- Malcolm: So I want you to look at this. I'm about to share the screen really quick. And I want you to just look, take a look at what this like what is actually rolling up under Skydance now. So this is more than just like it being like a crazy deal or you know, something like that. So you seeing this? Thomas: Yeah, yeah, I can see it. Malcolm: This is everything that Skydance owns now. So yes, I just talked about all those numbers and all those like crazy like debt that they're going into to like own it. But let's think about everything that they own now. They have Paramount, Warner Bros. DC Universe, CNN, Paramount Plus, CBS, Nickelodeon, HBO Max. And so you may like you may be familiar with like the like overarching kind of like, but but like, bro, beneath that. They have Discovery, Pluto TV, HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime, Harry Potter, Nickelodeon, Paramount Sports, The Food Network, CNN, which is a a new like let's think about let's think about this. CNN, a major media news outlet, Cartoon Network. They have New Line Cinema, they have BET. BET is that not black black and hey, like I said, hey, HCTV. You have Thomas: Yeah. Malcolm: like you have like pretty much Every angle of media and and and and like like television, like pop, bro, like bro, Thomas: They own everything. Malcolm: they own everything. And I don't know if you Thomas: Right. Malcolm: guys, like I say, I don't want to get too too, you know, radical, maybe the word. I don't want to get too like like off the walls here, but like you guys know what it means when when you own enough of these media outlets and you get to decide the type of things that are portrayed and put into the homes of people that subscribe to these media outlets. You you understand the power that you kind of hold and the type of things that you can the type of propaganda and messages you can send to like people that watch these these things, right? Like so like people that own these media outlets and you can do your own research to understand who those families and who those specific people are and what type of political parties and and and just type of things that they stand for, the type of like stuff that they like, you know. portray and and put out constantly. That's another story in itself, which we won't cover today. But one company having all of this rolled up to them gives them in in this kind of like insane advantage. And let's also think about what this means for for the future of of subscription based pricing. If all this is rolled up under Paramount, they essentially have a monop that when we talk about monop monopolies, this is like a a these are literal monopolies. And I was watching a video the other day If you think about it, everything in America is a monopoly, bro. Everything, every, every all of our favorite things are ran by a monopoly. Our favorite, Thomas: Allegedly. Malcolm: allegedly, right?
