3: next one here, we were talking about an old game
- 45:27Speaker 3: from back in the day, l A Noir. It was
- 45:29Speaker 3: called You're talking about how good it was, blah blah
- 45:31Speaker 3: blah blah blah, and then he comments it was the
- 45:33Speaker 3: bomb for sure, great stuff, fellas. I know for a
- 45:38Speaker 3: fact that you not only have you not listened to
- 45:40Speaker 3: the podcast, you don't even know what I'm talking about.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I'll tell you what back in the day that was
- 45:44Speaker 2: the game though, which one.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Off the top of my head. We then uploaded a
- 45:50Speaker 3: video of a new game that just came out, Kingdom
- 45:53Speaker 3: Come Deliverance Too, and I was talking about the ratings
- 45:55Speaker 3: and how it had gone down pretty well.
- 45:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and it had received on meta credit eighty eight percent.
- 46:01Speaker 3: Not only there. If I remember the video, it was
- 46:03Speaker 3: eighty eight percent out of one hundred percent. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:06Speaker 3: I can tell Mogie watched it. Listen. Well, I just
- 46:08Speaker 3: said eighty eight percent, and then you commented eighty eight percent.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Certainly pretty good. Stop taking the purse out of my
- 46:17Speaker 3: gaming podcast.
- 46:18Speaker 2: All right, Keyzy, As I say, I'm getting into my
- 46:22Speaker 2: gaming now. I've even bought a gaming chair, and I.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Said, have you got a console? And what did you
- 46:29Speaker 3: start with?
- 46:30Speaker 2: I put my headphones on with the Little cat ears
- 46:33Speaker 2: and I listened to your guys podcasts and it's great stuff.
- 46:37Speaker 3: But you haven't bought a console. Yeah you can get
- 46:41Speaker 3: these headphones that have fake caddy.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, that's cool. But can you please just
- 46:47Speaker 4: like if you are so it's kind of the problem here, Jasons.
- 46:50Speaker 4: That might start an absolute del use your people making
- 46:54Speaker 4: those kind of comments.
- 46:56Speaker 3: My supportive comment, Yes, yeah, well I hope it does.
- 47:00Speaker 3: That's that's what it's not. You're talking about muddying the
- 47:05Speaker 3: waters in and let's not muddy the waters between my
- 47:07Speaker 3: innocent little gaming podcast and this ridiculous show. All right, Jace,
- 47:13Speaker 3: I'm going I'm going to continue to enjoy it. Jase,
- 47:17Speaker 3: who are the hosts of that show?
- 47:19Speaker 2: Keysys mating that woman?
- 47:23Speaker 3: That's right?
- 47:25Speaker 1: The Hold Acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 47:28Speaker 1: tune in week days and four on Radio Hold.
- 47:31Speaker 3: I can now listen.
- 47:32Speaker 2: In the first break of the show, I was addressing
- 47:34Speaker 2: rumors about Hoody j being the next Pope. They've just
- 47:38Speaker 2: been floating around the place, and I just thought it
- 47:39Speaker 2: was important to make a statement about it and say
- 47:42Speaker 2: just nonsense, Okay, it's not happening.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Right where there's smoke this fire, and usually rumors can
- 47:49Speaker 3: in fact be based on a bit of truth. That's right.
- 47:51Speaker 3: So let's just pretend that black smoke. You'd know, man,
- 47:56Speaker 3: you're the guy who's going to be the next pope, allegedly.
- 47:59Speaker 3: So we decide to get people to texture on three
- 48:01Speaker 3: four eight three, because I think one of the most
- 48:02Speaker 3: fun parts about becoming the pope is choosing your pope name. Yes,
- 48:06Speaker 3: lots of great suggestions on three four right three here, Jase,
- 48:09Speaker 3: all these people in the drawer for a fifty reburg
- 48:11Speaker 3: about which is good? Are they great suggestion?
- 48:15Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 48:15Speaker 3: So for example, we'll just start things off Pope nips
- 48:21Speaker 3: it's pretty good. What about two stroke? Popey?
- 48:25Speaker 2: J Can I just address the first one?
