- 2:13Man. Oh shit.
- 2:14Yeah, he he just tweaked it a little bit.
- 2:16He He played through it and had to.

- 2:39refresh and focus on other things, but I'm back.
- 2:42I got some some good stat Nuggets as always for this
- 2:45podcast. How was Tulsa?
- 2:48It was awesome. So for those who don't know, I
- 2:50was in Oklahoma. The weekend before this past one
- 2:55working with the Charlotte 49ers football team went out to Tulsa.
- 2:57OK, got a big come from behind overtime victory there we got we
- 3:02got out as soon as we could which is nice but it was it was
- 3:05it was good first time ever going to Oklahoma.
- 3:07So I had. I had a great time.
- 3:09That was birthday weekend too, right?
- 3:11It was birthday weekend. We had a nice steakhouse dinner,
- 3:14got to celebrate, a little bit of a dessert.
- 3:16So All in all was a pretty good, pretty solid trip.
- 3:18I I would, I would definitely recommend Tulsa.
- 3:21All right. Definitely recommends Tulsa.

- 4:02Hooking a man up here. All right, fellas.
- 4:04All right, fellas. There you go, Tally.
- 4:06He heard you out there. Awesome.
- 4:07Awesome. Well, we do have a football game
- 4:10to talk about and we are going to talk about that.
- 4:12But we're going to hit this first and then we're going to
- 4:15talk about some of the stuff that happened in the Hokie
- 4:17sports last week. Just for a bit.
- 4:18First of all, rally for Robbie. I'll see it as my hashtag there.
- 4:22We don't know quite yet where they're going to be located this
- 4:25week for the game. Grayson Wimbush.
- 4:27Give him a follow. He can tell you where it is.
- 4:30As always, it is $7.00. It is always at the pharmacy.
- 4:34Then know it right there. Get this for this season.
- 4:37Great 'cause to support. All right, let's talk about
- 4:40hoops, both men's and women's. First, let's talk about men's
- 4:43because literally on this TV back here, don't see it right
- 4:47there. We just finished watching a game
- 4:49versus Campbell. I got to watch some of the
- 4:52second-half. Tally Texted said he was
- 4:53watching some of the first Shelton Watt.
- 4:57Would anybody like to give their thoughts on this game?
- 5:01I'm just going to say not to sound too negative.
- 5:04Wasn't shooting good in that first half.
- 5:07I think we was like, oh for 10 before we hit our first three.
- 5:11Couture hit it and if this team is going to live and by live and
- 5:16die by the three we cannot play a CACC teams that way.
- 5:23You play a Virginia like that or a Duke like that or North
- 5:28Carolina State like that you're going to be down quick.
- 5:32So, I mean, they did. I can't say kid, look, kid looks
- 5:38different, you know? He kind of, he cut his half, so
- 5:41he definitely like, he just appearance looks different, but
- 5:44it looks like he slammed up a little bit or just like muscled
- 5:50up a little bit. And I think he's averaging like
- 5:5316 and 10 right now, you know? I know it's only been like three
- 5:56games, but last year he only averaged like 4 points.
- 5:59So he's taking on a bigger role this year and he looks good.
- 6:04So I was watching with my son and he was like.
- 6:07They're not hitting those shots. How they win and I was like what
- 6:09a team they're playing is not doing good either and that big
- 6:12man is, is doing work. So yeah, I.
- 6:16Think he ended up with 24 and 15?
- 6:18Yeah, something like that. I think he had like the 1st 10
- 6:20points, so he he he was doing some work.
- 6:23So that's, that's what I seen from the day.
- 6:26Sheldon, what about you? I know you got to watch a little
- 6:27bit more of it than I think we did.
- 6:29I know. And you were telling us, You
- 6:31were telling us beforehand. Sheldon Dalton count November in
- 6:34college basketball the way. Well, I mean it's it's it's
- 6:39just, you know, hard to know how to react to these types of games
- 6:42because you're playing a inferior opponent that you
- 6:45should take care of business of. And it's sometimes it's hard to
- 6:48get get those kids up for it. But I thought, I thought Lincoln
- 6:51had a great game. He has really polished his
- 6:53offensive game around the paint 24 and 15, just has really good
- 6:58length and athleticism and he puts it to good use.
- 7:02The problem is, you know, I just don't know who can really.
- 7:05Create their shot outside of Padula or Kid right now.
- 7:08Obviously they didn't have Nickel Tyler Nickel who's out
- 7:10sick, but you just look at the offense and they just they
- 7:14nothing's clicking right now and they don't have the offensive
- 7:17weapons. I don't think that they did last
- 7:19year to to some degree. So we'll see how it all plays
- 7:21out. I know it's still early, it's
- 7:23still November, but I do have some concerns.
- 7:26But I'm I'm going to try to wait and just take the pragmatic
- 7:28approach and see if they can figure things out in the next
- 7:30couple weeks. Brian, anything.
- 7:34I don't know how much you got to see.
- 7:35Yeah I mean right now to me the MJ Colin lives are coming to
- 7:38fruition like I thought we were going to see some some different
- 7:42business out of him. We we're not seeing that yet.
- 7:45The rest of the team just did not have a good shooting,
- 7:48especially in the first half. Good shooting night, you know,
- 7:52thankfully, you know kid was doing some work and we had some
- 7:55some some some key points here and there then and and played a
- 7:59little bit better. The defense that I think we did
- 8:03you know got the gate so I know it's I know the opponent isn't
- 8:06great so it's really hard to kind of put a put a stamp on
- 8:10that or grade on that but you know they they they think they
- 8:13shot under 25% from the field and right at 20% from 3:00 we we
- 8:19weren't much better from three but we were at least in the kind
- 8:22of upper side of the 30s from from field goals so.
- 8:27You know, it's hard, hard to take away a lot of positives
- 8:29from that, but you got to win. That's that.
- 8:31That's the biggest, biggest piece you can take away.
- 8:34Yeah, got to win. And unlike Friday night against
- 8:36the Gamecocks, you know we lost by two.
- 8:38But there's something I noticed and it's both games.
- 8:40I didn't see it in the Cop and State game, but the first part
- 8:43of the game, I was kind of doing stuff and it reminds me of the
- 8:47football team. This year we are starting super
- 8:50slow, We're starting cold. We can't find the groove and
- 8:53that proved to be Doom versus South Carolina because we
- 8:57stormed back in the second-half and and yes, you can say, well,
- 9:00if Padula turned, turned the ball over right there at the end
- 9:03with a chance to tie, we could have tied it and maybe won that
- 9:06game. The whole thing is if you're
- 9:08having a battle back that hard and you shoot like you did in
- 9:11the first half again this game and last game, there's going to
- 9:14be a lot of problems throughout the season and they've got to
- 9:18get that figured out. And I was mentioning LeBron for
- 9:20both. Y'all hopped on, unlike last
- 9:23year. This year, with Auburn around
- 9:25the corner and with Boise State coming up, two teams that were
- 9:28in the NCAA tournament, you're going to probably somewhere
- 9:32between if you don't win either one of those games.
- 9:36What, Four and four? Four and 4-5 and three going
- 9:40into conference play. And that's not good.
- 9:42Let's talk about they've got Wofford later this week.
- 9:45I'm sure that'll be on a CCACCNX.
- 9:49I'm pretty sure it is. And watching that little thing.
- 9:53Let's talk about the women's game last Thursday.
- 9:56First of all, what a game. Regardless, you know what a
- 10:00game. Hokies come out on the the
- 10:02losing end of that. So Sheldon, did you get a chance
- 10:05to watch a game or you working on Thursday night?
- 10:10Which one Iowa Tech last Thursday?
- 10:14Yes indeed I was actually I was there it was an awesome game it
- 10:18was lived up to five I'm I'm only about 30 minutes light rail
- 10:22from the Spectrum Center so I went down there with a friend.
- 10:25I would say regardless of yacom it was just fantastic to watch.
- 10:28I mean every it lived up to the billing you had Caitlin Clark
- 10:32going off and George Amor going off hitting a a buzzer beater 3
- 10:36in the first quarter from half court.
- 10:38So great game. I think biggest take away is.
- 10:43You know tech's got to work some things out.
- 10:45I think they got really hurt by foul trouble because they they
- 10:49had, I think they had two, two of their wings, Kayla King and
- 10:52Carly Wenzel had you know 3 plus fouls in the first half and they
- 10:55just, they Kenny just couldn't play them.
- 10:56So you had to go with you know four big line UPS that were
- 10:58really bad for spacing and shot creation and against a team like
- 11:02Iowa, it's just it's just not going to work.
- 11:03So you know, credit to Kayla Clark, I thought she the way she
- 11:07drives and the way she uses her her arm to sort of initiate
- 11:10contact. She's really, really good at
- 11:13drawing fouls and that obviously hurts.
- 11:14We just they just couldn't defend her.
- 11:16So I mean it is what it is. You you lost to you lost to the
- 11:19best part in the court, so can't make too much of it.
- 11:22But I just thought it was a fantastic game and I think Tech
- 11:26has has a lot of a lot of room to improve.
- 11:29That's a crazy thing to say. You said it's a lot of room to
- 11:32improve and to me it means this team's good.
- 11:34This team's going to hang with anybody in the country all year.
- 11:38You mentioned more and a lot of people were jumping on Liz
- 11:41Kittle. Liz Kittle went 16 and 16 and
- 11:44she got elbowed in the face and she was out.
- 11:47Where me and Brian, we were sitting downstairs on Thursday
- 11:50night playing poker when she cooked that elbow to the face.
- 11:53Me and Brian, we said me and you kind of mentioned like, man,
- 11:56we're not the same team. Because at that point I think we
- 11:59were like, up. And then this did that when the
- 12:01swing happened, when she took the elbow right there.
- 12:04Yeah, it felt like that was kind of.
- 12:06Even though she really didn't miss that much time in terms of
- 12:09court time like you know there was a little bit of like a a
- 12:12sigh there that it took. I think it took the team a
- 12:15little while to kind of reboot a little bit because by the time
- 12:19you know we we kind of got back in the groove we were down like
- 12:22you know four or five at that point.
- 12:25And then it it ballooned a little bit further after that
- 12:27before they kind of made that run at the end to make it a a
- 12:29pretty tight one at to close out.
- 12:31Yep, tell anything on this. You watch a game, you get a
- 12:35chance. To Yeah man.
- 12:36I mean, I I I didn't get to watch the whole game, but I
- 12:38watched a little bit of it and then went back and watched some
- 12:40highlights. And I mean it's a lot of ladies
- 12:43that was balling on that court and kind of like Y'all said when
- 12:46Kitley gets hurt, well, it's out of the game a little bit when
- 12:49you have a a fixture on your team kind of how she is.
- 12:52You know, man, she was 66, you know, and skilled and can move
- 12:57like she's taking up a lot of space on the court.
- 13:00So everything that she does affects the game, even if she's
- 13:05just standing there with her hands up.
- 13:07You know, people got to shoot around her.
- 13:09They got to pass around her. So her being out, you know, that
- 13:12kind of that kind of hurts the team, even if it's just for a
- 13:15little bit of time. And I think Shelton kind of hit
- 13:17it as well. The foul trouble when you're
- 13:19playing, you know, a team that's got guard oriented like like
- 13:25Iowa was, it's just like you got to, you got to find a way to.
- 13:29Keep everybody on the court and Caitlin Clark is like James
- 13:34Harden, man, prime James Harden, like she finds the files, she's
- 13:38going, she's going to initiate the contact and find the files,
- 13:41man. So I think what I liked about it
- 13:44was seeing that match up early in the season because we expect
- 13:49that that woman's team to be good, seeing them go against
- 13:54another team that we expect to be good.
- 13:56And seeing a show in like that is what you expect.
- 13:59So, you know, you didn't expect to go in and get blew out or the
- 14:03blow somebody else out, you know, So then I think that'll
- 14:06help them in the long run. All righty couple last piece
- 14:10with hokey sports. Real quick to wrap up Wrestling
- 14:13happened last Friday night. Sheldon, I know you.
- 14:17I know you pay attention to wrestling in November because I
- 14:20know you pay attention to wrestling all season.
- 14:23I hope that was sarcastic. I hope that was sarcastic, by
- 14:25the way. But you all you talked about it
- 14:28all last year how much you liked wrestling.
- 14:31I've I've slowly gotten into it, yes.
- 14:32But I'm very much a a novice in the sport.
- 14:35That's why we're going to bring if you call and if you cook and
- 14:37educate I should give you his number and you just text him all
- 14:39the time. We lose 2412 but we only lose
- 14:44four of six matches and and everybody's like if you look at
- 14:48the score we got the doors blown off.
