  would find this interesting. It's strange to watch this video

  because this is long after he and I stopped being friends.

  This is to the point in the Drunken Peasants podcast when he

  was a part of that before his host Ben ended up screwing

  everything up for everybody. He had this moment of clarity.

  I don't know what happened. He doesn't appear to be high or

  kind of did. I mean, honestly.

  Days I've gone back and looked at it, I looked at it and I

  don't really think that's the case.

  Like he was the top atheist on YouTube for a long time.

  It's a sad but. Then me and you know, captain,

  like he was like the first big YouTube atheist by what big was

  in those days? Do you remember based on like

  the I mean like today. I mean, it'd be like the

  equivalent of probably getting like wow.

  So. I mean, yeah, then he was

  popular at the time. First of all, he was making more

  interesting videos. Second of all, the standards

  were lower. You know, this whole vlogging

  thing hadn't been explored too thoroughly yet.

  And you know, he was a little, she was sharper than he was, a
• 2:43
  little bit smarter than he is now.

  Shit. All right, so the reason why he

  claims that I was sharper back then are that I seemed more

  intelligent to him because at that time I was also calling

  myself an atheist. The moment I opened my mind and

  said no, I'm not into this lack of belief in deities anymore and
• 3:13
  I believe in God, a lot of atheists, including himself,
• 3:17
  ended up stabbing me in the back.

  A lot of atheists, they treated atheism like it was a religion.
• 3:23
  It was one of the reasons why I started getting turned off.

  And it was one of the things that helped me open my mind
• 3:29
  because I realized that atheists were not freethinkers.

  They weren't skeptics. They were a group of people who
• 3:37
  were, who all had the same thought process, the same.

  It was like being in the board, ladies and gentlemen.

  If you didn't agree with another popular atheist or two atheists
• 3:51
  didn't agree, then the next, then you should expect that tons
• 3:54
  of videos were going to get made about you attacking you and not
• 3:59
  in a way where they were trying to refute you or trying to
• 4:02
  correct you on something, but in order to try to embarrass you or
• 4:05
  humiliate you. You probably noticed that
• 4:09
  atheists who run podcast they identified themselves.
• 4:15
  It's like they constantly They say that atheism simply means
• 4:19
  lack of belief in deities. But everything about them,
• 4:22
  including their moniker, their personality and everything is
• 4:26
  wrapped up into their atheism. The same way whenever you're
• 4:31
  around homosexuals or transgenders, everything's about
• 4:35
  transgender. Everything's got to be about
• 4:37
  their sexuality with atheism. Everything's got to be about
• 4:41
  atheism and all that. You can't be.
• 4:44
  It's really difficult and challenging to remain friends
• 4:49
  with a person who, if you're not in the same ballpark with them
• 4:54
  and you don't wear the same label, then they'll simply have
• 4:58
  nothing to do with you. They'll shit talk you, they'll
• 5:00
  trash you. And I got to admit, it was odd
• 5:04
  for me to make the change going from all these people saying
• 5:08
  that they love me and care about me and all that.

  I knew whenever I was making my first video to admit that I was
• 5:18
  open to God and that I actually enjoyed the presence of some
• 5:22
  Christians out there and that I feel like my position is moving
• 5:28
  towards there's more to the universe than we came from
• 5:32
  nothing. An explosion somehow created
• 5:35
  order this ordered universe. I knew that.

  I knew that some atheists were going to probably turn on me,
• 5:44
  but I did not think that it was going to be so bad that I would
• 5:49
  find myself one day just, well, not just one day, but for years
• 5:55
  and years being attacked over and over by non believers.

  I did not think that that would happen.

  I knew that there were going to be some people who are going to
• 6:05
  be like Pratt, what are you doing?

  I knew there was going to be Skype conversations and stuff on

  Discord whenever I used to use Discord where people would say

  what happened? What why did you change for?

  I knew there were going to be questions because I was such a a

  big popular atheist, but I didn't expect people to wish
• 6:26
  death a pardon me, I I didn't expect the supposed rational

  thinkers to go out of their way to go even beyond me and attack

  my kids and my family and make phone calls over and over and

  send me emails and make comments wishing death upon me and

  talking this mad shit about my loved ones.