- 48:33Speaker 3: Is more your things? I'm not gonna be the next
- 48:35Speaker 3: pope man, ah, Joe, I don't think that's how pope
- 48:41Speaker 3: name was.
- 48:44Speaker 4: Pope Honker, Yes, yeah, Pope Probiscus has popped up here
- 48:49Speaker 4: as well.
- 48:51Speaker 2: The eleventh well.
- 48:53Speaker 3: There's been ten of them already. One of this one's good,
- 48:57Speaker 3: Pope wey jeers.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Pope to doe to do actually hit my big honker
- 49:04Speaker 4: walking into the kitchen bench.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I mean, gosh, the problem is right, yeah, I know
- 49:17Speaker 2: what the problem is a lot of exactly what the
- 49:20Speaker 2: problem will be.
- 49:23Speaker 3: Pope moves.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Sure. Yeah. Still my favorite at the moment is two stroke.
- 49:32Speaker 3: It feels like it's going to be the winner for
- 49:34Speaker 3: two stroke Pope the moss Maximus hon Karis, which I
- 49:44Speaker 3: believe is like Latin for massive snares. Sure sure these
- 49:50Speaker 3: are all great to keep coming. Three four three, get
- 49:53Speaker 3: yourself a year fifty rebig avoucher.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Can we give two stroke? Popey j about you please?
- 50:00Speaker 2: Very good?
- 50:00Speaker 3: And if you promise to lock that and is your
- 50:02Speaker 3: pope name.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Well there may be other suggestions. I'm not going to
- 50:05Speaker 2: lock it in right now, so you are going to
- 50:07Speaker 2: be and I've got to go through the conclave and
- 50:08Speaker 2: all that sort of stuff. It's not a done deal, keasy.
- 50:11Speaker 2: What is There's a lot of politics that go on
- 50:15Speaker 2: right when they elect the new pope?
- 50:17Speaker 5: Will you still be out of knight stabbing and sort
- 50:19Speaker 5: of yeah, you know that sort of stuff.
- 50:21Speaker 3: Backstep backstabbing is what I mean? What about popa honkers?
- 50:27Speaker 1: The Hudiarchy Big show week Days from four on radio
- 50:30Speaker 1: hod Ike Kellers, Hi, get akezy here, Chris here, I've
- 50:37Speaker 1: met a guy on that's not relevant.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I know it's interesting William. I knew it was William.
- 50:42Speaker 2: How did I know that?
- 50:43Speaker 3: Because I've probably seen it before. We worked together for
- 50:45Speaker 3: a long time. I'm a guy on SETI oh, that's
- 50:49Speaker 3: nice man, good finally good stuff. So that's.
- 50:54Speaker 2: And technically it's not.
- 50:57Speaker 3: You know, it's what you know. You break it because
- 51:02Speaker 3: my wife was there. We've been worried sick about you. Yeah,
- 51:07Speaker 3: was there to weight off your shoulders.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Brother.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be except for the
- 51:12Speaker 3: guy I met on Saturday. The reason I'm bringing it
- 51:14Speaker 3: up is that I went to a leaving drinks right.
- 51:19Speaker 3: There's a group of people. There's probably twenty people there,
- 51:21Speaker 3: and I knew about seven of them. One of the
- 51:24Speaker 3: people I knew was with this guy. She's great, Oh hey,
- 51:28Speaker 3: it's been a long time, And I was like, hey, man,
- 51:30Speaker 3: I'm Chris. Nice to meet. You can't remember what his
- 51:31Speaker 3: name was. He goes, he goes for a hand, shyes,
- 51:36Speaker 3: and then she says, oh, you might remember Chris. He
- 51:39Speaker 3: was doing comedy that night. We went to the stand
- 51:42Speaker 3: up Night that's what she said to him, and he goes, oh,
- 51:44Speaker 3: I remember, you're the guy that was trying to be funny,
- 51:48Speaker 3: and he said it and then she laughed and don't
- 51:52Speaker 3: be stop being silly. And he was the whole night.
