- 0:13SPEAKER_00: No, I'm good.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: That's not super fulfilling from a conversation.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: I want to get to know who are these people and why do they love it so much, right?

- 1:38SPEAKER_01: I'm excited to guest host your 100th podcast episode.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: And today you are the guest.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: So welcome.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: No, I'm I'm excited, grateful that you're willing to guest host.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Um I've had several people ask, you know, when are you going to be interviewed?
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, this is probably as good a time as any.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Thank you for being being willing.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: So as the host, I want to start by asking the same question that you ask everyone, which is, how did you get into the elevator industry?
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a great question.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: So um, you know, 20 years ago, I was an HR guy, and then I jumped out, what was it, 18 years ago?
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: I jumped out of corporate America, got into recruiting, which is what I wanted to do.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: And actually it happened to be a cold call to one of the major elevator companies that kind of hit it off with the chief people officer.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And, you know, we need help, but we don't need help in manufacturing, which is a lot of what I was doing right then, working in just a variety of manufacturing companies.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And we need help in the field.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Can you do that?
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: And then all the while I'm asking myself, what does that mean?
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: What does in the field mean?
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And uh didn't take long for me to start on those searches, start talking to elevator people, and I'm like, okay, something is very different here.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: This is, I mean, I was recruiting for aerospace, automotive, food, chemicals all over, you know, different industries.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, what what is it that's that's so different?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: This is this is really cool.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I really like this.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: So that's that was my first leap into elevators, and and honestly, I've never looked back.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: So wait, just for clarity, so you only recruit for the elevator industry.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: I think that's correct.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: So for several years, I worked only with that company, like seven or eight years.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, they had some changes and my contact I retired, and it was like, okay, you know, we don't need your help as much.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: So I worked for another major for a time.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: But more and more I was really, you know, being drawn into elevators.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: I'm like, this is this is where I want to be.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, for the past several years, um, you know, it's all we do is focus on the elevator industry.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: Very cool.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: So, since this is a podcast episode about your podcast, let's focus on that a little bit.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: So, what caused you to start this elevator podcast?
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So I I think honestly, when I started to realize, okay, this is a special place.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: These are, these are just the culture's different, the community's different.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: The everything about elevator space is so different from all these other industries that I had worked in.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: And and, you know, making uh, you know, new, new relationships, new acquaintances.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, I want to, I want to learn more about this.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: And so as I continued to dive into that, I and that's really about the time I realized, okay, if I'm gonna work in elevators, I really only want to work in elevators because I want, I want to be all in.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: And and that's when I, about the time I started thinking about, you know, wanting to do a podcast because I wanted to get to know people better than just, hey, do you want a new job?
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: No, I'm good.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: Okay, bye.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's like, okay, that's not super fulfilling from a conversation.
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: I want to get to know who are these people?
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: Why do they love it so much, right?
- 4:48SPEAKER_00: What what is it that that they're so passionate about?
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Because this is this is exciting to me.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: And it it was it kind of drew me in.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: So yeah, as I started thinking about, okay, let's let's do a podcast, right?
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: Let's have these conversations.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: I remember calling my brother.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: He is is a cowboy, he got all the cowboy jeans.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: He he's a cattle rancher in Oregon.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: And I was telling him about it, I'm like, hey, Greg, I think I want to do this, but I am scared spitless.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: And he was like, if you think you want to do it, if you feel like you know, that's a desire, you need to do it.
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: And if you don't, I'm gonna come down there to Georgia and I'm gonna kick your butt.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: I was like, all right, gotta do it.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: So you're on your hundredth episode now.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: So when you when you meet someone at you know a bar or whatever and they ask, what do you do for work?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Do you say that you are an elevator recruiter or an elevator podcaster?
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: So that's a great question.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: A lot of times I'll I'll say I'm an elevator recruiter and podcaster.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: And and they're like, What?
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: What does that mean?
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: So when you started this, did you think you would get to 100 episodes?
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I I never even I've never even thought about the number of episodes.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Honestly, it wasn't really until my my editor brought it up.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: She's like, You realize you're approaching 100 episodes?
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I never really thought about it.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, I love the conversations, right?
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I still enjoy it every single time.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Getting to know the people, getting to know their story.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: So no, it never, never even crossed my mind that we'd that we'd be talking about 100 episodes.
- 6:16SPEAKER_01: So okay, that's a that's a big milestone.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: So walk me through kind of the journey to get here.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: What what was that like?
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: I mean, there's a lot that goes into that, right?
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, one episode at a time.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: And I remember in the early days, I didn't have an editor, right?
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I was I was doing it all on my own.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: I was trying to trying to learn how to do it.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: And I was even asking myself, like, is this just stupid?
