- 0:04Speaker 1: Hester and Hester got it fat a foe from.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Carrying each other to and Natty to carrying each other
- 0:11Speaker 2: on the.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Air were there's prop Control.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Live from the Raising Kine Studio. It's off the Bench, all.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Right, welcome back here o TV our number three, Jacolane
- 0:59Speaker 3: here with you. So Taylor, I thought about you yesterday
- 1:06Speaker 3: as I was doing my NFL show, because like on
- 1:11Speaker 3: that show, Pat's look, Pat's seventy five years old. Pat's
- 1:14Speaker 3: been a GM Pat's been a front office member. So
- 1:16Speaker 3: Pat's got a way of doing things, and it really
- 1:18Speaker 3: aligns with the way I do things. Like there's a
- 1:20Speaker 3: lot of shows that are going to take somebody else's
- 1:22Speaker 3: list and they're going to look at them and make
- 1:24Speaker 3: a segment out of the list, and that's okay. That's
- 1:26Speaker 3: a lot of people like to do that. Well, Pat's
- 1:29Speaker 3: kind of like me, a little bit of old school, like, Hey,
- 1:31Speaker 3: if we're going to do it, let's make our own list. Like,
- 1:33Speaker 3: if we're going to do it, let's put our name
- 1:34Speaker 3: on it. Let's come up with us. So we've been
- 1:36Speaker 3: doing that over the last couple of shows about quarterbacks,
- 1:38Speaker 3: like heading into the twenty twenty six seasons. So we
- 1:40Speaker 3: did that yesterday here in the top five. Well, I
- 1:44Speaker 3: gave my top ten yesterday and one of the names
- 1:47Speaker 3: I left off got a lot of interaction. A lot
- 1:49Speaker 3: of people were not very happy with me that I
- 1:53Speaker 3: did not include this quarterback in the top ten. Now,
- 1:56Speaker 3: if I'm trying to remember who I had, I think
- 1:59Speaker 3: I had had Stafford had Alan Mahomes, Burrow Golf Lamar,
- 2:06Speaker 3: Drake May, Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, Jaydeon Daniels. Jayden came
- 2:12Speaker 3: in at number ten because I think Jaye's gonna have
- 2:13Speaker 3: a bounce.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I know you're about to say that they were mad
- 2:15Speaker 4: about I don't know if you do. I do. I
- 2:18Speaker 4: think I think people were pissed that Jordan Love wasn't
- 2:21Speaker 4: on that list, and I think Jordan Love has no
- 2:23Speaker 4: business beaing it.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Not really, it was not Jordan Love a long a.
- 2:26Speaker 3: You're gonna take a guess who was?
- 2:28Speaker 5: I mean, like, I didn't mad I tuned out a
- 2:31Speaker 5: little bit.
- 2:31Speaker 3: There was there was there was really one that was
- 2:33Speaker 3: like here, and then there was another that A couple of.
- 2:36Speaker 6: People are Matt, you left this person off your top ten.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yes, and again, so I had Stafford, I had Alan,
- 2:41Speaker 3: I had Mahomes, Burrow, Golf, Lamar, Drake May, Caleb Williams,
- 2:49Speaker 3: Justin Herbert and JD.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Five.
- 2:52Speaker 5: I'm gonna guess bo Nicks and then I'm gonna guess
- 2:59Speaker 5: Daniel Joe.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Those two good guesses, two good guys. Because like Oenix
- 3:03Speaker 3: was like the honorable mention for me, he was one
- 3:06Speaker 3: of them. He was one.
- 3:08Speaker 6: I guess.
- 3:09Speaker 3: There was somebody and God loved him. There was somebody
- 3:11Speaker 3: that was at the airport and he said he actually
- 3:18Speaker 3: was going to probably miss his flight because he didn't
- 3:21Speaker 3: want to go through TSA, because he wanted to get
- 3:24Speaker 3: through on the phone lines to tell us why we
- 3:26Speaker 3: were wrong. Jack about No, No, about Jalen Hurts, about
- 3:31Speaker 3: Jalen Hurts. Now it's not the top one. There was
- 3:33Speaker 3: a guy who said I might miss my flight because
- 3:35Speaker 3: I didn't want to go through TSA and not be
- 3:36Speaker 3: able to yell at y'all about not having Jalen Hurts.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I'm like, it's never that Jalen Hurts had nine games
- 3:41Speaker 3: where he threw for less than one hundred and eighty
- 3:42Speaker 3: five yards. Nine it's you aren't. I don't think you're
- 3:47Speaker 3: going to get it, And that's kind of my point.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I was shocked by how Rock Party oh okay, and
- 3:54Speaker 3: I started I started to think. I was like, this
- 3:56Speaker 3: is this the calls that I'm getting in the way
- 3:59Speaker 3: that people are right now? I feel like Taylor would
- 4:02Speaker 3: have this same tape.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I love Brock I'd consider him from my top ten,
- 4:06Speaker 4: but I wouldn't be mad that he's not. Oh mad,
- 4:08Speaker 4: I think he's I don't know, man, I mean, if
- 4:11Speaker 4: you love Brock, you probably have him at nine. If
- 4:13Speaker 4: you hate him, you probably got him at fifteen. I
- 4:15Speaker 4: think I think that's where brock Party falls. I mean,
- 4:17Speaker 4: I don't. I don't mind that he's not on the list.
- 4:19Speaker 4: The reason I guess Jordan love and Jalen hurts because
- 4:21Speaker 4: is everybody fell in love with them and get pissed
- 4:23Speaker 4: when they're not on the list. No, I don't like
- 4:25Speaker 4: I like brock Party, one of my favorite quarterbacks. I
- 4:27Speaker 4: love the underdog story. I think he's been really good
- 4:30Speaker 4: in San fran But I don't. I don't mind him
- 4:31Speaker 4: not being on the top ten. I don't think I
- 4:33Speaker 4: put him on my top ten.
- 4:34Speaker 5: But can I say that like the reason why I
- 4:36Speaker 5: feel like that's kind of weird. And why I wouldn't
- 4:38Speaker 5: put him in my top ten is because Mac Jones kind.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Of did the same thing, the thing that I said.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Yeah, like mac Jones went in there and was seven
- 4:47Speaker 6: and three.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, right, when he's seven and three, he was I
- 4:50Speaker 3: got it rid here, pretty sure he was. But that's
- 4:53Speaker 3: why I said, I said, it's no slight a brock Party.