- 51:56Speaker 3: He was quite a loudmouth actually, and just firing off
- 51:57Speaker 3: all these out there things. But I was like, is
- 52:00Speaker 3: that funny? Yeah? Or was he a massive sea word? Yeah?
- 52:06Speaker 3: What's your vibe on this? Fellas? And can I also
- 52:08Speaker 3: just to paint a little bit more of a picture
- 52:10Speaker 3: that night that they were at my worst ever comedy gig,
- 52:13Speaker 3: half full. It was one of those ones where now
- 52:15Speaker 3: I'm like, now I've bombed. To be honest, he was accurate.
- 52:21Speaker 3: I was trying to All comedians are trying to funny.
- 52:23Speaker 2: It's right, that's right, That's exactly what I was going
- 52:26Speaker 2: to say. Yeah, you were trying to be funny, But is.
- 52:28Speaker 3: He when it's the thing? Man? Were you trying to
- 52:30Speaker 3: be funny?
- 52:31Speaker 4: Well?
- 52:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I was trying to be funny because
- 52:33Speaker 3: it was a stand up show, you know what I
- 52:35Speaker 3: was thinking about? Yeah?
- 52:36Speaker 4: Yeah, he could pick you out from everyone else because
- 52:38Speaker 4: everybody else would have been trying to be funny.
- 52:40Speaker 3: As well. Yeah, but everyone else wasn't at the leaving drinks. True,
- 52:44Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Yes, that's true.
- 52:45Speaker 2: But I sort of take this point, you know, because
- 52:49Speaker 2: there's trying to be funny and then there is funny, you.
- 52:52Speaker 3: Know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, and I wasn't there,
- 52:56Speaker 3: so I don't know if you were trying to be funny.
- 52:58Speaker 3: I was trying to be funny, right, And to be honest,
- 52:59Speaker 3: I thought I was being funny. Oh okay, And so
- 53:02Speaker 3: he didn't say he could have said, oh, yeah, you
- 53:05Speaker 3: were funny. He didn't say that. He said you were
- 53:07Speaker 3: trying to be What he could have said was oh, hay,
- 53:09Speaker 3: been nice to meet you. Oh yeah, you know, as
- 53:11Speaker 3: opposed to like just immediately to be fair, it's a
- 53:14Speaker 3: big dog move. It's like, oh yeah, you suck basically yeah.
- 53:17Speaker 3: And I'm saying this in front of this girl who
- 53:18Speaker 3: they aren't together. I think he's got to crush on
- 53:20Speaker 3: etherough And I was just like, ah, like he's he's
- 53:23Speaker 3: alfed me there.
- 53:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean he's dominating you because you're bringing
- 53:27Speaker 4: it up days later.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he begged, he big dog, and I was trying
- 53:33Speaker 3: to be funny and he's put you on a leash.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I admire his honesty, right, I mean one of
- 53:42Speaker 2: the issues that we have in this world is people
- 53:45Speaker 2: are just straight up about what they what they think
- 53:48Speaker 2: or feel.
- 53:50Speaker 3: Do more of that?
- 53:50Speaker 2: He was like, right, he was like, you were, Oh, yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 2: you're that guy trying to be funny.
- 54:00Speaker 3: That's not how he said it, by the way he
- 54:01Speaker 3: said it asn't Oh yeah, you're the guy trying to
- 54:03Speaker 3: be funny, right like that? And what did you say?
- 54:06Speaker 3: I said, Oh, yeah, I guess so. And then you
- 54:10Speaker 3: know what I mean, it's like like a real coward. Yeah,
- 54:13Speaker 3: well you've just been big dogs. Yeah yeah, I had
- 54:16Speaker 3: the collar on and yeah yeah, So I just wanted
- 54:20Speaker 3: to get your vibe on that. How would you guys
- 54:21Speaker 3: have responded if that was you, Well, it wouldn't have
- 54:23Speaker 3: happened to me. Yeah, I mean, he wouldn't have said
- 54:25Speaker 3: it to me because you wouldn't leave the house, because
- 54:33Speaker 3: you wouldn't go to a social situation. What's the name
- 54:37Speaker 3: of the song, Jason? Can you still giggling? It's Big the.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Whole Aching, Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 54:49Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hold Iking the
- 54:52Speaker 1: Whole World.
