Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Mystery solved, The surprise chip is out and we'll have
- 0:03Speaker 1: an assistant manager to score us points. We discuss how
- 0:06Speaker 1: it will impact the game and our teams. We play
- 0:08Speaker 1: a game of buy, sell and hold, and there's a
- 0:10Speaker 1: lot of love for the Bournemouth attack. Dun Dun, Dunn.
- 0:18Speaker 1: We've got another game week around the corner. But FPR
- 0:21Speaker 1: Pod is back with some Well it's not really breaking
- 0:24Speaker 1: news anymore because the news broke yesterday. At last we
- 0:27Speaker 1: know what the mystery chip is going to be. Welcome
- 0:31Speaker 1: back as always. We're here on a Thursday, myself, Kelly
- 0:34Speaker 1: Summer's guine and Lebron and Sam Bonfield to preview game
- 0:37Speaker 1: week fifteen. But we do have to start by talking
- 0:40Speaker 1: about that huge news. Our WhatsApp went crazy. Imagine if
- 0:43Speaker 1: you're listening to this, your WhatsApps with your friends or
- 0:45Speaker 1: your mini leagues. Everyone was going crazy saying what is
- 0:49Speaker 1: this mystery chip? Firstly, Sam and Jawles, I'll say hello
- 0:51Speaker 1: to you because I've got a long bit of information
- 0:54Speaker 1: to read about this chip. Jules firstly, the most enthusiastic
- 0:58Speaker 1: man I know about this chip.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Firstly, I know hello everyone, best best introduction you've ever had,
- 1:04Speaker 2: can you do that a little jingle?
- 1:05Speaker 3: Again?
- 1:08Speaker 1: I'm not sure it was meant to be dramatic.
- 1:10Speaker 3: All right, Okay, Okay, there it works. I love this chip.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I think he's great one.
- 1:16Speaker 2: It's always great when you've got something new in a
- 1:18Speaker 2: game and people like their routines. So I understand some
- 1:21Speaker 2: who don't like new things, but I think we should
- 1:23Speaker 2: all be excited when there's something new in the game
- 1:26Speaker 2: that we love so much, and we spend so much
- 1:28Speaker 2: time talking about and working on and enjoying and playing.
- 1:31Speaker 3: So that's the one thing.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And really, if you look about it, if you think
- 1:34Speaker 2: about it, the only thing that was missing. Really, you
- 1:36Speaker 2: could pick any players that you wanted. You could have
- 1:39Speaker 2: all the combinations of three players per cleb et cetera, acceptera.
- 1:42Speaker 2: The only thing that was missing from the game was
- 1:44Speaker 2: the presence of managers, proper managers on top of us
- 1:47Speaker 2: being the FBL managers. So it makes a lot of
- 1:49Speaker 2: sense that now they've integrated real managers within a manager leagues.
- 1:55Speaker 1: I don't know how to take that, Sam that Jews
- 1:57Speaker 1: doesn't think we're proper managers.
- 1:58Speaker 2: No, we are, but I think you earn as much
- 2:01Speaker 2: money as on a slot, but you might not and I.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Wouldn't be here. Yeah, I should have actually confirmed. Joways
- 2:08Speaker 1: has just revealed it though, if you hadn't heard. The
- 2:10Speaker 1: chip is called the Assistant Manager Chip. It was revealed
- 2:13Speaker 1: on Wednesday. We've been waiting, We've known it was probably
- 2:16Speaker 1: going to be sometime now. It does basically just mean
- 2:18Speaker 1: FPL managers will be able to select a REMI league
- 2:21Speaker 1: manager of their choice, and then the manager will score
- 2:24Speaker 1: us FBL points. It will, of course be a lot
- 2:26Speaker 1: more complicated than that. Salmon will come to it in
- 2:28Speaker 1: a moment. But as someone that's played the game for
- 2:31Speaker 1: many years now and it's kind of made a bit
- 2:32Speaker 1: of a career out of it, you're part of FPL family,
- 2:35Speaker 1: what was the reaction in your house when you found
- 2:36Speaker 1: out about this chip.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I think whenever there's something new that comes, it takes
- 2:41Speaker 4: a little bit of time, doesn't it for you to
- 2:43Speaker 4: kind of look at what does it actually mean, Like
- 2:45Speaker 4: there's an excitement that comes with something new, and then also, okay,
- 2:48Speaker 4: what does this mean for my strategy? What does this
- 2:51Speaker 4: mean for my plans? Because normally we would get anything
- 2:54Speaker 4: new that gets added to the game, usually it comes
- 2:56Speaker 4: pre season so you're kind of planning for it at
- 2:59Speaker 4: the same time, how much you're thinking about, Oh, I
- 3:01Speaker 4: might use my triple captain here, I might use my
- 3:02Speaker 4: wild card here. And we've been saying for weeks, haven't
- 3:05Speaker 4: we on here? When we know what it is, we'll
- 3:07Speaker 4: then have to start readjusting plans. So last night there
- 3:11Speaker 4: was a lot of conversation about the mystery tchip in
- 3:14Speaker 4: our house and a lot of when should it go?
- 3:15Speaker 4: When's the best place to play it? Could it actually
- 3:18Speaker 4: be the most valuable chip.
- 3:20Speaker 1: In the game now?
- 3:22Speaker 3: Sure?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:23Speaker 4: And where should therefore we put it? Should we be
- 3:26Speaker 4: prioritizing it across a double game week? Should we be
- 3:29Speaker 4: moving it towards the back end of the season when
- 3:32Speaker 4: we know that teams have got lots to fight for
- 3:34Speaker 4: and there's more on the line for some of these managers.
- 3:37Speaker 4: I think it could be so divisive one of the
- 3:41Speaker 4: things I did.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Yet last night.
- 3:42Speaker 4: You'll enjoy this, Kelly, because this is how sad I
- 3:45Speaker 4: am is I worked out So obviously, when the articles
- 3:49Speaker 4: came out from the Premier League yesterday about it, one
- 3:51Speaker 4: of them was talking about how many points a manager
- 3:55Speaker 4: would have got so far in their best three combined
- 3:59Speaker 4: game weeks Eriola at Bournemouth was sitting there at the
- 4:01Speaker 4: top and I was like, right, okay, forty seven points
- 4:04Speaker 4: he would have got. Where would I be sitting had
- 4:06Speaker 4: I got those forty seven points Because this isn't like
- 4:08Speaker 4: the triple Captain chip where you'd have got the double
- 4:11Speaker 4: points anyway, So it's just a few that get added
- 4:13Speaker 4: on top. This is like completely separate from the things
- 4:17Speaker 4: you would have got so far, and it would have
- 4:19Speaker 4: moved my rank up to one hundred and forty seven
- 4:21Speaker 4: k had I had those points in the bag.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But what wouldn't everyone else.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Have had the bost exactly?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Oh well, I suppose we can all use it at
- 4:27Speaker 1: different points, different points and different managers. And so so
- 4:30Speaker 1: my point is, I guess, is that if you'd have
- 4:31Speaker 1: played it on Martin, for example, you'd have the best
- 4:34Speaker 1: you'd have got. The moon is twelve.
- 4:35Speaker 4: So there's that's a huge difference. That's massive that you
- 4:39Speaker 4: can add. You can add them to your score. Now
- 4:42Speaker 4: that can massively move your rank, and I think at
- 4:44Speaker 4: this point in the season that's what we're all after, right,
- 4:47Speaker 4: We're all after something that can massively change rank. And
- 4:49Speaker 4: we know that chips can do that, but this chip,
- 4:53Speaker 4: because it's not going to be something that you can
- 4:55Speaker 4: cover points from somebody else. It's not like you go, well,
- 4:58Speaker 4: you know, I would have got double points for Sala.
- 5:00Speaker 4: So if I've not triple captain dim and my friend has,
- 5:03Speaker 4: it's not going to be quite as massive.
- 5:06Speaker 1: The choice of.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Manager and the point in which you play it is
- 5:10Speaker 4: so huge that the rank game can be massive.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So we've all had time to dissect it now, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: I can imagine people are listening to this, maybe on
- 5:16Speaker 1: the tube, maybe in the car, maybe at home, with
- 5:18Speaker 1: so many questions just from what you just said there, Sam,
- 5:20Speaker 1: So let's outline a little bit more about this chip.
- 5:23Speaker 1: In case you haven't read the article on the Premier
- 5:25Speaker 1: League website, I would alert you to that article because
- 5:27Speaker 1: it's really good. It's really detailed and it kind of
- 5:29Speaker 1: breaks it down and answered all of mine is your questions,
- 5:32Speaker 1: So do head over to the Premier League app or
- 5:34Speaker 1: Fantasy dot Premier League dot com to read it. But
- 5:36Speaker 1: I'll try and kind of outline as many of the
- 5:39Speaker 1: key points about this chip as possible because we know
- 5:41Speaker 1: there's a lot of questions. So it's called the assistant
- 5:44Speaker 1: Manager chip. As I said before, you'll be able to
- 5:46Speaker 1: select a Premier League manager of your choice and then
- 5:49Speaker 1: that manager will score you FPL points. This chip will
- 5:52Speaker 1: become available from game week twenty four, so we've got
- 5:55Speaker 1: a few weeks to wait.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yet.