- 4:55Speaker 3: I think Brock Party's a good player. Yeah, but mac
- 4:58Speaker 3: Jones went in there and played pretty good. Yeah, right,
- 5:01Speaker 3: put up big numbers. And I said, also, brock Party's
- 5:03Speaker 3: never played a full NFL season, like that plays into it. Yeah,
- 5:06Speaker 3: he's been through his own injuries, and the callers like, yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 3: he can't help that. I said, nobody can help injuries, right,
- 5:12Speaker 3: They're injuries, right, they happened when you don't want them
- 5:14Speaker 3: to happen. Also, and again, I do think Brock's a
- 5:17Speaker 3: good player, So I don't want to make it sound
- 5:19Speaker 3: like I'm throwing too much shade at him. He's never
- 5:22Speaker 3: played a season outside of his first year, and he
- 5:24Speaker 3: only played nine games where he's not had double digit interceptions. Yeah, eleven, twelve,
- 5:28Speaker 3: and ten. He threw ten interceptions in nine games last year.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Do you think that he gets more hype than he
- 5:35Speaker 5: deserves because he was mister irrelevant?
- 5:41Speaker 3: Maybe hype, maybe a tension, Yeah, for sure. But again
- 5:45Speaker 3: I think Brock's probably he's the top fifteen quarterback for sure.
- 5:48Speaker 6: But like for you to say he's top ten, like
- 5:50Speaker 6: I just the.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Top ten I gave, who are you trading straight up
- 5:54Speaker 3: for Brock Purty?
- 5:55Speaker 4: That's my point? Probably no, Yeah, because like if Jayden
- 5:58Speaker 4: comes back fully healthy his injuries, he's on there. Caleb,
- 6:03Speaker 4: we all expect to take even another step forward, Like
- 6:05Speaker 4: I don't, and Justin Herbert's just been bet, I don't.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I don't know who I would take off.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah, Pat, and I usually agree with like a lot
- 6:12Speaker 3: of stuff in our top ten was kind of the same.
- 6:15Speaker 3: He had Caleb Williams sixteen and he had Jaden eighteen.
- 6:19Speaker 4: So who did he have in if he took those
- 6:21Speaker 4: two out? Who did he have in Istepton that you
- 6:23Speaker 4: did not?
- 6:24Speaker 3: I'm trying to think top ten was guy he had
- 6:28Speaker 3: one name. I'm trying to think who it was, because
- 6:31Speaker 3: he certainly didn't have Caleb in there. I'll think about
- 6:35Speaker 3: who it was. It might have been, even been Jordan
- 6:37Speaker 3: Love to your point from a little bit earlier, which
- 6:41Speaker 3: we didn't have any fallback really from Jordan. It wasn't
- 6:43Speaker 3: too many people. Jordan love a lot of.
- 6:46Speaker 4: People nationally that love him. Matt loves him, Matt, Matt
- 6:49Speaker 4: does love him. I've never understood the hype. The guy
- 6:53Speaker 4: got a huge deal after playing eight good NFL games,
- 6:55Speaker 4: and he's been kind of a roller coaster of up
- 6:57Speaker 4: and down since then. He has moments where he looks
- 6:59Speaker 4: like top five quarterback. He's got moments where he looks
- 7:01Speaker 4: like the twentieth best.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Quarter It was. It wasn't Jordan Love, it was Sam Donald.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I'm okay with that.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Sam's an interesting one because last year he did though
- 7:10Speaker 3: for four thousand yards, he had twenty five touchdowns. He
- 7:13Speaker 3: also threw fourteen picks.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah, so it's funny you say that, and when I
- 7:19Speaker 4: bring this guy off, everybody's gonna say, oh, Ty, let's
- 7:21Speaker 4: because you're a big fan of this guy. No, it's
- 7:23Speaker 4: because it's because everyone said he had a down year,
- 7:26Speaker 4: and he did compared to his first two years. But
- 7:29Speaker 4: all you heard last year was well, Baker Mayfield keeps
- 7:32Speaker 4: turning over the ball. Baker had eleven interceptions, brought party.
- 7:35Speaker 4: I mean Sam Donald had fourteen. Sam Donald also lost
- 7:38Speaker 4: two fumbles as well. He gets sixteen turnovers. A year ago.
- 7:41Speaker 4: He was great in the playoffs, and honestly, I doubted
- 7:43Speaker 4: him all year. I was like, he's gonna collapse in
- 7:45Speaker 4: the playoffs just like he did in Minnesota. He didn't.
- 7:48Speaker 4: I mean, he won the damn Super Bowl. He was awesome.
- 7:49Speaker 4: But I that defense was great. I mean, Philip Rivers
- 7:54Speaker 4: almost went in there off the street and outdueled him
- 7:56Speaker 4: and beat that team. If it wasn't for that defense,
- 7:58Speaker 4: Like I think Donald took huge step forward. I don't
- 8:01Speaker 4: know if I put him in my top ten, yet
- 8:06Speaker 4: I like him.
- 8:07Speaker 3: You could really sit here and just talk about the
- 8:09Speaker 3: twenty twenty four quarterback class and have a great conversation
- 8:13Speaker 3: and a great debate now, JJ McCarthy, Michael Pennock Junior, Sorry,
- 8:17Speaker 3: you're not in this conversation. Nine, you're not in this
- 8:20Speaker 3: conversation either. This is four quarterbacks that have strived to
- 8:24Speaker 3: be great, and I just don't know how great you
- 8:28Speaker 3: want to be. Right now. Think about Drake May, Jaden Daniels,
- 8:33Speaker 3: and bow Knicks have all at least made the conference
- 8:35Speaker 3: championship games. Already. Drake May made the Super Bowl. Caleb didn't,
- 8:40Speaker 3: but he had an incredible playoff run right, one of
- 8:42Speaker 3: the better plays you'll see in playoff history, to keep
- 8:45Speaker 3: one of those games alive. Those four guys, those four
- 8:49Speaker 3: guys have a chance to be like the eighty three
- 8:51Speaker 3: draft that we always talk about with Marino and Kelly
- 8:54Speaker 3: and that whole group. What they've already done so far
- 8:58Speaker 3: early in their career is remarkable. Four guys that have
- 9:02Speaker 3: already been to the Divisional round, the playoffs, three have
- 9:06Speaker 3: been to a conference championship game, one's already been to
- 9:09Speaker 3: the Super Bowl. And I would say, look a year ago,
- 9:12Speaker 3: Drake May had the best year of that group. He
- 9:14Speaker 3: threw for forty four hundred yards, completed seventy two percent
- 9:19Speaker 3: of his passes eight point nine yards per attempt, which
- 9:22Speaker 3: is remarkable. He threw thirty one touchdowns only eight interceptions.