- 54:53Speaker 3: Is a stage. Well are you guys up too? Didn't
- 54:58Speaker 3: check with J.
- 55:00Speaker 2: It should make.
- 55:02Speaker 3: So you guys are actors? Yeah yeah, how long you
- 55:05Speaker 3: been doing that? Twenty odd years? Keasy?
- 55:10Speaker 2: Really well? Actually, if you go back to my teens
- 55:12Speaker 2: when I was acting, probably longer than that, thirty odd years.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Yeah right, okay, truth about fifteen or so? Yeah right, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:21Speaker 3: So tomorrow I have been asked to be part of
- 55:24Speaker 3: a production which involves me to learn some lines. Now,
- 55:28Speaker 3: the production is for children.
- 55:30Speaker 2: I'll just stop you there. Sorry, who asked you this?
- 55:34Speaker 2: As your agent?
- 55:35Speaker 3: I'm asking you organized it for me?
- 55:38Speaker 2: Oh right that one?
- 55:39Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 55:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, great. Agent literally forgets getting me stuff
- 55:43Speaker 3: and then I bring it up. Well, there's just been
- 55:45Speaker 3: so much of it. Remember I get paid nothing and
- 55:47Speaker 3: you yeah, it's good exposure.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Yeah it is.
- 55:53Speaker 3: So tomorrow I have to be part of a production.
- 55:55Speaker 3: It is comedy based. It is for children to view. Yes,
- 55:59Speaker 3: so I'm thinking of to melodrama. I have to play
- 56:02Speaker 3: the role of a commentator. How important is it to
- 56:06Speaker 3: like learn your lines word for word? Like do you
- 56:08Speaker 3: have to learn the word the word or can you
- 56:10Speaker 3: just sort of loosey goosey your way through it. I
- 56:12Speaker 3: just yeah, I just I just vibe with it on
- 56:15Speaker 3: the day.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Absolutely, It's all about getting the vibe of the script,
- 56:20Speaker 2: just the vibe. This is why Megie and I have
- 56:22Speaker 2: been doing all this improvise sort of work with you
- 56:25Speaker 2: so that when you're on seat you can sort of
- 56:27Speaker 2: throw the script away a little and just go with
- 56:31Speaker 2: the general vibe of it. And I tell you what,
- 56:34Speaker 2: nothing impressed as directors, etc. And crew more than an
- 56:38Speaker 2: actor that doesn't do the lines but actually just refs
- 56:42Speaker 2: his own kind of thing, you.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Know, who takes the same Yeah, absolutely right, Okay, because
- 56:48Speaker 3: I just think like if I was a writer, for example,
- 56:50Speaker 3: and I'd written this great script and then the actor
- 56:53Speaker 3: threw it out, even if it was brilliant, I'd be
- 56:56Speaker 3: a wee bit put off by that. Or is that
- 56:57Speaker 3: script is a starting place?
- 56:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's it's a rough guideline, that's right. And
- 57:03Speaker 2: when you say a writer, they're writing for kids, so
- 57:05Speaker 2: that won't be great.
- 57:06Speaker 3: No, that's right. And a so you've got to remember
- 57:07Speaker 3: that to an act or a writer is nothing right,
- 57:12Speaker 3: So that garbage. Yeah, And I'm the big start, that's right.
- 57:15Speaker 2: I mean, I was just sitting there in their little
- 57:17Speaker 2: dank rooms with a cask of red wine, tapping away. Guys,
- 57:20Speaker 2: is so good, This is so good.
- 57:23Speaker 4: The first what you want to do is you want
- 57:24Speaker 4: to get on to see it, and then you want
- 57:26Speaker 4: to say who wrote this crap?
- 57:27Speaker 3: Exactly? I'd be stronger than that and say who wrote
- 57:30Speaker 3: this shit? Right?