- 14:50You would have think we lost so many matches, but wrestling's
- 14:53that weird sport where how you lose determines on how many
- 14:58points you're given. You know, you get pinned and
- 15:01that did happen. Unfortunately, I think it's Sam
- 15:03Fisher. That's like an 8 pointer right
- 15:06there. You lose another way, it's five,
- 15:08you lose another way, it's four. I don't think it's bad.
- 15:13It's early in the season. We're still a good team.
- 15:18To me it's an after getting into it and having a friend like
- 15:21Fuqua out there who can tell you what's happening, it is a
- 15:25fascinating sport to watch. Yeah, I mean, I was watching.
- 15:29I watched a little bit, you know, I think, you know, having
- 15:36a couple upsets, I think is what kind of shifted the tide even
- 15:39bigger. So Eddie leaves it right off the
- 15:41bat. You can get smashed.
- 15:42Yeah, you have a couple upsets. Then you have have one pin that
- 15:46really kind of swings the the momentum in the other direction.
- 15:51You know the if you look at the matches themselves, it wasn't
- 15:53wasn't that big of a discrepancy, but it was kind of
- 15:56how it went down. They kind of played the played
- 15:59the role there in in that big. You know, they where they
- 16:01doubled us up in points, so tough one, but you know they
- 16:05turned it around, got another easy one out the gate there.
- 16:09So I think there's still going to be a good squad and I think
- 16:13you know we see these guys settle in a little bit.
- 16:15Hopefully they can put out a better show in, especially once
- 16:16we get to some of the ACC. Showdowns there.
- 16:22You know who's a you know who's a wrestler whisperer that people
- 16:26may not know in hokey Twitter? Joe Rogers.
- 16:30Joe Rogers knows a lot about wrestling and I talked to him a
- 16:34lot about wrestling, man. He he was a wrestler.
- 16:39I'll let him tell the story if he ever wants to tell it.
- 16:41But I talked to him a little bit about the match and he said that
- 16:46we're we were, we were. Wrestling, two guys that were
- 16:50not really supposed to be wrestling because two of our top
- 16:54guys didn't make weight, they came in too heavy.
- 16:58So that kind of put us at a disadvantage.
- 16:59And I think he said another one of our starters was wrestling
- 17:03overseas or something this year. It was a couple of things that
- 17:07happened that kind of weren't expected that weren't expected.
- 17:11So if anybody wants to know about some wrestling when he
- 17:15ain't talking crazy. He actually had some pretty good
- 17:18talks about wrestling Joe Rogers.
- 17:20Shout out to Joe, hit him up. Joe Rogers say hey man, I don't
- 17:25want to talk about fucking LED lights today.
- 17:28I want to. Talk to wrestling and guess
- 17:30what, man? He'll give you some good info.
- 17:32I'm telling you, that's my guy, man.
- 17:35I understand. All right, real quick this week.
- 17:39End of the week, another good big match up.
- 17:41Rutgers, the top 15 match up up in Piscataway.
- 17:44Hopefully a better show in that Ohio State.
- 17:46Before we get to our game, we got to talk about one thing
- 17:49that's happened in college football already.
- 17:50There were two firings this year.
- 17:55Pat Fitzgerald got fired early, early in the season.
- 17:58I think full season started. Mel Tucker got fired by the way
- 18:02I looked on Pete Tammel's reporting.
- 18:04The guy who replaced Fitzgerald, who has gone five and five.
- 18:08Tally. We met me and you talked about
- 18:09it earlier like they're like, how do you even that team's five
- 18:13and five. Dave Braun is the guy.
- 18:15He's been the interim coach. He's going to get the label
- 18:17removed, going to be the head coach.
- 18:19But over the weekend, at no shocker, several firings.
- 18:23Couple of them justified. Couple of them, whatever The big
- 18:27one was, Jimbo Fisher got fired. Yeah, fuck him.
- 18:32I hate Jimbo. Well, you can hate him, but I'd
- 18:35like to. He's rich.
- 18:36He's rich. He's.
- 18:38Rich without having to do shit for the next several years?
- 18:42Well, OK, his buyout's 70. Five.
- 18:44He'll be he, somebody said. He'll be in Google buyout of the
- 18:47whole staff. Yeah, ain't it?
- 18:49No, I didn't. What is it you already want to
- 18:52know? 150 million.
- 18:57To do shit. To do nothing.
- 19:00They didn't do nothing, A 150 million.
- 19:03I mean, that's just saying that the guys, well, first of all,
- 19:06how stupid, that's how stupid money they have down there.
- 19:10Most people will have that clause in the contract that says
- 19:13if you get another job, we ain't paying you no more.
- 19:17Right. We ain't paying you no more.
- 19:19Thank you, Rex 76,000,000. I was $1,000,000 off.
- 19:24Man's going to buy a house down in Pensacola with that 76
- 19:28million, but that's crazy. So you got Texas A&M now open.
- 19:32Andy Avalos, who have Boise got fired, and Zach Garnett,
- 19:37Mississippi. Zach Garnett was put in the
- 19:38worst possible spot. Yeah, he was in a bad spot.
- 19:43I mean and you know, so you got those fires.
- 19:47Going, I don't know, man. The new from the new from
- 19:49Northwestern was in a bad spot, too.
- 19:52He was having car wash Dickens up there.
- 19:59Like it was some crazy stuff going on up there.
- 20:02And did y'all had this? Like, yeah, people transferring,
- 20:05they had people get naked. Rubbing.
- 20:08Hey, go read the story, man, I'm.
- 20:11I'm, I'm ready. I'm ready.
- 20:12I'm just a mess. They had some crazy stuff going
- 20:16on up there, so five and five. There's no way.
- 20:20If you told me he was going to win five games with what was
- 20:23going on up there, I would have said you crazy.
- 20:26I swear that that's the first time Car Wash Dickens has been
- 20:29said on a podcast. Car wash Dickens, Man, that's
- 20:33the first time car Wash Dickens has ever been done.
- 20:36Like, I've seen a lot of crazy stuff in football locker rooms.
- 20:39I've never heard of anybody saying you got to go through a
- 20:42Dick car wash as what? That's how we going.
- 20:46That's how we going to haze you, bro.
- 20:48That's some crazy. Hey, some of y'all football
- 20:51players, man, if y'all want to be gay.
- 20:53It's cool to be gay in 2023. Just go be gay, man.
- 20:56Stop doing the crazy shit in the locker rooms.
- 20:59Do like Dwight Howard Shit. Go do what he did.
- 21:02We don't care. Just don't be taking it out on
- 21:05any Dwight. Howard Catches Astray on
- 21:07Boundary Corner podcast. White Howard, That's just for
- 21:11him being terrible with the Lakers, All right.
- 21:12Obviously a lot of guys getting fired, a lot of coordinators
- 21:15already fired as well. I always like it.
- 21:17I I keep up with that stuff because and always this trickle
- 21:20effects and who's going to get you?
- 21:22And then people start. I almost want to create a fake
- 21:24Twitter account and just start throwing out random rumors.
- 21:27You might as well Chris Marr to Mississippi State.
- 21:31He coached there five years ago. They want him do it.
- 21:34Why not? All right.
- 21:36Well, you know who. You know who does that, though,
- 21:38Curtis? For real?
- 21:39The agents. The agents put out so many smoke
- 21:42screens. Just so they can get more money
- 21:45for their, for their, their guys, where they are.
- 21:48So, yeah, you might as well do it.
- 21:49They doing it. All righty.
- 21:52All righty. Real quick.
- 21:53Here it is Now time to tell the truth.
- 21:56And it's tell the truth Wednesday, not tell the truth
- 21:59Tuesday. A a segment we started this year
- 22:03and we always start with the good and what went well.
- 22:06And I need to ask you all this question, was that the same team
- 22:09that played at Louisville two weeks ago?
- 22:11Because that didn't look like the same team.
- 22:14Same players, same bodies, different souls, different
- 22:19coaches. That team came to play the the
- 22:21coaches came to coach. That was one of the, I'll say
- 22:26that's probably like the maybe second or third game.
- 22:29I think that we've like head and shoulders out.
- 22:33Coached another team. Yeah.
- 22:35In the prior era, I mean, they haven't.
- 22:37There haven't been many. That was one of them.
- 22:39We had his shoulders out, coached that other team and we
- 22:43outplayed them too. Yeah, which?
- 22:45Which is just as important. Yeah, definitely something.
- 22:50Tally, you mentioned we were more physical.
- 22:53We were aggressive. We were mean at points in times.
- 22:57And the one thing I love because Boston College prided itself on
- 23:00controlling the clock. We controlled the clock, We
- 23:03controlled the game beginning to end, and I want to start with
- 23:05offense because I'm not kidding. I'm looking at the box score and
- 23:08it's been reiterated 600 yards of total offense.
- 23:14That's nuts. 237 passing 363 on the ground and that they
- 23:20weren't. They're not a maybe adjusted
- 23:22their bad They weren't a terrible defense.
- 23:24It was not like they were the 106th ranked defense in the
- 23:28country. They were somewhere in the 40s
- 23:30or 50s. Sheldon, anything.
- 23:34I'm going to throw it to you because these guys been
- 23:35chatting. I don't.
- 23:37I don't know if you worked Saturday or did you have to
- 23:38catch it on the back end in replays?
- 23:41Yeah, I was able to watch, watch the vast majority of it.
- 23:44I kind of chewed out a little bit towards the second-half just
- 23:47because it's such a blowout, but.
- 23:49Yeah. But yeah, it was good.
- 23:51It was good. But let's Well, Sheldon wasn't.
- 23:54Sheldon wasn't worried at all. No, he was.
- 23:56The whole week he was like, what are y'all talking about?
- 23:59We're going to beat them and we're going to beat them
- 24:01handily. And I'm like, dude, I don't
- 24:02know, man. I don't know if you watching the
- 24:06same fucking team I'm watching. And he was cool.
- 24:08Yeah, you are. I need to bet with him, Chip,
- 24:11he, he texted us. Was it Saturday?
- 24:14We will win And it's just like, yeah, it'll be alright.
- 24:17We will win. I OK.
- 24:18Dude, Whenever he hits people with that though, it's usually
- 24:21like he's got his reason. He pretty spot on when he goes.
- 24:23On man and with the weight gain. All right, well let's talk about
- 24:26some of these guys. Let's talk about Kyron drones
- 24:29first because Kyron drones 219 through the air, 2 touchdowns,
- 24:34135 on the ground included an unbelievable 59 yard run that
- 24:39was a wild ass run. One thing I noticed and and
- 24:43y'all tell me about this, he is looking more and this was this
- 24:48was the one that really jumped out to me on those reads.
- 24:52He is getting more decisive on his pulls.
- 24:55He is getting more decisive. He is giving.
- 24:58He's also getting more leeway. He knows he's starting to see it
- 25:01better, in my opinion, because there were a couple times he
- 25:04ripped it out of Tooten's gut and just took off up the middle
- 25:06and maybe that was the the play. But it just looked like I know
- 25:10exactly what I'm doing on this play.
- 25:13The one that impressed me the most was when he kind of pulled
- 25:16it late. The DN, the Reed DN kind of slow
- 25:20played a little bit and he held it to the last second as soon as
- 25:23he saw him lean just a little bit, pulled it out, did a little
- 25:26little stutter, step out wide. It got, I think was about a 15
- 25:29yard gain on that one. But yeah, I mean, definitely
- 25:33more decisive in the reeds. The the confidence level is is
- 25:37through the roof right now for him and you you see it playing
- 25:41out. It looks like the leadership is
- 25:42developing a lot more on the field.
- 25:45He he's he's feeling more comfortable with checks.
- 25:47You see him checking, not waiting on the call coming in
- 25:50him him checking it, that's that's a big deal.
- 25:53It it's showing that he's really confident in the offense now and
- 25:57we're starting to see that come to fruition in terms of yardage
- 26:00output, scoring output, Ally, what you got.
- 26:04I don't know, man. I'm just a fan.
- 26:05I just watched the game. But watching and seeing stuff
- 26:09that I've seen and been talking about, hey man, kind of seem
- 26:13like we know what we talking about.
- 26:15I mean, the more and more comfortable that Kyron gets,
- 26:19it's like it's scary to watch him play.
- 26:21You know, I would. I do want him to protect himself
- 26:24when he's playing, but he's a football player, you know?
- 26:26I don't want him running 20 times and running people over 20
- 26:29* a game, but. When he makes up in his mind
- 26:32that he is going to leave his his stamp on the game, that's
- 26:36what he does at the beginning of the game.