- 9:28Speaker 3: If we were having this conversation last year, I would
- 9:30Speaker 3: have given you Jaden's numbers, because Jayden had a generational
- 9:34Speaker 3: rookie year. The twenty twenty four class is going to
- 9:37Speaker 3: be one that we're gonna be talking about fifteen years
- 9:41Speaker 3: from now. Is one of the best we've ever seen.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Yeah, it reminds me of the eighteen class, right Josh Allen,
- 9:46Speaker 4: Sam Darnold, Baker, Mayfield, Lamar Jackson. Outside of Josh Rosen,
- 9:49Speaker 4: who was the cockiest of the group and said that
- 9:52Speaker 4: he thought he went too low, but he went ten. Overall,
- 9:54Speaker 4: that's been a really good class as well. Like there's
- 9:56Speaker 4: some out there that are historically bad, there's some that
- 9:58Speaker 4: are really good. I think both of those are awesome.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I want our guy JD five to have a big
- 10:03Speaker 3: bounce back years.
- 10:05Speaker 5: I don't worry about the people that are around him
- 10:10Speaker 5: as far as the weapons. Yeah, Like they just gave
- 10:12Speaker 5: Scary Terry an extension what last season and he got
- 10:16Speaker 5: injured and barely did anything when he was on the field,
- 10:19Speaker 5: and then Deebo he's a free agent, right.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's still free He didn't have his best year,
- 10:24Speaker 4: but honestly, the more reliable guy that he was, and
- 10:29Speaker 4: even he didn't have a great year and he's gone.
- 10:32Speaker 3: They drafted Antonio Williams at A Clemson in the third round.
- 10:36Speaker 3: They signed Brian Brown out of Jacksonville Van Jefferson, who's
- 10:41Speaker 3: just a journeyman at this point.
- 10:42Speaker 4: He's a solid player.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Our guy Chris Hilton Jr. Is there. He's an undrafted
- 10:46Speaker 3: free agent rookie, so obviously JD five knows him very well.
- 10:50Speaker 3: But to y'all's point, they didn't go out and make
- 10:52Speaker 3: a big splash. I think they're counting on Luke McCaffrey,
- 10:56Speaker 3: Bill Jayleen Lane. Yeah. Yeah, Show White signed.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Yeah, he's gonna take.
- 11:03Speaker 4: A lot off of Jaden's plate running the ball. I
- 11:06Speaker 4: think he was really good in Tampa last year, and
- 11:08Speaker 4: I mean what Tampa, But at some point in the
- 11:10Speaker 4: season they didn't have a starting offensive lineman on the field,
- 11:13Speaker 4: and like he was still productive behind that.
- 11:15Speaker 5: But Terry got to make that contract worthwhile because he
- 11:19Speaker 5: did not last season, I.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Mean game city play he played. I mean he played,
- 11:25Speaker 4: so this is even more concerning. He played ten games
- 11:29Speaker 4: and eighty two yards and three touchdowns. I didn't think
- 11:32Speaker 4: he played that many games. That's that's not great numbers
- 11:34Speaker 4: for a guy that got top ten wide receiver money.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Right now, what they you know, if we're staying on Washington,
- 11:41Speaker 3: just real quick for our guy JD five, What they
- 11:43Speaker 3: did do is sign a ton of defense. Yeah, a
- 11:47Speaker 3: ton of defense. Our guy Meek Robinson, who works out
- 11:50Speaker 3: over at elite training academy every single day. He did
- 11:53Speaker 3: sign from Detroit. You've got Nick Cross coming over at
- 11:57Speaker 3: strong safety from the Colts. Calevon Chase signed from the Patriots,
- 12:01Speaker 3: so he's gonna be on the edge there for you.
- 12:03Speaker 3: They drafted Sunny Styles, one of our favorite guys in
- 12:06Speaker 3: the draft, so they had defensive issues all over the
- 12:10Speaker 3: place a year ago. So they tried to fix that
- 12:12Speaker 3: more than anything in free agency. But to your point,
- 12:16Speaker 3: we're wondering now, because we care about JD five, is
- 12:19Speaker 3: he going to have enough weapons. I would have liked
- 12:21Speaker 3: to see them bring in somebody else. And there's still
- 12:25Speaker 3: a guy out there that knows the area very well.
- 12:28Speaker 3: That's Stefan Dicks. He played at Marylands a year he did.
- 12:32Speaker 3: He played at Maryland. He's from the area. He could
- 12:35Speaker 3: have his family go to the home game. I know
- 12:38Speaker 3: he's got more issues in vogue right now going on.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Work for Big Stefan Diggs.
- 12:43Speaker 3: We are trying to get this because I don't get like,
- 12:47Speaker 3: if I'm the Chiefs, if I'm the commanders, one of
- 12:49Speaker 3: these teams that have a guy that really puts fear
- 12:54Speaker 3: into you, certainly a secondary option. He comes with a
- 12:57Speaker 3: lot I'm not giving him two years. I'll give him
- 13:00Speaker 3: a year. And if it didn't work out, how at
- 13:02Speaker 3: your boy? Yeah, but he did have a thousand yards.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Fair enough, a new system thirty two years old a
- 13:08Speaker 4: year ago. Not only did you have a thousand hords,
- 13:09Speaker 4: he didn't miss a game? Yeah, because of injury, Like
- 13:12Speaker 4: that's big. Think about what we were just talking about.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Jaden missed a ton of games. Terry McLaurin missed a
- 13:16Speaker 4: ton of games. Deeba missed a handful of games. Like,
- 13:18Speaker 4: can you just be available for Jaden to throw the
- 13:21Speaker 4: ball to because he's gonna have to get the ball
- 13:22Speaker 4: out quickly. I'm not sure about their own line either
- 13:25Speaker 4: this year. That was a big issue. But I mean
- 13:27Speaker 4: they could do worse. And stuff on Diggs.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Sugar get her gout some weapons, Yeah, I got Joe
- 13:36Speaker 3: Burrow's got some weapons. Go get jd five some weapons.
- 13:39Speaker 6: I agree.
- 13:40Speaker 3: And both their defenses were horrid last year.
- 13:43Speaker 4: And to talk about the rook that rookie class as
- 13:45Speaker 4: a whole, right, Like all of those offenses I think
- 13:49Speaker 4: got better from a year ago. I'm not sure about Washington.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Bo Nix was great with Courtland Sutton and the tight ends.
- 13:55Speaker 4: They had Jayalen Wattlell, who I think it's gonna be great.
- 13:58Speaker 4: We know what the Bears have short up the offensive line.
- 14:02Speaker 4: They got two really good running backs, I mean Drake
- 14:05Speaker 4: may And and the Patriots, and they should be better
- 14:07Speaker 4: on offense than they were a year ago. Like there's
- 14:10Speaker 4: a lot of.