- 57:33Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 57:33Speaker 3: So, because I was going to ask how do you
- 57:35Speaker 3: learn lines? That was what I was going to ask,
- 57:37Speaker 3: is like, what do you have any like things you
- 57:39Speaker 3: do to drill them into your brain? But you don't
- 57:41Speaker 3: think I should even learn the line? No, No, the
- 57:43Speaker 3: gist of it though, right, because you need to get
- 57:45Speaker 3: from the scene, start of the scene to the end.
- 57:48Speaker 2: What I what I've done my whole career is I'll
- 57:51Speaker 2: give one look to the script, get the vibe of
- 57:55Speaker 2: the scene, and then just take it from there. Yeah right, yeah, yeah?
- 57:58Speaker 3: And how men, who's expected to know the character better? You?
- 58:01Speaker 3: Who is the character?
- 58:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:03Speaker 3: Or the person who wrote it who isn't the character?
- 58:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:06Speaker 3: Right, because my instincts is the second person. But the way,
- 58:09Speaker 3: because you're saying I think you are the character, I
- 58:11Speaker 3: am the character, You've gotta let.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Go of those instincts.
- 58:14Speaker 3: They're leading you down the wrong path. All right, okay,
- 58:16Speaker 3: thanks fellas. Yeah, you wouldn't put me wrong, would you know?
- 58:19Speaker 3: How you go?
- 58:19Speaker 2: Yeah, let us know how you get on.
- 58:22Speaker 3: Well, I want to be asked back for more Jay
- 58:24Speaker 3: so that you can get more commissioned man, you know. Yeah,
- 58:26Speaker 3: so you think this is the way to do it. Totally,
- 58:29Speaker 3: thanks Fellas. I really appreciate that.
- 58:31Speaker 1: The Hudiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 58:35Speaker 1: hod Ike.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Talking New Year's resolutions. Mogi has given up the purse
- 58:39Speaker 2: of the Darries. I'm learning the piano and an entire
- 58:42Speaker 2: album up to key just.
- 58:44Speaker 3: On Moggie's one Someone's because you're giving up the darries
- 58:47Speaker 3: and the booze. And when you're in New Zealand, yes,
- 58:50Speaker 3: because there's a few trips and things coming up where
- 58:53Speaker 3: you could be swayed to.
- 58:54Speaker 4: I will be swayed percent. So I'm going to I'm
- 58:58Speaker 4: going to I'm going away waste at Wembley and then
- 59:02Speaker 4: possibly a week with my wife prior to that and Italy.
- 59:05Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not drinking soda water, the
- 59:09Speaker 4: wine exactly.
- 59:10Speaker 3: A bit of darts are good as well. How does
- 59:13Speaker 3: this text make you feel though? Come on, Mogi man
- 59:15Speaker 3: have a couple of beers. He's on a Friday, your bat.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Yeah, well look, I completely agree. And if I could
- 59:20Speaker 4: keep it to a couple of beers on a Friday,
- 59:22Speaker 4: I would, but I can't.
- 59:23Speaker 2: Yeah, sure you can't.
- 59:24Speaker 4: I can keep it to fifty beers on Friday and
- 59:26Speaker 4: sixty on Saturday, responsibly.
- 59:28Speaker 3: Responsibly, Yeah, yeah, surely. Hoidy J's resolution is to actually
- 59:33Speaker 3: win the Throbber Nah, because I've won it now and
- 59:36Speaker 3: Moggie's true. Nah whatever, but there won't be any thoughts
- 59:41Speaker 3: of Throbbers.
- 59:42Speaker 2: There will just be thoughts of how beautifully I play
- 59:45Speaker 2: the piano.
- 59:46Speaker 3: Yeah, totally. My news resolutions a bit. It's a bit
- 59:51Speaker 3: different this year, fellers. Last year, the resolution was to
- 59:54Speaker 3: build a deck, Yes, on my house. Yeah, I was
- 59:57Speaker 3: all lined up to do it, and on your house
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: at my house off the front of my house there,
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: and unfortunately the week came to do it and my
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: dad got sick. He was the one who was going
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: to help me and teach me how to do it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Build it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: Oh so your New Year's resolution was for your dad
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: to build it. Did you have anything for yourself though,
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: because that's a resolution you've made for something me and.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: I was going to build it. He was just going
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: to get me started, and I was going to you know,