- 5:56Speaker 1: When you activate it, you'll be able to choose an
- 5:58Speaker 1: assistant manager and then you'll get that assistant manager for
- 6:01Speaker 1: three successive game weeks, and if you choose wisely, you
- 6:04Speaker 1: might just be able to coincide it with a double
- 6:07Speaker 1: game week as well. Now, whilst the assistant manager ship
- 6:09Speaker 1: is active, this does mean you won't be able to
- 6:11Speaker 1: play another chip for those three game weeks, So if
- 6:14Speaker 1: in double game week you want to play Triple Captain
- 6:16Speaker 1: or bench Boost or something like that, you won't be
- 6:18Speaker 1: able to one chip in play at all times. Remains
- 6:21Speaker 1: a rule in the game. Managers will be priced, this
- 6:23Speaker 1: is the interesting bit for me, between zero point five
- 6:26Speaker 1: million and one point five million, and they will need
- 6:28Speaker 1: to be paid for out of your FPL budget. So
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's probably good that this ship doesn't come into play
- 6:33Speaker 1: for a few weeks because you've got a little bit
- 6:35Speaker 1: of time to work out. Maybe take some budget out
- 6:37Speaker 1: for certain areas off your team to save some money
- 6:39Speaker 1: for the manager you want. They will also take one
- 6:42Speaker 1: of the three team slot managers you have, So for example,
- 6:45Speaker 1: if you picked on a slot, you would then only
- 6:47Speaker 1: be able to have two Liverpool players for those weeks
- 6:50Speaker 1: as well. Now managers will score points for the following
- 6:53Speaker 1: if the team wins six points, if the team draws
- 6:56Speaker 1: three points. A goal scored by a team one point
- 6:59Speaker 1: per goal, a clean sheet from a team two points,
- 7:02Speaker 1: so just bear that in mind as well. It's not
- 7:04Speaker 1: just three points for a winner point for a draw.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Different points system there, but this bit as well, to
- 7:09Speaker 1: add another layer of complication or excitement, I want to say,
- 7:12Speaker 1: there is also a table bonus. It would be very easy,
- 7:14Speaker 1: wouldn't it to go with my previous example of slot
- 7:17Speaker 1: Arteta maybe or maybe not the moment Pep Quardiola. But
- 7:20Speaker 1: if your chosen manager faces a club ranked at least
- 7:23Speaker 1: five places higher in the Premier League table at the
- 7:26Speaker 1: start of the game week, you get an extra ten
- 7:29Speaker 1: points for a win, so sixteen in total, or an
- 7:31Speaker 1: additional five points for a draw, so eight in totals.
- 7:34Speaker 1: There's a little bit of an incentive there to try
- 7:37Speaker 1: and be creative, maybe to try and pick up on
- 7:38Speaker 1: a good fixture run and not just go for the
- 7:41Speaker 1: obvious managers who tend to win week in week out.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I think I've gone through most of it there, Geors,
- 7:48Speaker 1: Do you have any more questions when it comes to there?
- 7:50Speaker 2: There's one other thing that we need to add is
- 7:53Speaker 2: that you can change the You can change the manager.
- 7:56Speaker 2: It would cost you a transfer, So if you have
- 7:58Speaker 2: a transfer left for example, or as well if you
- 8:00Speaker 2: don't have a transfer left. So if let's say I
- 8:02Speaker 2: don't know, you picked on the slot is a good example,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and then that first game for Liverpool anouncer doesn't go
- 8:08Speaker 2: like you are planned to go, like you were hoping
- 8:10Speaker 2: to go, and you fancy the next picture for Mikl
- 8:15Speaker 2: Bournemouth or whatever, then you can still make that switch,
- 8:17Speaker 2: which I think is a good thing because instead of
- 8:19Speaker 2: being just have locked in that manager for three games
- 8:22Speaker 2: and and feeling maybe after a bit like for the
- 8:25Speaker 2: player you sign, you we add the player to our
- 8:28Speaker 2: squad and to our team, and then he actually hasn't
- 8:30Speaker 2: returned like we wanted, you can still straight after let
- 8:34Speaker 2: him go and get somebody else.
- 8:35Speaker 3: It would just cost you a transfer man's phone. While
- 8:37Speaker 3: you can do the same with your manager.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So it's okay if the first game doesn't go according
- 8:41Speaker 2: to plan, you can still change or keep faith obviously
- 8:44Speaker 2: in the guy that you picked the first time. But
- 8:45Speaker 2: I like the fact that there's a bit of flexibility
- 8:47Speaker 2: as well with that ship.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah. I think that's that's a really important point, isn't it, Sam,
- 8:51Speaker 1: Because you could you could go in and think that Bournemouth.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I think Iraila is a really interesting one that you
- 8:55Speaker 1: use the example of before, because Iraula is someone that
- 8:58Speaker 1: stands out to me Bournemouth and go and beat bigger
- 9:01Speaker 1: teams and will often get results that you don't expect
- 9:03Speaker 1: them to. But equally, after one game week, maybe Semni
- 9:07Speaker 1: or maybe someone gets a key injury and you think,
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't know how they're going to do the next
- 9:10Speaker 1: couple of weeks. It is good to know we can
- 9:12Speaker 1: kind of change our mind, as we can when we
- 9:14Speaker 1: make normal transfers.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Yeah, and we saw this weekend right, we had a
- 9:17Speaker 4: postponement of a game, so yeah, really good example that
- 9:20Speaker 4: came for the weather. So you want to be able
- 9:22Speaker 4: to make sure that you can maximize that chip, particularly
- 9:24Speaker 4: as it's not just for one week, because it's going
- 9:27Speaker 4: to cover those three weeks.
- 9:28Speaker 1: It is important.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I think for me, there's a number
- 9:31Speaker 4: of factors at play, and right now with the way
- 9:34Speaker 4: the Premier League is, if you were to go for
- 9:37Speaker 4: Eddie Howe, for example, against Brighton, there's five places between them.
- 9:41Speaker 4: If Newcastle beat Brighton, he'd get an additional ten points,
- 9:45Speaker 4: and so you can play this really clever. You're not
- 9:47Speaker 4: necessarily having to go for a manager. That's a complete risk.
- 9:51Speaker 4: You can pick somebody that should win that fixture, but
- 9:54Speaker 4: just league table position at the moment doesn't quite lend
- 9:56Speaker 4: itself to that.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You also can't am I right, Sam, You can't have
- 10:00Speaker 1: a manager for a game week and then think, oh,
- 10:02Speaker 1: actually I want to use this later in the season
- 10:04Speaker 1: once it's active. It's active, isn't It's not a case
- 10:06Speaker 1: if you can use it as three separate weeks as well.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I think that's something I saw a couple of people saying, yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 1: that's right, it has to be consecutive. Yeah. Producer Jesse,
- 10:14Speaker 1: who as we know is actually I don't know if
- 10:17Speaker 1: you do know, it's actually getting better at FPL these days.
- 10:20Speaker 1: He had a good question as well, does your team
- 10:22Speaker 1: and the rest of FPL carry on as normal when
- 10:24Speaker 1: you have the manager, Sam. Yeah, everything else, everything else
- 10:30Speaker 1: we meant by that. But I'm here to represent.
- 10:33Speaker 4: The people, and if someone's got a question, I ask
- 10:35Speaker 4: it a bit like the triple Captain, Like when that's active,
- 10:38Speaker 4: everything else stays the same. It's just that you get
- 10:40Speaker 4: additional points for your captain. It's the same here. Everything
- 10:43Speaker 4: else will be the same unless you decide to use
- 10:46Speaker 4: your transfer and your manager. Everything else days the same,
- 10:48Speaker 4: and you just would score points as usual.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Talent planning and vision man in the corner. Where does this?
- 10:55Speaker 1: Obviously you've got all of your chips left, haven't you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: We'll have your second World card of course, now he's
- 11:00Speaker 1: got that yet. Sam's the only one on this podcast
- 11:02Speaker 1: as triple Captain. So now we've got to think about
- 11:05Speaker 1: the fact that we've got you and I have got
- 11:07Speaker 1: bench boost free, and we've got a triple Captain, and
- 11:09Speaker 1: we've got another chip as well. And I mentioned before
- 11:12Speaker 1: double game weeks, will this be more of a priorities
- 11:16Speaker 1: playing a double game week for me? It's tough to
- 11:18Speaker 1: kind of rank them at the moment.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe, I think I think that's the most exciting
- 11:22Speaker 2: thing for me. With this new chip is all the
- 11:24Speaker 2: strategy that you'll have to think and actually have two
- 11:26Speaker 2: proper and now we are this is serious to plan
- 11:29Speaker 2: and to just have a clear idea of what you
- 11:31Speaker 2: want to do and where you want to play this.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I think there's there's maybe a good strategy there by
- 11:37Speaker 2: playing your World Cards quite close to then your assistant
- 11:42Speaker 2: manager chip in the sense that you get your World
- 11:44Speaker 2: Card team ready and especially for the fixture list that
- 11:49Speaker 2: you picked and the manager that you picked for example,
- 11:50Speaker 2: and also because your manager will be part of your
- 11:53Speaker 2: three members of club if you want in your squads.