- 26:38And I hate that it takes him doing that for the team to like
- 26:41come out and wake up. But when he does that man like
- 26:45you see a different offense. Like it'll be one run where
- 26:48you'll see him just he picks somebody out and he punishes
- 26:52them like they don't when you get to the third and fourth
- 26:56quarter and you keep having to hit a person.
- 27:00No2 then drones. Then you know you might get hit
- 27:03by Felton, you may get hit by right?
- 27:05Like you don't want to keep hitting them.
- 27:07People, you know, I've seen in games where we're taking the
- 27:11fight two people, they give up. It's too much, you know.
- 27:14So the only thing that, and I don't want to keep going back
- 27:18to, you know, the bad. But the only thing that pisses
- 27:21me off is because we had that nice stage to show what our guys
- 27:25can do when we went to Louisville, I feel like.
- 27:28We didn't have the confidence to do it and I feel like that was
- 27:31the coaches that didn't have the confidence to do it.
- 27:33But again somebody put it in the in the in the in the comments
- 27:37which we talked about it last week.
- 27:40Just have a routine. You know I know the big story
- 27:43that came out where they said the team you know they had the
- 27:45early wake up call. You know hell you got to fight.
- 27:49You got to bring. If that's a routine you got to
- 27:51have or you got to do things like that to get your team up,
- 27:54then you got to do it. You know, go wake some people up
- 27:57early and bang on the walls. Whatever you got to do, piss
- 27:59them off because they showed winning the game and look like
- 28:02they was pissed off. But I like what I seen.
- 28:04If we can do that every week, win or lose, I'm happy.
- 28:08Yep. All right, I'm going to flip it
- 28:10over here because we we talk about the run, you talk about
- 28:12the punishing runs. But he was 12 for 17219 yards
- 28:16and two touchdowns. And if you look at his season
- 28:19stats, you know, right at 60% throwing the ball over 1500
- 28:23yards, nine TD, 2 picks and Sheldon, I hit you up.
- 28:29And just where is it looking like?
- 28:31What's his favorite parts of the field?
- 28:33Is he, is he lean one way or is it is he is he more of a shotgun
- 28:37type guy where it's all around? What are you seeing when you did
- 28:40that little dive force? Well, I haven't looked
- 28:45specifically at some of the passing directional splits, but
- 28:50I think they're definitely targeting the sidelines.
- 28:53Taking some of those deep shots down field, sort of going away
- 28:55from more towards the middle of the field, I can pull up his
- 28:58directional splits in a second. But you know and and they've
- 29:01also worked, you know, behind the line of scrimmage, the
- 29:03screen game with some of those swing passes to the running
- 29:06backs. So I think the staff has done a
- 29:07good job of you know, making easy throws and and throws that
- 29:12have a very low chance of being intercepted.
- 29:15And as Kyron has built off his previous successes, as he gets
- 29:18more reps and experience, he's able to handle a bigger load.
- 29:22And you've kind of seen the running game open up more which
- 29:24opens up of course passing game two.
- 29:26So I think just a combination of you know easy, simple throws and
- 29:30and get your get your playmakers out in space and go east to West
- 29:33because that's where you know that's where the running backs
- 29:36are at their best. I mean obviously Tech is not a
- 29:38team that can run between the tackles.
- 29:39So you get those guys outside and and in space where they can
- 29:42make plays, that's where they're at their best.
- 29:44Yeah. And Speaking of two guys who are
- 29:46getting outside in space, it was the Quan and Quan show up there
- 29:49Saturday. Daquan Wright, Daquan Felton,
- 29:52both leading the way. Both Felton over 100 yards, did
- 29:58not get a touchdown, but had that 70 yard bomb where they
- 30:01jumped. Kyra knew they jumped and he
- 30:05launched it. That's what a good quarterback
- 30:07does. If you know you're going to get
- 30:105 and there's going to be another play, get it downfield.
- 30:13He dropped a dime on that. And what I loved about that is
- 30:17if you looked at the corner. Like he saw the jump and like,
- 30:20hesitated just a little bit. Quan ran right by him.
- 30:23Drone saw that, put it up there, right on his fingertips, 70
- 30:27yards later. That was a big play, man.
- 30:29And that's just playing together, man.
- 30:30The more you play together, you know what the person on the
- 30:34other end is going to do, you know?
- 30:36That's why, again, we'll talk about it in the state of the
- 30:38program. Big what ifs, you know what I
- 30:41mean? Yeah.
- 30:42Oh, yeah. Oh yeah, And then and then
- 30:44Daquan kind of showed out this We got Daquan's bronze boy,
- 30:48Daquan Ryan, boy 4. Tight in man tight in.
- 30:52Well listen he he Brian has said literally and this goes back
- 30:56years now Daquan Wright is not an 86.
- 30:59Daquan Wright is a good good player and and and he had a good
- 31:04game some that one catch where Kyron put it between guys and he
- 31:09just snatched. It did he catch him with one
- 31:11hand. One hand?
- 31:12What's the full extension? Yeah.
- 31:14And kept going. Yeah.
- 31:17I mean, and it and it just shows you the development of him.
- 31:19It shows you the development of the past game and shells.
- 31:22Have you been able to get those splits yet?
- 31:25Yeah, I'm looking at it right here actually.
- 31:26So what's the split look like? Yeah.
- 31:29So I'm just kind of kind of coming through it.
- 31:33He's drones has been most successful, actually, sort of,
- 31:36between the numbers in that zero to 10 range.
- 31:39So I think that's probably the result of we're seeing some more
- 31:42RPO slants. We saw 1-2.
- 31:45I can't remember who it was the I think the second or third
- 31:47touchdown against BC, whoever ran that that inside slant but
- 31:50in breaking route for the Tuddy. Think it might have been lame,
- 31:54but someone check fact checking on that wide.
- 31:56Eye. Yeah, it was.
- 31:58Guys now. It was guys now, yeah.
- 31:59Yeah, Yeah. So, so they've had success with
- 32:01that, which I think is great to see because you know we haven't
- 32:03always seen. You know the coaching staff that
- 32:06can take advantage of those of those numbers.
- 32:09So and then elsewhere you know he's doing pretty well between
- 32:13the numbers 10 plus yards down the field and also behind the
- 32:17line of scrimmage, you know both to to the field side and also to
- 32:22to the boundary side. So I mean pretty good splits
- 32:25overall nine to two touchdown reception ratio.
- 32:27I mean, I like the numbers and I think the the staff has done a
- 32:30good job of sort of truncating the passing game to where again,
- 32:32you're not, you're not making risky throws, you're just kind
- 32:34of taking. What what the defense gives you
- 32:36and and kind of what suits the strengths.
- 32:38But it's also a thing too. A good coaching staff will
- 32:41effectively you talk about the zero to 10s behind the lines,
- 32:45boundary field, whatever you pepper that somebody makes a
- 32:49mind miss. People come up, they come up,
- 32:52linebackers start turning their heads right, They're going out.
- 32:56Safety start putting their nose. They don't come back.
- 32:59And then you have the plate of Felton and then you have some of
- 33:02those deep bombs. You have the I still love that
- 33:05RPO slant that he threw to lane back there in the weight game
- 33:09because we peppered him and we've been running the ball.
- 33:10Well, he hit that thing and that safety walked up and as soon as
- 33:14he walked up, he pulled, he cocked, he fired.
- 33:18And as soon as you hit his like they ain't nobody back there,
- 33:21he's gone. All right, well, let's talk
- 33:23about the running game, because Kyron carried the load.
- 33:27But base shell tootin, you know, give him his credit as well.
- 33:31You know, 78 yards, not one, not 2-3 touchdowns.
- 33:36What a difference he's made, right Tally?
- 33:38Oh man, they could have. He probably could have had 150.
- 33:41They took him out. You know what I'm saying?
- 33:43He we we need him for the rest of the games.
- 33:45Like he made it a point that the fuck BC up.
- 33:48Like, you know, he was committed to BC and then he's flipped and
- 33:52came here. You know how that is like, we're
- 33:55usually the one who get the revenge games.
- 33:58This these people, they didn't give this kid a chance and like
- 34:01the Boogie Bashrooms and the Daz Newsom's of the world used to
- 34:04fuck us up, you know what I'm saying?
- 34:06It was good to have somebody on our team.
- 34:09They won't let the fuck somebody else up.
- 34:11It was like. That's the third touchdown was
- 34:14an angry run, man. It's just, hey, you could tell
- 34:16it meant something to them, you know what I'm saying?
- 34:19But even more than that, when you talk about, you know, going
- 34:21back to what Curtis said and what Shelton said, you know,
- 34:25peppering different plays and. Like, I hate to use the term
- 34:30fucking people up, but when you keep fucking people up with
- 34:33certain plays, like their eyes are going to start, you know,
- 34:36turning and looking at different things.
- 34:38If you go back to the Malachi Thomas touchdown, him and Felton
- 34:42was slapping hands, walking into the end zone and the the corner
- 34:46or the the linebacker, whoever was on Felton was so scared that
- 34:50he was going to beat them deep. He never turned around to look
- 34:53at the running back. If you go look at that play, he
- 34:56is following Felton all the way to the end zone.
- 34:58He never turns and looks at the running back.
- 35:00So Felton didn't even have to block him.
- 35:04He just ran him off. So when you when you are a
- 35:08threat, when you are a star, you know people have to take notice
- 35:13of you. They have the game plan for you.
- 35:17So somebody like, I know we're going to get the defense like
- 35:19APR, even if he doesn't get another sack.
- 35:23People have to game plan for him.
- 35:26He's on their minds. So they have to run certain
- 35:28plays because he has done what he's done in the past, you know,
- 35:32so we, we haven't had that in some years on offense and
- 35:37defense where people are game planning for our players.
- 35:40So it's crazy to think, man, we still ain't seen this offense at
- 35:44full strength. Like, you know, we ain't even
- 35:46going to start talking about. Next year and all of this stuff,
- 35:50but you still ain't saying that full string.
- 35:52We'll save that for state of the program too.
- 35:54Yeah, definitely. Now Seld, I asked you to look up
- 35:57something inside the 10 yard line because Basial Tootin's
- 36:00three touchdown runs were all inside the 10.
- 36:03And I wanted to find out how good were we last year inside,
- 36:07because in my mind, maybe I'm lying to myself.
- 36:10I felt like we were not a good team inside the 10 yard line
- 36:13last year. You were lying to yourself?
- 36:15Yes. Oh, OK.
- 36:17So the number last year was success rates, so rushing
- 36:22success rate inside the 10 we were about 62% which ranks 19th
- 36:26in the country. So obviously it's a pretty good
- 36:28number. I would say when it comes to you
- 36:31know those types of like field splits, you you you don't want
- 36:35to make too much out of them just because you know most of
- 36:38the issues with sample size, you're kind of, you know, cherry
- 36:40picking one particular segment of the field.
- 36:44You know, it's possible for team maybe doesn't have a great
- 36:46offense, but maybe they get lucky inside of 10.
- 36:47I mean I I saw when I was running the numbers like
- 36:49Northwestern, their offense was terrible last year, but I think
- 36:51they were second in rushing success right inside of 10.
- 36:54So you know make of that what you will.
- 36:56But obviously, you know, you got to, you got to be able to
- 36:59convert when you can and they've done a really good job of that
- 37:02last week. It's pretty simple.
- 37:04Last year you only get down there three times and you scored
- 37:07two times out of the whole year. You know what I'm saying?
- 37:10Like you get down there versus Wofford and Liberty and score.
- 37:13Fuck it. Now you had a good year inside
- 37:16the 10, but we wasn't getting inside the 10 a lot.
- 37:18So that's what the problem was. Well, I'll throw this out to
- 37:21y'all, y'all know who, how many we got this year And I know I'm
- 37:24I gave away. We gave three Saturday.
- 37:27How many we time. We scored inside the 10 yard
- 37:29line this year. Running the ball, just running.
- 37:32How many we got? No, ten.
- 37:34We got 10 touchdowns inside the 10 this year and to me, I know I
- 37:39don't know how it goes to success rate.
- 37:41But when I think of just kind of think of this season offenses,
- 37:44we got one more thing to look at.
- 37:48All right we played ten games. If you can score a bomb on one,
- 37:52a short yardage on one, a medium play on one, that's 21 points.
- 37:58And you know, if you get down there once again.
- 38:01All right, Sheldon, real quick, let's talk about the offensive
- 38:04lines. Give me some good grades, give
- 38:06me some bad grades and give me some snack counts because I felt
- 38:10like we were mixing it up a little bit more in numerous
- 38:13positions. Yeah, so First off to start with
- 38:17the offensive line. A little bit of good, Little bit
- 38:20of bad. Xavier Chaplin was the best
- 38:22grader at left tackle. He was around a 75.
