Gary: Have you questioned your definition of success or simply inherited? It from people whose approval you are fucking chasing. A crowd agreeing with your goal doesn't automatically make that goal wise. And a plan working doesn't automatically mean it's aligned with your values. Ask yourself: if nobody could see this achievement, would I still want it? Your answer may reveal what is driving you. So today, examine one goal that you are pursuing. Write down why it matters. Then ask whether the way you're pushing or pursuing it reflects your faith, your responsibilities, and the man you say that you want to be. If it doesn't, adjust the plan. Humility gives you room to learn. You can admit you are wrong, receive guidance, and build something better. You don't need to abandon ambition. Just give it a purpose deeper than applause.