- 11:57Speaker 2: So if you play your World Cards and you know
- 11:59Speaker 2: you want slots because the fixtures are good and you
- 12:02Speaker 2: fancy them, and you play safe in a way, so okay,
- 12:05Speaker 2: you might miss out on the extra points that you
- 12:07Speaker 2: would get if you get a manager below in the
- 12:10Speaker 2: table that beats a team above, like we've just explained.
- 12:13Speaker 2: But let's say slot, you know that you will have
- 12:15Speaker 2: Salas slot and then a third Liverpool and then that's
- 12:17Speaker 2: that's locked on really with your wild card. I think
- 12:19Speaker 2: that's a massive help. And also to find the money,
- 12:22Speaker 2: I guess Slot will be one point five million, like
- 12:24Speaker 2: the top top managers, and we don't know some when
- 12:26Speaker 2: those prices will be revealed.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that was another question. I think it's really important.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So the manager is going to be priced between zero
- 12:31Speaker 1: point five and one point five. Do we have any
- 12:34Speaker 1: indication as to when these prices are going to be
- 12:35Speaker 1: revealed to No.
- 12:36Speaker 4: They just said that it will be out soon, So
- 12:39Speaker 4: I suspect it will be closer to Game week twenty four.
- 12:41Speaker 4: It's quite busy time fresh pail managers at the moment,
- 12:43Speaker 4: isn't it, planning for Christmas and all of that stuff.
- 12:45Speaker 4: So I suspect that as we get closer to game
- 12:48Speaker 4: week twenty four, we'll see an update in the app
- 12:51Speaker 4: and in the website, and the managers will appear as
- 12:53Speaker 4: an option, and then we'll get their prices.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I guess that's how they'll do it.
- 12:56Speaker 3: But you know, pretty much would be the one on five.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Then you will have maybe you soler. Those kind of
- 13:03Speaker 2: managers are one way, they're.
- 13:05Speaker 1: The kind of managers that are interesting to me, Jules.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I don't know about you, guys, but from early the
- 13:10Speaker 1: prices depend on it so much. We can't plan until
- 13:12Speaker 1: we know those prices. But as you said, Jewels, we
- 13:14Speaker 1: can we can have a good guess my early kind
- 13:17Speaker 1: of indication is I would like to do a Hurtzler
- 13:20Speaker 1: or someone like that, or I guess maybe use it
- 13:23Speaker 1: later in the season when there's a team that maybe
- 13:26Speaker 1: is playing for survival, that maybe there's always that one
- 13:28Speaker 1: team that's trying to stay in the Premier League that
- 13:30Speaker 1: all of a sudden picks up a few good results,
- 13:31Speaker 1: aren't they like, maybe it'll be ipswitch. I don't know.
- 13:33Speaker 1: I'm just using it as an example. They're the kind
- 13:36Speaker 1: of managers. I'm not dismissing a slot, but you're going
- 13:39Speaker 1: to have to play pay a premium for a manager
- 13:41Speaker 1: that isn't going to be playing a team five teams
- 13:44Speaker 1: above them, So you're already not going to be able
- 13:46Speaker 1: to get those points, do you know what I mean?
- 13:48Speaker 3: Yeah? Absolutely.
- 13:49Speaker 2: And also I think I think before some goes, I
- 13:51Speaker 2: think also look carefully at the fixtures, because in your
- 13:55Speaker 2: in your three fixture bracket, really for that for that chip,
- 13:58Speaker 2: and again we said you can change and if you're
- 14:00Speaker 2: very smart and you've banked enough transfer that you have
- 14:04Speaker 2: in the bank, then you can also.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Change twice your manager.
- 14:07Speaker 2: So your first fixture looks really good for Irala against
- 14:10Speaker 2: the top team and you want the extra point. The
- 14:12Speaker 2: second fixture in that three game week bracket is really
- 14:16Speaker 2: good for McKenna Ipswich because I don't know they play Spurs,
- 14:20Speaker 2: and Spurs having the time that you play the Chip
- 14:22Speaker 2: havn't been great for example. And then the third the
- 14:25Speaker 2: third game in that three gamework bracket, again.
- 14:28Speaker 3: It's good for somebody else.
- 14:29Speaker 2: So if you have two free transfer that you can use,
- 14:31Speaker 2: you can use them all on your managers if you
- 14:32Speaker 2: have enough money and you have jet et cetera. So
- 14:35Speaker 2: but look carefully at those those those fixtures.
- 14:37Speaker 3: And whenever you feelish the right time, you go for it.
- 14:40Speaker 2: But that's why I think it's really exciting because the
- 14:42Speaker 2: strategy part of the game, which really all the game
- 14:45Speaker 2: is about strategy. When we put a player in, when
- 14:47Speaker 2: you think about Holent, you know you predict him to score.
- 14:50Speaker 3: That's why he's in your team. It's the same with
- 14:51Speaker 3: the manager.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It's a bit like getting the predictions right for your
- 14:55Speaker 2: with the Promier League or I think he will do
- 14:57Speaker 2: well in that game, I think they can win.
- 14:58Speaker 3: So then is it's going to be really really exciting.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Sam we joked last night that we didn't believe that
- 15:04Speaker 1: Jewels would have even read the article. But honestly, you've
- 15:07Speaker 1: impressed me this morning because you've dissected it, you've understood it,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you've thought how it relates to your team, and I
- 15:12Speaker 1: think you've maybe made me realize as well. It was
- 15:15Speaker 1: quite overwhelming when that chip came out yesterday. None of
- 15:18Speaker 1: us knew it was going to come out yesterday afternoon.
- 15:20Speaker 1: It just landed there on our social media feeds, and
- 15:22Speaker 1: it felt like quite a lot to process. But actually,
- 15:24Speaker 1: when you break it down, it is really exciting. I
- 15:27Speaker 1: was excited by it because I love the idea we'd
- 15:29Speaker 1: never have managers in the games, but I was a
- 15:31Speaker 1: bit like, oh my goodness, how am I going to
- 15:32Speaker 1: factor this into my thinking. We don't have to think
- 15:35Speaker 1: about it until after Christmas. You're right Sam saying that
- 15:38Speaker 1: you can kind of maybe start thinking about your budget.
- 15:40Speaker 1: That's the only thing as someone that doesn't have the
- 15:42Speaker 1: best team value because I didn't have the best starts
- 15:44Speaker 1: of the season. I have been trying to work on
- 15:46Speaker 1: that in the last few weeks and get better on
- 15:48Speaker 1: getting price rises and things. But it's something to really
- 15:51Speaker 1: bear in mind over these Christmas periods when prices are
- 15:53Speaker 1: going up and down, to remember that all of a sudden,
- 15:55Speaker 1: we've got to find this extra money and we've got
- 15:57Speaker 1: to start moving it out of our teams into our
- 15:59Speaker 1: banking anticipation of this.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think forward planning is really important. I mean,
- 16:03Speaker 4: it is an fpl right, as Jules Well knows from
- 16:05Speaker 4: his talent and planning and all.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I know, I really thought you were talking about me.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I am always, but I think it's even more important
- 16:13Speaker 4: now because they're going to take one of your three
- 16:15Speaker 4: slots in your team. So for me, if I wanted
- 16:18Speaker 4: to own Arteta right now, I couldn't because I have
- 16:20Speaker 4: three arsenal players in my team.
- 16:23Speaker 1: So you have to kind of start thinking about that.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You have to think about at the moment.
- 16:26Speaker 4: In my bank, I've got zero point nine, so I
- 16:29Speaker 4: only need to find zero point one to probably afford
- 16:32Speaker 4: that middle bracket of managers. And that's where I think
- 16:34Speaker 4: the value is going to be in this chip. I
- 16:36Speaker 4: don't think it's going to be in the slots and
- 16:39Speaker 4: the artetas because you may get your three wins and
- 16:44Speaker 4: you may get your multiple goals and maybe some clean sheets.
- 16:48Speaker 1: But for me, I think I quite like the risk.
- 16:52Speaker 4: I quite like paying my triple captain in a week
- 16:54Speaker 4: when no one else is doing it again on a
- 16:56Speaker 4: player that nobody else is chasing.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I wondered how you felt about having played your triple
- 17:00Speaker 1: captain in a way. Does it maybe make it easier
- 17:02Speaker 1: for you with this maybe?
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yeah, because you know you've you're only going to get
- 17:06Speaker 4: so many double game weeks this season, and we've known
- 17:10Speaker 4: that all along, Right, the double game weeks are going
- 17:13Speaker 4: to be slightly more at a premium, so we're expecting
- 17:17Speaker 4: there to be a couple probably in game weeks thirty
- 17:20Speaker 4: three and thirty six, because we're expecting obviously a couple
- 17:23Speaker 4: of blanks for mostly for cup finals to be fair.
