- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. I don't think there is any doubt at
- 0:07this point that there is a cover up underway, and
- 0:11that we're only getting a portion of what the law
- 0:14requires the government to turn over. And even though they
- 0:18just released three million files, there's a lot that has
- 0:21been left on the table. And if the DOJ thinks
- 0:25this is going away and that people are just going
- 0:28to shrug their shoulders and say, you know what, maybe
- 0:32next time, they're crazy, because that's not going to happen.
- 0:36And I've never seen people more fired up ever about
- 0:40this subject. And I'm talking about people from all walks
- 0:44of life, people that are gen Z all the way
- 0:47up to my ninety three year old grandmother. So if
- 0:50the DOJ is waiting for everybody to get tired of this,
- 0:54to get exhausted, to get frustrated, and to move on,
- 0:58they're making a big mistake. And I think that people
- 1:02that work at the DOJ right now have to understand
- 1:05that they're not always going to be in power, and
- 1:08at some point there's going to be a reckoning, there's
- 1:11going to be inquiries, and hopefully there's going to be
- 1:14a special investigator, because that's what's needed. We need a
- 1:18special prosecutor to come in and have the power to
- 1:22really get things done, to investigate it the proper way,
- 1:26because the DOJ has been given ample time and plenty
- 1:29of space to do the right thing, and they failed
- 1:33every step of the way. So is that any shock
- 1:36that the Epstein dump has failed to quell the outrage?
- 1:41Today's article is from The Guardian and the headline new
- 1:45Epstein files failed to quell outrage as advocates claim documents
- 1:48are being withheld. Well, that's not just a claim. It's
- 1:51a fact, one hundred percent fact, that documents are being withheld,
- 1:57and it's also a fact that, unfortunately, there's not much
- 2:01that we can do about it. That's why it's important
- 2:04that we keep the heat on and we make sure
- 2:06that our elected officials understand that this topic, this problem,
- 2:10isn't going away, and that until they deal with it,
- 2:14it's going to be like in albatross hanging around their neck.
- 2:19This article was authored by Victoria B. Kempis. The release
- 2:24of about three million Jeffrey Epstein investigative files has failed
- 2:28to quell outrage over Justice Department officials handling of the disclosures,
- 2:33with advocates claiming potentially millions of documents are still being withheld. Yeah,
- 2:39that's not a claim, that's a fact, one hundred percent effect.
- 2:42And they're going to rely on the bullshit ass protections
- 2:45they have of saying that it's an ongoing investigation, or
- 2:49it's confidential due to national security, or whatever other bs
- 2:54they can come up with. And that's why, at the
- 2:56time of the law being drawn up, I said that
- 2:59it should have some kind of function that holds people
- 3:02accountable if they're not in compliance with what the law says.
- 3:06Because we all knew the DOJ was going to play games.
- 3:10They're going to do whatever they want because they know
- 3:13that nobody's going to hold them accountable. Donald Trump's Department
- 3:16of Justice was required to disclose all investigative files by
- 3:21December nineteenth under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. While the
- 3:27Justice Department did release some documents on that date, last
- 3:31week's disclosure came nearly six weeks after the deadline. And
- 3:34it's while that the Justice Department, of all institutions, treats
- 3:39a deadline like it's not mandatory. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche,
- 3:44who served as Trump's criminal defense lawyer told reporters last
- 3:47week that this disclosure marked the end of a very
- 3:51comprehensive document identification and review process to ensure transparency to
- 3:56the American people and compliance with the Act. Literally neither
- 4:01of those things occurred. There's been no real transparency and
- 4:05you miss the deadline. What are you even talking about
- 4:07right now? Baby Billy Blanche? Has there ever been a
- 4:11bigger moron in his position? I mean, he might be
- 4:14the worst Deputy Attorney General in the history of this country.
- 4:18And that's saying something. After submitting the final report to
- 4:24Congress as required under the Act and publishing the written
- 4:27justification for redactions in Federal Register, the Department's obligations under
- 4:33the Act will be completed. Blanche said, in other words,
- 4:37you're getting nothing else. In other words, nobody's going to prison,
- 4:41nothing's going to happen, and we just got to deal
- 4:44with the fact that the curtain's been open. Now you've
- 4:46been given a look in the room, but there's nothing
- 4:49you can do about it. Do they really think that
- 4:52things are ever going to go back to the way
- 4:54they were? Do they think that this is just going
- 4:57to go away and people are gonna forget nobody trusts
- 5:00the institutions, and certainly nobody trusts the DOJ, And unfortunately
- 5:06for them, it's all their own fault. And the craziest
- 5:09thing is, instead of trying to fix the problem, they
- 5:12just keep doubling down. They just keep making things worse. Usually,
- 5:17when you find yourself in a hole, you stop digging,
- 5:20but not the Justice Department. No, Instead, they accelerated the process.