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: Am I gonna fall on my face and and be embarrassed that I even tried?
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: And so I I called some contacts, some clients, some some people that I really respected in the industry.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: And I was like, would you even listen?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: Would you even want this?
- 6:51SPEAKER_00: Oh no, that sounds good.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Okay, well, here's the million-dollar question.
- 6:54SPEAKER_00: Would you be willing to be a guest?
- 6:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, I'll I'll be on it.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay.
- 6:59SPEAKER_00: So I had enough of those conversations.
- 7:01SPEAKER_00: I was like, okay, I've got some some willing participants.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: If I'm if I'm willing to stand up, they're at least willing to go there with me.
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: And I think that was a huge step in initially just just getting it, getting out the gate.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: Um, obviously I learned pretty quick that okay, I don't need to be creating it and editing it and uh you know doing all that.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I I just couldn't.
- 7:21SPEAKER_00: So um had to bring somebody else on, and and that's been super helpful to have the editor and not have to worry about that.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you so you mentioned the editor.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: I think most people probably don't really or certainly I didn't.
- 7:33SPEAKER_01: I was a guest on one of your previous uh podcast episodes, and I learned a lot about what goes into a podcast episode.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: Can but you mentioned the editor.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: So can you for people that aren't aware, what like walk us through everything from booking a guest to the recording, the editing, publishing.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: What are all the things that you do?
- 7:55SPEAKER_01: What's the process?
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, the the biggest thing, first thing is is to get buy-in, right?
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: Hey, would you would you want to tell your story, right?
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: That's a fascinating story.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: I'm love, I'm glad that you you told me that.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Or wow, you have a really unique uh approach.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Would love to talk to you about that.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: And then just getting the buy-in.
- 8:12SPEAKER_00: And then from there, it's it's I think it's not as difficult as it was in the early days.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: I've gotten used to it.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: I've done it a few times, right?
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: But it's like, hey, let's let's set up a time to to kind of talk about go in-depth to your story, right?
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: What what are the the key points?
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: What were the the key decisions that you made?
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: And let's make sure that we capture those in the in the interview.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: And then once we kind of have a uh I don't script it out right, but I do like to have certain questions or certain this is where we want to go.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: And then it's just a matter of getting on and let's record it, let's hope for the best and and recognize that if we need to cut something, we can, but um, we don't end up cutting a lot, honestly.
- 8:51SPEAKER_00: A lot of it is just, hey, let's let's just keep it real and and raw and go with it.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: So when when you were doing it all yourself, how much effort goes into one episode?
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: So there's at least an hour in the recording itself.
- 9:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, you've done a hundred of these.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: How many hours of effort can we say goes into each one times a hundred?
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's that's hard to say.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, each one, there's there's a good hour of just preparing uh the the pre-podcast conversation I'll call.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: And then there's conversation itself, the recording.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: But then even before that, it's like creating intros, recording this episode is, you know, so and so spoke with me.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and I feel like we've we've streamlined that a bit, right?
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: But remember in the early days, it was it was hard, and I wanted to make sure that everybody was good with, okay, here's what I'm gonna say about you.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: And um I remember stressing, right?
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: Trying to get one episode out, and it's like, hey, Monday, I want to get it out at like 1 p.m.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: and I couldn't get a hold of the person.
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: I finally tracked them down, like, are you good with this?
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: Got the nod, and but it was just a ton of stress, especially in the early days.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: And I try to stay ahead.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And and a lot of people will know that if you've been a guest, you know that it's not gonna come out the next week.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: It might be, might be a couple months, right?
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: Because I I want to have enough content because there was another time when I was due to have something, and and the people that had had said they would be on and make it, you know, hey, I had to have a uh change of plans, I'm going out of the country or whatever.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: And so I was going through my Rolodex, and you know, who who do I know that um I could I could call on?
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: And and that's honestly, and that's been one of the amazing things about this industry is how many people are willing to talk, to share their stories.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: And not that everybody's like free of all fear.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: We've had definitely those that are like, yeah, this is kind of scary, but but I'm willing and I want to.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: And and I think I just really respect those who are willing to stand up and say, yeah, let's let's talk about what I've learned and what I've done.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: And and hopefully this helps someone.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Out of out of all the episodes you had, is there a particular one that stands out?
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: I mean, I think the one that sticks out in my mind the most was the first one, right?
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: I was, yeah, a lot of anxiety.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: Like, what am I doing?
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Right, is this gonna be totally stupid?
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: But uh Don Jelestino has always been a big supporter, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: And and he was one of the ones that I reached out to and I said, Don, would this make sense, right?
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Does anybody want to hear this?