- 17:26Speaker 4: So twenty yeah, twenty nine and thirty four. So because
- 17:31Speaker 4: those two now, the positive thing here is we're talking
- 17:33Speaker 4: about blocks of three game week so the thirty three
- 17:35Speaker 4: and thirty six double could not come together, so you
- 17:39Speaker 4: couldn't get five fixtures on what we're thinking about right now.
- 17:42Speaker 4: But then we have incidents like we had at the
- 17:44Speaker 4: weekend that we've just had where the Everton Liverpool game
- 17:47Speaker 4: has been postponed for unforeseen circumstances with the storm that
- 17:50Speaker 4: we had here in the UK, so that game has
- 17:53Speaker 4: got to slot in somewhere. There's a lot of conversation
- 17:56Speaker 4: about where that might go, and a lot of people
- 17:58Speaker 4: suggesting maybe it goes into get week twenty four or
- 18:01Speaker 4: twenty five because of midweek availability for those two clubs
- 18:04Speaker 4: at that point in the season.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So there's an.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Opportunity to use it there. But if you also want
- 18:10Speaker 4: to use your free hit in a double game week,
- 18:12Speaker 4: and you also want to use your bench boost in
- 18:14Speaker 4: a double game week, that would leave you probably unable
- 18:18Speaker 4: to use your triple captain. So there's going to be
- 18:20Speaker 4: a chip that has to be played outside of a
- 18:22Speaker 4: double Maybe the obvious one to do there is to
- 18:26Speaker 4: use your free hit and to use it in one
- 18:28Speaker 4: of the blank game weeks to help you cover that.
- 18:30Speaker 4: But I think this one fits really nicey if you
- 18:33Speaker 4: use it in conjunction with some of the others, so
- 18:35Speaker 4: you could feasibly use the budget to buy your manager
- 18:40Speaker 4: straight after that window, wildcard your team, and then bench
- 18:42Speaker 4: boost them after that when you've redistributed that money out
- 18:45Speaker 4: of your manager and maybe used it to buy another
- 18:47Speaker 4: player slot from that team. I think what we'll see
- 18:51Speaker 4: is a lot of managers running chips back to back
- 18:53Speaker 4: across the second half of the season because we have
- 18:56Speaker 4: only got a limited number of game weeks that we
- 18:59Speaker 4: can use all of this stuff in. And if you
- 19:00Speaker 4: want to maximize each and every one of them, then
- 19:03Speaker 4: I think you're gonna have to think quite carefully and
- 19:05Speaker 4: plan for it.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Kelly loves that she's going to play all of them,
- 19:07Speaker 2: like literally again with thirty five, thirty six, thirty seven,
- 19:10Speaker 2: thirty it's a dream.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Comes because it's not because it's going to force my
- 19:15Speaker 1: hand a bit more. Actually you laugh about it being
- 19:17Speaker 1: dream come true. But because it covers three game weeks,
- 19:20Speaker 1: it means I don't leave.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Three from from thirty three, four five and then six,
- 19:24Speaker 2: seven eight the other three chip cares.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I actually think that this one if you're if you're
- 19:30Speaker 4: that way inclined and you like to leave your chip late,
- 19:32Speaker 4: which I know you don't.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Like doing it.
- 19:37Speaker 4: It's my resolution, but this chip actually might work quite
- 19:41Speaker 4: nicely then because if you played it in game week
- 19:43Speaker 4: thirty six, for example.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Brent don't encourage me to leave. Brentford have great.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Fixtures, so their last three fixturess which for the Wolves,
- 19:51Speaker 4: so they have great fixtures to end.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry if even you looked at the last three fixtures, I.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Love yeah, but again I like the idea of changing.
- 19:59Speaker 1: No.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I like the ide of changing because I think if
- 20:01Speaker 2: really you push the strategy far, you use some of
- 20:04Speaker 2: your free transfer and change and just target, especially with
- 20:08Speaker 2: the extra points, target the games, and you could have
- 20:10Speaker 2: three different managers and I would love that. Imagine there's
- 20:14Speaker 2: somebody somewhere who will get three different managers with three
- 20:18Speaker 2: wins against the team, and it's just going to rank
- 20:24Speaker 2: the points so much because that can take you to
- 20:27Speaker 2: twenty five points each time.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Sam pretty much and Jos and I interrupted you them
- 20:32Speaker 1: because we were mocking your forward planning. I've forgotten what
- 20:35Speaker 1: were you saying.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Sorry, Well, it's just that, you know, in those last
- 20:39Speaker 4: three weeks of the season, a lot of things happen.
- 20:40Speaker 4: One you can write out some teams because, as we say,
- 20:43Speaker 4: they go on the beach and they're not you know,
- 20:45Speaker 4: they've got nothing to fight for. But you've got other
- 20:48Speaker 4: teams that will be the exact opposite of that. They're
- 20:50Speaker 4: going to be the ones that are fighting against relegation.
- 20:54Speaker 4: And those teams are definitely going to have the opportunity
- 20:56Speaker 4: for the bonus because they're going to be playing teams
- 20:59Speaker 4: probably five above them in the league, so you can
- 21:01Speaker 4: target those. You're going to have the ones that are
- 21:03Speaker 4: fighting for European slots and therefore have that additional motivation.
- 21:08Speaker 4: And these are also if you're talking about that kind
- 21:11Speaker 4: of middle bracket of team and the teams towards the
- 21:13Speaker 4: low end of the table, they are unlikely to be
- 21:16Speaker 4: teams that you have troubled up on, so it's unlikely
- 21:18Speaker 4: to have to use other transfers to deal with taken
- 21:21Speaker 4: out a player to get the manager instead. So there's
- 21:24Speaker 4: something really quite nice about getting to the end of
- 21:27Speaker 4: the season and having this chip for the last three
- 21:29Speaker 4: weeks because it does mean you can really focus in
- 21:32Speaker 4: on who's got the incentive at this point in the season,
- 21:37Speaker 4: where are the players playing in terms of the lead
- 21:40Speaker 4: position of the team that they're facing, and is there
- 21:44Speaker 4: something massively riding on it. So I quite like the
- 21:47Speaker 4: idea of thirty six.
- 21:49Speaker 3: It's amazing It's.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Going to be me, isn't it? So I think that
- 21:56Speaker 1: kind of covers off most of the talking points. Is
- 21:58Speaker 1: there anything else wanted to discuss or outline sam that
- 22:01Speaker 1: you think maybe we've missed.
- 22:03Speaker 3: No.
- 22:03Speaker 4: I think the thing to say is just to look
- 22:05Speaker 4: carefully at the blocks of fixtures and if you can
- 22:09Speaker 4: and you want to just be because is absolutely a
- 22:12Speaker 4: valid strategy to go I really love my Premier League manager.
- 22:16Speaker 4: Like if you are new to this, like genuinely could
- 22:19Speaker 4: like I mean, I'm not going to likely unless we
- 22:22Speaker 4: have a massive turnaround at Spurs. But if you get
- 22:25Speaker 4: like Thomas Frank for example, that's got some home fixtures
- 22:29Speaker 4: all back to back, we know how good Brentford are
- 22:31Speaker 4: at home. If you're a Brentford fan and you just
- 22:33Speaker 4: want to go I never get the opportunity to do this,
- 22:35Speaker 4: I want to pick my manager, then that's also a
- 22:37Speaker 4: valuable strategy.
- 22:38Speaker 1: You just have to.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Look for the moments in the season where you want
- 22:41Speaker 4: to play that chip and you could find a block
- 22:44Speaker 4: of fixtures that look really nice for Brentford if they're
- 22:48Speaker 4: your team and that's how you want to do it.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Or you can do what Joe says and Hokey Koch
- 22:52Speaker 4: around and try and maximize points returns. It's what I
- 22:56Speaker 4: like about this chip is so much difference in what
- 22:59Speaker 4: people might do that I think the points returns that
- 23:02Speaker 4: people can get from it will be massively divisive and
- 23:06Speaker 4: that could mean the difference between winning and losing mini league.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So really just think about it, think about it until
- 23:11Speaker 1: you do it.
- 23:12Speaker 3: It's an absolutely The.
- 23:13Speaker 1: One thing I would say as well is don't panic guys.
- 23:15Speaker 1: It can film quite overwhelming at this time of year
- 23:17Speaker 1: with all of the deadlines. This isn't coming in until
- 23:19Speaker 1: Game week twenty four, so do remember that. And when
- 23:21Speaker 1: you come to think about it again, maybe game week
- 23:23Speaker 1: twenty two, twenty three, when it starts to be on
- 23:25Speaker 1: your radar, remember this podcast will still be in your feed.
- 23:28Speaker 1: It's the game week What game week be on sixteen sixteen?
- 23:31Speaker 1: In sixteen That says it all. The fact that I
- 23:33Speaker 1: don't know which game week it is. It's the Game
- 23:35Speaker 1: Week sixteen preview pod. It's Thursday, the twelfth of December.