- 14:10Speaker 3: That means they gave up Stephan Diggs and brought in
- 14:13Speaker 3: A J.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Brown, Right, I mean that's so that's another little bit.
- 14:18Speaker 4: I still think is really good. But I mean we'll
- 14:21Speaker 4: see A J.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Brown has talked about like he's J Chase sometimes and
- 14:27Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 14:28Speaker 4: I think he's better than Diggs.
- 14:31Speaker 6: I feel like that kind of lateral move.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I want to say, Digs have more receiving yards than
- 14:38Speaker 3: a J.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Brown.
- 14:38Speaker 5: You just traded stef Digs for stef On Diggs with
- 14:41Speaker 5: less drama by.
- 14:43Speaker 3: A few I don't know. A Ron comes with some
- 14:45Speaker 3: stuff too. This is more like his like his is
- 14:49Speaker 3: like in the locker room.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Yeah you know, I mean he's it's three years younger
- 14:55Speaker 4: than Diggs. He said a thousand yards four years and
- 14:57Speaker 4: around like he can still play.
- 15:01Speaker 3: All right, Laundr you gotta sorry smoking cowboy killers during
- 15:06Speaker 3: the break.
- 15:07Speaker 6: That's what I walk outside.
- 15:08Speaker 4: It sounds like we're a tuberculosis ward.
- 15:10Speaker 3: You were going to lose a lung over there. All right,
- 15:13Speaker 3: we will step away and when we come back, we'll
- 15:15Speaker 3: get to your munchie questions. Whether I got chef Michael Johnson,
- 15:19Speaker 3: So go ahead, get those munchy questions in. You can
- 15:22Speaker 3: get him inside the YouTube chat. You can text us
- 15:24Speaker 3: at two two five four four five. We'll get to
- 15:27Speaker 3: as many as we can right here on TV.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Off the Bench, Tigers turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Shut up.
- 15:52Speaker 7: Off jeez, say okay, right.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Right, all right, welcome back in oh TV here live
- 16:15Speaker 3: from the Raisin Caines studio. Always excited for our next segment.

- 16:25Speaker 2: Get ready to tantalyze your taste buds and leave this
- 16:28Speaker 2: segment hungry. This is Monkey's with executive Chef Michael Johnson.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Chef, what's going on? Brother? How we doing? How we living?
- 16:40Speaker 8: I'm great, guys, how are we all doing?
- 16:43Speaker 3: Fantastic? Glad to have you on here. Our guy Flynn
- 16:46Speaker 3: is in Saint Barts right now, so he's just gallivanting.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Somewhere in the the Caribbean there. So I guess we'll
- 16:53Speaker 3: start off with a question for me about maybe your
- 16:56Speaker 3: favorite Caribbean cuisine.
- 16:58Speaker 8: Yeah, man, you know, it's it's interesting when you say
- 17:02Speaker 8: Caribbean food. It's it's really difficult for me because I
- 17:05Speaker 8: have this food history book that I read, and you
- 17:07Speaker 8: know that, uh, the word Caribbean actually came from the Cannibals.
- 17:13Speaker 8: So they they had they had cannibes, right, and they
- 17:19Speaker 8: called it, they called it, they called them cannibes, and
- 17:22Speaker 8: that morphed into Caribes, and that's how they ended up
- 17:26Speaker 8: calling it the Caribbean. And and it all came because
- 17:30Speaker 8: when they when the uh uh settlers were coming west
- 17:34Speaker 8: over the over the ocean, they would end up in
- 17:37Speaker 8: the Caribbean and in those islands, and they were running
- 17:40Speaker 8: into people who were eating each other, right, And that's
- 17:44Speaker 8: how the word Caribbean came about. Yeah. Really nothing along
- 17:48Speaker 8: those lines, how about that?
- 17:49Speaker 3: Well, I hope not.
- 17:50Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, uh man, I don't know, you know, like
- 17:53Speaker 8: I I love jerk, I like, you know, like, I
- 17:58Speaker 8: don't know, I think it's of soul food, right, And
- 18:00Speaker 8: if you think about some of the food that you
- 18:02Speaker 8: get in New Orleans. There's there's impact from the Caribbean,
- 18:06Speaker 8: you know, like beans and rice, and they actually have
- 18:10Speaker 8: these it's an invasive species frog there that they call
- 18:14Speaker 8: them chicken wings because they like catch these frogs and
- 18:19Speaker 8: fry them up and eat them. And I don't know.
- 18:21Speaker 8: I love Caribbean food, man, It's kind of soul food
- 18:23Speaker 8: to me. They have a green called Kala lou greens
- 18:27Speaker 8: that are exceptional that I don't know. Man, I love
- 18:30Speaker 8: Caribbean food, all right.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I do, Like I had had a lot of it,
- 18:34Speaker 3: but the ones that I have had has been really
- 18:37Speaker 3: really good. Some right there with you. Hashtag go ahead gumbo.
- 18:41Speaker 8: Gumbo is kind of was impacted by Caribbean food.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Well, that's the case, and I love it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:48Speaker 3: hashtag munchies. I really loved this question for some reason.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Cooking sloppy Joe's with potato wedges this afternoon. Any advice
- 18:57Speaker 3: from chef to amp this mill up?
- 19:00Speaker 8: They gotta be extra sloppy? Yeah, uh, you know, I
- 19:08Speaker 8: like to put a little spice of my sloppy Joe's,
- 19:10Speaker 8: I suppose instead of just a sweet ketchupef flavor of them,
- 19:15Speaker 8: or or even barbecue like a spicy barbecue. Uh yeah,
- 19:18Speaker 8: I like to. I like to spice mine up a bit.
- 19:20Speaker 8: But I mean you had me at sloppy Joe's buddy.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Look, everybody wants to like hate on a good I
- 19:26Speaker 3: will mow down a sloppy Joe.
- 19:28Speaker 8: So do you eat them on a like a hamburger
- 19:30Speaker 8: bun or do you eat them on bread? Or how
- 19:31Speaker 8: do you take your sloppy Joe?
- 19:33Speaker 3: So growing up, we did them on a hamburger bun
- 19:35Speaker 3: and it would be a sloppy Joe. And I don't
- 19:37Speaker 3: know where this started. I don't know how I came
- 19:39Speaker 3: to find myself to do it. But I put yellow
- 19:41Speaker 3: mustard on it.
- 19:42Speaker 8: Oh yeah, absolutely, man, that that that vicinity and this
- 19:45Speaker 8: in the sourness of it. Sure man, we used to
- 19:48Speaker 8: put pickles and mustard both on it. If you think
- 19:52Speaker 8: about it, it's kind of like a hamburger, right. You
- 19:54Speaker 8: put the you know, you got to ketch up, you got,
- 19:56Speaker 8: you got the ground beef. Why not have mustard on it.
