Meet Maverick, a high-energy, love-starved pup rescued from neglect and now ready for his forever home at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office MASH Unit. Once found in rough shape during an investigation, he’s now full of joy, affection, and need of a yard to run in. The MASH Unit helps animals who’ve been victims of crime — rehabbing them with care and support from detention staff who build trust before adoption.