- 23:37Speaker 1: To just go back in the first twenty minutes. We've
- 23:39Speaker 1: got all of this banked here for you so you
- 23:41Speaker 1: can refer back to it and hopefully we've answered as
- 23:44Speaker 1: many of the questions that you do have. But like
- 23:46Speaker 1: I said, check out that article on the Premier League
- 23:48Speaker 1: gap and on Fantasy Dot Premier League dot Com as well,
- 23:51Speaker 1: and all of the answers I think should be in
- 23:53Speaker 1: that article.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Two.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Well, we're not just here to provide info on the
- 23:56Speaker 1: mystery chip, ah. We are also a preview podcast for
- 24:00Speaker 1: the Game week Ahead, which we've just discovered is game
- 24:02Speaker 1: week sixteen, and so just a quick recap then on
- 24:05Speaker 1: Game week fifteen, which is of course where we normally
- 24:07Speaker 1: start off our podcast. So just an update for you
- 24:10Speaker 1: on how everyone did. Sam is of course leading the
- 24:13Speaker 1: way in our mini leads. You've got fifty two points,
- 24:16Speaker 1: which means she's on nine hundred and one overall. The
- 24:19Speaker 1: big talking point for me, obviously, I'm going to say
- 24:21Speaker 1: this is the fact that I'm now up to second
- 24:23Speaker 1: eight hundred and seventy six points. I got seventy three points,
- 24:27Speaker 1: which does mean that I clawed back twenty one points
- 24:30Speaker 1: on Sam Bonfield this week. I mean I am still
- 24:32Speaker 1: twenty six points, twenty five points, sorry behind you, but yeah,
- 24:37Speaker 1: finally getting some good returns. I think that's three weeks
- 24:39Speaker 1: in a row now, might have beaten both of you. Actually,
- 24:42Speaker 1: Ian's sitting in thirties on eight hundred and sixty five,
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm sixty one points, and Jewels is in fourth on
- 24:47Speaker 1: eight hundred and fifty eight points. You've got sixty four
- 24:51Speaker 1: last week. I'm quite pleasing myself because I was at
- 24:54Speaker 1: two point eight million. I was having a disaster of
- 24:57Speaker 1: a season and I've gone up to about one point
- 24:58Speaker 1: five now, having a steady climb. Still not where I
- 25:01Speaker 1: want to be, but yeah, things going not too badly.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And only had ten players. Jeeles, you had your actually
- 25:07Speaker 1: know sorry, Sam had her heads in her hands when
- 25:08Speaker 1: I said that Jewels will start with you. We'll go
- 25:10Speaker 1: from bottom up, shall we.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's okay because it's three green hours in a
- 25:14Speaker 2: rona and it's really good even if somehow you beat
- 25:18Speaker 2: us with ten players.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I mean, you were so jammy?
- 25:22Speaker 1: How was I jammy? Can I just point out I
- 25:24Speaker 1: did a last minute panic transfer, of course, sold I
- 25:28Speaker 1: sold Rico Lewis for Kirkez at Bournemouth. If I hadn't
- 25:32Speaker 1: have sold Rico Lewis I would have obviously. I know
- 25:34Speaker 1: he got sent off, but he got two more points
- 25:35Speaker 1: than kirk so I've got even more. But I did
- 25:38Speaker 1: it just because I thought Lewis wouldn't start and I
- 25:40Speaker 1: was fed up with the Lewis roulette. I'm still happy
- 25:42Speaker 1: with that decision, even if it didn't pay off this week.
- 25:44Speaker 1: There is nothing lucky about my game week.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Carry on maybe No, I'm just happy because for once
- 25:49Speaker 2: I picked the right captain and I think if you didn't,
- 25:51Speaker 2: as we always said, it hurts cor Palmer thirty six
- 25:56Speaker 2: points if you captain him like me, which she's like,
- 25:59Speaker 2: more than half the points I got this week. My
- 26:02Speaker 2: boys William Saliva of course, my brother Saliva another goal
- 26:07Speaker 2: for him, amazing, I mean just about on side my
- 26:11Speaker 2: phone three of Evanierson, Kunya and Nicol Jackson not so
- 26:14Speaker 2: good this time.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I was happy with the sixty four points.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Sam, you weren't so happy with your fifty two. And
- 26:21Speaker 1: as show said there, I think you're living proof that
- 26:24Speaker 1: get your captain wrong and it can affect you.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I could not, could not, could not bring myself to
- 26:30Speaker 4: captain Kharma against Furs, and so I was like right
- 26:33Speaker 4: and going with soccer and then Martinelli. I've never been
- 26:35Speaker 4: so annoyed at a person in my whole life. Look
- 26:37Speaker 4: at the lines, stay on side, please? Yeah, so when that's.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Sorry, but still it still was only one goal. It
- 26:44Speaker 1: doesn't matter. The one goal would have made this feel
- 26:46Speaker 1: a lot better.
- 26:47Speaker 4: I think when when you get a complete captaincy blank
- 26:50Speaker 4: out of a player that you're expecting to do really well.
- 26:52Speaker 1: It's really frustrating.
- 26:52Speaker 4: I had taken the one goal from soccer and run
- 26:55Speaker 4: because it's not like I didn't have part I had
- 26:57Speaker 4: him in my team, so had Saka girl that goal.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Then I'm pretty.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Much level with Jews in terms of points returns for
- 27:05Speaker 4: the week. And it's a nice green arrow and I'm
- 27:07Speaker 4: happy as it happens. The captaincy was a bit of
- 27:11Speaker 4: a disaster. The one negative about owning the Arsenal defense
- 27:17Speaker 4: is that we have swing weeks like we did so
- 27:21Speaker 4: last week it was massive halls and big green arrows
- 27:23Speaker 4: because I had both of them. This week, the clean
- 27:26Speaker 4: sheet goes and then it's not Timber that gets the
- 27:29Speaker 4: goal and you end up with like nothing out of
- 27:31Speaker 4: two players, and then that also hurt hurts rank. But actually,
- 27:36Speaker 4: you know the rest of my team, given that I
- 27:38Speaker 4: had a complete captaincy blank, the rest of my team
- 27:40Speaker 4: did quite well and they were chipped in so Lankey
- 27:42Speaker 4: chipped in with some points, so it was fine. I
- 27:45Speaker 4: think it felt like a week where given I didn't
- 27:51Speaker 4: obviously nobody had their Liverpool assets play and I had
- 27:54Speaker 4: a Captaincy Blank to get out of it with pretty much.
- 27:56Speaker 1: A gray arrow.
- 27:57Speaker 4: It was like a minor it's actually fine. And then
- 28:02Speaker 4: heading into this week, so I have that horrible moment
- 28:05Speaker 4: where it took my team for this week and was like,
- 28:07Speaker 4: oh my gosh, you look amazing, like I love you all.
- 28:09Speaker 1: You all look brilliant.
- 28:11Speaker 4: And every time I feel like that, it then ends
- 28:13Speaker 4: up being knocked quite the week that you were anticipating
- 28:16Speaker 4: for some weird reason.
- 28:18Speaker 1: So we'll see how it goes.
- 28:19Speaker 4: But I'm kind of still all right with the fifty two,
- 28:21Speaker 4: given there was a huge hall for Parma and I
- 28:24Speaker 4: didn't have him as my captain.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, not too bad, really, I think we all kind
- 28:28Speaker 1: of survived things, didn't we a few? I mean, I
- 28:31Speaker 1: quite love my team, but I've also got a few headaches,
- 28:33Speaker 1: the likes of Gabrielle Well come on to him very surely.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But let's just check in on the FPL Pod Mini
- 28:38Speaker 1: League and we've actually got two way tight. So I
- 28:40Speaker 1: love it when this happens. Charlie Sheppard and James White,
- 28:43Speaker 1: they're both locked on one thousand and seventy five points.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Charlie got fifty seven this week. He captained Esak not
- 28:49Speaker 1: too bad, but he did sell and before his thirteen
- 28:52Speaker 1: point hauled James scored sixty five he captained Palmer. They're
- 28:56Speaker 1: just one point ahead of Max Little Proud in third
- 29:00Speaker 1: and fifth a head of Stephen Blakemore, who is in
- 29:03Speaker 1: fourth place. Remind if you haven't joined the league yet,
- 29:05Speaker 1: the code is Q seven y C zero. Okay, let's
- 29:09Speaker 1: go through. I mentioned Gabrielle before, so let's go through
- 29:11Speaker 1: some of the popular FPI assets, because it does feel
- 29:13Speaker 1: like there's a bit of maybe some movement in terms
- 29:16Speaker 1: of wanting to sell them and move on to different
- 29:18Speaker 1: players for maybe the ones that we've had in our team.
- 29:21Speaker 1: So by sell hold, let's start with that man, Gabrielle.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I'm not sure what to do. I don't really feel
- 29:27Speaker 1: comfortable selling an Arsenal defender, and we know just how
- 29:30Speaker 1: good he can be, but ultimately I'm missing out on
- 29:33Speaker 1: Arsenal clean sheets at the moment. What would you do
- 29:35Speaker 1: if you were me yours?