- 20:00Speaker 8: You can hold the lettuce and the tomatoes. But yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 8: for sure, I'll put some onion, onions and pickles on
- 20:05Speaker 8: there and have it have a day of it.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yet, Oh I might have Sloppy Joe's for lunch and
- 20:09Speaker 3: dinner hashtag munchies. Who would have thought the safest lettuce
- 20:14Speaker 3: in twenty twenty six was the Devil's lettuce.
- 20:22Speaker 8: Well, we haven't taken to serving that here as the
- 20:24Speaker 8: nutritious yet, but we actually use hydroponic lettuce that is
- 20:31Speaker 8: grown here in Louisiana and water and indoors, and so
- 20:35Speaker 8: we feel pretty comfortable about our product. But yeah, that's
- 20:39Speaker 8: a crazy thing, man. It's it's spreading. And you know
- 20:42Speaker 8: what scares me, man, is that I know that there's
- 20:45Speaker 8: people out there that are not talking about it. You know, like,
- 20:47Speaker 8: not everybody who experiences that that symptom goes to the doctor, right,
- 20:53Speaker 8: So you have to know that there's got to be
- 20:55Speaker 8: more out there than are being brought to the CDC
- 20:58Speaker 8: or the doctor's attention. It's just another one of those things, man.
- 21:03Speaker 8: It's wild.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Oh man, it's yeah, there's there's so much out there.
- 21:08Speaker 3: And I didn't even want to get into that part
- 21:10Speaker 3: of it, because you know, sometimes when food stuff like
- 21:13Speaker 3: that is going on, it gets a little scary. Hashtag munchies.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Do you guys listen to music in the LSU kitchen?
- 21:19Speaker 8: Absolutely? Yeah, for sure, and it can be any genre.
- 21:23Speaker 8: We do ask that it not be derogatory or curse
- 21:27Speaker 8: too much, because there are ladies in the kitchen and
- 21:29Speaker 8: we have some you know, we have different opinions of
- 21:32Speaker 8: whether that's tasteful or not, and so, you know, like
- 21:34Speaker 8: it doesn't bother me. I listened. I listen to all genres, man,
- 21:37Speaker 8: I will listen to anything as long as it's, you know,
- 21:40Speaker 8: sounds good to my ear. Sometimes on Sundays we listen
- 21:45Speaker 8: to you know, like church music, gospel. Yeah, well we'll
- 21:49Speaker 8: move from church music to the old school easy e
- 21:52Speaker 8: somedays it's just about pretty quickly. Yeah, I have.
- 21:58Speaker 6: A text question.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Oh, we have a text quod should go ahead?
- 22:00Speaker 6: Laundry okay, chef.
- 22:02Speaker 5: I've been living in southern Minnesota for six years now.
- 22:05Speaker 5: My friends say I need to try lunafisk once.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Have you had it? And what is your take?
- 22:11Speaker 8: I have not. It's like a It's like a pickled
- 22:14Speaker 8: fish dish. If I'm not mistaken, and I've never really
- 22:19Speaker 8: had the ambition to to. I think it's actually like
- 22:22Speaker 8: a Swedish origin, if I'm not mistaken. But I think
- 22:26Speaker 8: it's a pickled fish dish and No, I've not tried it,
- 22:29Speaker 8: and I don't have any ambition to do.
- 22:31Speaker 2: So.
- 22:31Speaker 6: Have you tried that fermented shark or whatever?
- 22:34Speaker 8: No, you know, like the I like fermented vegetables, not
- 22:37Speaker 8: fermented meat. You know, like I just have it. I
- 22:40Speaker 8: don't know if you know, and I'm pretty open minded.
- 22:42Speaker 8: I will probably try it once, but it's just it's
- 22:46Speaker 8: really intimidating to me, to be honest with you, and
- 22:48Speaker 8: I don't know. I just haven't crossed that threshold.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Hashtag munchies. What's the proper way to wash your produce?
- 22:59Speaker 8: Well? With all things considered now, we use antimicrobial wash
- 23:03Speaker 8: that you can get, and there's different types of antimicrobial
- 23:06Speaker 8: washes like UH chlorine based or chlorox based, or there's
- 23:11Speaker 8: a UH. I forget what all the bases of them are.
- 23:16Speaker 8: That matter not, but you know, if you're washing fresh
- 23:19Speaker 8: vegetables from the produce stand or from the you should
- 23:22Speaker 8: always wash your vegetables because there's always likelihood that there's
- 23:26Speaker 8: dirt or debris. I think one of the falsehoods is
- 23:28Speaker 8: is that when you get stuff out of a bag
- 23:30Speaker 8: and it says pre washed, that people trust that, and
- 23:33Speaker 8: I don't. I've had it happen on more than one
- 23:35Speaker 8: occasion that a bug come out of one of those
- 23:37Speaker 8: bags or something being there. So you know, if you
- 23:41Speaker 8: you have to be diligent about yourself man and if
- 23:44Speaker 8: it's let us and specifically with this cyclospora, you have
- 23:49Speaker 8: to you have to use quick running water because it's
- 23:54Speaker 8: a parasite. It has to be washed off. The heat
- 23:56Speaker 8: doesn't or hot water doesn't kill it. Antimicrobial wash does
- 24:00Speaker 8: not kill it. So you're looking to if it's a
- 24:02Speaker 8: firm vegetable, you either need to peel it, or you
- 24:05Speaker 8: need to scrub it with the brush vigorously, or you know,
- 24:08Speaker 8: like raspberries, you're not gonna be able to do that.
- 24:10Speaker 8: And that's one of the things they feel like has
- 24:12Speaker 8: been associated with it. So I'm just steering clear of
- 24:14Speaker 8: raspberries altogether here. It's not you can you can't wash
- 24:18Speaker 8: raspberries really easily without damaging them. Sure sure it can't
- 24:22Speaker 8: scrub them with the scrub brush. So there's some things
- 24:25Speaker 8: that you know doesn't make sense with lettuce. You know
- 24:29Speaker 8: we're dunking it under cold running water. We may even
- 24:32Speaker 8: fill the sink with cold running water and agitate it
- 24:36Speaker 8: because you're trying to knock them off. You're trying to
- 24:38Speaker 8: knock the the the the creature, if you will, off.