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: And oh yeah, would you be willing?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Of course, right?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Did a great job.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: And uh it was just awesome to have the support and have somebody like Don be able to tell his amazing story.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: And um yeah, it and it went, it went up really well, right?
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Better than I thought.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, okay, I can I can do this.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: That's not surprising to hear about Don at all.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: I've had a similar similar experience with him as well.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: So has hosting the podcast changed anything, maybe that you've learned or changed the way you think about the industry?
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: I think for me, it's a lot of ways, it's maybe made it, I wouldn't say smaller, but I feel like I know more people, right?
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: I've I've had an opportunity to to talk to a lot of people that maybe they've seen an episode or they they know me.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: And so I'm like, well, let me get to know you, right?
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Let's let's talk about you.
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's definitely made my work more enjoyable, I I think, right?
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Just getting to know people at a deeper level helps me make a better connection with them.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: And and I I think in in that regard, even my work as a recruiter, right?
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: It's not just about making a placement and and getting paid.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, I want to make a connection.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And so a lot of times I'll make connections without even any thought of, you know, pay.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: It's more like, hey, you need to know so-and-so because this guy thinks like you do.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: And I was very impressed with this conversation.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: So I think of myself as a connector as much as anything.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, now that's awesome.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: I want to go back to, you know, as we were talking before, you get a lot of feedback from people that actually listen to the podcast via email, text message.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: I think there's also you send a monthly email out, a lot of people reply to that and give you feedback.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: And then you also mentioned that you bump into people in person sometimes that are fans of the podcast.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: So can you share some of the feedback that you've gotten from some listeners on the podcast?
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, I honestly one of the most frequent pieces of feedback is just thank you.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: And it always touches my heart.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: It's like just to be appreciated.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: It's awesome.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: I do get several, I wouldn't say it's every single time, but it's but it's pretty frequent that I get thank you for what you're doing.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: Uh, it's making a difference.
- 13:18SPEAKER_00: It's making a difference to me.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: And some very specific feedback.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, just I think it was just last week, got an email from a gentleman who said, Hey, love what you're doing.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: And I'm not, I'm not gonna share his whole message.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: It was actually a little longer than I thought, but he said, Listen, I I started in the industry and spent a few years, and then I there was a layoff and some things happened, and I had to leave.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: He said, I've been listening to your podcast and I find it so inspiring.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: I'm making plans right now to get back in the industry because it reminded me how much I loved it, the passion I had for it, the excitement that was in my life every day.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: And I just really haven't had that since since I left.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: And so I'm I'm coming back and wow, that's cool.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: Um, and there was another gentleman who uh he had said to me, he was actually from from out of the country, right?
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: But he was in the U.S.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: trying to and and is, right, leading a business and and selling and connecting.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: He's like, I started listening because I wanted to get to know people in the industry, and you're like introducing me to them one after the other.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: And so as soon as you would do that, well, I would connect to them online.
- 14:15SPEAKER_00: I felt like I already knew them, and and boom, I could almost jump into a conversation with them because I'd heard their story and I and I felt like it was safe.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: I could just go ahead and connect and LinkedIn and and start talking.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: So I can say from firsthand, as someone who's previously been a guest on your podcast, that it brings in a lot of attention and and brings people reaching out to me.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: Do you think that it's influencing people to either stay or come into the elevator trade?
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: I I hope so.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: I mean, that I mean that's one of the topics that comes up all the time, is just that, you know, we need to attract the next generation.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: We need to attract those who are who are good with their hands and they're sharp and they're, you know, there's there does seem to be a large number, especially baby boomers, right?
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: They're retiring.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: Hey, had my 40, 50, whatever years in and I'm I'm ready to go, I'm ready to retire.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Are we getting enough people coming in with that same kind of drive?
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Obviously, you can't just replace 50 years of experience, but if you can get the right DNA coming in that are willing to learn and they're hungry, and I really hope that we're getting some of those folks to listen, or, or maybe grandma will hear it and share it with them or something so that so they start to say, yeah, that's that's a place I'd like to learn more about, right?
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: That industry.
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: Walk walk me through that because at the end of the day, you're catering to the listener.
- 15:38SPEAKER_01: So what is your goal with the listeners of the podcast?
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: And what are you hoping that they get out of it?
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: No, it's a great question.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, I'm catering to the listener in in a way, and and and maybe, and I'm not trying to be selfish, right?
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: But I I love what I do, right?
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: So I definitely there's a there's a huge part of me that does it because I love the conversation.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I do hope and I and I ask, I think pretty much every single guest, like what you know, what is something valuable you've learned, or what's a lesson maybe you tripped and landed on your face and then you learned something.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: Well, can we share that with with everybody else?
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: Because if we can learn from each other, then you know that's that's hugely, hugely beneficial.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Um and I think there's a a part of it too that whatever it is, right?
