A slick Facebook Marketplace scammer allegedly swindled over $13,000 in just six months, selling fake electronics, fishing gear, and collectibles across the North Island under multiple aliases. Operation Camrose led to his arrest in Arkles Bay — a 42-year-old man now facing 22 counts of deception plus other charges — with court set for January 2027.