  I had no idea that leaving atheism was going to affect my
• 6:58
  family out there who've tried to start businesses and have the

  success. Many of you probably wonder to

  yourself, why doesn't Brett King's brother Justin Keene ever

  make guitar videos anymore? Why does he rarely make a video
• 7:12
  and why doesn't he talk? Why does he just play guitar and
• 7:16
  doesn't share his views? Well, the truth is, is, although

  my brother's not a, you know, like a extreme Christian or
• 7:26
  anything, he's actually in a pretty bad ass heavy metal band,
• 7:30
  a death metal band called Black Death.

  Ever since he started doing YouTube and people found out

  that he was my brother, they won't leave him alone.

  They go to his Facebook and they go to his comments on his
• 7:44
  YouTube channel. And instead of encouraging him
• 7:48
  on guitar and telling him what a great guitar player he is and
• 7:52
  how much they love their his music, they spend all of their
• 7:55
  time insulting the hell out of them just simply because he's
• 7:59
  related to me. My sister has a YouTube channel

  and a few atheists ended up finding out where she's at.

  I haven't given out her name or her channel or anything like
• 8:10
  that for people because the people who have found her
• 8:16
  channel and her Facebook, they got all over her.

  They just wouldn't leave her the hell alone.

  She is a Christian. She's been a Christian for a a
• 8:26
  very long time, but she doesn't ever make videos having anything
• 8:30
  to do with God or religion. She's more in the fashion and
• 8:34
  style and makeup and all that kind of stuff.

  It's that kind of channel, not something the majority of the
• 8:41
  people who watch me would probably be interested in.

  But she didn't deserve what she got.

  She still does videos from time to time, but she has told me in
• 8:52
  the past, and so is my brother repeatedly, 'cause I said to my
• 8:56
  brother, I said, look, you're making thousands that you're

  getting thousands of views and stuff in your guitar videos.

  Why are you stopping for? You're one of the best guitar
• 9:05
  players on YouTube. And he said bro I I don't

  appreciate making videos and then having these people come
• 9:13
  over and insult the living piss out of me.

  He and I even thought that it would be a good idea.

  A while back I actually suggested this, which was a bad

  idea that we should in order to get atheist podcast off his ass.

  Why don't we make a music video actually dedicated to atheist?

  We thought we would do something that would be fun and silly.

  Instead, they attacked my brother even more.

  It was terrible. So now a lot of my family

  members, they don't like using it.

  And I've even had family members tell me, Brett, is it really

  worth it? Do you really want to do this?

  These bastards go to your Facebook.

  They take your stuff, they take your material and your content.

  They're even stealing your songs and they steal videos and then

  re upload them. Or they'll do a podcast and

  steal your videos, pause your face on the screen and then talk

  trash about you for 20 minutes with four other people who
• 10:18
  always tend to be non believers. You'll notice when watching
• 10:22
  Atheist podcast, they normally do not have like a a Christian
• 10:27
  host or somebody of a faith. It's always a group of atheists.

  If you watch my channel, you'll notice that I don't make people
• 10:37
  pay money to come into my podcasts.

  That's one thing #2 I'm always public where I allow everybody
• 10:44
  to come in #3 it doesn't matter if you're an atheist or if
• 10:48
  you're a Muslim or Pagan to whatever the deal is,
• 10:52
  everybody's welcome into my room.

  And as long as you're at least, you know, 17 years old and
• 10:59
  you're considered an adult in Missouri, you're allowed to come
• 11:03
  in and you can chat. And even though I'm spiritual
• 11:06
  and I'm religious and I believe in God, I don't care about the
• 11:10
  language that people use. All's I asked is that people
• 11:14
  don't do things that will violate terms of service and
• 11:17
  community guidelines. I don't think that that's
• 11:19
  strict. It's just me trying to survive
• 11:22
  on YouTube. I just don't simply want to lose
• 11:24
  my channel over somebody being a dumb shit.

  I've even had to tell some of my buddies, look, if you can't
• 11:31
  control yourself on the show, then go make your own show.

