- 0:36Speaker 1: Got clamps and I've got all this sort of stuff.
- 0:39Speaker 1: At least three hands. And everything's going on and then
- 0:43Speaker 1: the conversation starts.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Why do they do it?
- 0:46Speaker 1: They know. I mean, they know we can't talk. Have
- 0:51Speaker 1: you been flossing?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Well, no.
- 0:53Speaker 2: What, do I blink three times for yes and four
- 0:55Speaker 2: times for no and six times for help, call triple zero?
- 0:59Speaker 3: I don't... I mean, seriously, it's obviously some kind of
- 1:03Speaker 3: dentist in joke.
- 1:05Speaker 1: This is the thing.
- 1:06Speaker 2: This is the first rule of dental club is talk
- 1:11Speaker 2: to the patient when the mouth is.
- 1:14Speaker 1: When they're completely incapacitated.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So, but it, you know.
- 1:20Speaker 3: There's only so much you can say with a thumbs
- 1:21Speaker 3: up or thumbs down.
- 1:22Speaker 1: He's got a new machine too.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he's got a new, you know how
- 1:26Speaker 1: they do the polish? Machine that goes big? Well, no,
- 1:29Speaker 1: it's an even higher pitch than I remember.
- 1:32Speaker 2: So it's even more terrifying.
- 1:37Speaker 1: You're telling me my teeth are good, but why is
- 1:39Speaker 1: that sound so distressing? Like the guys that made the
- 1:43Speaker 1: Saw movies. Yes. Sounds like that.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yes. Oh, it's just, thank God my teeth are good.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I walked out, I got a clean bill of health.
- 1:54Speaker 2: He was very, very happy, which is quite amazing for
- 1:57Speaker 2: a set of chompers as old as mine are.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I've never had a filling.
- 2:03Speaker 3: You've never had a filling?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Never, ever, ever had a filling. Oh, okay, wow.
- 2:08Speaker 2: No.
- 2:08Speaker 1: It was a little bit of a chip.
- 2:11Speaker 2: On my tooth that they put a little cap on, um,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you know, a few years ago, but that's the nearest thing.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Never had a, never had a, uh, gingivitis is all good. Ginger.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I knew if I threw that word at you.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Hey, why should I be the only one who has
- 2:27Speaker 2: distress about going to the dentist?
- 2:29Speaker 1: I'll share my pain with you.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Oh, it's terrifying. I didn't go for years because I
- 2:32Speaker 3: was so scared, but it's come a long way. However,
- 2:36Speaker 3: they do still like a chat. They don't understand it
- 2:39Speaker 3: because they do know.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yeah. And then, of course, when they take everything out,
- 2:42Speaker 1: there's nothing left to say except, oh, very good.
- 2:44Speaker 2: We'll make you another appointment in six months. It's just cruel.
- 2:51Speaker 2: That's a little gag for the dentists.