- 38:26Kade Moore, Center, was pretty average.
- 38:29Or Clements a little bit above average.
- 38:31Braylon Moore a little bit below average And then trying to find
- 38:35Clements here. Yeah, Clements just kind of
- 38:37average too. So you know there was some some
- 38:40hit or miss I mean I think and Bob chicken there too with with
- 38:4440 snaps he was right around 62.7 which again is kind of a
- 38:48barely, you know, passing grade. So I think what PFS basically
- 38:52said was it was an OK offensive line performance, really just,
- 38:57you know, it was mostly just drones in tune.
- 38:59Making plays happen and also I think the the wide receiver
- 39:01blocking, at least from what I saw from guys like Felton was,
- 39:03was pretty solid. How much did Brody and how much
- 39:06did Johnny Garrett get? Because I know John, I saw 79 a
- 39:10few times on the field Saturday. Yeah, so Brody played 40 snaps
- 39:14and he was OK and then Johnny Garrett played 17 and he was a
- 39:19little bit, a little bit below average.
- 39:21Nice. Brian, What?
- 39:22What did you take from watching the tape?
- 39:25I I'm it's kind of the the same thing we're we're improving.
- 39:28We're seeing some incremental steps forward in terms of play
- 39:32overall. I think getting Brody in there
- 39:34more has helped a lot with that. He's he's looked pretty good
- 39:38from from what I'm seeing on the tape.
- 39:41But I think more than anything, it's Bowen and Drones really
- 39:45becoming very comfortable with how this offense is flowing
- 39:48right now, and that's opening up a lot, and it's making the
- 39:52offensive lines job a lot easier.
- 39:54Because when you have a running threat and especially now that
- 39:56we've been working the ball outside east to West with the
- 39:58running backs, a lot more, you know drones is really the guy
- 40:01that's attacking up the middle and that's a little bit, little
- 40:03bit more effective with that misdirection than just running
- 40:05like an inside zone with with your running back.
- 40:08So that's where you're seeing some of those additional creases
- 40:11opening up there I think. So that that's helping a lot.
- 40:14And then once you get that happening, you know, you get the
- 40:17safety's creeping up, you get the linebackers kind of keying
- 40:19on the running backs and. I know you've got some
- 40:21additional room to operate in the passing game too.
- 40:23So it's it's all kind of feeding on it on itself right now which
- 40:26is great for us because we're we're seeing some success in in
- 40:29all phases on offense right now all.
- 40:32Righty. Well, that's going to wrap up
- 40:34what went well for the offense. We got to go to the defense.
- 40:37I I know we've got a lot to do on this, but when when we have a
- 40:40good thing, we got to talk about it.
- 40:42And I want to ask Tally, Tally, you sitting there at the house,
- 40:45it's about 11:00. I don't know if you made a
- 40:46sandwich watch a game or not, but they get the ball first.
- 40:51What was your thoughts with the first play of the game, man?
- 40:54Well, you know what? I actually was not at the house
- 40:57making sandwiches. I was on the road going to the
- 41:00casino. My wife was off work.
- 41:03My wife was off work. She's been she.
- 41:06She started a new job at the hospital.
- 41:09She's been working a lot of hours and she was like, hey, I'm
- 41:11off this weekend. We went to a concert Friday
- 41:13night. It was like old school hip hop
- 41:15Twister juvenile. We went to that, yeah, we went
- 41:19to that Friday night. Had a good time, you know, Got
- 41:22home by 10, man. We got home early, we old, went
- 41:26to bed, got up early the next morning, hit the road.
- 41:28So we're on the road to the casino.
- 41:31It's about 3 1/2 hours away and I got my phone sitting down, you
- 41:35know, I got my headphones in and 1st play of the game
- 41:39defensively, fucking Dorian strong with that ugly ass 44 on
- 41:44that I've been talking about for years.
- 41:46It's like. Why are you going to try to
- 41:48throw the ball to my side of the field?
- 41:50You know, he jumps in front of it, dies.
- 41:53I'm like, is he in? Is he out?
- 41:54He was in pick. Hey, we taking it back the other
- 41:58way, you know? So that was exciting, man.
- 42:01That was exciting to be on the road.
- 42:04The defense came, the whole team came to play.
- 42:07But like, it just feels good for Dorian, man, like him being
- 42:10injured last year. I heard somebody talk about it.
- 42:15I can't remember who. On one of the podcasts, I think
- 42:17it may have been Don V talking about, you know, the last time
- 42:21Dorian was in Boston College, he got a pick.
- 42:24You know, when he got the pick, when he was there, he was seemed
- 42:28like he was anxious with the ball.
- 42:29You know, he's looking to the sideline.
- 42:31What do I do? What do I go, no, this, this
- 42:34game, he said I know exactly what to do.
- 42:37You know, you ain't going to throw the ball to my side.
- 42:39I'm going to take the whole team down here.
- 42:41We're going to celebrate. So.
- 42:42That was that was good to see, man.
- 42:44I was ecstatic to watch just him have a great game like that, but
- 42:51the whole team as well. Brian what do you think about
- 42:53that second one when you watched it?
- 42:55I mean that first one you said it tally.
- 42:57He just, he undercut it. He just like I know it.
- 43:01And if listening to him talk, if y'all didn't hear his interview,
- 43:04he was like we saw that play dialed up.
- 43:06As soon as he stuck his like foot in the ground.
- 43:08I knew what he was doing. I just knew what I had to do.
- 43:11LeBron, let's talk about the second one because at that point
- 43:14in time that that had a hurt them because you knew as soon as
- 43:18Castellano throw it, he thought that oh, he's open.
- 43:21I got him. He did not have him because
- 43:25Dorian had inside leverage in good position the whole way down
- 43:29went up made the play ball was a little under thrown.
- 43:32So I mean, and and this is going to, you know, looking at big
- 43:36picture, I mean, Dorian's really had quietly a very, very good
- 43:40season. And I think he's fought like
- 43:43getting things like this, getting on the stat sheet in a
- 43:46meaningful way. I think he's going to be good in
- 43:48terms of like all ACC accolades and things like that.
- 43:51But I mean, he's quietly had a very good year out there at
- 43:54cornerback. Now Sheldon what is the what is
- 43:57the statistics say about him is I mean does the data like his
- 44:01play? Do they not like his play
- 44:03because he does have 3 picks, 5 pass deflection, 16 tackles?
- 44:08What are they saying about his grades?
- 44:11Well, the analytics love Jordan Strong.
- 44:14He's 56 out of all Power 5 cornerbacks this season.
- 44:17I think there's there's about 250 qualified in the year, 48th
- 44:21in coverage. And he has the second best
- 44:24passer rating when targeted among all Power 5 cornerbacks in
- 44:28the country. So right around 14.6, only
- 44:31completing 29% of their passes. And you mentioned the three
- 44:33interceptions the longest pass play he's allowed this season,
- 44:3618 yards. So he's been he's been locked
- 44:39out of coverage the entire season.
- 44:42That is, that is Dan well and that's why we got that's why
- 44:46Shelton's here because Shelton knows where to go, what to look
- 44:50for that's second in the country that's that's impressive really.
- 44:56So is the 18, let's roll off, let's talk about, let's talk
- 45:00about the front seven Nets in a couple ways.
- 45:03This VC Russian attack was ninth in the country, coming in 211
- 45:07yards a game. They went for just 124, their
- 45:10season low, the first time they had been held under 150 since
- 45:15the first game of the season, way back on Labor Day weekend
- 45:18against Northern Illinois. And you know, you take a look at
- 45:22it and something we talked about like if if we can get that
- 45:26stopped and force them to throw, I said three.
- 45:31He threw 2. They were in Prop there.
- 45:35There's ABC fan out there that will tell you that game flow
- 45:38dictated the way this went. Oh, you killed him.
- 45:41If, if, if everybody see that Brian?
- 45:45Killed him that way. Yeah, that was fucking dumb.
- 45:49I mean, game flow, your first play of the game, you threw a
- 45:52pick like you're a running football team and you thought
- 45:55you were going to catch us slipping and say, hey, they
- 45:58hadn't been tested. We going to throw the ball on
- 46:00the first play of the game. No, it didn't work.
- 46:02So your game for was fucked up. That didn't have nothing to do
- 46:04with us. You got your ass beat.
- 46:06Take care of him. Here's what it is.
- 46:10My band said that they abandoned the run after they went down 10
- 46:12and like, I'm watching the tape back and I'm like motherfucker
- 46:17after. After we went down 10, you ran
- 46:19like I think you had like 7 or 8 plays on the next drive and six
- 46:23of them were runs. Shut the fuck up.
- 46:26And they still ran the ball more than they passed it.
- 46:28And 28 to 20. Yeah, people are going to,
- 46:31people are going to cope, you know, They just, they just
- 46:34weren't able to to run the ball or throw the ball like they
- 46:37wanted to. Yep.
- 46:39That's OK. Well, the.
- 46:42Other thing was you told me Castellanos had 46 yards.
- 46:46You could have told me he was under 50.
- 46:48I'd have told you we were going to win the game.
- 46:49It didn't even matter. His biggest was 12 and that was
- 46:52like the second, the second play on that second drive when they
- 46:55scored. That's we we talked about how
- 46:59important it was and it seemed like all game again and I and
- 47:04again I'm I I can't, I can't sit there and break this down.
- 47:07Brian probably could. It looked like similar to
- 47:09Schrader. The run lanes were not there and
- 47:13I know they were down and you can say, but that would even be
- 47:17more of an opportunity for run lanes to open and they just
- 47:19weren't there. Yeah, they just.
- 47:23I mean. I think rolling into the next
- 47:26game, that was a great game to have.
- 47:27Rolling into the North Carolina State game because it's going to
- 47:31be more of the same. I know we're going to get into
- 47:32it a little bit later, but their they knew their strength.
- 47:38I know that their top running back was out, but it's football.
- 47:41Everybody had somebody hurt. I bet safety was out.
- 47:44You know, like, I I love to see fans talk about somebody being
- 47:48injured. You know what I'm saying?
- 47:49Like. Louisville's running back was
- 47:52injured and their backup running back beat the shit out of us.
- 47:55You know it's football. So making me and we we we had
- 48:00arguably our best wide receiver since the second snap of Purdue,
- 48:03so. Let's say our starting tidy in
- 48:05was out before the season. Our probably arguably best wide
- 48:08receiver hadn't played. It's a lot.
- 48:10It's football. Things happen.
- 48:11So they had that number one rusher, which is their
- 48:14quarterback, and he wasn't getting loose.
- 48:17He ran for 46 yards, so. Kudos to the defense.
- 48:20We got to give a shout out to Marv, man, we don't hear his
- 48:23name enough. Like Marv is doing a pretty good
- 48:26job with the defense adjusting. I think somebody may have talked
- 48:29about it last week, talking about wanting to see the
- 48:31adjustments quicker. Was that you, Curtis, or was it
- 48:34Brian? That was me.
- 48:36Yeah. Like there was a whole range.
- 48:39Yeah, that first drive, you know when they went down, because
- 48:42when you talk about game flow, whatever your buddy was talking
- 48:45about Brian, like we went down. We get the pick, we get three
- 48:50points. We're going to talk about that a
- 48:52little later too. And what went bad.
- 48:54Parker Clemens, I'm coming for you.
- 48:57We we get the three points, they get the ball back.
- 49:01I'm in the car. I'm like, this might be a long
- 49:03day. Like we can't get off the field
- 49:05on 3rd downs. They're just quarterbacks just
- 49:09scampering for 10 yards, 8 yards here and they go down and they
- 49:13end up running back, bust a big run on us.
- 49:15They go down and score. It's 7:00 to 3:00 so.
- 49:18We had to make some adjustments, you know, because those running
- 49:22lanes was open in that first drive.
- 49:24So I'm glad to see that our coaching staff is adjusting and,
- 49:31you know, making some game flow adjustments like we did in this
- 49:34game because sometimes I don't be feeling like they can.
- 49:38They know how to do that and they proved me wrong this week.
- 49:40So kudos tomorrow for having the boys ready to go making
- 49:44adjustments on the fly. And we got to say Kudos the
- 49:48Cheetah too. And he got them.
- 49:49Defeat them. D BS Baller.
- 49:51He did that. He did that.
- 49:53I want to also talk about Brian. You said something last week.
- 49:57What do you talk about? If we didn't do it, it was not
- 49:59going to be a fun day tackling. We did that pretty well.
- 50:03We wrapped up pretty good, man. We wrapped up pretty good.
- 50:06Now something I noticed and I asked Sheldon to look us up for
- 50:09us, Sheldon, what were the linebackers?