- 24:44Speaker 8: So that's why you use the brush. And it needs
- 24:47Speaker 8: to be done vigorously under running water so that it
- 24:50Speaker 8: washes into the sink basin and down the drain and
- 24:54Speaker 8: I and it has to be cooked to one hundred
- 24:56Speaker 8: and fifty eight degrees, which is it's that's beyond what
- 25:00Speaker 8: people typically cook vegetables too. You know, if you're cooking
- 25:03Speaker 8: a piece of desparrious at one hundred and fifty eight degrees,
- 25:05Speaker 8: it's turning, it's turning, you know, like greenish brown at
- 25:09Speaker 8: that point, and it's not you know, like that's not
- 25:11Speaker 8: the ideal temperature to eat a piece of desparrious to
- 25:14Speaker 8: get the nutrient quality from it. But we're doing so
- 25:16Speaker 8: just you know, because that's the temperature that they die at.
- 25:20Speaker 8: So yeah, you know, make sure that you're you know,
- 25:24Speaker 8: people ask all the time, you know, what temperature do
- 25:27Speaker 8: you cook to? And why do you why do you
- 25:29Speaker 8: you know, like I cook I cook everything with the thermometer.
- 25:32Speaker 8: You know, you don't cook something for an amount of time.
- 25:36Speaker 8: You cook it until it's hot enough to be done.
- 25:38Speaker 8: And so I suggest everybody have a probe at their house,
- 25:42Speaker 8: a thermometer at their house that you know, you can
- 25:44Speaker 8: tell what the temperature of things is, because that's the
- 25:46Speaker 8: only way to ensure safety.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Really hashtag munchies chef. We always hear people saying breakfast
- 25:54Speaker 3: is the most important meal. Then we hear some people
- 25:56Speaker 3: saying you need a fast. During breakfast, you get elite
- 26:00Speaker 3: athletes ready to go. If you have a player that
- 26:04Speaker 3: is trying to maintain weight, what say you about breakfast?
- 26:08Speaker 8: Yeah? Well, one I have to stress this. I'm not
- 26:10Speaker 8: a dietitian. I'm a nutrition based chef. I think all
- 26:15Speaker 8: meals are important, and I think that there there are
- 26:18Speaker 8: definitely different body types, right. I have heard people say
- 26:23Speaker 8: that they have success with fasts, but I don't know
- 26:26Speaker 8: if any of our athletes that are fasting. It depends
- 26:29Speaker 8: on what you're trying to do too, you know, like
- 26:31Speaker 8: if the question is are you trying to lose weight?
- 26:34Speaker 8: I think that there are people out there who are
- 26:35Speaker 8: having success with fasts, but it's not to me. It's
- 26:39Speaker 8: not the best way of going about it, you know. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 8: and again there's a lot to be considered in there,
- 26:45Speaker 8: you know, body type, body composition, bone density, muscle mass,
- 26:49Speaker 8: all those things matter, you know. Like the reality of
- 26:52Speaker 8: it is is, in order to lose weight, you have
- 26:55Speaker 8: to have more outgoing choloric burn than you do in
- 27:00Speaker 8: coming caloric intakes. And if you want to gain weight,
- 27:03Speaker 8: you have to be working out one with protein and
- 27:06Speaker 8: carbs and involved in that diet, and you have to
- 27:10Speaker 8: be eating more calories than you are into intake calories
- 27:15Speaker 8: than you are burn calories. So that is it in
- 27:19Speaker 8: a nutshell. I guess, you know, there's a there's a
- 27:22Speaker 8: there's a some gray area in that question of what
- 27:25Speaker 8: they're trying to accomplish when they eat. So it's not
- 27:28Speaker 8: an easy question to answer without a lot of a
- 27:31Speaker 8: lot more questions to be answered before. If that makes sense.
- 27:35Speaker 3: No, it does for sure. And I know there's a
- 27:37Speaker 3: lot of people out there that fasting works for them.
- 27:40Speaker 3: It does. I got t Bob, he used to do it,
- 27:43Speaker 3: he was big on it. I am the I'm the opposite.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I am a big Hey. I want to eat breakfast.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I want to hit the ground running. I want to
- 27:49Speaker 3: have those calories. I want to have, you know, that
- 27:51Speaker 3: intake before I get my day going. So I do
- 27:53Speaker 3: think there's you know, different ways to skin a cat.
- 27:56Speaker 3: I'm not saying the ones right ones wrong, but I
- 27:58Speaker 3: do think there's different ways to do it. I still
- 28:00Speaker 3: try to eat like I am an athlete. I try
- 28:04Speaker 3: to you know, I'm staying active, so I try to
- 28:06Speaker 3: stay on the same things that I did when I
- 28:07Speaker 3: was a player.
- 28:08Speaker 8: Yep. To me, I'm trying to lose weight, right, So
- 28:12Speaker 8: I'm I'm putting the calories in in the morning so
- 28:15Speaker 8: that i can burn, and I'm eating less and later
- 28:18Speaker 8: into the evening. I used to eat at seven eight
- 28:20Speaker 8: o'clock a night, right, you know, I'm not exercising after that,
- 28:23Speaker 8: so that just goes straight to your body and right,
- 28:26Speaker 8: And so I think with that fast, you know, you're
- 28:31Speaker 8: you're controlling the hours that you're actually eating, which which
- 28:35Speaker 8: makes some sense because if you're not going to burn
- 28:38Speaker 8: those calories, you're going to store those calories, right, And
- 28:41Speaker 8: so I think that people do see fruitfulness out of that.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Me myself, because I'm diabetic, I don't like eating large meals.
- 28:48Speaker 8: At the same time, I eat small meals through the day,
- 28:51Speaker 8: multiple meals. I might eat six or eight what you
- 28:54Speaker 8: might call a meal, just eating small amounts of food
- 28:57Speaker 8: because it prevents too high or too low of a
- 29:01Speaker 8: of a low for my blood sugar. And so, you know,
- 29:05Speaker 8: there really is about it's an individual. It's on an
- 29:08Speaker 8: individual basis, you know, like what your body type is.
- 29:11Speaker 8: You know, if you have heart problems, if you're a diabetic.
- 29:14Speaker 8: You know, there's a lot of things that have to
- 29:16Speaker 8: be considered. There's no magical formula. You have to have
- 29:19Speaker 8: a relationship with at very least a doctor or the
- 29:22Speaker 8: knowledge of your own body to be able to make
- 29:25Speaker 8: those decisions.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Chef, this was that was great. It was fantastic, as
- 29:31Speaker 3: it always is. Chef last one here, I'm not going
- 29:33Speaker 3: to read the entire comment, but I do want to
- 29:35Speaker 3: read the last part. He puts full as a tick.
- 29:38Speaker 3: That's my favorite saying to say when you're full. I
- 29:41Speaker 3: think it's good. It's redneck. It's so very Louisiana.
- 29:45Speaker 8: Man.
- 29:45Speaker 3: I am full as a tick.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:48Speaker 3: What's your favorite saying to say? No, moss, I've had enough.
