Germany-based specialty chemical producer Evonik has announced plans to invest $100 million in its Tippecanoe Labs facility in Lafayette. Virginia-based defense contractor ManTech has received a nearly $200 million contract for work at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division in southern Indiana. Nearly 150 Indiana communities have received state grants for local road and bridge projects.