  Go do your own thing somewhere else.

  And a lot of them had to end up taking my suggestion on that.

  But that's the deal. That is, it's sad.

  I really did. Whenever I was a former atheist

  and I was transitioning over to believer in God, that's what I
• 11:58
  called myself. I wasn't sure for a long time if

  I wanted to label myself a Christian.

  I just wanted people to know I do believe in God.

  And at that moment I was trying to validate to myself or confirm
• 12:14
  which God that is. Or is there one God?

  Is there many gods? All's I knew is that I had some
• 12:20
  personal experiences happen and I was unsure at the time how I
• 12:25
  was going to present myself. A lot of you may not know this,
• 12:30
  but when I started believing God, I thought maybe there was
• 12:35
  two ways I was thinking about this.

  I was thinking should I continue to make videos because if I make
• 12:43
  videos then it may cause some disturbance.
• 12:48
  I didn't think it would be as bad as what it turned out to be.
• 12:52
  But then there was another side to me that said why did I have
• 12:55
  the personal experiences in the 1st place?
• 12:58
  Maybe God seen me as I. I remember this Christian woman

  told me a while back, and it's one of the things that moved me
• 13:05
  in this direction. But she said, Brett, even though
• 13:08
  you're an atheist, she goes, you know so much about the Bible.
• 13:13
  You know so much about the faith, you know so much about
• 13:16
  the culture. You're so intelligent that if
• 13:20
  you were to ever become a Christian, you would be a
• 13:22
  warrior. You would be incredible and you
• 13:26
  would understand the atheist. Sorry, I got some in my throat.

  Let me take a drink. She said to me that if you, if
• 13:44
  you got out there, you comprehend, atheist, atheist
• 13:48
  listen to you and they understand you.

  They know that you were the real deal and that you've always had
• 13:55
  this genuine, sincere thing about you and you speak from the
• 13:59
  heart. So people will listen and you'll

  be able to help a lot of people. You'd be able to sow a lot of
• 14:05
  seeds, bring a lot of people to the realization that God is the
• 14:11
  rational decision. That's what she believed about
• 14:14
  me. So I got to thinking to myself

  and I talked to my wife about it.

  And my wife at the time thought it would be a good idea even

  though we were in the middle of getting fired upon by non
• 14:28
  believers. Even whenever I was still known

  to the community as an atheist for some reason.

  Some non believers. Right before I became a
• 14:40
  Christian. Right before I announced that I
• 14:43
  was a complete 100% theist and sure that there was God, my wife
• 14:49
  was doing a YouTube channel and there were some non believers
• 14:52
  who were attacking her. Some of them actually got a hold
• 14:55
  of her on Facebook and tried to get her to be involved with
• 15:01
  them. They were telling her basically
• 15:03
  that they wanted to have sex with her and they're being
• 15:06
  really, really foul and really nasty and shit.

  You know, why don't you leave him?

  You want a real man and all this kind of crap.

  It was ignorant. My wife had to lock down her
• 15:20
  Facebook so people couldn't just get in.

  And she won't add anybody as a friend unless she knows who they

  are or if they're associated with the family and close

  friends. And that's what it's been like.

  It's one of the reasons nowadays, ladies and gentlemen,

  why this guy here on the screen, even though he said all these

  truthful things about me, it's one of the reasons why I don't

  like Atheist anymore. They discussed me and they're

  gross to me. It's he's one of the reasons why

  I don't go on to Atheist podcast anymore because a lot of the

  people who also had their own podcast who were basically

  copycatting off of him. If you'll notice, every atheist

  podcast out there wants to be the next Drunken peasants.

  They want to do the whole let's record people steal their

  videos, talk shit all the time kind of deal.

  The TJ Kirk was the first one to actually come up with an actual

  successful atheist podcast. As far as I know, I didn't see

  anybody else doing anything. Five, eight years ago, podcasts

  were just starting to become a thing, and he was one of the

  first ones that actually came up with a thing where you got four
• 16:49
  or five guys, you run your fucking mouth, play some videos

  on the screen and do that. I was one of the first ones to

  do live streaming where I would host and bring people in for

  sure. And that was even before GOD TV

  Radio, but he was the one of the first ones that actually came up

  with the concept of atheist podcast.