- 29:37Speaker 2: It's a tricky one, this one, because I don't think
- 29:39Speaker 2: anybody should sell him, but you should have somebody off
- 29:42Speaker 2: your bench being able to play while he's injured or
- 29:45Speaker 2: that full and we don't know yet exactly when he's
- 29:48Speaker 2: going to come back. He didn't play in the Champions
- 29:50Speaker 2: League on Wednesday night against Monaco, not that Arsenal needed him,
- 29:53Speaker 2: so maybe it was just a case he was ready,
- 29:55Speaker 2: but they just didn't need him. They knew they would
- 29:58Speaker 2: be okay without him, even to beat Monaco in the
- 30:00Speaker 2: Champions League.
- 30:01Speaker 3: So he might come back at the weekend or might not.
- 30:04Speaker 2: I just think that you, yeah, you can say, but
- 30:06Speaker 2: you would have to bring him back in because he's
- 30:09Speaker 2: I think he's a player to have. He's a must
- 30:11Speaker 2: have almost in any team unless you're like me, linked
- 30:14Speaker 2: with Saliba.
- 30:15Speaker 3: But apart from that, he's the guy really.
- 30:17Speaker 2: From our Arsenal point of view, and from a defender's
- 30:19Speaker 2: point of view, I think in the game, considering the
- 30:21Speaker 2: goals that he scored, and that Arsenal will get clean
- 30:24Speaker 2: sheet maybe more often than not, or should.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Get them more often than not.
- 30:27Speaker 2: So I hope that you have a good replacement on
- 30:30Speaker 2: your bench that you can bring on and live and
- 30:32Speaker 2: leave Gabrielle there on your bench, because I would not send.
- 30:34Speaker 1: The other thing that comes into this for me Sam
- 30:36Speaker 1: as well, is if I do keep him, I need
- 30:39Speaker 1: to have another Arsenal defender now potentially want to double
- 30:42Speaker 1: up anyway, but I need to have another Arsenal defender
- 30:43Speaker 1: because each week at the moment, if Arsenal defenders are
- 30:46Speaker 1: returning and I'm not getting any Arsenal clean sheet points,
- 30:49Speaker 1: it's going to affect my rank. What would you do?
- 30:53Speaker 4: So I had this choice a couple of weeks ago,
- 30:56Speaker 4: and it was a straight choice between going back to Saliba,
- 30:59Speaker 4: going for Gabrielle, or going for Timber, And in that moment,
- 31:04Speaker 4: I decided that going for Timber was going to be
- 31:06Speaker 4: how I played it because he is significantly cheaper than
- 31:08Speaker 4: the other two, and I think, given all the stuff
- 31:11Speaker 4: we've just said about the mystery chip, that saving is
- 31:15Speaker 4: the difference between a zero point five.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Manager and a one million manager.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Right So, I think if I was you, i'd hold
- 31:23Speaker 4: him just because you're in this point. He's going to
- 31:25Speaker 4: come back. I don't think he's going to be a
- 31:26Speaker 4: priority sell. But if you are, if you've got Raya,
- 31:30Speaker 4: for example, and you're looking to invest in the Arsenal defense,
- 31:33Speaker 4: then I don't think i'd pick Gabrielle right now. I
- 31:35Speaker 4: think I'd go for Timber because we're seeing attacking threat
- 31:37Speaker 4: from him.
- 31:39Speaker 1: And we have the.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Added benefit of the additional budget that he saves. So
- 31:43Speaker 4: I think if you've got Gabrielle, you hold. But I
- 31:45Speaker 4: think if you're looking to buy into the Arsenal defense,
- 31:48Speaker 4: then the rare Timber combination is going to save you
- 31:52Speaker 4: money and potentially bring you just as many points.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Okay, so you probably wouldn't buy him, but you probably
- 31:58Speaker 1: wouldn't sell him either. H just hold hold. There's an answer. Okay.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Another player that was heavily sold last week, Brian and Bomo.
- 32:07Speaker 1: If you did sell him, which I was tempted to,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you would have been punished thirteen points, as I said previously,
- 32:12Speaker 1: for him by sell or hold Samue First.
- 32:14Speaker 2: It's time.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Do you know He's been the topic of a lot
- 32:17Speaker 4: of conversation in my house because Lee said on Sky
- 32:20Speaker 4: last weekend that this was going to be his last
- 32:22Speaker 4: dance with him.
- 32:23Speaker 1: How can you say this week?
- 32:24Speaker 4: I know we had this conversation, but then other things
- 32:27Speaker 4: come up as well, right, because he's got Allie Watkins
- 32:29Speaker 4: in his team. He picked up some sort of injury
- 32:30Speaker 4: in the Champions League. But I don't it's difficult with
- 32:33Speaker 4: him because at home the form is incredible and he's
- 32:36Speaker 4: returning and he looks great, but at the same time
- 32:40Speaker 4: the away form isn't great and the fixtures are changing for.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Brentford passively at home.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I've Liverpool Aarston in City coming up with
- 32:48Speaker 2: Forest the next four home games.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 4: So at this point, if there's ever going to be
- 32:53Speaker 4: a moment where you sell him, I think this is it.
- 32:56Speaker 4: And I also think that it's coming at a time
- 32:58Speaker 4: where you've got a load of other players that are
- 33:00Speaker 4: actually performing really well and just take handsa Fernandez for example, right,
- 33:04Speaker 4: he is looking really good at the moment, significantly cheaper,
- 33:08Speaker 4: freeze up budget. It means you can probably get to
- 33:11Speaker 4: a Socca or a Palmer or Salo if you still
- 33:13Speaker 4: don't have them in your teams. If you want to
- 33:15Speaker 4: go back to having Trent again, then you can do that.
- 33:18Speaker 4: I think even with the thirteen points last week, I
- 33:21Speaker 4: would still sell en bom By this week.
- 33:24Speaker 3: What about you, Joes, Yeah, I agree.
- 33:27Speaker 2: I mean he blanked in four of the previous five
- 33:29Speaker 2: as well, so it's not like if he'd been on
- 33:31Speaker 2: great form even prior to the thirteen against against newcast
- 33:35Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but he's got obviously the potential and the
- 33:39Speaker 2: talent and et cetera. And with the WISA or even
- 33:42Speaker 2: Shadow now he's joining in. But I just think the
- 33:45Speaker 2: fixtures coming up so tough for Brentford, and especially at home.
- 33:48Speaker 3: They are the.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Best the team with the best home form so far
- 33:51Speaker 2: in the league. But there's a reason for that is
- 33:53Speaker 2: because they yet they have not played at home or
- 33:56Speaker 2: the big guys pretty much, so they're coming very soon
- 33:59Speaker 2: now and I just would not I would say I
- 34:02Speaker 2: certainly would not invest in him if I was looking
- 34:05Speaker 2: for a Brandford player.
- 34:06Speaker 1: To be fair, I'm probably going to have to sell
- 34:07Speaker 1: him to upgrade my defense, so that will probably swing me.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But yeah, I think he'll be a popular sell with
- 34:12Speaker 1: a lot of managers this week. Okay, let's try and
- 34:14Speaker 1: go through some of these a little bit quicker Rico Lewis,
- 34:16Speaker 1: As I said I sold him, I mean, why.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Did you give up by in the first place?
- 34:20Speaker 1: It was four point seven million and he was a
- 34:22Speaker 1: man city defender.
- 34:23Speaker 3: If yeah, but even that, you know, like the desire
- 34:28Speaker 3: he's no.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I bought him before they were disastrous and he served
- 34:31Speaker 1: a purpose. He's been on my bench for a lot
- 34:32Speaker 1: of it. But ultimately mother defenders meant that I needed
- 34:35Speaker 1: a playing defender, so I had to sell him. So
- 34:38Speaker 1: although I missed out on his points last week, he
- 34:41Speaker 1: is now suspended of course anyway, so he would have
- 34:43Speaker 1: been a headache for this week. I'm glad that I
- 34:45Speaker 1: have got Rid, and I would encourage managers to sell,
- 34:47Speaker 1: but I'm not here to provide advice. You are what
- 34:50Speaker 1: do you think?
- 34:51Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, which is a shame. But if you have
- 34:54Speaker 2: var Joy, it's the same. I just don't think right
- 34:56Speaker 2: now we can trust this city certainly the city defense
- 35:00Speaker 2: going forward. I think they will always score goal or
- 35:03Speaker 2: should be there and around. But defensively they've been symbolic
- 35:08Speaker 2: really so from him to Vardoe, to Walker to or
- 35:11Speaker 2: take Our Edison, Edison was back in the Champions League,
- 35:14Speaker 2: whoever you want.
- 35:15Speaker 3: I just don't think right now you should own a
- 35:17Speaker 3: city defender. SA.
- 35:19Speaker 4: No, I agree with Geors. I think it not only
- 35:22Speaker 4: do you have the problem this week because he's suspended.