- 5:25He also said that while the Justice Department had found
- 5:28more than six million pages being identified as potentially responsive,
- 5:33that was because we err on the side of over
- 5:35collection of materials from various sources to best insure a
- 5:39maximum transparency. He's literally lying again, and I'm getting real
- 5:45tired of baby Billy Blanche lying to me. If this
- 5:49guy is qualified to be the Deputy Attorney General, then
- 5:53I'm qualified to fly one of those new stealth bombers.
- 6:00The mist deadline and up to three million files that
- 6:04remain unreleased have prompted criticism and calls for further disclosure
- 6:08to answer how Epstein's sexually abused girls with impunity for
- 6:12decades and landed a sweetheart plea deal about twenty years
- 6:16ago that allowed them to avoid federal prosecution and nobody's
- 6:20asking for too much here. People are asking for basic answers.
- 6:25And you know what, if you idiots would have done
- 6:28your job in the first place, we wouldn't even be here.
- 6:31Epstein would have been behind bars in two thousand and
- 6:34eight for decades, and you would have saved all those
- 6:37girls who came after the abuse. But no, Instead, Jeffrey Epstein,
- 6:42of all people, had to get the sweetheart deal of
- 6:45a lifetime. But sure, we need no explanation about how
- 6:50that occurred. The government continues to avoid accountability and has
- 6:58argued that they are not responsible for Epstein's abuse of
- 7:01hundreds of victims, said Jennifer Plotkin of Merson Law, which
- 7:05represents more than thirty victims. The release of the files
- 7:10proves the government failed the victims over and over again.
- 7:14There needs to be a class action suit like there
- 7:16was with Larry Nasser. That has to happen because the
- 7:20government refuses to do the right thing. They're not going
- 7:25to hold anybody accountable, and they're going to continue to
- 7:28try and make it out like there's nothing that can
- 7:30happen here, like there's no ramifications for the people who
- 7:34are involved in this. And I say that's bullshit. Every
- 7:39single person who was involved in the NPA, from the
- 7:42state level to the federal level, should be held accountable.
- 7:46And if it's found that you did anything untowards you
- 7:49should have your pension rip from you. And if there's
- 7:52some kind of indictment that you can be hit with,
- 7:54then that should happen too. But the big problem here
- 7:58is there was never a real investigation, and that's why
- 8:02we keep coming back to where we are. You can't
- 8:05push something under the rug for decades and then when
- 8:08it's exposed say, hey, you know this is old. We
- 8:11don't need to worry about this now, bitch. We do,
- 8:15and you should have been worried about it while it
- 8:17was happening. Doctor Ann Oliviaris, a woman's rights attorney and
- 8:23founder of law firm McAllister. Oliviaris said the disclosures have
- 8:28not lifted the veil on Epstein's ongoing evasion of justice
- 8:31until his twenty nineteen prosecution. We have plenty of files
- 8:36on Epstein's depravity. What we're missing are the files on
- 8:40his immunity. She said. The question isn't just who was
- 8:43on Epstein's plane, but who made the phone call that
- 8:46stopped the two thousand and seven investigation. Bingo, that's the
- 8:51real question. Don't get caught up on the salaciousness. I've
- 8:55told you that a million times. That's a side quest.
- 8:58The biggest issue here is this systemic corruption and the
- 9:01systemic protection that he's had for decades. That infrastructure needs
- 9:05to be dismantled, and the people that were involved, they
- 9:08need to be held accountable. A disclosure is not complete
- 9:13if it tells us something about the criminal but nothing
- 9:16about the shield. Olivieris also pointed to the dramatic difference
- 9:21between how many documents were identified as possibly pertinent versus
- 9:26how many were published. The DOJ initially identified over six
- 9:30million pages of interest, yet we have seen roughly half
- 9:34of that. They claim the rest are duplicates or non responsive.
- 9:38Olivieris said, as an attorney who has spent my career
- 9:42fighting for transparency in cases of systemic abuse, I'm suspicious
- 9:47of this because the determination of what is responsive is
- 9:51made by the party holding the documents. It's right for
- 9:54tactical misuse. And then we get back to the trust issue.
- 9:58Do you trust Paumbondi, Do you trust Todd Blanche? Do
- 10:02you trust cash Ptel? Do you trust Donald Trump. I
- 10:07most certainly don't, so I'm not giving you the benefit
- 10:11of the doubt. You haven't earned it. In fact, you've
- 10:13earned the opposite. I distrust everything you have to say,
- 10:18because you've proven yourselves to be liars time and time again.