  Just look back in time, just anybody that's been around,

  you'll probably know there was no other group out there and any

  group after that that was atheistic.

  Every single one of their podcasts.

  You can't see one podcast where they're not basically ass

  kissers of the original DP. Not Ben's version of Drunken

  was bringing the bread home. He was the breadwinner of the

  show. He was the talent and when he

  left, it was over. It's that simple.

  knew that if Ben had any intelligence at all, he would

  have done exactly what TJ told him to do.

  He would have followed orders. He would have followed the

  commands and shit and done what he was supposed to do.

  But instead, he started thinking that he was important.

  He started letting his narcissism get to him.

  He wasn't listening. He wasn't doing what TJ told

  him. And the next thing you know,

  been the tech guy that he was supposed to and every once in a

  live, if it's just my clips along with him talking, even if

  it's reactionary, they got the biggest views of all.

  500,000 to 1,000,000 views. That's why a lot of people keep

  bringing me into the picture. They keep saying, you know, you

  should go back on there, you should do this because they're

  not really interested in benefiting me, but they know

  that it would benefit him. I get that.

  I understand, but the reason why I don't enjoy going on the show,

  ladies and gentlemen, is because EJ doesn't want to actually talk

  about some of the things I'm interested in.

  There's a lot of things about TJ that people don't enjoy.

  Like, for instance, a lot of people who watch him, they're

  gamers. This guy is not a gamer.

  I'm into a lot of different kind of comedy.

  Some people, some comedians he and I share a liking to like.

  I like Bill Hicks and I like George Carlin back in their

  prime, but a lot of other stuff we don't really.

  We don't really mix. I like discussing theology in

  the universe and consciousness. I like talking about deep

  things, about the existence and meaning and purpose of life is

  where TJ would prefer talking about whacking off and shitting

  his pants. You see, it's very difficult for

  us because when he makes videos, it seems like every once in a

  while he can bring up a topic. But you'll probably notice

  nowadays, the TJ, his videos have become irrelevant.

  He's too lazy to even make a decent video anymore, and he

  mostly requires for you, the audience, to come up with topics

  because he doesn't even know what to talk about anymore.

  Me, I've always said that the world is the devil's playground.

  How can you not have something to talk about?

  There's so much bullshit in the news, so much bullshit with

  politics, so much crazy shit going on with atheism and

  And then whenever I go over to their channel and I hear them

  almost immediately when clicking on one of their shows, hearing
• 24:19
  them talking about what the original Drunken Peasants was

  like, or they've they're following Deep Fat Fried or some
• 24:27
  shit. I know exactly what I'm getting
• 24:30
  into. It just takes like a few minutes
• 24:31
  of looking and you'll know that these people are just looking
• 24:35
  for somebody that they can bounce off of.

  They want someone that they can mock and make fun of and yell at

  and scream at like the original 1 did because they think it'll
• 24:45
  bring them the same success that the original Drunken Peasants

  had. And I'm simply not interested in

  that. And you got to understand too, I

  am not a super wealthy person. So if I'm going to sit there and

  use my fucking time up to be with a bunch of people who are

  antagonistic or nasty, I expect to get a fucking paycheck.

  A lot of these podcasts out here, they make a lot of money.

  They sell merchandise, they sell a bunch of shit, and then they

  just want you to be a free guest that they can insult and attack.

  And it's like, no, the Amazing Atheist, he actually treated his

  podcast like a fucking business. He said, Brad, if you come on

  the show, I'll pay you $1000 for pop.

  Well, right then and there, it's like, well, fuck, what kind of

  fucking idiots not going to go on a show and not get paid?

  And I knew, and some of you may be disappointed in hearing me

  say this, but I was a lot more calmer than I normally AM

  whenever I was on the show because I knew a lot of it was

  kayfabe. I know it was for entertainment.

  So I didn't have this idea in my head that when I go on the show,

  I was just going to give them enough to be able to say, hey,

  The money was good, $1000 from sitting for two hours and shit