- 35:24Speaker 4: I think moving forward, I just don't think the city
- 35:26Speaker 4: defense is where you want to be invested, so i'd
- 35:30Speaker 4: move him on. I think there's so many other really
- 35:32Speaker 4: nice options in the four point five bracket that you
- 35:34Speaker 4: can go to instead.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Okay, Schuell, Pedro, Sam.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Next three are nice. He's got really nice fixtures. I
- 35:44Speaker 4: am going to hold him. I still think there's value there.
- 35:47Speaker 4: I still think that somebody across your front eight has
- 35:53Speaker 4: to be cheap. They have to be a cheap option,
- 35:55Speaker 4: and at his price point, I think he offers one
- 35:57Speaker 4: of the best routes into value for money, alongside the
- 36:01Speaker 4: likes of Enzo Fernandez and se Meeno. So for me,
- 36:04Speaker 4: I'm Morgan Rodgers as well. To be fair, so for
- 36:07Speaker 4: me he would be a hold. I'd still consider buying
- 36:10Speaker 4: him as well if it meant that you could upgrade elsewhere,
- 36:13Speaker 4: because I think that there are a number of options
- 36:16Speaker 4: that you can have in that forward line and you
- 36:18Speaker 4: can go for I know that they didn't work for
- 36:20Speaker 4: Jaws and I particularly well last week, but that's slightly
- 36:23Speaker 4: cheaper front line where you've got kind of somebody in
- 36:26Speaker 4: the seven, somebody in the sixth and someone in the
- 36:28Speaker 4: five million price points does mean you can have a
- 36:32Speaker 4: phenomenon midfield. So for me, jar Pedro would be a
- 36:35Speaker 4: definite hold, and I'd still buy him for budget reasons, agree.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Geors, Yeah, I agree.
- 36:40Speaker 2: I went for e Vanilson, and to be fair, since
- 36:42Speaker 2: I bought a Vanissan, they've been quite similar and Evanisson,
- 36:45Speaker 2: I think it's point to more expensive is five nine
- 36:47Speaker 2: to six one so is and the pictures for Bournmouth are.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Also good too, to be fair.
- 36:53Speaker 2: So it's where you think like the best value really
- 36:57Speaker 2: is and who would have the best impact and when
- 37:00Speaker 2: Pedrol and Brighton and doing well is great, but they've
- 37:02Speaker 2: been two of his last three games where you blaked.
- 37:05Speaker 3: They haven't really got going either.
- 37:07Speaker 2: So but Sam's right the next three Palace Western, Brantford's
- 37:12Speaker 2: at home.
- 37:13Speaker 3: They're good fixtures.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Okay, someone that I mentioned I was considering buying last
- 37:16Speaker 1: week and I'm still considering doing the transfer andmo to
- 37:20Speaker 1: Semeno to save a bit of money. Sam, you've already
- 37:22Speaker 1: mentioned that Semno is exceptional value, isn't he? Do you
- 37:26Speaker 1: still agree that with the fixtures Burnemouth have got now
- 37:28Speaker 1: as well, you'd potentially buy him and hold him if
- 37:31Speaker 1: you've got him.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean west Ham, I United Palace form Everton
- 37:35Speaker 4: like that is a run that you'd invest in, and
- 37:37Speaker 4: these are defenses that can all be got at. I
- 37:40Speaker 4: think investing in Bournemouth makes sense. I did similar to Jules.
- 37:44Speaker 4: I went for Evanilson. Just think that having an attacker
- 37:48Speaker 4: from from those from that side makes a lot of sense.
- 37:51Speaker 4: So whether you've got a space in your forward line
- 37:53Speaker 4: and you want to go for Evanilson or you've got
- 37:54Speaker 4: a space in your midfield and you want to go
- 37:56Speaker 4: for se Menu, I'm all up for that, I think,
- 37:59Speaker 4: by by them, by all the Bornou players really yes, agree.
- 38:02Speaker 3: George, Yeah, absolutely okay, and.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Jeles has got the message that we're going a bit quicker.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Just a couple of names to throw in that I
- 38:11Speaker 1: know we're mentioned on off the bench and I Praz
- 38:13Speaker 1: talked about Inzo Fernandez earlier this week. Let's start with him.
- 38:18Speaker 1: I mean a player returning points at his price point.
- 38:20Speaker 1: For me, it's a bit of a no brainer, and
- 38:22Speaker 1: particularly in Chelsea's form at the moment, Sam, it just
- 38:24Speaker 1: depends if if you've got a slot for another budget midfielder.
- 38:28Speaker 4: I guess yeah, if you've got Kels. If I was you,
- 38:31Speaker 4: I'd be absolutely going in Bomotor Enzo Fernandez save some men. Yeah,
- 38:36Speaker 4: I think I would because you look at the way
- 38:39Speaker 4: that Chelsea are playing, with the amount of attacking potential
- 38:43Speaker 4: that they have and the fixtures Brentford, Everton, Fulham, It'swich Palace,
- 38:47Speaker 4: Born with Wolves, then man City, then west Ham Brighton.
- 38:50Speaker 4: I I don't think there's a game that's from sixteen
- 38:55Speaker 4: to twenty five. I don't think there's a game in
- 38:56Speaker 4: there where they don't score more than one goal.
- 38:59Speaker 3: And they're the best attack in the league as well.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's true.
- 39:01Speaker 4: So I think across those games they're going to score
- 39:04Speaker 4: at least on average, they'll score at least a couple
- 39:06Speaker 4: of goals per game, probably more like three. And Enzo
- 39:10Speaker 4: Fernandez has got this newer role where because of Lavia
- 39:14Speaker 4: and Cassado, he's paying a little bit more further forward
- 39:16Speaker 4: and he's looking really great. So I just think he
- 39:20Speaker 4: having him alongside Partmer, Palmer's going to get to a
- 39:22Speaker 4: point where, like last season, nothing happens when Palmer returns
- 39:27Speaker 4: points because he's so heavily owned. We're heading back to
- 39:30Speaker 4: that point again. So doubling him up with Enzo Fernandez
- 39:34Speaker 4: or Jackson makes sense. And because Enzo Fernandez is that
- 39:38Speaker 4: much cheaper than Jackson, I think he's the way I'd
- 39:40Speaker 4: go always agree.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, and I think ends always my differential. Maybe
- 39:44Speaker 2: two or three weeks ago for the old there's reasons
- 39:46Speaker 2: that we've mentioned. The fixture list, his new position higher up,
- 39:49Speaker 2: the bitch, the fad that they scored so many Gordon,
- 39:51Speaker 2: they are such an attacking side.
- 39:53Speaker 3: I would even trouble up because I've got.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Palma Jackson and maybe this weekend or the one after,
- 39:58Speaker 2: I bring Enzo in and have in those three chess
- 40:01Speaker 2: prize I think would be really good going forward.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, And finally, Arling Harlan Joe's you sold him.
- 40:07Speaker 1: I can't believe we haven't actually mentioned that.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I don't even know who that is. Man.
- 40:10Speaker 1: How if it Well, we did mention it on last
- 40:13Speaker 1: week's pod, I guess, but I just felt like we
- 40:14Speaker 1: should mention it. Yeah, feeling good about it. He's still
- 40:16Speaker 1: happy with that decision. He's never been happy since he sold.
- 40:20Speaker 2: No exactly, Still, I don't know. I guess it's everybody's choice.
- 40:26Speaker 2: I almost kept it because I felt so invested in
- 40:28Speaker 2: the Hailand project, which his sounds weird.
- 40:30Speaker 3: I know it does, but still, and then I watched
- 40:34Speaker 3: him last night.
- 40:34Speaker 2: In the Champions League, for example, in a game against
- 40:37Speaker 2: you Venture to where where he had okay, he had
- 40:39Speaker 2: one chance to the good goalkeeper said, Apart from that,
- 40:41Speaker 2: he hardly touched the ball in the box and certainly
- 40:43Speaker 2: not in a good position.
- 40:44Speaker 3: So I'm like, okay, yeah, they're clearly as.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Well as they're struggling defensively, they're even struggling to create
- 40:49Speaker 2: something with the ball, even with KDB coming back for them,
- 40:52Speaker 2: was on the bench, so it was, yeah, it's one
- 40:55Speaker 2: of those. But he can go and score hat trick
- 40:56Speaker 2: this weekend and then I would obviously be fuming or.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I just keep watching him with my eyes like this
- 41:02Speaker 3: and my hands like Sam always says, and hope for
- 41:07Speaker 3: the best.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Still a self for you, Sam, Yeah, still a sell
- 41:11Speaker 1: for me. It's not really about Harn And it's just
- 41:13Speaker 1: about the others.
- 41:13Speaker 4: Like I think you want Palmer, you want Saka, you
- 41:15Speaker 4: want Salah, you probably want Trent back soon, Like you
- 41:18Speaker 4: can't have everyone, so Harna.