- 10:22And unfortunately that trend is not only continuing here, it accelerates.
- 10:28News website Radar Online, which filed a lawsuit more than
- 10:32eight years ago after the FBI fail to disclose Epstein
- 10:36files under an April twenty seventeen public Records Foyer request,
- 10:41also said last week's disclosure was insufficient. In addition to
- 10:45the many questionable redactions the public has identified, the DOJ
- 10:49has acknowledged that millions of Epstein's records were fully withheld.
- 10:54A spokesperson for Radar said, we have asked the Second
- 10:57Circuit Court of Appeals to send our foya came back
- 11:00to the District court so we can directly challenge any
- 11:03efforts to undermine transparency. Well, good for them, and kudos
- 11:08to Radar for taking the fight to the DOJ. Jennifer Freeman,
- 11:13the Marshal Law Firm attorney representing Maria Farmer, has said
- 11:17these disclosures have been a mess from the start, fill
- 11:21with missdeadlines and have fisted redactions while exposing the identities
- 11:25of survivors. And there's no doubt that that's happening. I've
- 11:29pointed that out numerous times now. They really missed the boat.
- 11:34If the job was to get redactions, right, boy, they
- 11:37fucked up. This fight isn't over. We won't allow the
- 11:40federal government to simply dump a couple million documents wash
- 11:44their hands on one of the largest law enforcement failures
- 11:47in US history. Freeman said, at this point, we have
- 11:50more questions than answers. Where's the rest of Maria Farmer's
- 11:54FBI file? Where are the records of complaints that so
- 11:58many other women made to the FBI, and how the
- 12:00FBI investigated those complaints? And why is the DOJ hiding
- 12:05the names of perpetrators while exposing survivors. Top Democrats, meanwhile,
- 12:11have slammed the handling of these files, as Blanche doubled
- 12:14down on the Justice Department's work, with him telling ABC
- 12:17News on Sunday, this review is over. Imagine imagine having
- 12:23the audacity to look the American people in the face
- 12:26and tell us that we're witnessing a full blown cover up.
- 12:30Congressman Jamie Raskin, the Maryland Democrats said on CNN's State
- 12:34of the Union, and YO, I really don't like to
- 12:37agree with Jamie Raskin, but he's not wrong. He's telling
- 12:42them the truth. This is a cover up. I called
- 12:47it out the day it started and will continue to
- 12:51call it out until it ends. They've said there are
- 12:56six million potentially responsive documents there. You released three million
- 13:01with more than ten thousand redactions. What about the other
- 13:04three million files? Seid Raskin, who's a ranking member of
- 13:08the House Judiciary Committee. We're just getting the dribs and
- 13:11drabs of information coming out, the stuff they want us
- 13:15to see. The Guardian contacted the DOJ for a comment
- 13:20about criticism. A DOJ official said in an email, this
- 13:23is a tired narrative. Just because you wish something to
- 13:26be true doesn't mean it is. The Department produced more
- 13:30than three and a half million pages in compliance with
- 13:33the law and is disclosed to the public and to
- 13:35Congress what items were not responsive in accordance with the Act.
- 13:40They're so confrontational with everything they do, whether it's ice
- 13:44operations or whether it's talking to the American public like
- 13:48this that needs to end. They need to understand they
- 13:53work for us, not for MAGA, not for Donald Trump,
- 13:56for the American people as a whole. And it's going
- 13:59to be very interesting to watch all this hubris turn
- 14:01into fear when the reckoning comes, because I'm telling you
- 14:06right now, there's going to be questions that need to
- 14:08be answered, and if the Republicans lose the House and
- 14:13Senate during midterms, yo, it's going to be a Maelstrom.
- 14:17And guess what, I'm here for it. The official also said,
- 14:23I assume all members of Congress read the actual language
- 14:27before voting on it, but if not, our press release
- 14:30and letter to Congress clearly spells this out. So in
- 14:33other words, what they're saying is, fuck you. You didn't
- 14:36put any kind of teeth in the law, so we're
- 14:39not going to follow the law, and then we'll throw
- 14:41the law back in your face. That's what they're saying,
- 14:45and they're saying it with impunity. They really believe that
- 14:48this is the end of it, that they're not going
- 14:50to have to answer any more questions about Epstein and
- 14:54their failure to comply with the law. But they're making
- 14:57a big mistake because nobody's buying their nonsense, and we're
- 15:01certainly not moving on. All of the information that goes
- 15:06with this episode can be found in the description box.