- 50:10Snap counts and then grades because.
- 50:13I think I saw 38 out there, a lot of 39393838.
- 50:18OK. Yeah, they, they, their numbers
- 50:20shouldn't be that close together.
- 50:22Yeah, they messing this up, I know.
- 50:24What? What we got there?
- 50:25So Tisdale played the most, but he played 34.
- 50:29He was a 56th grade again, probably, I would say probably
- 50:3260 is sort of like passing slash serviceable.
- 50:35So Kelly Lawson played 33 snaps. He was not great.
- 50:39Jane McDonald played 24 and then Jane Keller played 16.
- 50:42So those are the top 4 linebackers.
- 50:44It's good to see McDonald and Keller get in there a number of
- 50:47snaps. That's to me key and that and
- 50:52did what was McDonald's great Just wondering if Keller if
- 50:55Tisdale was a. 50 McDonald McDonald was around A50, so not,
- 50:59not. Great.
- 51:00Not great. But sometimes you don't need to
- 51:02be great. All right, real quick.
- 51:04Special teams. That was one of the best onside
- 51:08kicks I've ever seen in my life. I mean, that thing slid and
- 51:14homeboy did not know what to do. And just Jalen Jones just
- 51:17getting in there to poop. Yep, scooped it up.
- 51:20But let's fire Stu Holt. Y'all that the the the guy on
- 51:25the second line froze, man. He was not expecting that at
- 51:28all. By by the time he reacted, Jones
- 51:30was already in there with the ball.
- 51:32Right and like perfectly angled right past that, the guy on the
- 51:36front line. Like I said, being on the road,
- 51:39man. Sometimes like I'm phone or go
- 51:41out of service or I got to answer a call or something and
- 51:45then I get a text message it it says I think it's Shelton says
- 51:48ballsy call. And I'm like that was a ballsy
- 51:51call. And then I go back and see we
- 51:55fucking kicked our own sidekick. Like, OK, pretty cool.
- 51:59But it was a, it was an executing to your point Brian,
- 52:01it's where it was done. Because you know usually you're
- 52:05going to go more angle with an on psychic not not to sneak up
- 52:08the middle like you said, it froze that guy froze him up.
- 52:12Now one play I know Stally saw because we texted about it, was
- 52:16the lane punt return tally. Did Luke Shields really block
- 52:19that man in the back, or is it just?
- 52:22I'm going to say fuck though. No, he didn't block him in the
- 52:24back, man. It might have been some contact,
- 52:27but he didn't block him in the back, man.
- 52:28He man, let us get the touchdown.
- 52:30Quit playing around. Y'all trying to let them stay in
- 52:32the game. They were going to catch the ass
- 52:35whooping no matter what. They don't need to try to save
- 52:36them. Hey man, good job, man.
- 52:39Karma jumped in there and Lane got that touchdown anyway on
- 52:41that. And so we drive that little.
- 52:44Inside the five touchdown so lots of good all over the place.
- 52:48So let's flip it over real quick.
- 52:50I'm going to try to wrap this up in about 5 minutes here.
- 52:52What went bad? Y'all we we got to start with
- 52:56stoppage. Procedural penalties tally.
- 52:58Go ahead. You said you got to call him
- 53:00out. He had a He had an average game,
- 53:02but that first drive, seeing that play.
- 53:04Parker just stay. It's fourth and one.
- 53:08We are in the red zone, just stay on sides.
- 53:12He was so early. I know he wanted to go do some
- 53:14good. I know he wanted to block
- 53:17somebody and get a first now, but just stay on sides, man.
- 53:21You can't jump off sides and move us back and we got to kick
- 53:25a a field goal there. So yeah, procedural penalties,
- 53:28man. Let's not do that.
- 53:30Don't do that again. Well the bad thing is that we
- 53:33the play actually happened and we got the first down, but it
- 53:35was he was offsides before the play happened, so.
- 53:37Right way outsides all. Right, the other thing, Kyle
- 53:43Lowe quit trying to angle the ball, Kick It Out of bounds.
- 53:47He kicked another one out of bounds.
- 53:48That made me lose my mind. That's the that's the drive they
- 53:53scored on, too. That's the drive they scored on.
- 53:54That is, the drive they scored on started well, kind of, kind
- 53:57of set them up nicely there and they kind of took advantage of
- 54:00that. Now the other thing I'll say in
- 54:03I don't like this. Going into the game this week
- 54:05against NC State, we put the ball on the ground five times.
- 54:08We recovered three of them, two were late in the game.
- 54:12I am hoping this week they are working like hell to everybody
- 54:15keep, stay on the ball because that is not good at all, not
- 54:21good at all. We don't talk about the Grant
- 54:23Wells fumble. We got to talk about the Grant
- 54:24Wells fumble. You don't talk about it, I mean.
- 54:30He doesn't took, he doesn't took enough punishment.
- 54:32Man, he took so much. Grant That's the one we'll say
- 54:35from BCP. Put the ball in your fucking
- 54:37outside arm when you're running. I mean, you had nobody in front
- 54:41of you, nobody around you. You've been playing football
- 54:44long enough. You've probably been doing this
- 54:45since peewee. Switch that ball to the outside
- 54:47arm. So even if it does get punched
- 54:49out, it might just go out of bounce like.
- 54:53He that ball is no way that that ball is supposed to stay on a
- 54:56line and it and and tiptoe down the sideline and go out of
- 54:59bounce in the end zone like that's just not supposed to
- 55:02happen on a straight. You need to on a straight man,
- 55:05Grant. You better say your prayers.
- 55:06I'll. I'll say this man.
- 55:08I can tell that Grant's been running like running like those
- 55:1040s or 50 yard gassers because he hit about 45 yards and he
- 55:15lost all that. All that juice, man.
- 55:18He was quick too man with his with his ankle being bad.
- 55:22I didn't think he was going to have the juice like that like he
- 55:24was getting loose for a minute until the until that old man
- 55:28caught a winning grant like 30 years old.
- 55:30So you know what I'm saying? He about to be us in a couple of
- 55:32years a couple of them beers start catching up with him.
- 55:35He he, he got a little tired and started falling down.
- 55:38But yeah, man, we ain't going to get on Grant too hard.
- 55:40But yeah, you got to you got to put the ball in your outside on
- 55:42him, man. Good read by him, though.
- 55:44I'll give him that read. Very good.
- 55:45Read We. Wanted the 50 Burgle.
- 55:48All right, real quick. I'm going to go through all
- 55:49y'all one thing. You were not prepared for what
- 55:52we were not prepared for, Tally. What I wasn't prepared for.
- 55:56What were you prepared for? Let's see.
- 56:00I wasn't prepared to beat them by fucking 30 points.
- 56:05I wasn't prepared for that. All right, Brian?
- 56:08Yeah. I wasn't prepared for a decisive
- 56:10Rd. victory. I expected us to win that game.
- 56:12I was not expecting us to dominate them cover to cover and
- 56:16make them look, frankly, like a bad fucking football team.
- 56:20Cap. Sheldon anything?
- 56:23Yeah well, I was. I wasn't prepared for how well
- 56:28they limited Castellanos in the run game.
- 56:30I mean if you didn't know he he came into coming to the game he
- 56:35he was the leading rusher and designed rushing yards among all
- 56:38quarterbacks in the entire country.
- 56:39I think he has 695 rushing yards, leads the country, leads
- 56:43Power Five and four Smith's tackles.
- 56:45Leads the entire country in first down runs.
- 56:47Again, this is all among quarterbacks like he he is a
- 56:50very, very good runner with the football and they held him to I
- 56:52think like 2.9 yards per design rushing attempt, like 2929 yards
- 56:57on 10 carries. So they they did a great job on
- 56:59him that was, I mean basically that was the entire game plan
- 57:02'cause we know BC doesn't have the guys outside of him.
- 57:04So the way the way they shut him down was surprisingly
- 57:08unexpected, but pretty nice to see.
- 57:10Very nice. For me it was just the offensive
- 57:12domination, 600 yards. I mean, if you would have told
- 57:15me four. 5500 out of an happy 600 is unbelievable and it's
- 57:18great to see from it All right. Things we got to do moving
- 57:22forward what y'all got. Let's clean up the penalties,
- 57:26all right, We're going to say that every week until we get the
- 57:28get it done. He won't.
- 57:30Stick it up, clean it up. Just not at crazy times, man.
- 57:34You know what I'm saying? Like 4 for one.
- 57:36Don't jump out. Like, I feel like we've been
- 57:38doing that for a while. Jumping off sides on 4th and one
- 57:41no matter whose fault it is, stay on sides.
- 57:44Don't you shut my my thing is protect the damn football.
- 57:49Because when we protect the football, we're a hard team to
- 57:52be. Chilling.
- 57:54You got anything? Yeah, I just, I want to see more
- 57:57from the right side of the offensive line.
- 57:59I mean, there's too many snaps where I think Parker, Parker,
- 58:01Clements is just out there getting cardio.
- 58:04I just, I need, I I need more, man.
- 58:06Bob Chick, I need more. Just need more from y'all.
- 58:09Just got to get more and we'll be, we'll be we'll be grooving
- 58:11there to get that. Tally talked about it, Rex
- 58:15talked about it. Don't change the road routine.
- 58:19Figure out something like that every week.
- 58:20I know we've only got one more Rd. game to go.
- 58:23They may have found something with that.
- 58:26All right. So real quick before we get into
- 58:28Know the Enemy, the NC State Wolfpack, here is a quick
- 58:30message from our digital partners and Main Street
- 58:33Pharmacy. I can probably save you a lot of
- 58:36money and I can take a lot better care of you.
- 58:38That's pretty much it. My name is Jeremy Counts and I'm
- 58:41a pharmacist. I own and operate Main Street
- 58:43Pharmacy here in downtown Blacksburg.
- 58:45My brother's a pharmacist. I'm a pharmacist.
- 58:47My uncle's a pharmacist. My dad's a pharmacist.
- 58:49I remember he would give me M and Ms. to count in little pill
- 58:52counters. This is something I've always
- 58:54done and I'm just lucky that what I know so well is something
- 58:58that I can do and feel good about it and get back to.
- 59:00People. Pharmacies are your frontline
- 59:02defense. Pharmacy's job is to make sure
- 59:04you're getting optimal care. For the lowest price.
- 59:06Possible. Also, we take the pressure off
- 59:09of emergency rooms. I'll tell people immediately
- 59:11when they need to go to the doctor, or I'll tell them if
- 59:13they just need a cream over the counter.
- 59:15If there's something that isn't commercially available, if it's
- 59:18something that's not available in a certain strength or a
- 59:20certain form or anything like that, we'll make it tailor made
- 59:23medications. Some of those options save
- 59:25people a lot of money. What motivates me?
- 59:27I get to take care of people and live in Blacksburg.
- 59:29That's all neat. As we take a quick break.
- 59:34We'd like to tell you about getting your free website report
- 59:37from our digital partner, Grassroots Digital Marketing
- 59:39Studio. They'll tell you how your
- 59:40website ranks on Google, on site SEO and social media.
- 59:44No commitment to buy anything. You can get your free report by
- 59:47visiting grassroots digitalstudio.com/free Dash
- 59:51website Dash Report. Now back to the episode.
- 59:55All right, well, let's hit it up here with Know the enemy for the
- 59:58NC State Wolfpack. And Brian, don't you start us
- 1:00:01out here with the offense led by somebody we're all familiar
- 1:00:05with, Robert and I. Yeah, we are looking at a
- 1:00:09multiple spread option offense that they'll run tempo
- 1:00:12occasionally when they get a a good running play, good good
- 1:00:15first down play there definitely A-Team that's not afraid of the
- 1:00:19trick play. They'll use a heavy use of
- 1:00:22motion to kind of shift gap gap responsibilities and create some
- 1:00:25mismatches in the in the running game and and occasionally in the
- 1:00:29passing game as well. He had a great season in 2021
- 1:00:34with UVA and had some instant success in 2022 at Syracuse.
- 1:00:37But you know, really, he hasn't improved the offensive numbers
- 1:00:43at all here compared to Beck's offense last year at NC State.
- 1:00:48And I mean from a defensive side, I mean, this is a very
- 1:00:52similar offense in terms of strengths and weaknesses that
- 1:00:56we've seen with Syracuse and BC. You know, over the last three
- 1:01:00weeks or so. So you know that that's
- 1:01:02something I think that kind of plays in our favor a little bit
- 1:01:04is that we're kind of familiar with the type of attack we're
- 1:01:07we're expecting to get. All right, Shell, none of this
- 1:01:10team ranks one O 5 in total offense.