- 41:20Speaker 1: As the sacrifice. Okay. Just a quick reminder then of
- 41:22Speaker 1: the suspension update. The players that picks up the fifth
- 41:26Speaker 1: yellow cards of the season, so we'll miss game week sixteen.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Pedro Nesso, Calvin Bassi, Bibacari, Samara, Eve's pursumer Emerson and
- 41:33Speaker 1: Shwau Gomez. Alexis McAllister is still suspended for Game week
- 41:36Speaker 1: sixteen after his game always postponed. A bit more kind
- 41:40Speaker 1: of prevalent for FPL managers because I know a lot
- 41:42Speaker 1: of people still have Rico Lewis. His red card that
- 41:43Speaker 1: we mentioned means he will also miss at the upcoming
- 41:46Speaker 1: game week and of course the likes so Jack Stevens,
- 41:48Speaker 1: Benton Kerr, and Tom Kearney all remain suspended. Alex Moreno,
- 41:52Speaker 1: by the way, will also miss game Week sixteen because
- 41:54Speaker 1: he's ineligible to face his parent club. Okay, then differential
- 41:58Speaker 1: of the week, and it was a good week last week,
- 42:00Speaker 1: particularly for Sam. She went with Ahmad and he got
- 42:03Speaker 1: five points, got an assist in United's defeat to Forrest
- 42:06Speaker 1: My time. I've got just two points though, Juels, So
- 42:08Speaker 1: who are you going to go with this week?
- 42:09Speaker 3: So I think Anderson.
- 42:10Speaker 2: We've mentioned Borne with already a little bi and I
- 42:12Speaker 2: think you either way.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Sam's got head in hands me. She went for him
- 42:16Speaker 1: as I did.
- 42:18Speaker 4: I don't have I don't have a backup, so we
- 42:20Speaker 4: must have to have the same one, Jeorge.
- 42:22Speaker 3: If you've got a backup, absolutely not. If I've ever
- 42:26Speaker 3: had a.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Couple of times, sometimes I did, but I didn't have.
- 42:31Speaker 4: A backup, because normally if you win the week, you
- 42:33Speaker 4: get to pick fans like I don't need a backup
- 42:39Speaker 4: this week. It's fine, we'll share him.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Well both, you're like two children. I'm not sure we can't.
- 42:45Speaker 1: You'd be very good at they're nicely together, can't we as.
- 42:48Speaker 2: We love a neck tattoo. So it's Sevan Anderson for you,
- 42:51Speaker 2: four point six percent owned by managers. You've cost you
- 42:54Speaker 2: six point one million. We said the pictures are great,
- 42:56Speaker 2: worst and we can't repeat everything. He was unlucky against
- 42:58Speaker 2: first because he's ex is almost zero point six. I
- 43:01Speaker 2: think he was very good and just lacked a little
- 43:04Speaker 2: bit of efficiency. Not so good against Ipswich.
- 43:07Speaker 3: But yeah, I've got a lot of faith in Born
- 43:09Speaker 3: with going forward in those games.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Coming up, in which case I'll go for some meno
- 43:14Speaker 4: and stick for the same game because a lot of
- 43:16Speaker 4: the stats I've got work joals Son Michael, I'll take
- 43:21Speaker 4: the blame for that.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Sorry, Sam, all right, that's okay.
- 43:24Speaker 4: So Born with the top for expected goals across the
- 43:25Speaker 4: league in the last six game weeks. In that time,
- 43:28Speaker 4: they've been expected to score sixteen point five to five goals. Now,
- 43:32Speaker 4: obviously the three penalties in gaming thirteen. Do you have
- 43:35Speaker 4: an impact on that? But they have had an XT
- 43:37Speaker 4: year of over tier in most fixtures that they've had
- 43:39Speaker 4: so far in those six weeks. The only negative to
- 43:44Speaker 4: say in all of this is that they actually should
- 43:45Speaker 4: have scored four and a half goals more on the
- 43:48Speaker 4: XG stats than they have, so they have been a
- 43:50Speaker 4: little bit wasteful in front of goal. They're going to
- 43:52Speaker 4: face a west Ham team who are the fourth worst
- 43:54Speaker 4: four expected goals conceded in the same period they've got
- 43:58Speaker 4: eleven point sixty seven actually see over the last six weeks.
- 44:02Speaker 4: So I think the warmth attack clearly Jors and I
- 44:06Speaker 4: agree on this is the way to go.
- 44:08Speaker 1: So if I can't have Evanilson, then I'll have some
- 44:10Speaker 1: Menua instead. He's six point nine percent.
- 44:12Speaker 3: Nine.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you've told me to bring an Enzo Fernandez over him.
- 44:15Speaker 1: It's because you guys don't want me to have any
- 44:16Speaker 1: Bomus attackers because you've both got one. I see through
- 44:19Speaker 1: it now. Okay, let's finish on transfers and captains. It's
- 44:23Speaker 1: Thursday morning, Jules, have you decided what you're doing?
- 44:26Speaker 2: Not really no, absolutely no, But I'm thinking Enzo, maybe
- 44:31Speaker 2: for Brendon Johnson Ballot Brandon Johnson and he's been returning
- 44:33Speaker 2: quite regularly, or Morgan Rogers because the others are salad,
- 44:37Speaker 2: so there's there's just no room there. So I'll see
- 44:40Speaker 2: what I do. But that's that might be the one. Oh,
- 44:42Speaker 2: I just rolled the transfer.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Okay, Captain, did you say? Captain? S?
- 44:46Speaker 3: Captain?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Now that Moslla is back, the conundrum is a bit
- 44:50Speaker 2: do we stick with Palma is on fire he went
- 44:52Speaker 2: for that home or do you go from Mosala at
- 44:54Speaker 2: home to Fulham?
- 44:56Speaker 3: And I do think.
- 44:56Speaker 2: That Anthony Robinson could defend well on Mossala too, So
- 45:00Speaker 2: it's one of the two and I'm not sure which
- 45:03Speaker 2: one yet.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Okay, Sam, I think I'm going to roll my transfer
- 45:07Speaker 4: this week. I really like my team, so at the moment,
- 45:09Speaker 4: the transfer I was thinking about making was to go
- 45:11Speaker 4: from Rogers to Enzo Fernandez. But I actually would have
- 45:14Speaker 4: no way to play Enzo Fernandez this week because Rogers
- 45:18Speaker 4: is currently sat on my bench, so I'm kind of like, well,
- 45:20Speaker 4: it feels like a bit of a wasted transfer. I
- 45:22Speaker 4: might as well just wait for next week and maybe
- 45:24Speaker 4: let's do it then. So probably going to roll In
- 45:27Speaker 4: terms of captaincy, I am in the uncertain camp. I
- 45:32Speaker 4: think because Socca, Parma Salah all have fabulous fixtures. Also
- 45:37Speaker 4: actually think so Lanky could do well against the Southampton
- 45:41Speaker 4: back line the way that he presses. So at the
- 45:44Speaker 4: moment my bust team captain is on Salah. I think
- 45:47Speaker 4: I'm probably going to leave it there, but I do
- 45:49Speaker 4: really like the idea of captain and Socca. Again, maybe
- 45:53Speaker 4: I'm just the glutton for punishment with soccer. He seems
- 45:55Speaker 4: to blank every time my hand in the armband, but
- 45:58Speaker 4: I do really like that fixture for for Arsenal at
- 46:00Speaker 4: the weekend. So for me, I'm I think I'm going Salah,
- 46:04Speaker 4: but Pa Moresaka could end up wearing the band.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Don't get it wrong, Sam, I can't get it wrong again.
- 46:11Speaker 4: There's so much pressure now to get it right this
- 46:13Speaker 4: week because otherwise you'll catch me.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I don't think I'll catch you. I think this might
- 46:16Speaker 1: be the closest I get, but I'll give it a
- 46:18Speaker 1: good go, that's for sure. Guys, as always, thank you
- 46:20Speaker 1: very much. That was a bit of a bumper podcast,
- 46:22Speaker 1: but hopefully we've helped you with all the info you
- 46:24Speaker 1: need on the mystery chip as well. As I said,
- 46:26Speaker 1: do head over to Fantasy dot Premier League dot Com,
- 46:28Speaker 1: and the Premier League app. Not only is that all
- 46:31Speaker 1: the usual team news and all the other information to
- 46:33Speaker 1: help you manage your teams, but of course all that
- 46:35Speaker 1: additional info on the mystery chip. We'll also be discussing
- 46:38Speaker 1: that on the Fantasy Show on Friday. Sam will be
- 46:40Speaker 1: with me in the studio for that as well. Sam
- 46:42Speaker 1: and Oscar will also be back with Off the Bench
- 46:44Speaker 1: on Tuesday to reflect on Game week sixteen ahead of
- 46:47Speaker 1: our return next Thursday for Game Week seventeen. But your
- 46:50Speaker 1: deadline is the only time I've said it. Actually, this
- 46:52Speaker 1: is a little bit later this week. It's one thirty pm,
- 46:54Speaker 1: ninety minutes ahead of the four three pm kickoffs on Saturday.
- 46:57Speaker 1: There is no early game and no Friday night football.
- 47:00Speaker 1: You've got a little bit longer to sort out your teams,
- 47:02Speaker 1: which isn't in my case always a good thing. Anyway,
- 47:05Speaker 1: I have a good game week, guys. I'll see next
- 47:06Speaker 1: week by bye.