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And there's there's a lot of different pieces, and maybe we'll even talk about this, right?
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of pieces that make this industry special.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Can we can we keep a hold of that, right?
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: Can we continue to build it, foster it, nurture it so that we just don't just lose it or let it walk away and go, oh, that was fun 20 years ago and now it sucks.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I don't think any of us want to to look back and miss what it is that made this such a special industry or what attracted me when I when I first started working on these searches.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I'm like, okay, what what is this?
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Why is this different?
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: And and so I'm hoping to help preserve that.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Definitely.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: So we we've talked a lot about how you've gotten to this 100th episode and milestone.
- 17:03SPEAKER_01: But what about what's next?
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: What's the plan for the podcast from the future?
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: And um, I guess maybe what's the plan for the recruiting side as well?
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a great question.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Those are those are big questions.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: So, podcast-wise, as you know, right, because you were the very first of the uh elevator tools and tech, uh, we're calling it a series, right?
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: It's it's almost a separate podcast within a podcast, as it were.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: But um, we want to continue to build that out.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: We want to continue to give uh companies a chance to talk about what what they're doing, right?
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: You were launching new software.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And uh from the feedback, it sounds like it it really helped you get the message out, get people's awareness that, hey, this is coming, do a demo, right?
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: And and so that's been exciting to have people interested in, yeah, I do want to to get that out.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: I do want to be able to talk about what I'm doing.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: We definitely want to continue to build on careers.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: I also, as I've talked to more people, it's like, hey, we can we can do more to educate, we can do more to inform, we can do more to um, so we have had recently, they haven't gone live yet, but we've had a few more, just we can call them a panel discussion, right?
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: But get three or four people and let's let's talk about a topic or an issue or something that that maybe we're all wrestling with it.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: Are there ways to kind of make a I I've got a friend that leads mastermind groups, right?
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: And in a way, you get a few people together, it almost becomes a mastermind group, and you're you're kind of inspiring each other.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: And so the hope is we can continue to improve all across the the industry and and help help drive that, right?
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I don't know exactly, I guess, what where it's gonna go as much as we want to continue and we're loving what we do.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: I think maybe just for the other suppliers that are out there, the tools and tech uh series is definitely helpful.
- 18:51SPEAKER_01: So what Matt is talking about is he's he had me on and he's had other suppliers on to talk about the technologies or what they're supplying to elevator companies.
- 19:02SPEAKER_01: And it was really helpful for me to explain the problem that I'm solving, how we do it.
- 19:07SPEAKER_01: If you're a supplier in the industry, you should definitely reach out to Matt and get your story out there, explain what you do, what problems you solve for elevator companies, because it was really helpful for me.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: But what's amazing about that, Brad, is it was folks like like you, right?
- 19:21SPEAKER_00: But it was, hey, can we, can we, you know, use this platform to get to get the word out, right?
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: And so for that, in that regard, right?
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: It could be a company, it could be informational or educational or or whatever.
- 19:32SPEAKER_00: Let's let's use this platform to to inform, to, to send information out there.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: But I'm I'm just pleased to have the platform.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: I'm grateful that that it exists.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: And um, I guess just thinking back, I mean, you were one of the first fans like from the get-go, which is part of the reason I wanted to invite you to to do the interview today, because I think I had like one or two episodes out, you know, three and a half plus years ago.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: You're like, hey, want to talk to you about advertising.
- 20:00SPEAKER_00: At the time, again, because I was doing the editing and everything, I was just so overwhelmed and I was like, I don't even know how to think about that.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: I don't have room in my brain.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: So obviously it didn't go anywhere, but you fast forward a few years and it's like, all right, let's let's revisit that.
- 20:13SPEAKER_00: And I think in a way, uh, you know, maybe it's a little bit like Kevin Costner in the field of dreams, right?
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: If you build it, somebody's gonna want to, hey, can we share this?
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: And so why not?
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: Let's if it's gonna benefit somebody, let's let's do it.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: And Matt, I'm still a fan of the podcast.
- 20:33SPEAKER_01: Uh so happy to host it.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: So thanks for having me.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: But I'll end it in kind of the same way that you ended uh for me.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: If you could just let suppliers, recruiters, and potential guests on the podcast know how to get in touch with you to set up to be part of the podcast, to do a tools in tech, or for recruiting stuff, how can they reach out to you?
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: What are the steps for that?
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, you can definitely go to allredgroup.com.

- 21:20SPEAKER_01: It's a pleasure to be the guest host and to get to interrogate you a little bit.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: So thanks for having me, and I'll see you soon.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: Ah, thank you.

- 21:29SPEAKER_00: I appreciate it.