- 1:01:12They are not great statistically, but as you
- 1:01:15started doing some breakdown, do they do anything good?
- 1:01:18Is there anything we need to be like?
- 1:01:19If they start doing this, they might have a decent offensive
- 1:01:23day. I mean looking through the
- 1:01:26numbers honestly there's not a lot.
- 1:01:27I'm just you know being real now their opposite line has been OK
- 1:01:32if you want to kind of relay that that segment into it.
- 1:01:35But you know they, they are solid OK in the run blocking
- 1:01:41game. I think they've got a couple of
- 1:01:43good receivers, starting with Kevin Concepcion who again will
- 1:01:46talk about, you know he's he's pretty big on yards after catch,
- 1:01:49so. You know, some decent, decent
- 1:01:52wide receivers. But in terms of just team
- 1:01:54results, I mean, I was looking through the stats today.
- 1:01:56There's just there's just not a lot there.
- 1:01:58I mean, they don't generate a ton of explosive plays either in
- 1:02:00the running game or the passing game.
- 1:02:01You know, their success rate's not great, it's just it's pretty
- 1:02:05bleak for them all around. All righty.
- 1:02:08Well Tally, I'll let you lead off with the first player here.
- 1:02:11Man, the first player we're going to talk about is their
- 1:02:16wide, I mean, their quarterback #5.
- 1:02:19On the stat sheet, number one in Hokey's hearts, Brandon
- 1:02:24Armstrong. Mean he's no stranger to Hokey
- 1:02:27Nation man. He's been playing at UVA
- 1:02:30transferred over to North Carolina State because he got
- 1:02:32tired of losing, getting his ass beat.
- 1:02:34So he thought it'd be better for him to go over there and play.
- 1:02:36He's got 6 touchdowns, 6 interceptions.
- 1:02:42Earlier this season, he got his He got his job, took by.
- 1:02:47Morris. Then Morris decides he wants the
- 1:02:48red shirt. Probably going to transfer, in
- 1:02:51my opinion. I don't know.
- 1:02:52But Brendan Armstrong, man. Red Rocket, what you got?
- 1:02:56What you got on him, Brian? I I call him Brendan arm weak
- 1:03:00because he does not have a very strong arm he he he he cannot
- 1:03:05push the ball down the field very well you know pretty pretty
- 1:03:09decent with with with the intermediate stuff but he's
- 1:03:12probably he's really going to be.
- 1:03:14A design run, scramble, drill that that's his bread and butter
- 1:03:18that that's where he's at his best throwing.
- 1:03:21He's better on rollouts and improv than he is confined to
- 1:03:24the pocket. If we can get him in obvious
- 1:03:27passing situations, that's the better for us.
- 1:03:30He will escape, make plays with his legs.
- 1:03:31Obviously we've seen that. And you know when when he was at
- 1:03:37UVA, remember all them UVA fans joking?
- 1:03:39We got Baby Tebow. Baby T bowl.
- 1:03:42Yeah, he's he's pretty much a worse or smaller Taysom Hill at
- 1:03:46this point. That's really all he is.
- 1:03:48All right. Sean, you got anything on him?
- 1:03:51Yeah, so about middle of the pack.
- 1:03:53As far as PFF grade, he has been a lot better than MJ Morris, who
- 1:03:57really struggled when when he played his four games kind of
- 1:04:01below average passer rating. He has not been as turnover
- 1:04:04prone the last couple years when it comes to interceptions, but
- 1:04:07he does have a case of fumbleitis with 19 total fumbles
- 1:04:11in four years as a starter. So definitely something to keep
- 1:04:14an eye on, especially if he starts.
- 1:04:15If he starts scrambling, he's not running like he used to in
- 1:04:19terms of just the the big running plays and he's and his
- 1:04:22receivers have not done him a ton of favors when when it comes
- 1:04:25to driving passes. In terms of the passing splits
- 1:04:28like Brian was alluding to, the deeper accuracy has been not
- 1:04:32great. As an aside, it was actually
- 1:04:34much worse for MJ Morris. Again, it was arguably the worst
- 1:04:38deep ball passer than type R5 before they made the switch and
- 1:04:40he decided to retro. But still not great for
- 1:04:43Armstrong. And in terms of style stats, NCC
- 1:04:49is much better running play action.
- 1:04:51With Armstrong in there, I think their completion percentage is
- 1:04:54about 17% higher when they're running play action, which is
- 1:04:57one of the biggest differentials in the country compared to when
- 1:05:00they're when they do not run play action.
- 1:05:01So play action, passing a big bread and butter staple for
- 1:05:04them. All righty and to me, when I
- 1:05:07went deep diving through the stats lines this week, they
- 1:05:11really only have one guy who was absolutely leading this team in
- 1:05:17everything stat wise when it comes to receiving.
- 1:05:19That's the true freshman. That's right, I said true
- 1:05:23freshman Kevin Concepcion. He's 511.
- 1:05:26He's 185 pounds. He was a three star out of the
- 1:05:29state of North Carolina in 2023, the 23rd ranked player out of
- 1:05:34Julius Chambers down in Charlotte, NC And so far this
- 1:05:37season's just, statistically speaking, 50 receptions over 570
- 1:05:43yards, little over 11 per catch, 6 touchdowns.
- 1:05:47But that's not all he does right Brian?
- 1:05:50Because they've used him quite a they've used him a few times in
- 1:05:53the run game as well. Yeah, he's got, I think like
- 1:05:56about 20 carries or something on the season.
- 1:05:58He's their primary receiving threat.
- 1:06:02Use a lot on trick plays, use on, use them on jet sweeps.
- 1:06:06They like to even line him up and just run, run zone with him
- 1:06:09as well from time to time. Really good quickness and change
- 1:06:13of direction. Top end speed is good but not
- 1:06:16elite. He's more of a yards after catch
- 1:06:19guy as as Sheldon was alluding to.
- 1:06:22And yeah, I mean he's he's really their primary threat
- 1:06:25outside of the quarterback running the football.
- 1:06:28All righty and Sheldon anything additional on Concepcion?
- 1:06:32Because I mean, to be a true freshman putting up these kind
- 1:06:35of numbers, I mean that's it's not Shatty at all.
- 1:06:39Yeah, he's been, he's been really great.
- 1:06:40Obviously the the slot receiver, the 10th best grader in the ACC
- 1:06:44among receivers now. He is not a big, he is not a big
- 1:06:48yards per catch guy, only around 11, you know playing the slot
- 1:06:51I'm sure has an impact in that. But what he's very good at, as I
- 1:06:55alluded to, is yards after catch.
- 1:06:57He has totaled the 390 yards after catch this season and he
- 1:07:01is also graded as the best pass blocker in the ACC.
- 1:07:05So I guess NC State likes to, you know, pass back with the
- 1:07:08right receivers a little bit. So that's that's one strength of
- 1:07:10the scam as well. Super interesting to see that.
- 1:07:13All right, let's flip because as me and Brian started chatting
- 1:07:16about this skill position wise, we really couldn't find much
- 1:07:22else because there is no other wide receivers on this team.
- 1:07:27And I'm saying this, there's nobody else.
- 1:07:30There's nobody above 200 yards receiving.
- 1:07:33There's no running back above 300 yards.
- 1:07:35I mean, we're we're 10 games in, 10 games into the season.
- 1:07:39That's saying there's nobody that can get 30 yards a game
- 1:07:42from them other than Brendan Armstrong.
- 1:07:43So Brian, I'll let you go with this sort of hodgepodge of who
- 1:07:48else are you thinking of? Because I looked at the injury
- 1:07:50report today and Michael Allen, you know, he got hurt during the
- 1:07:55weight game. And yeah, I mean, they're going
- 1:07:58to use them. Yeah, they're they you know,
- 1:08:00they got some other receivers out there.
- 1:08:02They get very limited targets. Conception's really the guy when
- 1:08:06it comes to the running back. They rotate a bevy of running
- 1:08:09backs in there. The guy to keep an eye on
- 1:08:11probably is going to be Kendrick Raphael.
- 1:08:14He had a pretty decent snap count against Wake.
- 1:08:18He is a freshman, but he's really kind of the guy that the
- 1:08:23the the flavor of the month. He's kind of the guy that's
- 1:08:25getting the most run of late. But expect to see, you know 5
- 1:08:29plus bodies in the backfield including Concepcion at some
- 1:08:32point at the running back position this week.
- 1:08:35That is pretty wild to see. I don't know, Sheldon already
- 1:08:38alluded to just a few minutes ago about their run game.
- 1:08:40Brian talking about pretty good run blocking grade.
- 1:08:43Did the tape kind of. Did the tape kind of say that as
- 1:08:47well? Yeah, I called them above
- 1:08:48average in the run blocking. They do a pretty good job of on
- 1:08:52their double teams, getting to the second level, things like
- 1:08:54that. I called their pass pro very
- 1:08:57mid. I'd.
- 1:08:58I'd call their blitz pick up poor.
- 1:09:00OK, all right. Anything else?
- 1:09:03I know you already mentioned the run grades.
- 1:09:05Anything on the pass pro grades for that offensive line group,
- 1:09:08Sheldon? Yes, exactly what Brian said.
- 1:09:11So in terms of pass protection, they do not have anyone that
- 1:09:14grades particularly highly, none that are awful, but just none
- 1:09:18that are really stand out their highest graded player.
- 1:09:21I'm looking through it here. So Dilnick, man, their center is
- 1:09:26up there. He's, yeah, he kind of took over
- 1:09:31for Lyndon Cooper, who was trucking a little bit.
- 1:09:33They moved him around a couple positions, so he's not starting
- 1:09:36anymore. They got left tackle Anthony
- 1:09:38Bellman started every game. And Anthony Carter, their left
- 1:09:41guard, has played both guard spots.
- 1:09:43He is their worst grade among starters at 58.9.
- 1:09:46Now again, 60 is considered passing.
- 1:09:49So All in all, that's not terrible.
- 1:09:50It's just on the whole kind of a pretty average to maybe slightly
- 1:09:54below average unit. And then they've also got right
- 1:09:58guard Timothy McKay. He's struggled in the past, you
- 1:10:00know, three games or so. And then right tackle Jakarius
- 1:10:03Peak. Started the last three games.
- 1:10:05They switched him over from left tackle, but he did have his best
- 1:10:08game of the season last time out against Wake Forest.
- 1:10:10So again, no real standouts there, but also no guys that are
- 1:10:14really that too bad either. All righty.
- 1:10:17So there it is, some information on the NC State offense and I'm
- 1:10:23going to put this up here just because he's our buddy and he
- 1:10:27does know some people with confirming that Michael is hurt.
- 1:10:30So OK, and that's that's someone who put up some decent stats for
- 1:10:34them this year. Pull it up here real quick.
- 1:10:38Michael Allen had went 52 rushes for 251 yards averaging right at
- 1:10:445A game. So as far as it goes, yards per
- 1:10:47game, him and Kendrick Croft, AL, that you mentioned there,
- 1:10:50Brian, were the leaders there in yards per gaming with the guys
- 1:10:54who got some carries. So that is an interesting turn
- 1:10:56right there. All right, let's flip to the
- 1:10:58other side of the ball because this team is not built on
- 1:11:00offense, it is built on defense. Brian, what are we seeing?
- 1:11:04Yeah, we got the Tony Gibson 335 stack there.
- 1:11:08Super aggressive uses. Pressure and confusion to gain
- 1:11:13advantage over offenses. Lots of disguise coverage.
- 1:11:17Still mostly going to be cover 3, cover one, cover 6.
- 1:11:19But they're they're going to disguise that and.
- 1:11:22Kind of make things look a lot different than what we're used
- 1:11:24to just because of the the nature of the three three fives
- 1:11:27alignment there. And yeah, I mean it's it's this
- 1:11:32is this team lives and dies by their defense.
- 1:11:35They honestly, God do and to me they live and die by one player
- 1:11:38and that is the 6th year. Yes, I said sixth year.
- 1:11:41He was a 2018 commit there a would.
- 1:11:45Just leave. He didn't leave last year.
- 1:11:49His NIL deal must be really big. He must not.
- 1:11:52Well, actually, I'm going to ask pay.
- 1:11:54I'm going to ask Sheldon the question on Peyton Wilson in
- 1:11:56just a second here. He was a top 50 player when he
- 1:11:59came out. He was a four-star, a 97,
- 1:12:01ranking on 247 and so far this year he is a Benderick
- 1:12:06semifinalist. When you get into the to be the
- 1:12:10semi finalists of some of those, your stats are good, your play
- 1:12:13is usually good and so far this season 112 tackles, 12 for loss.