- 29:53Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, I'm I'm one part redneck, one part hippie.
- 29:56Speaker 8: So full of a full of a tick is definitely
- 29:58Speaker 8: one that I use on a Oh it's so good.
- 30:03Speaker 8: Sometimes it's just I'm done, you know, sometimes it's sometimes
- 30:07Speaker 8: it's nothing and you just hear snoring.
- 30:09Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean you could be boring and be like,
- 30:10Speaker 3: oh I'm stuffed. Oh my gosh, I'm so full, I
- 30:13Speaker 3: can't eat another bite. Man, Iron fool is.
- 30:15Speaker 8: A yeah, that's definitely what I use on a regular bait.
- 30:19Speaker 8: Hell Y brother, like a Thanksgiving turkey, that's.
- 30:22Speaker 3: One going to. That's going to, Chef. We thank you,

- 33:57Speaker 3: is so wild. There's so many different things that people
- 34:00Speaker 3: swear by. It's like, if you don't do this, you
- 34:03Speaker 3: can't get it done. And I'm like kind of like
- 34:05Speaker 3: the complete option. Look if it worse for you, go
- 34:07Speaker 3: out there.
- 34:08Speaker 5: I think everybody is different, But can I just say
- 34:11Speaker 5: that I have not stopped thinking about his cannibal answer.
- 34:15Speaker 6: That was incredible, something new everything.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Every time we talk with.
- 34:19Speaker 5: Him, I had yes, every time we talk to him,
- 34:22Speaker 5: I learned something new, and he has like incredible answers
- 34:24Speaker 5: for everything. I don't know how he knows so much,
- 34:27Speaker 5: but that I had no idea that the Caribbeans were
- 34:32Speaker 5: named because they're cannibals and they went from cannies to carries.
- 34:38Speaker 6: And now that's crazy and we just still call it
- 34:40Speaker 6: that every day.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Anytime I think there's a question in the chat that's
- 34:45Speaker 4: a joke and we asked Chef, he answers it. Anyways.
- 34:49Speaker 4: He's like Ron BURGUNDYI there, like, if you put it
- 34:51Speaker 4: in the prompter, Ron will read it. If you have
- 34:52Speaker 4: Chef the question, he's answering it like it doesn't yeah,
- 34:56Speaker 4: and he has an answer for it.
- 34:58Speaker 3: He does. He's always ready to go, which it's one
- 35:00Speaker 3: of things I love about it. Now I'm sitting here
- 35:04Speaker 3: and I'm thinking about I mean, the Caribbean back in
- 35:07Speaker 3: the day just felt like it was wild. Oh.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I mean, they're islands that are kind of in the
- 35:13Speaker 5: middle of nowhere.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Have y'all watched the show Black Sails, Love good show.
- 35:21Speaker 3: That's that's what I feel like, like all those Caribbean
- 35:23Speaker 3: islands were. I mean, it's set in the Bahamas. I
- 35:27Speaker 3: got one more. I never finished the last season.
- 35:28Speaker 4: I did to do that, so I only saw the
- 35:30Speaker 4: first two. But I like young John Silver, who's good him?
- 35:34Speaker 9: What was Captain's name? Redheaded guy was his name? It
- 35:38Speaker 9: was like ten years ago. But that's what I feel like.
- 35:42Speaker 9: The Caribbean was, like all those islands was just like
- 35:45Speaker 9: pirates and like everybody just beating the hell out of
- 35:50Speaker 9: each other, stealing from each other.
- 35:52Speaker 6: Pirates.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Just I just hope that Flint's not getting in any mischief,
- 36:00Speaker 3: is gonna come back.
- 36:00Speaker 4: He's gona be guys. I dabbled in some unique cuisine
- 36:03Speaker 4: pulls out there. Never had it before. They wouldn't tell
- 36:06Speaker 4: me what it was, but it was very tender.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Hate hate all right. Yeah, it's that's wild.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Behavior.
- 36:16Speaker 3: I don't even know how you got there. Just so,
- 36:24Speaker 3: ESPN put out a really interesting article and it took
- 36:30Speaker 3: every team in the NFL and it gave a player
- 36:37Speaker 3: of what they would be worth in draft capital coming back.
- 36:41Speaker 3: So it took a player. Okay, I'm going to give
- 36:44Speaker 3: you example for the Saints. It took Kelvin Banks Junior,
- 36:47Speaker 3: his first round pick for the Saints. It said it
- 36:49Speaker 3: would take one first round pick, bless you te one
- 36:53Speaker 3: first round pick and more to get him in return. Okay,
- 36:56Speaker 3: it makes sense. He's the first round pick himself. He
- 36:58Speaker 3: played really really well. It's gonna say more than just
- 37:00Speaker 3: a first round pick, Okay, just missing out on a
- 37:04Speaker 3: first round pick Tyler Shuck, which I kind of disagree with.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I think I think there's desperate teams out there. And
- 37:11Speaker 3: then Chase Young right on the edge of getting it.
- 37:16Speaker 3: It it said it would give a first round pick
- 37:18Speaker 3: up for Crystal Lave. Okay, I get that three out
- 37:20Speaker 3: of four seasons, been thousand yards, Okay, I can get
- 37:22Speaker 3: behind it. And then Jordan Tyson. We don't know number
- 37:25Speaker 3: eight overall, so yeah, you probably give up a first
- 37:27Speaker 3: It said Brian Brazie would first round point would get
- 37:31Speaker 3: a first round pickback.
- 37:33Speaker 4: I'd give up a first round pick to get rid
- 37:35Speaker 4: of it.
- 37:37Speaker 3: It says Brazil looks like he took a step backward
- 37:41Speaker 3: last year after dropping from seven and a half sacks
- 37:44Speaker 3: in twenty twenty four to two and a half sacks.
- 37:47Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 3: No, but he was more impactful and consistent as a
- 37:52Speaker 3: pass rusher on tape Let's cell and said he also
- 37:59Speaker 3: doesn't twenty five until October. Look, I like Brian Brazi.
- 38:04Speaker 3: He's horrid against the run right now, and his sacks
- 38:07Speaker 3: dropped from seven and a half to two and a half.
- 38:09Speaker 3: You think you can get a first round pick for him?
- 38:11Speaker 4: If anything, you're getting, you're getting the best deal you
- 38:14Speaker 4: can from him right now.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Hell, Biky, pick up the phone right really though, I.
- 38:18Speaker 4: Mean, I'm trading if I'm desperate at defensive tackle, I'm
- 38:21Speaker 4: giving up maybe a fourth round pick. Maybe who wrote this?
- 38:29Speaker 2: That is?