- 1:12:18He added four sacks of that two picks.
- 1:12:21He also scored a touchdown, 6 pass deflection, 2 fumble
- 1:12:25recoveries. He is able to do it all.
- 1:12:27He is everywhere and it's been like that it pretty much his
- 1:12:31entire career. And Brian, why is that?
- 1:12:34It's simply that he's the best player on both sides of the
- 1:12:37football for this team. I mean, he is.
- 1:12:39Probably probably even head and shoulders at this point.
- 1:12:42You know he's the outside linebacker.
- 1:12:43They use them very heavily in blitz packages.
- 1:12:47He's a lot plays, a lot of backside in the run, support on
- 1:12:49the on the weak side. There really good instincts in
- 1:12:52pursuit, really good at kind of working through the shit as it
- 1:12:56as it were. He he, he's able to get through
- 1:12:59there, make plays, doesn't get caught up in blocks and things
- 1:13:03like that very often. Just really good speed as well.
- 1:13:09Kind of tracks the ball well especially in coverage as well.
- 1:13:12So he's he's not really a a liability in coverage like some
- 1:13:15of your linebackers would be All righty the the stats say it.
- 1:13:21Bronze Eye says it. Do the do The deep analytical
- 1:13:24points say he's elite. Yes.
- 1:13:27I mean, there's really nothing that he's not excel at.
- 1:13:29So, fifth highest graded ACC defenders, second best among
- 1:13:33linebackers. He's good in the run defense,
- 1:13:35good in tackling and also excellent in coverage with the
- 1:13:3756 passer rating against, which is really good for a linebacker,
- 1:13:41second in ACC in tackles and also leads to conference and
- 1:13:45stops, which PFF categorizes as a a tackle.
- 1:13:49That is a loss for the defense. He's got a 54 in the year.
- 1:13:52I think the next closest guy is not very close, probably like at
- 1:13:5645. S 9 best.
- 1:13:58The next closest guy's pretty good and obviously he's been in
- 1:14:01college for six years. He's a Buckus Award finalist.
- 1:14:04I'm sorry, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:06There's just, I mean, there's just nothing that he doesn't do
- 1:14:09well. I think what you put, you can
- 1:14:12put up what Robbie said. I think him just being injured
- 1:14:17often is why he probably came back.
- 1:14:19He'll probably have some unfinished business because he's
- 1:14:21been hurt just about every year. So I think that's one of the
- 1:14:25things that brought him back. But next we'll talk about a big.
- 1:14:31Davin Van from what Cary, NC he was class of 2020.
- 1:14:38He was a four-star 247 athlete composite ranking.
- 1:14:45Let's see here. It's kind of weird though when I
- 1:14:47looked up his stuff because he was ranked very high, but his
- 1:14:52offers didn't kind of match up to what his ranking was.
- 1:14:55His biggest offers with North Carolina State and Louisville.
- 1:15:00You know, and then he has a couple other offers kind of
- 1:15:03peppered in there, but they're smaller yet.
- 1:15:06App State, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina,
- 1:15:14Liberty. He may have just got the North
- 1:15:16Carolina offer and decided, hey, that's where he was going to go,
- 1:15:21but it didn't have a lot of big, didn't have a lot of big offers
- 1:15:25coming out of high school from what I can see.
- 1:15:29Let me see here had another stat for you, but we'll just start to
- 1:15:33Brian. Brian, what you got on him?
- 1:15:36Yeah, I mean he's another very strong run defender.
- 1:15:39I really like what he does. He's a very versatile player.
- 1:15:42He's ADN, but they'll kind of line him up all across the
- 1:15:44interior there from A5 all the way to a a shade or a one.
- 1:15:48So you can really kind of do everything.
- 1:15:51I'd. I'd say he's probably an average
- 1:15:54pass rusher overall, but he will occasionally flash and he's
- 1:15:56really good at collapsing and pressing the pocket.
- 1:16:00All righty, Callie, did you? I got the stat line pulled up
- 1:16:06here. What was catching your.
- 1:16:07Do you recall I got the stats pulled up here?
- 1:16:12I mean, he's got like 34 tackles, 5 1/2 sacks this year.
- 1:16:16Yeah, that's what it was. I was looking at his at his
- 1:16:19sacks, just kind of seeing what his sacks was.
- 1:16:22Yeah, 5 1/2 of this year leading the team.
- 1:16:24So I mean pretty daggone good on that end.
- 1:16:27And again, it's another good player.
- 1:16:30Again high rank and I think probably it's what you said to
- 1:16:32Alec, probably got committed early and just stayed there.
- 1:16:35That's where he wanted to play carries not far from Raleigh, I
- 1:16:38can tell you. Well, that's what Robbie said.
- 1:16:40He said. Yeah, he said the school isn't
- 1:16:42that good, I guess so. Probably didn't have a lot of
- 1:16:44people coming there to look at it, you know.
- 1:16:47All righty. Shout out to Robbie.
- 1:16:52Shout out to Robbie Robbie. I'm probably filling in the gas
- 1:16:56for us. I always love it.
- 1:16:57Exactly, exactly. All right, one more player we're
- 1:17:00going to look out here, and that is the cornerback, Aiden White.
- 1:17:05Aiden White, a 2022 All ACC cornerback.
- 1:17:08And I mean if you take a look last year at what he did, he was
- 1:17:12really good with 46 tackles, 4 picks, 9 pass deflection.
- 1:17:16So real deal. He was a three star 88 when he
- 1:17:20came out of Christ School down in Arden, NC, a top 20 player in
- 1:17:24the state of North Carolina that year and this year he ain't
- 1:17:28shabby either, 27 tackles, he's got 2 picks already, 7 pass
- 1:17:34deflections in nine games. So he has missed a game this
- 1:17:37year and again to me, probably a guy who's probably going to
- 1:17:42leave after this year after having these two really good
- 1:17:45back-to-back years for NC State. Brian, what's the tape telling
- 1:17:48you on him? Yeah, he's a he's a very
- 1:17:50balanced corner, really good at playing the run in the past, not
- 1:17:54afraid to stick his head in there and make a play in the run
- 1:17:56game. Pretty sure tackler for a
- 1:17:59cornerback. In terms of coverage.
- 1:18:02I like him more in man than in zone, but he's he's not a
- 1:18:05slouching zone either and he plays a lot longer than his 6
- 1:18:09foot height. Even when he's covering tall
- 1:18:11receivers he's he's high pointing the ball, well, he's
- 1:18:14getting the ball out of their hands.
- 1:18:16So you're not going to create a lot of mismatches against him
- 1:18:18even though he's you know 6 foot or probably more like 511 in the
- 1:18:24in the in the shoes there. So really good cornerback.
- 1:18:28Definitely someone you don't want to test too often.
- 1:18:31All righty. So that kind of wraps up the
- 1:18:33players we're going to look out there, and now what we're going
- 1:18:35to look at, we're going to take a look at the Hokie keys to
- 1:18:37victory, things that each of us feels like has to happen
- 1:18:40Saturday for the Hokies to get the win.
- 1:18:42And since he's been quiet for a few minutes here, Sheldon,
- 1:18:45what's your key on this? What do the Hokies have to do,
- 1:18:48or what do we have to prevent NC State from doing?
- 1:18:53I would say just defensively, you know, don't allow successful
- 1:18:58run plays on 1st down. I mean I feel like I kind of say
- 1:19:00that a lot, but it really is true.
- 1:19:02Like so much of football is just predicated on 1st down success,
- 1:19:05like first down is there to set up second down, which is there
- 1:19:09to ideally set up third down. So if you're successful on 1st
- 1:19:11down, ideally that's going to set you up for more success on
- 1:19:14the later downs. And I think when you look at NC
- 1:19:16State's offense, they their their inability to generate
- 1:19:19explosive plays. Is going to make it very
- 1:19:22difficult for them to continue with drives if they are behind
- 1:19:26the sticks on 2nd down. So you know just take care of
- 1:19:30business on those early downs and I think they'll be good.
- 1:19:32I think, you know, defensively, I I, I don't have any too too
- 1:19:37many concerns about, you know, tech's ability to, you know, get
- 1:19:39a few points on the board. But just take care of business
- 1:19:42on those early downs and they'll be cooking.
- 1:19:44All right, bro, What do you got? Yeah, and this'll you know
- 1:19:48playoff of Sheldon's. I I I think early success on on
- 1:19:51both ways. If we're if we're successful on
- 1:19:53early downs on offense we're getting you know solid plays on
- 1:19:571st down. I think that bodes well for us.
- 1:20:00Sheldon mentioned it earlier, they're most successful in the
- 1:20:03passing game off play action if you're holding them to.
- 1:20:08No gain or short gain on 1st down play.
- 1:20:11Action becomes less of a factor in their offense, so success on
- 1:20:14early downs is definitely going to be the key on both sides.
- 1:20:17All right. What you got, Tally?
- 1:20:19Man, somebody put it up earlier too.
- 1:20:23I can't remember who put it up in the comments, but just still
- 1:20:26a possession, you know, special teams.
- 1:20:29We had a onside kick. Do that again.
- 1:20:32If we need it, you know, fake pun.
- 1:20:34If we need it, like find a way to steal a possession from him,
- 1:20:37you know, because that's we got to have some kind of success
- 1:20:40besides just being able to. It is Robbie.
- 1:20:44I should have knew who it was. Continue special teams
- 1:20:47surprises, you know, like we got to find a way to steal a
- 1:20:51possession from them because they're going to come in and
- 1:20:54they're a good team. But guess what?
- 1:20:56They're coming into our house and we need to beat them.
- 1:20:58So let's do that. Steal a possession, is what I
- 1:21:00say. All righty, I'm kind of with
- 1:21:05you. But on the opposite side, don't
- 1:21:06let them steal the possession. Protect the football at all
- 1:21:09costs. They are one of the best ball
- 1:21:11Hawking, forcing turnover teams in the country.
- 1:21:15I don't lie, back it up there, #5 in the country, they have
- 1:21:19taken the ball away 20 times this year, 20 times in 10 games.
- 1:21:25That means they're getting 2 turnovers every game.
- 1:21:28We we we give it up two times. That ain't going to be good at
- 1:21:31all. They have 14 picks and they have
- 1:21:344-6 fumbles. We protect the ball and we play
- 1:21:38clean. I don't think their offense is
- 1:21:41good enough to continue to drive the ball.
- 1:21:43And I think we've got enough playmakers because we've got
- 1:21:46more than one where I think we can score some points.
- 1:21:49So what does that lead to? Well, at least the prediction
- 1:21:53time, and that's brought to you by big screeners.

- 1:22:34records, but let's start with the hokey stuff first.
- 1:22:38We'll go reverse here. Brian, you start us off, all
- 1:22:44right. I don't think that's the order.
- 1:22:46I think I had Sheldon leading off.
- 1:22:47Oh, Sheldon. We're we're starting with Vt.
- 1:22:54Yep, Yep. Tech game.
- 1:22:55What do you think? What's?
- 1:22:56Your Yeah, yeah, I've got, I've got the Hokies.
- 1:22:59I think this is a big Senior Day opportunity.
- 1:23:02I think a win against a good team like Into State would
- 1:23:04validate a lot of the work that Tech has put into their
- 1:23:06improvement this season. And I think they are just due
- 1:23:09for a win against a really solid opponent.
- 1:23:11So I've got Tech all. Right.
- 1:23:13Who's next? Brun, it's me, OK?
- 1:23:16It's me. Who do you got?
- 1:23:18I got the Hokies man. I think this is like like
- 1:23:22Sheldon said, this is a big opportunity to kind of prove
- 1:23:24yourself against a quality opponent.
- 1:23:26I feel like we've ratcheted up our play against.
- 1:23:30You know we've we've we've seen some of the bottom end of the
- 1:23:32ACC. We've seen like a couple of them
- 1:23:34kind of the middle of the pack ACC teams.
- 1:23:36This is kind of flirting with the with the top half there,
- 1:23:40Let's see how we do. But I think we can pull it off.
- 1:23:42I think it's going to be a big day for the defense shutting
- 1:23:46down that that horrible NC State offense.
- 1:23:48I think the offense on our side is going to do enough to pull
- 1:23:52out a victory there. I've got the Hokies on on this
- 1:23:55one. It's going to be tight there at
- 1:23:57the end, but it's going to be 2724 Hokies.
- 1:24:01All righty. Yeah.
- 1:24:01So you got me here next and I'm not far behind you, Brian.
- 1:24:07I do think the Hokies win this game and I think it's more of
- 1:24:10predicated on the NC State offense because I think we we
- 1:24:15see the Hokies and there's been one game this season where we
- 1:24:19struggled to move the ball. That was Louisville game.
- 1:24:22Every other game we have moved the ball, and even as good as
- 1:24:25the NC State defense is, I think we're going to pop them three or
- 1:24:28four times while we win this game in My prediction, 2716 is
- 1:24:32because I think eventually that defense is going to wear out.
- 1:24:36And being Hokies fan, we saw, we've seen that how many times
- 1:24:39in the past where offense can't do anything three and out or get
- 1:24:43a first down and then immediately go three and out
- 1:24:46right after and I think we win the game. 2716, it's not going
- 1:24:51to be just the 21 nothing and it's over in the first half sort
- 1:24:55of a slow grind and by the fourth quarter their defense is
- 1:24:58so gassed, especially the way they blitz.
- 1:25:02Like Robbie said, also protect drones because they're going to
- 1:25:05bring the pressure. You see this one playing out
- 1:25:08more like Wake. Yeah, you could say kind of like
- 1:25:13Wake. Yeah, kind of like Wake.
- 1:25:16Just with Wake, it was more we just kept in in engulfing them
- 1:25:20on offense, on defense, more and more and more where I think this
- 1:25:25is going to be a little vice versa.
- 1:25:28Well, it's up to me, huh? Man, y'all know how we are, man.
- 1:25:33We all ride together. Here at BCP.
- 1:25:35We got everybody. We picking the Hokies to win
- 1:25:38except me. I'm picking NC State.
- 1:25:40I got to fade the Hokies. I have to go back and look at my
- 1:25:44record. It's been very bad this year,
- 1:25:46but most of the time when I fade the Hokies, they win.
- 1:25:49So I'm saying I'm the reason that they winning.
- 1:25:52Every time I fade them they come out and prove me wrong.
- 1:25:55So bulletin board material, it's been fade tally all year the
- 1:26:00Hokies are playing. Tally Tally's fat ass face on
- 1:26:03the board saying we going to lose, let's go win.
- 1:26:08All righty, Tally going NC State.
- 1:26:11He ain't going back to prediction.
- 1:26:12He's just saying NC State go win.
- 1:26:14So we can. So we have some bulletin board
- 1:26:16material for the guys. Take.
- 1:26:19Get up there, get up close to the camera.
- 1:26:21Big smile so they can get your picture tomorrow, all right?
- 1:26:25Well, as always, we always have other big screeners as well
- 1:26:28because we watch all sorts of college football all weekend and
- 1:26:32Tally, you are leading us off this week.
- 1:26:34What is your big Screener of the week?
- 1:26:37I got Louisville and Miami. That is pretty much a pick, Em.
- 1:26:44I don't know why because I think Louisville's going to beat them.
- 1:26:47I know they're going to Miami to to play, but I got Louisville
- 1:26:51taking this game. All righty, Sheldon, what about
- 1:26:54you on this one? Yeah, I'm taking Louisville.
- 1:26:57I don't think Miami is as bad as people think they are.
- 1:27:00Although their quarterback Tyler Van Dyke had a weird quote on
- 1:27:03Twitter that kind of blew up and maybe got a little bit
- 1:27:05misinterpreted by their fan base.
- 1:27:06So there's not a the the scene is not great in Miami right now
- 1:27:09from, you know, behind the scenes perspective.
- 1:27:11So I'm. I'm going Louisville.
- 1:27:15All righty, Bryan. Yeah, I'm going Louisville here.
- 1:27:17I feel like, you know, I mean it's still early but the
- 1:27:20pitchforks are already starting to come out for crystal ball a
- 1:27:22little bit. I don't I I still think it's
- 1:27:25early. I think he needs a a couple more
- 1:27:26years to to fix that culture. He's getting the players.
- 1:27:30It's going to take some some more time to kind of turn that
- 1:27:33thing around this. So I I don't think they're quite
- 1:27:36there yet. I think Louisville takes this
- 1:27:37one. Yep, and I'm still trying to
- 1:27:40figure out why. It's a half point.
- 1:27:42I'm with y'all on Louisville. If you look at the injury report
- 1:27:45this week, the biggest loss is Henry Parrish.
- 1:27:48One of the kind of the 1-2 back combos down in Miami probably
- 1:27:51will not play. For this game, he got hurt in
- 1:27:54the Florida State game and to me that's a big loss, especially
- 1:27:59against Louisville and especially against the way they
- 1:28:02pass. And we saw how that works
- 1:28:04straight up. So yeah, across the board, give
- 1:28:06us the red, even though Louisville is not ground Rd.
- 1:28:12Listen, I think there's a part of us.
- 1:28:14I think the reason probably Tally chose this game was
- 1:28:16because if Louisville does get upset, we're back in play.
- 1:28:22We're back in play. We We still need UNC to beat
- 1:28:24Clemson and win out, but we're back in play.
- 1:28:28Back in play. All righty.
- 1:28:30I am the next one here and I'm going way out West for a 730
- 1:28:34game out in Corvallis. A scary place to play for any
- 1:28:38top ranked team and that's what's going to be the
- 1:28:40Washington Huskies versus the Oregon State Beavers.
- 1:28:44And Oregon State is getting the 2 1/2 line at home and.
- 1:28:50And I know Oregon State's having a great season.
- 1:28:52They're eight and two. DJ is resurrected.
- 1:28:55Clearly DJ wasn't a problem in Death Valley.
- 1:29:00But in this case, I think what's helping Washington, because I am
- 1:29:04picking Washington, Give me the points for the number five team
- 1:29:07in the country. The reason I'm picking them is
- 1:29:10that was a scare from Utah last week.
- 1:29:13Good teams get scared. Usually the next week against a
- 1:29:16team who's not quite as good as them, they put it on them.
- 1:29:18That's why I'm going with the the Huskies.
- 1:29:21What you got, Tally? Yeah, I'm going to go Huskies as
- 1:29:24well because anytime I go against them, they come out and
- 1:29:27win. So they've had a lot of close
- 1:29:30games, but they keep winning there.
- 1:29:32You go, Shelton. Yes, I'm going Huskies.
- 1:29:40I just. I like their offense, I like
- 1:29:42Michael Pennix, and I don't think Oregon State has the the,
- 1:29:46the firepower to keep up all. Right Brown brother.
- 1:29:50Yeah, I'm riding with the the Husky as well.
- 1:29:52I think Phoenix is going to take care of business and it's it's
- 1:29:57going to be a tight one but I think they pull it out.
- 1:30:00Got them winning out right here all.
- 1:30:02Right. Tight one for big peanuts.
- 1:30:06You know you hate when that happens, right?
- 1:30:08Or you love when that happens. I don't know.
- 1:30:09Depending. On what's yours for this week.
- 1:30:15All right. I had to go with the the battle
- 1:30:17of Kansas. Here we got K State, Kansas.
- 1:30:22You know what that line is 8. And to me that's just that's a
- 1:30:27little too much for me. So I'm taking Kansas here.
- 1:30:30I think it's. I think Kansas State's going to
- 1:30:32win the game, but I think it's going to be more like a six or
- 1:30:36seven point win. I think the eight is just a
- 1:30:38little too much for my liking. Yeah, and I'm with you, the
- 1:30:42Sunflower Showdown there at Kansas State.
- 1:30:48I'm taking Kansas as well. I think that's too much.
- 1:30:50I think Lance Leopold's too good of a coach.
- 1:30:52I think it's too big of a rivalry.
- 1:30:55So I think again, I I lean Kansas State.
- 1:30:59But it's one of those anytime you feel sometimes it's just
- 1:31:03certain coaches, right? You don't give that coach that
- 1:31:06many points. That man knows how to coach and
- 1:31:08motivate. I think Kansas hangs in there,
- 1:31:12but I do think Kansas State eventually does win the game
- 1:31:19tally. Man, I got to go K State, man.
- 1:31:24Leopold's probably about to get out of there.
- 1:31:26Hell, I know somebody. All these jobs coming up and
- 1:31:28somebody's going to try to come take him.
- 1:31:30He might be looking. He might be looking.
- 1:31:33To to somewhere. I don't know.
- 1:31:34SEC. Anyway, he might be looking for
- 1:31:36some more money. K state.
- 1:31:38I got them winning this one all right.
- 1:31:43Yeah, I'm taking K State. I just.
- 1:31:45I just don't like the way Kansas has been playing the past few
- 1:31:47weeks. And by contrast, Kansas State
- 1:31:50has been kicking the butt. They just ran Baylor out of town
- 1:31:52last week, so I think the Cats are hot.
- 1:31:55All right, there we go. Just going to throw some other
- 1:31:57ones up here from some of the folks listening out there
- 1:32:00tonight. That's on the Miami game.
- 1:32:02Got a couple on there since Tally brought it up.
- 1:32:06Be sure that everyone on on social media, on Twitter, on
- 1:32:09Facebook, do not share coaches going elsewhere stories without
- 1:32:16checking the veracity of the information first.
- 1:32:20There's a bunch of folks that already got bit on two or three.
- 1:32:23Different scenarios. They did shout out the drift.
- 1:32:29All righty, Sheldon. Where are you going this week
- 1:32:32for your big Screener, Sir? I'm going UNC Clemson.
- 1:32:36I think it's gonna be a really good game to me.
- 1:32:38People have overreacted to Clemson this year.
- 1:32:41I think they're. I still think they're a good
- 1:32:42team despite their win loss record.
- 1:32:45I think that UNC has a better quarterback, even though Clemson
- 1:32:49has a better overall team. I've got Clemson to win, but UNC
- 1:32:54will cover. Like Clemson wins UN CS cover.
- 1:32:58Brian, what are you doing with this one in Death Valley on
- 1:33:00Saturday? I'm going the exact same way
- 1:33:04that Shelton is going there. I've got Clemson winning, but
- 1:33:07I've got UNC covering. That's coming down to the wire.
- 1:33:11Probably about a three or four point win there for the Tigers.
- 1:33:15All righty. And I am next on this one.
- 1:33:19I don't know who's going to win, but I like, I like you, said
- 1:33:23Shelton a little earlier. Drake May's the better
- 1:33:24quarterback, even though the Clemson's the better overall
- 1:33:27team. Give me Carolina.
- 1:33:30I'll take the six and a half and probably a very entertaining
- 1:33:34game tally, tally. Yeah, I got to go Clemson on
- 1:33:37this one, man. You know Devo people like, I
- 1:33:41mean what's she up to start it out with Clemson?
- 1:33:42They they they they they're rebuilding.
- 1:33:44But Devo is a good coach, man. He's going to put up that
- 1:33:47material about everybody talking about how sorry they is and I
- 1:33:49think that he knows UNC is a a pretty good team.
- 1:33:53So I think he's going to go and pull out all the stops and try
- 1:33:55to get a big win here. All righty.
- 1:33:59There we go, UNC, for our hopes. All right, all right.
- 1:34:03Some people like liking Clemson in this one.
- 1:34:06All right, there is one more, and I think we're going to
- 1:34:09probably start as this is the official beginning.
- 1:34:13Or the eve of eight week, we're going to be picking the UVA Duke
- 1:34:18game with Duke laying 3 1/2 points.
- 1:34:24Come back next week, it'll be a lot more vitriol.
- 1:34:27But Brian, what you got on this one?
- 1:34:30I got Duke winning because, you know, fuck UVA.
- 1:34:37I got Duke winning. I got Duke covering.
- 1:34:40I don't know why this line is 3 1/2.
- 1:34:43If Riley Leonard's playing, that's great.
- 1:34:45I've seen Duke's defense. It's going to be able to take
- 1:34:49UVA down enough, and if you really want to know why, they're
- 1:34:52going to win. UVA One of the worst rushing
- 1:34:54defenses in the country, Duke goes for about 195 to 200 on the
- 1:34:59ground tally. Yeah, I got to go.
- 1:35:02Duke, man. I mean, UVA is playing pretty
- 1:35:06decent ball with everybody. They play, they're playing
- 1:35:08everybody close. But when it comes down to it,
- 1:35:11they just can't pull out a win in most of the game.
- 1:35:13So when you look at a line like 3 1/2, I just think Duke's going
- 1:35:17to beat them by a touchdown. All right, Shelton.
- 1:35:23Well, I finally got a a game right involving UVA.
- 1:35:25I've had an insufferable time picking them against the spread
- 1:35:28this year. I I got it right last week and I
- 1:35:31will take Duke this week. I think Duke is a good team.
- 1:35:35I think UVA, they they've had some moments, but I think
- 1:35:37they're going to fall back to Earth.
- 1:35:39All righty fallen back earth to last week and then hitting the
- 1:35:43ground hard the week after that boys.
- 1:35:47Anything coming out on Twitter, social media?