- 38:32Speaker 3: That's interesting to say the least I would say because
- 38:36Speaker 3: that's just not a player that I would I mean,
- 38:38Speaker 3: we had a full segment on how Bill Barnwell wrote it,
- 38:42Speaker 3: how he needs to step up and like what he
- 38:44Speaker 3: would have to do to be able to make sure
- 38:47Speaker 3: that he's not getting replaced by Christian Miller, So that
- 38:50Speaker 3: was a little bit of a surprise to see them
- 38:51Speaker 3: there that teams maybe people view him that way, mate.
- 38:55Speaker 3: You know, I watch a lot of tape too. The
- 38:57Speaker 3: pass rush has never been the problem really now it
- 39:00Speaker 3: went down last year. It's against the run. Like, if
- 39:02Speaker 3: you're a first round pick in the interior the defensive line,
- 39:05Speaker 3: you can't be a situational type guy and get a
- 39:08Speaker 3: first round pick in return. So that was that was
- 39:10Speaker 3: a big surprise on that list. If we're talking Saints,
- 39:13Speaker 3: to kind of give you an idea of this article,
- 39:16Speaker 3: how many first round picks do you think it would
- 39:20Speaker 3: take for Buffalo to give up Josh Allen in this article?
- 39:24Speaker 4: I don't know if there would be a number. Seriously,
- 39:29Speaker 4: I'm gonna guess five and a player seven.
- 39:36Speaker 6: Has there ever been that?
- 39:37Speaker 2: No?
- 39:38Speaker 3: Seven first round picks? How many do you think for
- 39:41Speaker 3: Joe Burrow?
- 39:43Speaker 6: Five?
- 39:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 39:45Speaker 3: How many do you think for Jamar Chase?
- 39:49Speaker 4: Uh?
- 39:49Speaker 3: Three? Two?
- 39:50Speaker 6: Two? Interesting?
- 39:54Speaker 3: I mean, do you think for Jets.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Two?
- 39:59Speaker 3: Two? First round picks? In a little more it says.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Okay, so like a little more like a solid player
- 40:04Speaker 4: to go along with it.
- 40:06Speaker 5: The seven first round picks seven first round picks is
- 40:09Speaker 5: wild insane.
- 40:11Speaker 6: I would say, like, I guess five, like Taylor said,
- 40:14Speaker 6: well it was the good five. Yeah, like five. But
- 40:17Speaker 6: also you're gonna have to give me some more stuff.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it says three first round picks and more for
- 40:24Speaker 3: Jaden Daniels right now, I mean that makes sense, Like
- 40:27Speaker 3: I mean, all of those kind of do make sense.
- 40:29Speaker 3: But the Brian Brazi was the shocker of the teams
- 40:32Speaker 3: that I've looked.
- 40:33Speaker 6: That was a shock because he's also like first round pick.
- 40:37Speaker 6: I know he took a step.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Back, but you should really like trust me, Bro. Watch
- 40:42Speaker 3: his past.
- 40:42Speaker 6: Really though, he's like trust me, Bro. I watched the.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Film and to your point about if your first round pick,
- 40:47Speaker 4: you can't be a situational player. If he was a
- 40:49Speaker 4: mid round pick, people would like him because he's playing
- 40:52Speaker 4: like a mid round pick. He's not playing like a
- 40:53Speaker 4: first round picks. Great, that's what he should go for.
- 40:56Speaker 3: All right, we will take our last break of the show.
- 40:58Speaker 3: We will get to your questions. Ask the bench when

- 41:29Speaker 3: you from having that situation pop up. And another thing
- 41:33Speaker 3: we always talk about, let's say that your trash pickup
- 41:36Speaker 3: day falls on a major holiday, Well, most people are
- 41:39Speaker 3: just gonna skip you. They're not gonna pick your trash out.

- 41:50Speaker 3: make sure it's taken care of. Over at trash Rangers

- 42:07Speaker 3: dot com, trash Rangers dot.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Com, Tigers Turn Talkers. This is off the Bench. Tigers
- 43:05Speaker 2: Turn Talkers. This is off the bench.
- 43:28Speaker 3: All right, welcome back here in OTV. Let's get you
- 43:31Speaker 3: a little ask the Bench, brought to you by friends
- 43:33Speaker 3: over at Doseki's Oh no hashtag asked the bench spent
- 43:44Speaker 3: tens of thousands of dollars getting modern doors in a
- 43:47Speaker 3: whole new AC system from my house. And now my
- 43:51Speaker 3: wife says our house is too cold. What is a
- 43:53Speaker 3: man supposed to do?
- 43:56Speaker 6: Go buy some jacket, tell her get a snuggie.
- 43:59Speaker 4: Yeah pretty much.
- 44:01Speaker 3: Oh no, no.
- 44:02Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 44:04Speaker 4: You did your point.
- 44:06Speaker 6: We're never satisfied.
- 44:08Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, this is a good question.
- 44:15Speaker 6: Go ahead, No, go ahead. I was gonna say, did
- 44:19Speaker 6: England blow it? Or was Argentina just better?
- 44:21Speaker 4: So Argentina's done that a few times now though. Yeah,
- 44:25Speaker 4: Like I'm at some point it's like they were used
- 44:28Speaker 4: to this. This is how they do.
- 44:29Speaker 3: I will say England went too defensive too soon, they
- 44:32Speaker 3: got the one nail lead and then they went to
- 44:33Speaker 3: defensive their subs for like defensive subs, And I don't
- 44:36Speaker 3: think that's what you want to do against Argentina. You
- 44:38Speaker 3: just sat back there, and they had all the possession
- 44:41Speaker 3: after they scored the goal to go ahead, like you
- 44:43Speaker 3: literally only had twelve percent of possession the rest of
- 44:46Speaker 3: the game. So I know everybody wants to blame Jordan
- 44:49Speaker 3: Pickford because that's what everybody does when England loses. Doesn't
- 44:51Speaker 3: matter if he makes forty seven, says, they still want
- 44:54Speaker 3: to blame Jordan Pickford. But no, you went to defensive
- 44:57Speaker 3: too early.
- 44:58Speaker 6: Yeah, so maybe a little bit of both.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Into Taylor's point, Argentina's done it so many times. It's
- 45:04Speaker 3: kind of who they are. They don't quit, they don't
- 45:05Speaker 3: stop fighting. So look, Argentina Spain is that's a good final.
- 45:10Speaker 3: It's a good final. Like those teams deserve to be there.
- 45:12Speaker 6: The pick is in the final.
- 45:15Speaker 3: I said Spain, You said Spain and then talk y' Yeah,
- 45:19Speaker 3: but you did, you for sure did. Mine's been gone
